“For this reason He says, “AWAKE, sleeper, And ARISE from the dead, And Christ will SHINE [as dawn] upon you and give you light.” 15 Therefore see that you walk carefully [living life with honor, purpose, and courage; shunning those who tolerate and enable evil], not as the unwise, but as wise [sensible, intelligent, discerning people]” Ephesians 5:14-15/Amplified. 

It’s time to wake up — oh you that sleep, for God in Christ Jesus will give you light to enlighten and illuminate your world. 

The question now is — can the Church arise for the good of others in humanity and for such a time of need as we face in today’s world? I mean, to the world’s challenging times everywhere today. 

For we all wake up daily to hear in the news about WARS and rumours of WARS, failed governments, bad state leadership and corruption, and the various states of the hungry, the angry and hurting societies at large. 

The world needs an answer — and a sense of direction in its darkness, which only the saints can provide. 

“If the FOUNDATIONS [of a godly society] are destroyed, WHAT CAN THE RIGHTEOUS DO?” Psalms 11:3/Amplified. 

The world is undergoing a search for identity, self-worth, discovery, and answers to certain quests, with some generations left behind. And the new generation that is springing up has a burning quest that requires an answer to many, if not all, of the problems that have befallen them in terms of: WARS, BAD GOVERNMENT, FAILED LEADERSHIP, VARIOUS PANDEMICS (SICKNESS AND DISEASES), POVERTY, EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGES, SPIRITUAL ACTUALISATION, TERRORISM, ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL MISHAP, BROKEN CIVIL AND CIVIC SOCIETY, and many such like. 

The unstable state of the world from every point of the spectrum tells of a very failing society with the happenings around, especially in some quarters. And this unstable world that is now ravaged and craven with wars, hunger and climate changes has brought the greatest oppression, suppression, human hopelessness and displacement, and chaotic immigration ever experienced in modern times. 

And, of course, the wars, poverty, insecurity and pandemic effects have brought greater economic instability in many parts of the world. 

Could this not be a warning sign for the Church to arise in the last days and give direction to all the various factions involved? 

Suffice to know that we are living in a time today with the greatest acts of hatred, racism, stigma, terrorism, economic mishaps, unsteady democracy, internal and external wars and wickedness, and such like, that have ever been known in human history and modern times. 

Today, every corner of the earth cries out for an ANSWER in the various happenings in each continent, in spite of the various actions of groups united under the umbrella of the UNITED NATIONS and such like. 

May I say that until leaders of all groups begin to reassess and address these crises from God’s point of view, I cannot see any acts of human endeavour, financial expenditure and investment, humanitarian demands or such like efforts that will ANSWER to the FULNESS of the QUEST, THIRST and HUNGER and CONFUSION in the human search for self-worth and discovery of being a being. 

The human spirit is in crisis, seeking for an ANSWER to its QUEST that comes only from the Creator Himself. Unfortunately, men are only seeking an ANSWER to its QUEST from human leadership who cannot fathom it, just as they could not and have not — in final solution to the continuous matters that result in the often economic and financial meltdown, pandemics, wars and such like, that are now a plague in nations today. 

This is why every effort of man today keeps failing, because it is a human tragedy and it requires first a DIVINE ANSWER before the PHYSICAL resolve and result can take place eventually. 

Hence I say today — OH CHURCH ARISE! For you are the righteous ones — the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus’ stead — to stand for the good of humanity under heaven without sentiment, prejudice and dissimulation [2 Corinthians 5:17-21]. 

There is a great work to be done from our various nucleus communities, and there is no room for the folding of hands until our nations are healed as in the Bible days of old, with God’s injunction and willingness to heal the land — 2 Chronicles 7:13-15.

SUMMARY: 
The message is a prophetic call and burden for the Church to arise in this present hour of global crisis. It declares that humanity is in deep darkness, searching for identity and answers, and only a DIVINE ANSWER through the Church can bring direction, healing and hope to the world.

Key Points: 

1. A Call to Wake Up 
   Based on Ephesians 5:14-15: “AWAKE, sleeper, and ARISE from the dead, and Christ will SHINE upon you.” The Church and believers are urged to live with honour, purpose, courage and wisdom, not like the unwise. 
2. The State of the World Today 
   The world is in turmoil: WARS and rumours of WARS, BAD GOVERNMENT, FAILED LEADERSHIP, PANDEMICS, POVERTY, EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGES, TERRORISM, ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL MISHAP, BROKEN CIVIL SOCIETY. 
   This has led to oppression, hopelessness, displacement, chaotic immigration, hatred, racism and economic instability — the worst in modern history.
3. A Generation in Search 
   Both older and new generations are searching for identity, self-worth, discovery and answers. But human efforts, financial investments, humanitarian work and the UNITED NATIONS cannot answer the fullness of the QUEST, THIRST and CONFUSION of the human spirit.
4. The Root Problem is Spiritual 
   The crisis is first a human tragedy. It requires a DIVINE ANSWER before PHYSICAL resolve. Until leaders address these matters from God’s point of view, all human solutions will keep failing. Psalm 11:3 asks: “If the FOUNDATIONS are destroyed, WHAT CAN THE RIGHTEOUS DO?”
5. The Church’s Identity and Mandate 
   The Church is called “the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus” [2 Corinthians 5:17-21]. We are to stand for humanity without sentiment or prejudice. God’s promise stands: “If MY PEOPLE… shall pray… I will… heal their land” [2 Chronicles 7:13-15]. 
   Other scriptures reinforce this: Isaiah 60:1-3 — ARISE and SHINE; Isaiah 45:22 — LOOK unto God and be SAVED; Matthew 16:19 — authority to BIND and LOOSE; Acts 17:24-28 — IN HIM WE LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING; Psalm 115:16 — God has GIVEN the EARTH to the children of men.  

Call to Action: 
There is great work to be done in our nucleus communities. There is no room for folding of hands. The Church must arise to give direction, light and the answer of God to nations, until our lands are healed as in the Bible days of old.

“But the FRUIT of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, 23 Meekness, Temperance: AGAINST such there is no law” Galatians 5:22-23. 

CHARISMA could be defined as the ability to attract, charm, and influence the people around you for a given cause — Plans, Purposes and Pursuits. CHARISMA is often said to be a mysterious, ineffable quality — you either have it or you don’t. 

The term charisma (/kəˈrɪzmə/; pl. charismata, adj. charismatic) has two senses: 
1. COMPELLING ATTRACTIVENESS or charm that can inspire devotion in others; 
2. A DIVINELY CONFERRED power or talent to make you be what you want to be in LIFE and GODLINESS. 

“And the WORK of righteousness shall be peace; and the EFFECT of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever” Isaiah 32:17.  

It must be noted that the sustainability of your CHARISMA or CHARISMATIC life endowment is by the CHARACTER you exhibit in and through it. Otherwise it becomes a CARICATURE, COUNTERFEIT, FAKE, MAN-MADE and SELF-GRATIFICATION in every respect of manifestation and operation. 

CHARACTER — THE RESILIENT TEMPER — is defined and applied to the aggregate of moral qualities by which a person is examined and judged apart from intelligence, competence, or special talents. Strength of character and personality applies to an aggregate of qualities that distinguish one as a person mentally and morally. 

And for the BELIEVER IN Christ, our CHARISMATIC ENDOWMENT or CHARISMA of doing life and living godly, which is as a result of SPIRITUAL GIFTS (endowment) coupled with TALENTS, are sustained in grace and life by the SPIRITUAL FRUIT (CHARACTER) of the Holy Spirit that is GIVEN to us. Romans 5:5 

This SPIRITUAL FRUIT that formulates one’s character to uphold the integrity and etiquette of one’s charisma or charismatic endowment includes, but is not limited to these: Galatians 5:22-23; 2 Peter 1:5-11; Philippians 4:8; Romans 12:9-21, etc. 

• Love (Charitable)  

• Joy 

• Peace 

• Longsuffering (Endurance) 

• Gentleness 

• Goodness (Virtue) 

• Faith (Faithfulness)

If these things — SPIRITUAL FRUIT (CHARACTER) — abound more and more, one is able to live and sustain in grace one’s CHARISMA placement in life, without making excuses or explaining reasons to any, just as Jesus did in humanity —1 Peter 2:21-25. 

You are the CUSTODIAN of your happiness. Make your CHARISMA sustainable with an unquestionable CHARACTER. 

CHARISMA is good and great, and it takes you to heights in any field and endeavour in life when in operation. It helps to evolve your uniqueness in life from others. 
But only your CHARACTER makes and keeps you in your THERE after all. 

Your CHARACTER — is the sustainability of your CHARISMA and CHARISMATIC endowment.

The message teaches that true, lasting influence comes not just from CHARISMA, but from CHARACTER produced by the SPIRITUAL FRUIT of the Holy Spirit. Charisma may open doors and create attraction, but only godly character sustains that endowment in grace, integrity and purpose. For the believer, spiritual gifts and talents must be upheld by the fruit of the Spirit to avoid becoming a counterfeit.

1. COLOUR YOUR LIFE IN BEAUTY: Choose daily to be filled and led by the SPIRITUAL FRUIT of the Holy Spirit. This is what colours your life in beauty. 
2. MAKE CHARACTER YOUR PRIORITY: Make your CHARISMA sustainable with an unquestionable CHARACTER. You are the CUSTODIAN of your happiness. 
3. ADD AND ABOUND: Give all diligence to ADD to your faith: virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, charity. Let these things abound in you. 2 Peter 1:5-8 
4. THINK ON THESE THINGS: Think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. Let your mind be formed by the Word. Philippians 4:8 
5. WALK IN INTEGRITY: Live so that your gifts, talents and influence are backed by integrity and the fruit of the Spirit, just as Christ did.

   Arise and Shine – Isaiah 60:1-3 “ARISE, SHINE; for thy LIGHT is come… the Lord shall ARISE upon thee, and his GLORY shall be seen upon thee… the GENTILES shall come to thy LIGHT, and KINGS to the BRIGHTNESS of thy RISING.” 
   Divine Strength – Psalms 18:29 “For by thee I HAVE RUN THROUGH A TROOP; and by my God have I LEAPED OVER A WALL.” His Light gives you strength to overcome.

4. THE SOURCE OF LIGHT

Light will always be superior to darkness. The darker it gets, the brighter the light glows. The strength of light is known in a darkened atmosphere. Light will always outshine darkness at any measure. Light will always overpower darkness. And no matter the strength of any darkness, it cannot and will not be able to comprehend [break into] the enabling power of light’s superiority.

Light attracts, it glows, it gives direction. 
Light illuminates and surpasses darkness. 

God has commanded light to SHINE OUT of the darkness that was in us, to give us the needed illumination to access His redemption — done, did and deed — for us in Christ Jesus. 

“For God, who commanded the LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS, hath SHINED in our HEARTS, to give the LIGHT of the KNOWLEDGE of the GLORY of God in the FACE of Jesus Christ” 2 Corinthians 4:6. 

Living as the light in His (Christ) light will always be better than in darkness. 
Light gives hope, light shines and gives a sense of life and belonging in becoming. 

And God has set deliverance for us from every evil that darkness represents in the world — Galatians 1:3-5; Colossians 1:13-14. 

The Holy Writ says — YOU ARE the light of the World; it did not say — YOU WILL BE light. YOU ARE THE LIGHT! See yourself the way Christ sees you and BECOME it. 

Don’t be afraid of darkness nor the dark places, no matter what. Dare to be like Daniel and the three brothers (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) against any odds of darkness and dark places. 

You ARE the extension and embodiment of God’s LIGHT in Christ Jesus in the World. You ARE His song, hope, love, peace, success, salvation, deliverance, mercy, wisdom, knowledge, prosperity and more to the dark and darkened world. Be emboldened in Christ Jesus to dare the dark and darkened presence. DARE TO BE A BIBLICAL DANIEL! 

Therefore shine and keep shining. Keep ENACTING who you ARE in God in Christ Jesus. May you ever GLOW in life and godliness, in God’s GRACE and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead.

“When a man’s ways PLEASE the Lord, he MAKETH even his ENEMIES to be at peace with him” Proverbs 16:7. 

“If thine ENEMY be HUNGRY, GIVE him bread to EAT; and if he be THIRSTY, GIVE him water to DRINK: 22 for thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee” Proverbs 25:21-22. 

RESENTMENT is BITTER INDIGNATION at having been TREATED UNFAIRLY and BADLY; and it is a mixture of DISAPPOINTMENT, ANGER, WRATH and FEAR. It comprises the three basic emotions of DISGUST, SADNESS and SURPRISE — the PERCEPTION of INJUSTICE. 

If you must live COLOURFUL, FREE, PEACEFUL and ENJOY the FULNESS of Christ’s REDEMPTION for you, you must CULTIVATE the acts of LOVE, and to PRAY for the one you tend to RESENT and the one who is RESENTING you. 

It is the gracious, beautiful and colourful lesson I heard and learnt from my wife years ago to deal with human DIFFERENCE and INDIFFERENCE. And it CERTAINLY has worked and keeps working for all who have been COUNSELLED along it, in dealing with various matters of life in human relationships: Family, Spouses, Friends, Workplace Colleagues, Leadership, Gospel Ministry and such like. 

I can boldly affirm that it works because Christ Jesus, in one of His SERMON ON THE MOUNT TEACHINGS, made similar statements to us about LOVING, RELATING and PRAYING for our ENEMIES and those who DESPITEFULLY mistreat us in every respect of doing life and godly living. [Matthew 5:38-48]. 

The best way to OVERCOME and TRIUMPH in beauty and colour over RESENTMENT is to LOVE, and to PRAY for the one you ARE RESENTING or who is RESENTING you. For you cannot be ABLE to RESENT the PERSON you LOVE and you are PRAYING for and about without expecting results, except you are playing and unserious — and especially if you truly WANT, BELIEVE and EXPECT God to ANSWER such PRAYERS of yours. Otherwise you are making a mockery of yourself before God, because God cannot be mocked [Galatians 6:7-10]. 

And in the same way, you will ALWAYS RESENT the PERSON you DO NOT see the NEED to PRAY for, much less to LOVE, as the Scriptures earnestly require and put a demand on us to love, in order to be God’s genuine DISCIPLE, in Christ Jesus’ stead. [John 13:34-35; John 15:12-14]. Amen. 

Therefore, SET YOURSELF FREE WITH LOVE AND PRAYER — It’s the ANTIDOTE to RESENTMENT. 
Give it a goal to do today, and you will witness peace and joy indescribable and incomprehensible, both for yourself and for the good of all, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. [Romans 5:5-11]. 

Set yourself FREE with LOVE and PRAYER — it’s the ANTIDOTE to RESENTMENT, at least for your own innermost peace and quietness. Give it a goal today and you will witness peace and joy indescribable for yourself. 

I pray you know and understand that LOVE and PRAYERS will work for you to deal with RESENTMENT today and always. 

You need to PLEASE God to make your enemy and cohorts to be at PEACE with you [Proverbs 16:7]. And you can only PLEASE God by FAITH [Hebrews 11:6]. And FAITH only WORKS by LOVE [Galatians 5:6, 13]. 

And God’s LOVE is without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation — and it is the antidote to deal with enemy and cohorts Scripturally [Romans 12:9-21; Proverbs 25:21-22; Matthew 5:36-48]. 

Hence, you can deal with resentment in the way Scripturally laid out in the context of this discussion if you want solutions God’s way and path and not your self-seeking way and path. 

And BLESSED regards in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS as you BEGIN to enjoy the needed and resultant PEACE born from acting in DIFFERENCE instead of INDIFFERENCE from the norm — “an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth” — the golden rule.

The message teaches that RESENTMENT is a bitter, destructive emotion, and the only Scriptural ANTIDOTE to OVERCOME and TRIUMPH over it is to LOVE and PRAY for the person you resent and who resents you. This was a lesson learnt from the author’s wife and it mirrors Christ’s teaching on the Sermon on the Mount. When we choose LOVE and PRAYER over retaliation, we walk in God’s peace, redemption, and become genuine DISCIPLES of Christ.

   “BUT GOD COMMENDETH HIS LOVE TOWARD US, IN THAT, WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US.” 
   When we were ENEMIES, we were RECONCILED to God by the death of His Son.

   God’s Love is the Key: God’s LOVE is without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation — and it is the antidote to deal with enemy and cohorts Scripturally. Romans 12:9-21.  

5. THE CHOICE: DIFFERENCE VS INDIFFERENCE

Instead of the world’s norm of “an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth”, we are called to act in DIFFERENCE — responding with LOVE, PRAYER and GOOD instead of INDIFFERENCE and retaliation. 

CALL TO ACTION 

1. IDENTIFY RESENTMENT: Acknowledge any BITTER INDIGNATION, ANGER or WRATH you are holding toward anyone today.
2. CHOOSE LOVE AND PRAYER: Make it a GOAL TODAY to LOVE and to PRAY for the one you ARE RESENTING and the one who is RESENTING you. Pray sincerely, believing God will answer. 
3. ACT IN GOOD: If your enemy is hungry, FEED them. If thirsty, GIVE them drink. Do good to those who despitefully use you. Proverbs 25:21-22; Romans 12:20 
4. WALK BY FAITH AND LOVE: PLEASE God by FAITH, knowing that FAITH WORKS BY LOVE. This is how you overcome evil with good. 
5. EXPECT PEACE AND JOY: As you do this, you will witness peace and joy indescribable and incomprehensible, both for yourself and for the good of all, in Christ Jesus’ stead. And God will make even your enemies to be at peace with you.

“For God so LOVED the WORLD that He GAVE His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16. 

God’s LOVED-WORLD is an awesome world of LOVE — therefore, do not be SELFISH about it. 
To many, the opposite of LOVE may be HATE or HATRED. On the contrary, in God’s scriptural kingdom, the opposite of LOVE is SELFISHNESS — being selfish, covetous, hoarding and greedy. 

“GIVE, and it shall be GIVEN unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men GIVE into your bosom. For with the SAME MEASURE that ye mete withal it shall be MEASURED to you again” Luke 6:38. 

The LOVED-WORLD of God is made to be liveable, likeable, loveable and enjoyable because of the act of GIVING that takes place every now and then. 

For example, the plants GIVE out oxygen to RECEIVE or TAKE IN carbon dioxide for their photosynthesis. In the same way are humans and all living creation. We GIVE out carbon dioxide and TAKE IN oxygen to keep our human body alive and to keep life in check. 

This cycle keeps life going every day. It’s a GIVING world, hence it’s a LOVED-WORLD and it’s LIKEABLE, LIVEABLE, LOVEABLE, REACHABLE, INDESCRIBABLE and ENJOYABLE. 

“There is the one who [generously] scatters [abroad], and yet INCREASES all the more; And there is the one who WITHHOLDS what is justly due, but it results only in want and poverty. 25 The GENEROUS man [is a source of blessing and] shall be prosperous and enriched, And he who waters will himself be watered [reaping the generosity he has sown] 

. 26 The people curse him who holds back grain [when the public needs it], But a BLESSING [from God and man] is upon the HEAD of him who SELLS it” Proverbs 11:24-26/Amplified. 

God so LOVED, He GAVE. Genuine LOVE GIVES. Where God’s LOVE is, GIVING goes along. Giving could be in the form of one’s TIME, FINANCE, PHYSIQUE (strength), TALENT, VISITATIONS, MATERIAL GIFT, SPIRITUAL CARE and such like, and more to the one in need. 

“But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.” Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God” 2 Corinthians 9:6-12. 

For it is MORE BLESSED to GIVE than to RECEIVE, for givers NEVER go down no matter what — this I know so well. And that is the kingdom principle which also works in the natural world. I saw it in my parents as a child, and now I live experiencing it daily. Acts 20:35 

“I have shown you in every way, by labouring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECIEVE” Acts 20:35. 

Therefore, do a self-check and be a GIVER today: For God’s LOVED world is a GIVING world — and our passion to help people when they are falling should outweigh our intent to crucify them when they fall. 

THERE’S NO ROOM FOR SELFISHNESS, HOARDING AND WITHHOLDING, in order to enjoy the unspeakable gift of God’s given joy that’s in Christ Jesus’ stead.

[Prov 22:9] And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity. As it is written and forever remains written, “He [the benevolent and generous person] scattered abroad, he gave to the poor, His righteousness endures forever!” [Ps 112:9] Now He who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will provide and multiply your seed for sowing [that is, your resources] and increase the harvest of your righteousness [which shows itself in active goodness, kindness, and love]. [Is 55:10; Hos 10:12] You will be enriched in every way so that you may be generous, and this [generosity, administered] through us is producing thanksgiving to God [from those who benefit]. For the ministry of this service (offering) is not only supplying the needs of the saints (God’s people), but is also overflowing through many expressions of thanksgiving to God. Because of this act of ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to the gospel of Christ which you confess, as well as for your generous participation [in this gift] for them and for all [the other believers in need], and they also long for you while they pray on your behalf, because of the surpassing measure of God’s grace [His undeserved favor, mercy, and blessing which is revealed] in you. SUMMARY: 

The message is a charge titled “OCCUPY TILL I COME – IN GIVING: FOR GOD’S LOVED-WORLD – IS A GIVING WORLD”. 
It teaches that God’s nature is to LOVE and to GIVE, therefore the world He made is designed to function on GIVING. Selfishness is the opposite of Love, and only a lifestyle of giving makes life LIVEABLE, LOVEABLE and BLESSED. We are called to occupy till Christ comes by being GIVERS, because genuine Love always gives. 

KEY POINTS 

1. THE FOUNDATION: GOD’S LOVED-WORLD IS A GIVING WORLD
   God’s Example – John 3:16 “For God so LOVED the WORLD that He GAVE His only begotten Son…” 
   Where God’s LOVE is, GIVING goes along. 
   Creation’s Example – Plants GIVE oxygen and RECEIVE CO2. Humans GIVE CO2 and RECEIVE oxygen. 
   This cycle proves it’s a GIVING world, making it LIKEABLE, LIVEABLE, LOVEABLE, REACHABLE, INDESCRIBABLE and ENJOYABLE.  

2. THE OPPOSITE OF LOVE IS NOT HATE, BUT SELFISHNESS
   In God’s scriptural kingdom, the opposite of LOVE is SELFISHNESS — being selfish, covetous, hoarding and greedy. 
   THERE’S NO ROOM FOR SELFISHNESS, HOARDING AND WITHHOLDING if we want to enjoy the unspeakable gift of God’s joy in Christ Jesus.

3. THE PRINCIPLES OF GIVING
   The Law of Sowing and Reaping – Luke 6:38; 2 Cor 9:6 
   “GIVE, and it shall be GIVEN unto you… With the SAME MEASURE that ye mete withal it shall be MEASURED to you again.” 
   “He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” 
   Generosity Brings Increase – Proverbs 11:24-26 
   “The GENEROUS man shall be prosperous and enriched… The LIBERAL soul shall be MADE fat.” 
   Withholding leads to want and poverty. Blessing is upon the head of him that gives/sells. 
   The Blessing of Giving – Acts 20:35 
   “IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE.” Givers NEVER go down. This is both a kingdom principle and a natural principle.

4. WHAT GIVING LOOKS LIKE
   Giving is not just money. It can be in the form of one’s TIME, FINANCE, PHYSIQUE (strength), TALENT, VISITATIONS, MATERIAL GIFT, SPIRITUAL CARE and such like, and more to the one in need. 2 Corinthians 9:6-12
   Give cheerfully, purposefully, and not grudgingly.
   God is able to make all grace abound so you have sufficiency in all things and an abundance for every good work.
   Your giving supplies the needs of the saints and produces thanksgiving to God. Hebrews 6:10-12 

5. PERSONAL TESTIMONY & EVIDENCE
   “I saw it in my parents as a child, and now I live experiencing it daily.”
   The principle works. Givers are blessed, liberal, prudent and passionate. 

CALL TO ACTION 

1. DO A SELF-CHECK TODAY: Examine your heart. Are you a GIVER or a WITHHOLDER? 
2. CHOOSE TO BE A GIVER: Develop a passion to help people when they are falling, rather than an intent to crucify them when they fall. 
3. GIVE CHEERFULLY AND PURPOSEFULLY: Let each one give as he purposes in his heart — of your TIME, TALENT, FINANCE, CARE and more. 2 Corinthians 9:7 
4. OCCUPY IN GIVING: This is how we fulfil “OCCUPY TILL I COME”. Live out God’s Love by giving, so that God’s LOVED-WORLD remains a GIVING WORLD through you. 
5. EXPECT GOD’S BLESSING: As you scatter and water others, God will multiply your seed, enrich you in everything for all liberality, and cause thanksgiving to God through you.

Do not be so madly and crazily desperate for God’s POWER as some are, compared to having a strong desire to be with Him primarily and principally in FELLOWSHIP, to ensure RELATIONSHIP in doing LIFE and living GODLY in the GRACE in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

For His POWER is for His PURPOSE in us, and PURPOSE can only serve as a good KINGDOM CAUSE in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus, when it is known and understood and applied according to His will as called in His grace. [Romans 8:28-30, Ephesians 1:10-12; 1 Corinthians 1:9]. 

And God’s PURPOSE can only be made known and understood through communion — FELLOWSHIP — with Him, to get the needed INSTRUCTIONS not ADVICE, to enhance the RELATIONSHIP with Him as Jesus did and experienced for our example in relation to Father God and mission on earth [Luke 4:1, 14, 16-18]; and to help us know and understand His PRINCIPLE for your RESPONSIBILITY and ACCOUNTABILITY for the given cause. 

For ABUSIVENESS in anything is a result of limited knowledge and understanding, born from assumption and presumption in ignorance of God’s PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT. 

The early, or first Disciples who became Apostles and pioneers of the Faith were firstly and primarily called to BE WITH THE LORD, so that the LORD WOULD BE FOR THEM, in EMPOWERING them as He sent them FORTH for the GOSPEL with a commission mandate for the mission — Mark 3:13-19. 

Do not go hastening FOR the LORD’S Kingdom mandate; instead go MINISTERING TO the LORD in person, and He will in turn BE with you in all Plans, Purpose and Pursuits. Psalm 16:11. 

This is how to win your day for good in Ministry, Marital relationship, Any other Relationship, Business, Career, Education, Entrepreneurship, Conflict Resolution and such like. 

It is time to develop the heartfelt love that MINISTERS to the LORD always. For in His PRESENCE is the fullness of joy and life for evermore.

The message is a charge to prioritise MINISTERING TO THE LORD in FELLOWSHIP before MINISTERING FOR THE LORD in SERVICE, so that we can HEAR THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT and be empowered for His Kingdom mandate with grace, accuracy and speed. 
It uses Acts 13:1-2 and Mark 3:13-14 as the pattern: God first calls us to BE WITH HIM, then He sends us FORTH with power and purpose. The core is: Relationship before Responsibility. Presence before Power. Hearing before Doing.

The Moon has no light of its own. 

In the cause of the eclipse system, it rotates on its orbit and inclines towards the Sun. 
When its inclination to the Sun’s rays of light is partial, we have partial moonlight or partial eclipses of the sun. When it is at a full, centred, inclined position, it receives the full rays or beam of light from the Sun. Then we say it is a full or total moon, or total eclipses of the sun, because the moon is glowing in fullness. And when the Moon moves totally away from the Sun, we experience complete darkness and we call it a dark moon or dark eclipses of the sun. 

In the same way, we have no light in ourselves, and Jesus is the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. 
When we are fully, partially, or not at all inclined to Him, we experience the same results as the moon in all about our living and doing life. 

I urge you today, to INCLINE to the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS and you will see the FULLNESS of you GLOWING in grace, health, prosperity, peace, success, love and more. 
And you can only incline through His sayings, not someone else’s or your own sayings.

   “INCLINE THINE EAR UNTO MY SAYINGS… For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh” — Proverbs 4:20-22. 
   You can only incline through His sayings, not someone else’s or your own. The path of the just shines brighter and brighter — Proverbs 4:18. 
5. We Are Called to BE THE LIGHT / BEAMS 
   “YE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD… Let your light so shine before men” — Matthew 5:14-16. 
   God’s purpose is that we radiate the fulness of God in Christ Jesus’ stead, dispelling darkness.
6. The Fountain of Life is in God

Call to Action: 

1. INCLINE TO THE SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS – Deliberately turn to Jesus and His Word daily.

3. BE A BEAM / REFLECT HIS LIGHT – Allow God’s light in you to glow in grace, health, prosperity, peace, success, love and more.

The message is that just as the moon has no light of its own and only glows when inclined to the sun, we as believers have no light in ourselves. Jesus is the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, and the measure to which we incline to Him and His Word determines how much of God’s life, light, grace and glory we reflect and experience. 

Key Points: 

1. God’s Light Shines in Our Hearts Through Christ 
   “For God, who commanded the LIGHT to shine OUT of darkness, hath SHINED in our HEARTS, to give the LIGHT of THE KNOWLEDGE of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” — 2 Corinthians 4:6. 
   This light is the life of God deposited in us at new birth.
2. The Moon Analogy: Our Life Depends on Inclination 
   The moon has no light of its own. 
   Partial inclination = partial moonlight / partial eclipse. 
   Full inclination = full moon / total eclipse — glowing in fullness. 
   No inclination = dark moon / darkness. 
   In the same way, when we are fully, partially, or not at all inclined to Jesus, we experience corresponding results in our living.
3. Jesus is the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS and THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD 
   In Him is life, and that life is the light of men — John 1:4. 
   To follow Him means we will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life — John 8:12. 
   For those who fear His name, the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS will rise with healing — Malachi 4:2.
4. We Incline Through His Word 
   “INCLINE THINE EAR UNTO MY SAYINGS… For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh” — Proverbs 4:20-22. 
   You can only incline through His sayings, not someone else’s or your own. The path of the just shines brighter and brighter — Proverbs 4:18. 
5. We Are Called to BE THE LIGHT / BEAMS 
   “YE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD… Let your light so shine before men” — Matthew 5:14-16. 
   God’s purpose is that we radiate the fulness of God in Christ Jesus’ stead, dispelling darkness.
6. The Fountain of Life is in God 
   “For with thee is the FOUNTAIN OF LIFE: in thy LIGHT SHALL WE SEE LIGHT” — Psalms 36:9. 

Call to Action: 

1. INCLINE TO THE SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS – Deliberately turn to Jesus and His Word daily. 
2. ATTEND TO GOD’S WORD – Bank on His PROMISED WORD. Let it dwell richly in your heart. 
3. BE A BEAM / REFLECT HIS LIGHT – Allow God’s light in you to glow in grace, health, prosperity, peace, success, love and more. 
4. DO NOT WALK IN DARKNESS – Reject partial or zero inclination. Choose full alignment with Christ so your light shines. 
5. RADIATE GOD TO OTHERS – As light bearers, let your good works cause men to glorify your Father in heaven.

“But COVET EARNESTLY THE BEST GIFTS: and yet shew I unto you A MORE EXCELLENT WAY . . “ 1 Corinthians 12:31 – 1 Corinthians 13. 

What an awesome BLESSEDNESS, to hear Jesus saying now and always — “GO AND DO LIKEWISE”. This means GO and express LIFE through the EYES of LOVE and CARE; even when you are too busy — because as His set standard, if you are truly going to be His Disciple, love like Jesus. 

In other words — DON’T BE SO HEAVENLY MINDED [MINDFUL] AND OF NO EARTHLY GOOD. 
That is the message to all in Luke 10:25-37, the parable of the Good Samaritan. 

Let nothing come between you with distinctions of persons, as the following did to the man in need through indifference, sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation: 

The PRIEST 

The LEVITES [Leadership Associate/Assistants] 

And YOU [In and of any Capacity — Position, Status [Leadership] 

Know henceforth that Jesus was and is endorsing the need of the hour and moment for all times — LOVING and LIVING BEYOND WALLS and BOUNDARIES of Creed, Colour, Tradition, Denomination, Culture, Tongue, Belief/Faith, Nations, and more, as in our redemption 

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED US to God by thy blood out of every KINDRED, and TONGUE, and PEOPLE, and NATION; 10 and hast MADE US unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth” Revelation 5:9-10. 

“Christ hath REDEEMED US from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith . . . 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is NEITHER Jew NOR Greek, there is NEITHER bond NOR free, there is NEITHER male NOR female: for ye ARE ALL ONE in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” Galatians 3:13-14, 26-29. 

For ALL humans are God’s, irrespective of geography, colour, gender, tongue, looks, belief, and such like, even as written — though not limited to — in these further Scriptures: Acts 17:24-28; Galatians 5:6, 13; Galatians 6:14-15 / 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 10:11-13; John 13:34-35; John 15:13-14; 1 John 3-5:3. 

Therefore — “GO AND DO LIKEWISE” — Jesus said to ALL. 

Do this by expressing LIFE through LOVE and CARE, even when you are too busy — for therein is God working out His PURPOSE in you and through you in His grace.

1. Love is the Most Excellent Way 
   Quoting 1 Corinthians 12:31–13, the message emphasises that of all spiritual gifts, love is the greatest. To “express LIFE by LOVE” is God’s set standard for godly living.
2. The Parable of the Good Samaritan as Our Pattern – Luke 10:25-37 
   Jesus answers “Who is my neighbour?” by showing that a neighbour is anyone in need. The Priest and Levite failed through indifference, prejudice and religion without compassion. The Samaritan showed mercy across cultural and religious boundaries. The command is: “GO, AND DO THOU LIKEWISE.”
3. Discipleship Means Loving Beyond Walls and Boundaries 
   We must not be “so heavenly minded and of no earthly good.” True discipleship means loving and living beyond Creed, Colour, Tradition, Denomination, Culture, Tongue, Belief/Faith, Nations, and more.
4. Redemption Makes Us One in Christ 
   Supported by Revelation 5:9-10 and Galatians 3:13-14, 26-29, the message declares that Christ redeemed people “out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.” In Christ there is NEITHER Jew NOR Greek, bond NOR free, male NOR female — for we ARE ALL ONE and heirs of the promise.
5. All Humanity Belongs to God – Acts 17:24-28 
   God made from one man every nation, determined their times and boundaries so that they would seek Him. “IN HIM WE LIVE and MOVE and EXIST.” Therefore ALL humans are God’s, irrespective of geography, colour, gender, tongue, looks, belief, etc. See also Galatians 5:6, 13; Galatians 6:14-15 / 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 10:11-13; John 13:34-35; John 15:13-14; 1 John 3-5:3.
6. Practical Expression of Love 
   Express LIFE through LOVE and CARE, even when you are busy. This is how God works out His PURPOSE in you and through you by His grace. 

Call to Action: 

1. GO AND DO LIKEWISE – Let Jesus’ command be your daily practice. 
2. Express Life by Love – Intentionally show love and care to people, especially when it is inconvenient or crosses boundaries. 
3. Remove Barriers – Do not let distinctions of position, status, creed, colour, or denomination hinder you from showing mercy. 
4. Be a Good Neighbour – Like the Samaritan, stop, see the need, and meet it. 
5. Live as One in Christ – Remember our redemption has made us one family, kings and priests to God.
