AUGUST YOUR LIFE BY GOD’S ENABLING POWER: JESUS CHRIST – THE POWER OF GOD!

“Jesus answered and said unto them, YE DO ERR (ERRONEOUS, MISTAKEN), not KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES, nor THE POWER of God” Matthew 22:29 (Emphasis Mine).

God’s enabling POWER will AUGUST you beyond human capacity, position you in life and grace far beyond human compression and limitations, and give you such wisdom to innovate, create and initiate good for human consumption. It will make you a true and genuine witness of God’s TRUTH in humanity, and much more besides, in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

And it is gracious to know also that our Saviour and Lord Jesus, who is the central person of the preaching of the Gospel of the cross, He is THE POWER of God and THE WISDOM of God to both the Jews and the Gentiles, in defining the make-up of THE CHURCH of God, in Christ Jesus’ stead, as it is written. Amen.

“For the PREACHING OF THE CROSS is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is THE POWER of God. 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in THE WISDOM of God the world by WISDOM knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: 23 but we PREACH Christ crucified, unto the JEWS a stumblingblock, and unto the GREEKS foolishness; 24 but unto them which are called, both JEWS and GREEKS, Christ THE POWER of God, and THE WISDOM of God” 1 Corinthians 1:18-24.

The term or name AUGUST thus means to INSPIRE (or inspiring), to REVERENCE, to have in ADMIRATION, to uphold SUPREME, to have in DIGNITY OR GRANDEUR, to be MAJESTIC, VENERABLE, EMINENT, GRAND AND LORDLY. And in line with the MONTH AUGUST THEME, which is to “AUGUST YOUR LIFE BY GOD’S ENABLING POWER” in Christ Jesus stead, you can infer to Month AUGUST as a Month to be DIGNIFIED, to be REVERED, to be ADMIRED, to be MAJESTIC, to be EMINENT, to be VENERABLE, to be GRAND and more of such like . . . as you ensure that you are enabled by God’s power.

I employ you therefore, to meditate on these but not limited SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS that’s WORTH PONDERING in context, on God’s enabling POWER that gives the rights to enjoy His BLESSEDNESS in life and grace, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

Herein are but not limited the doing of God’s enabling POWER to AUGUST:

POWER TO “GET (CREATE) WEALTH” IN GOD’S BLESSEDNESS IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD

“But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is He that GIVETH THEE POWER TO GET (CREATE) WEALTH, that he may ESTABLISH His COVENANT which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day” Deuteronomy 8:18.

*POWER TO “WITNESS AND BE A WITNESS” IN GOD’S BLESSEDNESS IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD

“But ye shall receive POWER, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be WITNESSES unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” Acts 1:8.

POWER TO STAND “AGAINST UNCLEAN SPIRITS AND SUCH LIKE” IN GOD’S BLESSEDNESS IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD

“And when he had CALLED unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them POWER AGAINST unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. 2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphæus, and Lebbæus, whose surname was Thaddæus; 4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. 5 These twelve Jesus SENT FORTH, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give . . . .” Matthew 10:1-42.

POWER TO “HEAL SICKNESSES AND DISEASES AND CAST OUT DEVILS” IN GOD’S BLESSEDNESS IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD

“And he goeth up into a mountain, and CALLETH unto him whom he would: and they came unto him. 14 And he ORDAINED twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might SEND THEM FORTH TO PREACH, 15 and to have POWER TO HEAL sicknesses, and to cast out devils: 16 and Simon he surnamed Peter; 17 and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder: 18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphæus, and Thaddæus, and Simon the Canaanite, 19 and Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house” Mark 3:13-19.

POWER TO “BECOME” IN GOD’S BLESSEDNESS IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD

“But as many as RECEIVED him, to them GAVE He POWER TO BECOME the sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE on his name: 13 which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” John 1:12-13.

POWER TO “TREAD OVER THE POWER OF THE ENEMY AND COHORTS” IN GOD’S BLESSEDNESS IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD

“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19 Behold, I GIVE unto you POWER TO TREAD on serpents and scorpions, and over all the POWER of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven” Luke 10:17-20.

POWER TO EXPERIENCE “GREAT POWER ACCOMPANIED WITH GREAT GRACE” IN GOD’S BLESSEDNESS IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD

“And with GREAT POWER gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and GREAT GRACE was upon them all” Acts 4:33.

SUMMARY:
This message is a charge for the Month of August. The core idea is that God’s enabling power is what dignifies, elevates and establishes a believer’s life. The word “AUGUST” is used both as the month and as a verb meaning to inspire, to be revered, admired, majestic, eminent and grand.

The Foundation: Knowing Scripture and Power

The message begins with a warning against error caused by ignorance.
“Jesus answered and said unto them, YE DO ERR, not KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES, nor THE POWER of God”

The answer is Christ — the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Jesus is the central person of the Gospel and through Him God defines the make-up of the Church.

The Meaning of “August”

In line with the month theme, August means to inspire, to reverence, to admire, to uphold as supreme, to be majestic, venerable, eminent and grand.
So August is to be a month where you are dignified, revered, admired and eminent — as you are enabled by God’s power.

What God’s Enabling Power Does

God’s enabling power will augment you beyond human capacity and position you in life and grace far beyond human limitations. It gives wisdom to innovate, create and initiate good for human consumption, and makes you a true witness of God’s truth.

Seven specific workings highlighted:

Power to get wealth
“But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is He that GIVETH THEE POWER TO GET WEALTH, that he may ESTABLISH His COVENANT”

Power to witness
“But ye shall receive POWER, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be WITNESSES unto me… unto the uttermost part of the earth”

Power against unclean spirits

The Call

You are called to meditate on these scriptures. As God’s enabling power rests on you, your life is augusted — dignified and made eminent for His glory, in God’s blessedness in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

In one line:
This August, rely not on human strength. By God’s enabling power in Christ Jesus, your life will be augmented to create, witness, heal, overcome and walk in grace.

AUGUST YOUR LIFE ON GOD’S EAGLES’ FLIGHT

AUGUST YOUR LIFE ON GOD’S EAGLES’ FLIGHT: LET GOD BEAR YOU TO GLIDE ON EAGLES’ WINGS IN HIS BLESSEDNESS!

“Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I BARE you on EAGLES’ WINGS, and BROUGHT you unto myself” Exodus 19:4.

Let God BEAR you and LEAD you on EAGLES’ FLIGHT as He BORE and LED His people before now.
He led them from all oppression and brought them to possess their possessions in Him.

Will you let God do the same today in your life?
Will you let God GLIDE you into ALL that pertains to doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus’ stead?

“Also I BROUGHT you up FROM the land of Egypt, and LED you forty years through the wilderness, to POSSESS the land of the Amorite” Amos 2:10.

“And He BROUGHT His people SAFELY out from Egypt, LOADED with silver and gold; there were NO sick and FEEBLE folk among them then. 38 Egypt was GLAD when they were gone, for the DREAD of them was GREAT” Psalms 105:37-38/LB.

“Grace and peace be multiplied unto you THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 according as His DIVINE POWER hath given unto us ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN UNTO LIFE AND GODLINESS, THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE of Him that hath CALLED us to GLORY and VIRTUE: 4 whereby are given unto us EXCEEDING GREAT and PRECIOUS PROMISES: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” 2 Peter 1:2-4.

When God BEARS you to GLIDE on EAGLES’ FLIGHT by the Holy Spirit, there will be a LIFTING, and the TRUTH will be this and more — you will cease from all UNPRODUCTIVE and SLOTHFUL living; and you will be kept from the SURVIVAL and FAILURE mentality realm; and God will cause you to move into the realm wherein you are PRODUCTIVE and results-oriented; and you can THRIVE then in life and grace effortlessly; and you will be EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit of grace without self-struggle; and all these aforementioned and more will become yours in grace — just because you let God be in you and BEAR you to GLIDE in His BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

“And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. 21 Therefore let no man glory in men. FOR ALL THINGS ARE YOURS; 22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; ALL are yours; 23 and ye ARE Christ’s; and Christ is God’s” 1 Corinthians 3:20-23.

When God BEARS you on EAGLES’ FLIGHT, He leads you through all the wilderness of life as He led Jesus by the Holy Spirit [Luke 4:1-22] to do life and fulfil purpose in humanity;
and as He also led the children of Israel with His power to win their days and years with Him in their causes in humanity. [Deuteronomy 8:1-9; Deuteronomy 29:1-9; Amos 2:10].

Therefore, AUGUST your day, month and year on God’s EAGLES’ FLIGHT in order to enjoy His gracious lead in all the wilderness of life, that you may find yourself while fulfilling His cause and purpose concerning you in LIFE and GRACE.

“And we know that ALL THINGS WORK together for good to them that LOVE God, to them who are the CALLED according to His PURPOSE” Romans 8:28.

“In whom also we have OBTAINED an inheritance, being PREDESTINATED according to the PURPOSE of Him who WORKETH ALL THINGS after the counsel of His own will: 12 that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ” Ephesians 1:11-12.

Enjoy God’s enabling as you let Him glide and bare you under His winds of creativity by the Holy Spirit, the wind, for the eagle flights and creativity [John 3:8; Genesis 1:2].

SUMMARY:
This is a prophetic charge to surrender to be BORNE and LED by God on EAGLES’ FLIGHT — so you can GLIDE above striving and enter His BLESSEDNESS for purpose, possession and productivity.

THE RESULT OF BEING BORNE: LIFTING INTO A NEW REALM

When God BEARS you to GLIDE by the Holy Spirit:

You cease from UNPRODUCTIVE and SLOTHFUL living

You are kept from the SURVIVAL and FAILURE mentality

You move into a PRODUCTIVE and results-oriented realm

You THRIVE in life and grace effortlessly

You are EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit of grace without self-struggle

This happens because God gives us ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN UNTO LIFE AND GODLINESS through the knowledge of Him 2 Peter 1:2-4
And: “FOR ALL THINGS ARE YOURS… and ye ARE Christ’s; and Christ is God’s” 1 Corinthians 3:20-23

THE CALL: AUGUSTYOUR SEASON

AUGUST — mark out, order, launch — your day, month and year on God’s EAGLES’ FLIGHT.
Why? So that:

You enjoy His gracious lead in the wilderness of life

You find yourself while fulfilling His cause and purpose concerning you in LIFE and GRACE

“ALL THINGS WORK together for good to them that LOVE God, to them who are the CALLED according to His PURPOSE” Romans 8:28

You walk in your OBTAINED inheritance and PREDESTINATED PURPOSE Ephesians 1:11-12

THE ENABLEMENT: THE WIND OF THE SPIRIT

Let Him glide and bear you under His winds of creativity by the Holy Spirit — the Wind John 3:8; Genesis 1:2
Like an eagle that BEARETH her young and makes them RIDE on the HIGH PLACES Deuteronomy 32:11-14
God will feed you, sustain you, and bring you into a GOOD LAND that lacks nothing Deuteronomy 8:7-9

IN THE KINGDOM – KINGS RULE AND REIGN: AND THRONES ARE ESTABLISHED BY RIGHTEOUSNESS!

“IN RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALT THOU BE ESTABLISHED: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee” Isaiah 54:14.

To AUGUST — is to REIGN and RULE in life as the REDEEMED — the ROYAL PRIESTHOOD made KINGS and PRIESTS unto God.
And to rule and reign in the Kingdom for our God, you NEED TO BE ESTABLISHED IN THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD which is in Christ Jesus.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTETH A NATION: but sin is a reproach to any people” Proverbs 14:34.

“It is an abomination to KINGS to commit wickedness: FOR THE THRONE IS ESTABLISHED BY RIGHTEOUSNESS” Proverbs 16:12.

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 and hast MADE US unto our God KINGS and PRIESTS: and we shall reign on the earth” Revelation 5:9-10.

“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, AN HOLY PRIESTHOOD, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ . . . 9 But ye are a CHOSEN GENERATION, a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” 1 Peter 2:5, 9.

“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of RIGHTEOUSNESS shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the RIGHTEOUSNESS of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made RIGHTEOUS. 20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21 that as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through RIGHTEOUSNESS unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 5:17-21.

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in him” 2 Corinthians 5:21.

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but RIGHTEOUSNESS, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” Romans 14:17.

“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and RIGHTEOUSNESS, and sanctification, and redemption” 1 Corinthians 1:30.

SUMMARY:
The central message is this: August is a month to reign and rule as God’s redeemed Royal Priesthood, and this reign is only possible when we are established in the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus

THEKINGDOM PRINCIPLE: RIGHTEOUSNESS ESTABLISHES THRONES

In God’s Kingdom, kings’ rule and reign. But thrones are not sustained by power, they are sustained by righteousness.

“IN RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALT THOU BE ESTABLISHED… far from oppression and terror” Isaiah 54:14
Righteousness brings stability, exaltation, and freedom from fear. “RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTETH A NATION” Proverbs 14:34

OUR IDENTITY: THE REDEEMED ROYAL PRIESTHOOD

Through the blood of Jesus, we have been redeemed out of every nation.
God has “MADE US unto our God KINGS and PRIESTS: and we shall REIGN on the earth” Revelation 5:9-10
We are “a CHOSEN GENERATION, a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, an holy nation” 1 Peter 2:9
Our purpose is to offer spiritual sacrifices and to show forth God’s praises.

THE REALITY OF THEKINGDOM

The Kingdom of God is not about external things, but about “RIGHTEOUSNESS, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” Romans 14:17
Where sin once reigned unto death, now grace reigns “through RIGHTEOUSNESS unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 5:21

CORE CONCLUSION

To August — is to reign and rule.
But to rule and reign effectively in the Kingdom for God, you must first be ESTABLISHED IN THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD which is in Christ Jesus.
That righteousness is what secures your throne, protects you from oppression, and enables you to function as King and Priest unto God.

AUGUST YOUR START UP – NO MATTER HOW SMALL: THE LATTER WILL COME WITH GREAT INCREASE!

“Though thy BEGINNING was SMALL, yet thy LATTER end should GREATLY INCREASE” Job 8:7.

“The Lord God is my STRENGTH, and he will MAKE MY FEET like HINDS’ FEET, and he will make me to WALK upon mine HIGH PLACES” Habakkuk 3:19.

It is time to maximise your New Dawn – heads up, shoulders high and high heels of faith for higher places towards your plan, purpose and pursuit in Christ Jesus’ stead. The Lord God gives strength and makes hinds’ feet to walk majestically and in honour in high places of the earth. For He lifts the poor from the dust and places them in position of greatness, even in the palaces of honour.

So, DESPISE not your small beginning with God, as He processes you to greatness in His grace unto BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

“The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. 8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and LIFTETH UP THE BEGGAR FROM THE DUNGHILL, TO SET THEM AMONG PRINCES, AND TO MAKE THEM INHERIT THE THRONE OF GLORY: for the PILLARS OF THE EARTH are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them. 9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail” 1 Samuel 2:7-9.

For God’s daily PLANS and THOUGHTS towards you are of PEACE and WELL-BEING, to give you the needed HOPE for today and a FUTURE. Jeremiah 29:11. Therefore I say to you: DESPISE NOT YOUR BEGINNING, NO MATTER HOW SMALL – YOUR GREATNESS LIVES WITHIN IT. Be assured of God in the process and you shall live to celebrate in His grace.

“For I know the PLANS and THOUGHTS that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘PLANS for PEACE and WELL-BEING and not for DISASTER, to give you a FUTURE and a HOPE” Jeremiah 29:11.

Do not be ashamed to start small in anything that has a clear purpose. With a diligent attitude, your altitude will come in no time through your steadfast gratitude in Christ Jesus’ stead. Therefore, DESPISE NOT your small beginning, so long as you are not competing and impressing but complementing and expressing the fulness of God in Christ Jesus’ stead within you, as you do life and godly living.

“For who hath DESPISED the day of SMALL things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth” Zechariah 4:10.

For as long as there is a process, there is greatness. Anything without a process is a fraud and a scam. Therefore, do not be afraid of the process, no matter how small. There is greatness in it, because God is at work in that purpose to give you a future and a hope in His grace. And all things, by God, will work together for your good in His grace, to fulfil the purpose for which you are called of God – because of your love for Him – to make it all possible for His glory, virtue and honour. Amen.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that LOVE God, to them who are the CALLED according to His PURPOSE” Romans 8:28.

“In whom also we have OBTAINED an INHERITANCE, being PREDESTINATED according to the PURPOSE of him who worketh all things after the counsel of His OWN will: 12 that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ” Ephesians 1:11-12.

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath PREPARED for them that LOVE him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.

For to August is to be – graciously dignified, profoundly honoured, befitting of the Lord/Lordship, majestic and venerable. Therefore, take a new stride in this Month of AUGUST, and AUGUST your life in the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God which is in Christ Jesus. That will put you on a unique pedestal of God’s eternal plans, purposes and pursuits.

Upon this I welcome you again to the PATH to August your life in RIGHTEOUSNESS. No matter how small your beginning seems, you are going to have a latter overflow.

DESPISE NOT YOUR BEGINNING – YOUR GREATNESS LIVES WITHIN IT. BE ASSURED: THE PROCESS WILL LEAD TO GREATNESS.

Therefore, till [cultivate] your land [small beginning], with the enabling grace that God has given you, and in no time you will become all that you earnestly desired to become. When there is a PROCESS, there is a future in that set task [plan, purpose and pursuit]. When there is no process, then there is delusion, for whatever has no process is a fraud and a scam – what an unhealthy state to be in, even with grace.

Hence, tilling [cultivating], your land [starts-up], is a hallmark of diligence, and in due time it will place you in the status of the noble with dignity and grace. Amen

“He that TILLETH [CULTIVATES] his LAND [STARTS-UP] shall be SATISFIED with bread: but he that FOLLOWETH VAIN [MEAN, SLOTHFUL, OBSCURED] persons is void of understanding” Proverbs 12:11/Emphasis Mine.

“He that TILLETH [CULTIVATES] his LAND [STARTS-UP] shall have PLENTY of bread: but he that FOLLOWETH after VAIN [OBSCURED, MEAN] PERSONS shall have POVERTY enough. 20 A FAITHFUL man shall ABOUND WITH BLESSINGS: but he that MAKETH HASTE to be rich shall NOT be innocent. 21 To have respect of persons is not good: for a PIECE OF BREAD that man will transgress. 22 He that HASTETH TO BE RICH hath an EVIL EYE, and considereth not that POVERTY shall come upon him” Proverbs 28:19-22/Emphasis mine.

“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall STAND before KINGS [NOBLE, HONOUR]; he shall NOT STAND before MEAN [OBSCURED, UNPRODUCTIVE] men” Proverbs 22:29/Emphasis Mine..

It is my earnest PRAYER today, that as you take the bull by the horns to ensure your start-up is cultivated through the process, you will not only be satisfied with what you will eventually become in His grace, but you will also abound with blessing – for to be blessed is to be EMPOWERED to succeed, achieve, prosper and more, in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“So the Lord BLESSED the LATTER end of Job more than his BEGINNING: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses” Job 42:12.

“For I know the PLANS and THOUGHTS that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘PLANS for PEACE and WELL-BEING and not for DISASTER, to give you a FUTURE and a HOPE” Jeremiah 29:11.

Therefore: DESPISE NOT YOUR BEGINNING, NO MATTER HOW SMALL — YOUR GREATNESS LIVES WITHIN IT. Job 8:7, Zechariah 4:10
Examples: God lifts the poor from the dust and dunghill to set them among princes 1 Samuel 2:7-9. He blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning Job 42:12.

THE PRINCIPLE: PROCESS = GREATNESS

Do not fear the process, no matter how small. God is at work to give you a future and hope Jer 29:11.
All things work together for good to those called according to His purpose Romans 8:28.
You have an INHERITANCE and were PREDESTINATED according to His purpose Eph 1:11-12.
God has prepared things for them that love Him 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.

THE PRACTICE: DILIGENCE IN YOUR “LAND/START-UP”

TILL/CULTIVATE your land [small beginning/start-up] with the enabling grace God has given you.
Diligence is the hallmark that will, in due time, place you among the noble with dignity and honour Proverbs 22:29.
“He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread… shall have plenty” Proverbs 12:11, 28:19.
“A faithful man shall ABOUND WITH BLESSINGS” Proverbs 28:20.
Warning: Haste to be rich and following vain persons leads to poverty Proverbs 28:20-22.
To be BLESSED is to be EMPOWERED to succeed, achieve, prosper and more in God’s grace.

THE PROMISE: ELEVATION TO HIGH PLACES

“The Lord God is my STRENGTH, and he will MAKE MY FEET like HINDS’ FEET, and he will make me to WALK upon mine HIGH PLACES” Habakkuk 3:19.
Take on “high heels of faith for higher places” — heads up, shoulders high.
God gives strength and lifts you into positions of greatness, even in palaces of honour.
“The Lord shall INCREASE you more and more, YOU and YOUR CHILDREN” Psalm 115:14.

FINAL CHARGE & PRAYER

Do not compete or impress but complement and express the fullness of God in Christ Jesus within you as you live godly.
BE ASSURED: THE PROCESS WILL LEAD TO GREATNESS.
Prayer: That as you take the bull by the horns and cultivate your start-up through the process, you will be satisfied and abound with blessing in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

THE NEW WINE – ONLY ON A NEW YOU: TO MAKE A NEW CREATION YOU – TO LIVE IN THE POSSIBILITY REALM IN THE GRACE!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is A NEW CREATION; old things have passed away; behold, all things have BECOME NEW” 2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV.

“But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For in Christ Jesus NEITHER CIRCUMCISION NOR UNCIRCUMCISION AVAILS ANYTHING, but A NEW CREATION” Galatians 6:14-15 NKJV.

Have you ever wondered why our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ made this statement in the Gospel of Mark 2:22 while He was on earth in human form?
Just to update your knowledge — in case you do not know, as some have reasoned:

It must be noted that in our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus’s day, people used animal skins — such as goatskin — for storing liquids.
Fermented drinks such as wine expand.

And since an OLD WINESKIN (Old bottles) would already have been stretched to its limit, the NEW WINE would tear the seams of a skin that had already been used.

This means that an OLD WINESKIN will not stretch, yield, or respond to the gas pressure produced by fermenting wine.
And because the OLD WINESKIN will not stretch, it will simply burst — which means that both the OLD WINESKIN and the WINE will be ruined and lost.

That is the very reason why NEW WINE must be put into NEW WINESKINS.
And when NEW WINE is put into NEW WINESKINS, both are preserved, and nothing is ruined or lost over time through use.

“And no man putteth NEW WINE into OLD BOTTLES: else the NEW WINE doth burst the BOTTLES, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but NEW WINE must be put into NEW BOTTLES” Mark 2:22.

Also, the phrase ‘OLD WINE in a NEW BOTTLE’ is an idiomatic expression used in context.
It indicates and reflects that an OLD concept or institution is being offered and presented to be accepted as though it were still good, even when it is no longer relevant or applicable in the NEW context.

And thus, people who go about accepting and following such concepts are held in bondage and dogma due to ignorance — the lack of knowledge and understanding of the truth.

And the TRUTH is the expression of the WORD of God in Christ Jesus.
For Christ Jesus Himself is both THE WORD and THE TRUTH.

“As he spake these words, many BELIEVED on him. 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which BELIEVED on him, If ye CONTINUE IN MY WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 and ye shall KNOW THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE” John 8:39-32

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” John 14:6.

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, THE WORD, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” 1 John 5:7.

And there are two things that are very clear to me in this concept and context above, which I will expound in detail in future posts. They are these:

The Continuous Use of the Old Testament Context
That which has already been done away with is being used to legislate and justify practices, to make it appear as though it is still tangible and relevant for now — when it ought not to be accommodated or accepted at all.
Knowing in REDEMPTION that Christ Jesus has already fulfilled such context for the saints — the Believers of God — in His stead.
[John 1:45; Luke 24:25-27, 44-46; Hebrews 1:1-4; Hebrews 12:2; Romans 10:1-4; Matthew 22:38-46; Matthew 16:13-20]

The New Wine — who is the Blessed Holy Spirit
He is ONLY and PURELY meant and made available to the Believers [the New Creation] in Christ Jesus and not given to the world — the unbelieving ones toward God and Christ Jesus.
Acts 20:20-21; John 14:16-17

This therefore means that SALVATION is the only opportunity made available to all in the world, and not the Holy Spirit.
Receiving the Holy Spirit is only made possible after one has received the Gospel of Salvation in Christ Jesus.
Anything else is perversion, counterfeit, adulteration, delusion and falsehood.
[John 14:15-17; John 7:37-39; Luke 11:9-11; Acts 1:5, 8; Acts 2:1-13; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 19:1-7]

The New Wine speaks of the Holy Spirit.
And besides being God in the Godhead and Trinity, and given to lead the Believers in Christ Jesus in all things throughout humanity, He is also given to gladden the hearts of the Believers in Christ Jesus’s stead.

Hence, part of His character is that of the Believers’ Comforter — if you recall that in the Scriptures, Christ Jesus did promise and assure the Believers in Him that He would send them the promised Comforter.
He called Him the Promise of the Father; and that Promise has already been fulfilled and is available for all to access after salvation, without prejudice or dissimulation, and indeed irrespective of person.
[John 14:15-17; Romans 5:5; Psalms 104:15; Joel 2:19, 28-29]

The earliest Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ were instructed to assemble by our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, as recorded in Acts 1:5, 8.
This was in order for them to receive the Promise of the Father God in Joel 2:19, 28-29 — and not limited to them — as emphasised by our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus in John 7:37-39 and Luke 24:49.
This pertains to receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

And as they obeyed that instruction, just as they were told, it came to pass as written in Acts 2:1-13, that they received the Promise of God — which is for all, even until this day, and until the Lord returns — for all who will believe on the saving grace in Christ Jesus’s stead.

Those who observed and witnessed the Apostles in this unique and blessed manifestation, which is attributed to a PENTECOST experience, described the Apostles in their acts and experiences as people drunk with NEW WINE.
And indeed, they were drunk — with NEW WINE: the HOLY SPIRIT of promise.

It is upon such uniqueness that the Apostle Paul drew a comparison to the drunken effect that people experience from ordinary wine, while he admonishes the Ephesian Church to rather be filled with the Holy Spirit, in order to have the contrary result to mere drunkenness, as explained in the context as it is written:

“. . . 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? 13 Others mocking said, These men are FULL of NEW WINE” Acts 2:1-13.

“And be not DRUNK WITH WINE, wherein is excess; but be FILLED with the Spirit; 19 speaking to yourselves in PSALMS and HYMNS and SPIRITUAL SONGS, SINGING and making MELODY in your heart to the Lord; 20 GIVING THANKS always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21 SUBMITTING yourselves one to another in the fear of God” Ephesians 5:18-21.

To be filled with the NEW WINE — the Holy Spirit — requires a NEW YOU: a NEW CREATION body for Him to dwell in.
Otherwise, it is like putting the NEW WINE into an OLD BOTTLE — the OLD YOU, which is the unregenerate life, the unconverted life, and the unrepentant life.

The Holy Spirit of TRUTH is set aside only for the believers in God, in Christ Jesus’s stead, and not for those in the world who have not believed in the saving grace of God in Christ Jesus.
Amen.

“If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may ABIDE with you for ever; 17 even the Spirit of truth; WHOM THE WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth WITH you, and shall be IN you” John 14:15-17.

“And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have TAUGHT you publickly, and from house to house, 21 TESTIFYING both to THE JEWS, and also to THE GREEKS, REPENTANCE TOWARD God, and FAITH TOWARD our Lord Jesus Christ” Acts 20:20-21.

I welcome you now to make yourself available to God in Christ Jesus, to become a New Creation in order to access the New Wine that will make all the difference — in God, in Christ Jesus’s stead. Amen.

THE NEW WINE – ONLY ON A NEW YOU – TO MAKE A NEW CREATION YOU – TO LIVE IN POSSIBILITY

FURTHER SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us” Romans 5:5.

“And WINE that maketh GLAD the heart of man, and OIL to make his face to SHINE, and BREAD which STRENGTHENETH man’s heart” Psalms 104:15.

“Yea, the Lord will ANSWER and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you CORN, and WINE, and OIL, and ye shall be SATISFIED therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen . . . 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will POUR out my spirit upon ALL flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit” Joel 2:19, 28-29.

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, IF ANY MAN THIRST, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that BELIEVETH on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which THEY THAT BELIEVE ON HIM SHOULD RECEIVE: for the Holy Ghost was NOT YET GIVEN; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)” John 7:37-39.

“Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom moses in the law, and THE PROPHETS, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph” John 1:45.

“Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that THE PROPHETS have spoken: 26 ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at MOSES and all THE PROPHETS, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself . . . 44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in THE LAW OF MOSES, and in THE PROPHETS, and in THE PSALMS, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their UNDERSTANDING, that they might UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES, 46 and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day” Luke 24:25-27, 44-46.

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in TIME PAST unto the fathers by the PROPHETS, 2 hath in these LAST DAYS spoken unto us by HIS Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they” Hebrews 1:1-4.

“Looking unto Jesus the AUTHOR and FINISHER of our FAITH; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” Hebrews 12:2.

“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being IGNORANT of God’s righteousness, and going about to ESTABLISH THEIR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the END OF THE LAW FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS to every one that believeth” Romans 10:1-4.

“In the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not . . . 14 And THE WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and TRUTH” John 1:1-5, 14.

SUMMARY:
This message is a doctrinal teaching centred on Mark 2:22 — “New Wine in New Wineskins”, and its application to the believer’s life in Christ Jesus.

THE FOUNDATION: NEW CREATION IN CHRIST

The entire teaching rests on 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Galatians 6:14-15:
When a person is in Christ, he becomes a NEW CREATION. Old things pass away. The Cross crucifies us to the world and the world to us. In Christ, religious rituals like circumcision do not matter — only A NEW CREATION does.
Therefore, God’s plan is not to patch the old life, but to make all things new.

THE PARABLE EXPLAINED: NEW WINE AND NEW WINESKINS — MARK 2:22

In Christ Jesus’s day, wine was stored in animal skins.

OLD WINESKIN [OLD BOTTLE]: Already stretched and rigid. It cannot expand.

NEW WINE: Ferments and produces gas. It requires something flexible that can stretch.

If you put NEW WINE into an OLD WINESKIN, the pressure will cause it to burst. Both the wine and the skin will be ruined.
Application: NEW WINE must go into NEW WINESKINS so that both are preserved.

THE WARNING: “OLD WINE IN A NEW BOTTLE”

This is used idiomatically to describe when an OLD concept or institution from the Old Testament is repackaged and presented as if it is still relevant for today.
People who accept this are kept in bondage and dogma through ignorance — a lack of knowledge of THE TRUTH, which is the WORD of God expressed in Christ Jesus.
Christ Himself is THE WORD and THE TRUTH [John 14:6, 1 John 5:7].

TWO KEY CLARIFICATIONS MADE IN THE MESSAGE
The Continuous Use of the Old Testament Context
That which Christ has already fulfilled is being used to legislate Christian practice today. This ought not to be.
In REDEMPTION, Christ has fulfilled the Law, the Prophets and the Psalms for the Believers of God [Luke 24:44-46, Hebrews 1:1-4, Romans 10:4].
We are no longer under the Old Covenant system.
The New Wine — Who is the Blessed Holy Spirit
The NEW WINErepresents the Holy Spirit.
He is ONLY and PURELY given to the Believers [the New Creation] in Christ Jesus, not to the world [John 14:16-17].
This means:

SALVATION is offered to all in the world.

The Holy Spirit is received after one believes the Gospel of Salvation.
Anything else is perversion, counterfeit, adulteration and falsehood.

THE CHARACTER AND WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT — THE NEW WINE

The Holy Spirit is God in the Godhead and Trinity. His work includes:

Leading Believers in all things throughout humanity
Gladdening the hearts of Believers [Psalm 104:15]
Being the Believers’ Comforter — the Promise of the Father already fulfilled [John 14:15-17]

The Apostles were instructed to wait in Jerusalem [Acts 1:5,8] to receive this Promise prophesied in Joel 2:28-29. When they obeyed, on the day of PENTECOST [Acts 2:1-13], they were filled and people said, “These men are FULL of NEW WINE.”
This is why Apostle Paul admonishes the Ephesian Church: “Be not DRUNK WITH WINE… but be FILLED with the Spirit” [Ephesians 5:18-21] — resulting in psalms, hymns, thanksgiving and submission.

THE REQUIREMENT: A NEW YOU FOR THE NEW WINE

To be filled with the NEW WINE, the Holy Spirit, you must be a NEW YOU — a NEW CREATION body for Him to dwell in.
To put the New Wine into an OLD YOU — the unregenerate, unconverted, unrepentant life — is to invite ruin, just like old bottles.
The Holy Spirit of TRUTH is set aside only for those who have believed in the saving grace of God in Christ Jesus. The world cannot receive Him [John 14:17].

THE INVITATION AND CHARGE

The message closes with an altar call:
“I welcome you now to make yourself available to God in Christ Jesus, to become a New Creation in order to access the New Wine that will make all the difference — in God, in Christ Jesus’s stead. Amen.”

It ends with supporting scriptures on the Holy Spirit being GIVEN [Romans 5:5], God POURING OUT His Spirit [Joel 2:28-29], and Christ as the fulfilment of THE LAW, THE PROPHETS, AND THE PSALMS.

CORE CONCLUSION
You cannot carry the NEW WINE of the Holy Spirit in the OLD YOU.
Redemption demands a NEW CREATION. Salvation comes first, then the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
To live in the possibility realm in the grace is to live as a New Creation, filled with the New Wine, walking in the Truth of the Word.

“Seest thou a man DILIGENT in his business? he shall STAND before KINGS (HONOUR, DIGNITY, NOBILITY, OPPORTUNITY); he shall not STAND before MEAN (OBSCURED, UNPRODUCTIVE) men” Proverbs 22:29.

YOU ARE A PRODUCT OF YOUR LIFE PATH.
It is not the end that justifies the means, as is popularly said. But in essence, in life and according to the kingdom of God principles, it is THE PATH that defines your eventual outcome.

Your tomorrow is a product of your today.
Your PATH OF DILIGENCE in your TODAY will surely bring forth the KING in you for TODAY and TOMORROW.

So, THINK and AUGUST your life rightly in grace and godliness.
God rewards DILIGENCE.
Let diligence be your footsteps and your footprints to greatness.
Keep at bay the MEAN, OBSCURED and UNPRODUCTIVE life game.

EAGLES’ FLIGHT – THE CHOICE TO AUGUST YOUR LIFE: TO BE EITHER A THERMOMETER OR THERMOSTAT!

“. . . 4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I BARE YOU ON EAGLES’ WINGS, and brought you unto myself . . .” Exodus 19:3-6.

To AUGUST YOUR WORLDS BY THE WORD OF FAITH IS TO DETERMINE THE ATMOSPHERE YOU WANT TO SEE AND ENJOY DAY BY DAY IN CHRIST JESUS’ STEAD.
It is in your hands and within your power to choose whether to be a THERMOMETER that merely reads the temperature of the atmosphere around it, or to be a THERMOSTAT that sets for the environment the atmosphere and conditions it will allow..
You can either govern your worlds by THE WORD OF FAITH or be governed by the CIRCUMSTANCES and PHILOSOPHIES of this world — just as the Apostle Paul warned Timothy about exposure and influence. 1 Timothy 1:1-20

The word AUGUST means admiration, inspiring reverence, supreme dignity, grandeur, majesty, venerability, eminence, and lordliness. To AUGUST is to be dignified, revered, admired, majestic, eminent, venerable, grand, and more.
Jesus has lifted you from the pit to the palace. He has brought us out of the miry clay to His banqueting table, and His banner over us is LOVE.
It is not enough to know it. You must actualise it into reality. That is where THE WORD OF FAITH comes in.
You can either live by assumptions, presumptions, and self-made notions, or by THE WORD OF FAITH.

I urge you to August your path as a THERMOSTAT, so that you may have and enjoy the fullness of God in life and godliness.
Give it some thought and be richly blessed in God’s blessedness, in Christ Jesus’ stead.
Be a THERMOSTAT and not a THERMOMETER, to August your worlds by THE WORD OF FAITH.

It is in your hands to COLOUR your spheres of operation and life exploration COLOURFULLY; and thereby THRIVE and FLOURISH, REFRESH and BLOSSOM, REJUVENATE and GLOW — knowing that those JUSTIFIED before God by Christ Jesus shall LIVE by his FAITH. Romans 5:1-2; Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:16-17; Hebrews 10:38; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 11:1-3

It was by THE WORD OF FAITH that Abraham’s son, Isaac, was born, to fulfil in him the promise that he would be the father of many nations. Romans 4:17-22; Genesis 12:1-5
It is by THE WORD OF FAITH, acting as a THERMOSTAT and not as a THERMOMETER, that you determine what you want to see and experience in life.

You too can do the same, as the Apostle Paul also declares in the Holy Scriptures:

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I BELIEVED, and therefore have I SPOKEN; we also BELIEVE, and therefore SPEAK.” 2 Corinthians 4:13

You have the power in your hands to choose which one you will be. To AUGUST your worlds by THE WORD OF FAITH is to determine the atmosphere you want to see and enjoy day by day in Christ Jesus’ stead.

The Instrument: THE WORD OF FAITH
You can live by assumptions, presumptions, and self-made notions, or you can live by THE WORD OF FAITH.
Scripture proves this principle:

The worlds were framed by THE WORD of God. Hebrews 11:3

Abraham received Isaac and the promise by THE WORD OF FAITH. Romans 4:17-22

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I BELIEVED, and therefore have I SPOKEN” 2 Corinthians 4:13

Salvation, righteousness and calling upon the Lord all come through THE WORD OF FAITH in your mouth and heart. Romans 10:8-13

Faith is what overcomes the world 1 John 5:4-5, and without faith it is impossible to please God Hebrews 11:6. Those justified by Christ shall LIVE by his FAITH Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:16-17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38.

The Application
I urge you to AUGUST your path as a THERMOSTAT.
When you do, you COLOUR your spheres of operation and life exploration COLOURFULLY. As a result, you will THRIVE and FLOURISH, REFRESH and BLOSSOM, REJUVENATE and GLOW.
This is how you enjoy the fullness of God in life and godliness.

ORDER YOUR STEPS ARIGHT: YOU WILL AUGUST YOUR LIFE ARIGHT!

“The STEPS of a good man are ORDERED by the Lord: and he DELIGHTETH in his WAY. 24 Though he FALL, he shall not be UTTERLY cast down: for the Lord UPHOLDETH him with his hand” Psalm 37:23-24.

When you order your steps aright, you can never miss your journey or your destination. For you are the custodian of your well-being in Christ Jesus. Nobody has access into your life and well-being except you give them the right – the permission – into it.

Every step of faith you act upon defines your next level. So, order your steps aright because your today and your tomorrow depend on it. Divinity will always intervene for the good of a well-ordered step. Romans 8:28-30.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

“But THE PATH of the JUST is as the SHINING light, that SHINETH more and more unto the perfect day” Proverbs 4:18.

“And we know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified” Romans 8:28-30.

“Veing CONFIDENT of this very thing, that he which hath BEGUN A GOOD WORK in you will PERFORM it until the day of Jesus Christ” Philippians 1:6.

“. . . 5 having PREDESTINATED us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the GOOD PLEASURE of his will, 6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath MADE us accepted in the beloved. . .11 in whom also we have OBTAINED an inheritance, being PREDESTINATED according to the PURPOSE of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ . . .” Ephesians 1:1-14.

This message is a prophetic charge for the month of AUGUST.

Godorders the steps of the righteous— Psalm 37:23-24. He delights in your way and upholds you even when you fall.
You carry responsibility— You are the custodian of your life in Christ. Nobody enters your life without your permission. Every step of faith defines your next level.
The reward ofordered steps— You will not miss your journey or destination. Your path will shine brighter — Proverbs 4:18. God will work all things for your good — Romans 8:28-30 — because you are predestinated and called.
God’s assurance— He who begana good work in you will complete it — Philippians 1:6. You have an inheritance and were predestinated for His glory — Ephesians 1:5,11.

Conclusion:
Order your steps aright today, and divinity will intervene to AUGUST — lift and honour — your life.

ON “EAGLES’ FLIGHT”!

“Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on EAGLES’ WINGS, and brought you unto myself. 5 Now therefore, IF ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a PECULIAR TREASURE unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: 6 and ye shall be unto me a KINGDOM of PRIESTS, and an HOLY NATION. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel” Exodus 19:4-6.

As GOD’S SPECIAL PEOPLE and CHOSEN GENERATION, we can make a GRACIOUSGRACIOUS DIFFERENCE in LIFE and GODLINESS only by the GLIDE on EAGLE’S FLIGHT.

As you GLIDE on EAGLE’S FLIGHT, you will be RENEWED day by day in God’s refreshing grace. No FLAPPING – hence no LOSS of STRENGTH and WEARIEDNESS of any sort – Isaiah 40:31. For on EAGLE’S’ FLIGHT you can SHOW FORTH the glory of Him who has called you from DARKNESS to LIGHT without SHAME and without fear of any phobia

In the OLD TESTAMENT it was a PRECONDITION to have an entrance to BECOME God’s TREASURED and SPECIAL PEOPLE. But in the NEW TESTAMENT, GRACE is BESTOWED in REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus to BECOME special and peculiar. Amen.

So, it’s your moment to AUGUST your LIFE and GODLY LIVING on EAGLES’ FLIGHT.

CHURCH, ARISE – And Make The Difference In Grace!

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus. Christ . . . 9 But ye are a CHOSEN generation, a ROYAL priesthood, an HOLY nation, a PECULIAR people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath CALLED you out of DARKNESS into his MARVELOUS LIGHT: 10 which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy” 1 Peter 2:5, 9.

THE BIBLICAL FOUNDATION: EAGLES’ WINGS = GOD’S CARRYING

Exodus 19:4-6 is the anchor: God “bare you on EAGLES’ WINGS” out of Egypt.
The condition: IF you obey His voice and keep His covenant → you become A PECULIAR TREASURE, A KINGDOM OF PRIESTS, A HOLY NATION.

Psalm 103:5: God renews your YOUTH LIKE THE EAGLE’S — forgiveness, healing, redemption, satisfaction.

Isaiah 40:31: Those who wait on the Lord GLIDE, not FLAP. Result: NO LOSS of STRENGTH, NO WEARINESS.

1 Peter 2:5, 9: In the NEW TESTAMENT, through Christ’s REDEMPTION, we are now A CHOSEN GENERATION, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PECULIAR PEOPLE called to SHOW FORTH His praises from DARKNESS into MARVELOUS LIGHT.

OLD TESTAMENT vs NEW TESTAMENT CONTRAST

OLD TESTAMENT: To become God’s TREASURED and SPECIAL PEOPLE was based on PRECONDITION — obedience to covenant.

NEW TESTAMENT: GRACE is BESTOWED in REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus. We don’t earn it. We BECOME special and peculiar by the Blood.
Amen — this is settled.

As GOD’S SPECIAL PEOPLE and CHOSEN GENERATION, we make a GRACIOUS DIFFERENCE in LIFE and GODLINESS only by the GLIDE on EAGLE’S FLIGHT.

GLIDING means: daily RENEWAL in God’s REFRESHING GRACE. No striving. No burnout. No fear. No shame. No PHOBIA.

On EAGLE’S FLIGHT you can SHOW FORTH the glory of Him who called you. This is your priestly assignment.

August = Month 8 = new beginning, elevation, rising above.

CHURCH, ARISE — This is a corporate call. The Church must arise and Make The DIFFERENCE In GRACE in the world.

LIVING BY ‘THE LAW OF FAITH’ IN THE GRACE!

LIVING BY ‘THE LAW OF FAITH’ IN THE GRACE”! For by GRACE, we are SAVED and by GRACE we STAND; and as we LIVE BY and LIVE THROUGH THE LAW OF FAITH IN THE GRACE, we are ensured and assured of the rights and privileges of our REDEMPTION in Principle. And this belongs to all ends of the spectrum that make up THE CHURCH OF GOD in Christ Jesus – The JEWS [The CIRCUMCISION] and The GENTILES [The UNCIRCUMCISION].

“Where is BOASTING then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by THE LAW OF FAITH. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is JUSTIFIED BY FAITH WITHOUT THE DEEDS OF THE LAW. 29 Is he the God of THE JEWS ONLY? is he not also of THE GENTILES? Yes, of THE GENTILES also: 30 seeing it is one God, which shall JUSTIFY THE CIRCUMCISION BY FAITH, and UNCIRCUMCISION THROUGH FAITH” Romans 3:27-30.

The dawn Month of AUGUST is the eighth month of the year and thus represents a NEW BEGINNING. It is the eighth [8] month in both the JULIAN and GREGORIAN calendars and one of the seven [7] months that is 31 days long.

The name AUGUST means to inspire – REVERENCE, ADMIRATION, SUPREMACY, DIGNITY, GRANDEUR, MAJESTY, VENERATION, EMINENCE, GRANDNESS AND LORDLINESS. And in conjunction with this, AUGUST therefore is to ensure that “LIVING BY ‘THE LAW OF FAITH’ IN THE GRACE” is DIGNIFIED, REVERED, ADMIRED, MAJESTIC, EMINENT, VENERABLE, GRAND and more of such like . . .

In GENESIS 1-2:3, the scripture records the wonderful acts of God in the creation of planet earth and all that is on the earth, as summed up in PSALMS 24:1-2. From the scripture we see that by the sixth day God had created all He intended to create, including man whom He also empowered to have dominion over all of creation; and on the SEVENTH day God RESTED, taking delight in His creation – as declared in REVELATION 4:11 and ECCLESIASTES 3:11.

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast CREATED ALL THINGS, and for THY PLEASURE they ARE and WERE CREATED” Revelation 4:11.

“He has MADE everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted ETERNITY [a sense of divine purpose] in the human HEART [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end” Ecclesiastes 3:11/AMP

When God rested on the SEVENTH day, what then do you think happened on the next day – being the EIGHTH? I tell you now what I think and have come to know and understand by the Spirit of God. This is what I believe and conclude: That on the EIGHTH, man’s NEW DAY DAWNNED – born and made to begin. Meaning, the EIGHTH day was the BEGINNING of man [non-gender] to LIVE for purpose and meaning [Romans 8:28-30; Ephesians 1:11-2; Ecclesiastes 3:11/AMP]. And it was for man to start taking on, in PRINCIPLE, the act of RESPONSIBILITY and ACCOUNTABILITY from the REST of God on the seventh [7] day, in order to find his OWN REST when he has done God’s purpose for him [Romans 8:28-30; Hebrews 4:8-11; Revelation 14:13]. And it was for man to EXERCISE his eminent, given and endowed authority: to be fruitful and multiply, to replenish the earth, subdue it and have dominion in it, and to live in majestic splendour, thrive in colour and grandeur – Genesis 1:26-28.

The EIGHTH day was a day of great influence, affluence and significance – of honour and dignity – for man to take the chance and opportunity accorded him by the uncreated Creator God to advance the PATH OF LIFE in the path of divine responsibility and accountability on earth, to fulfil God’s given purpose and assignment. It was a DAWN DAY of becoming God’s REPRESENTATIVE and AMBASSADOR on earth – according to, but not limited to, these Scriptures: Psalms 115:16; Psalms 8:4-6; Isaiah 45:11-12; 2 Corinthians 5:20.

HEREIN NOW IS THE TRAJECTORY TO – “LIVING BY ‘THE LAW OF FAITH’ IN THE GRACE”:

Do you recall your first time of going to school, college, or university – that place you so much desired, deserved and cherished – and how well you PREPARED and DRESSED to AUGUST it? Or when you started that desired and precious job – how you began it on such a good note with a majestic show that you were present and capable to AUGUST it? Or that first or special date with that special person – how beautifully you carried yourself with such great value to AUGUST it? Or on that lovely, sweet and gracious wedding – how you ensured and AUGUSTED it, so that it becomes the most talked-about day for an honourable marriage, and was at the top of everyone’s lips before all invited friends and family?

It is time to SELAH – PAUSE and THINK – of any other situations you dignified, accorded respect to and honoured, though not mentioned here. That is what it means to AUGUST an occasion precisely and pricelessly. And this is how and why’ you need to AUGUST this month of AUGUST, in doing LIFE and living GODLY in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

It is this act of AUGUSTING one’s life that led the Apostle Paul to say he dearly and earnestly MAGNIFIED and DIGNIFIED his MINISTERIAL OFFICE, so that no man would disdain or take his calling and ministerial office for granted. In other words, he AUGUSTED the office of his CALLING with GRACIOUSNESSS and GRACEFULNESS, with such grace as to ensure it was DIGNIFIED, REVERED, ADMIRED, MAJESTIC, EMINENT, VENERABLE, GRAND and more – just as it is written:

“Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? 13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I MAGNIFY MINE OFFICE: 14 if by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them”

I can therefore conclude that the number EIGHT is the dawn number of OPPORTUNITY and POSSIBILITY- for a start and for a new day in man’s new beginning. When God rested to enjoy His finished work, mankind began its ambassadorial role with great chance and opportunity, polished and fashioned in the path of dignity and gracious display – being revered, admired, majestic, eminent and venerable.

You need to believe again in the you that is of God and in God – to live and reign with dignity. This is the month of AUGUST – let us AUGUST it again by “LIVING BY ‘THE LAW OF FAITH’ IN THE GRACE”.

I pray that as you journey through this month of August, being the eighth of the calendar year, it shall be the beginning of months for you. A month in which you will live and reign in the path of majesty, in dignity, eminence, reverence, admiration, venerability and lordliness. A life where all things are under your control as you reign in the path of dominion. May you spend time in God’s presence that He might order your life to greatness and peace, as it is written: “A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary”. Jeremiah 12:12

Unlike Adam who misplaced his priority with Eve, I pray that this honour of being justified by the deeds of Christ as in Romans 5:1-2, your path shall shine brighter and brighter until the full glow of you is seen by all and they may behold the great eminence of God in you; and then glorify our Father God, the Father of our saviour-King and Lord Jesus, whose presence is your source of life and grace. Amen!

May this month of number eight, being August, turn your shame to fame, your disdain to honour and glory, your failure to success, your setbacks to stepping stones and your disappointment to appointment. May your present lamentable situation and circumstance become your positioning for greater heights in life and godliness.

I pray that the good Lord will order your steps, uphold you, and help you to put on the same kind of spirit as that of Joseph of the twelve. Who, after hearing that Pharaoh wanted him, did not go as he was – in disdain, sorrowful and in a battered prison uniform. Rather, he SHAVED HIS BEARD and exchanged his prison clothes for a dignified robe; assuring himself in God that when he got to the palace of pharaoh – a place of HONOUR, EMINENCE, DIGNITY and REVERENCE – he would not return to prison again. And that eventually became his story. Even though he knew he was in prison, he did not imprison himself as a prisoner. Meaning, the prison did not have him, because the eminent one – Jehovah-Adonai, lived in him [Genesis 41:12-16; 1 John 4:4-6].

I PRAY that you have a gracious and graceful month of August in God’s BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus’ stead, as you begin “LIVING BY ‘THE LAW OF FAITH’ IN THE GRACE” Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Therefore, since we have been JUSTIFIED [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] BY FAITH, [let us grasp the fact that] we have PEACE with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). 2 Through Him we also have ACCESS BY FAITH into this [remarkable state of] GRACE in which we [firmly and safely and securely] STAND. Let us rejoice in our hope and the confident assurance of [experiencing and enjoying] the glory of [our great] God [the manifestation of His excellence and power]” Romans 5:1-2/AMP.

“There is therefore now NO CONDEMNATION to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For THE LAW of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death” Romans 8:1-2.

“No man that WARRETH entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may PLEASE him who hath CHOSEN him to be a soldier. 5 And if a man also STRIVE for MASTERIES, yet is he NOT CROWNED, except he STRIVE LAWFULLY” 2 Timothy 2:4-5.

“And every man that STRIVETH for the MASTERY is TEMPERATE in all things. Now they do it to OBTAIN A CORRUPTIBLE CROWN; BUT WE AN INCORRUPTIBLE. 26 I therefore so RUN, NOT as UNCERTAINLY; so FIGHT I, NOT as one that BEATETH the air: 27 but I KEEP UNDER MY BODY, AND BRING IT INTO SUBJECTION: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway” 1 Corinthians 9:25-27.

“Now we know [without any doubt] that THE LAW IS GOOD, if one uses it LAWFULLY and APPROPRIATELY, 9 understanding the fact that law is not enacted for the righteous person [the one in right standing with God], but for lawless and rebellious people, for the ungodly and sinful, for the irreverent and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10 for sexually immoral persons, for homosexuals, for kidnappers and slave traders, for liars, for perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, 11 according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted” 1 Timothy 1:8-11/AMP.

“Give none offence, neither to THE JEWS, nor to THE GENTILES, nor to THE CHURCH OF GOD: 33 even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved” 1 Corinthians 10:32-33.

SUMMARY:

This message is a prophetic exhortation calling believers to live by faith in God’s grace, and to “August” — dignify, honour, and elevate — their lives and purpose in this eighth month. It ties together theology, identity, history, and practical application.

THE FOUNDATION: GRACE AND THE LAW OF FAITH

The core doctrine is Romans 3:27-30 and Romans 5:1-2.

By GRACE we are SAVED and by GRACE we STAND.

We are JUSTIFIED BY FAITH, WITHOUT THE DEEDS OF THE LAW.

This applies to all: THE JEWS [THE CIRCUMCISION] and THE GENTILES [THE UNCIRCUMCISION] — there is one God for both.

Boasting is excluded. Peace with God, access into grace, and all rights of REDEMPTION come through faith, not works.

Other anchor texts: Romans 8:1-2 — no condemnation for those in Christ; 1 Timothy 1:8-11 — the law is good when used lawfully.

THE MEANING OF AUGUST AND THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE EIGHTH MONTH

August is the 8th month, with 31 days, in both Julian and Gregorian calendars.

AUGUST means: to inspire REVERENCE, ADMIRATION, SUPREMACY, DIGNITY, GRANDEUR, MAJESTY, VENERATION, EMINENCE, GRANDNESS, LORDLINESS.

To AUGUST something is to treat it with dignity, to make it revered, admired, majestic and grand.

Theological meaning of 8: The 7th day was when God RESTED after creation Genesis 1-2:3, Revelation 4:11, Ecclesiastes 3:11.
The EIGHTH day therefore represents man’s NEW BEGINNING — the dawn of purpose, responsibility, and dominion. It is when man began his ambassadorial role to be fruitful, multiply, subdue, and have dominion Genesis 1:26-28. It is a day of OPPORTUNITY, POSSIBILITY, INFLUENCE, AFFLUENCE, HONOUR and DIGNITY.

THE CALL: AUGUST YOUR LIFE AND OFFICE

Using relatable pictures, the message asks:

How did you prepare for school, university, first job, first date, wedding? You dressed, prepared, and showed up to AUGUST those occasions.

SELAH — PAUSE AND THINK: Apply that same honour to your life now.

Example: The Apostle Paul MAGNIFIED his MINISTERIAL OFFICE Romans 11:13-14 so that no one would disdain it. He handled his calling with GRACIOUSNESS and GRACEFULNESS.

We are to AUGUST this month of AUGUST by LIVING BY ‘THE LAW OF FAITH’ IN THE GRACE — doing LIFE and living GODLY in Christ Jesus’ stead.

PRAYER AND PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS FOR AUGUST
That this 8th month will be the beginning of months for you — a month of majesty, dignity, eminence, dominion.
That your path will shine brighter and brighter Proverbs 4:18 as you are justified by Christ Romans 5:1-2, so that men see God’s eminence in you and glorify the Father.
Turnaround prayers: Shame to fame, disdain to honour, failure to success, setbacks to stepping stones, disappointment to appointment.
That the Lord will order your steps like Joseph: who, though in prison, did not see himself as a prisoner. He shaved, changed his robe, and walked into Pharaoh’s palace with dignity because Jehovah-Adonai lived in him Genesis 41:12-16; 1 John 4:4.
