THE WORD OF GOD: THE LIFE & LIVING GRACE OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT-BEING! 

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall NOT LIVE by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” Matthew 4:4 [Luke 4:4]. 

Man is a spirit-being. 
He has a soul — the subconscious of the will, emotion, intellect, and faculty of reasoning — and he lives in a body made of dust, clay and sand. 

There is the need to FEED the man in your human, for that man in your human is your spirit. 
Meaning, you ARE a spirit-being, you HAVE a soul, and you LIVE in a body. 

Your definition is in your spirit-being because it is eternal. 
It gives life and living to your soul and body, and connects your whole being to the heavenly, so that you may have a life and a living that is godly and divinely linked. 

Therefore, synchronise your whole — total, complete — being as a spirit, in order to energise and synergise your soul and body by THE WORD of God, for your now, today and tomorrow in the grace.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“For THE WORD of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” Hebrews 4:12-13. 

“And the very God of peace SANCTIFY you WHOLLY [TOTALLY, COMPLETELY]; and I pray God your WHOLE spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Thessalonians 5:23. 

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” Genesis 2:7. 

“But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding” Job 32:8. 

“The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life” Job 33:4.

“In the beginning was THE WORD, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and THE LIFE was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not . . . 14 And THE WORD was made FLESH [[HUMAN], and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John 1:1-5, 14/Emphasis Mine. 

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, THE WORD, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” 1 John 5:7. 

SUMMARY: 
This message centres on the truth that man’s primary need is spiritual nourishment. It teaches that because man is fundamentally a spirit-being, his life, strength and definition come from THE WORD of God, not just from physical things. 

KEY POINTS: 

  1. THE FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH:MANLIVES BY THE WORD 

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall NOT LIVE by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” Matthew 4:4  
Jesus establishes that physical bread sustains the body, but the spirit-man is sustained by every Word from God. Spiritual feeding is not optional, it is essential for life. 

  1. THE COMPOSITION OF MAN: SPIRIT,SOULAND BODY 

Man is a spirit-being. 
He HAS a soul — the subconscious of the will, emotion, intellect, and faculty of reasoning — and he LIVES in a body made of dust, clay and sand. 
Meaning, you ARE a spirit-being, you HAVE a soul, and you LIVE in a body. 
Your true definition and identity is in your eternal spirit-being. It is the spirit that gives life to your soul and body, and connects your whole being to the heavenly realm so that your life can be godly and divinely linked. 

Genesis 2:7 — “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” 
This shows the origin: body from dust, spirit from God’s breath, resulting in a living soul. 

Job 32:8 — “But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.” 
Job 33:4 — “The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.” 
The human spirit is the part that receives divine inspiration, understanding and life.  

  1. THE CONDITION OF THE SPIRIT AFFECTSTHE WHOLE MAN

The state of your spirit directly impacts your soul and body. 
Proverbs 18:14 — “The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a WOUNDED spirit who can bear?” 
Proverbs 17:22 — “A MERRY heart [human spirit] doeth good like a medicine: but a BROKEN spirit [human spirit] drieth the bones.” 
A strong, healthy spirit sustains you. A wounded or broken spirit weakens the entire person. Hence the urgent need to feed and strengthen the spirit. 

  1. HOW THE SPIRIT IS FED AND SYNCHRONISED: BYTHE WORD

Therefore, you must synchronise your whole — total, complete — being as a spirit, in order to energise and synergise your soul and body by THE WORD of God, for your now, today and tomorrow in the grace. 

Hebrews 4:12-13 — “For THE WORD of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” 
The Word feeds the spirit, separates soul from spirit, and brings clarity to the inner man. 

1 Thessalonians 5:23 — “And the very God of peace SANCTIFY you WHOLLY [TOTALLY, COMPLETELY]; and I pray God your WHOLE spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 
God’s desire is for your entire being — spirit, soul and body — to be sanctified and preserved. This happens as you are fed by the Word.  

  1. THE WORDIS PERSONAL: CHRIST HIMSELF 

John 1:1-5, 14 — “In the beginning was THE WORD, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD was God… In him was life; and THE LIFE was the light of men… And THE WORD was made FLESH [HUMAN] and dwelt among us…” 
1 John 5:7 — “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, THE WORD, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” 
To feed on THE WORD is to feed on Christ. The Word is not just text; it is the living Person who gives life and light. 

In one sentence: 
Because you are a spirit-being living in a body, your true life and strength comes from feeding your spirit with THE WORD of God, so that your whole being is energised, sanctified and divinely linked.

THE HIGHER LAW – THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS

THE HIGHER LAW – THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS: ASSURED THE TRUTH THAT GIVES FREEDOM FROM THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH!  

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” John 14:6 

“As He spoke these words, many believed in Him. 31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you ABIDE [CONTINUE] in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall KNOW THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH shall make you FREE” John 8:30-32/Amplified. 

Every day, and in every phase of doing life, people crave TRUTH, without THE TRUTH. 

Employers want people of good character, with the assurance that such people will uphold the truth. 
The people elect leaders, and leaders appoint people to places of leadership and governance, on the basis that they will uphold the truth and be truthful in character. 
And people look to families, friends, colleagues, business partners, relationships, religious leaders and such like, with the hope that truth will be upheld in every situation. 

Unfortunately, that does not become the reality — because THE TRUTH is not factored into the context of truth, though it is expected. And that makes it elusive in so many ways. 

The simple reason for this is that people are not in tune with the higher law: the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:2 
So over time, people have lied, and are still lying, by using the language of righteousness to mislead people in their unrighteous acts of doing life as it is written: 

“For [God does not OVERLOOK sin and] the WRATH of God is REVEALED from heaven against all UNGODLINESS and UNRIGHTEOUSNESS of men who in their WICKEDNESS SUPPRESS and STIFLE THE TRUTH, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them [in their inner consciousness], for God made it evident to them” Romans 1:18-19/Amplified  

What then is THE TRUTH, and how can THE TRUTH factor into our being to become our reality in doing life and living godly in the grace? 

THE TRUTH is Jesus! He is not truth but THE TRUTH John 14:6. 
And when He is not factored into the context of our doing life and living godly in the grace, we fall into make-believe truth and not THE TRUTH. 

For THE TRUTH operates in the realm of the higher law — the law of the Spirit of life life-giving — that is in Christ Jesus Romans 8:2. 
And it is in the working of this higher law that we are set free. We receive FREEDOM from the law of sin and death — that which many desire to have within them and offer to others. But without Him, it remains an illusion to attain by human effort: truth without THE TRUTH. 

It is by you, the believing child of God in Christ Jesus, ensuring and assuring to be doing life and living godly by THE HIGHER LAW — THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS, that you can activate and actualise the FREEDOM in your innermost being. 
This enables you to live over and above the severity of the RUDIMENTARY PRINCIPLES of this world — which operate within THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH. 

Otherwise, the intent to hope for THE TRUTH that is beyond facts will only end as fate, and not in faith — in the faith. For you cannot emancipate any man with anything less than a man. 

That is why the acts of sacrifice — like the killing of animals such as bulls, rams, turtledoves and lambs in the Old Testament — could not remit man’s sin and sinful nature, nor bring about wholesome redemption. 

For SIN, and its corresponding effects, are summed up in these three: POVERTY, SICKNESS and SPIRITUAL DEATH. 
These have been the daily life challenges of humanity — to overcome and be free from them in every aspect, context and concept of life. 

And to overcome and have freedom within, as a synergy to doing life and living godly in the grace, God used something higher than man, and in the likeness of man, to deliver and emancipate man from the bondage of sin and death. 

Sin — which is disobedience to God’s given instructions and commands — is the reason for POVERTY, SICKNESS and SPIRITUAL DEATH. 
And God’s command, especially when it is direct and specific, is not advice to take or leave. It is divine instruction to be obeyed with a willing and obedient spirit. 

The act of Adam disobeying the express instruction of God, knowing the intent and repercussion, was treason. It was like saying, “I am going to break your word intentionally, while you go and do your worst.” 
That “worst” has resulted in: POVERTY, SICKNESS and SPIRITUAL DEATH to all mankind. 
For though he himself was not cursed per se, the place — the ground — of his livelihood and cultivation was cursed Genesis 3:17-19. Ever since then mankind has had to work through the cultivating process to make a living. 
Adam died spiritually first, and in time he died physically. And because the blood — of Jesus, the Lamb — was shed to keep him clothed Genesis 3:21, he was saved eternally. 

Spiritual death results in and precedes physical death, and where there is no remedy, eternal death follows. 

That is why when THE TRUTH is not taught, not known, and is suppressed and denied with mere facts that bear no truth, then ignorance, erroneous living, foolishness and such like will crowd the minds of people. They will make and keep making false judgements about THE TRUTH in their lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6; Isaiah 5:13-15; Matthew 22:29; Romans 1:18-32 

Furthermore, another effect of not having the assurance of THE TRUTH in context and application is that people resort to denominational indoctrination, religious dogmas, sectarianism, traditionalism and such like — man-made by-laws of dos and don’ts. Colossians 2:8-23; Galatians 4:1-5, 8-11; Romans 8:1-11 

And though in the days of ignorance God overlooked such things Acts 17:30, He now commands all men everywhere to locate THE TRUTH, because judgement day is coming. 

And by THE HIGHER LAW — THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS, we can know the truth that emancipates and gives ASSURED FREEDOM in the grace — without sentiment, prejudice or dissimulation in every context of life doing and living. John 8:32 

“Therefore God OVERLOOKED and DISREGARDED the former ages of IGNORANCE; but now He COMMANDS all people everywhere to repent [that is, to change their old way of thinking, to regret their past sins, and to seek God’s purpose for their lives], 31 because He has set a day when He will judge the inhabited world in righteousness by a Man whom He has appointed and destined for that task, and He has provided credible proof to everyone by raising Him from the dead” Acts 17:30-31/Amplified. 

“And now I commend you to God [placing you in His protective, loving care] and [I commend you] to the word of His grace [the counsel and promises of His unmerited favor]. His grace is able to build you up and to give you the [rightful] inheritance among all those who are sanctified [that is, among those who are set apart for God’s purpose—all believers]” Acts 20:32/Amplified. 

It is time to make a resolute, intentional and pragmatic decision to lay hold of the realm of the higher law — the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus — to enable you to be above, only and always, in the grace, in Christ Jesus. Amen. 

There is the bondage of the Adamic nature, the result of which was the curse of the fall. 
And to address the curse of the fall came the Mosaic Law with conditional blessings that were accompanied by curses — for sin, sinful disobedience, and death is the final consequence of disobedience. 

This cursed nature and its effects are what the higher law — the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus — has come to deal with. 
It assures and ensures that the redemptive freedom in Christ is actualised in you, in the grace.

“There is therefore NOW NO CONDEMNATION to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For THE LAW of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me FREE from THE LAW of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh . . . 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also GIVE LIFE to your MORTAL BODIES through His Spirit who dwells in you . . .14 For as many as are LED by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God . . . 17] and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together” Romans 8:1-17. 

“For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” 11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” 12 Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.” 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith . . . 19 What purpose then does the law serve? “12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. 15 But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. 16 And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. 17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) . . . 20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. “It was for this FREEDOM that Christ SET US FREE [completely liberating us]; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery [which you once removed] . . . 4 You have been severed from Christ, if you seek to be justified [that is, declared free of the guilt of sin and its penalty, and placed in right standing with God] through the Law; you have fallen from grace [for you have lost your grasp on God’s unmerited favor and blessing]. 5 For we [not relying on the Law but] through the [strength and power of the Holy] Spirit, by faith, are waiting [confidently] for the hope of righteousness [the completion of our salvation]. 6 For [if we are] in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but only faith activated and expressed and working through love . . . 13 For you, my brothers, were called to FREEDOM; only do not let your FREEDOM become an opportunity for the sinful nature (worldliness, selfishness), but through love serve and seek the best for one another . . . 16 But I say, walk habitually in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature [which responds impulsively without regard for God and His precepts] . . . 18 But if you are guided and led by the Spirit, you are not subject to the Law” Galatians 5:1-18/Amplified. 

“. . . For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. 5 For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” 6 But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) 7 or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no DISTINCTION between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be SAVED” Romans 10:1-13. 

SUMMARY: 
This is a doctrinal charge calling believers back to Christ as THE TRUTH and to walk by THE HIGHER LAW — the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:2). It contrasts human “truth” with THE TRUTH who is a Person and shows how freedom is only actualised in Him. 

KEY POINTS: 

  1. THE UNIVERSAL CRAVING VS THE DIVINE ANSWER

Every day, in every sphere of life — work, governance, family, business, religion — people crave TRUTH. 
Employers want integrity. Citizens want honest leaders. People want truthful relationships. 
The problem: They are craving truth without THE TRUTH. 
Because THE TRUTH is not factored into the context, it becomes elusive. 
Romans 1:18-19 — Men suppress and stifle THE TRUTH in their unrighteousness. 

THE ANSWER: THE TRUTH is Jesus (John 14:6). 
He is not an idea or a principle. He is a Person. Without Him, we fall into make-believe truth.  

  1. HOW THE TRUTH BECOMES OUR REALITY: THE HIGHER LAW

THE TRUTH operates in the realm of THE HIGHER LAW — the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:2). 
This is a life-giving law. 
It is by this law that we are set free from THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH. 
(John 8:31-32 )— “If you abide in My word… you shall KNOW THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH shall make you FREE.” 

Application: As believing children of God, we must intentionally ensure we are doing life and living godly by THE HIGHER LAW. That is how we activate and actualise FREEDOM in our innermost being. 
This enables us to live above the RUDIMENTARY PRINCIPLES of this world (Colossians 2:8, 20). 

Without Him, any attempt at truth is just human effort. It ends as fate, not faith. 

  1. WHY THE OLD SYSTEM COULD NOT FREE US
    The Adamic Nature: Brought the curse of the fall. (Genesis 3:17-19) 
    Adam’s disobedience was treason. The result: POVERTY, SICKNESS and SPIRITUAL DEATH came upon all mankind (Romans 5:12-17). 
    The Mosaic Law: Was given to expose sin. It offered conditional blessings with curses (Galatians 3:10-13). 
    But it was weak through the flesh (Romans 8:3). It could not remit sin or give life. 
    It was a tutor to bring us to Christ (Galatians 3:24). 

Animal sacrifices — bulls, rams, lambs — could not deal with sin and its effects (Hebrews 10:1-4). 
Something higher than man was needed.  

  1. THE REMEDY: CHRIST, THE WORD MADE FLESH

God sent His Son in the likeness of man (Romans 8:3). 
John 1:1, 14, 17 — “In the beginning was THE WORD… and THE WORD became flesh… full of grace and TRUTH. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and TRUTH came through Jesus Christ.” 

Through His death and resurrection: 

  • He condemned sin in the flesh Romans 8:3 
  • He redeemed us from the curse of the law Galatians 3:13 
  • He clothed Adam with blood Genesis 3:21 — a picture of eternal redemption 
  • He gives life to our mortal bodies by His Spirit Romans 8:11 

Result: “There is therefore NOW NO CONDEMNATION to those who are in Christ Jesus…” Romans 8:1  

  1. THE CONSEQUENCE OF IGNORING THE TRUTH

When THE TRUTH is not taught or known: 

Ignorance and Error: Hosea 4:6; Isaiah 5:13-15 — People make false judgements. 

Religion and Bondage: People resort to denominational indoctrination, dogmas, sectarianism, traditionalism and man-made rules. Colossians 2:8-23; Galatians 4:1-11 

Suppression: Romans 1:18 — Ungodliness and unrighteousness stifle THE TRUTH. 

Though God overlooked times of ignorance (Acts 17:30), He now commands all men everywhere to repent and locate THE TRUTH, because judgement day is coming (Acts 17:31). 

  1. THE CALL: A RESOLUTE DECISION

It is time to make a resolute, intentional and pragmatic decision to lay hold of THE HIGHER LAW. 
To walk habitually in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16, 18). 
To be led by the Spirit (Romans 8:14). 
To stand firm in the freedom Christ has set us free with (Galatians 5:1). 

By THE HIGHER LAW we know the truth that emancipates and gives ASSURED FREEDOM in the grace — without sentiment, prejudice or dissimulation (John 8:32). 
(Acts 20:32) — “His grace is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” 

In one sentence: 
Human truth without THE TRUTH will always fail. Only by abiding in Jesus and walking by the law of the Spirit of life can we be set free, live above the curse, and inherit the grace of God.

THE NEW WINE – ONLY ON A NEW YOU

THE NEW WINE – ONLY ON A NEW YOU: TO MAKE A NEW CREATION YOU – TO LIVE IN THE POSSIBILITY REALM IN THE GRACE! 

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is A NEW CREATION; old things have passed away; behold, all things have BECOME NEW” 2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV. 

“But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For in Christ Jesus NEITHER CIRCUMCISION NOR UNCIRCUMCISION AVAILS ANYTHING, but A NEW CREATION” Galatians 6:14-15 NKJV. 

Have you ever wondered why our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ made this statement in the Gospel of Mark 2:22 while He was on earth in human form? 
Just to update your knowledge — in case you do not know, as some have reasoned: 

It must be noted that in our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus’s day, people used animal skins — such as goatskin — for storing liquids. 
Fermented drinks such as wine expand. 

And since an OLD WINESKIN (Old bottles) would already have been stretched to its limit, the NEW WINE would tear the seams of a skin that had already been used. 

This means that an OLD WINESKIN will not stretch, yield, or respond to the gas pressure produced by fermenting wine. 
And because the OLD WINESKIN will not stretch, it will simply burst — which means that both the OLD WINESKIN and the WINE will be ruined and lost. 

That is the very reason why NEW WINE must be put into NEW WINESKINS. 
And when NEW WINE is put into NEW WINESKINS, both are preserved, and nothing is ruined or lost over time through use. 

“And no man putteth NEW WINE into OLD BOTTLES: else the NEW WINE doth burst the BOTTLES, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but NEW WINE must be put into NEW BOTTLES” Mark 2:22. 

Also, the phrase ‘OLD WINE in a NEW BOTTLE’ is an idiomatic expression used in context. 
It indicates and reflects that an OLD concept or institution is being offered and presented to be accepted as though it were still good, even when it is no longer relevant or applicable in the NEW context. 

And thus, people who go about accepting and following such concepts are held in bondage and dogma due to ignorance — the lack of knowledge and understanding of the truth. 

And the TRUTH is the expression of the WORD of God in Christ Jesus. 
For Christ Jesus Himself is both THE WORD and THE TRUTH.  

“As he spake these words, many BELIEVED on him. 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which BELIEVED on him, If ye CONTINUE IN MY WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 and ye shall KNOW THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE” John 8:39-32 

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” John 14:6. 

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, THE WORD, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” 1 John 5:7. 

And there are two things that are very clear to me in this concept and context above, which I will expound in detail in future posts. They are these: 

  • The Continuous Use of the Old Testament Context 
    That which has already been done away with is being used to legislate and justify practices, to make it appear as though it is still tangible and relevant for now — when it ought not to be accommodated or accepted at all. 
    Knowing in REDEMPTION that Christ Jesus has already fulfilled such context for the saints — the Believers of God — in His stead. 
    [John 1:45; Luke 24:25-27, 44-46; Hebrews 1:1-4; Hebrews 12:2; Romans 10:1-4; Matthew 22:38-46; Matthew 16:13-20] 
  • The New Wine — who is the Blessed Holy Spirit 
    He is ONLY and PURELY meant and made available to the Believers [the New Creation] in Christ Jesus and not given to the world — the unbelieving ones toward God and Christ Jesus. 
    Acts 20:20-21; John 14:16-17 

This therefore means that SALVATION is the only opportunity made available to all in the world, and not the Holy Spirit. 
Receiving the Holy Spirit is only made possible after one has received the Gospel of Salvation in Christ Jesus. 
Anything else is perversion, counterfeit, adulteration, delusion and falsehood. 
[John 14:15-17; John 7:37-39; Luke 11:9-11; Acts 1:5, 8; Acts 2:1-13; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 19:1-7] 

The New Wine speaks of the Holy Spirit. 
And besides being God in the Godhead and Trinity, and given to lead the Believers in Christ Jesus in all things throughout humanity, He is also given to gladden the hearts of the Believers in Christ Jesus’s stead. 

Hence, part of His character is that of the Believers’ Comforter — if you recall that in the Scriptures, Christ Jesus did promise and assure the Believers in Him that He would send them the promised Comforter. 
He called Him the Promise of the Father; and that Promise has already been fulfilled and is available for all to access after salvation, without prejudice or dissimulation, and indeed irrespective of person. 
[John 14:15-17; Romans 5:5; Psalms 104:15; Joel 2:19, 28-29] 

The earliest Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ were instructed to assemble by our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, as recorded in Acts 1:5, 8. 
This was in order for them to receive the Promise of the Father God in Joel 2:19, 28-29 — and not limited to them — as emphasised by our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus in John 7:37-39 and Luke 24:49. 
This pertains to receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. 

And as they obeyed that instruction, just as they were told, it came to pass as written in Acts 2:1-13, that they received the Promise of God — which is for all, even until this day, and until the Lord returns — for all who will believe on the saving grace in Christ Jesus’s stead. 

Those who observed and witnessed the Apostles in this unique and blessed manifestation, which is attributed to a PENTECOST experience, described the Apostles in their acts and experiences as people drunk with NEW WINE. 
And indeed, they were drunk — with NEW WINE: the HOLY SPIRIT of promise. 

It is upon such uniqueness that the Apostle Paul drew a comparison to the drunken effect that people experience from ordinary wine, while he admonishes the Ephesian Church to rather be filled with the Holy Spirit, in order to have the contrary result to mere drunkenness, as explained in the context as it is written:  

“. . . 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? 13 Others mocking said, These men are FULL of NEW WINE” Acts 2:1-13. 

“And be not DRUNK WITH WINE, wherein is excess; but be FILLED with the Spirit; 19 speaking to yourselves in PSALMS and HYMNS and SPIRITUAL SONGS, SINGING and making MELODY in your heart to the Lord; 20 GIVING THANKS always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21 SUBMITTING yourselves one to another in the fear of God” Ephesians 5:18-21. 

To be filled with the NEW WINE — the Holy Spirit — requires a NEW YOU: a NEW CREATION body for Him to dwell in. 
Otherwise, it is like putting the NEW WINE into an OLD BOTTLE — the OLD YOU, which is the unregenerate life, the unconverted life, and the unrepentant life. 

The Holy Spirit of TRUTH is set aside only for the believers in God, in Christ Jesus’s stead, and not for those in the world who have not believed in the saving grace of God in Christ Jesus. 
Amen. 

“If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may ABIDE with you for ever; 17 even the Spirit of truth; WHOM THE WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth WITH you, and shall be IN you” John 14:15-17. 

“And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have TAUGHT you publickly, and from house to house, 21 TESTIFYING both to THE JEWS, and also to THE GREEKS, REPENTANCE TOWARD God, and FAITH TOWARD our Lord Jesus Christ” Acts 20:20-21. 

I welcome you now to make yourself available to God in Christ Jesus, to become a New Creation in order to access the New Wine that will make all the difference — in God, in Christ Jesus’s stead. Amen.  

THE NEW WINE – ONLY ON A NEW YOU – TO MAKE A NEW CREATION YOU – TO LIVE IN POSSIBILITY

FURTHER SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us” Romans 5:5. 

“And WINE that maketh GLAD the heart of man, and OIL to make his face to SHINE, and BREAD which STRENGTHENETH man’s heart” Psalms 104:15. 

“Yea, the Lord will ANSWER and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you CORN, and WINE, and OIL, and ye shall be SATISFIED therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen . . . 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will POUR out my spirit upon ALL flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit” Joel 2:19, 28-29. 

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, IF ANY MAN THIRST, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that BELIEVETH on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which THEY THAT BELIEVE ON HIM SHOULD RECEIVE: for the Holy Ghost was NOT YET GIVEN; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)” John 7:37-39.

“Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom moses in the law, and THE PROPHETS, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph” John 1:45. 

“Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that THE PROPHETS have spoken: 26 ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at MOSES and all THE PROPHETS, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself . . . 44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in THE LAW OF MOSES, and in THE PROPHETS, and in THE PSALMS, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their UNDERSTANDING, that they might UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES, 46 and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day” Luke 24:25-27, 44-46. 

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in TIME PAST unto the fathers by the PROPHETS, 2 hath in these LAST DAYS spoken unto us by HIS Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they” Hebrews 1:1-4. 

“Looking unto Jesus the AUTHOR and FINISHER of our FAITH; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” Hebrews 12:2. 

“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being IGNORANT of God’s righteousness, and going about to ESTABLISH THEIR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the END OF THE LAW FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS to every one that believeth” Romans 10:1-4. 

“In the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not . . . 14 And THE WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and TRUTH” John 1:1-5, 14. 

SUMMARY: 
This message is a doctrinal teaching centred on Mark 2:22 — “New Wine in New Wineskins”, and its application to the believer’s life in Christ Jesus. 

  1. THE FOUNDATION: NEW CREATION IN CHRIST

The entire teaching rests on 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Galatians 6:14-15: 
When a person is in Christ, he becomes a NEW CREATION. Old things pass away. The Cross crucifies us to the world and the world to us. In Christ, religious rituals like circumcision do not matter — only A NEW CREATION does. 
Therefore, God’s plan is not to patch the old life, but to make all things new. 

  1. THE PARABLE EXPLAINED: NEW WINE AND NEW WINESKINS — MARK 2:22

In Christ Jesus’s day, wine was stored in animal skins. 

  • OLD WINESKIN [OLD BOTTLE]: Already stretched and rigid. It cannot expand. 
  • NEW WINE: Ferments and produces gas. It requires something flexible that can stretch. 

If you put NEW WINE into an OLD WINESKIN, the pressure will cause it to burst. Both the wine and the skin will be ruined. 
Application: NEW WINE must go into NEW WINESKINS so that both are preserved.  

  1. THE WARNING: “OLD WINE IN A NEW BOTTLE”

This is used idiomatically to describe when an OLD concept or institution from the Old Testament is repackaged and presented as if it is still relevant for today. 
People who accept this are kept in bondage and dogma through ignorance — a lack of knowledge of THE TRUTH, which is the WORD of God expressed in Christ Jesus. 
Christ Himself is THE WORD and THE TRUTH [John 14:6, 1 John 5:7].  

  1. TWO KEY CLARIFICATIONS MADE IN THE MESSAGE
    The Continuous Use of the Old Testament Context
    That which Christ has already fulfilled is being used to legislate Christian practice today. This ought not to be.
    In REDEMPTION, Christ has fulfilled the Law, the Prophets and the Psalms for the Believers of God [Luke 24:44-46, Hebrews 1:1-4, Romans 10:4]. 
    We are no longer under the Old Covenant system.
    The New Wine — Who is the Blessed Holy Spirit
    The NEW WINErepresents the Holy Spirit. 
    He is ONLY and PURELY given to the Believers [the New Creation] in Christ Jesus, not to the world [John 14:16-17]. 
    This means: 
  • SALVATION is offered to all in the world. 
  • The Holy Spirit is received after one believes the Gospel of Salvation. 
    Anything else is perversion, counterfeit, adulteration and falsehood. 
  1. THE CHARACTER AND WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT — THE NEW WINE

The Holy Spirit is God in the Godhead and Trinity. His work includes: 

Leading Believers in all things throughout humanity 
Gladdening the hearts of Believers [Psalm 104:15] 
Being the Believers’ Comforter — the Promise of the Father already fulfilled [John 14:15-17] 

The Apostles were instructed to wait in Jerusalem [Acts 1:5,8] to receive this Promise prophesied in Joel 2:28-29. When they obeyed, on the day of PENTECOST [Acts 2:1-13], they were filled and people said, “These men are FULL of NEW WINE.” 
This is why Apostle Paul admonishes the Ephesian Church: “Be not DRUNK WITH WINE… but be FILLED with the Spirit” [Ephesians 5:18-21] — resulting in psalms, hymns, thanksgiving and submission. 

  1. THE REQUIREMENT: A NEW YOU FOR THE NEW WINE

To be filled with the NEW WINE, the Holy Spirit, you must be a NEW YOU — a NEW CREATION body for Him to dwell in. 
To put the New Wine into an OLD YOU — the unregenerate, unconverted, unrepentant life — is to invite ruin, just like old bottles. 
The Holy Spirit of TRUTH is set aside only for those who have believed in the saving grace of God in Christ Jesus. The world cannot receive Him [John 14:17]. 

  1. THE INVITATION AND CHARGE

The message closes with an altar call: 
“I welcome you now to make yourself available to God in Christ Jesus, to become a New Creation in order to access the New Wine that will make all the difference — in God, in Christ Jesus’s stead. Amen.” 

It ends with supporting scriptures on the Holy Spirit being GIVEN [Romans 5:5], God POURING OUT His Spirit [Joel 2:28-29], and Christ as the fulfilment of THE LAW, THE PROPHETS, AND THE PSALMS. 

CORE CONCLUSION 
You cannot carry the NEW WINE of the Holy Spirit in the OLD YOU. 
Redemption demands a NEW CREATION. Salvation comes first, then the infilling of the Holy Spirit. 
To live in the possibility realm in the grace is to live as a New Creation, filled with the New Wine, walking in the Truth of the Word.

COMMUNICATING THE TRUTH: IT’S COMMUNICATING THE WORD! 

“As he spake these words, many BELIEVED on him. 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which BELIEVED on him, If ye CONTINUE in MY WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And you shall know THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH shall MAKE you FREE” John 8:30-32. 

“Jesus saith unto him, I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” John 14:6. 

A mere act of being religious, ceremonious, sectarian and relying on motivational positive-thinking words and comfort from a religiosity-speaking dogma – whose intentions may momentarily make one feel good, excited, and enthusiastic toward one’s desires for a while – just know that it cannot LIBERATE one, neither can it give one the GENUINE, in-born FREEDOM of the FAITH on ‘THE TRUTH’. For the TRUTH is only possible in God’s WORD and it is stationed in the human spirit where the FAITH to daily victory and triumph can be exercised in the grace.  

For you are born of God, it’s needful to COMMUNICATE THE TRUTH in context – and the TRUTH is THE WORD and, in THE WORD, and it is efficacious in the now and always, as you enact it scripturally to be well and whole in LIFE and GODLINESS – GODLY LIVING. 

“In the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made. 4 In HIM was life; and THE LIFE was THE LIGHT of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not . . .14 And THE WORD was made FLESH, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John 1:1-5, 14. 

Communication could be verbal or in action, through any format of reaching out to meet matters for self or others about us. When you communicate THE WORDS of this life, as the Holy writ of Acts 5:20 enjoins, we are to speak ‘THE TRUTH’ – not just TRUTH. For only ‘THE TRUTH’ known, believed, and spoken forth can SET one FREE and bring forth the LIBERATION, TRIUMPH, VICTORY and such like – that one needs to do and live life effectually and efficiently in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

“Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people, all The WORDS of this life” Acts 5:20. 

“That the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become EFFECTUAL [PRODUCTIVE , RESULTS ORIENTED] by the ACKNOWLEDGING of every GOOD thing which is IN you IN Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6. 

THE TRUTH, which is THE WORD, is spirit and life; and hence, a life-giver and life-giving, when communicated in TRUTH, as the Holy Writ indicates – John 6:63. More so, the Ministering spirits – the Angelic messengers – of our God unto us, only LISTEN or HARKEN to ‘THE VOICE OF THE WORD’ and nothing else, in carrying out their angelic services concerning us and all.  

They are not in the ministering service to listen to the noise and shouting around, except to THE WORD that personifies THE TRUTH. So, communicate THE TRUTH, THE WORD, if you want to enjoy the angelic ministry of God in our time as enjoined Scripturally. 

“And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire . . . 14 Are they not all MINISTERING spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be HEIRS of salvation?” Hebrews 1:7, 14. 

“Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that DO His commandments HEARKENING unto the VOICE OF HIS WORD” Psalms 103:20. 

When you communicate THE WORD, which is THE TRUTH, you are communicating JESUS personified. He is THE TRUTH, and He is THE WORD.  

The article ‘THE’ in the context “THE WORD, THE TRUTH, personified Jesus. And what that means is this – that what Jesus Christ would have done presently and physically if He were in humanity before you right now, is what THE WORD, THE TRUTH will and would do for you NOW and ALWAYS, as Him present with you. THINK ABOUT IT. 

“Jesus Christ the SAME yesterday, and today, and for ever” Hebrews 13:8. 

That’s the reason: when you read the Holy Bible, don’t read it as you would read any other book, because the Holy Spirit, the author, is ever present, to personify the Scriptures literally for your good in doing LIFE and LIVING GODLY in Christ Jesus’ stead.  

You are to read the Bible in the FACE of JESUS personified in your inner being, to enable you to AUTHENTICATE and ENACT the SCRIPTURES. Otherwise, you will only be filled with passion and knowledge of ‘THE WORD’, without having the UNDERSTANDING of the application that brings about the needed ‘THE TRUTH’ to make life simplified. John 1:1-5, 14; 1 John 5:7; John 14:6; John 8:32. 

And the TRUTH must be communicated in love – I mean in the LOVE of God in Christ Jesus, in the essence of the Holy Spirit of TRUTH that’s given to us in the grace. Speaking the TRUTH – otherwise, communicating the TRUTH, in love ist the basis of our foundational and fundamental principles of the Faith in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

“But, SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN LOVE, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the EDIFYING of itself in love” Ephesians 4:15-16. 

“. . . 13 However, when He, the Spirit of TRUTH, has come, He will GUIDE you into ALL TRUTH; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will GLORIFY Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you . . .” John 16:12-15 [John 15:26; John 14:17]. 

Know full well, that it is only by “THE TRUTH” – one’s knowledge of “THE WORD” – that SETS one FREE; and that also GIVES one the needed freedom and LIBERATION from destruction and HEALING in every facet of one’s being in Christ Jesus’ stead. The TRUTH gives THE LIFE needed to thrive in God in Christ Jesus, gives THE LIGHT to illuminate one from the errors of darkness and the darkness of life; and shows one THE WAY and THE PATH of God in Christ Jesus, to do life and live godly, in order to enjoy the very best and FULNESS of God. Psalms 16:11; Proverbs 4:18; John 1:1-5. 

And the FAITH to overcome the world system comes by THE WORD. Meaning, a no to THE WORD, means a no to FAITH, because there’s a no to THE TRUTH, which is needed to communicate to the HEAVENLY for our EARTHLY affairs to be resolved SCRIPTURALLY. Romans 10:17; 1 John 5:3-5. It worth pondering if I were you. 

Just know today and always, that – communicating THE TRUTH, is about communicating THE WORD, leading to knowing THE WAY and experiencing THE LIGHT. Hence, there is the NEED to know and understand – ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LIFE.

The entire message is a prophetic, doctrinal decree built on one central thesis: THE TRUTH = THE WORD = JESUS Personified. Everything flows from that. Here’s the breakdown in 7 pillars: 

  1. THE FOUNDATION: THE TRUTH IS THE WORD, WHICH IS JESUS
    You establish that communicating THE TRUTH is not religious talk, but communicating THE WORD [John 8:30-32]. 
  • John 14:6: Jesus IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE. No access to the Father outside Him. 
  • John 1:1-5, 14: THE WORD was with God, was God, made all things, and was made FLESH. In Him is LIFE and LIGHT. 
  • 1 John 5:7: The Father, THE WORD, and the Holy Ghost are one. 
  • Point: When you speak *THE WORD/TRUTH, you are speaking Jesus Himself — the same yesterday, today, forever [Hebrews 13:8]. 
  1. THEFUNCTION: WHAT THE TRUTH/WORD DOES
    THE TRUTH of THE WORD is not theory. It produces: 
    FREEDOM & LIBERATION — “THE TRUTH shall MAKE you FREE” from destruction [John 8:32]. 
    HEALING in every facet of one’s being in Christ Jesus’ stead. 
    LIFE, LIGHT, WAY, PATH — To thrive in God, be illuminated from darkness, and walk godly to enjoy God’s FULNESS [Psalms 16:11; Proverbs 4:18; John 1:4-5]. 
    FAITH FOR VICTORY — “FAITH to overcome the world system comes by THE WORD” [Romans 10:17; 1 John 5:3-5]. A no to THE WORD = a no to FAITH = a no to THE TRUTH = no access to resolve EARTHLY affairs from the HEAVENLY realm. 
  1. THE CONTRAST: NOT RELIGION, BUT REVELATION
    You draw a hard line: Religious, ceremonious, sectarian, or motivational “feel-good” dogma cannot LIBERATE or give GENUINE, in-born FREEDOM.
    THE TRUTH is only possible in God’s WORD, stationed in the human spirit where FAITH for daily victory is exercised in grace. It’s not emotion. It’s SCRIPTURAL ENACTMENT. 
  1. THE MANDATE: COMMUNICATE ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LIFE 
  • Acts 5:20: “Go, stand and speak… all The WORDS of this life.” 
  • Philemon 1:6: The COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH becomes EFFECTUAL/PRODUCTIVE by acknowledging every good thing IN you IN Christ Jesus. 
  • Point: Communication is verbal OR action. The command is to speak ‘THE TRUTH’ — not just truth. Only ‘THE TRUTH’ known, believed, and spoken brings *LIBERATION, TRIUMPH, VICTORY [John 6:63]. 
  1. THE SUPERNATURAL PARTNERSHIP: ANGELS HEARKEN TO THE WORD
    A key revelation: Ministering spirits [Hebrews 1:7, 14] do not respond to “noise and shouting.” They HEARKEN only to THE VOICE OF HIS WORD [Psalms 103:20].
    Implication: If you want angelic ministry, communicate THE WORD/TRUTH. That is the legal sound heaven responds to. 
  1. THE POSTURE: RECEIVE THE WORD AS JESUS PRESENT
    You must not read the Bible like any other book. The Holy Spirit is present to personify the Scriptures to you. Read in the FACE OF JESUS in your inner being to AUTHENTICATE and ENACT the Scriptures.
    Knowledge without understanding/application only produces passion, not THE TRUTH that simplifies life. 
  1. THE ATMOSPHERE: SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN LOVE
    Ephesians 4:15-16: The basis of faith is SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN LOVE — by the Holy Spirit of TRUTH [John 16:12-15]. This produces growth, edification, and the body functioning in Christ.  

THE FINAL CHARGE / SELAH 

“Know full well… Just know today and always… It’s worth pondering if I were you.” 
SELAH — PAUSE AND THINK: The Scriptures you stacked [Acts 5:20; John 8:30-32; John 14:6; Psalms 107:20; Romans 5:1-2; Hebrews 11:6; Habakkuk 2:4] all point to one demand: Know, believe, speak, and live THE WORD/THE TRUTH to be well, whole, free, and victorious in LIFE and GODLINESS. 

In one sentence: You are calling believers to stop at religious noise and start communicating THE WORD, which is THE TRUTH and JESUS Himself, because only that brings faith, freedom, healing, angelic help, and godly life.

TRIUMPHING OVER THE EFFECT OF LIVING IN THE FLESH [THE FIVE SENSES]: THE LUST OF THE FLESH – THE LUST OF THE EYES – AND THE PRIDE OF LIFE! 

“From whence come WARS and FIGHTINGS among you? come they not hence, even of your LUSTS that WAR in your MEMBERS? 2 Ye LUST, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may CONSUME it upon your LUSTS” James 4:1-3. 

Knowingly or unknowingly, TRIUMPH and TRIUMPHING is a default DONE DEED for every believing child of God in Christ Jesus’ stead. However, its operation in the Believer’s life depends on the individual to make it happen within the pure context of the given redemption rights and privileges, and not elsewhere.  

“Now thanks be unto God, WHICH ALWAYS CAUSETH US TO TRIUMPH IN CHRIST, and maketh manifest the SAVOUR of his knowledge by us in EVERY PLACE” 2 Corinthians 2:24. 

And Scripture wants every Believer in Christ Jesus to LIVE and WALK in the SPIRIT of TRIUMPH, so that they can mortify [crucify] – that’s to put to death – the lusts and affections of the FLESH – the FIVE SENSES [SEE, HEAR, TASTE, SMELL, TOUCH/FEEL]. Otherwise, there will be wars and infighting within oneself due to wanting desires born through cravings of a lustful spirit not ruled, governed, controlled, and led by the TRIUMPH Spirit of dominion. 

“This I say then, WALK in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh . . . 24 And they that are Christ’s have CRUCIFIED the flesh with the AFFECTIONS and LUSTS. 25 If we LIVE in the Spirit, let us also WALK in the Spirit” Galatians 5:16, 24-25.

The scriptural context indicates we need to live within the sphere of the Holy Spirit’s leads and guides, and by the context of God’s WORD, through our human spirit [Proverbs 20:27; Job 32:8; Job 33:4; Genesis 2:7]. This makes one a spirit or spiritual being – a sphere to live TRIUMPHANTLY, far above just being human, but as a supernatural being. The human spirit empowered by the indwelling Holy Spirit indicates the Super Spirit of God meets the natural [human] spirit – making the SUPERNATURAL. 

You are created as a BEING. There’s no vacuum to reach out to God, be in God, or be with God in the Kingdom cause to exercise your place as a BEING of God. God operates through His WORD, and not in a vacuum.  You can’t do astral travel or astral projection with God as some may – doing so, you only contact demons, not the God of REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus. FAITH in God is the mystery of COMMUNICATION to God through His WORD as a BEING – that’s the only possible channel to exercise the sphere of a BEING. FAITH is the results from HEARING the WORD of God. Through FAITH communication, we ensure the assured redemption deed of Christ Jesus in us. 

“So then FAITH cometh by HEARING, and HEARING BY THE WORD of God” Romans 10:17. 

“Holding the MYSTERY of the FAITH in a PURE conscience” 1 Timothy 3:9. 

“That the COMMUNICATION OF THY FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the ACKNOWLEDGING of every GOOD THING which is IN you IN Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6. 

So, there’s a need to FELLOWSHIP with God to enhance the RELATIONSHIP with God, because in God, there’s no place for a VACUUM. This indicates that you can’t commune with God outside His WORD; otherwise, satanic interference occurs – demons occupy vacuum hearts not filled with God’s word [Matthew 12:43-45].  Communing with God is about LIVING and WALKING in the Spirit – which is your human spirit – and in the truth – [the Word of God] 

“When the UNCLEAN SPIRIT is gone out of a man, he WALKETH through DRY PLACES, SEEKING REST, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it EMPTY, SWEPT, and GARNISHED. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more WICKED than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the LAST state of that man is WORSE than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation” Matthew 12:43-45. 

“The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the placOUmen ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” John 4:19-24. 

The consequential problems of living outside the sphere of the Spirit’s leads and guides, is living and walking in the FLESH – in the sphere of FIVE SENSES which are these: 

  • HEAR/HEARING 
  • SEE/SEEING 
  • TASTE/TASTING 
  • SMELL/SMELLING 
  • FEEL/TOUCH [FEELING/TOUCHING] 

Sadly, there are EFFECTS of living in the sphere of the FLESH – FIVE SENSE. These EFFECTS are as written and experienced in the Scriptures which are of these [Genesis 3:1-6; Luke 4:1-13; 1 John 2:15-17]: 

  • The LUST of the EYES 
  • The LUST of the FLESH 
  • The PRIDE of LIFE 

These EFFECTS showed up with Mrs. Eve and Mr. Adam at EDEN, where they fell out in Faith [God’s WORD] with God. [Genesis 3:1-7]. 

These EFFECTS showed up again before Jesus during His Holy Spirit -led fasting and praying at the TEMPTATION mountain. Satan was DEFEATED with his flesh [fleshy] Introductory scheme by the WORD of God that Christ Jesus utilised by Holy Spirit’s lead. [Luke 4:1-13]. 

Sadly, these EFFECTS are still at work, with satan and cohorts looking for who will fall to its sword [1 Peter 5:8-9]. Will you let it take root in you like many have? I hope not. 

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the LUST of the FLESH, and the LUST of the EYES, and the PRIDE of LIFE, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever” 1 John 2:15-17. 

“Be SOBER, be VIGILANT; because your ADVERSARY the DEVIL, as a ROARING lion, WALKETH about, SEEKING whom he may DEVOUR: 9 whom RESIST STEDFAST IN THE FAITH, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you” 1 Peter 5:8-10. 

Unlike Eve and Adam, Jesus TRIUMPHED over these five senses EFFECTS by the simple statement – “IT IS WRITTEN”. Meaning, The WORD TRIUMPHs, and NO WORD means NO TRIUMPH but DEFEAT, FAILURES, and REGRETS; and anything outside the WORD is Magic, Sorcery, Traditional belief, dogmas, falsehoods, adulteration, Man-made make-belief’s, denominational indoctrination, by-law and creeds, and such like. 

Therefore, lets TRIUMPH, by LIVING and WALKING in the Spirit through the WORD of God, that we might not fulfill the DESIRES, DEEDS, and EFFECTS of the FLESH through lust.

The five senses (SEE, HEAR, TASTE, SMELL, TOUCH/FEEL) can lead to lust, wars, and infighting within oneself if not governed by the Spirit.

  • Believers are created as BEINGS, not to be in a vacuum, but to operate in God’s Word

IT’S YOUR CHOICE TO DECIDE – TO EITHER HAVE ‘THE’ LIFE OR HAVE ‘A’ LIFE: YOUR CHOICE TO WISE UP FOR ‘THE’ FULNESS OF LIFE NOT FOR ‘A’ PORTION AND ‘A’ PART OF LIFE! 

“Jesus saith unto him, I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” John 14:6. 

Many times, you hear people or someone say – Get ‘A’ Life instead of saying get ‘THE’ life – that will enable you in doing life [earthly-ward] and live godly [heavenly-ward]. Most times the connotations – to get ‘A’ Life instead of to get ‘THE’ Life – is to make you get out of your high horse and do something meaningful or exciting or get engaged with the norm that’s around at the moment or the combinations of all and such like. 

I want you to know of a certainty, that, to get ‘A’ life will limit you as a child of God, I can say that and tell you that because I know and understand the connotations as I have seen it played around people for no complete good despite the intention; because it only thus indicates you getting A PART or PORTION out of the FULNESS of God for you in Christ Jesus. Know full well that you are REDEEMED for the FULL deal of LIFE and not for A PART OR LIMITED deal of LIFE in Christ Jesus. So you need to get “THE LIFE” and not “A LIFE”, as God promised to show us THE PATH OF LIFE and not A PART LIFE, if we must enjoy His presence for the fulness of Joy and stand at the right hand of His righteousness, for an ever more pleasure of His grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

And THE LIFE is a person; that’s THE LIFE and THE LIGHT of men in the person of our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus; and who then is THE WORD of God for our well-being. So, don’t just get A LIFE, but get THE LIFE in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

It’s time to Get ‘THE’ LIFE and not ‘A’ LIFE my friend. God wants you to have the FULNESS of life which is in Christ Jesus. What God offers in Christ Jesus is THE LIFE and not  ‘A’ LIFE. The Holy Writ do admonish and exhort that Jesus is the – ‘THE’ LIFE giver, not the – ‘A’ LIFE giver, which is toward DOING LIFE on earth and LIVING GODLY toward the heavenly. Look at the article ‘THE’ in the scriptural context of John 14:6, it says – ‘THE’ LIFE not ‘A’ LIFE. It thus indicates that the FULNESS is in Christ Jesus who offers THE LIFE and not A PART OR PORTION you get when propel by people to – GET ‘A’ LIFE. 

This is to affirm also the Christian Faith is LIFE – THE LIFE – that is offered in the REDEMPTION OFFERING of the person of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ; and He is not just A WAY of LIFE as some may have said or suggested as in religious circus, but the WAY of life. Meaning, He’s both THE WAY and THE LIFE, as THE TRUTH, and not of the five senses mindset of Him being described as just A WAY, A LIFE and A TRUTH, which many have been deluded with over time in COMMON sense and not in the SCRIPTURAL sense. 

“Jesus saith unto him, I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” John 14:6. 

“For whatsoever things were WRITTEN aforetime were WRITTEN for our LEARNING, that we through PATIENCE and COMFORT of the SCRIPTURES might have HOPE” Romans 15:4. 

You can infer this same insight to matter of Jesus Christ as – THE WAY and THE TRUTH in matters of the CHRISTIAN FAITH in Christ Jesus. That the Christian FAITH is not as some claimed to be one of many as – ‘A’ WAY or ‘A’ TRUTH to Father God, but that, the Christian Faith is of Christ Jesus who is ‘THE’ WAY and ‘THE’ TRUTH and ‘THE’ LIFE indeed. And it’s ONLY by Him ‘THE’ TRUTH and ‘THE’ WAY, that one can obtain SCRIPTURAL FREEDOM that is WHOLESOME indeed, and not by ‘A’ TRUTH or ‘A’ WAY that people conjure in religion and religious spheres. It’s upon this understanding, that the early Apostles where attributed as people of heresy and were persecuted as conveyor’s of heresy, as they were then nicknamed as people of – “THE’ WAY” and not of “A’ WAY” – in the earlier Disciples and Apostolic Christian walk in Christ Jesus stead. 

“But this I confess unto thee, that after THE WAY which they CALL HERESY, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets” Acts 24:14. 

I pray as you ponder meditatively you will get insight and foresight to the realm of the enabling that God offers in THE LIFE in Christ Jesus stead for your good and goodness in His grace and BLESSEDNESS. Amen.

THE WORD OF GOD: THE LIFE & LIVING GRACE OF THE SPIRIT BEING!

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall NOT LIVE by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” Matthew 4:4 [Luke 4:4].

Feed the man in your hu-man spirit, for you ARE a spirit-being having a soul and lives in body. Your definition is in your spirit being because it’s eternal. It gives life to your soul and being from the heavenly to make you have a living worth that’s godly and divinely link.

Therefore, synchronise your whole [total, complete] being of spirit, soul and body by THE WORD of God, for your now, today and tomorrow in the grace.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“For THE WORD of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” Hebrews 4:12-13.

THE NEW WINE – ONLY ON A NEW YOU: TO MAKE A NEW CREATION YOU – TO LIVE IN POSSIBILITY!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is A NEW CREATION; old things have passed away; behold, all things have BECOME NEW” 2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV.

“But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For in Christ Jesus NEITHER CIRCUMCISION NOR UNCIRCUMCISION AVAILS ANYTHING, but A NEW CREATION” Galatians 6:14-15 NKJV.

Have you ever wondered why our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, made this scriptural context statement in the Gospel of Mark 2:22, while in humanity?

“And no man putteth NEW WINE into OLD BOTTLES: else the NEW WINE doth burst the BOTTLES, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but NEW WINE must be put into NEW BOTTLES” Mark 2:22.

Just to update your knowledge if you don’t know as some have reasoned. It must be noted that in our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus’s day in humanity, people used animal skins-like goatskin for storing liquids. And fermented drinks like wine expands, and since an OLD WINESKIN would’ve already been stretched to its limit, the NEW WINE would tear the seams. It’s thus means that an OLD WINESKIN (OLD BOTTLE) will not stretch, yield, and respond to the gas pressure developed by the fermenting wine; and because the OLD BOTTLE will not stretch, it will just explode – which means, that both the OLD BOTTLE and WINE will be ruined and lost eventually. That’s a pure reason why a NEW WINE needs to be put into NEW BOTTLES. And when a NEW WINE is put into NEW WINESKINS (NEW BOTTLES), both are preserved, and nothing can be ruined and lost in course of time of use.

Also, the essence of the OLD WINE in a NEW BOTTLE is an idiomatic expression in context. It’s indicating and reflecting an OLD existing concept or institution is being offered and applied to be accepted as though it were still good, even when it’s not relevant and applicable in the NEW context. And thus, people who goes accepting and following such concept, are held in bondages and dogmas due to ignorance – the lack of the knowledge and understanding, of the truth – and the TRUTH being of the fact expression on the WORD of God in Christ Jesus stead, and for which Christ Jesus is both THE WORD and THE TRUTH.

“As he spake these words, many BELIEVED on him. 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which BELIEVED on him, If ye CONTINUE IN MY WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 and ye shall KNOW THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE” John 8:39-32

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” John 14:6.

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, THE WORD, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” 1 John 5:7.

And there are two things that are very cleared to me in this concept and context above that I will expatiate in detail in the future posts which are these:

  1. The continuous use of the Old Testament context, that’s already done away with, to legislate and justify things being practice to make it appears as if it’s still tangible and relevant for the now, when that ought not to be accommodated and accepted at all, knowing in REDEMPTION that Christ Jesus had already fulfilled such context for the saints (Believer’s of God) in His stead. [John 1:45; Luke 24:25-27, 44-46; Hebrews 1:1-4; Hebrews 12:2; Romans 10:1-4; Matthew 22:38-46; Matthew 16:13-20].
  2. Another thought thus indicate that the New Wine – who is the Blessed Holy Spirit, is ONLY and PURELY meant and made available to the Believer’s (New Creation) in Christ Jesus and not given to the world (unbelieving one’s toward God and Christ Jesus) – Acts 20:20-21. This thus means that SALVATION access is the only opportunity available to all in the world and not the Holy Spirit. And receiving the Holy Spirit is only made possible after one had received the Salvation gospel in Christ Jesus, and anything else otherwise it’s perversion, counterfeit, adulteration, delusions and falsehoods. [John 14:15-17; John 7:37-39; Luke 11:9-11; Acts 1:5, 8; Acts 2:1-13; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 19:1-7]

The New Wine speaks of the Holy Spirit; and besides being a Godhead in trinity, and to lead the Believer’s in Christ Jesus in all through humanity, He’s also given to gladden the hearts of the Believer’s in Christ Jesus stead. Hence part of His characteristics is the believing ones comforter – if you recall that in the scripture, that Christ Jesus did promised and assured the Believer’s in Him of sending them the promised comforter. He called Him the promised of the Father; and that promised had already been fulfilled and available for all to access after salvation without prejudice and dissimulation (hypocrisy) and of course irrespective. [John 14:15-17; Romans 5:5; Psalms 104:15; Joel 2:19, 28-29]

The earliest Apostle’s of our Lord Jesus Christ where made to assemble by the instructions given to them by our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, as in the context of Acts 1:5, 8. This is in order for them to receive the promise of the Father God in Joel 2:19, 28-29 and not limited, as emphasis by our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus in John 7:37-39 and Luke 24:49. This is in respect and pertaining to receiving the Holy Spirit baptism.

And as they obeyed that instructions as they were fully told, it eventually came to pass as written in Acts 2:1-13, that they eventually received the promised of God to them; which is to all till this day until the Lord returns to all, who will believe on the saving grace in Christ Jesus stead. Those who observed and witnessed the Apostles in this uniquely and blessed manifestation which is attributed to a PENTECOST experience, call the Apostles in the acts and experiences, as a people drunk with a NEW WINE. And of course, they were drunk indeed with a NEW WINE – The HOLY SPIRIT of promise.

It’s upon such uniqueness that Apostle Paul draw out a comparison to the drunkenness effect that people do experience from an ordinary WINE while he admonishes the Ephesians Church to see the need to be also drunk rather with the Holy Spirit in order to have the otherwise contrary results from a mere drunkenness as explained in the context as it’s written:

“. . . 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? 13 Others mocking said, These men are FULL of NEW WINE” Acts 2:1-13.

“And be not DRUNK WITH WINE, wherein is excess; but be FILLED with the Spirit; 19 speaking to yourselves in PSALMS and HYMNS and SPIRITUAL SONGS, SINGING and making MELODY in your heart to the Lord; 20 GIVING THANKS always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21 SUBMITTING yourselves one to another in the fear of God” Ephesians 5:18-21.

To being filled with the NEW WINE, the Holy Spirit, requires a NEW YOU, a NEW CREATION body to dwell therein. Otherwise, it’s like putting the NEW WINE in an OLD BOTTLE – the OLD YOU, which is the unregenerate life, unconverted life, and unrepentant life. The Holy Spirit of TRUTH is only set aside for the believing ones of God in Christ Jesus stead and not for those in the world that have not believe in the saving grace of God in Christ Jesus. Amen.

“If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may ABIDE with you for ever; 17 even the Spirit of truth; WHOM THE WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth WITH you, and shall be IN you” John 14:15-17.

“And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have TAUGHT you publickly, and from house to house, 21 TESTIFYING both to THE JEWS, and also to THE GREEKS, REPENTANCE TOWARD God, and FAITH TOWARD our Lord Jesus Christ” Acts 20:20-21.

I welcome you now to make yourself available to God in Christ Jesus, to become a New Creation in order to access the New Wine that will make all the difference in God, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us” Romans 5:5.

“And WINE that maketh GLAD the heart of man, and OIL to make his face to SHINE, and BREAD which STRENGTHENETH man’s heart” Psalms 104:15.

“Yea, the Lord will ANSWER and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you CORN, and WINE, and OIL, and ye shall be SATISFIED therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen . . . 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will POUR out my spirit upon ALL flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit” Joel 2:19, 28-29.

COMMUNICATING THE TRUTH

COMMUNICATING THE TRUTH: IT’S COMMUNICATING THE WORD!

“As he spake these words, many BELIEVED on him. 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which BELIEVED on him, If ye CONTINUE in MY WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And you shall know THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH shall MAKE you FREE” John 8:30-32.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” John 14:6.

A mere act of being religious, ceremonious, sectarian and relying on motivational positive thinking words and comfort from a religiosity speaking dogma whose intentions may momentarily make one feel good and be excited and enthusiastic toward one’s desire for a while; just know that it can’t LIBERATE one neither can it give one the GENUINE in-born FREEDOM of the FAITH on ‘THE TRUTH’; for the TRUTH is only possible in God’s WORD and stationed in the human spirit where the FAITH to daily victory and triumph can be exercised in the grace. For you are born of God, it’s needful to COMMUNICATE THE TRUTH in context – and the TRUTH is THE WORD and in THE WORD, and it’s efficacious in the now and always, as you enact it scripturally to be well and whole in LIFE and GODLINESS – GODLY LIVING.

Communication could be verbal or in action, through any formats of reaching out to meet matters for self or others about us. When you communicate THE WORDS of this life as the holy writ of Acts 5:20 suggests that we should do, that is, to speak ‘THE TRUTH’ not just TRUTH. For only ‘THE TRUTH’ known and believed and spoken forth can SET one FREE and bring forth the freedom LIBERATION, TRIUMPH, VICTORY and such like, that one needs to do and live life effectually and efficiently in Christ Jesus stead.

“Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people, all The WORDS of this life” Acts 5:20.

“That the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become EFFECTUAL [PRODUCTIVE , RESULTS ORIENTED] by the ACKNOWLEDGING of every GOOD thing which is IN you IN Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6.

THE TRUTH, which is THE WORD, is spirit and life; and hence, a life giver and life giving, when communicated in TRUTH, as the Holy Writ does indicates – John 6:63. More so, the Ministering spirits – the Angelic messengers – of our God unto us, only LISTEN or HARKEN to ‘THE VOICE OF THE WORD‘ and nothing else, in carrying out their angelic services concerning us and all. They are in the ministering services to listen to the noise and shouting around except the THE WORD that personifies THE TRUTH. So, communicate THE TRUTH, THE WORD if you wants to enjoy the angelic ministry of God in our time as enjoined Scripturally.

“And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire . . . 14 Are they not all MINISTERING spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be HEIRS of salvation?” Hebrews 1:7, 14.

“Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that DO His commandments HEARKENING unto the VOICE OF HIS WORD” Psalms 103:20.

When you communicate THE WORD, which is THE TRUTH, you are communicating JESUS personified. He is THE TRUTH, and He is THE WORD. The article ‘THE’ in the context “THE WORD, THE TRUTH, personified Jesus. And what that means is this – that what Jesus Christ, would have done presently and physically if he was in humanity before you right now, is what THE WORD, THE TRUTH will and would do for you NOW and ALWAYS, as Him present with you. THINK ABOUT IT.

“Jesus Christ the SAME yesterday, and to day, and for ever” Hebrews 13:8.

That’s the reason, when you read the Holy Bible, don’t read it as you would have read any other book, because the Holy Spirit, the author, is ever present, to personified the Scriptures literally for your good in doing LIFE and LIVING GODLY in Christ Jesus stead. You then read the Bible in the FACE of JESUS personified in your inner being to enable you AUTHENTICATE and ENACT the SCRIPTURES, otherwise, you will only be filled with passion, knowledge of ‘THE WORD’ and not having the UNDERSTANDING of the application that brings about the needed ‘THE TRUTH’ to make life simplified. John 1:1-5, 14; 1 John 5:7; John 14:6; John 8:32.

Know full well, that it is only by the “THE TRUTH” one know of “THE WORD” that SETS one FREE; and that also GIVES one the needed LIBERATION from destruction and the HEALINGS in every facets of one’s being in Christ Jesus stead. The TRUTH gives THE LIFE needed to thrive in God in Christ Jesus, gives THE LIGHT to illuminate one from the errors of darkness and the darkness of life; and shows one THE WAY and THE PATH of God in Christ Jesus, to do life and live godly, in order to enjoy the very best and fulness of God. Psalms 16:11; Proverbs 4:18; John 1:1-5.

And the FAITH to overcome the world system comes by THE WORD. Meaning, a no – THE WORD, means a no FAITH, because there’s a no – THE TRUTH, which is needed to communicate to the HEAVENLY for our EARTHLY affairs to be resolved SCRIPTURALLY. Romans 10:17; 1 John 5:3-5. It worth pondering if I were you.

Just know today and always, that – communicating THE TRUTH, is about communicating THE WORD, leading to knowing THE WAY and experiencing THE LIGHT. Hence, there is the NEED to know and understand – ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LIFE.

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED BY FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also we have ACCESS BY FAITH into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God” Romans 5:1-2.

IT’S YOUR CHOICE TO DECIDE – TO EITHER HAVE ‘THE’ LIFE OR ‘A’ LIFE: AND TO WISE UP FOR ‘THE’ FULNESS OF LIFE NOT FOR ‘A’ PORTION AND ‘A’ PART OF LIFE!

“Jesus saith unto him, I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” John 14:6.

Many times, you hear people, or someone say – Get ‘A’ Life instead of saying get ‘THE’ life – that will enable you in doing life [earthly-ward] and live godly [heavenly-ward]. Most times the connotations – to get ‘A’ Life instead of to get ‘THE’ Life – is to make you get out of your high horse and do something meaningful or exciting or get engaged with the norm that’s around at the moment or the combinations of all and such like.

I want you to know of a certainty, that, to get ‘A’ life will limits you as a child of God, I can say that and tell you that because I know and understand the connotations as I have seen it played around people for no complete good despite the intention; because it only thus indicates you getting A PART or PORTION out of the FULNESS of God for you in Christ Jesus. Know full well that you are REDEEMED for the FULL deal of LIFE and not for A PART OR LIMITED deal of LIFE in Christ Jesus. So, you need to get “THE LIFE” and not “A LIFE”, as God promised to show us THE PATH OF LIFE and not A PART LIFE, if we must enjoy His presence for the fulness of Joy and stand at the right hand of His righteousness, for an ever more pleasure of His grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

And THE LIFE is a person, that’s THE LIFE and THE LIGHT of men in the person of our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus; and who then is THE WORD of God for our well-being. So, don’t just get A LIFE, but get THE LIFE in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

It’s time to Get ‘THE’ LIFE and not ‘A’ LIFE my friend. God wants you to have the FULNESS of life which is in Christ Jesus. What God offers in Christ Jesus is THE LIFE and not an ‘A’ LIFE. The Holy Writ do admonish and exhort that Jesus is the – ‘THE’ LIFE giver, not the – ‘A’ LIFE giver, which is toward DOING LIFE on earth and LIVING GODLY toward the heavenly. Look at the article ‘THE’ in the scriptural context of John 14:6, it says – ‘THE’ LIFE not ‘A’ LIFE. It thus indicates that the FULNESS is in Christ Jesus who offers THE LIFE and not A PART OR PORTION you get when propel by people to – GET ‘A’ LIFE.

This is to affirm also the Christian Faith is LIFE – THE LIFE – that is offered in the REDEMPTION OFFERING of the person of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ; and He is not just A WAY of LIFE as some may have said or suggested as in religious circus, but the WAY  of life. Meaning, He’s both THE WAY and THE LIFE, as THE TRUTH, and not of the five senses mindset of Him being described as just A WAY, A LIFE and A TRUTH, which many have been deluded with over time in COMMON sense and not in the SCRIPTURAL sense.

“For whatsoever things were WRITTEN aforetime were WRITTEN for our LEARNING, that we through PATIENCE and COMFORT of the SCRIPTURES might have HOPE” Romans 15:4.

You can infer this same insight to matter of Jesus Christ as – THE WAY and THE TRUTH in matters of the CHRISTIAN FAITH in Christ Jesus. That the Christian FAITH is not as some claimed to be one of many as – ‘A’ WAY or ‘A’ TRUTH to Father God, but that, the Christian Faith is of Christ Jesus who is ‘THE’ WAY and ‘THE’ TRUTH and ‘THE’ LIFE indeed. And it’s ONLY by Him ‘THE’ TRUTH and ‘THE’ WAY, that one can obtain SCRIPTURAL FREEDOM that is WHOLESOME indeed, and not by ‘A’ TRUTH or ‘A’ WAY that people conjure in religion and religious spheres. It’s upon this understanding, that the early Apostles where attributed as people of heresy and were persecuted as conveyors of heresy, as they were then nicknamed as people of – “THE’ WAY” and not of “A’ WAY” – in the earlier Disciples and Apostolic Christian Walk in Christ Jesus stead.

“But this I confess unto thee, that after THE WAY which they CALL HERESY, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets” Acts 24:14.

I pray as you ponder meditatively you will get insight and foresight to the realm of the enabling that God offers in THE LIFE in Christ Jesus stead for your good and goodness in His grace and BLESSEDNESS. Amen.

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which BELIEVED on him, If ye CONTINUE in my word, then are ye my DISCIPLES indeed; 32 and ye shall know THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH shall MAKE you FREE” John 8:31-32.

“But this I confess unto thee, that after THE WAY which they CALL HERESY, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets” Acts 24:14.

“STUDY to shew thyself APPROVED unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ASHAMED, RIGHTLY DIVIDING (APPLYING) the word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15 (Emphasis Mine).
