CHURCH ARISE: THE WORLD NEEDS AN ANSWER – A SENSE OF DIRECTION IN IT’S DARKNESS!
“For this reason He says, “AWAKE, sleeper, And ARISE from the dead, And Christ will SHINE [as dawn] upon you and give you light.” 15 Therefore see that you walk carefully [living life with honor, purpose, and courage; shunning those who tolerate and enable evil], not as the unwise, but as wise [sensible, intelligent, discerning people]” Ephesians 5:14-15/Amplified.
It’s time to wake up — oh you that sleep, for God in Christ Jesus will give you light to enlighten and illuminate your world.
The question now is — can the Church arise for the good of others in humanity and for such a time of need as we face in today’s world? I mean, to the world’s challenging times everywhere today.
For we all wake up daily to hear in the news about WARS and rumours of WARS, failed governments, bad state leadership and corruption, and the various states of the hungry, the angry and hurting societies at large.
The world needs an answer — and a sense of direction in its darkness, which only the saints can provide.
“If the FOUNDATIONS [of a godly society] are destroyed, WHAT CAN THE RIGHTEOUS DO?” Psalms 11:3/Amplified.
The world is undergoing a search for identity, self-worth, discovery, and answers to certain quests, with some generations left behind. And the new generation that is springing up has a burning quest that requires an answer to many, if not all, of the problems that have befallen them in terms of: WARS, BAD GOVERNMENT, FAILED LEADERSHIP, VARIOUS PANDEMICS (SICKNESS AND DISEASES), POVERTY, EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGES, SPIRITUAL ACTUALISATION, TERRORISM, ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL MISHAP, BROKEN CIVIL AND CIVIC SOCIETY, and many such like.
The unstable state of the world from every point of the spectrum tells of a very failing society with the happenings around, especially in some quarters. And this unstable world that is now ravaged and craven with wars, hunger and climate changes has brought the greatest oppression, suppression, human hopelessness and displacement, and chaotic immigration ever experienced in modern times.
And, of course, the wars, poverty, insecurity and pandemic effects have brought greater economic instability in many parts of the world.
Could this not be a warning sign for the Church to arise in the last days and give direction to all the various factions involved?
Suffice to know that we are living in a time today with the greatest acts of hatred, racism, stigma, terrorism, economic mishaps, unsteady democracy, internal and external wars and wickedness, and such like, that have ever been known in human history and modern times.
Today, every corner of the earth cries out for an ANSWER in the various happenings in each continent, in spite of the various actions of groups united under the umbrella of the UNITED NATIONS and such like.
May I say that until leaders of all groups begin to reassess and address these crises from God’s point of view, I cannot see any acts of human endeavour, financial expenditure and investment, humanitarian demands or such like efforts that will ANSWER to the FULNESS of the QUEST, THIRST and HUNGER and CONFUSION in the human search for self-worth and discovery of being a being.
The human spirit is in crisis, seeking for an ANSWER to its QUEST that comes only from the Creator Himself. Unfortunately, men are only seeking an ANSWER to its QUEST from human leadership who cannot fathom it, just as they could not and have not — in final solution to the continuous matters that result in the often economic and financial meltdown, pandemics, wars and such like, that are now a plague in nations today.
This is why every effort of man today keeps failing, because it is a human tragedy and it requires first a DIVINE ANSWER before the PHYSICAL resolve and result can take place eventually.
Hence I say today — OH CHURCH ARISE! For you are the righteous ones — the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus’ stead — to stand for the good of humanity under heaven without sentiment, prejudice and dissimulation [2 Corinthians 5:17-21].
There is a great work to be done from our various nucleus communities, and there is no room for the folding of hands until our nations are healed as in the Bible days of old, with God’s injunction and willingness to heal the land — 2 Chronicles 7:13-15.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:
“For he hath MADE him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be MADE the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in him” 2 Corinthians 5:21.
“If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; 14 if MY PEOPLE, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place” 2 Chronicles 7:13-15.

“I will GIVE you the keys (authority) of the kingdom of heaven; and WHATEVER YOU BIND [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth [will have [already] been bound in heaven, and WHATEVER YOU LOOSE [permit, declare lawful] on earth [will have [already] been loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19.

“The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the EARTH hath he GIVEN to the children of men“ Psalms 115:16.
SUMMARY:
The message is a prophetic call and burden for the Church to arise in this present hour of global crisis. It declares that humanity is in deep darkness, searching for identity and answers, and only a DIVINE ANSWER through the Church can bring direction, healing and hope to the world.

Both older and new generations are searching for identity, self-worth, discovery and answers. But human efforts, financial investments, humanitarian work and the UNITED NATIONS cannot answer the fullness of the QUEST, THIRST and CONFUSION of the human spirit. - The Root Problem is Spiritual
The crisis is first a human tragedy. It requires a DIVINE ANSWER before PHYSICAL resolve. Until leaders address these matters from God’s point of view, all human solutions will keep failing. Psalm 11:3 asks: “If the FOUNDATIONS are destroyed, WHAT CAN THE RIGHTEOUS DO?” - The Church’s Identity and Mandate
The Church is called “the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus” [2 Corinthians 5:17-21]. We are to stand for humanity without sentiment or prejudice. God’s promise stands: “If MY PEOPLE… shall pray… I will… heal their land” [2 Chronicles 7:13-15].
Other scriptures reinforce this: Isaiah 60:1-3 — ARISE and SHINE; Isaiah 45:22 — LOOK unto God and be SAVED; Matthew 16:19 — authority to BIND and LOOSE; Acts 17:24-28 — IN HIM WE LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING; Psalm 115:16 — God has GIVEN the EARTH to the children of men.
Call to Action:
There is great work to be done in our nucleus communities. There is no room for folding of hands. The Church must arise to give direction, light and the answer of God to nations, until our lands are healed as in the Bible days of old.
