FATHER’S DAY SUNDAY HAS COME

June 21, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

FATHER’S DAY SUNDAY HAS COME: THE CELEBRATION OF FATHERLY LOVE AND FATHERHOOD!

“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the WHOLE FAMILY in heaven and earth is named” Ephesians 3:14-15.

Fatherhood is family, and family entails relationship and fellowship. Fellowship sustains relationship, and relationship is about naturing. Are you a father? Intending to become one? Yes, you can! But know this: any man can be a dad, yet to be a father requires a heartfelt labour of love, a work of faith, and patience of hope. It is lived out through diligence, service, sacrifice, commitment, dedication, tolerance, patience, goodness, compassion, and many such virtues.

Fatherhood is about fellowship that deepens our relationship with God. Adam lost that fellowship of fatherhood with God, and in losing it, he lost the relationship. For us, the redeemed children of God, to actualise scriptural fatherhood, we must think of God in fellowship to enhance relationship – meaning we must think family, where fellowship nurtures relationships. Naturing entails the work of faith, the labour of love, and the patience of hope, bringing a seed to fullness until it becomes a forest, as it is written:

“We give thanks to God ALWAYS for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; 3 remembering without ceasing your WORK OF FAITH, and LABOUR OF LOVE, and PATIENCE OF HOPE in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; 4 knowing, brethren beloved, your ELECTION of God” 1 Thessalonians 1:2-4.

More importantly, being a father is about being the voice of God in the life of a child, as the patriarch Abraham was to his household, affirmed by God in His eternal plan, purpose, and pursuit (Genesis 18:19). To be responsible and accountable to God as a father is far more than material, physical, social, or emotional provision and support. It also involves gracious and graceful spiritual support in these ways:

  1. As God’s priest – to stand in the gap in prayer before God, and to minister to Him for the family in all things.
  2. As God’s prophet – to hear from Him on all matters of life and godly living for the family.
  3. As God’s king – to protect and defend the family from the enemy and his cohorts, safeguarding their good and their goods on earth, in Christ’s stead.

Let me remind you, dear father – and those intending to become one – that any man can be a dad or daddy. But to be a father, in the true tasks of fatherly love and fatherhood, requires heartfelt diligence, service, sacrifice, commitment, and much more. It is about being the voice of God in the life of a child, as the Patriarch Abraham was in his household, whom our Father God commended and affirmed in his fatherly path (Genesis 18:19).

May our God, the Father of all flesh and spirit, father you with enabling grace and wisdom, so that you may faithfully father all that concerns you in fatherhood.

Do have a wonderful and blessed Father’s Day, and a joyful celebration of fatherhood as it comes this Sunday in the UK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Fathers, do not PROVOKE your children to ANGER [do not exasperate them to the point of resentment with DEMANDS that are trivial or unreasonable or humiliating or abusive; nor by showing favoritism or indifference to any of them], but bring them up [tenderly, with lovingkindness] in the DISCIPLINE and INSTRUCTION of the Lord” Ephesians 6:4/Amplified.

“Buy the truth and do not sell it— wisdom, instruction and insight as well. 24 THE FATHER OF A RIGHTEOUS CHILD HAS GREAT JOY; A MAN WHO FATHERS A WISE SON REJOICES IN HIM. 25 May your father and mother rejoice; may she who gave you birth be joyful” Proverbs 23:23-25.

“As a FATHER has COMPASSION on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him” Psalms 103:13.

“For I know him, that he will TEACH and COMMAND his children and household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do what is JUST and RIGHTEOUS that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he has SPOKEN and PROMISED him” Genesis 18:19.

“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the WHOLE FAMILY in heaven and earth is named” Ephesians 3:15-15.

“Fathers, do not PROVOKE or IRRITATE or EXASPERATE your children [with DEMANDS that are trivial or unreasonable or humiliating or abusive; nor by favoritism or indifference; treat them tenderly with lovingkindness], so they will not lose heart and become discouraged or unmotivated [with their spirits broken]” Colossians 3:21/Amplified.

SUMMARY

This message is on FATHER’S DAY: THE MEANING OF FATHERLY LOVE AND FATHERHOOD — that true fatherhood is a divine calling of relationship, fellowship, and responsibility patterned after God the Father.

KEY POINTS:

  1. THE FOUNDATION OF FATHERHOOD IS GOD
Ephesians 3:14-15 — “Of whom the WHOLE FAMILY in heaven and earth is named.”
Fatherhood begins with God. He is the Father of all flesh and spirit. Family is built on relationship, and relationship is sustained by fellowship. Adam lost fatherhood when he lost fellowship with God. For us to actualise scriptural fatherhood, we must return to thinking “family” — where fellowship nurtures relationship.
  2. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DAD AND A FATHER
Any man canbe a dad. But to be a FATHER requires:
A work of faith, a labour of love, and patience of hope 1 Thessalonians 1:2-4.
It is expressed through diligence, service, sacrifice, commitment, compassion, tolerance, and godly virtues.
Fatherhood is not just provision. It is presence, instruction, and spiritual covering.
  3. THE THREEFOLD ROLE OF A FATHER
Tobe accountable to God, a father must function:
  • As God’s PRIEST — to stand in the gap in prayer and minister to God for the family.
  • As God’s PROPHET — to hear from God and direct the family in life and godly living.
  • As God’s KING — to protect, defend, and safeguard the family and their goods from the enemy. Genesis 18:19
Like Abraham, a father must be the voice of God in the life of his child and household.
  1. THE BIBLICAL MANDATE FOR FATHERS
Ephesians 6:4; Colossians 3:21 — Fathers are not to provoke, exasperate, or discourage their children, but to bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, with lovingkindness and nofavouritism.
Proverbs 23:23-25 — The father of a righteous child has great joy. Wisdom, instruction, and truth must be bought and not sold.
Psalms 103:13 — As a father has compassion, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.
  2. NATURING TO FULNESS
Naturing is the process of bringing a seed to a forest. It requires consistency, faith, love, and hope until what God has placed in a child comes to fulness. Election, calling, and purpose are nurtured in the atmosphere of fatherhood.

CALL TO ACTION:

TO ALL FATHERS AND THOSE INTENDING TO BECOME ONE:

  • Choose Fellowship First — Deepen your relationship with God the Father. Out of that fellowship flows true fatherhood.
  • Embrace Responsibility — Be the priest, prophet, and king over your home. Pray, hear God, and protect.
  • Nurture with Love — Father with compassion, instruction, and patience. Do not provoke but build up.
  • Live the Example — Let your life be a work of faith, labour of love, and patience of hope that your children can imitate.

May God the Father of all, father you with enabling grace and wisdom, so that you may faithfully father all that concerns you.

ENSURE YOU ARE A FATHER THAT’S NURTURING

June 18, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

ENSURE YOU ARE A FATHER THAT’S NURTURING AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A FATHER NURTURING YOU!

“I do not write these things to SHAME you, but to WARN and ADVISE you as my beloved children. 15 For even if you were to have ten thousand TEACHERS [to guide you] in Christ, yet you would not have many FATHERS [who led you to Christ and assumed RESPONSIBILITY for you], for I became your FATHER in Christ Jesus through the good news [of salvation]. 16 So I urge you, be IMITATORS of me [just as a CHILD IMITATES his FATHER]” 1 Corinthians 4:14-16/AMP.

It takes the presence of a NATURING Father and a NURTURING Mother to make a child become in the fulness of life and grace in Christ Jesus stead; and this is irrespective of any known and unknown circumstances.

Where there is no physical Father to NATURE and Mother to NURTURE, there are LOADS of questions to be answered in an individual’s life.

A father or mother may be biological, a guardian, by adoption, and the like — so long as you can experience NATURING and NURTURING, and not just either.

It is very important as a Father that you ENSURE you are a FATHER indeed for the NATURING; and as a child, that you passionately ENSURE you have a FATHER figure in your life for the NATURING in your life and grace — irrespective of any circumstances, under God in Christ Jesus. Amen.

The Father you are to any, or have become to any, to NATURE — by biological, guardian, or adoption — must not MATTER at all, so long as there is no room given to stereotypes, prejudice, sentiments, and dissimulation in the parenting style of being fatherly, with a fatherhood heart of love and fellowship. [hypocrisy]

Let all such indifference — stereotypes, prejudice, sentiments, dissimulation, and the like — be kept at bay and alien to the fatherhood and fathering relationship.

BEING A FATHER and BECOMING A FATHER is worth all of living.

And I sincerely wish you all the enabling grace, wisdom, and speed, in every way, in God’s BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus, as you continue steadfastly in your parenting grace. Amen.

SELAH – PAUSE & THINK!

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“For this cause I bow my knees unto the FATHER of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the whole FAMILY in heaven and earth is named” Ephesians 3:14-15

“After this manner therefore PRAY ye: Our FATHER which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name” Matthew 6:9.

“Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. 17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to MY FATHER: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto MY FATHER, and YOUR FATHER; and to my God, and your God” John 20:16-17.

“I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you. 15 For though ye have ten thousand INSTRUCTORS in Christ, yet have ye not many FATHERS: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me” 1 Corinthians 4:14-16.

“And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18 seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be BLESSED in him? 19 For I KNOW him, that he will COMMAND his children and his household after him, and they shall KEEP the WAY of the Lord, to DO justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath SPOKEN of him” Genesis 18:17-19.

“Hearken to me, ye that FOLLOW after righteousness, ye that SEEK the Lord: look unto the ROCK whence ye are HEWN, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. 2 Look unto Abraham your FATHER, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and BLESSED him, and INCREASED him” Isaiah 51:1-2.

“And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto CHILDREN, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 for whom the Lord LOVETH he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the FATHER chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had FATHERS of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the FATHER of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby” Hebrews 12:5-11.

SUMMARY:

Fatherhood and Motherhood are both essential for a child to grow into the fullness of life and grace in Christ Jesus. NATURING + NURTURING = WHOLENESS.

  1. THE BIBLICAL PATTERN OF FATHERHOOD

1 Corinthians 4:14-16 — Paul says he became their FATHER in Christ, not just a teacher. A father takes RESPONSIBILITY, warns, advises, and becomes an example to be IMITATED.
Genesis 18:17-19 — God trusted Abraham because he would COMMAND his household to KEEP the WAY of the Lord.
Hebrews 12:5-11 — A true father chastens, corrects, and trains for righteousness. Without fathering, we lack identity and covering.

  1. NATURING AND NURTURING ARE BOTH NEEDED

It takes a NATURING Father and a NURTURING Mother for a child to become in fullness.
Where there is no physical father or mother, there will be LOADS of unanswered questions in a person’s life.
Father/Mother can be biological, guardian, or by adoption — what matters is that you EXPERIENCE both NATURING and NURTURING, not just one.

  1. THE HEART OF TRUE FATHERHOOD

Being a father must be free from stereotypes, prejudice, sentiments, and dissimulation.
Fatherhood is about a heart of love and fellowship.
Ephesians 3:14-15 — All family in heaven and earth is named of the FATHER.
Matthew 6:9; John 20:17 — Jesus revealed God as OUR FATHER.
Isaiah 51:1-2 — Look to Abraham your FATHER — he was blessed and increased.

FINAL CHARGE:

ENSURE YOU ARE A FATHER THAT’S NATURING.
ENSURE YOU HAVE A FATHER THAT’S NATURING YOU.
BEING A FATHER and BECOMING A FATHER is worth all of living.

May God’s enabling grace, wisdom, and speed rest upon you in your parenting grace. Amen.

GOD IS FAITHFUL: YOU ARE FATHER ABRAHAM’S SEED

November 17, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

GOD IS FAITHFUL: YOU ARE FATHER ABRAHAM’S SEED – BE FAITHFUL AS FAITHFUL ABRAHAM!

“And if ye BE Christ’s, then ARE ye Abraham’s SEED, and HEIRS according to the PROMISE” Galatians 3:29.

As I read, ponder and make up this write up, I recall countless times I have sang and still sing the song: “ABRAHAM BLESSINGS ARE MINE”. This I have done for over 45yrs plus and still counting. And then while working on the cause and course of this month theme, the Lord reminds me again of the Scripture of Galatians 3:6-9, 29 in a more ASSURED insight and foresight, as written:

“Even as Abraham BELIEVED God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they WHICH ARE OF FAITH, the same are the CHILDREN of Abraham. 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, PREACHED before the GOSPEL unto Abraham, saying, IN THEE SHALL ALL NATIONS BE BLESSED. 9 So then they which be of faith ARE BLESSED with FAITHFUL Abraham . . . 29 And if ye BE Christ’s, then ARE ye Abraham’s SEED, and HEIRS according to the PROMISE“ Galatians 3:6-9, 29.

How gracious and graceful for one to easily lay claim to be ABRAHAM’S seed and wants ABRAHAM’S Blessings; more so, to be God’s friend as ABRAHAM’S, as we do sing “I AM A FRIEND OF GOD”, even as the Scriptures indicate in James 2:23. Yeah, the Scriptures did say in Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29, that as many of us who ARE of FAITH in Christ Jesus ARE of ABRAHAM’S and can share in the Abrahamic BLESSEDNESS of God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. This becomes possible because Abraham was ascribed as being FAITHFUL ABRAHAM; this is due to his obedience and humility in believing God’s word above anything else and being ASSURED of God’s FAITHFULNESS in His promise, to let go of himself and let God be, in all about him doing life and living godly to fulfill God’s divine PURPOSE meaningfully.

Abraham was FAITHFUL toward God from the moment the GOSPEL as said in Galatians 3:8 was PREACHED to him; and I repeat, that the GOSPEL of God in FAITH was PREACHED to him, wherein he BELIEVED and acted upon accordingly, intentionally and unreservedly. He believed God, and in obedience through FAITH, he journeyed with God in FAITHFULNESS until death as in his memoir in the Holy writ of Genesis 12-25 and Hebrews 11:8-12, 17-19. And all who came afterwards in FAITH have shared in the BLESSEDNESS of him, in God, in that he was FAITHFUL towards God as ascribed of him – FAITHFUL ABRAHAM.

Let us see some FAITHFUL characteristics of FAITHFUL ABRAHAM that we can learn of him and can use as a measure to ascertain in SHARING in his GOSPEL enabling for us today:

  1. He was FAITHFUL to OBEY when he received the call of God without conferring with flesh and blood. He left all, his people inclusive, to cleave to God in faith. How I wish we can learn of him, on how to LEAVE and CLEAVE to a CAUSE – PURPOSE. Genesis 12; Galatians 1:12-17; Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5 (Make 10:7).
  2. He was FAITHFUL to depend on God’s provisions when tried and tested by his nephew – Lot – who was in his greediness on business deals and acquisitions with him. He turned his face to God, instead of having a fight on Earthly possessions that takes people lives instead of offering life. Genesis 13; Luke 12:15; Mark 10:28-3; Philippians 4:13, 19; 2 Corinthians 9:8; 2 Corinthians 3:4-6.
  3. He was FAITHFUL to pay up in FAITH at no pressure or dispute, the TITHE of his earnings – Genesis 14; Hebrews 7:1-9; Hebrews 3:1-2; Matthew 23:23; Matthew 22:15-22; 2 Corinthians 8-9; Luke 6:38; Luke 8:1-3; Acts 20:32-35; (Proverbs 3:9-10; Malachi 3:10-12; Deuteronomy 26:1-19; Leviticus 27:30-33).
  4. He was FAITHFUL toward God in Covenant in FAITH, being assured that God will do the needful – Genesis 15-17; Philippians 1:6; 1 John 5:14-15; Hebrews 10:23, 35-39.
  5. He was FAITHFUL to receive and entertained Angelic visitors unaware and at no question or cost. Genesis 18; Hebrews 13:1-3; Romans 12:9-21.
  6. He was FAITHFUL to intercede in prayers for His family and Nation in crises and awaiting God’s judgement, peradventure God might show mercy – Genesis 18/19; Isaiah 59:16; Ezekiel 22:30; Romans 8:26:26-27; Isaiah 53:12; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25.
  7. He was such FAITHFUL to let GO of his wife when challenged, in order to fulfil PURPOSE in God; and God foreseeing his sincerity saved him and wife from such challenging test of his marital relationship. Genesis 20; Mark 10:28-31; Colossians 4:17; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2; 1 Corinthians 1:9; Romans 8:28-30.
  8. He was FAITHFUL in the midst of the CONFUSION he found himself by the errors and failures he made in course of time in his decision. And God was there to turn his MESS into a MESSAGE because he was troubled and repentant. Genesis 21; 2 Thessalonians 3:3; Galatians 1:3-5; 1 Thessalonians 5:24; 1 John 1:9-10.
  9. He was FAITHFUL to let Go of his precious and most treasured gift – his son Isaac to God, at God’s request and demand, without questioning and arguing with God of His intent. – Genesis 22; Hebrews 11:17-19.
  10. He was FAITHFUL even at his loss of his dear wife and in bereavement. And turn his lost for legacy, in that by her burying place, he then set up a foundation stone (the land of Canaan) that earmarked that which was to be FULFILLED for posterity in God’s Prophecy in MOSES and the Israelites in years to come. Genesis 23; (Galatians 3:17-18; Genesis 15:12-14); 2 Corinthians 1:3-11; John 11:1-45; Romans 12:15; James 5:13.
  11. He was FAITHFUL in that he was able to create the needed atmosphere that his son Isaac could get married faithfully. Genesis 24; 1 Timothy 4:12; Titus 2:1-8; Ephesians 6:1-4; Ephesians 5:21-33; 1 Peter 3:1-12.
  12. He was FAITHFUL to leave an inheritance for his Children as he died in FAITH, fulfiling PURPOSE in FAITHFULNESS. Genesis 25; Proverbs 13:22.

Abraham have FAITH in God’s FAITHFULNESS – being FAITHFUL; that’s why he was prepared from the moment of receiving the GOSPEL of FAITH, to LET GO of himself of anything, counting and accounting that God will take CARE of him no matter what may happen; thus indicating that whatsoever he let go at God’s request, God knows best as He’s a FAITHFUL God to make it up for him in a far better placement than the one he could have held unto and held back with; and in selfishness and in not Believing and Trusting that GOD IS FAITHFUL to keep to His PROMISE.

Today, we as Abraham seed, who are partakers of his enabling in Christ Jesus, how much can it be said, that we are as him, in being called FAITHFUL ABRAHAM. Let us not be the Believers in Christ Jesus stead, who wants the BLESSEDNESS of Abraham but are not PREPARED of the PROCESS in it; especially when that is the part that can fortify and make us grounded and rooted in FAITH and in the FAITH, in Christ Jesus stead, as we share in his blessing.

ABRAHAM was called a friend of God – James 2:23, because of the attribute of being FAITHFUL ABRAHAM. May we be as he was toward God in Christ Jesus stead I pray for now and always. Amen.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Hearken to me, ye that FOLLOW AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS, ye that seek the Lord: LOOK UNTO THE ROCK whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. 2 Look unto ABRAHAM YOUR FATHER, and unto SARAH THAT BARE YOU: for I CALLED him alone, and BLESSED him, and INCREASED him. 3 For the Lord shall COMFORT Zion: he will COMFORT all her waste places; and he will make her WILDERNESS like Eden, and her DESERT like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody” Isaiah 51:1-3.

9 So then they which be of faith ARE BLESSED with FAITHFUL Abraham . . . 13 Christ hath REDEEMED us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 that THE BLESSING of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith . . . 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29.

“By FAITH Abraham, when he was CALLED to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, OBEYED; and he went out, NOT KNOWING whither he went. 9 By FAITH he sojourned in THE LAND OF PROMISE, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 for he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11 Through FAITH also Sara herself RECEIVED STRENGTH TO CONCEIVE SEED and was DELIVERED of a child when she was past age, because she judged him FAITHFUL who had promised. 12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable . . . 17 By FAITH Abraham, when he was tried, OFFERED up Isaac: and he that had RECEIVED the promises OFFERED up his only begotten son, 18 of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: 19 ACCOUNTING that God was ABLE to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he RECEIVED him in a FIGURE” Hebrews 11:8-19.

“But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father JUSTIFIED by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how FAITH wrought with his works, and by works was FAITH made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham BELIEVED God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the FRIEND of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only” James 2:20-24.

“As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he BELIEVED, even God, who QUICKENETH the dead, and CALLETH those things which be not as though they were. 18 Who against HOPE believed in HOPE, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: 20 he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. 22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness . . .” Romans 4:17-25.

Further Scriptural Reading Text: Romans 4:18-25; Hebrews 11:8-19; Genesis 12-25.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY AND FATHERHOOD SUNDAY

June 15, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY AND FATHERHOOD SUNDAY: BE BLESSED IN THE GRACE!

“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the WHOLE FAMILY in heaven and earth is named” Ephesians 3:14-15.

Fatherhood is Family, and family is fellowship, and fellowship ensures relationship and relationship is nurturing. Are you a FATHER? Intending To BECOME? Yes You CAN! But know full well that ANY MAN can be a DAD or DADDY, but to be a FATHER, it takes a heartfelt Labour of LOVE, Work of FAITH, and Patience of HOPE in principle through Diligence, Services, Sacrifices, Commitments, Dedications, Tolerance, Patience, Goodness, Compassion and many more such like. FATHERHOOD is about fellowship to enhance our relationship with God. Adam lost that FATHERHOOD fellowship with God and it caused him the relationship. So, for we the redeemed children of God to actualise SCRIPTURAL FATHERHOOD, think God in fellowship to enhance relationship – meaning think family, where fellowship is nurtured to nurture relationships.

“We give thanks to God ALWAYS for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;  remembering without ceasing your WORK OF FAITH, and LABOUR OF LOVE, and PATIENCE OF HOPE in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;  knowing, brethren beloved, your ELECTION of God” 1 Thessalonians 1:2-4.

More importantly, being a FATHER it’s about being the VOICE of God in the child or children life’s as  the Patriarch Father of Faith (Abraham) was to theirs, as affirmed of God, in God’s eternal PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT – Genesis 18:19. To be responsible and accountable to God as such, being a Father it’s MUCH MORE THAN the material, physical, social and emotional provisions and supports, but also involve the gracious and graceful spiritual support in these ways:

  1. You are God’s PRIEST to stand in the gap in prayers before God, and to minister to God for family in all things.
  2. And as a PROPHET to hear from God on all matters of life and godly living for family.
  3. And as a KING to protect and defend your family from the enemy and cohorts against your family good and goods on earth, in Christ stead.

Let me recap again to you, to always remember dear father and the intended to become, that any man can be a Dad or Daddy, but to be a Father in a fatherly and fatherhood tasks, that it takes a heart-felt love of diligence, services, sacrifices, commitments and more. It’s about being the voice of God in the child or children lives as  the Patriarch Father of Faith – Abraham, whom our Father God could commend and affirm his fatherly and fatherhood path. [Genesis 18:19].

May our God, the Father of all flesh and spirit, Father you with the enabling grace and wisdom to father all that concerns you in fatherhood.

Do have a wonderful and blessed Father’s Day and a fatherly fatherhood celebration in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

GOD IS FAITHFUL

November 17, 2023 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

GOD IS FAITHFUL: ARE YOU ABRAHAM SEED – BE FAITHFUL AS FAITHFUL ABRAHAM!

This I have done for over 45yrs and still counting. And then while working on the cause and course of this month theme, the Lord reminds me again of the Scripture of Galatians 3:9, 29 in a more ASSURED insight and foresight, as written:

“So then THEY which be of FAITH are BLESSED with FAITHFUL ABRAHAM. . . 29 And if ye BE Christ’s, then ARE ye Abraham’s SEED, and HEIRS according to the PROMISE” Galatians 3:9.

How gracious and graceful for one to easily lay claim to be Abraham seed and wants Abraham Blessings; more so, to be God’s friend as Abraham, as we do sing “I AM A FRIEND OF GOD”, even as the Scriptures indicate in James 2:23. Yeah, the Scriptures did say in Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29, that as many of us who ARE of FAITH in Christ Jesus ARE of Abraham and can share in the Abrahamic BLESSEDNESS of God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. This becomes possible because Abraham was ascribed as being FAITHFUL ABRAHAM; this is due to his obedience cum humility in believing God’s word above any thing else and being ASSURED of God’s FAITHFULNESS in His promise, to let go of himself and let God be, in all about him doing life and living godly to fulfill God’s divine PURPOSE meaningfully.

And all who came afterwards in FAITH have shared in his BLESSEDNESS of him with God, in that he was FAITHFUL as ascribed as – FAITHFUL ABRAHAM.

  5. He was FAITHFUL to receive and entertained Angelic visitors unaware and at no question or cost. Genesis 18; Hebrews 13:1-3; Romans 12:9-21;
  7. He was such FAITHFUL to let GO of his wife when challenge, in order to fulfil PURPOSE in God; and God foreseeing his sincerity save him and wife from such challenging test of his marital relationship. Genesis 20; Mark 10:28-31; Colossians 4:17; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2; 1 Corinthians 1:9; Romans 8:28-30.
  8. He was FAITHFUL in the midst of the CONFUSION he find himself by the errors and failures he made in course of time in his decision.
  10. He was FAITHFUL even at his lost of his dear wife and in bereavement. And turn his lost for legacy, in that by her burying place, he then set up a foundation stone (the land of Canaan) that earmarked that which was to be FULFILL for posterity in God’s Prophecy in MOSES and the Israelites in years to come.

Let us not be the Believers in Christ Jesus stead, who wants the BLESSEDNESS of Abraham but are not PREPARED of the PROCESS in it; especially when that is the part that can fortified and make us grounded and rooted in FAITH and in the FAITH, in Christ Jesus stead, as we share in his blessing.

ABRAHAM was called a friend of God – James 2:23, because of the attribute of being FAITHFUL ABRAHAM. May we be as he’s toward God in Christ Jesus stead I pray for now and always.

9 So then they which be of faith ARE BLESSED with FAITHFUL Abraham . .

11 Through FAITH also Sara herself RECEIVED STRENGTH TO CONCEIVE SEED, and was DELIVERED of a child when she was past age, because she judged him FAITHFUL who had promised.

ENSURE YOU ARE A FATHER: ENSURE YOU HAVE A FATHER!

June 18, 2023 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

ENSURE YOU ARE A FATHER: ENSURE YOU HAVE A FATHER!

It takes the presence of the NATURING Father and the NURTURING Mother to make a child become in life and grace in Christ Jesus stead – and this is irrespective of any known and unknown circumstances.

It’s important as a Father that you ENSURE that you are a FATHER indeed and irrespective; and that as a child that you passionately seek to ENSURE you have a FATHER in your life and grace – and irrespective of any circumstances under God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

And the father you have or have become one by any of these – biological or guardian or adoption must not MATTER at all as long as there’s no room given to stereotypes, prejudice and dissimulation (hypocrisy) and such like – for any of such should be kept at a bay and alien to the fatherhood and fathering relationship.

BEING A FATHER and BECOMING A FATHER is worth all the living. And I sincerely wish all, the enabling grace, wisdom and speed, in every way, in God’s BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“For this cause I bow my knees unto the FATHER of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named” Ephesians 3:14-15.

GOD IS FAITHFUL: BEING FAITHFUL AS FAITHFUL ABRAHAM!

GOD IS FAITHFUL: BEING FAITHFUL AS FAITHFUL ABRAHAM!

As I read, ponder and make up this write up, I recall countless times I have sang and still sing the song: “Abraham Blessings Are Mine”. This I have done for over 45yrs and still counting. And then while working on the cause and course of this month theme, the Lord reminds me again of the Scripture of Galatians 3:9 in a more ASSURED insight and foresight, as written:

“So then THEY which be of FAITH are BLESSED with FAITHFUL ABRAHAM” Galatians 3:9.

How gracious and graceful for one to easily lay claim to be Abraham seed and wants Abraham Blessings; more so, to be God’s friend as Abraham, as we do sing “I Am A Friend Of God”, even as the Scriptures indicate in James 2:23. Yeah, the Scriptures did say in Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29, that as many of us who are of FAITH in Christ Jesus are of Abraham and can share in the Abrahamic BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. This become possible because Abraham was ascribed as FAITHFUL ABRAHAM; this is due to his obedience in believing and being assured of God’s FAITHFULNESS in His promise, to let go of himself and let God be in all about him doing life and living godly.

Abraham was FAITHFUL toward God from the moment the Gospel as said in Galatians 3:8 was PREACHED to him; and I repeat, that the Gospel of God in FAITH was PREACHED to him, wherein he BELIEVED and acted upon accordingly and unreservedly. He believed God, and in obedience through FAITH, he journeyed with God in FAITHFULNESS until death as in his memoir in the Holy writ of Genesis 12-25. And all who came afterwards in FAITH have shared in his BLESSEDNESS with God, in that he was FAITHFUL as ascribed as – FAITHFUL ABRAHAM.

  1. He was FAITHFUL toward God in Covenant in FAITH, being assured that God will do the needful – Genesis 15-17; Philippians 1:6; 1 John 5:14-15; Hebrews 10:23, 35-39.

  1. He was FAITHFUL to receive and entertained Angelic visitors unaware and at no question or cost. Genesis 18; Hebrews 13:1-3; Romans 12:9-21;

  1. He was FAITHFUL in the midst of the CONFUSION he find himself by the errors and failures he made in course of time in his decision. And God was there to turn his MESS into a MESSAGE because he was troubled and repentant. Genesis 21; 2 Thessalonians 3:3; Galatians 1:3-5; 1 Thessalonians 5:24; 1 John 1:9-10.

  1. He was FAITHFUL to let Go of his precious and most treasured gift – his son Isaac to God, at God’s request and demand, without questioning and arguing with God of His intent. – Genesis 22; Hebrews 11:17-19.

  1. Genesis 23; (Galatians 3:17-18; Genesis 15:12-14); 2 Corinthians 1:3-11; John 11:1-45; Romans 12:15; James 5:13.

ABRAHAM was called a friend of God – James 2:23, because of the attribute of being FAITHFUL ABRAHAM. May we be as he’s toward God in Christ Jesus stead I pray for now and always. Amen.

9 So then they which be of faith ARE BLESSED with FAITHFUL Abraham . .

11 Through FAITH also Sara herself RECEIVED STRENGTH TO CONCEIVE SEED, and was DELIVERED of a child when she was past age, because she judged him FAITHFUL who had promised.

GOD IS FAITHFUL

November 17, 2020 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

GOD IS FAITHFUL: BEING FAITHFUL AS FAITHFUL ABRAHAM!

As I read, ponder and make up this write up, I recall countless times I have sang and still sing the song: “Abraham Blessing Are Mine”.

5. He was FAITHFUL to receive and entertained Angelic visitors unaware and at no question or cost. Genesis 18; Hebrews 13:1-3; Romans 12:9-21;

Amen.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

June 15, 2019 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

FATHER’S DAY SUNDAY IS COMING: THIS SUNDAY – FATHER’S DAY (UK) LOADING!

Are you a FATHER? Intending To BECOME? Yes You CAN! But know full well that ANY MAN can be a DAD or DADDY, but to be a FATHER, it takes a heartfelt Labour of LOVE, Work of FAITH and Patience of HOPE through Diligence, Services, Sacrifices, Commitments, Dedications, Tolerance, Patience, Goodness, Compassion and many more such likes.

More importantly, being a FATHER it’s about being the VOICE of God in the child or children life’s as the Patriarch Father of Faith (Abraham) was to theirs, as affirmed of God, in God’s eternal PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT. As such, being a Father it’s much more than the material, physical, social and emotional provisions and supports, but also involve the gracious and graceful spiritual support in these wise:

1** You are God’s PRIEST to stand in the gap in prayers before God, and to minister to God for family in all things;

2** And as a PROPHET to hear from God on all matters of life and godly living for family;

3** And as a KING to protect and defend your family from the enemy and cohorts against your family good and goods on earth, in Christ stead.

May our God, the Father of all flesh and spirit, Father you to father all that concerns you in Life and GODLINESS.

Have a wonderful & blessed Father’s Day celebration – comes Sunday (UK).

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING:

“Fathers, do not PROVOKE your children to ANGER [do not exasperate them to the point of resentment with DEMANDS that are trivial or unreasonable or humiliating or abusive; nor by showing favoritism or indifference to any of them], but bring them up [tenderly, with lovingkindness] in the DISCIPLINE and INSTRUCTION of the Lord” Ephesians 6:4 (Amplified).

“For I know him, that he will TEACH and COMMAND his children and household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do what is JUST and RIGHTEOUS that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he has SPOKEN and PROMISED him” (Genesis 18:19).

“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the WHOLE FAMILY in heaven and earth is named” Ephesians 3:15-15.

“Fathers, do not PROVOKE or IRRITATE or EXASPERATE your children [with DEMANDS that are trivial or unreasonable or humiliating or abusive; nor by favoritism or indifference; treat them tenderly with lovingkindness], so they will not lose heart and become discouraged or unmotivated [with their spirits broken]” Colossians 3:21 (Amplified).
