AUGUST YOUR LIFE BY GOD’S ENABLING POWER: JESUS DID, AND SO DID THE FIRST AND EARLY APOSTLES AND FELLOW BELIEVERS! 

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the CALLED according to HIS PURPOSE . . .” Romans 8:28-30. 

The power of God is the enabling of God to accomplish His PURPOSE in your life. 
Hence, a PURPOSELESS lifestyle cannot receive God’s POWER to enable the actualisation of the set-out divine PURPOSE of God — in the individual — both for life and godliness, in Christ Jesus.  

“. . . 11 in whom also we have OBTAINED an inheritance, being PREDESTINATED according to the PURPOSE of him who worketh all things after the COUNSEL of his own will . . .” Ephesians 1:3-12. 

Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord, lived for God’s given CAUSE and PURPOSE in humanity to accomplish God’s intent for humanity. And for that PURPOSE to be accomplished He was not only ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit, He was also EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit to fulfil that PURPOSE under God. 1 John 3:8; John 18:37; Luke 4:1-2, 14. 

This indicates that Christ Jesus, in humanity, in order to fulfil God’s PURPOSE and to bear WITNESS of the Gospel truth, could only have accomplished it all by the given POWER of God for that purpose. John 18:37; John 5:31-33, 36-37; John 8:18; John 10:25. 

Just know today, for sure and assuredly, that God’s POWER is not GIVEN for NOTHING. It is for the PURPOSE of being a WITNESS of God to humanity in every capacity of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus. These areas include, but are not limited to marriage, family, ministry, career, business, enterprise, relationships, leadership and such like. 

In all, it is about being God’s representative and ambassador with the message of reconciliation to humanity through every avenue of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus. Acts 1:8; Matthew 24:14; 2 Corinthians 5:17-20; Ephesians 6:20. 

The disciples of Jesus Christ who became Apostles lived to bear WITNESS of the Gospel of God in Christ Jesus, by the enabling POWER of God in His grace that was bestowed upon them. Long before Christ Jesus had finished His earthly cause and purpose, He informed and assured them — and us today — of the promised POWER of God towards them and us today, which gives the enabling to fulfil God’s PURPOSE in humanity for all who come to Him. Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8; Acts 4:33. 

In summary, one can say that the essence of God’s POWER in an individual Christian is to fulfil God’s PURPOSE in the individual, in order to ensure God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:28-30. 

Hence, if you seek, or are seeking after God’s enabling POWER in your life, ensure you have first resolved God’s PURPOSE for your life. Otherwise you will receive NOTHING from God, but the counterfeit, adulteration and falsehood — just as many who have been BEWITCHED into SORCERIES, like Simon of Acts 8:9-24, who went about claiming to be attributed with the great POWER of God, in self-denial and self-deception to himself and his followers. 

I hereby enjoin you to — AUGUST YOUR LIFE BY GOD’S ENABLING POWER IN CHRIST JESUS, as Jesus Christ DID experience in humanity, and as THE FIRST AND EARLY APOSTLES and FELLOW BELIEVERS in Christ Jesus DID experience. Amen.  

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“How God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth with the HOLY GHOST and with POWER: who went about doing good, and HEALING all that were OPPRESSED of the devil; for God was WITH him” Acts 10:38. 

“And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was LED by the Spirit into the wilderness, 2 being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered. . . 14 And Jesus RETURNED IN THE POWER of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about . . . 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath ANOINTED me to preach the GOSPEL to the poor; he hath sent me to HEAL the brokenhearted, to PREACH deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 to preach the acceptable year of the Lord . . .” Luke 4:1-22.

This message links God’s POWER directly to God’s PURPOSE. Without PURPOSE, there can be no authentic POWER.

  • The essence of God’s POWER in a Christian is to fulfil God’s PURPOSE in the individual, to ensure God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:28-30 
  • If you seek God’s enabling POWER without first resolving God’s PURPOSE, you will receive NOTHING from God but counterfeit, adulteration and falsehood. 
  • Example: Simon of Acts 8:9-24, who claimed the great POWER of God in self-denial and self-deception.

GOD’S PLAN OF ASSURED HOPE

GOD’S PLAN OF ASSURED HOPE: TO GIVE YOU A HOPEFUL LIFE TODAY AND A BLESSED FUTURE IN THE GRACE! 

“For I know the PLANS I have for you, declares the Lord, PLANS to PROSPER you and not to harm you, PLANS to give you HOPE and a FUTURE” Jeremiah 29:11/NIV. 

God has an assured hopeful plan for you. Not a pessimistic and positive thinking ideological mental picture that leads to no fruition as many wish. God’s assured hope and hopeful future is a scripturally secured hope in His word, that can outlast your today and tomorrow in the grace. God’s assured hope plan is to give you a hopefully blessed [prosperous] future [3 John 1:2; Jeremiah 29:11]. God’s assured hope is in the fulness of who God is – in His nature and character, and as Father God who LOVES you – For you ARE His creation’s BEST – and you ARE His assured plan – and you ARE in His Plan to fulfil a PURPOSE meaningfully in the grace. You ARE the only upright being of God’s creation that’s on two feet. Hence you can’t live less than what’s available for you on your redemption rights and privileges in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

For this assured hope assurance, you need to anchor your faith in the grace; as such I want you to know these: 

Firstly, God LOVES you in spite of whatsoever is going on right now in your life – for both good or challenging times are designed to work out for your good and goodness in the grace Romans 8:28; 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. That default of God’s love won’t change or be reversed because God is love. He’s the definition of love and will keep upholding His word. For in love, He has begotten us and in love He will keep us to fulfill His assured plan, purpose and pursuit for us in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. God will uphold His WORD to ensure that His assured promise becomes your reality today and tomorrow – Do you believe? 

“I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have EXALTED above all else Your NAME and Your WORD and You have MAGNIFIED Your WORD above all YOUR name” Psalms 138:2/Amplified Classic Edition. 

“He that loveth not knoweth not God; FOR GOD IS LOVE. [16] And we have known and believed the LOVE that God hath to us. GOD IS LOVE; and he that dwelleth in LOVE dwelleth in God, and God in him” 1 John 4:8, 16. 

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the FAITHFUL witness, and the first BEGOTTEN of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that LOVED us, and WASHED us from our sins in his own blood, [6] and hath MADE us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” Revelation 1:5-6. 

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. [8] But God COMMENDETH HIS LOVE TOWARD US, in that, while we were YET SINNERS, Christ DIED for us” Romans 5:5, 8. 

Secondly, it must be noted that Father God doesn’t measure us by the eyes of men; and it’s irrelevant whether you ARE right now low or high in life altitude – God’s assured hopeful today and tomorrow for you remains unchanged. For you are still God’s best and His intent is to give you a hopeful today and a future in life; and His enabling, set grace to make it possible is irrevocable and at its FULNESS for your good and goodness in Him in Christ Jesus’ stead. And because you are in His purpose of Love, He’s processing you to ensure that all things – the good and the challenging times – work together for your expected end. For what God has for you is not in any man but within you only by the Holy Spirit of revelation. And the assured Holy Spirit of our salvation in the grace is already at work to reveal you, manifest you and showcase you for God’s glory and praise in the grace. 

So, knowing that the assured hope is at work, working in you to become in the grace, it should compel you to let God make you whole and complete in His PREDESTINED plan, purpose and pursuit for you in every way. For your destiny and definition are embedded inside you and not in anyone else – to manipulate, control or counterfeit – except you give them the opportunity. So, don’t think anyone else can hold back your today and tomorrow – for only you can hold back yourself, except you give up the “you” to someone else to define you instead of God’s assured hope definition of you. You ARE the custodian of your happiness and joy for your today and tomorrow in the grace in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

“And we KNOW that all things work together for good to them that LOVE God, to them who are the CALLED according to HIS PURPOSE. [29] For whom he did FOREKNOW, he also did PREDESTINATE to be CONFORMED to the image of his Son, that he might be the FIRSTBORN among many brethren. [30] Moreover whom he did PREDESTINATE, them he also CALLED: and whom he CALLED, them he also JUSTIFIED: and whom he JUSTIFIED, them he also GLORIFIED” Romans 8:28-30. 

“But as it is written, EYE HATH NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, Neither have ENTERED into the HEART of man, The things which God hath PREPARED for them that LOVE him. [10] But God hath REVEALED them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit SEARCHETH all things, yea, the deep things of God” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. 

“That in the DISPENSATION of the FULNESS of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: [11] in whom also we have OBTAINED an inheritance, being PREDESTINATED according to the PURPOSE of Him who WORKETH ALL THINGS after the COUNSEL of his own will: [12] that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ” Ephesians 1:10-12. 

You need to be assured to know and say to yourself that God loves you, and cares about you, and it’s irrespective, and it is without sentiment, prejudice and dissimulation; and it thus matters not how your day, week, month and year has been, especially this day called today, because God is good and faithful, true and sure in His assured hope and a future in the grace in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

And it is my earnest PRAYER that you might know the divinely assured hope of God in His LOVE for you, that TRANSCENDS and SURPASSES human sense knowledge of LOVE. 

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being ROOTED and GROUNDED in LOVE, [18] may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; [19] AND TO KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST, which PASSETH [TRANSCEND, SURPASSED] KNOWLEDGE [HUMAN SENSE], that ye might be FILLED with all the FULNESS of God” Ephesians 3:17-19. 

You need to rise up, tidy up yourself, raise up your head, look upwards, adjust your shoulders, shake off your limitations and see the dawning of a new you in the eyes of God’s love, to make it good for you. You need to be heads up, shoulders high and on the high heels of faith in Christ Jesus’ stead. For you ARE being processed daily, counting for your good and goodness, on your onward and upward trajectory in the path of greatness to fulfil purpose meaningfully and unreservedly fruitfully. 

Therefore, say to yourself, I am God’s made and best and His showcase in the grace with ASSURED HOPE; and I will not fail, because God has never failed and will not fail, and He won’t begin with me no matter what my present circumstances appear to be. For every situation is designed for my becoming and certainly I am becoming by God’s best in process in the grace in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen!

SUMMARY 

This message is a prophetic declaration of GOD’S PLAN OF ASSURED HOPE: TO GIVE YOU A HOPEFUL LIFE TODAY AND A BLESSED FUTURE IN THE GRACE. 

It anchors your faith on the truth that God’s plan for you is not wishful thinking, positive mental ideology, or man’s opinion. It is a scripturally secured, covenant hope rooted in who God is — His nature, His character, and His love for you. 

  1. THE FOUNDATION: GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU
  • Jeremiah 29:11/NIV: “For I know the PLANS I have for you, declares the Lord, PLANS to PROSPER you and not to harm you, PLANS to give you HOPE and a FUTURE” 
  • God’s assured hope plan is to give you a hopefully blessed future [3 John 1:2]. 
  • This hope outlasts your today and tomorrow because it is built on God’s Word, not circumstances. 
  • You ARE God’s creation’s BEST. You ARE His assured plan. You ARE in His Plan to fulfil a PURPOSE meaningfully in the grace. 
    Hence, you cannot live below your redemption rights and privileges in Christ Jesus’ stead.[prosperous] 
  1. FIRSTLY: THE DEFAULT OF GOD’S LOVE NEVER CHANGES

God LOVES you in spite of what is going on right now — good or challenging times. 

  • Why? Because GOD IS LOVE [1 John 4:8, 16]. He is the definition of love and He upholds His Word above all [Psalm 138:2]. 
  • In love He begot us, washed us, made us kings and priests [Revelation 1:5-6], and commended His love toward us while we were yet sinners [Romans 5:5, 8]. 
  • All things — good and challenging — are working together for your good because you are called according to His purpose [Romans 8:28]. 
  • Do you believe? God will uphold His Word to make His assured promise your reality today and tomorrow. 
  1. SECONDLY: GOD DOES NOT MEASURE YOU BY MEN
  • Your life altitude — whether low or high right now — does not change God’s assured hopeful plan for you. 
  • You are still God’s best. His enabling grace is irrevocable and at its FULNESS for your good. 
  • You are being processed by God so that all things work for your expected end. 
  • What God has for you is within you by the Holy Spirit of revelation. The Spirit is already at work to reveal, manifest and showcase you for God’s glory. 
  • Your destiny is embedded in you. No man can manipulate, control or counterfeit it except you give them that access. 
    You ARE the custodian of your happiness and joy in Christ Jesus’ stead. 
  1. THE HOLY SPIRIT’S ROLE AND YOUR IDENTITY
  • You have been FOREKNOWN, PREDESTINATED, CALLED, JUSTIFIED and GLORIFIED [Romans 8:29-30]. 
  • God has PREPARED things for you that eye has not seen, and He REVEALS them by His Spirit [1 Corinthians 2:9-10]. 
  • You have an inheritance and are predestinated according to the PURPOSE of Him who works all things [Ephesians 1:10-12]. 
  • PRAYER: That you may know the LOVE OF CHRIST which PASSES knowledge, that you may be FILLED with all the FULNESS of God [Ephesians 3:17-19]. 
  1. YOUR POSTURE IN THIS SEASON
  • Rise up, tidy up, raise your head, look upwards. Shake off limitations. 
  • Be heads up, shoulders high and on the high heels of faith in Christ Jesus’ stead. 
  • You are on an onward and upward trajectory to fulfil purpose meaningfully and fruitfully. 
  • DECLARE THIS: “I am God’s made and best and His showcase in the grace with ASSURED HOPE; and I will not fail, because God has never failed and will not fail… For every situation is designed for my becoming and certainly I am becoming by God’s best in process in the grace in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen!”

Dear friend, anchor your faith TODAY.

  3. ALIGN: Give the Holy Spirit access to reveal, process and complete you in God’s predestined plan. 
  4. ACTIVATE: Rise up daily. Shake off limitation. Walk in your redemption rights. Expect a hopeful today and a blessed future. 

The God who began a good work in you will complete it. His assured hope cannot fail. You are in process. You are becoming. And your best is ahead of you in the grace.

AUGUST YOUR LIFE BY GOD’S ENABLING POWER: JESUS DID, SO WERE THE FIRST AND EARLY APOSTLES AND FELLOW BELIEVER’S!

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the CALLED according to HIS PURPOSE . . .” Romans 8:28-30.

The power of God is the enabling of God to accomplish His PURPOSE in your life. Hence, a PURPOSELESS living lifestyle, can’t receive God’s POWER to enable the actualisation of the set out divine PURPOSE of God – in the individual – both in life and godliness, in Christ Jesus stead.

“. . . 11 in whom also we have OBTAINED an inheritance, being PREDESTINATED according to the PURPOSE of him who worketh all things after the COUNSEL of his own will . . .” Ephesians 1:3-12.

Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord, live for God’s given CAUSE and PURPOSE in humanity to accomplish God’s intent for humanity. And for that PURPOSE to be accomplished He was not only ANOINTED with the Holy Spirit, He was also EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit, to fulfill that PURPOSE under God. 1 John 3:8; John 18:37; Luke 4:1-2, 14. Thus, indicating that Christ Jesus in humanity, in order for Him to fulfill God’s PURPOSE, and be able to bear WITNESS of the Gospel truth, could only have accomplished it all by the given POWER of God for that purpose. Just know today for sure and assuredly, that God’s POWER is not a GIVEN for NOTHING. It’s for the PURPOSE of being a WITNESS of God, to humanity in all capacity of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus stead. These places are thus but not limited: marriage, family, ministry, career, business, enterprise, relationship, leadership and such like. In all, it’s about being God’s representative and ambassador with the message of reconciliation to humanity through every avenue of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus stead. The Disciples of Jesus Christ that turns Apostles, live to bear WITNESS of the Gospel of God in Christ Jesus, by the enabling POWER of God in His grace, that was bestowed upon them. Long before Christ Jesus was done of His humanity cause and purpose, He did inform and assured them and to us of today, of the promised POWER of God toward them and us of today, which will give the enabling of fulfilling God’s PURPOSE in humanity for any that comes to Him. “But ye shall receive POWER, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be WITNESSES unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” Acts 1:8.

“And this GOSPEL of the kingdom shall be PREACHED in all the world for a WITNESS unto all nations; and then shall the end come” Matthew 24:14.

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: 27 and ye also shall bear WITNESS, because ye have been with me from the beginning” John 15:26-27.

“And with great POWER gave the apostles WITNESS of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great GRACE was upon them all” Acts 4:33.

“There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a WITNESS, to bear WITNESS of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear WITNESS of that Light . . . 15 John bare WITNESS of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me” John 1:6-8, 15.

“And we know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER for good to them that love God, to them who are the CALLED according to his PURPOSE. 29 For whom he did FOREKNOW, he also did PREDESTINATE to be CONFORMED to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did PREDESTINATE, them he also CALLED: and whom he called, them he also JUSTIFIED: and whom he justified, them he also GLORIFIED”  Romans 8:28-30.
