BE ASSURED AND ENSURED ON – “THE SURE FOUNDATION”

BE ASSURED AND ENSURED ON – “THE SURE FOUNDATION”: BEING BUILT ON – “THE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY” – IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD! 

“We have also a more SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a LIGHT that SHINETH in a DARK PLACE, until the DAY DAWN, and the DAY STAR arise in your hearts” 2 Peter 1:19. 

There’s nothing as inspiring, revealing and empowering when you come to know and understand that your foundation of FAITH in Christ Jesus stead, it’s of THE SURE FOUNDATION and it’s built upon THE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY as it’s written in the above scripture of 2 Peter 1:19, and in these other accompanied scriptures of 1 Corinthians 3:11, and 2 Timothy 2:9, however not limited: 

“For other FOUNDATION can no man lay than that is LAID, which is Jesus Christ” 1 Corinthians 3:11. 

“Nevertheless, the FIRM FOUNDATION of God [which He has LAID] STANDS [SURE and UNSHAKEN despite attacks], bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who ARE His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord STAND APART from wickedness and WITHDRAW from wrongdoing” 2 Timothy 2:19/Amplified. 

And when I mean THE SURE FOUNDATION that is built on THE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY, I do mean the prophecy which you can ENACT and AUTHENTICATE because it TESTIFIES of you and it is TOWARD God and FAITH toward Christ Jesus as touching our REDEMPTION and nothing else. 

For an effectual, sure WORD of prophecy is TOWARD the TESTIMONY OF JESUS in God concerning us in redemption, without prejudice, sentiment and dissimulation; and anything else is falsehood, adulteration, perversion, counterfeit, man-made for self-hype, applause and such like. 

For the TESTIMONY of Jesus IS the true spirit of PROPHECY unto any believer in Christ Jesus. 
More so, the TESTIMONY of Jesus IS the TESTIMONY of God, signifying the TRUE spirit of Prophecy. [Revelation 19:10; 1 Corinthians 2:1-5] 

Upon this ASSURED and ENSURED TESTIMONY, on THE SURE FOUNDATION of THE SURE WORD of God, that GIVES and LEADS the Believers with the enabling to live in the sphere of — a triumphant, a victorious, an overcomer and a MORE THAN CONQUEROR — over the enemy and cohorts in all aspects of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus’ stead, as it is written: 

“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY” Revelation 19:10. 

“And they OVERCAME him by the blood of the Lamb, and by THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY; and they loved not their lives unto the death” Revelation 12:11. 

“And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you THE TESTIMONY of God. 2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, SAVE Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my PREACHING was not with ENTICING WORDS of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 that your faith should not STAND in the wisdom of men, but in the POWER of God” 1 Corinthians 2:1-5. 

And it must be noted that in the NEW CREATION TESTAMENT, the spirit of Prophecy is more of FORTH-TELLING than of FORE-TELLING which is of the OLD CREATION TESTAMENT. For the FORE-TELLING prophecy is as fulfilled in Christ Jesus while the FORTH-TELLING prophecy, is the prophecy of announcing, declaring, pronouncing, proclaiming, professing and confessing the fulfilled deed of Christ Jesus in our REDEMPTION; that is ministering unto our COMFORT, EDIFICATION and EXHORTATION. Anything contrary it’s perversion and adulteration as it’s written: 

“But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT” 1 Corinthians 14:3. 

“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that CALLED you into the grace of Christ unto ANOTHER GOSPEL: 7 which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would PERVERT the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, PREACH any OTHER GOSPEl unto you THAN that which we have PREACHED unto you, let him be ACCURSED. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man PREACH any other GOSPEL unto you THAN that ye have received, let him be ACCURSED” Galatians 1:6-9 [Jude 1:3-4; Philippians 1:15-18]. 

And knowing that the spirit of Prophecy is of God and in Christ Jesus’ stead, and that New Testament prophecy is TOWARD edification, exhortation and comfort, it behoves us to know then that THE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY that is there to ASSURE and ENSURE THE SURE FOUNDATION is Jesus Christ, who then IS the WORD of God in prophecy, as it is written: 

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, THE WORD, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” 1 John 5:7. 

“In the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not . . . 14 And THE WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John 1:1-5, 14. 

Therefore, THE SURE FOUNDATION is ONLY AUTHENTIC when it is COMMUNICATED and ENACTED in every sphere of doing life and living godly IN God in Christ Jesus’ stead — and more so, that is when it is FOUNDED on THE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY — which is Christ Jesus, our Saviour and Lord. 

Hence, we can be EMBOLDENED and ASSURED that our faith communication can then be EFFECTUAL — productive and results-oriented — as we ACKNOWLEDGE EVERY GOOD THING OF GOD in Christ Jesus THAT IS IN us, as it is written: 

“That the COMMUNICATION OF THY FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the ACKNOWLEDGING of EVERY GOOD THING which is IN you IN Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6. 

And by THE SURE WORD, the whole world IS RULED and GOVERNED, SUSTAINED and HELD TOGETHER, such that the things which we see were not made by things which are visible to man, but by the invisible prophetic SURE WORD of God. 

So in every day and moment, THE WORD is being FULFILLED, knowingly or unknowingly.  

“By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that THE WORLDS (universe, ages) were FRAMED and CREATED [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by THE WORD of God, so that what is SEEN was not made out of things which are VISIBLE” Hebrews 11:3/Amplified. 

Therefore, for an ASSURED faith in God in Christ Jesus, you need to ENSURE that you are FOUNDED daily in every context of decision-making on THE SURE FOUNDATION which is built upon THE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY. 

This is to enable you to make an INTENTIONAL decision, in order to HAVE and LIVE in a leverage of thriving that is TOWARD an ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory, and to also keep you STABLE, STRONG, UNDAUNTED, UNCOMPROMISING, GRACIOUS and such like, in God and in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

And it will EQUALLY help you to ENSURE that your FAITH FOUNDATION is not built upon man-made indoctrination which are the consequence of denomination, tradition and all forms of creeds, dogmas and bye-laws that have HELD and KEPT many in religious bondage to suit number-gains and not in the FOLLOWERSHIP and LEADERSHIP of the Holy Spirit of THE SURE FOUNDATION of THE SURE WORD. 

And by your FAITH that is FOUNDED on THE SURE FOUNDATION, which is built upon THE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY, you the believing one in Christ Jesus may go through SHAKING TIMES and PHASES in life as pertaining to anything under the Sun, but you CANNOT, and I repeat — you CANNOT be SHAKEN and CANNOT be DESTROYED by it, but will instead be able by your ASSURED FOUNDATION and ASSURED WORD to speak mysteries of gracious words unto EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION and COMFORT to elevate both you and OTHERS because of THE PREVAILING and GRACIOUS WORD of mysteries that IS BEING EXERCISED to ENACT and AUTHENTICATE matters of life and godliness, as it is written: 

“If the FOUNDATIONS be DESTROYED, what can the RIGHTEOUS do?” Psalms 11:3. 

“Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may PROPHESY. 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he SPEAKETH MYSTERIES. 3 But he that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT” 1 Corinthians 14:1-3. 

“And all bare him (Christ Jesus) WITNESS, and WONDERED at the GRACIOUS WORDS which PROCEEDED out of his MOUTH. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?” Luke 4:22/Emphasis Mine. 

“So mightily grew THE WORD of God and PREVAILED” Acts 19:20. 

It is my earnest PRAYER that you GO FORTH in grace, ENSURING and ASSURING that you LIVE upon THE SURE FOUNDATION that is built upon THE SURE WORD, as you SPEAK FORTH mysteries unto your well-being and that of others, as you do life and live godly, in the graciousness and gracefulness, and BLESSEDNESS of God, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“We have also a more SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that SHINETH in a DARK place, until the DAY DAWN, and the DAY STAR arise in your hearts: 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” 2 Peter 1:19-21. 

“If the FOUNDATIONS be DESTROYED, what can the RIGHTEOUS DO?” Psalms 11:3. 

“According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the FOUNDATION, and another BUILDETH thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 FOR OTHER FOUNDATION CAN NO MAN LAY THAN THAT IS LAID, WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST. 12 Now if any man BUILD upon this FOUNDATION gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16 Know ye not that ye are the TEMPLE of God, and that the Spirit of God DWELLETH in you? 17 If any man DEFILE the TEMPLE of God, him shall God DESTROY; for the TEMPLE of God is HOLY, which TEMPLE ye ARE” 1 Corinthians 3:10-17. 

“Nevertheless the FOUNDATION of God STANDETH SURE, having this SEAL, The Lord KNOWETH them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ DEPART FROM INIQUITY. 20 But in a great house there are not only VESSELS of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to HONOUR, and some to DISHONOUR. 21 If a man therefore PURGE himself from these, he shall be a VESSEL unto HONOUR, SANCTIFIED, and MEET for the MASTER’S use, and PREPARED unto EVERY GOOD WORK” 2 Timothy 2:19-21. 

“Therefore whosoever HEARETH these sayings of mine, and DOETH them, I will liken him unto a WISE man, which BUILT his house upon a ROCK: 25 and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was FOUNDED upon a ROCK. 26 And every one that HEARETH these sayings of mine, and DOETH THEM NOT, shall be likened unto a FOOLISH man, which BUILT his house upon the SAND: 27 and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it” Matthew 7:24-27. 

“The EARTH is the Lord’s, and the FULNESS thereof; the WORLD, and they that DWELL therein. 2 For he hath FOUNDED it upon the seas, and ESTABLISHED it upon the floods. 3 Who shall ASCEND into the HILL of the Lord? or who shall STAND in his HOLY place? 4 He that hath CLEAN hands, and a PURE heart; who hath NOT LIFTED up his soul unto VANITY, nor sworn DECEITFULLY. 5 He shall RECEIVE THE BLESSING from the Lord, and RIGHTEOUSNESS from the God of his SALVATION” Psalms 24:1-5. 

“Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me. 12 I have MADE the earth, and CREATED man upon it: I, even my hands, have STRETCHED out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded” Psalms 45:11-12.

“Let us HOLD FAST THE CONFESSION of our HOPE (FAITH) without wavering, for He who promised is faithful” Hebrews 10:23. 

“Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, LET US HOLD FAST OUR CONFESSION” Hebrews 4:14/NKJV. 

“A man’s STOMACH shall be SATISFIED from the FRUIT OF HIS MOUTH; From the produce of HIS LIPS he shall be FILLED. 21 DEATH and LIFE are in the POWER of the TONGUE, And those who LOVE it will EAT its fruit” Proverbs 18:20-21/NKJV. 

“You are SNARED by THE WORDS of your mouth; You are TAKEN by THE WORDS of your mouth” Proverbs 6:2/NKJV. 

SUMMARY 
The message is A PROPHETIC CHARGE TO BE FOUNDED, STAY FOUNDED, AND LIVE DAILY UPON “THE SURE FOUNDATION” WHICH IS “THE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY” — CHRIST JESUS — SO THAT YOUR FAITH BECOMES ASSURED, EFFECTUAL AND UNSHAKEN IN EVERY SPHERE OF LIFE. 

It establishes that every true prophecy, doctrine and Christian living must POINT TO, TESTIFY OF, AND BE BUILT UPON Jesus Christ and His finished work of Redemption. Anything outside this is perversion. When we ENACT and AUTHENTICATE this SURE WORD, we live as MORE THAN CONQUERORS.

1. THE FOUNDATION IS IDENTIFIED: CHRIST, THE SURE WORD

• THE SURE FOUNDATION is Jesus Christ — “For other FOUNDATION can no man lay than that is LAID, which is Jesus Christ” — 1 Corinthians 3:11

• Your faith communication becomes EFFECTUAL as you ACKNOWLEDGE EVERY GOOD THING OF GOD THAT IS IN YOU IN CHRIST JESUS — Philemon 1:6 

• It enables INTENTIONAL living with an ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory. 

• It keeps you STABLE, STRONG, UNDAUNTED, UNCOMPROMISING, GRACIOUS. 

• Even in SHAKING TIMES, you CANNOT BE SHAKEN nor DESTROYED because you are FOUNDED on THE ROCK — Matthew 7:24-25

5. THE WARNING: REJECT MAN-MADE FOUNDATIONS

• Do not build on man-made indoctrination, denomination, tradition, creeds, dogmas and bye-laws that keep people in religious bondage for number-gains instead of Holy Spirit leadership. 

• Every man must TAKE HEED HOW HE BUILDETH upon the Foundation — 1 Corinthians 3:10-13 

• You are the TEMPLE OF GOD and the Spirit DWELLETH in you — 1 Corinthians 3:16  

6. THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BELIEVER: SPEAK FORTH

• As one FOUNDED on THE SURE WORD, you are to SPEAK MYSTERIES OF GRACIOUS WORDS unto EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION and COMFORT to elevate yourself and OTHERS — 1 Corinthians 14:1-3 

• DEATH and LIFE are in the POWER of the TONGUE — Proverbs 18:21 

• HOLD FAST THE CONFESSION of your hope without wavering — Hebrews 10:23 

CALL TO ACTION: 

1. ENSURE & ASSURE:
   Daily ENSURE that every decision you make is FOUNDED on THE SURE FOUNDATION of THE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY. ASSURE your heart that Christ is your only Foundation.
2. RECEIVE & ENACT:
   Stop begging for what Redemption has already DONE. RECEIVE THE SURE WORD, ACKNOWLEDGE every good thing in you in Christ, and ENACT & AUTHENTICATE it through confession and action.
3. SPEAK FORTH & BUILD OTHERS:
   GO FORTH in grace. SPEAK FORTH mysteries of the Kingdom. Use your mouth to minister EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION and COMFORT to yourself and to others.
4. DEPART & STAND APART:
   DEPART FROM INIQUITY and withdraw from wrongdoing. Purge yourself to become a vessel unto HONOUR, sanctified and prepared for every good work — 2 Timothy 2:19-21
