RESENTMENT

RESENTMENT – The Beautiful And Colourful Lesson Learnt From My Wife: To LOVE And PRAY For Those Whom You Tend To RESENT And Who RESENT You! 

“When a man’s ways PLEASE the Lord, he MAKETH even his ENEMIES to be at peace with him” Proverbs 16:7. 

“If thine ENEMY be HUNGRY, GIVE him bread to EAT; and if he be THIRSTY, GIVE him water to DRINK: 22 for thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee” Proverbs 25:21-22. 

RESENTMENT is BITTER INDIGNATION at having been TREATED UNFAIRLY and BADLY; and it is a mixture of DISAPPOINTMENT, ANGER, WRATH and FEAR. It comprises the three basic emotions of DISGUST, SADNESS and SURPRISE — the PERCEPTION of INJUSTICE. 

If you must live COLOURFUL, FREE, PEACEFUL and ENJOY the FULNESS of Christ’s REDEMPTION for you, you must CULTIVATE the acts of LOVE, and to PRAY for the one you tend to RESENT and the one who is RESENTING you. 

It is the gracious, beautiful and colourful lesson I heard and learnt from my wife years ago to deal with human DIFFERENCE and INDIFFERENCE. And it CERTAINLY has worked and keeps working for all who have been COUNSELLED along it, in dealing with various matters of life in human relationships: Family, Spouses, Friends, Workplace Colleagues, Leadership, Gospel Ministry and such like. 

I can boldly affirm that it works because Christ Jesus, in one of His SERMON ON THE MOUNT TEACHINGS, made similar statements to us about LOVING, RELATING and PRAYING for our ENEMIES and those who DESPITEFULLY mistreat us in every respect of doing life and godly living. [Matthew 5:38-48]. 

The best way to OVERCOME and TRIUMPH in beauty and colour over RESENTMENT is to LOVE, and to PRAY for the one you ARE RESENTING or who is RESENTING you. For you cannot be ABLE to RESENT the PERSON you LOVE and you are PRAYING for and about without expecting results, except you are playing and unserious — and especially if you truly WANT, BELIEVE and EXPECT God to ANSWER such PRAYERS of yours. Otherwise you are making a mockery of yourself before God, because God cannot be mocked [Galatians 6:7-10]. 

And in the same way, you will ALWAYS RESENT the PERSON you DO NOT see the NEED to PRAY for, much less to LOVE, as the Scriptures earnestly require and put a demand on us to love, in order to be God’s genuine DISCIPLE, in Christ Jesus’ stead. [John 13:34-35; John 15:12-14]. Amen. 

Therefore, SET YOURSELF FREE WITH LOVE AND PRAYER — It’s the ANTIDOTE to RESENTMENT. 
Give it a goal to do today, and you will witness peace and joy indescribable and incomprehensible, both for yourself and for the good of all, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. [Romans 5:5-11]. 

Set yourself FREE with LOVE and PRAYER — it’s the ANTIDOTE to RESENTMENT, at least for your own innermost peace and quietness. Give it a goal today and you will witness peace and joy indescribable for yourself. 

I pray you know and understand that LOVE and PRAYERS will work for you to deal with RESENTMENT today and always. 

You need to PLEASE God to make your enemy and cohorts to be at PEACE with you [Proverbs 16:7]. And you can only PLEASE God by FAITH [Hebrews 11:6]. And FAITH only WORKS by LOVE [Galatians 5:6, 13]. 

And God’s LOVE is without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation — and it is the antidote to deal with enemy and cohorts Scripturally [Romans 12:9-21; Proverbs 25:21-22; Matthew 5:36-48]. 

Hence, you can deal with resentment in the way Scripturally laid out in the context of this discussion if you want solutions God’s way and path and not your self-seeking way and path. 

And BLESSED regards in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS as you BEGIN to enjoy the needed and resultant PEACE born from acting in DIFFERENCE instead of INDIFFERENCE from the norm — “an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth” — the golden rule. 

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is SHED ABROAD IN OUR HEARTS by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us. 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 BUT GOD COMMENDETH HIS LOVE TOWARD US, IN THAT, WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US. 9 Much more then, being now JUSTIFIED by his blood, we shall be SAVED FROM WRATH through him. 10 For if, when we were ENEMIES, we were RECONCILED to God by the death of his Son, much more, BEING RECONCILED, we shall be SAVED BY HIS LIFE. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now RECEIVED the atonement” Romans 5:5-11. 

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR, and HATE THINE ENEMY. 44 But I say unto you, LOVE your ENEMIES, BLESS them that CURSE you, do GOOD to them that HATE you, and PRAY for them which DESPITEFULLY use you, and PERSECUTE you; 45 that ye may be the CHILDREN of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye LOVE them which LOVE you, what REWARD have ye? do not even the PUBLICANS the same? 47 And if ye SALUTE your BRETHREN only, what do ye more than others? do not even the PUBLICANS so? 48 Be ye therefore PERFECT (Complete, Whole, Mature), even as your Father which is in heaven is PERFECT (Complete, Whole, Mature)” Matthew 5:43-47 (Emphasis Mine).

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 for the WRATH of man WORKETH not the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God” James 1:19-20.

“So then FAITH COMETH BY HEARING, and HEARING by THE WORD of God” Romans 10:17. 
 
SUMMARY 
The message teaches that RESENTMENT is a bitter, destructive emotion, and the only Scriptural ANTIDOTE to OVERCOME and TRIUMPH over it is to LOVE and PRAY for the person you resent and who resents you. This was a lesson learnt from the author’s wife and it mirrors Christ’s teaching on the Sermon on the Mount. When we choose LOVE and PRAYER over retaliation, we walk in God’s peace, redemption, and become genuine DISCIPLES of Christ.

  1. DEFINITION AND ROOT OF RESENTMENT
    What it is: RESENTMENT is BITTER INDIGNATION at having been TREATED UNFAIRLY and BADLY.

    The Test of Discipleship – We MUST LOVE and PRAY, even for those who don’t deserve it. This is the demand of Scripture to be God’s genuine DISCIPLE. John 13:34-35; John 15:12-14  
  1. THE BIBLICAL PATTERN AND PROMISES
    God’s Example – Romans 5:5-11 
    “BUT GOD COMMENDETH HIS LOVE TOWARD US, IN THAT, WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US.” 
    When we were ENEMIES, we were RECONCILED to God by the death of His Son. 
    Practical Action – Proverbs 25:21-22; Romans 12:19-21 
    “If thine ENEMY be HUNGRY, GIVE him bread to EAT; and if he be THIRSTY, GIVE him water to DRINK… Be not OVERCOME of evil, but OVERCOME evil with good.”

    Personal Testimony: This is the gracious lesson learnt from the author’s wife. It CERTAINLY has worked and keeps working for those COUNSELLED in Family, Marriage, Workplace, Leadership, Ministry and such like. 
    It Sets You Free: SET YOURSELF FREE WITH LOVE AND PRAYER — It’s the ANTIDOTE to RESENTMENT for your own innermost peace and quietness. 
    God’s Love is the Key: God’s LOVE is without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation — and it is the antidote to deal with enemy and cohorts Scripturally. Romans 12:9-21.  
  1. THE CHOICE: DIFFERENCE VS INDIFFERENCE

Instead of the world’s norm of “an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth”, we are called to act in DIFFERENCE — responding with LOVE, PRAYER and GOOD instead of INDIFFERENCE and retaliation. 

CALL TO ACTION 

  1. IDENTIFY RESENTMENT: Acknowledge any BITTER INDIGNATION, ANGER or WRATH you are holding toward anyone today.
  2. CHOOSE LOVE AND PRAYER: Make it a GOAL TODAY to LOVE and to PRAY for the one you ARE RESENTING and the one who is RESENTING you. Pray sincerely, believing God will answer. 
  3. ACT IN GOOD: If your enemy is hungry, FEED them. If thirsty, GIVE them drink. Do good to those who despitefully use you. Proverbs 25:21-22; Romans 12:20 
  4. WALK BY FAITH AND LOVE: PLEASE God by FAITH, knowing that FAITH WORKS BY LOVE. This is how you overcome evil with good. 
  5. EXPECT PEACE AND JOY: As you do this, you will witness peace and joy indescribable and incomprehensible, both for yourself and for the good of all, in Christ Jesus’ stead. And God will make even your enemies to be at peace with you.

IN GOD’S LIGHT IN CHRIST JESUS

IN GOD’S LIGHT IN CHRIST JESUS: BE INCLINED TO BE A BEAM – FOR YOU WILL FIND LIFE AND ILLUMINATED LIGHT IN HIM! 

“For God, who commanded the LIGHT to shine OUT of darkness, hath SHINED in our HEARTS (SPIRIT-BEING), to give the LIGHT of THE KNOWLEDGE of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” 2 Corinthians 4:6/Emphasis Mine. 

The Moon has no light of its own. 

In the cause of the eclipse system, it rotates on its orbit and inclines towards the Sun. 
When its inclination to the Sun’s rays of light is partial, we have partial moonlight or partial eclipses of the sun. When it is at a full, centred, inclined position, it receives the full rays or beam of light from the Sun. Then we say it is a full or total moon, or total eclipses of the sun, because the moon is glowing in fullness. And when the Moon moves totally away from the Sun, we experience complete darkness and we call it a dark moon or dark eclipses of the sun. 

In the same way, we have no light in ourselves, and Jesus is the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. 
When we are fully, partially, or not at all inclined to Him, we experience the same results as the moon in all about our living and doing life. 

I urge you today, to INCLINE to the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS and you will see the FULLNESS of you GLOWING in grace, health, prosperity, peace, success, love and more. 
And you can only incline through His sayings, not someone else’s or your own sayings. 

You can bank on His PROMISED WORD today by inclining to the light that shines out of darkness, that God has shined into our hearts in order to radiate the fulness of God in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“For with thee is the FOUNTAIN OF LIFE: in thy LIGHT SHALL WE SEE LIGHT” Psalms 36:9. 

“But for you who FEAR my name, the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.” (Malachi 4:2). 

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD: he that followeth me shall not WALK IN DARKNESS, but shall have THE LIGHT OF LIFE” John 8:12.

“YE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” Matthew 5:14-16. 

SUMMARY: 
The message is that just as the moon has no light of its own and only glows when inclined to the sun, we as believers have no light in ourselves. Jesus is the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, and the measure to which we incline to Him and His Word determines how much of God’s life, light, grace and glory we reflect and experience.

  1. God’s Light Shines in Our Hearts Through Christ 
    “For God, who commanded the LIGHT to shine OUT of darkness, hath SHINED in our HEARTS, to give the LIGHT of THE KNOWLEDGE of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” — 2 Corinthians 4:6. 
    This light is the life of God deposited in us at new birth.
  2. The Moon Analogy: Our Life Depends on Inclination 
    The moon has no light of its own. 
    Partial inclination = partial moonlight / partial eclipse. 
    Full inclination = full moon / total eclipse — glowing in fullness. 
    No inclination = dark moon / darkness. 
    In the same way, when we are fully, partially, or not at all inclined to Jesus, we experience corresponding results in our living.
  3. Jesus is the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS and THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD 
    In Him is life, and that life is the light of men — John 1:4. 
    To follow Him means we will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life — John 8:12. 
    For those who fear His name, the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS will rise with healing — Malachi 4:2.
  4. We Incline Through His Word 
    “INCLINE THINE EAR UNTO MY SAYINGS… For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh” — Proverbs 4:20-22. 
    You can only incline through His sayings, not someone else’s or your own. The path of the just shines brighter and brighter — Proverbs 4:18. 
  5. We Are Called to BE THE LIGHT / BEAMS 
    “YE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD… Let your light so shine before men” — Matthew 5:14-16. 
    God’s purpose is that we radiate the fulness of God in Christ Jesus’ stead, dispelling darkness.
  6. The Fountain of Life is in God 
    “For with thee is the FOUNTAIN OF LIFE: in thy LIGHT SHALL WE SEE LIGHT” — Psalms 36:9. 

Call to Action: 

  1. INCLINE TO THE SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS – Deliberately turn to Jesus and His Word daily. 
  2. ATTEND TO GOD’S WORD – Bank on His PROMISED WORD. Let it dwell richly in your heart. 
  3. BE A BEAM / REFLECT HIS LIGHT – Allow God’s light in you to glow in grace, health, prosperity, peace, success, love and more. 
  4. DO NOT WALK IN DARKNESS – Reject partial or zero inclination. Choose full alignment with Christ so your light shines. 
  5. RADIATE GOD TO OTHERS – As light bearers, let your good works cause men to glorify your Father in heaven.

EXPRESSING LIFE BY LOVE

EXPRESSING LIFE BY LOVE: FOR LOVE IS THE GREATEST – THE MORE AND MOST EXCELLENT WAY TO DO LIFE AND LIVE GODLY! 

“But COVET EARNESTLY THE BEST GIFTS: and yet shew I unto you A MORE EXCELLENT WAY . . “ 1 Corinthians 12:31 – 1 Corinthians 13. 

What an awesome BLESSEDNESS, to hear Jesus saying now and always — “GO AND DO LIKEWISE”. This means GO and express LIFE through the EYES of LOVE and CARE; even when you are too busy — because as His set standard, if you are truly going to be His Disciple, love like Jesus. 

In other words — DON’T BE SO HEAVENLY MINDED [MINDFUL] AND OF NO EARTHLY GOOD. 
That is the message to all in Luke 10:25-37, the parable of the Good Samaritan. 

Let nothing come between you with distinctions of persons, as the following did to the man in need through indifference, sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation: 

The PRIEST 

The LEVITES [Leadership Associate/Assistants] 

And YOU [In and of any Capacity — Position, Status [Leadership] 

Know henceforth that Jesus was and is endorsing the need of the hour and moment for all times — LOVING and LIVING BEYOND WALLS and BOUNDARIES of Creed, Colour, Tradition, Denomination, Culture, Tongue, Belief/Faith, Nations, and more, as in our redemption 

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED US to God by thy blood out of every KINDRED, and TONGUE, and PEOPLE, and NATION; 10 and hast MADE US unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth” Revelation 5:9-10. 

“Christ hath REDEEMED US from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith . . . 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is NEITHER Jew NOR Greek, there is NEITHER bond NOR free, there is NEITHER male NOR female: for ye ARE ALL ONE in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” Galatians 3:13-14, 26-29. 

For ALL humans are God’s, irrespective of geography, colour, gender, tongue, looks, belief, and such like, even as written — though not limited to — in these further Scriptures: Acts 17:24-28; Galatians 5:6, 13; Galatians 6:14-15 / 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 10:11-13; John 13:34-35; John 15:13-14; 1 John 3-5:3. 

Therefore — “GO AND DO LIKEWISE” — Jesus said to ALL. 

Do this by expressing LIFE through LOVE and CARE, even when you are too busy — for therein is God working out His PURPOSE in you and through you in His grace. 

MAY YOU BE BLESSED IN GOD’S GRACE AND BLESSEDNESS AS YOU “GO AND DO LIKEWISE IN CHRIST JESUS’ STEAD”. AMEN.

“The God who CREATED the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; 25 nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, because it is He who gives to ALL [people] LIFE and BREATH and ALL THINGS. 26 And He MADE from one man every nation of mankind to live on the face of the earth, having DETERMINED their appointed TIMES and the BOUNDARIES of their LANDS and TERRITORIES. 27 This was so that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grasp for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. 28 FOR IN HIM WE LIVE and MOVE and EXIST [that is, in Him we actually HAVE OUR BEING], as even some of your own poets have said, ‘FOR WE ALSO ARE HIS CHILDREN” Acts 17:24-28 Amplified.

SUMMARY: 

The message is a call for all believers to live out the Christian life through love and care, following Jesus’ command to “GO AND DO LIKEWISE”. It teaches that love is the most excellent way, transcends every human barrier, and is the practical proof of discipleship. 

Key Points: 

  1. Love is the Most Excellent Way 
    Quoting 1 Corinthians 12:31–13, the message emphasises that of all spiritual gifts, love is the greatest. To “express LIFE by LOVE” is God’s set standard for godly living.
  2. The Parable of the Good Samaritan as Our Pattern – Luke 10:25-37 
    Jesus answers “Who is my neighbour?” by showing that a neighbour is anyone in need. The Priest and Levite failed through indifference, prejudice and religion without compassion. The Samaritan showed mercy across cultural and religious boundaries. The command is: “GO, AND DO THOU LIKEWISE.”
  3. Discipleship Means Loving Beyond Walls and Boundaries 
    We must not be “so heavenly minded and of no earthly good.” True discipleship means loving and living beyond Creed, Colour, Tradition, Denomination, Culture, Tongue, Belief/Faith, Nations, and more.
  4. Redemption Makes Us One in Christ 
    Supported by Revelation 5:9-10 and Galatians 3:13-14, 26-29, the message declares that Christ redeemed people “out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.” In Christ there is NEITHER Jew NOR Greek, bond NOR free, male NOR female — for we ARE ALL ONE and heirs of the promise.
  5. All Humanity Belongs to God – Acts 17:24-28 
    God made from one man every nation, determined their times and boundaries so that they would seek Him. “IN HIM WE LIVE and MOVE and EXIST.” Therefore ALL humans are God’s, irrespective of geography, colour, gender, tongue, looks, belief, etc. See also Galatians 5:6, 13; Galatians 6:14-15 / 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 10:11-13; John 13:34-35; John 15:13-14; 1 John 3-5:3.
  6. Practical Expression of Love 
    Express LIFE through LOVE and CARE, even when you are busy. This is how God works out His PURPOSE in you and through you by His grace. 

Call to Action: 

  1. GO AND DO LIKEWISE – Let Jesus’ command be your daily practice. 
  2. Express Life by Love – Intentionally show love and care to people, especially when it is inconvenient or crosses boundaries. 
  3. Remove Barriers – Do not let distinctions of position, status, creed, colour, or denomination hinder you from showing mercy. 
  4. Be a Good Neighbour – Like the Samaritan, stop, see the need, and meet it. 
  5. Live as One in Christ – Remember our redemption has made us one family, kings and priests to God.

THE BLESSED HOLY SPIRIT IS FOR OUR COLOURFUL LIVING: HE’S OUR MEDICINE AND DAILY MEDICINAL TO A GRACIOUS AND GRACEFUL WELL BEING! 

“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever— [17] the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you . . . [26] But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you ” John 14:16-17, 26/Amplified. 

I beckon on you today to engage with the BLESSED Holy Spirit in order to colour your world with life and godly living in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

Herein are the works of the Holy Spirit today, as He did in Christ Jesus in humanity for our earthly good and goodness: 

  • To preach good tidings unto the meek 
  • To bind up the broken-hearted 
  • To proclaim liberty to the captives 
  • The opening of the prison to them that are bound 
  • To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord 
  • The day of vengeance of our God 
  • To comfort all that mourn 

In order to authenticate and enact the Holy Spirit’s anointed appointments and discharges in Zion — the Church — which is you; and to endorse the gracious life and godly living as accomplished in Christ Jesus, you need to get on to COLOUR your WORLD. 

That means to PUT ON the daily walk of grace as commissioned in the Holy Spirit’s works. 

Herein is what you need to PUT ON to colour your world graciously: 

  • BEAUTY FOR ASHES 
  • THE OIL OF JOY FOR MOURNING 
  • THE GARMENT OF PRAISE FOR THE SPIRIT OF HEAVINESS 

And by these, God will be GLORIFIED and you will be called: 

  • THE TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS 
  • THE PLANTING OF THE LORD 

When you engage today with the Anointed Spirit to colour your world in life and godly living, your world will never be the same again. 

For you ARE the TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, THE PLANTING OF THE LORD for Him to be GLORIFIED. 

Therefore, colour your world in these gracious regards by putting on: 

  • BEAUTY FOR ASHES 
  • THE OIL OF JOY FOR MOURNING 
  • THE GARMENT OF PRAISE FOR THE SPIRIT OF HEAVINESS 

Be Blessed in LIFE and GODLINESS in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

IN GOD’S PRESENCE: BE AN ABIDING DWELLER, NOT A VISITING GUEST! 

“As the deer PANTS for the water brooks, So PANTS my soul for You, O God. 2 My soul THIRSTS for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? . . .” Psalms 42:1-11/NKJV 

“If ye ABIDE in me, and my words ABIDE in you, ye shall ASK what ye will, and it shall be DONE unto you” John 15:17. s

“Thou wilt shew me the PATH of LIFE: in thy PRESENCE is FULNESS of joy; at thy RIGHT HAND there are PLEASURES for evermore” Psalms 16:11. 

The Scriptures say that it is those who DWELL in God’s PRESENCE — the secret place of the Most High — consistently and diligently, who can ABIDE under the shadow of His wings. 

For in the PATH of LIFE, it is only in God’s PRESENCE that there is the FULNESS of joy and PLEASURES forevermore. For God REWARDS those who DILIGENTLY seek Him without a shadow of doubt and turning — Hebrews 11:6; Psalm 91:1; Psalm 16:11. 

Therefore, stop being a VISITOR and a VISITING GUEST into God’s PRESENCE if you desire the FULNESS of His enabling GRACE and BLESSEDNESS. Be a DWELLER and ABIDING person, so that His ABIDING WINGS will carry you along in LIFE and GODLY LIVING. 

There is nothing as gracious and graceful as abiding in God’s PRESENCE 24/7. 
Do you mean 24/7 in His presence? YES! It is not about sleeping in the church building or locking yourself up in a secluded place — it is about living in the abiding CONSCIOUSNESS of His bids and leads in every aspect of DOING LIFE AND GODLY LIVING. 

And this is made possible by the Holy Spirit who is given to us and who dwells in us, in Christ Jesus’ stead. For it is not just about HAVING the Holy Spirit in you, but about being LED by Him in His CONSCIOUS PRESENCE in you, in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

Make it your daily goal. You will not have any cause to regret it — Romans 8:14-17.

    It is not just about HAVING the Holy Spirit, but about being LED by Him. 
    As we dwell in love, we dwell in God and God in us — 1 John 4:15-16. This produces boldness and sonship. 

CALL TO ACTION 

  1. STOP VISITING, START DWELLING. 
    Make a deliberate decision to move from being a guest in God’s presence to a resident. Be consistent and diligent — Psalm 91:1. 
  2. CULTIVATE THIRST. 
    Like the deer pants for water, let your soul pant for God daily. Create time to seek Him without doubt or turning — Psalm 42:1-2; Hebrews 11:6. 
  3. LIVE CONSCIOUS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT 24/7. 
    Practice hearing His bids and leads in your work, family, decisions and relationships. He is in you to lead you — Romans 8:14. 
  4. ABIDE IN HIS WORD. 
    “If ye ABIDE in me, and my words ABIDE in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you” — John 15:17. 
    Let the Word and His presence shape your daily life.

THE THINK TANK – ON THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 

“Thou CROWNEST THE YEAR WITH THY GOODNESS; AND THY PATHS DROP FATNESS [ABUNDANCE] . . . “ Psalms 65:11-13. 

The month of OCTOBER is the tenth month of the Julian and Gregorian Calendars. 
What then is so special about the tenth month that is WORTH pondering and considering in life matters? 

I say this because I have seen posts and statements of some indicating ‘DOOM AND GLOOM’ in the name of “MBER” months, of which the month of OCTOBER is a part. Some posts, comments and statements are also directed toward the year ending. 
I sense all these are probably because of events that have happened to these individuals personally, or the general feeling of the environment, especially economically at the moment, or a cast of fear to make or break into the unexpected before the end of the year, or something else best known to the respective persons. 

However, herein are a few thoughts [not mine] that I want you to look into and make a meaningful note for yourself in this write-up: 

  1.  What is the SIGNIFICANCE of the number 10 in the metric system? 
    In the metric system of measurement, designations of multiples and subdivisions of any unit may be arrived at by combining with the name of the unit the prefixes deka, hecto, and kilo — otherwise, 10, 100, and 1000 — and deci, centi, and milli — otherwise, one-tenth, one-hundredth, and one-thousandth, and so forth.
  2. What is SPECIAL about the number 10? 
    The number 10 is an even natural number following 9 and preceding 11. Ten is the base of the decimal numeral system, by far the most common system of denoting numbers in both spoken and written language. The reason for the choice of ten is assumed to be that humans have ten fingers and toes. 
     The number 10 is known as a symbol of the authority of God and His government on the earth. This number can also symbolise responsibility, law and completeness. Actually, the number 10 is considered to be the symbol of obedience and responsibility of people towards God’s law. Remember the Ten Commandments!
  3. What does the number 10 mean in BIBLICAL NUMEROLOGY? 
    The number 10 in the Bible is a symbol of perfection, harmony and creation. This number is one of the most powerful and most widely spread, as well as 3, 7 and 12. It is also a number of integration, discipline, laws and wholeness. The phrase “God said” is repeated 10 times in Genesis.
  4. Does the BIBLE say to give 10 of your income? 
    A tithe is 10% of your income given specifically to your local church. [Fun fact: The word tithe literally means tenth in Hebrew]. So, Scripture explains that: [1] tithing is an important part of faith for those who follow God and [2] your tithe should be money you set aside first.
  5. What does the number 10 mean in HEBREW? 
    The number 10 is the gematria of the Hebrew letter י Yodh, or in Yiddish: ‘Yud‘ stands for ‘Jew‘. It is therefore linked to the Tetragrammaton. The Ten Commandments [עשרת הדברות, Aseret HaDibrot, literally “Ten Utterances”]. The Ten Plagues of Egypt. 

These essences above, and such like that are not mentioned in my summary, indicate that the number 10 and the tenth month, OCTOBER, mean that your DAYS, MONTHS and YEARS are crowned by God for your GOODNESS and ABUNDANCE in His BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

And there is NO room for you to REGRET at all by ANY of the DAYS and or MONTHS and or YEARS, no matter the event or circumstances that have befallen or that are before you presently in matters of doing LIFE and GODLY LIVING. 

The DAYS, MONTHS and YEARS are God-MADE in the context of the scriptures: Psalm 65:11-13; Psalm 118:24; Ecclesiastes 3:11 respectively. 

You should arise in your FAITH in Christ Jesus’ stead, to BEAUTIFY and LOVELILY COLOUR your WORLDS — signifying your person, family, finance, career, relationship and such like — in the FAITH of God in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

That is how you BECOME not only THE DIFFERENCE but MAKE THE DIFFERENCE as the NEW CREATION AMBASSADOR of Christ Jesus — 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Galatians 6:14-15. 

There are TWELVE months in a year, and God has not only crowned the months, but has made each MONTH to be FRUITFUL. That is to say, that you can THRIVE and be PRODUCTIVE after its kind for the good and goodness of you, the nation — for you and your family are God’s nation, as God told Abraham in the Holy Scriptures: Genesis 12:1-3. And of fruitfulness and abundance: Ezekiel 47:12; Revelation 22:1-2. 

Be blessed, and in the grace of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

“Thou CROWNEST THE YEAR WITH THY GOODNESS; AND THY PATHS DROP FATNESS (ABUNDANCE). 12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side. 13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing” Psalms 65:11-13 (Emphasis Mine). 

“This is THE DAY which the Lord hath MADE; we will rejoice and be glad in it” Psalms 118:24. 

“And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: IT SHALL BRING FORTH NEW FRUIT ACCORDING TO HIS MONTHS, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, AND THE LEAF THEREOF FOR MEDICINE” Ezekiel 47:12. 

“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare TWELVE manner of fruits, and YIELDED her fruit EVERY MONTH: and the LEAVES OF THE TREE were for the HEALING OF THE NATIONS” Revelation 22:1-2. 

“He has MADE EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL and APPROPRIATE IN ITS TIME. He has also planted ETERNITY [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end” Ecclesiastes 3:11 Amplified. 

SUMMARY: 

The message is a charge for the month of OCTOBER — the TENTH MONTH — declaring that your DAYS, MONTHS and YEARS are CROWNED by God for GOODNESS and ABUNDANCE, and there is no room for DOOM, GLOOM or REGRET because the number 10 signifies God’s authority, law, completeness and blessing.

    The message counters this: OCTOBER, the 10th month, is not a month of fear but a month to ponder God’s goodness — Psalm 65:11-13.
  2. THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE NUMBER 10 
    Metric System: Base for multiples and subdivisions — deka, hecto, kilo = 10, 100, 1000. deci, centi, milli = one-tenth, one-hundredth, one-thousandth. 
    Natural/Decimal System: 10 is the base of our number system because humans have ten fingers and toes. 
    Authority & Government: 10 symbolises God’s authority, law, responsibility, obedience and completeness. Remember the Ten Commandments. 
    Biblical Numerology: 10 means perfection, harmony, creation, integration, discipline and wholeness. “God said” is repeated 10 times in Genesis. 
    Tithing: Tithe means “tenth”. It is 10% of income set aside first to God — an act of faith. 
    Hebrew: 10 is the gematria of Yodh י, linked to ‘Yud’ = ‘Jew’ and the Tetragrammaton. Also seen in the Ten Commandments and Ten Plagues of Egypt.
  3. THE PROPHETIC APPLICATION TO OCTOBER 
    Because 10 speaks of God’s crown, law and completeness, the tenth month OCTOBER means your DAYS, MONTHS and YEARS are crowned by God for GOODNESS and ABUNDANCE in Christ Jesus’ stead. 
    “Thou CROWNEST THE YEAR WITH THY GOODNESS; AND THY PATHS DROP FATNESS [ABUNDANCE]” — Psalm 65:11-13
  4. NO ROOM FOR REGRET 
    Days, months and years are God-MADE — Psalm 118:24; Ecclesiastes 3:11. 
    Therefore, no matter what has happened or is before you, there is NO room to regret. God makes everything beautiful in its time.
  5. THE CALL TO FRUITFULNESS AND IMPACT 
    There are 12 months, and God has made each month FRUITFUL. You are to THRIVE and be PRODUCTIVE — like trees in Ezekiel 47:12 and Revelation 22:1-2 that yield fruit every month and leaves for healing of the nations. 
    As a NEW CREATION AMBASSADOR — 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Galatians 6:14-15 — you are to BEAUTIFY and COLOUR your WORLDS: person, family, finance, career. You and your family are God’s nation as promised to Abraham — Genesis 12:1-3. You are to BE THE DIFFERENCE and MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. 

CALL TO ACTION 

  1. REJECT FEAR, EMBRACE THE CROWN. 
    Refuse the “doom and gloom” narrative of MBER months. Declare: This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice in it — Psalm 118:24. 
  2. PONDER THE MEANING OF 10. 
    Meditate on authority, law, obedience and completeness. Align your life to God’s Word and government this month. 
  3. HONOUR GOD FIRST. 
    Practice the principle of the tithe — giving your first 10% to God. It positions you for His crown of goodness and abundance.
  4. ARISE IN FAITH TO BEAUTIFY YOUR WORLD. 
    Speak, plan and act in faith to colour your person, family, finance and career with God’s goodness. You are a New Creation Ambassador. 
  5. THRIVE AND BE FRUITFUL AFTER YOUR KIND. 
    Like the trees in Ezekiel and Revelation, yield fruit every month. Let your life bring healing and provision to your nation and generation.

IT’S YOUR NEW DAWN DAY: TO RISE ABOVE COMPLEXITY AND MEDIOCRITY AS YOU STEP INTO YOUR DAWN DAY IN THE GRACE! 

“That is why I remind you to fan into flame the gracious gift of God, [that inner fire—the special endowment] which is in you through the laying on of my hands [with those of the elders at your ordination]. 7 For God did not give us a spirit of TIMIDITY or COWARDICE or FEAR, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]” 2 Timothy 1:7/Amplified. 

It’s time to EXERCISE your place of DOMINION in Christ Jesus’ stead, and to RISE ABOVE all forms of COMPLEXITY and MEDIOCRITY that have befallen you in the PATH of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus’ stead. [2 Timothy 1:6-7/Amplified; Romans 6:14; Luke 10:17-20; Genesis 1:26-28; Romans 5:1-2] 

The paths of COMPLEXITY and MEDIOCRITY are real in life, but there is a more gracious and graceful PATH for the JUSTIFIED and RIGHTEOUS in Christ Jesus — [Romans 5:1-3, 17-21; Proverbs 4:18; Psalm 16:11] 

You can only rise above a complex and mediocre life status when you live through KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING in Christ Jesus’ stead. 
That is, when you come to the place of ACKNOWLEDGING what that GOOD is which has been done in you in Christ Jesus — that the Father God has GIVEN and EMPOWERED you with as your default POSSESSION in all things that pertain to doing LIFE and GODLINESS.  Even as Jesus KNEW and then ROSE ABOVE it ALL in humanity. [Philemon 1:6; 2 Peter 1:3-4; John 14:30] 

You need to MAXIMISE your day today through KNOWING and RISING ABOVE your complex and mediocre path and battle — Ephesians 3:17-19. 
Then GO ENACTING and APPROPRIATING who you are in Christ Jesus’ stead — 1 John 4:4-6. 
That is, by ENSURING and EXERCISING this KNOWING of who you ARE in Him, in order to enjoy His grace, wisdom and speed in His BLESSEDNESS. For your day has come, just as JESUS DID in humanity. 

I pray for you in the fullness and revelation of Ephesians 1:15-23, for the BEST of God today, as you maximise your day through KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING of His WILL in you to be ABOVE ONLY — Deuteronomy 28:13.

OCCUPY TILL I COME – IN LOVE: LOVE ENHANCES EARTHLY USEFULNESS AND HEAVENLY MINDEDNESS!  

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because THE LOVE of God is SHED (LAVISHED) abroad in our HEARTS (SPIRIT-BEING) by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us . . . 8 But God commendeth His LOVE toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:5, 8. 

Talking about LOVE! 
Here is a didactic measure, so that we don’t just say we “have love”, but that we go onward to LIVE IN LOVE and WALK IN LOVE. 

We must know that LOVE IS OF GOD. Love is the lubricant for our New Creation life in Christ Jesus, and for all human relationships. Upon this knowledge, we can OCCUPY IN CHRIST UNTIL HE COMES by BEING EARTHLY USEFUL AND HEAVENLY MINDED. 

Love is an ATTITUDE. 
It is a deliberate and intentional choice, an exercise of the will, a choice of life. It is not just a feeling. It is an expression of the nature of God. It is spiritual, divinely inspired and embedded in the very hearts of all God’s human creation, and more importantly in the very nature of the redeemed child of God. Hence it is not a doctrine, creed or dogma. It has outlived generations because it is timeless and of God. For GOD IS LOVE. 

“Beloved, let us LOVE one another: for LOVE is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; FOR GOD IS LOVE. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins… 16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. GOD IS LOVE; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: BECAUSE AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:7–10, 16-18 

Love is a FRUIT and not a GIFT. 
FRUITS are GROWN while GIFTS are IMPARTED. Genuine Bible love — AGAPE — is born and is a product of the Holy Spirit who indwells us — Romans 5:5, 8; Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 5:9.

DEFINING THE THREE KINDS OF LOVE: 

  1. PHILEO: Grk — of the soul 
    Family love — between parent and child. Also love toward friends and colleagues. 
    It means to be fond of. It is based on FEELINGS and not on PRINCIPLE. It is never used of man’s love to or for God. This is human or natural love. Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Genesis 18:19; Ephesians 6:4; Colossians 3:21. It is however essential and crucial for family bonding and wellbeing.
  2. EROS: Grk — of the physical body 
    Sexual love, purely reserved for marriage — within the bond of marriage. 
    It is based on PHYSICAL ATTRACTION. It is neither fornication nor adultery. Lust and immoral desires have perverted it, hence we see great PERVERSION in our societies today — and we are paying heavily for the consequences. Hebrews 13:4; 1 Corinthians 7:1-9; 1 Corinthians 6:15-20
  3. AGAPE: Grk — of the spirit 
    God’s kind of love — unconditional, limitless, divine, spiritual. 
    It transcends race, gender, generation, culture, family and self. 1 Corinthians 13. It is built on PRINCIPLE. Agape love strengthens and maintains both Phileo and Eros in all life endeavours. Notably, Phileo and Eros must be governed by Agape, or they will hinder our fellowship with God and lead to SIN. Example: EROS — 1 Corinthians 13:5, PHILEO — 1 Samuel 2:22-36 

Let us not just say we have love. LET US LIVE AND WALK IN LOVE, for love is of the Spirit —Romans 5:5. IT IS TIME TO LIVE AND WALK IN LOVE. LET US MAKE IT HAPPEN. 
For the charge — OCCUPY TILL I COME — in LOVE enhances EARTHLY USEFULNESS and HEAVENLY MINDEDNESS.

“If we LIVE in the Spirit, let us also WALK in the Spirit” Galatians 5:25. 

“Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 and WALK IN LOVE, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour” Ephesians 5:1-2. 

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being ROOTED and GROUNDED IN LOVE, 18 may be able to COMPREHEND with all saints what is the BREADTH, and LENGTH, and DEPTH, and HEIGHT; 19 and to KNOW THE LOVE OF christ, which PASSETH (TRANSCENDS, SURPASSED) KNOWLEDGE (SENSE), that ye might be FILLED with all the FULNESS of God” Ephesians 3:17-19. 

“But the FRUIT of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law” Galatians 5:22-23/NKJV

The message is a didactic charge to LIVE IN LOVE and WALK IN LOVE as the defining mark of the New Creation, because love is of God and it is what makes us EARTHLY USEFUL and HEAVENLY MINDED until Christ comes.

    PHILEO — of the soul: Family and friendship love. Based on FEELINGS. Essential for bonding — Deut 6:4-9; Eph 6:4 
    EROS — of the physical body: Marital, sexual love. Based on PHYSICAL ATTRACTION. Reserved for marriage — Heb 13:4; 1 Cor 7:1-9 
    AGAPE — of the spirit: God’s unconditional, divine love. Built on PRINCIPLE. It transcends all and governs the other two. Without Agape, Phileo and Eros will lead to sin — 1 Cor 13; 1 Sam 2:22-36
  5. The Effect of Walking in Love 
    Earthly Usefulness: Love makes us responsible, sacrificial and beneficial to mankind. 
    Heavenly Mindedness: Love roots and grounds us in Christ so we comprehend the breadth, length, depth and height of His love — Eph 3:17-19 
    Boldness: “AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD” — 1 John 4:17. Perfect love casts out fear — 1 John 4:18 
  6. The Occupation Mandate 
    OCCUPY TILL I COME — IN LOVE — Luke 19:13 
    Our assignment on earth is carried out through love. This is how we remain useful here and minded toward heaven.  

CALL TO ACTION 

  1. CHOOSE LOVE DAILY. 
    Make love an intentional ATTITUDE and exercise of the will. Don’t just profess it — LIVE IT and WALK IT — Romans 5:5. 
  2. GROW THE FRUIT. 
    Yield to the Holy Spirit. Water Agape love so it matures. Remember: fruit is grown, not just received. 
  3. GOVERN PHILEO AND EROS WITH AGAPE. 
    Let God’s principle-based love regulate your family affections and marital relationships so they do not become sin — 1 Corinthians 13. 
  4. BE ROOTED AND GROUNDED IN LOVE. 
    Study and meditate on Ephesians 3:17-19, 1 John 4, 1 Corinthians 13, Galatians 5:22-23 until you know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge. 
  5. OCCUPY IN LOVE. 
    Be EARTHLY USEFUL through acts of love to people, and HEAVENLY MINDED by reflecting God’s nature. Love is how we fulfil “Occupy till I come.”

LET IN GOD’S LIGHT INTO YOU

LET IN GOD’S LIGHT INTO YOU: HIS LIGHT WILL BRIGHTEN AND ILLUMINATE THE MIDDAY DARKNESS ABOUT YOU! 

“At MIDDAY, O king, I saw in the way a LIGHT from heaven, ABOVE the BRIGHTNESS of the SUN, SHINING round about me and them which journeyed with me” Acts 26:13. 

“For God, who commanded the LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS, hath SHINED in our hearts, to GIVE the LIGHT of the KNOWLEDGE of the GLORY of God in the FACE of Jesus Christ” 2 Corinthians 4:6. 

When Apostle Paul made the emboldened statement to King Agrippa in Acts 26:13, in respect of his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, he knew that it was the illumination and enlightenment — a light that was beyond the huge midday light — that established his conviction in the faith. 

And of course, the brighter MIDDAY light that he received was not just the sunlight at midday, but it was of the Son of God, the Sun of Righteousness, which speaks of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, as written in Malachi 4:2, bringing healing in His wings. And Jesus Christ, as the fountain of life, is our light. In Him we are illuminated and enlightened. 

“But unto you that FEAR (REVERENCE) my name shall the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS arise with HEALING in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and GROW UP as calves of the stall. 3 And ye shall TREAD DOWN the wicked; for they shall be ASHES under the SOLES of your FEET in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts” Malachi 4:2 Emphasis Mine. 

“They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. 9 For with thee is the FOUNTAIN of life: IN THY LIGHT SHALL WE SEE LIGHT” Proverbs 36:8-9. 

There is the need to know that when we let God’s light into us, His light will brighten and illuminate the midday darkness by commanding light out of darkness. This thus indicates that you cannot see, walk, visualise, achieve, and be fulfilled purposefully and meaningfully with God BEYOND the illumination, enlightenment and comprehension you have of Him in His WORD for you in Christ Jesus’ stead. And Jesus is the LIGHT of the world in us — and it is in His light that we are brightened and enlightened in grace to illuminate our world from darkness, as His ambassadors on the hilltop, to give His light to the world about us. 

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD: he that followeth me shall not WALK IN DARKNESS, but shall have THE LIGHT OF LIFE” John 8:12 

“You are the LIGHT of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. [15] Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. [16] Let your LIGHT so shine before men, that they may see your good works and GLORIFY your Father in heaven” Matthew 5:14-16/NKJV. 

It is imperative to know that it is the illumination and enlightenment you have of God in Christ Jesus’ stead that gives any believing one access to enjoy the FULNESS of God’s BLESSEDNESS in the grace. This is not what SOMEONE ELSE does for you. It is what you have to DO FOR YOURSELF, in order to obtain divine favour. For your recovery in the grace is your discovery that the illumination and enlightenment you receive from God gives access — and this access is by the WORD. The Word gives life and the light that illuminates and enlightens us.

The path of the justified — made righteous in Christ Jesus — is by default to shine brighter and brighter on each dawn day, as the scripture of Proverbs 4:18 declares. And to ensure your path, O just and righteous one, SHINES brighter and continues to illuminate, it is by inclining to the sayings, the Word of God. This is important, in order to enable anyone to comprehend earnestly and to fulfil purpose in the grace. And like the BEREAN believing believers, there is the need to search, and to keep being Spirit-led in searching SCRIPTURALLY, to earn self-honour in fulfilling purpose. 

“But the PATH OF THE JUST [RIGHTEOUS] is as the SHINING LIGHT, that SHINETH more and more unto the PERFECT [DAWN] Day . . . “ Proverbs 4:18-23. 

“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. [11] These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY, whether those things were so. [12] Therefore many of them believed; also of HONOURABLE women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few” Act 17:10-13. 

Therefore, if you have HEALTH issues, for example, you need to take time exclusively and intentionally to find out what the WORD says about HEALTH and HEALTHY LIVING for you in the New Creation rights and privileges in REDEMPTION. In the same scenario, if your case is MARITAL, FINANCE, RELATIONSHIP, CAREER, GOSPEL MINISTRY, FEAR, DISAPPOINTMENT, BEREAVEMENT AND SUCH LIKE, find your illumination and enlightenment in the WORD for you, in order to be triumphant, more than a conqueror, an overcomer and victorious by God in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

You are either triumphing by God through His WORD in Christ Jesus’ stead, or by yourself and man-made religious schemes that are in the world outside divinity. Know for sure and full well that ignorance of the WORD to your circumstances and situations will keep you in a series of bondages and expose you to fallacy of all sorts and such like. The choice to win with God is always with you. YOU ARE THE CUSTODIAN OF YOUR HAPPINESS AND PEACE. 

Know for sure that your self-discovery by the WORD will give you such unforgettable recovery; and the knowing and understanding of the process to get and achieve such illumination and enlightenment can help you in getting an answer to many, many more matters of life and godly living without any middle-man interference. I love such attitude, willingness and experiences. It makes me sleep soundly and gives me the synergy to walk with my head up, shoulders high and in high heels of faith in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

Give it a go today. I pray that you find the needed light and illumination to every quest in your life, in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

  1. God’s Midday Light Is Greater Than Natural Light 
    Just as Paul encountered a light “ABOVE the BRIGHTNESS of the SUN” at midday on the road to Damascus [Acts 26:13], God’s light in Christ is the Sun of Righteousness [Malachi 4:2] that brings healing, illumination and conviction beyond natural understanding.
  2. Jesus Is the Fountain and Light of Life 
    God commanded light out of darkness and has shined in our hearts the light of the knowledge of His glory in Christ [2 Corinthians 4:6]. Jesus is the Light of the world [John 8:12] and the Fountain of life [Proverbs 36:8-9]. In His light we see light.
  3. Illumination Comes Through the Word 
    Your access to God’s blessedness, favour and victory is not by another person, but by your personal engagement with the Word.

    As believers, “You are the LIGHT of the world” [Matthew 5:14-16]. We are not to hide it but let it shine so men see our good works and glorify the Father. We are ambassadors on the hilltop to bring God’s light to a dark world.
  5. The Path of the Righteous Keeps Getting Brighter 
    “The PATH OF THE JUST is as the SHINING LIGHT, that SHINETH more and more unto the PERFECT DAY” [Proverbs 4:18]. This growth happens by inclining to the Word daily, like the Bereans who searched the Scriptures daily [Acts 17:11].
  6. Ignorance Keeps You in Bondage 
    Whatever your challenge — health, marriage, finance, career, fear, bereavement — find what the Word says about it for you in Christ. Ignorance of the Word exposes you to religious schemes and keeps you bound. Your recovery is tied to your discovery in the Word.
  7. You Are the Custodian of Your Peace and Victory 
    God’s light doesn’t force itself. You must choose to search, receive and walk in it. Self-discovery through the Word brings lasting recovery and answers without middle-man interference.

CALL TO ACTION 

  1. Let in God’s light intentionally today. Open your heart to the illumination of the Word in Christ Jesus. 
  2. Search the Scriptures daily for your situation. Whatever you are facing, find God’s specific Word, rights and privileges for you in redemption. 
  3. Walk as light. Don’t just receive light — become a beam. Let your life shine so others see Christ in you. 
  4. Reject darkness and religious schemes. Choose God’s Word over man-made solutions. 
    Declare: “In Thy light shall I see light.”

BEAUTIFY AND COLOUR YOUR WORLDS IN FAITH IN CHRIST: DO YOUR LIFE A FAVOUR BY BEAUTIFYING AND COLOURING YOUR ‘WORLDS’ THROUGH ACKNOWLEDGED FAITH! 

“He has made everything BEAUTIFUL [COLOURFUL] and APPROPRIATE in its time. He has also planted ETERNITY [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out [comprehend, grasp] what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end” Ecclesiastes 3:11/Amplified. 

You are the custodian of your happiness, joy, peace, dignity, honour and more. 

Stop looking for or pursuing your destiny as you may have been told. Your destiny is imbedded in you in Christ. You don’t have to run to get it or pursue after it. You ARE your destiny. 

The scriptures declare you’ve been predestined of God in Christ to succeed, thrive and be happy — Ephesians 1:3-11.  Meaning you’ve been predestined to succeed and achieve that excellence, success and goodness you have so madly and crazily desired to be. 

Your destiny is the you in you in Christ. Beautify and Colour it in Christ. 

I don’t know what your ‘worlds’ seem to be at this very moment. 
But one thing I do know is that you can create the atmosphere of the gracious ‘worlds’ you will love to live in daily. Your faith in God through His WORD and by the working power of the blessed Holy Spirit can make all the difference. 

Your intended worlds of excitement and rejuvenation — in respect to joy, peace, love, relationship, marriage, family, finance, career, ministry and more — are embedded in your FAITH in Christ. For God makes all things beautiful in His time. Ecclesiastes 3:11. You are a part of that beauty. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image and likeness as the scriptures do record about you and all. Psalms 139:14 

You can frame, colour your worlds today with the atmosphere you will really love to do life in. 

I pray God’s grace and blessings upon you as you remain steadfast in Faith to colour your worlds in Christ. For it’s your time to manifest the fragrance and aroma of grace through the acknowledging of every good thing DONE in you, DONE FOR you and being DONE THROUGH you in Christ. Philemon 1:6 

You are the reason why the earth was made and created — Live strong and live rejuvenated. 

God SHINES throw His Church – The PERFECTION of His Beauty. You are God’s Church – that He’s building.
