THE MANDATE TO – OCCUPY TILL I COME: INVOLVES FOLLOWING GOD’S PLAN, PURPOSE AND PURSUIT IN YOUR LIFE! 

“And he CALLED his ten servants, and DELIVERED them ten pounds, and SAID unto them, OCCUPY TILL I COME” Luke 19:13. 

“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not DISOBEDIENT unto the HEAVENLY VISION” Acts 26:19. 

There’s the CHOICE to make in life in terms of either being – FULFILLED in life and godliness (godly living) – or to make the CHOICE of being – MERELY SUCCESSFUL in life as many have found themselves. And it’s only by following God’s PLAN, PURPOSE AND PURSUIT in your life that FULFILMENT in Christ Jesus stead comes to reality. That’s what it means for one to earnestly enact the charged, assigned and commissioned mandate to “OCCUPY TILL I COME”, so that you don’t just attain success but the fulfilment therein. 

“And say to Archippus, TAKE HEED to the MINISTRY which thou hast RECEIVED in the Lord, that thou FULFIL it” Colossians 4:17. 

The quest there in the concept to – OCCUPY TILL I COME – is you are prepared to let God be the lead in the concept, especially when you are subjected to circumstances that’s different from your expectations as Philip the evangelist experienced by following God’s plan, purpose and pursuit for his life – Act 8:1-40; Acts 21:7-9. As Philip the evangelist in obedience – can you afford to move from a place of GLAMOUR SUCCESS to a DESERT PLACE in life when it’s God’s plan, purpose and pursuit for you? And especially when you know that in God’s plan, purpose and pursuit, the ride and drive may not always be pleasing but you can deduce it’s your place of FULFILLMENT in Him. I want you to know for sure that doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus, is all about following God’s PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT for your life and possible ministry rather than just having a mere glamour SUCCESS for men applaud and hype. Following God’s plan, purpose and pursuit for your life is the only guarantee for God’s APPROVAL and your fulfilment in Him.

“Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man APPROVED (ACCREDITED, ATTESTED) of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know” Acts 2:22/Emphasis Mine. 

“And we know [with great CONFIDENCE] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] CAUSES all things to work together [as a PLAN] for good for those who love God, to those who are CALLED according to His PLAN and PURPOSE” Romans 8:28/Amplified (Ephesians 1:11). 

“Study and do your best to present yourself to God APPROVED, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15/Amplified. 

A person who is keen only for a MERE glamour SUCCESS inclination and attachment, will not see the need to leave such GLAMOUR place (position) to attend to a single person business outfit’s or Gospel Ministry as Philip the evangelist did in obedience – especially as to go to such a place in the DESERT (remote) which was accomplished by Philip the Evangelist – who sees obedience to God’s instructions far higher, richer and fulfilling as written in Acts 8:8, 26-29. 

“. . . 8 And there was GREAT REJOICING in that CITY . . . 26 But an angel of the Lord SAID to Philip, RISE and PROCEED southward or at midday on the road that runs from Jerusalem down to GAZA. This is the DESERT [route]. 27 So he GOT UP and WENT. And behold, an Ethiopian, a eunuch of GREAT AUTHORITY under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure, had come to Jerusalem to WORSHIP. 28 And he was [now] returning and sitting in his chariot he was reading the book of the prophet Isaiah. 29 Then the [Holy] Spirit SAID to Philip, GO FORWARD and join yourself to this chariot . . .” Acts 8:1-8, 26-40. 

“And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day. 8 And the next day we that were of Paul’s company departed and came unto Cæsarea: and we entered into the house of PHILIP THE EVANGELIST, which was one of the seven; and abode with him. 9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy” Acts 8:7-9. 

And such obedience of Evangelist Philip to DIVINE order and command, is only possible of a person whose objective is not about being successful or to have a global or the glamour success but of being in obedience and FULFILMENT in Christ Jesus stead in God; Evangelist Philip was someone whose goal is to be a disciple and follower of God’s plan, purpose and pursuit; and one who truly believes in WHOLENESS of God’s lead and will go WHEREVER the Lord LEADS as Philip the evangelist did in Acts 8. Such attitude toward God’s intent, is what I called and considered as one who is – OCCUPYING TILL HE COMES and OBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE or ASSIGNMENT irrespective of the norm and prejudice that’s about the person. 

Hence, I am asking you today – WHAT IS YOUR WORTH IN GOD’S BLESSEDNESS IN CHRIST JESUS? or how do you WORTH yourself in life and godly living in Christ Jesus? Is it by material achievement called SUCCESS or by being ACCOMPLISHED in God’s given vision and mission called FULFILMENT in His assignment irrespective of the norm about you? 

Are you just a mere glamour SUCCESS driven inclination person or a person of FULFILMENT in the heavenly assignment. It must be noted for sure that SUCCESS is good but it’s relative in life to all and it’s of God however; but God’s earnest desire is for us in Christ Jesus stead to have and achieve FULFILMENT which is far beyond just being SUCCESSFUL. For we are blessed of God and He wants the best for us and to have us to be successful in our life’s endeavours but not at the EXPENSE of His eternal plan, purpose and pursuit for our well-being in Him. Amen. So, there’s the need to balance the pursuit for success and to being fulfilled in God by following His plan, purpose and pursuit for us respectively as charged to – OCCUPY TILL I COME. 

“Beloved, I pray that in every way you may SUCCEED and PROSPER and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually]” 3 John 2/Amplified. 

“BLESSED be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath BLESSED us with all SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS in HEAVENLY PLACES in Christ: . . . 5 having PREDESTINATED us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, . . . 11 in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being PREDESTINATED according to the PURPOSE of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will” Ephesians 1:3, 5, 11. 

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way PROSPEROUS, and then thou shalt have GOOD SUCCESS” Joshua 1:8. 

Unlike SUCCESS which is relative to all, FULFILMENT is not just only of God, but it’s a place of being readily, willingly and obediently set to accomplish in the wholeness, completeness and fulfilling of the Lord’s given and driven – PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT – in LIFE and GODLY living. And it’s in doing this God’s given and driven charge in an unhindered and uncompromising way; and with anything of sorts outside God’s intent, just as our Lord Christ Jesus did in 1 John 3:8; John 18:37 and Apostle Paul did in obedience as in Philippians 3:1-16, and upon which others like Archippus was exhorted, admonished and charged to do likewise also as written: 

“And say to Archippus, TAKE HEED to the MINISTRY which thou hast RECEIVED in the Lord, that thou FULFIL it” Colossians 4:17. 

“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not DISOBEDIENT unto the HEAVENLY VISION” Acts 26:19. 

BEING FULFILLED in life and godliness (godly living) is about living a God GIVEN and DRIVEN PURPOSE LIFE; that’s what brings about MEANINGFUL FULFILLMENT in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead; which is far beyond – from just being a merely SUCCESSFUL person by material accumulation that’s of no heavenly implications under God’s assigned plan, purpose and pursuit. 

Therefore, I urge you today to follow God’s PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT for your fulfilment in Him, in Christ Jesus stead, because success is RELATIVE in matters of doing life and living godly.

THE ASSURED WORD OF PROPHECY: WILL GIVE LIGHT INTO YOUR DARK PLACE! 

The assured WORD of prophecy that’s being prophesied over you, is genuine indeed, and it’s the one that shines light into your dark place. Anything else is falsehood, lies, craft, gains and deception. Otherwise, I fear for you, if you fall for the alternative to God’s WORD, I don’t know what might become of you at the end of the dawn day. 

The ASSURED WORD OF PROPHECY is God’s WORD. And the God’s ASSURED WORD of PROPHECY, will point you to Christ Jesus stead and nothing else of any sorts. It gives KNOWLEDGE and TESTIFY of Jesus Christ to you. Meaning, it leads you comprehensively to WHAT JESUS IS TO YOU, DONE IN YOU, DONE FOR YOU, IS DOING THROUGH YOU AND WILL DO THROUGH YOU by the Holy Spirit of TRUTH in His Love. You don’t have to FAKE IT in other to MAKE IT. It does not lead or and creates another BONDAGE or DEMANDS from you additional or further sacrifices. Because God’s WORD operates through His LOVE, and God’s LOVE does not DEMAND instead it GIVES. Simply for Christ is the end of all sacrifices. Romans 10:4. 

“For Christ is the END of the LAW for RIGHTEOUSNESS to everyone that BELIEVETH” Romans 10:4 

An ASSURED PROPHECY DON’T POINT TO SELF OR THE VESSEL IN USE. So let no man DECEIVE you by their Prophecy or prophesying for self-glory or gratification, sentiments and appeals to have control over you toward your vulnerability. BE WISE. DON’T BE FOOL. There are FALSE Prophets out there and around you or nearby to you. It’s the last days. IT’S NOT BY CLOAK APPAREL OR TITLE. That’s why you are responsible to do your own – WATCH OUT and EXAMINE any – (Acts 17:10-12; 1 Corinthians 14:29-33; Philippians 1:15-18).  

Just know full well that you are the CUSTODIAN of your life – so keep away from falsehoods before you start blaming any. RUN. I mean RUN very fast and away from that falsehood and stay safe in grace and life. Jude 1:3-4. 

“Beloved, when I gave all DILIGENCE to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you and exhort you that ye should EARNESTLY CONTEND for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are CERTAIN MEN CREPT IN UNAWARES, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, UNGODLY men, turning the grace of our God into LASCIVIOUSNESS, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ” Jude 1:3-4. 

An ASSURED PROPHECY does not create FEAR or LEADS to FEAR or generate anything that robs you of the DONE DID DEED in our blessed redemption in Christ Jesus. For FEAR LEADS to torments, insecurity and control, monitoring, overpowering and such like. That’s not God’s given ASSURED PROPHECY. That’s man VERDICT and CRAFT to subject, lure, gain, seduce and extract God’s good and goodness from you. 2 Timothy 1:7; Hebrews 2:14-15; Luke 2:68-75; 1 John 4:17-18. 

God’s ASSURED PROPHETIC WORD is not – GRIEVIOUS, BURDENSOME, TROUBLESOME, TASKMASTER and TERRIFYING. God’s ASSURED PROPHECY liberates, delivers, assures, insures and ensures to COMFORT, EXHORT AND EDIFY (BUILD UP) an individual person or people, of God, in Christ Jesus stead – 1 John 5:3; 1 Corinthians 14:3; Colossians 1:13-14; Ephesians 1:7-8. 

Prophesies and Prophesying that LEADS you NOT to Jesus in terms of what He is to you, He has done in you, He is doing in you and He will do through you is not genuine; but selfish, gains and self-centred and a mockery of the true Gospel for the New Creation – 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. And I repeat as earlier said “You are the custodian of your life – so keep away from falsehoods before you start blaming any” 

JESUS IS THE END OF ALL SACRIFICES AND PROPHECIES. LET NONE MAKE GAIN OF YOUR FREEDOM, LIBERATION AND REDEMPTION IN CHRIST JESUS.

“We have also a more SURE WORD of PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a LIGHT that SHINETH in a DARK PLACE, until the DAY DAWN, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 knowing this first, that no PROPHECY of the scripture is of any PRIVATE INTERPRETATION. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:19-21).

“For God did not give us a spirit of TIMIDITY or COWARDICE or FEAR, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]” 2 Timothy 1:7 (Amplified)

DO YOUR LIFE A FAVOUR: “BEAUTIFY AND COLOUR YOUR WORLDS IN FAITH” IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD! 

It’s a high-priced time to decorate, colour and beautify your worlds (family, career/skills, relationship to God/mankind, leadership, finance, ministry and such like) in the FAITH you STAND in GRACE in Christ Jesus stead. Romans 5:1-2; Titus 3:7. 

You are the custodian of your happiness, joy, peace, dignity, honour and more. Stop looking for or pursuing your destiny as you may have been told. Your destiny is embedded and endowed in you in Christ as a default when you were saved, called, justified and glorified in fellowship in God in Christ Jesus – (1 Corinthians 1:9; Romans 8:28-30). You don’t have to run after anybody to get it or pursue after it as in the Old Testament reliance on others to reach out to God for your enabling. YOU ARE YOUR DESTINY – it’s a default in you in Christ Jesus stead if you are born of God (John 3:3, 5, 16; 1 Peter 1:22-24). The scripture declares that you’ve been predestined of God in Christ to succeed, thrive and be happy – (Ephesians 1:3-11; Romans 8:28-30). Meaning you’ve been PREDESTINED to succeed and achieve that excellence, success and goodness that you so madly and crazily desired to have and become in Christ Jesus (John 1:12). Your destiny is YOU in Christ. Beautify and colour it in Christ in FAITH. 

I don’t know what your ‘worlds’ seems to be at this very moment. But one thing I do know is that you can create the atmosphere of the gracious ‘worlds’ you will love to live on daily. Your FAITH in God through His WORD and by the working power of the blessed Holy Spirit can make all the difference (Hebrews 11:1-3). 

Your intended worlds of excitement and rejuvenation, in respect to joy, peace, love, relationship, marriage, family, finance, career, ministry and more, are embedded and imbedded on and in your FAITH in Christ (Romans 1:16-17; Habakkuk 2:4; Hebrews 10:38; Galatians 3:11). 

For God makes all things beautiful in His time. You are a part of that beauty. You are fearfully (reverentially) and wonderfully made in God’s image and likeness as the scripture do record about you and all. 

You can DECORATE, FRAME, COLOUR and BEAUTIFY your worlds today with the atmosphere you will really love to do life with. I pray for God’s grace and blessings as you remain steadfast in Faith to colour your worlds in Christ. For it’s your time to manifest the fragrance and aroma of grace through the ACKNOWLEDGING of every good thing DONE in you, DONE FOR you and being DONE THROUGH you in Christ – Philemon 1:6; 2 Corinthians 2:14). You are the reason why the earth was made and created – it’s now time for you to LIVE STRONG and LIVE REJUVENATING. Do your life a favour by beautifying and colouring your ‘WORLDS’ through ACKNOWLEDGED FAITH in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. 

God SHINES throw His Church – The PERFECTION of His Beauty. You are God’s Church – that He’s building. Therefore, BEAUTIFY AND COLOUR YOUR WORLDS IN FAITH” In Christ Jesus Stead. Amen.

“The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. 2 Out of ZION, the PERFECTION of BEAUTY, God hath SHINED” Psalms 50:1-2 (Hebrews 12:22-24). 

“He has made everything BEAUTIFUL (Colourful) and APPROPRIATE in its time. He has also planted ETERNITY [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end” Ecclesiastes 3:11 (Amplified). 

“And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How BEAUTIFUL (Colourful) are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:15. 

“That the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become effectual by the ACKNOWLEDGING of every good thing which is in you IN CHRIST JESUS” Philemon 6. 

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the VICTORY that overcometh the world, even our FAITH. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God” 1 John 5:4-5. 

“Through FAITH we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” Hebrews 11:3.

BUILDING UP YOUR PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY FAITH: THE NEED TO TREASURE IT! 

“Lay not up for yourselves TREASURES upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 but lay up for yourselves TREASURES in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 FOR WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS, THERE WILL YOUR HEART BE ALSO” Matthew 6:19-21 (Luke 12:32-34). 

I grew up knowing that one will always dignify, preserve, defend and protect what one truly and earnestly treasures in life and grace. And in same essence I can say that: 

THERES THE NEED TO TREASURE YOUR PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY FAITH. AND THE ESSENCE OF BUILDING IT UP IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD IS GRACIOUSNESSS, GRACEFULNESS AND BLESSEDNESS. 

And if I may ask of you today – How PRECIOUS is your FAITH in Christ Jesus to you? For I do know that people will love to PRESERVE and TREASURE that which is PRECIOUS to them no matter what, especially in life matters as to – friendship, marriage, family, career, precious stones of silver, gold, diamond and such like. And they will actually contend earnestly to ensure that which they TREASURED is respected, preserved and kept away from rots and corruption; and they will ensure that enemies are kept at bay, far away from their TREASURED possessions and acquisitions.   

However, we live in the times when scandals loom everywhere, and unfortunately, in the Christian FAITH, some are like ESAU of the Old Testament, who have already SOLD their FAITH for a bowl of PORRIDGE, thereby losing  their BIRTHRIGHT and the DEFAULT BLESSING accompanying it accordingly – Hebrews 12:15-17/Genesis 25; Genesis 27:35-37. And in some cases, the defraud to their PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY FAITH is enormous indeed. some have been betrayed, blackmailed and Some have killed through greed, covetousness and wickedness to get to the acquisition they want in the high places of doing life and living godly. And all these and more done to acclaim or achieve statuesque and statesmanship without considering the effect to their one’s cherished PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY FAITH. 

It’s very sad today, some will want to mortgage their PRECIOUS FAITH in Christ Jesus, in their desperation for anything to keep to statuesque. Others will want to acquire things which their PRECIOUS FAITH in Christ Jesus have not been built up to handle, just to show off, keep to pace and or their bank balance and afterwards – REGRETS privately and or secretly. 

Let us not Forget that the JUSTIFIED in Christ Jesus, shall live by HIS OWN FAITH in the FAITH of Christ Jesus. And that the life in Christ Jesus is live by the FAITH which is of the Holy Spirit in God’s WORD and not by the SENSES (hear, see, smell, taste, feel) of the human fleshy desires and instincts – Habakkuk 2:4; 2 Corinthians 5:7. 

And if I may ask again – How VALUABLE and WORTH is your PRECIOUS and MOST HOLY FAITH in Christ Jesus to you today? How much PRICE and PRIZE have you tagged on your FAITH? Is your FAITH actually PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY to you? Considering your desperation to BECOME and to POSSESS what you think you should have; and knowing full well the PATH to have it, is not of God; and it contravenes everything about your PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY FAITH in God in Christ Jesus stead. Psalms 16:11; Proverbs 4:18. 

Beloved, your FAITH in Christ Jesus is such a PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY WORTH in LIFE and GODLY LIVING; and to ensure your PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY FAITH is preserved and protected, you MUST not go to any length for whatsoever reason, to make it of NO EFFECT in the name of ANYTHING that’s living or non-living. 

I pray that you keep your PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY FAITH alive – ablaze and aflame – through and through, in DOING LIFE and GODLY LIVING, no matter what come your way in this life journey. The knowing and understanding that God loves you in Christ Jesus should emboldened you, in all the way to keep on keeping on, to PRESERVE and TREASURE your PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY FAITH in Christ Jesus from any stain and desires in the world – 1 John 5:3-5; 1 John 2:15-17. 

It’s time to take away the VILE from your PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY FAITH if you must be God’s VESSEL and MOUTH to be used to advance His kingdom cause and to keep the ENEMY and COHORTS at bay – (Jeremiah 25:9; 1 Timothy 2:19-21). 

If you are struggling to PRESERVE and BUILD your PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY FAITH, then uphold your FAITH by PRAYING in the Spirit – THE HOLY GHOST – through THE WORD of God. Seek necessary counsel for help wherein you need to and save your day, all the way from rot and thieves that are parading in hearts and thoughts and in life. 

May you be BLESSED in Life and Godly Living, in your PRECIOUS AND MOST HOLY FAITH in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

BEAUTIFY AND COLOUR YOUR WORLDS IN FAITH IN CHRIST: DO YOUR LIFE A FAVOUR BY BEAUTIFYING AND COLOURING YOUR ‘WORLDS’ THROUGH ACKNOWLEDGED FAITH! 

“He has made everything BEAUTIFUL [COLOURFUL] and APPROPRIATE in its time. He has also planted ETERNITY [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out [comprehend, grasp] what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end” Ecclesiastes 3:11/Amplified. 

You are the custodian of your happiness, joy, peace, dignity, honour and more. Stop looking for or pursuing your destiny as you may have been told. Your destiny is imbedded in you in Christ. You don’t have to run to get it or pursue after it. You are your destiny. The scripture declares that you’ve been predestined by God in Christ to succeed, thrive and be happy – [Ephesians 1:3-11]. Meaning you’ve been predestined to succeed and achieve that excellence, success and goodness so madly and crazily desired to be. Your destiny is you in Christ. Beautify and Colour it in Christ. 

I don’t know what your ‘worlds’ seems to be at this very moment. But one thing I do know is that you can create the atmosphere of the gracious ‘worlds’ you will love to live on daily. Your faith in God through His WORD and by the working power of the blessed Holy Spirit can make all the difference. 

Your intended worlds of excitement and rejuvenation, in respect to joy, peace, love, relationship, marriage, family, finance, career, ministry and more, are embedded and imbedded on and in your FAITH in Christ. 

For God makes all things beautiful in His time. You are a part of that beauty. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image and likeness as the scriptures do record about you and all. 

You can frame, colour your worlds today with the atmosphere you will really love to do life with. I pray for God’s grace and blessings as you remain steadfast in Faith to colour your worlds in Christ. For it’s your time to manifest the fragrance and aroma of grace through the acknowledging of every good thing DONE in you, DONE FOR you and being DONE THROUGH you in Christ. You are the reason why the earth was made and created – Live strong and live rejuvenating. 

God SHINES throw His Church – The PERFECTION of His Beauty. You are God’s Church – that He’s building.

OCCUPY TILL I COME: THE MASTER CHARGE UNTIL HE RETURNS! 

“And he CALLED his ten servants, and DELIVERED them ten pounds, and SAID unto them, OCCUPY TILL I COME” Luke 19:13. 

“So He CALLED ten of his servants, and GAVE them ten minas [one apiece, each equal to about a hundred days’ wages] and SAID to them, ‘DO BUSINESS [WITH THIS] UNTIL I RETURN” Luke 19:13/Amplified. 

“So He CALLED ten of His servants, DELIVERED to them ten minas, and SAID to them, ‘DO BUSINESS TILL I COME” Luke 19:13/NKJV. 

To OCCUPY TILL I COME indicates a command, charged, mandate, assignment and commission to be carried out. And it must be noted that the command, charge, assignment and commission of God in Christ Jesus to every Believer is not an advice at all. For God will only COMMEND what He COMMANDS. And His command is according to the BESTOWMENT of grace that He has given, poured, showed and lavished upon a person or group of people respectively. 

For where there’s God’s enabling POWER and such endowments of grace, therein is the PURPOSE for it. God doesn’t give PURPOSE without enabling POWER, neither does He give enabling POWER without the PURPOSE for it to accomplish meaningfully and graciously. 

“And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all FILLED with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke THE WORD of God with BOLDNESS . . . 33 And with GREAT POWER the apostles GAVE WITNESS to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And GREAT GRACE was upon them all” Acts 4:31, 33. 

“And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to those who LOVE God, to those who are the CALLED according to His PURPOSE” Romans 8:28/NKJV. 

“In Him also we have OBTAINED an inheritance, being PREDESTINED according to the PURPOSE of Him who works all things according to the COUNSEL of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory” Ephesians 1:11-12. 

And God, in placing an order and demanding any concept of a thing to be done means there is already a sufficient and sufficiency of the supply of the enabling grace to do what it will take to make the demands to be fulfilled accordingly. God driven purpose to make us fulfill meaningfully by the charge placed on us – “OCCUPY TILL I COME” – is that we might be able to enact who we ARE in Him. And that is: 

• To be Earthly Useful and Heavenly Minded. 

•  To be a More Than Conquerors. 

•  To Succeed, Triumph, be Victorious and have Dominion. 

•  To Thrive and be Colourful and not a Survival. 

•  And become COMPLETE and more, as in our REDEMPTION rights and privileges in Christ Jesus. 

The wisdom for today for the essence above thus indicated – that living a colourful and thriving life is gracious, graceful and lovely, but it’s not a giveaway, hence it’s not cheap and not for the lazy, sluggard and idlers; and there’s the need to “OCCUPY TILL I COME” as mandated, charged, commissioned and commanded by our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus, with the God’s given basic RESOURCES of doing life, which are these: 

•  Time 

•  Effort 

•  Finance 

•  Material 

•  People 

And ensuring that these named resources above are being fully and meaningfully utilised is important, and that means one needs to follow appropriately and uprightly the utilisation of them, for the reality and tangibility of the PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT of the charged mandate – “OCCUPY TILL I COME”. 

And the knowing that ‘You ARE of God’, “You ARE BELOVED of God” should make you steadily and readily able to succeed, triumph, win and overcome and be a victor in life and godliness while you – OCCUPY TILL HE COMES. And knowing that what makes a colourful and thriving life accessible, liveable, loveable, reachable and applicable is because the greater one lives in you also. 

“You ARE of God, little children, and have OVERCOME them, because He who is IN you is GREATER than he who is IN the world. 5 They ARE of the world. Therefore, they SPEAK as of the world, and the world HEARS them. 6 We ARE of God. He who KNOWS God HEARS us; he who is NOT of God DOES NOT HEAR us. By this we KNOW the spirit of TRUTH and the spirit of ERROR” 1 John 4:4-6/NKJV. 

Therefore, to ensure and enact in essence the charged to “OCCUPY TILL I COME”, it’s very much imperative to let the God given resources in Christ Jesus for us to do life and live godly becomes effectuate, which are these – TIME, EFFORT, FINANCE, MATERIAL and PEOPLE (PERSONNEL). We must ensure that they do count and account for our good and goodness as given. Suffice to know that in real life definition, SUCCESS IS FAILURE TURN INSIDE OUT – which is a result of one respecting the opportunity to diligently and prudently utilised one’s given resources in principle, responsibility and accountability. And by ensuring this, you can become what you want to be if you walk in wisdom with your God given resource in your day-to-day plan, purpose and pursuit irrespective of the challenges that comes in doing LIFE and living GODLY in Christ Jesus stead. 

“Grace and PEACE be MULTIPLIED to you in the KNOWLEDGE of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His DIVINE POWER has GIVEN to us ALL THINGS that PERTAIN to LIFE and GODLINESS, through the KNOWLEDGE of Him who CALLED us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been GIVEN to us exceedingly great and PRECIOUS PROMISES, that through these you may be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” 2 Peter 1:3-4/NKJV. 

It is on this platform knowing what’s given to us for one to ‘OCCUPY TILL I COME’, that one can be driven toward being EARTHLY USEFUL and HEAVENLY MINDED as scripturally mandated; more so, to live and ensure and enact the being of A MORE THAN CONQUERORS; and to live a COLOURFUL and THRIVING life instead of being a SURVIVAL who is wanting to go to heaven so quickly in order to avoid and do away with the life challenges which some likely to ascertain for self-pity and escape route, supposedly. 

In a nutshell, the Month October as themed could be characterised but not limited into these headings: 

•  You are called to ‘OCCUPY TILL I COME’ – in order for you to be of EARTHLY USEFUL and HEAVENLY MINDED – and not to be the one that’s hurrying for an escape route from life principle of responsibility and accountability due to trials, challenges, circumstances and such like as written: 

“And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they THOUGHT that the kingdom of God should IMMEDIATELY APPEAR. 12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. 13 And he CALLED his ten servants, and DELIVERED them ten pounds, and SAID unto them, OCCUPY TILL I COME . . .” Luke 19:11-27. 

•  You are CREATED and MANDATED to be FRUITFUL, to MULTIPLY, to REPLENISH and to SUBDUE and to have DOMINION (Live and Reign In DOMINION) in the earth; FOR THE EARTH IS MADE FOR MAN (YOU) AND NOT THE MAN (YOU) FOR THE EARTH. This is very important to be known. 

“And God said, Let us MAKE man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have DOMINION over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God CREATED man in his own image, in the image of God CREATED he him; male and female CREATED he them. 28 And God BLESSED them, and God SAID unto them, Be FRUITFUL, and MULTIPLY, and REPLENISH the earth, and SUBDUE it: and have DOMINION over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” Genesis 1:26-28. 

•  You are LOVED and CALLED to live – A MORE THAN CONQUERORS with ease as your rights and privileges in Christ Jesus in REDEMPTION. 

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the CALLED according to his PURPOSE . . . 37 Nay, in all these things we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS through him that LOVED us” Romans 8:28, 37. 

• You are CALLED and ASSURED to live VICTORIOUSLY in Redemption as your rights and privileges in Christ Jesus. 

“But thanks be to God, which GIVETH us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Corinthians 15:57. 

•  You are CALLED and CAUSE to live always in TRIUMPH in Christ Jesus, thereby manifesting the exquisite fragrance of His KNOWLEDGE in us. 

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to TRIUMPH in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place” 2 Corinthians 2:14. 

•  You are CALLED and REDEEMED to live and reign in DOMINION over sin and its effect – POVERTY, SICKNESS and SPIRITUAL DEATH. Hallelujah! 

“For SIN shall not have DOMINION over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace” Romans 6:14. 

“For he hath MADE him to be SIN for us, who KNEW NO SIN; that we might be MADE the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in him” 2 Corinthians 5:21. 

I pray that you are BLESSED in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus. to succeed, triumph empowered and be victorious and in dominion and more than conquerors, as you adhere to Christ Jesus mandate, charge, commission and command to us – “OCCUPY TILL I COME” – by being EARTHLY USEFUL and HEAVENLY MINDED, as we await His return. “What is man, that thou art MINDFUL of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. 6 Thou MADEST him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: 7 all sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; 8 the fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas” Psalms 8:4-8.

“Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.
