MORE THAN CONQUERORS 

MORE THAN CONQUERORS: YOUR RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES IN REDEMPTION! 

“Nay, in all these things WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS through HIM that LOVED us” Romans 8:37 

IT’S TIME TO APPROPRIATE AND ENACT TO RECEIVE THE NEEDED ENABLING OF WHO YOU ARE AS MORE THAN CONQUERORS IN CHRIST JESUS. 

One gracious and graceful thing God DID FOR US in REDEMPTION by Christ Jesus was and is, to ENSURE and AUTHENTICATE that we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS IN REDEMPTION; hence, Christ Jesus RECEIVES and GIVES GIFTS to us, as our RIGHTS and PRIVILEGES in HIM. 

And Jesus RECEIVED and GAVE to us these REDEMPTION rights and privileges to enable us to STAY AFLOAT as MORE THAN CONQUERORS IN REDEMPTION. 

There are Seven (7) Spiritual blessings and Five (5) Ministerial gifts, which are firstly in the heavenly places, and we are to APPROPRIATE and ENACT them on earth. 

Today, we can virtually see the five in manifestation and operation, but there is a STRUGGLE with the seven in the Believer’s day-to-day living. But WHY? 

When you watch some ACTS and LISTEN to the use of WORD in the course of most PRAYERS, TEACHING and PREACHING, you wonder if indeed some people KNOW that what God has given them only requires ACCEPTANCE with THANKSGIVING and THANKS-LIVING to help one APPROPRIATE and ENACT it into REALITY. 

In life, when you are given something, say a gift, you RECEIVE and ACCEPT it with thanks. You don’t go about ASKING again and again for what’s already GIVEN to you. 

Unfortunately, the continuous attitude of ASKING for the same thing is what most Believers have made their practice in Prayers, even in their FASTING GALORE to measure spirituality; and instead of RECEIVING and GIVING THANKS they are ASKING and ASKING and ASKING… 

Instead of them to see the need to maintain a HEART of GRATITUDE as the ATTITUDE in which they will then enhance their ALTITUDE in life and godliness in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus. 

Most times Believers are occupied with programs that are more or less attached with religious obligations, traditions/customs of men, oblations and bye-laws, dogmas, and such like; and these in most cases have kept us in a particular routine and setting with no substance that can do us any good in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

We FAST and PRAY for the same thing and stay in the same acts and process just because it seems good, even when it’s obvious we are acting and praying AMISS and in ERROR and UNSCRIPTURALLY. 

That is not the Gospel of God in our Redemption in Christ Jesus; and as such, we cannot APPROPRIATE and ENACT our rights and privileges WHOLLY, COMPLETELY and at the same time live as MORE THAN CONQUERORS in our REDEMPTION.  

Therefore, it is your TIME to EXPRESS in order to ENACT and AUTHENTICATE your FAITH with the heartfelt attitude of RECEIVING, THANKSGIVING and THANKS-LIVING, which is the PRINCIPLE CORE to your rights and privileges in these seven (7) key REDEMPTION DONE DEALS for us in Christ as stated: 

1. POWER (Authority) — In place of fear, oppression, intimidation etc. [Luke 10:19; 2 Timothy 1:7]
2. RICHES (Prosperity) — In place of poverty, hunger, famine, lack etc. [3 John 2; 2 Corinthians 8:9; Philippians 4:19; Ephesians 1:3]
3. WISDOM (Mental) — Sound mind & mental IQ in place of ignorance, foolishness etc. [James 1:5; Luke 2:40, 52]
4. STRENGTH (Physique) — In place of weakness, sickness, and all ‘ness etc. [Philippians 4:13; Isaiah 40:28-30]
5. HONOUR (Dignity) — In place of dishonour, shame, disdain, inferiority etc. [Colossians 1:13-14; Ephesians 1:7; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21]
6. GLORY (Beauty & Adoration) — In place of reproach, embarrassment, ashes, shame etc. [Isaiah 61:3; 1 Peter 2:5, 9]
7. BLESSING (Empowering & Bestowed Grace) — In place of curses, setbacks, stagnation etc. [Ephesians 1:3; Proverbs 10:22; 2 Peter 1:2-4]

I pray that THESE that Christ has RECEIVED and GIVEN us in His REDEMPTION DEED will be APPROPRIATED and ENACTED in our lives accordingly. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who HAD BLESSED us with all SPIRITUAL blessings in HEAVENLY places in Christ” Ephesians 1:3. 

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 and hast MADE us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth . . . 12 saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to RECEIVE POWER, and RICHES, and WISDOM, and STRENGHT, and HONOUR, and GLORY, and BLESSING” Revelation 5:9-12. 

“Thou hast ASCENDED on high, thou hast LED captivity captive: thou hast RECEIVED gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them” Psalms 68:18. 

“Wherefore he saith, When he ASCENDED up on high, he LED captivity captive, and GAVE gifts unto men . . . 11 And he GAVE some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers” Ephesians 4:7-11. 

SUMMARY 
The message is A CHARGE TO BELIEVERS TO STOP BEGGING FOR WHAT REDEMPTION HAS ALREADY GIVEN AND TO BEGIN APPROPRIATING AND ENACTING OUR RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES AS “MORE THAN CONQUERORS” IN CHRIST JESUS. 

It teaches that God has already ENSURED and AUTHENTICATED our victory in Redemption, and Christ has RECEIVED and GIVEN us Gifts, Blessings and Enablement as our inheritance. The struggle in the church today is not lack, but failure to RECEIVE with THANKSGIVING and THANKS-LIVING. 

KEY POINTS: 

1. OUR POSITION IN REDEMPTION

• God’s gracious act in Redemption was to ENSURE and AUTHENTICATE that we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS IN REDEMPTION — Romans 8:37 

• Christ RECEIVES and GIVES GIFTS to us as our RIGHTS and PRIVILEGES IN HIM to enable us to STAY AFLOAT as conquerors.

2. WHAT HAS BEEN GIVEN: 7 + 5

• Seven (7) Spiritual Blessings which are FIRSTLY in heavenly places: POWER, RICHES, WISDOM, STRENGTH, HONOUR, GLORY, BLESSING — [Revelation 5:12, Ephesians 1:3] 

• Five (5) Ministerial Gifts: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers — [Ephesians 4:11] 

• We can see the 5 Ministerial Gifts in operation today, but there is a STRUGGLE with the 7 Spiritual Blessings in the Believer’s day-to-day living.

3. THE PROBLEM: ASKING INSTEAD OF RECEIVING

• Many Believers live in religious routines, traditions, dogmas and “FASTING GALORE” yet keep ASKING and ASKING for what God has already GIVEN. 

• This is praying AMISS, in ERROR and UNSCRIPTURALLY — James 4:3 

• What God has given only requires ACCEPTANCE with THANKSGIVING and THANKS-LIVING to APPROPRIATE and ENACT it into REALITY. 

• When you are given a gift, you don’t keep asking for it. You RECEIVE and GIVE THANKS.

4. THE PRINCIPLE: GRATITUDE RAISES ALTITUDE

• Instead of ASKING, we need a HEART of GRATITUDE as the ATTITUDE that will enhance our ALTITUDE in life and godliness in God’s BLESSEDNESS. 

• The 7 Redemption Done Deals are for: 

• POWER — instead of fear [Luke 10:19] 
   

• RICHES — instead of lack [2 Corinthians 8:9] 
   

• WISDOM — instead of ignorance [James 1:5] 
   

• STRENGTH — instead of sickness [Philippians 4:13] 
   

• HONOUR — instead of shame [Ephesians 1:7] 
   

• GLORY — instead of reproach [Isaiah 61:3] 
   

• BLESSING — instead of curses [Proverbs 10:22]
