POSSESSING YOUR REDEMPTION POSSESSION IN CHRIST JESUS: THE “DEED OF RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES” MADE POSSIBLE BY YOUR FAITH COMMUNICATION! 

“That the COMMUNICATION of your FAITH may become EFFECTUAL [PRODUCTIVE, RESULT ORIENTED, EFFECTIVE] by the ACKNOWLEDGING of every GOOD THING which is IN you IN Christ Jesus” Philemon 6/Emphasis mine. 

Beloved in Christ, enough of the self-defeated mindset of complain-hallelujah lifestyle you live – day in and day out; and much more, as you have proclaimed by way of a stamp over these years in circles and circuses. It is your time in Christ Jesus to ENACT, ENSURE and ACTUALISE the essence of being born of God in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

There is the DEED OF RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES IN REDEMPTION with your name ENGRAVED in it by virtue of being born of God in Christ Jesus; but it is your prerogative to ASK, SEEK and KNOCK after it in order to make it a reality for you. You ASK, SEEK and KNOCK to obtain because you have ACKNOWLEDGED this good deed of God in Christ Jesus’ stead concerning you. God knows you have a need, but He wants your fellowship participation to make the deal yours and not someone else’s. Hence the call to ASK, to SEEK and to KNOCK that you might RECEIVE in the grace: 

“ASK, and it shall be given you; SEEK, and ye shall find; KNOCK, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 for every one that ASKETH receiveth; and he that SEEKETH findeth; and to him that KNOCKETH it shall be opened” Matthew 7:7-8 

You need to know also that your REDEMPTION reality can only be made possible by these, but not limited to: 

• FIRSTLY, through the ACKNOWLEDGING of your DEED OF RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES IN THE KINGDOM as a result of what Christ Jesus – His FINISHED WORK – has DONE for you and for all who are in Him.
  “. . . the ACKNOWLEDGING of every GOOD THING which is IN YOU in Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6. 

• AND SECONDLY, by your UNDERSTANDING of the KNOW-HOW of COMMUNICATING your KNOWN FAITH in Christ Jesus to matters of LIFE and GODLINESS in ALL areas of living life, even as it is written: 

That the COMMUNICATION OF YOUR FAITH may become EFFECTUAL (productive, result oriented, effective) . . .” Philemon 1:6. 

And until you can ENSURE, ENACT and ACTUALISE the essence of the REDEMPTION of Christ in you and for you, the COMMUNICATION of your FAITH in Christ to life matters will always be a struggle, strange, tasking and burdensome in many ways – which is contrary to God’s gracious WORD in 1 John 5:3. It is because of these limitations that there are many, unfortunately, ‘AMEN’, ‘HALLELUJAH’ ‘I RECEIVE’ and ‘BLESS ME’ Christians around, despite their long-standing efforts in the Churches of Christ, their unending fasting and prayers, and the various set traditional dogmas, creeds, and religious steps they might have taken to make the essence of REDEMPTION real in EVERY AREA of doing life. Beloved in Christ Jesus, these OUGHT not to be so, knowing and understanding all that Christ Jesus has BECOME to us in Him by REDEMPTION. 

You can only APPROPRIATE and ENACT it through PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING of your REDEMPTION in Christ – of all that God has DONE IN YOU, DONE FOR YOU, DONE WITH YOU and is DOING THROUGH YOU by His WORD through the promised and given HOLY SPIRIT. 

Here are a few REASONS to seek for KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING of all that God — His FINISHED WORK — DID for you in Christ Jesus, in order to APPROPRIATE your REDEMPTION into reality as a POSSESSION: 

That a man’s ignorance is his own mountain, but the KNOWLEDGE of the truth gives freedom and dominion — John 8:32 

That KNOWLEDGE will deliver you from life and scriptural errors, and helps you engage with God’s power to save, deliver and restore — Matthew 22:29 

• That your dominion in life is a product of your KNOWLEDGE — Daniel 11:32

• That a man’s value for KNOWLEDGE determines his ultimate worth — Isaiah 33:6 

• That KNOWLEDGE is power, freedom and dominion, while religion is imprisonment and bondage — Luke 11:52

• That the GRACE that determines our status is a function of KNOWLEDGE — 2 Peter 1:2

• That when you run after KNOWLEDGE, goodness and mercy run after you — Proverbs 1:22, 29-33

• That people who hate KNOWLEDGE cannot secure heaven’s favour — Proverbs 13:15; Hosea 4:6; Isaiah 5:13-15

• That age is not equal to KNOWLEDGE, and should not be taken for KNOWLEDGE — Job 32:7-9

• That if your thoughts are not updated, your life will be outdated — Proverbs 24:5

• That when you add a little MORE KNOWLEDGE to your life daily, you live a little better — Proverbs 4:18

• That whatever you have no value for, you have no access to — Mark 6:5-6

• That studying for KNOWLEDGE is not a transferable responsibility — 2 Timothy 2:15

• That the only authentic proof of KNOWLEDGE is freedom and liberty — John 8:32

• That when you don’t grow in the spirit of KNOWLEDGE, you end up groaning in life — 2 Peter 3:18 
• That those who seek to know men, don’t know God; when you seek to know God, people will seek to know you — Jeremiah 17:5-8; Matthew 6:24

• That your KNOWLEDGE of Jesus makes you absolutely sure of tomorrow — John 17:3; Isaiah 33:6

• And that you cannot POSSESS a lasting POSSESSION with unsecured KNOWLEDGE — Proverbs 25:2; Job 23:12; Matthew 22:29

SUMMARY: 
The message is a call to POSSESS your REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus by KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING, and EFFECTUAL FAITH COMMUNICATION, so that the “DEED OF RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES” already engraved in your name becomes a lived reality. 

It confronts the cycle of religious striving, complaint and empty confessions, and insists that REDEMPTION is a FINISHED DEED. Our responsibility is to APPROPRIATE it through personal KNOWLEDGE and active partnership with God. 

KEY POINTS 

1. REDEMPTION is a DONE DEED with a DEED OF RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES 
   In Christ Jesus, God has already secured your rights and privileges. Your name is ENGRAVED in that deed by virtue of the new birth. But possession requires your participation.
2. Faith must be COMMUNICATED to become EFFECTUAL 
   Philemon 1:6 — “That the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the ACKNOWLEDGING of every GOOD THING which is IN thee in Christ Jesus.” 
   Faith is productive and result-oriented when you ACKNOWLEDGE what Christ has DONE IN YOU, FOR YOU, WITH YOU and is DOING THROUGH YOU.
3. ASK, SEEK, KNOCK is the pattern of appropriation 
   God knows your need, but He requires fellowship participation. Matthew 7:7-8 shows that receiving, finding and open doors come to those who ASK, SEEK and KNOCK. This is how you make the deed yours and not someone else’s.
4. Two pillars that make REDEMPTION reality: 

• ACKNOWLEDGING the DEED OF RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES IN THE KINGDOM because of Christ’s FINISHED WORK.
• UNDERSTANDING the KNOW-HOW of COMMUNICATING your KNOWN FAITH to matters of LIFE and GODLINESS

Ignorance is the enemy of possession 
18 reasons are given, but the core is: Ignorance builds mountains. KNOWLEDGE gives freedom, dominion, grace, and access. Religion without KNOWLEDGE produces bondage, groaning, and a “complain-hallelujah” lifestyle of AMEN and BLESS ME Christians. 
 
KNOWLEDGE is personal and non-transferable 
Age does not equal KNOWLEDGE. Studying is your responsibility — 2 Timothy 2:15. The proof of true KNOWLEDGE is liberty — John 8:32. When you seek God in KNOWLEDGE, your life is secured and people will seek you — Jeremiah 17:5-8; Matthew 6:24. 
 

Without ENACTING, ENSURING and ACTUALISING REDEMPTION, faith becomes burdensome 
This contradicts 1 John 5:3. Fasting, prayers, dogmas and creeds cannot replace PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING. 

Call to Action 

1. STOP the self-defeated, complain-hallelujah cycle. Choose to grow beyond empty confessions. 
2. ACKNOWLEDGE every GOOD THING that is IN YOU in Christ Jesus. Consciously declare and agree with the DEED OF RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES you have in Him. 
3. PURPOSEFULLY PURSUE KNOWLEDGE — Study the Word, 2 Timothy 2:15. Update your thoughts daily so your life does not become outdated — Proverbs 24:5. 
4. COMMUNICATE YOUR FAITH EFFECTUALLY — Take what you KNOW and apply it to LIFE and GODLINESS. ASK, SEEK and KNOCK until you RECEIVE. 
5. ENACT, ENSURE and ACTUALISE what Christ has FINISHED for you. Move from knowing about REDEMPTION to POSSESSING your POSSESSION. 

Final charge: Redemption is FINISHED. Possession is by KNOWLEDGE. What you ACKNOWLEDGE, you APPROPRIATE. What you APPROPRIATE, you POSSESS. AMEN. GO AFTER KNOWLEDGE AND ENFORCE WHAT IS YOURS!
