THE BLESSED HOLY SPIRIT IS FOR OUR COLOURFUL LIVING: HE’S OUR MEDICINE AND DAILY MEDICINAL TO A GRACIOUS AND GRACEFUL WELL BEING! 

“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever— [17] the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you . . . [26] But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you ” John 14:16-17, 26/Amplified. 

I beckon on you today to engage with the BLESSED Holy Spirit in order to colour your world with life and godly living in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

Herein are the works of the Holy Spirit today, as He did in Christ Jesus in humanity for our earthly good and goodness: 

• To preach good tidings unto the meek 

• To bind up the broken-hearted 

• To proclaim liberty to the captives 

• The opening of the prison to them that are bound 

• To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord 

• The day of vengeance of our God 

• To comfort all that mourn 

In order to authenticate and enact the Holy Spirit’s anointed appointments and discharges in Zion — the Church — which is you; and to endorse the gracious life and godly living as accomplished in Christ Jesus, you need to get on to COLOUR your WORLD. 

That means to PUT ON the daily walk of grace as commissioned in the Holy Spirit’s works. 

Herein is what you need to PUT ON to colour your world graciously: 

• BEAUTY FOR ASHES 

• THE OIL OF JOY FOR MOURNING 

• THE GARMENT OF PRAISE FOR THE SPIRIT OF HEAVINESS 

And by these, God will be GLORIFIED and you will be called: 

• THE TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS 

• THE PLANTING OF THE LORD 

When you engage today with the Anointed Spirit to colour your world in life and godly living, your world will never be the same again. 

For you ARE the TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, THE PLANTING OF THE LORD for Him to be GLORIFIED. 

Therefore, colour your world in these gracious regards by putting on: 

• BEAUTY FOR ASHES 

• THE OIL OF JOY FOR MOURNING 

• THE GARMENT OF PRAISE FOR THE SPIRIT OF HEAVINESS 

Be Blessed in LIFE and GODLINESS in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath ANOINTED me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them BEAUTY for ashes, the OIL of JOY for mourning, the GARMENT of PRAISE for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, THE PLANTING OF THE LORD, that he might be GLORIFIED” Isaiah 61:1-3. 

“The mighty God, even the Lord, hath SPOKEN, and CALLED the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. 2 Out of ZION, the PERFECTION of BEAUTY, God hath SHINED” Psalms 50:1-2. 

“But ye are come unto MOUNT SION, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND CHURCH OF THE FIRSTBORN, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel” Hebrews 12:22-24. 

“And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How BEAUTIFUL are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things” Romans 10:15. 

“He has MADE everything BEAUTIFUL and appropriate in its time. He has also planted ETERNITY [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end” Ecclesiastes 3:11 (Amplified). 

” . . . 14 And Jesus RETURNED in the POWER of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a FAME of him through all the region round about. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. 16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18 The Spirit of the Lord is UPON ME, because he hath ANOINTED me to PREACH the GOSPEL to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to PREACH deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 to PREACH the acceptable year of the Lord. 20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. 22 And all bare him witness, and wondered at the GRACIOUS WORDS which Proceeded out of his MOUTH. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?” Luke 4:1-22.

The message is a charge to engage with the BLESSED HOLY SPIRIT as our source for colourful, gracious, and godly living. It presents the Holy Spirit as our Medicine and daily medicinal help for well-being, and connects the Spirit’s present work in us to the ministry of Christ Jesus, calling us to “PUT ON” specific spiritual garments so that God may be glorified and we may be identified as His righteous planting.

4. The Outcome of This Spirit-Anointed Life 
   When we put these on, God is GLORIFIED and we are called: 
   THE TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS 
   THE PLANTING OF THE LORD 
   We become the Church in Zion — Mount Sion, the heavenly Jerusalem, the general assembly and Church of the Firstborn. Hebrews 12:22-24, Psalms 50:2 
   Scriptural Foundation of Beauty and Purpose 
   God makes everything beautiful in its time and has planted eternity in the human heart. Ecclesiastes 3:11 
   The feet of those who preach the gospel are beautiful. Romans 10:15 
   Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit, anointed to preach gracious words. Luke 4:14-22

Call to Action: 
I beckon you today to engage with the BLESSED Holy Spirit in order to COLOUR YOUR WORLD with life and godly living in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. 
Therefore, PUT ON today:
