THE BLESSING OF GOD 

THE BLESSING OF GOD: IT IS NOT MATERIAL STUFF SUCH AS – CAR, PROPERTY, MONEY AND MORE! 

“The BLESSING of the LORD MAKES a person RICH, He ADDS NO SORROW to it” Proverbs 10:22. 

Having material gains as CAR, PROPERTY, MONEY and MORE may be the RESULTS of God’s BLESSINGS, but they are not THE BLESSING of God. THE BLESSING of God is the ENABLING and ENDOWED grace bestowed upon the BELIEVERS in Christ, and it is firstly SPIRITUAL before it takes a PHYSICAL hold and effect as a result of its operations and manifestations. For there are many people that have obtained all these material things mentioned above through illicit, wicked, oppressive and devilish ways. Could that be God – NO. Hence, those are not THE BLESSING of God. 

“But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee POWER [ENABLING, ENDOWMENT, ENDUEMENT] to GET [CREATE, INNOVATE, INITIATE, EXPLORE] wealth, that he may ESTABLISH his COVENANT which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day” Deuteronomy 8:18. 

Also, ‘Being Blessed of God’ simply MEANS – to be EMPOWERED TO: Succeed, Achieve, Become, Innovate, Create, Get and such like. For it is THE BLESSING of God that makes one ENRICHED in the kingdom and thus SUSTAINS that enrichment; it is not just about having material acquisitions such as money, property, car and more as is commonly known that makes one rich. For money and other material gains HAVE WINGS – they come and they go. But THE BLESSING OF GOD that enriches us ABIDES forever. Meaning, you can keep being EMPOWERED to succeed again and again, no matter what levels of challenges are around you. [Genesis 26:1-5, 12-25]. 

So if you must crave and pursue, CRAVE and PURSUE God’s BLESSING and build your life on God’s blessing which will eventually enrich you, and not just a pursuit of wealth or material acquisitions. 

• God’s BLESSINGS are wholesome, total, complete, fulfilling, peaceful, all- embracing and are not limited to things physical only, but to the TOTAL BEING of man – spirit, soul and body [1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 4:12-13; Luke 2:52]. 

• God’s BLESSINGS empower and create enrichment and fulfilment in His grace. And the New Creation Testament BLESSEDNESS is UNCONDITIONAL, meaning it is not based on “IF” CONDITIONS as it was in the Old Testament due to human frailty and depravity to meet heavenly requirements and demands – which were FULFILLED in Lord Jesus. [Ephesians 1:3; Galatians 3:13-14; Deuteronomy 8:18; Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 5, 9, 11, (1-15)]. 

• Know also that you are POSITIONALLY BLESSED of God already, and it is through KNOWLEDGE that you can ENACT and AUTHENTICATE it into reality [Ephesians 1:3/2 Peter 1:2-4]. And your BLESSEDNESS is HEAVENLY SECURED and PROTECTED in grace [Ephesians 1:3, 20; Ephesians 2:6; Matthew 6:19-20]. And the BLESSEDNESS can be made TANGIBLE by FAITH – by acting on the Word in context accordingly. 

Therefore, I say to you, LIVE ON GOD’S BLESSEDNESS and all other things will come together in due season.  

I pray that the BLESSINGS of God be your vehicle of enrichment in Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath BLESSED us with all SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS in heavenly places in Christ” Ephesians 1:3.

“Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For RICHES certainly makes themselves WINGS; they fly away like an eagle towards heaven” Proverbs 23:5. 

“But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee POWER (Enabling) to GET (Create, Innovate) wealth, that he may ESTABLISH his COVENANT which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day” Deuteronomy 8:18. 

SUMMARY 

This message is a doctrinal and prophetic teaching that separates THE BLESSING OF GOD from mere material results. It calls believers to pursue THE ENABLER, not just the enablement.

• ‘Being Blessed of God’ MEANS — to be EMPOWERED TO: Succeed, Achieve, Become, Innovate, Create, Get and such like. 

• THE BLESSING makes one ENRICHED in the Kingdom and SUSTAINS that enrichment. 

• Material gains HAVE WINGS — they come and go. But THE BLESSING OF GOD ABIDES forever. 

• With THE BLESSING, you can be EMPOWERED to succeed again and again, no matter the challenges. — [Genesis 26:1-5, 12-25] 

3. THE SCOPE: WHOLESOME & TOTAL

5. THE CHARGE & PRAYER

• If you must crave and pursue, CRAVE and PURSUE God’s BLESSING. Build your life on it, not just on wealth or material acquisitions. 

• LIVE ON GOD’S BLESSEDNESS and all other things will come together in due season. — [Matthew 6:33] 

• Prayer: May the BLESSINGS of God be your vehicle of enrichment in Jesus’ precious name, Amen.
