THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST – THE ONLY GENUINE HOPE – FOR YOUR SALVATION: IN LIFE AND GODLY LIVING! 

“For I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST: for it is THE POWER of God unto SALVATION to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith” Romans 1:16-17. 

“I am not ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL, for it is the POWER of God for salvation [from His wrath and punishment] to everyone who believes [in Christ as Savior], to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in THE GOSPEL the righteousness of God is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed in a way that awakens more faith]. As it is written and forever remains written, “The just and upright shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17 (Amplified). 

“Yea, so have I strived to PREACH THE GOSPEL, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation: 21 but as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand” Romans 15:20-21. 

“GO, STAND and SPEAK in the temple to the people ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LIFE” Acts 5:20. 

SUMMARY: 
This message is a bold declaration and charge to PREACH, BELIEVE, and LIVE by THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST — because it is the ONLY GENUINE HOPE FOR SALVATION. 

  1. THE POWER AND NATURE OF THE GOSPEL

Romans 1:16-17 — For I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST: for it is THE POWER of God unto SALVATION to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 
Romans 1:16-17 AMP — it is the POWER of God for salvation [from His wrath and punishment] to everyone who believes [in Christ as Savior] 

  • THE GOSPEL is THE POWER of God. It is not mere words or religion. 
  • It is UNTO SALVATION — deliverance from sin, wrath, and punishment. 
  • It is FOR EVERYONE THAT BELIEVETH — Jew and Greek, no exception. 
  • In THE GOSPEL the righteousness of God is revealed — from faith to faith and leading to faith. 
  • THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH. Faith is the lifestyle the Gospel produces. 
  1. THE MANDATE TO PREACH THE GOSPEL

Romans 15:20-21 — so have I strived to PREACH THE GOSPEL, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation… To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand 

  • The apostolic drive was to take THE GOSPEL to new grounds — where Christ had not been named. 
  • The goal: that those who have not heard shall UNDERSTAND and those who have not been spoken to shall SEE.
    Acts 5:20 — GO, STAND and SPEAK in the temple to the people ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LIFE 
  • This is a divine command. We are to GO, STAND and SPEAK ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LIFE — nothing withheld, nothing diluted. 
  1. THE FINAL CHARGE

THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST JESUS is God’s ONLY PLACE FOR YOUR SALVATION — in LIFE and in GODLY LIVING. 
Therefore: 

Be NOT ASHAMED of it. 

BELIEVE it — for salvation comes by faith. 

LIVE by it — the just shall live by faith. 

PREACH it — go and speak ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LIFE. 

THE GOSPEL is your genuine hope. THE GOSPEL is God’s power. THE GOSPEL is life.

OUR FAITH – THE VICTORY: THE SPIRITUAL, VITAL AND LEGAL TENDER TO DO LIFE AND KINGDOM BUSINESS ON EARTH! 

“HOLDING the MYSTERY OF THE FAITH in a PURE conscience” 1 Timothy 3:9. 

FAITH is not a DOCTRINE or CREED or BYE-LAWS and such like and has NONE in it. It is SPIRITUAL, LEGAL and VITAL to our Christian walk transactions; and it is imperative and important in helping us become that which God intended us to be. Faith is of God and the only scriptural possible means to PLEASE God. It is a product of the Spirit and it is synergised by the Word of God (John 6:63; Romans 10:17; Hebrews 11). FAITH comes at the hearing and Faith goes away at No continuous hearing of the WORD of God – meaning FAITH realisation and actualisation is dependent on the CONTINUOUS response to the WORD of God (Romans 10:17; John 8:30-32; Acts 20:32; 2 Timothy 2:15; 2 Timothy 3:14-17). 

Currently in the World, the DE FACTO tender for exchange is the US Dollar. 

If one transacts business outside another nation’s acceptable legal tender — say Dollars ‘$’ for the USA or Pound Sterling ‘£’ for the United Kingdom and such like — your action will warrant counterfeit trafficking, and an arrest will take place no matter who you are. 

In the same scenario, there is NO single being that has walked on the face of the earth with meaningful and achievable kingdom results that has nothing to show from a life of FAITH — for it is the ONLY legal and vital tender between the Heavenly and the Earthly, in all LIFE and GODLY LIVING business affairs. 

Hence there is the NEED to WALK IN FAITH and, most importantly, CONTEND in Life FOR THE FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS. AMEN. 

The reason is because Faith is the VICTORY by which life warfare can be dealt with and overcome at every level of life in the world and in EARTHLY affairs. 

 (1 John 5:4-5; Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Jude 1:3-4; 1 Peter 5:8-11). 

Faith is bringing the unseen to the seen [ 2 Corinthians 4:13, 18]. 
God deals with all according to: ‘THE’ measure of Faith and not by ‘A’ measure of faith. 
That makes the vehicle ‘FAITH’ SPIRITUAL, VITAL and LEGAL TENDER to all of life’s endeavours, kingdom business advancement, and in keeping the enemy and his cohorts at bay. 

Therefore, keep your walk of FAITH alive and STEADY in all LIFE and GODLY LIVING ramifications. 
All things are POSSIBLE unto them whose FAITH IS ACTING on whom and what they BELIEVE of God in His WORD by the Holy Spirit. AMEN — Mark 9:23; Mark 10:27 and Matthew 19:26

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“For I say, through THE GRACE GIVEN UNTO ME, to EVERY MAN that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath DEALT to every man THE MEASURE OF FAITH” Romans 12:3. 

“But unto every one of us is given grace according to THE MEASURE OF THE GIFT OF CHRIST” Ephesians 4:7. 

“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should EARNESTLY CONTEND FOR THE FAITH which was once delivered unto the saints” Jude 1:3. 

“keeping your FAITH [leaning completely on God with absolute trust and confidence in His guidance] and having a good conscience; for some [people] have rejected [their moral compass] and have made a SHIPWRECK of their FAITH” 1 Timothy 1:19 (Amplified). 

“HOLDING the MYSTERY OF THE FAITH in a PURE conscience” 1 Timothy 3:9. 

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the VICTORY that OVERCOMETH the world, even OUR FAITH. 5 Who is he that OVERCOMETH the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5. 

SUMMARY: 

This message is a Kingdom charge and teaching on FAITH as the legal currency of the Kingdom — the only vehicle that makes DOING LIFE and KINGDOM BUSINESS on earth possible. 

  1. THE NATURE OF FAITH
  • FAITH is not a DOCTRINE, CREED, or BYE-LAWS. It has NONE of that in it. 
  • FAITH is SPIRITUAL, LEGAL and VITAL to our Christian walk and transactions. 
  • Faith is of God and the only scriptural possible means to PLEASE God Hebrews 11:6. 
  • It is a product of the Spirit and is synergised by the Word of God John 6:63; Romans 10:17; Hebrews 11. 
  • FAITH comes by hearing, and Faith goes away at NO continuous hearing of the WORD of God.

DOING LIFE BY CHARISMA AND CHARACTER

DOING LIFE BY CHARISMA AND CHARACTER: IT’S MADE POSSIBLE BY THE HOLY SPIRIT IN REDEMPTION! 

“As for you, the ANOINTING [the SPECIAL gift, the preparation] which you RECEIVED from Him remains [permanently] in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But just as His ANOINTING teaches you [giving you insight through the PRESENCE of the Holy Spirit] about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as His ANOINTING has TAUGHT you, you must REMAIN in Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him]” 1 John 2:27/AMP. 

Being CHARISMATIC is a gracious tool in life and godliness for anyone, especially for the born-again believer of God in Christ Jesus. But one’s CHARACTER is the only vehicle to sustain the CHARISMA in doing life and living godly, and to continuously enjoy A MORE THAN CONQUEROR’S life in our REDEMPTION, in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

It then means CHARISMA is of NO PURPOSE, if one is found wanting in CHARACTER. It makes the whole PURPOSE of being MORE THAN CONQUERORS IN REDEMPTION caricatured and laughable. For CHARACTER speaks of ATTITUDE, BEHAVIOUR, INTEGRITY and HONESTY, JUSTICE, TRUSTWORTHINESS and TRUTH and such like, in the Holy Spirit that’s given unto us in redemption. 

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is SHED [LAVISHED, SPREAD] abroad in our HEARTS by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us” Romans 5:5/Emphasis Mine. 

In life, most people are most likely to be carried away by CHARISMA, which unfortunately is not sustainable in the course of time without CHARACTER. Hence these WISDOM NUGGETS are needful for guidance, as I hereby state: 

“The CHARISMA – capacity, talents and the goods of riches, friends, certificates, politics, enterprise and more, may TAKE you to the TOP, but only INTEGRITY, ATTITUDE, BEHAVIOUR and such like, the essence of CHARACTER, will sustain you there with honour and dignity” 

However, to operate graciously and gracefully in life and godliness – CHARISMA and CHARACTER – are ESSENTIALS to DOING LIFE and LIVING GODLY, in order to ensure A MORE THAN CONQUEROR’S life IN REDEMPTION; and the NEED to continuously walk in and by the HOLY SPIRIT is imperative, to APPROPRIATE and ENACT these virtues of CHARISMA and CHARACTER on A daily basis.                                    

The knowing and understanding of these essential virtues are indicated in these scriptural contexts: 

CHARISMA (capacity, productivity and talents) is an act of the GIFTS by the Holy Spirit, written in 1 Corinthians 12:9-12; 1 John 2:20, 27. 

CHARACTER (attitude, behaviour, integrity, honesty and truth) is an act of the FRUIT of the Holy Spirit, as written in Galatians 5:22-23; Matthew 7:15-20; John 15:1-16. 

The Holy Spirit is the PERSONALITY that ENABLES God’s GRACE to activate a genuine CHARISMA and CHARACTER. Therefore, to ensure a genuine CHARISMA and CHARACTER in life and godliness, you need to be BUILT UP by the Holy Spirit through the WORD of God as in the Holy Writ.  

Thriving in God’s BLESSEDNESS through balancing the essence of CHARISMA And CHARACTER makes DOING LIFE and LIVING GODLY in Christ Jesus a COMPLETE GOSPEL. 

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“But you, beloved, BUILD yourselves UP on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an EDIFICE higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit, 21 and keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously and looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ [which will bring you] to eternal life” Jude 20-21 (Amplified). 

“These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26 But the COMFORTER, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall TEACH you all things, and BRING all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you” John 14:25-26. 

“But the ANOINTING which ye have RECEIVED of him ABIDETH in you, and ye need not that any man TEACH you: but as the same ANOINTING TEACHETH you of all things, and is TRUTH, and is NO LIE, and even as it hath TAUGHT you, ye shall ABIDE in him” 1 John 2:27. 

SUMMARY: 

This message is a Kingdom teaching and charge on balancing CHARISMA with CHARACTER through the Holy Spirit to live a victorious, sustained Christian life in Redemption. 

  1. THE SOURCE: THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE ANOINTING
  • DOING LIFE BY CHARISMA AND CHARACTER IS MADE POSSIBLE BY THE HOLY SPIRIT IN REDEMPTION. 
  • The believer has received the ANOINTING — the SPECIAL gift, the preparation — which REMAINS PERMANENTLY in you 1 John 2:27. 
  • The Holy Spirit as the COMFORTER TEACHES you all things, BRINGS things to remembrance, and gives insight John 14:25-26. 
  • “The LOVE of God is SHED abroad in our HEARTS by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us” Romans 5:5. 
  • The Holy Spirit is the PERSONALITY that ENABLES God’s GRACE to activate genuine CHARISMA and CHARACTER. 
  1. DEFINITION AND ROLE OF CHARISMA

  • CHARACTER speaks of ATTITUDE, BEHAVIOUR, INTEGRITY, HONESTY, JUSTICE, TRUSTWORTHINESS and TRUTH and such like, produced in the Holy Spirit. 
  • CHARACTER is an act of the FRUIT of the Holy Spirit Galatians 5:22-23; Matthew 7:15-20; John 15:1-16. 
  • Without CHARACTER, CHARISMA is of NO PURPOSE. It makes the whole purpose of being MORE THAN CONQUERORS IN REDEMPTION caricatured and laughable. 
  • Only INTEGRITY, ATTITUDE, BEHAVIOUR and the essence of CHARACTER will sustain you at the top with honour and dignity. 
  1. THE MANDATE: BALANCE AND BUILD UP
  • CHARISMA and CHARACTER are ESSENTIALS to DOING LIFE and LIVING GODLY. 
  • There is a NEED to continuously walk in and by the HOLY SPIRIT to APPROPRIATE and ENACT these virtues on A daily basis. 
  • To ensure genuine CHARISMA and CHARACTER, you must be BUILT UP by the Holy Spirit through the WORD of God as in the Holy Writ. 
  • “BUILD yourselves UP on [the foundation of] your most holy faith… pray in the Holy Spirit, and keep yourselves in the love of God” Jude 20-21. 
  • Thriving in God’s BLESSEDNESS through balancing CHARISMA AND CHARACTER makes DOING LIFE and LIVING GODLY in Christ Jesus A COMPLETE GOSPEL. 
  1. WARNING AND WISDOM NUGGET

WISDOM NUGGET: 
“The CHARISMA — capacity, talents and the goods of riches, friends, certificates, politics, enterprise and more — may TAKE you to the TOP, but only INTEGRITY, ATTITUDE, BEHAVIOUR and such like, the essence of CHARACTER, will sustain you there with honour and dignity.” 

Most people are carried away by CHARISMA, forgetting that without CHARACTER it will not last. 

  1. FINAL CHARGE

God has given you the ANOINTING that abides. He has given you GIFTS for CHARISMA and FRUIT for CHARACTER. 
Build up, remain in Him, walk by the Spirit, and let both charisma and character reflect Christ, so your life becomes a complete Gospel.

STOP CRYING AS ONE WITHOUT HOPE, FAITH AND LOVE IN GOD

STOP CRYING AS ONE WITHOUT HOPE, FAITH AND LOVE IN GOD: FOR IN YOUR DARK AND DARKNESS – THERE IS GOD’S GLORY AND BEAUTY! 

“Therefore we do not become DISCOURAGED [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid]. Though our OUTER self is [progressively] wasting away, yet our INNER self is being [progressively] RENEWED day by day. 17 For our MOMENTARY, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]! 18 So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Amplified. 

I know what tears and pain and disappointment FEEL and LOOK like. I know what setbacks with hopelessness, faithlessness, lovelessness LOOK like. I know how it feels when it seems there should be no tomorrow. I know how it feels to wish the morning was night and the night was day; and when the day and night SEEM so long that you wish you could BURY YOUR HEAD IN THE SAND LIKE AN OSTRICH INSTEAD OF SOARING LIKE AN EAGLE; And when the darkness seems so dark that nothing in life matters anymore and all you think about is to stop living because you are overwhelmed with the matters of life. I know how it looks when all one can see is DANGER and such like, and nothing meaningful, purposeful and fulfilling anymore. I have seen it in many forms to know it is ONLY by God and THROUGH God in Christ Jesus’ stead that we can come through under the Sun in humanity. 

“In the beginning God CREATED the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without FORM, and VOID; and DARKNESS was UPON the FACE of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, LET THERE BE LIGHT: AND THERE WAS LIGHT. 4 And God SAW the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called THE LIGHT Day, and THE DARKNESS He called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day” Genesis 1:1-5. 

And I have come a long way and grown to know that God does not shine light UPON darkness but causes light to shine OUT OF darkness for His glory and our BLESSEDNESS. As He spoke to the void and formless earth that light should come forth out of the darkness that was overpowering the earth, and there was – and there is – light. The light became the order for the day [morning and evening] and the dark and darkness became the order for the night. That’s what OUR CREATING GOD can do in the midst of anything that’s overwhelming us in life and grace. 

“For God, who commanded THE LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS, hath SHINED in our hearts, TO GIVE THE LIGHT of the knowledge of the GLORY of God in the FACE of Jesus Christ” 2 Corinthians 4:6. 

And I want you to know what else I know – God DOES bring forth LIGHT OUT OF EVERY DARK and DARKNESS that shows up in our day-to-day challenges. The dark and darkness that show up momentarily, or as long-standing obstacles in metaphorical form as MOUNTAIN, VALLEY, CROOKED ROAD and ROUGH PLACES, in our path of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus’ stead. I am very certain and assured that God will not OVERSHADOW that darkness with light just to keep you in CIRCUS but will BRING FORTH LIGHT OUT OF that seemingly impossible DARK PLACE and the DARKNESS with the needed and needful graciousness and gracefulness in His BLESSEDNESS. For God’s intent is to see you GLOW, REJUVENATE, REFRESH and BLOSSOM out of “THAT” dark and darkness you are dealing with right now. I know it without a shadow of a doubt, because every river of challenge that I have seen, walked through and gone through has made me BETTER than BITTER – because I know the essence of LIGHT OUT OF DARKNESS in doing LIFE and LIVING GODLY. 

“But the PATH of the JUST (RIGHTEOUS) is like the LIGHT of dawn, that SHINES BRIGHTER and BRIGHTER until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the PERFECT (DAWN) day” Proverbs 4:18 Amplified. 

Therefore be at peace with yourself today, for the DAYSTAR in you, which is Christ Jesus the Saviour and Lord for today, tomorrow and always, will shine again in you and through you, and many in darkness will come to your light in Him to share in your joy and testimony of grace. For darkness CAN’T OVERSHADOW light. Light will always be superior to any darkness. The darker the case, the more the glow in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

Stop CRYING as one without hope in God; for in that your DARKNESS – therein is God’s GLORY and BEAUTY of you in Christ Jesus. I pray that you will take on a new look and a leap of faith in life, that your onward and upward trajectory in Christ Jesus CAN’T BE STOPPED by any level of darkness, no matter the momentary lapses and delays in the now.  

HAVE FAITH IN GOD – and be BLESSED in God’s GRACE and BLESSEDNESS.

“For God, who commanded THE LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS, hath SHINED in our hearts, TO GIVE THE LIGHT of the knowledge of the GLORY of God in the FACE of Jesus Christ” 2 Corinthians 4:6. 

“We have also a MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a LIGHT THAT SHINETH IN A DARK PLACE, until the day dawn, and the DAY STAR arise in your hearts: 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” 2 Peter 1:19-21.

“STOP CRYING AS ONE WITHOUT HOPE, FAITH AND LOVE IN GOD: FOR IN YOUR DARK AND DARKNESS – THERE IS GOD’S GLORY AND BEAUTY! 

“Therefore we do not become DISCOURAGED [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid]. Though our OUTER self is [progressively] wasting away, yet our INNER self is being [progressively] RENEWED day by day. 17 For our MOMENTARY, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]! 18 So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Amplified.

SUMMARY 

This message is a prophetic encouragement and testimony to anyone walking through dark seasons. 
God does not abandon us in darkness — He brings LIGHT OUT OF DARKNESS for His glory and our BLESSEDNESS. 
What looks like hopelessness, pain, and delay is actually the place where God’s GLORY, BEAUTY, and RENEWAL are being produced in you. 
In Christ Jesus — the DAYSTAR in you — your trajectory is ONWARD and UPWARD, and no darkness can stop it.

GOD’S PATTERN: LIGHT OUT OF DARKNESS

  • Creation Pattern: God spoke light out of formless void and darkness. Genesis 1:1-5

THE REALITY OF THE DARK SEASON

This message knows what it feels like:: 
Tears, pain, disappointment, hopelessness, faithlessness, lovelessness, setbacks, feeling like there’s no tomorrow. 
Darkness shows up as MOUNTAIN, VALLEY, CROOKED ROAD, ROUGH PLACES — long-standing obstacles in life. 
But these MOMENTARY, LIGHT troubles are producing for us an eternal WEIGHT OF GLORY beyond measure. 2 Corinthians 4:17 

WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST

Because of Christ, you are NOT without hope. 
The DAYSTAR — Christ Jesus — lives in you. He WILL SHINE AGAIN in you and through you until others in darkness come to your light. 
The PATH OF THE JUST IS LIKE THE LIGHT OF DAWN, THAT SHINES BRIGHTER AND BRIGHTER until the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18 
Every valley shall be exalted, every mountain made low, the crooked made straight, and the rough places plain — and the GLORY of the Lord shall be revealed. Isaiah 40:3-5 

THE RESULT OF GOING THROUGH

Challenges are meant to make you BETTER than BITTER. 
God’s intent: to see you GLOW, REJUVENATE, REFRESH and BLOSSOM out of that dark place.

CALL TO ACTION 

  1. STOP CRYING AS ONE WITHOUT HOPE, FAITH AND LOVE IN GOD. 
    For in your dark and darkness — THERE IS GOD’S GLORY AND BEAUTY! 
  2. DON’T LOOK AT WHAT IS SEEN. 
    Look at what is unseen. What is visible is temporal. What is invisible is everlasting. 2 Corinthians 4:18 
  3. BE AT PEACE WITH YOURSELF TODAY. 
    Your onward and upward trajectory in Christ Jesus CAN’T BE STOPPED by any level of darkness, lapses, or delays. 
  4. TAKE ON A NEW LOOK AND A LEAP OF FAITH. 
    Let the Daystar (Christ Jesus) arise in your heart. 2 Peter 1:19 
  5. HAVE FAITH IN GOD — and be BLESSED in God’s GRACE and BLESSEDNESS. 
    Hope thou in God, for you shall yet praise Him. Psalms 42:11

BEING JUSTIFIED BY FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS: THERE’S NOW – NO MORE CONDEMNATION – IN CHRIST JESUS! 

“But God, who is RICH in MERCY, for his great LOVE wherewith He LOVED US, 5 even when we were dead in sins, hath QUICKENED US together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 and hath RAISED US up together, and MADE US sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 that in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness TOWARD US through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast” Ephesians 2:4-9. 

What a freedom! What an awesome, gracious and graceful life to live now and always – on an ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead – To receive the heavenly pardon of God by: being loved, forgiven, discharged and acquitted, received and made blameless and guiltless. And then QUALIFIED to access His presence and share in His BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

“It was for this FREEDOM that Christ set us free [completely LIBERATING us]; therefore keep STANDING FIRM and do not be SUBJECT again to a YOKE of slavery [which you once removed]” Galatians 5:2/Amplified. 

What men can’t offer and do, God HAS offered and given to us without conditionalities, prejudice, sentiments and dissimulation – by saying to us for NOW, today and tomorrow that – THERE’S NO MORE CONDEMNATION! – FOR YOU’VE BEING JUSTIFIED BY FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS!! And that settles it all to live with hope, faith and love. Amen. 

You ARE loved, washed, forgiven, predestined, called, LOOSED, freed, redeemed, qualified, delivered, translated, conveyed, known, accepted, glorified, crowned a royal priesthood, a holy nation, chosen, peculiar, a special breed, righteous, [Revelation 1:5-6, Colossians 1:12-14/NKJV; Romans 8:28-30; 1 Peter 2:9-10; Ephesians 15-12; Galatians 3:13-14, 26-29] and many such like – and it is IRRESPECTIVE OF ANYTHING ELSE.  

Therefore, shout yourself to: 

GLORY! 

HALLELUJAH! 

AMEN!!! 

MAY OUR GOD BE FOREVER PRAISEED IN YOU. AND MAY THE ETERNAL BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST THAT JUSTIFIED US AND FREED US, SPEAK FOR YOU TODAY, TOMORROW AND FOR ALL ETERNITY. 

Now head up, shoulders high and on the high heels of your faith, to live in the grace wherein God has set you to walk upon in Christ Jesus’ stead – and it is irrespective of, and without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation. NO MORE CONDEMNATION in Christ Jesus. Amen.

“Therefore THERE IS NOW NO CONDEMNATION [NO GUILTY VERDICT, NO PUNISHMENT] for those who ARE in Christ Jesus [who BELIEVE in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. 2 For THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE [which is] in Christ Jesus [THE LAW OF OUR NEW BEING] has set you free from THE LAW OF SIN AND OF DEATH” Romans 8:1-2/AMP. 

“Therefore, since we have been JUSTIFIED [that is, ACQUITTED of sin, DECLARED BLAMELESS before God] BY FAITH, [let us grasp the fact that] we have PEACE with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). 2 Through Him we also have ACCESS BY FAITH into this [remarkable state of] grace in which we [firmly and safely and securely] STAND. “Giving thanks to the Father, who has QUALIFIED US to share in the inheritance of the saints (God’s people) in the Light. For He has RESCUED US and has DRAWN US to Himself FROM THE DOMINION OF DARKNESS, and has TRANSFERRED us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption [because of His sacrifice, resulting in] the FORGIVENESS of our sins [and the cancellation of sins’ penalty]” Colossians 1:12-14/AMP. 

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that LOVED US, and WASHED US from our sins in His own blood, 6 and hath MADE US kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. This message is a declaration of liberty for every Believer. Because of Christ’s blood and God’s rich mercy, we have been JUSTIFIED, FREED, and QUALIFIED. 
Therefore we are to STOP LIVING UNDER CONDEMNATION, FEAR, OR MAN’S APPROVAL and instead WALK IN THE GRACE, FREEDOM, AND BLESSEDNESS that God has already given us in Christ Jesus — ONWARD and UPWARD.

THE RESULT

We now RECEIVE THE HEAVENLY PARDON OF GOD: loved, forgiven, discharged, acquitted, received, made blameless and guiltless. 
We are QUALIFIED to access His presence and share in His BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

CALL TO ACTION 

  1. STAND FIRM IN FREEDOM. Do not go back under a yoke of slavery, guilt, or condemnation. Galatians 5:1 
  2. HEAD UP, SHOULDERS HIGH. Put on the high heels of your faith and walk in the grace God set you in. 
  3. SHOUT IT OUT: GLORY! HALLELUJAH! AMEN!!! Let the reality of “NO CONDEMNATION” settle in your heart. 
  4. LIVE IN HOPE, FAITH AND LOVE. That is what justification settles for you. 
  5. LET THE BLOOD SPEAK. May the eternal blood of Jesus that justified and freed us speak for you TODAY, TOMORROW AND FOR ALL ETERNITY.

GOD IS ABLE AND FAITHFUL

GOD IS ABLE AND FAITHFUL: DON’T SETTLE FOR LESS! 

“But ye are a CHOSEN generation, a ROYAL priesthood, an HOLY nation, a PECULIAR people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath CALLED you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10 which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have OBTAINED mercy” 1 Peter 2:9-10. 

The last time I checked with God about you in the Scriptures, He said that your WORTH in Him is GRACIOUS and PRICELESS. So, don’t let your present turbulence or circumstances MAKE you SETTLE FOR LESS than your WORTH in Christ Jesus. And in the same scenario, don’t disvalue and undermine your worth by the grace before our God in the name of humility, which is actually ignorance, foolishness and stupidity to the context of His word on the scriptures concerning our redemption in Christ Jesus. And do not even submit before man nor satanic influences, because your true worth and definition is not in men or Satan and his cohorts. Know for certainty that YOU ARE OF GOD AND ABOVE ONLY. You ARE CHOSEN, you ARE ROYAL, you ARE HOLY, you ARE PECULIAR, you ARE CALLED, and you have RECEIVED and OBTAINED mercy in the grace wherein you stand before God – without GUILT, unashamed and without complex, and without insecurity and without anchor, wrath and doubt of any form, and without fear of any kind standing before the Creator God in Christ Jesus. A place of no sentiment, prejudice and dissimulation. 

“I desire therefore that in every place men should pray, WITHOUT anger or quarreling or resentment or doubt [in their minds], lifting up holy hands” 1 Timothy 2:8/Amplified Classic Edition. 

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control” 2 Timothy 1:7/Amplified Classic Edition. 

You ARE of God, and His DESIGN and SHOWCASE to the world, for you ARE wonderfully and fearfully created – that is, reverently made. You ARE God’s workmanship. You ARE of God’s cornerstone, fashioned and polished in the similitude of His palatial palace of GRACIOUSNESSS, GRACEFULNESS, FAITHFULNESS and BLESSEDNESS. The world by its makeup may discredit you, which is okay, for they qualify and quantify you as you ARE not of them – for YOU ARE of God. This is the hallmark of living a purpose-driven life that brings about meaningful fulfilment in the grace. And your stand in the grace gives you access to Father God and to enjoy the justified life in Christ Jesus. 

“YE ARE OF GOD, little children, and have OVERCOME them: because GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU, THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 WE ARE OF GOD: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error” 1 John 4:4-6. 

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED by faith, we have PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also we have ACCESS by faith into this GRACE wherein we STAND and REJOICE in hope of the glory of God” Romans 5:1-2. 

Your REDEMPTION is PRICELESS – don’t demean your WORTH for the LESS. Know full well, there IS an answer to your prayers, for God IS able and faithful to meet with you at the point of your need. God is NEVER late when you ARE patient – He’s always on time – Hebrews 10:23, 35-39. He lives in a TIMELESS realm of possibility, not on our 24hrs Gregorian timed Calendar. Hence FAITH – which is the necessary tool of the timeless realm in Him – is of paramount importance to ENGAGE with God – 1 John 5:4-5; Hebrews 11:6; Habakkuk 2:4. And surely and assuredly, God WILL meet you at that point in the realm of possibility. Mark 9:23; Mark 10:27 and Matthew 19:26. 

Dust yourself off right now, head up and raise your shoulders high, and put on your high heels of redemption rights and privileges in Christ Jesus. Then arise in grace and look unto the HILLS from whence comes the ANSWER – and not the QUESTIONS – as you step into your day. It’s your time to shine. Go forth and shine, for your light has come and God’s PRICELESS glory is upon you. 

Be Blessed – Meaning: Be Empowered in grace To Succeed, Thrive, Colour and be meaningfully Fulfilled. 

YOU ARE WORTH THE LIVING – THE BEST OF GOD – DON’T SETTLE FOR LESS.

In a world and even in some Churches where people are tempted to SETTLE FOR LESS — less value, less faith, less of God — God is saying: You are PRICELESS, CHOSEN, and CALLED. Don’t trade that for turbulence, people’s opinions, or satanic pressure.

YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST IS ROYAL AND SECURE

  • YOU ARE: CHOSEN, ROYAL, HOLY, PECULIAR, CALLED, OF GOD AND ABOVE ONLY 1 Peter 2:9-10

GOD IS ABLE, FAITHFUL, AND ON TIME

  • There IS an answer to your prayers. God WILL meet you at the point of your need. Mark 9:23, Mark 10:27, Matthew 19:26
  • FAITH is the necessary tool to engage this timeless realm. 1 John 5:4-5, Hebrews 11:6, Habakkuk 2:4

WALK IN THE SPIRIT, NOT FEAR

  2. Arise in grace. Look to the HILLS from whence comes the ANSWER, not the questions. Psalm 121:1 
  3. Engage God with FAITH. Refuse doubt, fear, and settling. Trust His timeless timing. 
  4. Shine. “It’s your time to shine. Go forth and shine, for your light has come and God’s PRICELESS glory is upon you.” 
  5. Be Blessed = Be Empowered in grace To Succeed, Thrive, Colour and be meaningfully Fulfilled.

“HOLDING the MYSTERY OF THE FAITH in a PURE conscience” 1 Timothy 3:9. 

FAITH is not a DOCTRINE or CREED or BYE-LAWS and such like and has NONE in it. It is SPIRITUAL, LEGAL and VITAL to our Christian walk transactions; and it is imperative and important in helping us become that which God intended us to be. Faith is of God and the only scriptural possible means to PLEASE God. It is a product of the Spirit and it is synergised by the Word of God (John 6:63; Romans 10:17; Hebrews 11). FAITH comes at the hearing and Faith goes away at No continuous hearing of the WORD of God – meaning FAITH realisation and actualisation is dependent on the CONTINUOUS response to the WORD of God (Romans 10:17; John 8:30-32; Acts 20:32; 2 Timothy 2:15; 2 Timothy 3:14-17). 

Currently in the World, the DE FACTO tender for exchange is the US Dollar. 

If one transacts business outside another nation’s acceptable legal tender — say Dollars ‘$’ for the USA or Pound Sterling ‘£’ for the United Kingdom and such like — your action will warrant counterfeit trafficking, and an arrest will take place no matter who you are. 

In the same scenario, there is NO single being that has walked on the face of the earth with meaningful and achievable kingdom results that has nothing to show from a life of FAITH — for it is the ONLY legal and vital tender between the Heavenly and the Earthly, in all LIFE and GODLY LIVING business affairs. 

Hence there is the NEED to WALK IN FAITH and, most importantly, CONTEND in Life FOR THE FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS. AMEN. 

The reason is because Faith is the VICTORY by which life warfare can be dealt with and overcome at every level of life in the world and in EARTHLY affairs. 

 (1 John 5:4-5; Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Jude 1:3-4; 1 Peter 5:8-11). 

Faith is bringing the unseen to the seen [ 2 Corinthians 4:13, 18]. 
God deals with all according to: ‘THE’ measure of Faith and not by ‘A’ measure of faith. 
That makes the vehicle ‘FAITH’ SPIRITUAL, VITAL and LEGAL TENDER to all of life’s endeavours, kingdom business advancement, and in keeping the enemy and his cohorts at bay. 

Therefore, keep your walk of FAITH alive and STEADY in all LIFE and GODLY LIVING ramifications. 
All things are POSSIBLE unto them whose FAITH IS ACTING on whom and what they BELIEVE of God in His WORD by the Holy Spirit. AMEN — Mark 9:23; Mark 10:27 and Matthew 19:26

COLOUR YOUR LIFE IN BEAUTY WITH SPIRITUAL FRUIT: YOUR CHARACTER ENSURES AND ASSURES YOUR CHARISMA AND CHARISMATIC ENDOWMENT IN GRACE! 

“But the FRUIT of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, 23 Meekness, Temperance: AGAINST such there is no law” Galatians 5:22-23.  

CHARISMA could be defined as the ability to attract, charm, and influence the people around you for a given cause – Plans, Purposes and Pursuits. CHARISMA is often said to be a mysterious, ineffable quality; you either have it, or you don’t.  

The term charisma (/kəˈrɪzmə/; pl. charismata, adj. charismatic) has two senses: 

  1. COMPELLING ATTRACTIVENESS or charm that can inspire devotion in others;  
  2. A DIVINELY CONFERRED power or talent to make you be what you want to be in LIFE and GODLINESS. 

“And the WORK of righteousness shall be peace; and the EFFECT of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever” Isaiah 32:17.  

It must be noted that the sustainability of your CHARISMA or CHARISMATIC life endowment is by the CHARACTER you exhibit in and through it. Otherwise, it becomes a CARICATURE, COUNTERFEIT, FAKE, MAN-MADE and SELF-GRATIFICATION in every respect of manifestation and operation. 

CHARACTER – THE RESILIENT TEMPER – is defined and applied as the aggregate of moral qualities by which a person is examined and judged, apart from intelligence, competence, or special talents. Strength of character personality applies to an aggregate of qualities that distinguish one as a person mentally and morally. 

And for the BELIEVER in Christ, our CHARISMATIC ENDOWMENT or CHARISMA for doing life and living godly – which is a result of SPIRITUAL GIFTS (endowment) combined with TALENTS – is sustained in grace and in life by the SPIRITUAL FRUIT (CHARACTER) of the Holy Spirit that is GIVEN to us. Romans 5:5. This SPIRITUAL FRUIT that formulates one’s character to uphold the integrity and etiquette of one’s charisma or charismatic endowment includes, but is not limited to: Galatians 5:22-23 and 2 Peter 1:5-11 and Philippians 4:8 and Romans 12:9-21 etc. 

  • Love (Charitable) 
  • Joy 
  • Peace 
  • Longsuffering (Endurance) 
  • Gentleness 
  • Goodness (Virtue) 
  • Faith (Faithfulness) 
  • Meekness 
  • Temperance (Self Control) 
  • Patience 
  • Brotherly Kindness 
  • Godliness 
  • Honesty 
  • Purity 
  • . . . And such like – faithfulness, truth, reverential fear of God and more highlights in various places in the scriptures . . .  

If these things – SPIRITUAL FRUIT (CHARACTER) – abound more and more, one will be able to live and sustain in grace one’s CHARISMA placements in life, without making excuses or explaining reasons to anyone, just as Jesus did in humanity – 1 Peter 2:21-25. 

You are the CUSTODIAN of your happiness. Make your CHARISMA sustainable with an unquestionable CHARACTER. CHARISMA is good and great and it takes you to heights in any field and endeavour in life when in operation. It helps to evolve your uniqueness in life from others. But only your CHARACTER makes and keeps you in your THERE after all. 

Your CHARACTER – is the sustainability of your CHARISMA and CHARISMATIC endowment.

  • CHARISMA may take you UP, but only CHARACTER keeps you THERE.

  • The Fruit of the Spirit produces a life that is above reproach Galatians 5:22-23 
  • Diligence in adding virtue ensures you are not barren or unfruitful 2 Peter 1:5-11 
  • Think on these things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely Philippians 4:8 
  • Righteousness produces peace, quietness and assurance Isaiah 32:17 
  1. CALL TO ACTION
  • COLOUR YOUR LIFE IN BEAUTY by intentionally cultivating the FRUIT of the Spirit daily. 
  • Examine your charisma through the lens of character. Is it Spirit-led or self-made? 
  • Abound in spiritual fruit. Give all diligence to add virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity. 
  • Guard your endowment. Don’t let gifts operate without the fruit to back them. Character must lead to charisma.
    Further Study: Romans 12:1-20 — Present your body a living sacrifice and be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

FINAL WORD:
God gave you charisma to influence, but He gave you the Holy Spirit to produce fruit that will sustain that influence. Let your life be beautiful, not just attractive.

ASSURED HOPE – MISSION GO

ASSURED HOPE – MISSION GO: THE APOSTOLIC MISSIONARY MANDATE! 

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All AUTHORITY has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 GO therefore and MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL THE NATIONS, BAPTIZING them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 TEACHING them to OBSERVE all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, EVEN TO THE END OF THE AGE” Amen” Matthew 28:18-20. 

The kingdom mandate and assignment is MISSION GO – it’s to GO to the ends of the earth with the Gospel, the good news of what Jesus has done for human redemption, thereby reconciling them to God by the commission WORD of reconciliation [2 Corinthians 5:17-21]. The Gospel is about reconciliation – the reconciling of men from their depraved state to the glorious redemption deed in Christ Jesus stead. The MISSION GO is built upon and about the ASSURED HOPE in the grace of the commission – signaling that: “HE WILL BE WITH US ALWAYS, UNTO THE ENDS OF THE AGE”. What an extraordinary hope to bank upon, being assured, while in obedience to the Mission Go in the grace, in Christ Jesus stead. 

“And this GOSPEL of the kingdom will be PREACHED in all the world as a WITNESS to all the NATIONS, and then the end will come” Matthew 24:14/NKJV. 

“But you shall RECEIVE power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be WITNESSES to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and TO THE END OF THE EARTH” Acts 1:8/NKJV. 

It’s the knowing and understanding that the cost of a soul it’s not measured by the things accumulated and owned [Psalms 49:6-9] but by the souls being saved, by the souls being restored from backsliding and by ensuring the growing of the lambs to sheep and by enhancing sheep to make more lambs. [Luke 15:1-32; John 21:15-17]. 

There’s NO ROOM for making just converts or members for applause but the making of DISCIPLES only, that go making other disciples in the grace, unto the ends of the earth in Christ Jesus’ stead. For it’s mission go, to seek and save that which is lost and reconcile back to the Father God in Christ Jesus stead. 

“For the Son of Man has come to SEEK and to SAVE that which was lost” Luke 19:10/NKJV 

The commissioned mission of the Church, which you are, as the Church – for the Church it’s not the architectural building or structure but you -, is MISSION . . . MISSION unto the ends of the earth: Soul Salvation, Backsliding Restoration and Growing the Church, in the grace in Christ Jesus stead.  

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“And He said to them, “GO into all the world and PREACH THE GOSPEL to every creature. 16 He who BELIEVES and is BAPTIZED will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these SIGNS will follow those who BELIEVE: In My NAME they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” 19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they WENT OUT and PREACHED EVERYWHERE, the Lord working with them and CONFIRMING THE WORD through the ACCOMPANYING SIGNS. “How I kept back nothing that was helpful [profitable], but PROCLAIMED it to you, and taught you PUBLICLY and from HOUSE to HOUSE, 21 TESTIFYING to Jews, and also to Greeks, REPENTANCE toward God and FAITH toward our Lord Jesus Christ” Acts 20:20-21. 

“For I am NOT ASHAMED of THE GOSPEL of Christ, for it is the POWER of God to SALVATION for EVERYONE who BELIEVES, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God is REVEALED from faith to faith; as it is written, “The JUST [RIGHTEOUS] shall LIVE by faith” Romans 1:16-17/NKJV. 

SUMMARY 

This message is a bold commissioning charge titled: ASSURED HOPE – MISSION GO: THE APOSTOLIC MISSIONARY MANDATE! 

It calls the Church — which is YOU — to arise in obedience to the Great Commission with the confidence that Christ’s presence and authority go with us to the ends of the earth. 

  1. THE MANDATE: AUTHORITY + ASSIGNMENT + ASSURANCE

  • EMPOWERED WITNESSES: “But you shall RECEIVE power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be WITNESSES to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and TO THE END OF THE EARTH” Acts 1:8/NKJV. 
  • SIGNS FOLLOW: The Lord works with us, CONFIRMING THE WORD through ACCOMPANYING SIGNS [Mark 16:15-20]. 
  1. THE VALUE SYSTEM OF THE MISSION

The cost of a soul is not measured by things accumulated and owned [Psalm 49:6-9] but by:

The Church is not a building — YOU ARE THE CHURCH. 
Therefore, the commissioned mission of the Church is: 
MISSION . . . MISSION unto the ends of the earth: 
Soul Salvation, Backsliding Restoration and Growing the Church in the grace in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

Our lifestyle of mission: 

  • PROCLAIM PUBLICLY and from HOUSE to HOUSE, testifying REPENTANCE toward God and FAITH toward our Lord Jesus Christ [Acts 20:20-21] 
  • NOT ASHAMED of THE GOSPEL, for it is the POWER of God to SALVATION for everyone who believes [Romans 1:16-17/NKJV] 

CALL TO ACTION 

Dear friend, the command is clear: GO. 

  1. RECEIVE THE AUTHORITY: Jesus has ALL authority. You go in His name, not your strength. 
  2. EMBRACE THE ASSURANCE: He said “I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS”. You are not alone on this mission. 
  3. OBEY THE ASSIGNMENT: 
    GO – Step out. Talk to someone this week about Jesus. 
    MAKE DISCIPLES – Don’t just win people, walk with them. Baptize and Teach them to observe all He commanded. 
    PREACH THE GOSPEL – To every creature. Publicly and from house to house. 
    VALUE WHAT GOD VALUES: Stop counting applause, members, or things. Start counting souls saved, restored, and discipled. 
    LIVE THE GOSPEL: Be unashamed. Let the Gospel be the power of God through your life for salvation. 

Rise up Church! The fields are white. The Spirit is with us. The authority is given. The time is now. 
MISSION GO — unto the ends of the earth, until every nation has heard.

TAKING THE STOCK OF YOUR LIFE ON GOD’S WORD BY LOVE: AND LOVING TO DO GOD’S WORD BY LOVE AND NOT AS A BURDEN – THAT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN LIFE AND GRACE! 

“By this we know that we LOVE the children of God, when we LOVE God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the LOVE of God, that we KEEP His COMMANDMENTS. And His commandments are not BURDENSOME (GRIEVOUS, IRKSOME, TASKMASTER, TROUBLESOME, HARD, DIFFICULT) 1 John 5:2-3/Emphasis Mine. 

Do you always take stock on your obedience to God’s WORD? Do you DO God’s WORD in LOVE? If Yes -that’s GREAT and COMMENDABLE. But here’s the essence of the questions: To LOVE doing and to keep DOING God’s WORD of command in LOVE is the hallmark of doing the WORD effectually, efficiently, effortlessly, selflessly, and without sweat or guilt. More so, when we remember this principle: God’s WORD is not GRIEVOUS, IRKSOME, BURDENSOME, A TASKMASTER, TROUBLESOME, HARD or DIFFICULT to practice – when we approach it with a spirited and heartfelt act of LOVE. I can boldly say to you today: DOING God’s WORD in LOVE makes all the difference in LIFE and GODLY LIVING. 

It must be noted that God is not a taskmaster. Hence, His COMMANDS are not an ADVICE – they are genuine, faithful, true, sure, real and empowering. He will always COMMEND what He COMMANDS when it is obediently taken and done in LOVE. And God’s intent is always for our good – to help us and to give us leverage in our godly living and in doing life in all circumstances. And when we are LOVING by God’s WORD, life becomes liveable, loveable, reachable, and enjoyable in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

“For I know the PLANS and THOUGHTS that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘PLANS for PEACE and WELL-BEING and NOT FOR DISASTER, to give you a FUTURE and a HOPE. 12 Then you will CALL on Me and you will come and PRAY to Me, and I will HEAR [your voice] and I will LISTEN to you” Jeremiah 29:11-12 Amplified. 

A WILLING and OBEDIENT heart of LOVE toward God’s WORD, is all it takes to eat the good of the Kingdom. This is very possible: 

  • When LOVE and LOVING is not done with a DUTY heart – as if God is a TASKMASTER. 
  • When you KNOW that God has not TASKED you or MASTERED you in LOVE to tempt you with an obligation, He knows is impossible for you and anyone to do. 
  • When you understand that God is not out to see you FAIL in LOVE, just so He punish you to satisfy Himself well and good. 

Therefore, taking STOCK on God’s WORD in LOVE, and LOVING to DO God’s WORD in LOVE – should not be seen as a BURDEN. It is God’s avenue of grace for your good. Because it is in the DOING, in LOVE, that MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE for an EFFECTUAL and EFFICIENT walk with God in doing LIFE and living GODLY in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

If God demands your FINANCE, TIME, TALENT/SKILL, and whatever He requires of you for His Kingdom cause – and to keep the enemy at bay – it is WORTH doing it in LOVE for God and His work on earth, rather than doing it as an obligation and duty in fear. Even in matters of NECESSITY, as Apostle Paul would say concerning the call of God upon His life – still do it in love and not in fear of bondage. For PERFECT LOVE casts out FEAR and PHOBIAS. Let God’s LOVE rule and reign supreme in your world, as it is in His world. 

“Beloved, let us [unselfishly] LOVE and seek the best for one another, for LOVE is from God; and everyone who LOVES [others] is BORN of God and KNOWS God [through personal experience]. 8 The one who DOES NOT LOVE has not become ACQUAINTED with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is LOVE. [He is the ORIGINATOR of love, and it is an enduring attribute of His nature.] . . . 17 In this [union and fellowship with Him], LOVE is completed and perfected with us, so that we may have CONFIDENCE in the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him]; because as He is, so ARE WE in this world. 18 There is NO FEAR IN LOVE [dread does not exist]. But PERFECT (complete, full-grown) LOVE DRIVES OUT FEAR, because FEAR involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love]” 1 John 4:7-8, 17-18 Amplified. 

“For though I PREACH the gospel, I have NOTHING to glory of: for NECESSITY is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I PREACH not the gospel! 17 For if I DO this thing WILLINGLY, I have a REWARD: but if AGAINST my will, a DISPENSATION of the GOSPEL is committed unto me” 1 Corinthians 9:16-17. 

I PRAY that as you take STOCK in doing life and living godly, may you do it by God’s WORD, in LOVE; and may you maintain consistency in this realm and sphere by LOVE, and keep DOING God’s WORD by LOVE – and not as a BURDEN – while making ALL THE DIFFERENCE. Amen.

“If ye be WILLING and OBEDIENT, ye shall eat the good of the land” Isaiah 1:19. 

“There hath no TEMPTATION taken you but such as is common to man: but God is FAITHFUL, who will not SUFFER (ALLOW) you to be TEMPTED above that ye are able; but will with the TEMPTATION also MAKE A WAY TO ESCAPE, that ye may be ABLE to bear it” 1 Corinthians 10:13 (Emphasis Mine). 

“Let no man SAY when he is TEMPTED, I am TEMPTED of God: for God CANNOT be TEMPTED with evil, neither TEMPTETH he any man: 14 but every man is TEMPTED, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed” James 1:13-14. 

“Some indeed PREACH Christ even of ENVY and STRIFE; and some also of GOOD WILL: 16 the one PREACH Christ of CONTENTION, not SINCERELY, supposing to add AFFLICTION to my bonds: 17 but the other of LOVE, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. 18 What then? “LOVE has been PERFECTED among us in this: that we may have BOLDNESS in the day of judgment; BECAUSE AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. 18 There is NO FEAR IN LOVE; but PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR, because FEAR involves TORMENT. But he who FEARS has not been MADE PERFECT IN LOVE” 1 John 4:17-18. 

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because THE LOVE of God is SHED abroad in our HEARTS by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us . . .But God COMMENDETH HIS LOVE toward us, in that, while we were YET SINNERS, Christ DIED for us” Romans 5:5, 8.

The message is a prophetic, pastoral call to obedience driven by LOVE, not duty, fear, or burden.  

Here are the core pillars: 

  1. THE CENTRAL THESIS: LOVE MAKES OBEDIENCE LIGHT

Main Point: DOING God’s WORD in LOVE is what makes the Christian life effectual, efficient, effortless, and guilt-free. 
God’s commands are NOT a BURDEN. They are not GRIEVOUS, IRKSOME, or a TASKMASTER. 
1 John 5:2-3 — “His commandments are not BURDENSOME” 
When we obey from a spirited, heartfelt place of LOVE, it makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE in LIFE and GODLY LIVING. 

  1. GOD’S NATURE & INTENT: NOT A TASKMASTER

Truth: God is NOT out to see you fail so He can punish you.

  1. THE CONDITION FOR KINGDOM BLESSING: WILLING + OBEDIENT HEART

Key: Isaiah 1:19 — “If ye be WILLING and OBEDIENT, ye shall eat the good of the land.” 
A WILLING and OBEDIENT heart of LOVE toward God’s WORD is all it takes to access Kingdom goodness. 
This is very possible. But LOVE must NOT be done with a DUTY heart, as if God is a taskmaster. 

  1. LOVE VS FEAR, DUTY VS BONDAGE

Warning: Don’t serve God out of fear, obligation, or bondage. 

  • PERFECT LOVE casts out FEAR and PHOBIAS. 1 John 4:18 
  • There is NO FEAR IN LOVE. Fear involves torment and expectation of punishment. 
  • Even in matters of NECESSITY, like Apostle Paul’s call 1 Cor 9:16-17, do it WILLINGLY in LOVE for the REWARD, not against your will. 
  • Whether giving FINANCE, TIME, TALENT/SKILL, or anything for Kingdom cause — do it in LOVE for God, not duty in fear. 
    Let God’s LOVE rule and reign in your world as it does in His. 
  1. THE EVIDENCE OF LOVE: OBEDIENCE + RELATIONSHIP

Proof: 1 John 5:2 — “By this we know that we LOVE the children of God, when we LOVE God and keep His commandments.” 
1 John 4:7-8 — “God is LOVE. He who does not love does not know God.” 
Love is not just emotion. Love is DOING God’s Word. 
1 Cor 13:1-3 — Without LOVE, gifts, sacrifice, and ministry profit NOTHING. 

  1. GOD’S FAITHFULNESS IN THE PROCESS

Encouragement: 

  • Jeremiah 29:11-12 — God’s plans for you are for PEACE, WELLBEING, FUTURE and HOPE. He hears when you pray. 
  • 1 Cor 10:13 — God is FAITHFUL. He will not allow temptation beyond what you can bear, and He will make a WAY OF ESCAPE. 
  • Romans 5:5,8 — God’s LOVE is SHED abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. He COMMENDED His love to us while we were yet sinners. 
    The Holy Spirit perfects love in us so we can have BOLDNESS and CONFIDENCE 1 John 4:17. 
  1. THE PRAYER & CALL TO ACTION

Prayer: That we take STOCK in doing life and living godly by God’s WORD IN LOVE. 
That we maintain consistency in the realm of LOVE, keep DOING God’s WORD by LOVE — not as a BURDEN — and it will MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE.
