FORE-Telling And FORTH-Telling: The Difference As To The OLD And NEW TESTAMENT – PROPHETS And PROPHECY! 

Don’t be deceived and mistaken again by anyone — because YOU ARE your own PROPHET. 

Meaning therefore, that you can EXAMINE, that is, JUDGE the spirit before you AFFIRM any PROPHECY blindly — for the Holy Spirit of God LIVES in you to ASCERTAIN the TRUTH that assures, ensures, and sets one FREE. 

FEAR NOT THEREFORE ANYMORE! 

“Let the PROPHETS speak two or three, and let the other JUDGE (EXAMINE)” 1 Corinthians 14:29 (Emphasis Mine). 

For a while now, the majority of innocent Christians have ended up in more bondage in their curiosity to obtain miracles or blessings from SO CALLED PROPHETS, who unknowingly are more like FORTUNE TELLERS operating by SPELLS. 

I have used the word “SO CALLED PROPHETS” because such are not genuine in respect to the genuine PROPHETS of God, by the obvious unscriptural acts and vices they have exposed people to in their vulnerability. 

For God’s GENUINE PROPHET is CALLED and SENT FORTH as a MESSENGER with His message, which does not take advantage of people’s vulnerability. 

Firstly, the Scriptures accredit the essence of the PROPHET and PROPHETIC Ministry in both the OLD and NEW Testaments — Ephesians 4:11-16. 
Unfortunately, their acts of OPERATIONS, ADMINISTRATIONS, and MANIFESTATIONS are not the same. They are contrary across both TESTAMENTS — 1 Corinthians 12:4-7. And unfortunately, many are exerting and exercising the intents of the OLD TESTAMENT in the NEW TESTAMENT. 

In the OLD TESTAMENT there were three classes of LEADERSHIP: 

The KING — To oversee, protect, and defend in civic governance of the people. 

The PRIEST — To minister to God on behalf of the people. 

The PROPHET — To HEAR and RECEIVE the WORD from Father God for the people. 

And more importantly, none of them, or the people of that TESTAMENT assigned to LEAD, were BORN AGAIN, BAPTISED, AND FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT living within, in order to authenticate the WORD of God as it is today — John 3:3-8, 16-18. 

For the Holy Spirit came UPON these three sects as and when needed to accomplish the purposes in their jurisdiction of obligation under God. He came UPON them ONLY. He did not LIVE in them. 

And the PROPHET, as per this context, in the OLD TESTAMENT was to HEAR the WORD from God by the Holy Spirit that came UPON them ONLY to minister to God’s people. Hence the purposeful function was to FORETELL — FORE-TELLING — in ministerial UTTERANCES. 

And to FORETELL, which is a verb, means to predict as instructed; to tell the future as instructed before it occurs, and to prophesy about God’s intended plan in solving the immediate or future purpose of God to His people. 

And in each case God did not leave His people in limbo, but gave direction for their journey to fulfil His intended RIGHTEOUS plan and purpose. 

And God did all the intended doings in the OLD TESTAMENT as a process of carrying out His PLAN, PURPOSE, and PURSUIT towards human REDEMPTION, which was to be fulfilled in Christ Jesus — Luke 24:44-45; John 1:45; Galatians 3:23-25. 

NOW WE HAVE CHRIST JESUS, THE RESULT AND THE CONSEQUENCE OF THE NEW TESTAMENT. 

The NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET, unlike the OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET, differs in many respects. Firstly, REDEMPTION has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus for humanity. 

And the people of God today are born of God in grace within, baptised and filled with the indwelling Holy Spirit to guide and guard the respective individual and collective body; and are also given the right to access God unhindered individually and collectively, with no need for a bypass through any person or persons. 

And by the indwelling Holy Spirit through God’s WORD, one CAN make JUDGEMENT on any form of PROPHECY or PROPHETIC UTTERANCES of any SORT, to ascertain if it is of God or not. 

It thus means that the NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET is ONLY in a position to SPEAK FORTH, that is, to FORTH TELL — FORTH-TELLING — in ministerial UTTERANCES. 

And to FORTH TELL is a verb, and it is to tell forth; that is, to publish abroad, make known, spread, shout out, and broadcast the GOSPEL — the Good News of that which has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus on our behalf in REDEMPTION — which result is EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION, and COMFORT — 1 Corinthians 14:3-4. Wherein there is no fear, threat, complex, or unnecessary sentiment used to appeal to anyone at all. 

And since we live in the sphere and realm of the Holy Spirit to REVEAL and AUTHENTICATE God’s PLAN, PURPOSE, and PROMISE in Christ Jesus in us by the WORD, we need no such ACTS of the OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET — 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. 

Genuine PROPHETIC PROPHECY of God will point one to JESUS and not to self, ego, and personality — Revelation 19:10. 

And anyone who claims to have a PROPHETIC PROPHECY and does not submit it to be EXAMINED indicates error, ignorance, pride, rudeness, and self-egoism, and such like — Acts 17:10-13; 1 Corinthians 14:29. 

Every PROPHECY must be EXAMINED in the LIGHT of God’s WORD — Isaiah 8:16, 19-20; 2 Peter 1:19-21. 

It is unfortunate that some sects of ministers have assumed to become PROPHET or to have a PROPHETIC message — whom I call ‘SO CALLED PROPHETS’. They go about taking advantage of God’s precious people in their ignorance of not being ardent searchers of the SCRIPTURES as BEREAN Christians — Acts 17:10-13, and are exerting and exercising OLD TESTAMENT prophetic ministerial acts on NEW TESTAMENT Believers in Christ Jesus, which is absurd. 

These dubious acts being practised are unbiblical and unscriptural, and they result in FORTUNE TELLING — FORTUNE-TELLING/TELLER. This is the act of a person who is supposedly able to predict a person’s future by palmistry, using a crystal ball, or similar methods such as sorcery, spells, witchcraft, and the like — Acts 8:1-25; Acts 19:8-20. 

This is FRAUD and FALSEHOOD. And many who do not care to READ, KNOW, and UNDERSTAND God’s WORD by the Holy Spirit have become victims, and are lured into such bondages with all forms of fear and phobias in order to consent to these sentiments. 

Dear Believers in Christ, you have the right in Christ Jesus to make JUDGEMENT — to EXAMINE — without being judgemental, on any prophecy no matter who SPEAKS or is SPEAKING — Acts 17:10-13, before you commit your life to it. Otherwise, the consequential error is yours and not God’s, for God is not the AUTHOR of CONFUSION — 1 Corinthians 14:26-33; Matthew 22:29.  

THERE’S NO ROOM FOR THE SPIRIT OF FEAR, THREAT, INTIMIDATION AND TORMENT ON GOD’S PEOPLE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT PROPHETIC MINISTRY. 

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, BUT RATHER THAT YE MAY PROPHESY. 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 3 But he that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT . . . 26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. 27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. 29 LET THE PROPHETS SPEAK TWO OR THREE, AND LET THE OTHER JUDGE (EXAMINE). 30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. 31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the AUTHOR OF CONFUSION, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints . . .” 1 Corinthians 14:1-40 (Emphasis Mine). 

“Wherefore I put thee in REMEMBRANCE that thou STIR UP THE GIFT OF GOD, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. 7 For God hath not given us THE SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” 2 Timothy 1:6-7 

“Herein is our LOVE MADE PERFECT (COMPLETE, MATURE, WHOLE), that we may have boldness in the DAY OF JUDGMENT (PREDICAMENT, CHALLENGES, QUESTIONING): because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no FEAR IN LOVE; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:17-18 (Emphasis Mine). 

“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY, WHETHER THOSE THINGS WERE SO. 12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few. 13 But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people” Acts 17:10-13. 

“To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they SPEAK NOT ACCORDING TO THIS WORD, it is because there is NO LIGHT IN THEM” Isaiah 8:20. 

“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY” Revelation 19:10. 

“We have also A MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye TAKE HEED, AS UNTO A LIGHT THAT SHINETH IN A DARK PLACE, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 knowing this first, that NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION. 21 For the PROPHECY came not in OLD TIME by the will of man: but HOLY MEN OF GOD SPAKE as they were MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST” 2 Peter 1:19-21.

SUMMARY: 
The message is a scriptural warning and teaching on FORE-TELLING vs FORTH-TELLING: the difference between OLD TESTAMENT and NEW TESTAMENT Prophets and Prophecy. 
Because Christ has come and the Holy Spirit now LIVES IN us, YOU ARE your own PROPHET. You have the right to EXAMINE and JUDGE every prophecy. Do not be deceived by “SO CALLED PROPHETS” who operate like FORTUNE TELLERS. New Testament prophecy must point to Jesus and produce EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION, and COMFORT — not fear, bondage, or manipulation. 

Key Points: 

  1. YOU ARE YOUR OWN PROPHET 
    1 Corinthians 14:29 — Let the PROPHETS speak two or three, and let the other JUDGE 
    The Holy Spirit LIVES in you to ASCERTAIN TRUTH. 2 Timothy 1:7 — For God hath not given us THE SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 
  2. OLD TESTAMENT = FORE-TELLING 
    The Spirit came UPON them as and when needed. 
    Offices: KING to govern, PRIEST to minister to God, PROPHET to HEAR and RECEIVE the WORD for the people. 
    None were BORN AGAIN or FILLED with the Spirit living within John 3:3-8 — Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 
    Function: To FORETELL — predict as instructed, to tell the future and God’s plan. 
    Purpose: To lead Israel toward REDEMPTION fulfilled in Christ Jesus Luke 24:44-45 — all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
  3. NEW TESTAMENT = FORTH-TELLING 
    REDEMPTION is FULFILLED in Christ. We are BORN OF GOD, BAPTISED and FILLED with the indwelling Holy Spirit John 14:16-17 — And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth. 
    We have direct access to God with no bypass. By the Spirit and the Word, one CAN make JUDGEMENT on any PROPHECY 1 Corinthians 14:29 — let the other JUDGE | Acts 17:11 — they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. 
    The New Testament Prophet SPEAKS FORTH — to publish, make known, and broadcast the Gospel. 
    Result: 1 Corinthians 14:3-4 — he that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT. No fear, threat, or intimidation.
  4. HOW TO SPOT “SO CALLED PROPHETS” / FORTUNE TELLERS
    They exercise OLD TESTAMENT acts on NEW TESTAMENT people. This is unbiblical and leads to bondage.
    FORTUNE TELLING is like sorcery, spells, palmistry, witchcraft Acts 8:9-11 — But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery | Acts 19:19 — many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together. This is FRAUD and FALSEHOOD.
    Revelation 19:10 — FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY. Any true prophecy will point to Jesus, not to self or ego. 
    THE WORD IS THE FINAL TEST 
    Isaiah 8:20 — To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they SPEAK NOT ACCORDING TO THIS WORD, it is because there is NO LIGHT IN THEM 
    2 Peter 1:19-20 — We have also A MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye TAKE HEED… knowing this first, that NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION 
    Be like the BEREANS Acts 17:11 — they searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. 
    1 Corinthians 14:33 — For God is not the AUTHOR OF CONFUSION, but of peace. 

Call to Action 

  1. STIR UP THE GIFT IN YOU: 2 Timothy 1:6 — Stir up the gift of God, which is in thee. Stop depending blindly on men. 
  2. EXAMINE EVERYTHING: No matter who speaks, JUDGE it by the Word before you commit your life to it 1 Corinthians 14:29 — let the other JUDGE | 1 John 4:1 — believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God. 
  3. BE A BEREAN: READ, KNOW, and UNDERSTAND God’s WORD daily Acts 17:11. 
  4. REJECT FEAR AND MANIPULATION: 1 John 4:18 — There is no FEAR IN LOVE; but perfect love casteth out fear. Walk away from threats, spells, and fortune-telling. 
  5. DESIRE FORTH-TELLING: 1 Corinthians 14:1 — desire spiritual gifts, BUT RATHER THAT YE MAY PROPHESY — to edify, exhort and comfort 1 Corinthians 14:3. 

Final Charge: 
NOW WE HAVE CHRIST. The Spirit is IN you. Test all things. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Be free. Be informed. Be fulfilled. 

BE THE WORD DOER

BE THE WORD DOER: FOR ONLY THE WORD DOERS ARE “BLESSED” INDEED! 

“But be ye DOERS of the WORD, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the WORD, and not a DOER, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be BLESSED in his DEED” James 1:22-25. 

It is not how ELOQUENT you can TALK that CHANGES your WORLDS, but how much you can DO — THE WORD you talk about — to change your worlds and the worlds of others around you in grace. 

For it is about WALKING [DOING] the TALK, LIVING by the Spirit of THE WORD in the TALKING, and not about TALKING and making NOISE around without the WALKING [DOING] and LIVING by the Spirit of THE WORD, to change your worlds by your belief and believing in grace. 

For by THE WORD all THINGS are created and formed through FAITH — and FAITH is ACTING correspondingly, according to what you BELIEVE of God’s WORD in that particular CONTEXT in question.  

“By FAITH [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the WORLDS (universe, ages) were FRAMED and CREATED [FORMED, put in ORDER, and EQUIPPED for their intended PURPOSE] by THE WORD of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible” Hebrews 11:3/Amplified. 

“But I say, WALK habitually in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature [which responds impulsively without regard for God and His precepts] . . . 25 If we [claim to] LIVE by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also WALK by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit]” Galatians 5:16, 25/Amplified. 

The Scriptures in James 1:22-25 indicate that only the DOERS of what they HEAR are BLESSED, and not just BLESSED, but BLESSED INDEED. 

Jesus exemplified this in life and ministry. He would DO then TEACH, or TEACH then DO. He knew the effectual power of DOING to exemplify what He was about to talk about, and the efficacy of DOING what He had talked about. 

This act to DO and TEACH He CONTINUED to exercise in life and ministry, UNTIL the day He left the mortality of humanity for the immortality of heaven — Acts 1:1-3.  

“. . . Jesus began both to DO and TEACH, 2 UNTIL THE DAY IN WHICH HE WAS TAKEN UP, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: 3 to whom also he SHEWED himself alive after his passion by many INFALLIBLE PROOFS, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God” Acts 1:1-3. 

I challenge you to step into your worlds with the intent to be a DOER of the WORD of God in life and grace. BE A DOER OF THE WORD — FOR THE WORD WORKS INDEED. 

Doing the WORD will create the atmosphere you want to see and enjoy. Jesus did, and He had it approved of God with signs and wonders following — Acts 2:22. You can too, if you give it a go. I am a living witness of the working WORD when you do it.  

“Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man APPROVED of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know” Acts 2:22. 

When the Apostles went about DOING THE WORD, the Lord CONFIRMED THE WORD with them. 

The Lord God does not confirm any of their possessions, titles, status, persons and such like, but His WORD that they went about proclaiming. 

For as they carried THE WORD, the Lord was honouring THE WORD, and thereby honouring them — and not the other way round with hype, applause and such like for self before THE WORD.  

“. . . 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they WENT FORTH, and PREACHED every where, the Lord working with them, and CONFIRMING THE WORD WITH SIGNS FOLLOWING. Amen” Mark 16:15-20. 

And the ministering angels, who are to minister unto us as heirs of His salvation, will only act on our behalf by THE WORD and not apart from THE WORD. 

They DO THE WORD and only HARKEN to the VOICE of THE WORD — meaning the proclamation of THE WORD only. They are not out there to DO and HARKEN to the noise and noises around, no matter who is making it and how much is made without THE WORD — Psalms 103:20, Hebrews 1:7, 14.  

“Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that DO his commandments, HEARKENING unto the VOICE of his WORD” Psalms 103:20. 

“And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire . . . 14 Are they not all MINISTERING spirits, sent forth to MINISTER for them who shall be HEIRS of salvation?“ Hebrews 1:7, 14. 

And it is upon this knowledge and understanding — that only the DOING of THE WORD matters with God — hence the writer of the epistle, the Acts of the Apostles, Dr Luke, thereby made this admonition to all in Acts 20:32, saying: “And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD of his grace, which is able to BUILD you up, and to give you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED” 

It is only THE WORD that matters to Father God because THE WORD is Christ Jesus personified — 1 John 5:7; 1:1, 5, 14. And personifying THE WORD means God is obligated to show up for you and honour His WORD personified. 

That is how much THE WORD matters to Father God in every phase of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

I wish you God’s grace in Christ Jesus’ stead, as you DO THE WORD to receive His indeed BLESSEDNESS. Amen. 

BE A DOER OF THE WORD FOR THE WORD WORKS IN LIFE AND GRACE IN CHRIST JESUS’ STEAD. AMEN.

“. . . “BLESSED is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his DELIGHT is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he MEDITATE day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree PLANTED by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his LEAF also shall not wither; and WHATSOEVER HE DOETH SHALL PROSPER” Psalms 1:1-3. 

SUMMARY: 
This message is a charge to BE A DOER OF THE WORD — because ONLY THE WORD DOERS ARE “BLESSED” INDEED. 
It declares that eloquence and noise without action cannot change worlds. Real change, real blessing, and divine confirmation come when we WALK the TALK — living by the Spirit of THE WORD, acting in FAITH, and personifying Christ who IS THE WORD.

  1. THE CORE FOUNDATION: DOERS OF THE WORD ARE BLESSED INDEED
    God’s pattern is clear. Hearing without doing is self-deception.
    James 1:22-25 — “But be ye DOERS of the WORD, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves… But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be BLESSED in his DEED” 
    Blessing is tied to DOING, not just knowing.  
  1. THREE TRUTHS ABOUT BEING A WORD DOER
    THE WORD CREATES WORLDS THROUGH FAITH-FILLED ACTION
    It is not eloquence that changes your world, but DOING THE WORD.
    Hebrews 11:3 — “By FAITH [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the WORLDS (universe, ages) were FRAMED and CREATED [FORMED, put in ORDER, and EQUIPPED for their intended PURPOSE] by THE WORD of God” 
    Application: FAITH is ACTING correspondingly to what you BELIEVE of God’s WORD in that CONTEXT. Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfil the desires of the flesh. 
    Galatians 5:16, 25 — “WALK habitually in the Spirit… If we [claim to] LIVE by the Spirit, we must also WALK by the Spirit”[Holy]
    JESUS MODELLED IT: DO THEN TEACH
    Jesus began both to DO andTEACH, and continued it until heaven. 
    Acts 1:1-3 — “Jesus began both to DO and TEACH, UNTIL THE DAY IN WHICH HE WAS TAKEN UP… SHEWED himself alive after his passion by many INFALLIBLE PROOFS” 
    He knew the power of DOING to exemplify and to authenticate what He taught. Signs and wonders followed because God APPROVED Him. 
    Acts 2:22 — “Jesus of Nazareth, a man APPROVED of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you”
    GOD AND ANGELS RESPOND TO THE WORD, NOT TO NOISE
    When the Apostles went forth DOING THE WORD, the Lord CONFIRMED THE WORD with signs.
    Mark 16:20 — “And they WENT FORTH, and PREACHED every where, the Lord working with them, and CONFIRMING THE WORD WITH SIGNS FOLLOWING” 
    God does not confirm titles, status or hype — He confirms HIS WORD. 
    Ministering angels also only act by THE WORD. 
    Psalms 103:20 — “Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that DO his commandments, HEARKENING unto the VOICE of his WORD” 
    Hebrews 1:14 — “Are they not all MINISTERING spirits, sent forth to MINISTER for them who shall be HEIRS of salvation?” 
  1. AN IMPORTANT MANDATE: BE COMMENDED TO THE WORD OF HIS GRACE
    Dr Luke’s admonition in Acts is that THE WORD builds us and gives inheritance.
    Acts 20:32 — “And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD of his grace, which is able to BUILD you up, and to give you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED” 
    To personify THE WORD is to invite God to show up and honour His WORD in your life. 
  1. REALITIES FOR THE WORD DOER
    You Change Atmospheres — Doing THE WORD creates the atmosphere you want to see and enjoy. 
    You Are Built and You Prosper — Like a tree planted by rivers, “WHATSOEVER HE DOETH SHALL PROSPER” — Psalms 1:1-3 
    You Carry Divine Approval — God works with you and confirms THE WORD. 
    You Are A Witness — I am a living witness: THE WORD WORKS when you DO it. 
    You Walk in BLESSEDNESS — Not just blessed, but BLESSED INDEED in Christ Jesus’ stead. 
  1. A WORD TO THE HEARER
    Stop making NOISE without WALKING. Step into your world with intent to DO THE WORD in life and grace.
    BE A DOER OF THE WORD FOR THE WORD WORKS IN LIFE AND GRACE IN CHRIST JESUS’ STEAD. AMEN. 

IN ONE SENTENCE: 

BE THE WORD DOER, because only those who HEAR and DO THE WORD — Christ personified — are BLESSED INDEED, and it is THE WORD they carry that God and angels will honour with power, proof and prosperity.

THE KINGDOM GOSPEL: GIVES SALVATION UNTO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH! 

“For I am not ashamed of the GOSPEL OF CHRIST: for it is THE POWER of God UNTO SALVATION to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith“ Romans 1:16-17. 

The Gospel of Christ Jesus — it is the POWER of God that brings about the SALVATION of all mankind for today and tomorrow. How relevant it is today, more than ever before, in the midst of the turbulence, confusion, distrust, breakdown, hunger, chaos, wars, pandemic and such like, that have ravaged our world today. 

And SALVATION in this context is not necessarily only about being born of God into His Kingdom; but it is also about matters of life and godly living in humanity, and covers but is not limited to the following: PEACE, SOUND MIND, HEALTH, PROSPERITY, HEALING, SECURITY, SAFETY, DELIVERANCE, RESTORATION, STRENGTH, LIVELIHOOD, HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP and Such like and MORE. 

So, the preaching of the GOSPEL is the preaching of THE WORD of God, which is the preaching of Christ Jesus, who is THE WORD, the GOOD NEWS of human redemption. The good news is that man’s debt and eternal judgement are averted because Christ Jesus has paid for them by the sacrifice He made to take on human condemnation — which is the consequence of sin — so that man can be JUSTIFIED before God instead of facing the judgement of condemnation; and thereafter man can then live in FREEDOM from sin and its effects, in an onward and upward trajectory toward God in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“And THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM shall be PREACHED in all the world for a WITNESS unto ALL NATIONS; and then shall the end come” Matthew 24:14. 

“But ye shall receive POWER, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be WITNESSES unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, AND UNTO THE UTTERMOST PART OF THE EARTH” Acts 1:8.

This message is a proclamation that THE KINGDOM GOSPEL is THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION — for today, for tomorrow, and UNTO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH. 

It declares that the Gospel is not just about going to heaven, but about God’s power to bring PEACE, HEALING, DELIVERANCE and godly living to humanity right now, in the midst of a world that is turbulent and broken.

    Salvation includes being born into God’s Kingdom, but it also covers life and godly living. It addresses: PEACE, SOUND MIND, HEALTH, PROSPERITY, HEALING, SECURITY, SAFETY, DELIVERANCE, RESTORATION, STRENGTH, LIVELIHOOD, HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP and MORE. 
    Application: The Gospel meets man in every area of life, not just eternity.

    B. THE GOSPEL IS CHRIST — THE WORD
    To preach the Gospel is to preach THE WORD of God.
    Acts 8:4-5 — “Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where PREACHING THE WORD. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and PREACHED CHRIST unto them” 

    C. THE GOSPEL DEALS WITH SIN, CONDEMNATION AND FREEDOM
    Man’s debt is paid and judgement is averted because Christ took our condemnation.
    2 Corinthians 5:21 — “For he hath made him to BE SIN FOR US, who KNEW NO SIN; that we might be MADE the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in him” 
    Romans 8:1-2 — “There is therefore now NO CONDEMNATION to them which are in Christ Jesus… For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death”

    Acts 1:8 — “ye shall receive POWER, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be WITNESSES unto me… AND UNTO THE UTTERMOST PART OF THE EARTH” 
    Romans 15:20-21 — “so have I strived to PREACH THE GOSPEL, not where Christ was named… To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see” 
    Where the Gospel is preached, there is proof: healing, deliverance, and great joy — Acts 8:6-8.  
  1. A WORD TO THE PREACHER AND THE HEARER
    To the preacher:Don’t be ashamed. Preach Christ. The power is in the Gospel. 
    To the hearer: Receive salvation that covers your whole life. Come into the freedom Christ has paid for. You are no longer under condemnation. 

IN ONE SENTENCE: 

The KINGDOM GOSPEL is the POWER OF GOD for SALVATION to the ends of the earth — it justifies us, frees us, heals us, and qualifies us as AMBASSADORS to preach Christ until every nation has heard.

FEAR NOT – IN SICKNESSES AND DISEASES

FEAR NOT – IN SICKNESSES AND DISEASES: BE IT A NAMED OR UNNAMED, VIRAL DISEASE – FOR THERE IS AN ANSWER!  

“Say to them that are of a FEARFUL HEART, BE STRONG, FEAR NOT: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; HE WILL COME AND SAVE YOU” Isaiah 35:4. 

God HEALS today — He is the same God YESTERDAY, TODAY and FOREVER — Hebrews 13:8. 
Your FAITH is the VICTORY on God’s sent WORD, that gives you the enabling power to be healed, made well and made whole, to OVERCOME the spirit of fear, phobia, and every infirmity that torments everything concerning your wellbeing, in the grace, in Christ Jesus. Amen. 

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the VICTORY that has overcome the world—OUR FAITH. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5. 

“He sent His WORD and HEALED them, And rescued them from their destruction” Psalms 107:20/Amplified. 

“. . . Jesus said to him, “I will come and HEAL him.” 8 But the centurion replied to Him, “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof, but only SAY [SEND] THE WORD, and my servant will be HEALED . . .” Matthew 8:5-13/Amplified/Emphasis Mine. 

God says “FEAR NOT” over 365 times in Scripture — one for every day. 
As we live godly in Christ Jesus, there is a FEAR NOT word for today. 
And in that word is the answer to every KNOWN OR UNKNOWN sickness and disease. 

 “FEAR THOU NOT; FOR I AM WITH THEE: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness” Isaiah 41:10. 

“Therefore, since [these His] children share in flesh and blood [the physical nature of mankind], He Himself in a similar manner also shared in the same [physical nature, but without sin], so that through [experiencing] death He might make powerless (ineffective, impotent) him who had the power of death—that is, the devil— 15 and [that He] might FREE all those who through [the haunting] FEAR OF DEATH were held in slavery throughout their lives. 16 For, as we all know, He (Christ) does not take hold of [the fallen] angels [to give them a helping hand], but He does take hold of [the fallen] descendants of Abraham [extending to them His hand of deliverance]” Hebrews 2:14-16/Amplified. 

FEAR captivates, it imprisons, it torments, it limits, it breeds cowardice and casts spells, because it is the devil’s vehicle to police, intimidate and silence your FAITH in Christ Jesus. 

“For God did not give us a spirit of TIMIDITY OR COWARDICE OR FEAR, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]” 2 Timothy 1:7/Amplified. 

For it is our FAITH in God that works by LOVE, and that is our ANTIDOTE to FEAR. 

The FAITH which is based on our redemptive rights and privileges to live and do life in the healing and health made available and possible for you in grace, must work by and through love. 

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but FAITH WHICH WORKETH BY LOVE . . . 13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but BY LOVE serve one another” Galatians 5:6, 13. 

“Herein is our LOVE made perfect, that we may have BOLDNESS in the day of JUDGMENT [CHALLENGES]: BECAUSE AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. 18 THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE; BUT PERFECT LOVE CASTETH OUT FEAR: BECAUSE FEAR HATH TORMENT. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:17-18. 

For example, every virulent disease has a name, and at the NAME of Jesus, EVERY KNEE — which includes that virulent disease — shall BOW. That is, it will submit and yield to the authority and dictates of the WORD of God, and CONFESS His sovereignty in all matters of life and godly living. 

Hence you need not FEAR this vehicle and policing avenue of SATANIC and COHORTS’ spells when they show up at your door and on your path in life, on any day and at any moment. 

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 that at the name of Jesus every KNEE should BOW, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” Philippians 2:9-11. 

And know of a TRUTH that there is no overdose in the use and application of THE WORD, or in THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, or in the efficacious BLOOD OF CHRIST JESUS in resolving our life challenges. 

Only let us be soaked in the Word and in the power of the Spirit, for no virulent disease will come NEAR to abound or stay ON you, for you are the covenant child of God in Christ Jesus. Amen. 

“He sent his WORD, and HEALED them, and delivered them from their destructions” Psalms 107:20. 

I pray that your FAITH in Christ Jesus will well up in you against the spirit of fear and cause you to swim in the rivers of living Spirit of God, to deaden all Sicknesses and diseases you dread about in Jesus redemptive names. Amen! 

Be BLESSED – Be Empowered to live life in full in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

THE WORD OF GOD: THE LIFE & LIVING GRACE OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT-BEING! 

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall NOT LIVE by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” Matthew 4:4 [Luke 4:4]. 

Man is a spirit-being. 
He has a soul — the subconscious of the will, emotion, intellect, and faculty of reasoning — and he lives in a body made of dust, clay and sand. 

There is the need to FEED the man in your human, for that man in your human is your spirit. 
Meaning, you ARE a spirit-being, you HAVE a soul, and you LIVE in a body. 

Your definition is in your spirit-being because it is eternal. 
It gives life and living to your soul and body, and connects your whole being to the heavenly, so that you may have a life and a living that is godly and divinely linked. 

Therefore, synchronise your whole — total, complete — being as a spirit, in order to energise and synergise your soul and body by THE WORD of God, for your now, today and tomorrow in the grace.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“For THE WORD of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” Hebrews 4:12-13.

SUMMARY: 
This message centres on the truth that man’s primary need is spiritual nourishment. It teaches that because man is fundamentally a spirit-being, his life, strength and definition come from THE WORD of God, not just from physical things. 

KEY POINTS: 

  1. THE FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH:MANLIVES BY THE WORD 

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall NOT LIVE by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” Matthew 4:4  
Jesus establishes that physical bread sustains the body, but the spirit-man is sustained by every Word from God. Spiritual feeding is not optional, it is essential for life. 

  1. THE COMPOSITION OF MAN: SPIRIT,SOULAND BODY 

Man is a spirit-being. 
He HAS a soul — the subconscious of the will, emotion, intellect, and faculty of reasoning — and he LIVES in a body made of dust, clay and sand. 
Meaning, you ARE a spirit-being, you HAVE a soul, and you LIVE in a body. 
Your true definition and identity is in your eternal spirit-being. It is the spirit that gives life to your soul and body, and connects your whole being to the heavenly realm so that your life can be godly and divinely linked. 

Genesis 2:7 — “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” 
This shows the origin: body from dust, spirit from God’s breath, resulting in a living soul. 

Job 32:8 — “But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.” 
Job 33:4 — “The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.” 
The human spirit is the part that receives divine inspiration, understanding and life.  

  1. THE CONDITION OF THE SPIRIT AFFECTSTHE WHOLE MAN

The state of your spirit directly impacts your soul and body. 
Proverbs 18:14 — “The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a WOUNDED spirit who can bear?” 
Proverbs 17:22 — “A MERRY heart [human spirit] doeth good like a medicine: but a BROKEN spirit [human spirit] drieth the bones.” 
A strong, healthy spirit sustains you. A wounded or broken spirit weakens the entire person. Hence the urgent need to feed and strengthen the spirit. 

  1. HOW THE SPIRIT IS FED AND SYNCHRONISED: BYTHE WORD

Therefore, you must synchronise your whole — total, complete — being as a spirit, in order to energise and synergise your soul and body by THE WORD of God, for your now, today and tomorrow in the grace. 

Hebrews 4:12-13 — “For THE WORD of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” 
The Word feeds the spirit, separates soul from spirit, and brings clarity to the inner man. 

1 Thessalonians 5:23 — “And the very God of peace SANCTIFY you WHOLLY [TOTALLY, COMPLETELY]; and I pray God your WHOLE spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 
God’s desire is for your entire being — spirit, soul and body — to be sanctified and preserved. This happens as you are fed by the Word.  

  1. THE WORDIS PERSONAL: CHRIST HIMSELF 

John 1:1-5, 14 — “In the beginning was THE WORD, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD was God… In him was life; and THE LIFE was the light of men… And THE WORD was made FLESH [HUMAN] and dwelt among us…” 
1 John 5:7 — “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, THE WORD, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” 
To feed on THE WORD is to feed on Christ. The Word is not just text; it is the living Person who gives life and light. 

In one sentence: 
Because you are a spirit-being living in a body, your true life and strength comes from feeding your spirit with THE WORD of God, so that your whole being is energised, sanctified and divinely linked.

THE NEW WINE – ONLY ON A NEW YOU

THE NEW WINE – ONLY ON A NEW YOU: TO MAKE A NEW CREATION YOU – TO LIVE IN THE POSSIBILITY REALM IN THE GRACE! 

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is A NEW CREATION; old things have passed away; behold, all things have BECOME NEW” 2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV. 

“But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For in Christ Jesus NEITHER CIRCUMCISION NOR UNCIRCUMCISION AVAILS ANYTHING, but A NEW CREATION” Galatians 6:14-15 NKJV. 

Have you ever wondered why our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ made this statement in the Gospel of Mark 2:22 while He was on earth in human form? 
Just to update your knowledge — in case you do not know, as some have reasoned: 

It must be noted that in our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus’s day, people used animal skins — such as goatskin — for storing liquids. 
Fermented drinks such as wine expand. 

And since an OLD WINESKIN (Old bottles) would already have been stretched to its limit, the NEW WINE would tear the seams of a skin that had already been used. 

This means that an OLD WINESKIN will not stretch, yield, or respond to the gas pressure produced by fermenting wine. 
And because the OLD WINESKIN will not stretch, it will simply burst — which means that both the OLD WINESKIN and the WINE will be ruined and lost. 

That is the very reason why NEW WINE must be put into NEW WINESKINS. 
And when NEW WINE is put into NEW WINESKINS, both are preserved, and nothing is ruined or lost over time through use. 

“And no man putteth NEW WINE into OLD BOTTLES: else the NEW WINE doth burst the BOTTLES, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but NEW WINE must be put into NEW BOTTLES” Mark 2:22. 

Also, the phrase ‘OLD WINE in a NEW BOTTLE’ is an idiomatic expression used in context. 
It indicates and reflects that an OLD concept or institution is being offered and presented to be accepted as though it were still good, even when it is no longer relevant or applicable in the NEW context. 

And thus, people who go about accepting and following such concepts are held in bondage and dogma due to ignorance — the lack of knowledge and understanding of the truth. 

And the TRUTH is the expression of the WORD of God in Christ Jesus. 
For Christ Jesus Himself is both THE WORD and THE TRUTH.  

“As he spake these words, many BELIEVED on him. 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which BELIEVED on him, If ye CONTINUE IN MY WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 and ye shall KNOW THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE” John 8:39-32 

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” John 14:6. 

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, THE WORD, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” 1 John 5:7. 

And there are two things that are very clear to me in this concept and context above, which I will expound in detail in future posts. They are these: 

  • The Continuous Use of the Old Testament Context 
    That which has already been done away with is being used to legislate and justify practices, to make it appear as though it is still tangible and relevant for now — when it ought not to be accommodated or accepted at all. 
    Knowing in REDEMPTION that Christ Jesus has already fulfilled such context for the saints — the Believers of God — in His stead. 
    [John 1:45; Luke 24:25-27, 44-46; Hebrews 1:1-4; Hebrews 12:2; Romans 10:1-4; Matthew 22:38-46; Matthew 16:13-20] 
  • The New Wine — who is the Blessed Holy Spirit 
    He is ONLY and PURELY meant and made available to the Believers [the New Creation] in Christ Jesus and not given to the world — the unbelieving ones toward God and Christ Jesus. 
    Acts 20:20-21; John 14:16-17 

This therefore means that SALVATION is the only opportunity made available to all in the world, and not the Holy Spirit. 
Receiving the Holy Spirit is only made possible after one has received the Gospel of Salvation in Christ Jesus. 
Anything else is perversion, counterfeit, adulteration, delusion and falsehood. 
[John 14:15-17; John 7:37-39; Luke 11:9-11; Acts 1:5, 8; Acts 2:1-13; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 19:1-7] 

The New Wine speaks of the Holy Spirit. 
And besides being God in the Godhead and Trinity, and given to lead the Believers in Christ Jesus in all things throughout humanity, He is also given to gladden the hearts of the Believers in Christ Jesus’s stead. 

Hence, part of His character is that of the Believers’ Comforter — if you recall that in the Scriptures, Christ Jesus did promise and assure the Believers in Him that He would send them the promised Comforter. 
He called Him the Promise of the Father; and that Promise has already been fulfilled and is available for all to access after salvation, without prejudice or dissimulation, and indeed irrespective of person. 
[John 14:15-17; Romans 5:5; Psalms 104:15; Joel 2:19, 28-29] 

The earliest Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ were instructed to assemble by our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, as recorded in Acts 1:5, 8. 
This was in order for them to receive the Promise of the Father God in Joel 2:19, 28-29 — and not limited to them — as emphasised by our Saviour and Lord Christ Jesus in John 7:37-39 and Luke 24:49. 
This pertains to receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. 

And as they obeyed that instruction, just as they were told, it came to pass as written in Acts 2:1-13, that they received the Promise of God — which is for all, even until this day, and until the Lord returns — for all who will believe on the saving grace in Christ Jesus’s stead. 

Those who observed and witnessed the Apostles in this unique and blessed manifestation, which is attributed to a PENTECOST experience, described the Apostles in their acts and experiences as people drunk with NEW WINE. 
And indeed, they were drunk — with NEW WINE: the HOLY SPIRIT of promise. 

It is upon such uniqueness that the Apostle Paul drew a comparison to the drunken effect that people experience from ordinary wine, while he admonishes the Ephesian Church to rather be filled with the Holy Spirit, in order to have the contrary result to mere drunkenness, as explained in the context as it is written:  

“. . . 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? 13 Others mocking said, These men are FULL of NEW WINE” Acts 2:1-13. 

“And be not DRUNK WITH WINE, wherein is excess; but be FILLED with the Spirit; 19 speaking to yourselves in PSALMS and HYMNS and SPIRITUAL SONGS, SINGING and making MELODY in your heart to the Lord; 20 GIVING THANKS always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21 SUBMITTING yourselves one to another in the fear of God” Ephesians 5:18-21. 

To be filled with the NEW WINE — the Holy Spirit — requires a NEW YOU: a NEW CREATION body for Him to dwell in. 
Otherwise, it is like putting the NEW WINE into an OLD BOTTLE — the OLD YOU, which is the unregenerate life, the unconverted life, and the unrepentant life. 

The Holy Spirit of TRUTH is set aside only for the believers in God, in Christ Jesus’s stead, and not for those in the world who have not believed in the saving grace of God in Christ Jesus. 
Amen. 

“If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may ABIDE with you for ever; 17 even the Spirit of truth; WHOM THE WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth WITH you, and shall be IN you” John 14:15-17. 

“And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have TAUGHT you publickly, and from house to house, 21 TESTIFYING both to THE JEWS, and also to THE GREEKS, REPENTANCE TOWARD God, and FAITH TOWARD our Lord Jesus Christ” Acts 20:20-21. 

I welcome you now to make yourself available to God in Christ Jesus, to become a New Creation in order to access the New Wine that will make all the difference — in God, in Christ Jesus’s stead. Amen.  

THE NEW WINE – ONLY ON A NEW YOU – TO MAKE A NEW CREATION YOU – TO LIVE IN POSSIBILITY

FURTHER SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us” Romans 5:5. 

“And WINE that maketh GLAD the heart of man, and OIL to make his face to SHINE, and BREAD which STRENGTHENETH man’s heart” Psalms 104:15. 

“Yea, the Lord will ANSWER and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you CORN, and WINE, and OIL, and ye shall be SATISFIED therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen . . . 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will POUR out my spirit upon ALL flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit” Joel 2:19, 28-29. 

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, IF ANY MAN THIRST, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that BELIEVETH on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which THEY THAT BELIEVE ON HIM SHOULD RECEIVE: for the Holy Ghost was NOT YET GIVEN; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)” John 7:37-39.

“Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom moses in the law, and THE PROPHETS, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph” John 1:45. 

“Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that THE PROPHETS have spoken: 26 ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at MOSES and all THE PROPHETS, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself . . . 44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in THE LAW OF MOSES, and in THE PROPHETS, and in THE PSALMS, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their UNDERSTANDING, that they might UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES, 46 and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day” Luke 24:25-27, 44-46. 

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in TIME PAST unto the fathers by the PROPHETS, 2 hath in these LAST DAYS spoken unto us by HIS Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they” Hebrews 1:1-4. 

“Looking unto Jesus the AUTHOR and FINISHER of our FAITH; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” Hebrews 12:2. 

“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being IGNORANT of God’s righteousness, and going about to ESTABLISH THEIR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the END OF THE LAW FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS to every one that believeth” Romans 10:1-4.

SUMMARY: 
This message is a doctrinal teaching centred on Mark 2:22 — “New Wine in New Wineskins”, and its application to the believer’s life in Christ Jesus. 

  1. THE FOUNDATION: NEW CREATION IN CHRIST

The entire teaching rests on 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Galatians 6:14-15: 
When a person is in Christ, he becomes a NEW CREATION. Old things pass away. The Cross crucifies us to the world and the world to us. In Christ, religious rituals like circumcision do not matter — only A NEW CREATION does. 
Therefore, God’s plan is not to patch the old life, but to make all things new. 

  1. THE PARABLE EXPLAINED: NEW WINE AND NEW WINESKINS — MARK 2:22

In Christ Jesus’s day, wine was stored in animal skins. 

  • OLD WINESKIN [OLD BOTTLE]: Already stretched and rigid. It cannot expand. 
  • NEW WINE: Ferments and produces gas. It requires something flexible that can stretch. 

If you put NEW WINE into an OLD WINESKIN, the pressure will cause it to burst. Both the wine and the skin will be ruined. 
Application: NEW WINE must go into NEW WINESKINS so that both are preserved.  

  1. THE WARNING: “OLD WINE IN A NEW BOTTLE”

This is used idiomatically to describe when an OLD concept or institution from the Old Testament is repackaged and presented as if it is still relevant for today. 
People who accept this are kept in bondage and dogma through ignorance — a lack of knowledge of THE TRUTH, which is the WORD of God expressed in Christ Jesus. 
Christ Himself is THE WORD and THE TRUTH [John 14:6, 1 John 5:7].  

  1. TWO KEY CLARIFICATIONS MADE IN THE MESSAGE
    The Continuous Use of the Old Testament Context
    That which Christ has already fulfilled is being used to legislate Christian practice today. This ought not to be.
    In REDEMPTION, Christ has fulfilled the Law, the Prophets and the Psalms for the Believers of God [Luke 24:44-46, Hebrews 1:1-4, Romans 10:4]. 
    We are no longer under the Old Covenant system.
    The New Wine — Who is the Blessed Holy Spirit
    The NEW WINErepresents the Holy Spirit. 
    He is ONLY and PURELY given to the Believers [the New Creation] in Christ Jesus, not to the world [John 14:16-17]. 
    This means: 
  • SALVATION is offered to all in the world. 
  • The Holy Spirit is received after one believes the Gospel of Salvation. 
    Anything else is perversion, counterfeit, adulteration and falsehood. 
  1. THE CHARACTER AND WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT — THE NEW WINE

The Holy Spirit is God in the Godhead and Trinity. His work includes: 

Leading Believers in all things throughout humanity 
Gladdening the hearts of Believers [Psalm 104:15] 
Being the Believers’ Comforter — the Promise of the Father already fulfilled [John 14:15-17] 

The Apostles were instructed to wait in Jerusalem [Acts 1:5,8] to receive this Promise prophesied in Joel 2:28-29. When they obeyed, on the day of PENTECOST [Acts 2:1-13], they were filled and people said, “These men are FULL of NEW WINE.” 
This is why Apostle Paul admonishes the Ephesian Church: “Be not DRUNK WITH WINE… but be FILLED with the Spirit” [Ephesians 5:18-21] — resulting in psalms, hymns, thanksgiving and submission. 

  1. THE REQUIREMENT: A NEW YOU FOR THE NEW WINE

To be filled with the NEW WINE, the Holy Spirit, you must be a NEW YOU — a NEW CREATION body for Him to dwell in. 
To put the New Wine into an OLD YOU — the unregenerate, unconverted, unrepentant life — is to invite ruin, just like old bottles. 
The Holy Spirit of TRUTH is set aside only for those who have believed in the saving grace of God in Christ Jesus. The world cannot receive Him [John 14:17]. 

  1. THE INVITATION AND CHARGE

The message closes with an altar call: 
“I welcome you now to make yourself available to God in Christ Jesus, to become a New Creation in order to access the New Wine that will make all the difference — in God, in Christ Jesus’s stead. Amen.” 

It ends with supporting scriptures on the Holy Spirit being GIVEN [Romans 5:5], God POURING OUT His Spirit [Joel 2:28-29], and Christ as the fulfilment of THE LAW, THE PROPHETS, AND THE PSALMS. 

CORE CONCLUSION 
You cannot carry the NEW WINE of the Holy Spirit in the OLD YOU. 
Redemption demands a NEW CREATION. Salvation comes first, then the infilling of the Holy Spirit. 
To live in the possibility realm in the grace is to live as a New Creation, filled with the New Wine, walking in the Truth of the Word.

FORE-Telling And FORTH-Telling

FORE-Telling And FORTH-Telling: The Difference As To The OLD And NEW TESTAMENT – PROPHETS And PROPHECY! 

Do not be deceived and mistaken anymore by anyone – because you ARE your own PROPHET. Meaning therefore, that you can EXAMINE, that is, JUDGE the spirit before you AFFIRM PROPHECY blindly – for the Holy Spirit of God LIVES in you to ASCERTAIN the TRUTH that assures, ensures and sets one FREE. FEAR NOT THEREFORE ANYMORE! 

“Let the PROPHETS speak two or three, and let the other JUDGE (EXAMINE)” 1 Corinthians 14:29 (Emphasis Mine). 

For a while now, the majority of innocent Christians have ended up in more bondage in their curiosity to obtain miracles or blessings from SO-CALLED PROPHETS, who unknowingly are more like FORTUNE TELLER on SPELLS. 

I have used the word “SO-CALLED PROPHETS” because such are not genuine in respect to the genuine PROPHETS of God, by the obvious unscriptural acts and vices they have exposed people to in their vulnerability. For God’s GENUINE PROPHET are CALLED and SENT FORTH as MESSENGERS with His message, which does not take advantage of people’s vulnerability. 

Firstly, the Scriptures accredit the essence of PROPHET and PROPHETIC Ministry in both the OLD and NEW Testament (Ephesians 4:11-16). Unfortunately, their acts of OPERATION, ADMINISTRATION and MANIFESTATION are not the same, meaning they are contrary in each TESTAMENT (1 Corinthians 12:4-7); and unfortunately, many are exerting and exercising the patterns of the OLD TESTAMENT in the NEW TESTAMENT. 

In the OLD TESTAMENT there were three classes of LEADERSHIP :  
    The KING (To oversee, protect and defend in the civic governance of the people),  

     The PRIEST (To minister To God on behalf of the People)   

     The PROPHET (To HEAR and RECEIVE The WORD from Father God for the people).  

And more importantly, none of them, nor the people of that TESTAMENT assigned to LEAD, were BORN AGAIN, BAPTISED AND FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT living within, in order to authenticate The WORD of God as it is today – (John 3:3-8, 16-18). For The Holy Spirit came upon these three sects as and when needed to accomplish the purposes in their jurisdiction of obligations under God. It came UPON them ONLY. It Never LIVED in them.  

And the PROPHET, as per this context, in the OLD TESTAMENT was to HEAR The WORD from God by The Holy Spirit that came UPON them ONLY to minster to God’s people. Hence the purposeful function was to FORE TELL – that is, FORE-TELLING – in Ministerial UTTERANCES. 

And to FORETELL, which is a verb, means to predict as instructed; to tell the future as instructed before it occurs and to prophesy about God’s intended plan in solving the immediate or future purpose of God to His people. And in each case God did not leave His people in limbo but gave direction for their journey to fulfill His intended RIGHTEOUS plan and purpose. And God did all these in the OLD TESTAMENT as a process of carrying out His PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT towards human REDEMPTION, which was to be fulfilled in Christ Jesus – (Luke 24:44-45; John 1:45; Galatians 3:23-25). 

NOW WE HAVE CHRIST JESUS –THE RESULT AND THE CONSEQUENCE OF THE NEW TESTAMENT. 

The NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET, unlike the OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET, differs in many respects. Firstly, REDEMPTION has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus for humanity. And the people of God today are born of God, in grace within, baptised and filled with the indwelling Holy Spirit to guide and guard the respective individual and collective body. We are also given the right to access God unhindered, individually and collectively, with no need to bypass any person. And by the indwelling Holy Spirit through God’s WORD, one CAN make JUDGEMENT on any form of PROPHECY or PROPHETIC UTTERANCE of any SORT – to discern if it be of God or not. 

It thus means that the NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET is ONLY in a position to SPEAK FORTH, that is, to FORTH TELL – FORTH TELLING – in Ministerial UTTERANCES. And to FORTH-TELL is a verb and it means to tell forth; that is, to publish abroad, make known, spread, shout out and broadcast the GOSPEL – the Good News – of that which has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus on our behalf in REDEMPTION, the result of which is EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION and COMFORT – (1 Corinthians 14:3-4). Wherein there is no fear, threat, complex or unnecessary sentiments to appeal to any at all. 

And since we live in the sphere and realm of the Holy Spirit to REVEAL and AUTHENTICATE God’s PLAN, PURPOSE and WILL in Christ Jesus in us by The WORD, we need none of such ACTS of the OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET (1 Corinthians 2:9-10). Genuine PROPHETIC PROPHECY of God will point one to JESUS and not self, ego and personality (Revelation 19:10). And anyone who claims to have a PROPHETIC PROPHECY and does not seem to be open to EXAMININATION indicates error, ignorance, pride, rudeness, self-egoism and such like. (Acts 17:10-13; 1 Corinthians 14:29). Every PROPHESY must be EXAMINED in the LIGHT of God’s WORD (Isaiah 8:16, 19-20; 2 Peter 1:19-21). 

It is unfortunate that some sects of Ministers have assumed to become PROPHETS or to have a PROPHETIC message which I call ‘SO-CALLED PROPHETS’. They go about taking advantage of God’s precious people in their ignorance of not being diligent searchers of the SCRIPTURES as BEREA N Christians (Acts 17:10-13) and are exerting and exercising the OLD TESTAMENT Prophetic Ministerial acts on the NEW TESTAMENT Believers in Christ Jesus, which is absurd. 

These dubious acts being practiced are unbiblical and unscriptural and they result in FORTUNE-TELLING – FORTUNE-TELLING/TELLER. This is the act of a person who is supposedly able to predict a person’s future by palmistry, using a crystal ball, or similar methods such as sorcery, spells, witchcraft and such likes (Acts 8:1-25; Acts 19:8-20). This is FRAUD and FALSEHOOD and many unfortunately, who do not care to READ, KNOW and UNDERSTAND God’s WORD by the Holy spirit, have become victims. They are lured into such bondages with all forms of fear and phobias in order to get them to consent to these sentiments. 

Dear Believers in Christ, you have the right in Christ Jesus to make JUDGEMENT – that is, to EXAMINE – without being judgemental, on any prophecy no matter who SPEAKS or is SPEAKING (Acts 17:10-13), before you affirm your life to it, otherwise, the consequential error is yours and not God’s, for God is not the AUTHOR of CONFUSION – (1 Corinthians 14:26-33; Matthew 22:29). 

THERE IS NO ROOM FOR THE SPIRIT OF FEAR, THREAT, INTIMIDATION AND TORMENT ON GOD’S PEOPLE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT PROPHETIC MINISTRY. 

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, BUT RATHER THAT YE MAY PROPHESY. 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 3 But he that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT . . . 26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. 27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. 29 LET THE PROPHETS SPEAK TWO OR THREE, AND LET THE OTHER JUDGE (EXAMINE). 30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. 31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the AUTHOR OF CONFUSION, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints . . .” 1 Corinthians 14:1-40 (Emphasis Mine). 

“Wherefore I put thee in REMEMBRANCE that thou STIR UP THE GIFT OF GOD, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. 7 For God hath not given us THE SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” 2 Timothy 1:6-7 

“Herein is our LOVE MADE PERFECT (COMPLETE, MATURE, WHOLE), that we may have boldness in the DAY OF JUDGMENT (PREDICAMENT, CHALLENGES, QUESTIONING): because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no FEAR IN LOVE; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:17-18 (Emphasis Mine).. 

“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY, WHETHER THOSE THINGS WERE SO. 12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few. 13 But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people” Acts 17:10-13. 

“To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they SPEAK NOT ACCORDING TO THIS WORD, it is because there is NO LIGHT IN THEM” Isaiah 8:20. 

“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY” Revelation 19:10. 

“We have also A MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye TAKE HEED, AS UNTO A LIGHT THAT SHINETH IN A DARK PLACE, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 knowing this first, that NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION. 21 For the PROPHECY came not in OLD TIME by the will of man: but HOLY MEN OF GOD SPAKE as they were MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST” 2 Peter 1:19-21.

SUMMARY: 

This is a doctrinal charge and warning to the Church on how to discern true prophecy and why the New Testament believer is not meant to be deceived by counterfeit prophetic acts. 

  1. THE CORE WARNING: YOU ARE YOUR OWN PROPHET

The opening charge is that you are not to be deceived. Because the Holy Spirit LIVES IN YOU, you have the responsibility and right to EXAMINE, THAT IS, JUDGE THE SPIRIT before you blindly affirm any prophecy. 
Scripture: “Let the PROPHETS speak two or three, and let the other JUDGE” — [1 Corinthians 14:29]. 
Fear has no place. The Spirit in you assures, ensures and sets free. 

  1. THE PROBLEM: SO-CALLED PROPHETS AND FORTUNE-TELLING

Many innocent Christians have ended up in bondage chasing miracles from SO-CALLED PROPHETS. These are not genuine prophets of God. Their unscriptural acts and vices expose people in their vulnerability. 
Their operation is closer to FORTUNE-TELLING — palmistry, crystal balls, sorcery, spells, witchcraft [Acts 8:1-25; Acts 19:8-20]. This is FRAUD AND FALSEHOOD. 
People are lured with fear, phobias, threats and intimidation because they do not READ, KNOW AND UNDERSTAND GOD’S WORD. 
God’s genuine prophet is called and sent as a messenger with God’s message and does not take advantage of people’s vulnerability. 

  1. OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET: FORE-TELLING

Scriptural Basis: The essence of prophet and prophetic ministry is accredited in both Testaments [Ephesians 4:11-16], but their OPERATION, ADMINISTRATION AND MANIFESTATION are not the same [1 Corinthians 12:4-7]. 

OLD TESTAMENT STRUCTURE: 
There were three leadership offices: 

THE KING — to oversee, protect and defend in civic governance. 

THE PRIEST — to minister to God on behalf of the people. 

THE PROPHET — to HEAR and RECEIVE THE WORD from God for the people. 

KEY DIFFERENCE: None in the Old Testament were BORN AGAIN, BAPTISED AND FILLED WITH THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT [John 3:3-8, 16-18]. 
The Holy Spirit CAME UPON them only when needed to accomplish God’s purpose in their jurisdiction. It never LIVED in them. 

FUNCTION: The Old Testament prophet was to FORE-TELL — to predict as instructed, to tell the future before it occurs, and to declare God’s plan for immediate or future purposes. God did not leave His people in limbo; He gave direction for their journey. 
All of this was part of God’s PLAN, PURPOSE AND PURSUIT TOWARDS HUMAN REDEMPTION, which was fulfilled in CHRIST JESUS [Luke 24:44-45; John 1:45; Galatians 3:23-25]. 

  1. NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET:FORTH TELLING

NOW WE HAVE CHRIST JESUS — THE RESULT OF THE NEW TESTAMENT. Redemption is fulfilled. 

KEY DIFFERENCES: 

Indwelling Spirit: Believers today are born of God, baptised and filled with the indwelling Holy Spirit to guide and guard us individually and corporately.
Direct Access: We have the right to access God unhindered, with no need to bypass any person.
Discernment: By the indwelling Spirit and the Word, every believer CAN MAKE JUDGEMENT on any prophecy to discern if it is of God. 

FUNCTION: The New Testament prophet is ONLY IN A POSITION TO SPEAK FORTH — FORTH-TELL. 
To FORTH-TELL means to publish abroad, make known, spread, and broadcast the GOSPEL — the Good News of what Christ has fulfilled in Redemption. 
The result of genuine New Testament prophecy is EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION AND COMFORT [1 Corinthians 14:3-4]. 
There is no fear, threat, complex or manipulation. 

Because we live in the realm of the Holy Spirit to REVEAL AND AUTHENTICATE GOD’S PLAN, PURPOSE AND WILL IN CHRIST [1 Corinthians 2:9-10], we do not need Old Testament prophetic acts. 
Genuine prophetic prophecy will always point to JESUS, not to self, ego or personality [Revelation 19:10]. 

  1. THE TEST: EXAMINE EVERY PROPHECY

Any prophecy that is not open to EXAMINATION shows signs of error, ignorance, pride and self-egoism [Acts 17:10-13; 1 Corinthians 14:29]. 
Every prophecy MUST BE EXAMINED IN THE LIGHT OF GOD’S WORD [Isaiah 8:16, 19-20; 2 Peter 1:19-21]. 
Be like the BEREAN CHRISTIANS who searched the Scriptures daily to verify if things were so [Acts 17:10-13]. 

  1. THE FINAL CHARGE

It is absurd that some ministers are practicing Old Testament prophetic patterns on New Testament believers. These dubious acts lead people into bondage and fear. 
Dear Believer: You have the right in Christ to JUDGE WITHOUT BEING JUDGEMENTAL. If you affirm error, the consequence is yours — God is not the AUTHOR OF CONFUSION [1 Corinthians 14:26-33; Matthew 22:29]. 
THERE IS NO ROOM FOR THE SPIRIT OF FEAR, THREAT, INTIMIDATION AND TORMENT IN NEW TESTAMENT PROPHETIC MINISTRY. 
“For God hath not given us THE SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” — [2 Timothy 1:6-7]. 
“There is no FEAR IN LOVE; but perfect love casteth out fear” — [1 John 4:17-18]. 

THE BOTTOM LINE IN ONE LINE: 

Old Testament prophecy was FORE-TELLING by the Spirit UPON men. New Testament prophecy is FORTH TELLING the finished work of Christ by the Spirit IN men. Test everything by the Word, point everything to Jesus, and reject fear.

THE PROPHET AND THE PROPHECY

THE PROPHET AND THE PROPHECY: ANY PROPHECY MUST CONVEY THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS! 

“And I fell at his feet to WORSHIP him. And he said unto me, See thou DO IT NOT: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the TESTIMONY OF JESUS: WORSHIP God: FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY” Revelation 19:10. 

It is time to wake up from your SLUMBERING and WANDERING desire to be seeking a PROPHECY, instead of seeking the Lord God of PROPHECY in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

And ENOUGH of that FOOLISHNESS, IGNORANCE and STUPIDITY. 

You must come to know that no matter who DARES to speak into your life — whether a MAN or an ANGEL and the like — concerning the so-called and acclaimed PROPHECY or PROPHETIC MESSAGE, such a message MUST CONVEY THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS in your life. 

And such a message must of necessity align with these principles of grace: 
What Christ HAS DONE, What He IS DOING in you, and What He WILL DO through you in His WORD and His LOVE, by the blessed HOLY SPIRIT who is given and lives within you in the grace.  

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the LOVE of God has been POURED out in our HEARTS by the Holy Spirit who was GIVEN to us” Romans 5:5/NKJV. 

The Testimony of God in Christ Jesus is the only authentic, vital and legally binding deed of God, wherein you have BETTER and DONE ACCESS, PROMISES, COVENANT, RELATIONSHIP, FELLOWSHIP and the like, in the grace. 

And that is HOW TO MEASURE and DISCERN the TRUE and GENUINE spirit of PROPHECY. 

For the message of prophecy and the prophetic message is to EDIFY, EXHORT and COMFORT.  

“But he that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT. 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue EDIFIETH himself; but he that PROPHESIETH EDIFIETH the church” 1 Corinthians 14:3-4. 

Anything that contradicts the Holy Writ of 1 Corinthians 14:3-5, especially that which attracts FEAR and THREATENING in all its ramifications, is false and falsehood, no matter who is speaking. 

For God is not the author of confusion. 

God wants you to be a VICTOR and not a VICTIM, and let no one take you for granted, especially in your moments of vulnerability. 

It is not about the NOISE but the WORD of God in graciousness and gracefulness in His BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto ANOTHER gospel: 7 which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would PERVERT the gospel of Christ. 8 But though WE, OR AN ANGEL from heaven, PREACH (PROPHESY) any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be ACCURSED. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man PREACH [PROPHESY] any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be ACCURSED” Galatians 1:6-9/Emphasis Mine. 

The Holy Scripture is graciously clear about the spirit of PROPHECY for the New Creation in Christ Jesus. 

It is about the TESTIMONY of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ in us. 

It must AFFIRM you gracefully by THE HOLY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU and by THE WORD, in God’s love — and not intimidate or undermine your place in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world CANNOT receive, because it seeth him not, neither KNOWETH him: but ye KNOW him; for he dwelleth WITH you, and shall be IN you” John 14:17. 

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is SHED abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us” Romans 5:5. 

Godly inspired PROPHECY is about TESTIFYING, AFFIRMING, DECLARING and PROCLAIMING the TESTIMONY of our FAITH on what Jesus HAS DONE, IS DOING and WILL DO in your life by THE WORD and THE HOLY SPIRIT, which conveys EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION and COMFORT. 

 “But he that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT. 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue EDIFIETH himself; but he that PROPHESIETH EDIFIETH the church” 1 Corinthians 14:3-4. 

It thus means that a GENUINE PROPHET with PROPHECY and PROPHESYING is the one who graciously and gracefully ministers and speaks to people unto EDIFICATION, in order to promote their spiritual growth in wisdom, devotion, holiness and the joy of the Lord. 
It also speaks WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT to uphold and advise concerning the matters of God. 
And it speaks WORDS OF CONSOLATION to compassionately comfort in all matters of LIFE and GODLINESS [Godly Living].  

“Bind up the TESTIMONY, seal the LAW among my disciples . .19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? 20 To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they speak not according to this WORD, it is because there is no LIGHT in them” Isaiah 8:16, 19-20. 

 

And in all these, it MUST be without any acts of FEAR and THREAT and GAIN. 
For God has not given us the spirit of FEAR, THREAT and INTIMIDATION 2 Timothy 1:7. 
And God’s perfect love in Christ, expressed through PROPHECY, casts out every element of FEAR and TORMENT and CONFUSION and SCHISM 1 John 4:17-18; 1 Corinthians 14:31-33; Ephesians 3:17-19. 

There must be a profound SCRIPTURAL indication of genuine prophecy as in 1 Corinthians 14:3-4, that anyone can believe upon and that must be acclaimed to be given, delivered and received of God. 
And that is the most gracious and graceful way to avoid and KEEP AT BAY false PROPHETS with FALSEHOODS, CUNNING and CRAFTY PROPHECY who come with THREAT, FRIGHTENING, MADE-UP FEARS and BONDAGES. 

May I say emphatically that genuine PROPHETS and PROPHECY should give others the opportunity to EXAMINE — that is, to JUDGE without being judgemental — to ascertain that the prophecy acclaimed by them is of God and Scriptural, as expected in the light of the Scriptures. Otherwise, such is proud, arrogant and false 1 Corinthians 14:29-33; 1 Corinthians 2:11-16; Isaiah 8:20; Revelation 19:10. 

Know today that ANYTHING contrary is FRAUD, SORCERY and WITCHCRAFT Acts 8:9-26. 

Are you building your life on just a so-called prophet’s prophecy? 
Or relying on a recorded, creed-like prophetic book referenced to you? 
Please PAUSE and THINK scripturally about it before you act on it. 

God’s WORD by the Holy Spirit is still actively at work today, as in the Bible days, and for your tomorrow. 
God’s WORD is the only authentic, authoritative, undiluted and unadulterated prophecy that EXAMINES any so-called prophecy from any so-called prophet or prophetess, for your today and tomorrow VICTORY and TRIUMPH, irrespective of anything. Hebrews 13:8; Hebrews 4:12-13; Acts 17:10-12; 2 Timothy 3:14-17; 2 Timothy 2:15.

“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the TESTIMONY OF JESUS: WORSHIP God: FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY” Revelation 19:10.

SUMMARY: 
This message is about testing every prophecy, prophet and prophetic word by one unchanging standard: THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST. It calls believers to wake up from chasing prophecies and instead seek the Lord God of Prophecy, whilst learning to discern the genuine from the false in the light of Scripture. 

KEY POINTS: 

  1. THE CENTRAL STANDARD: REVELATION 19:10

“FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY.” 
Any prophecy, no matter who delivers it — MAN or ANGEL — must CONVEY THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS in your life. Galatians 1:8-9 warns that even if “WE, OR AN ANGEL from heaven” preach another gospel, let him be accursed. 
The Testimony of God in Christ Jesus is the only authentic, vital and legally binding deed of God. It is where you have ACCESS, PROMISES, COVENANT, RELATIONSHIP and FELLOWSHIP in the grace.  

  1. THE 3-FOLD PURPOSE OF GENUINE PROPHECY: 1 CORINTHIANS 14:3-4

“He that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT.” 
A genuine prophet therefore: 

EDIFIES — promotes spiritual growth in wisdom, devotion, holiness and the joy of the Lord. 

EXHORTS — gives words of encouragement to uphold and advise on the matters of God. 

COMFORTS — gives words of consolation in all matters of LIFE and GODLINESS. 

If it does not build up, encourage, and comfort, it is not God.  

  1. THE 3-FOLD FRAMEWORK OF CHRIST’S WORK

Godly prophecy must align with what Christ has done in grace: 
What Christ HAS DONE 
What He IS DOING in you 
What He WILL DO through you 
This is made real by THE WORD and THE HOLY SPIRIT who is given and lives within you. Romans 5:5; John 14:17 — The Holy Spirit within you affirms the Word and sheds God’s love in your heart. 

  1. RED FLAGS: WHAT FALSE PROPHECY LOOKS LIKE

Anything that contradicts 1 Corinthians 14:3-5 is false, especially if it brings: 
FEAR, THREAT, INTIMIDATION, CONFUSION, TORMENT, SCHISM 
2 Timothy 1:7 — God has not given us the spirit of fear. 
1 Corinthians 14:33 — God is NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION, but of peace. 
False prophets use FALSEHOODS, CUNNING, CRAFTY PROPHECY, MADE-UP FEARS and BONDAGES to control people in their moments of vulnerability. Acts 8:9-26 — Anything contrary to the Word is FRAUD, SORCERY and WITCHCRAFT. 

  1. HOW TO TEST AND DISCERN: ISAIAH 8:20; 1 JOHN 4:1-3

“To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they speak not according to this WORD, it is because there is no LIGHT in them.” Isaiah 8:20 
“Beloved, BELIEVE NOT every spirit, but TRY [EXAMINE] the spirits whether they ARE of God” 1 John 4:1 
Genuine prophecy must be EXAMINED and JUDGED without being judgemental 1 Corinthians 14:29. It must be SCRIPTURAL, DECENT and IN ORDER 1 Corinthians 14:40. 
Isaiah 8:16 — “Bind up the TESTIMONY, seal the LAW among my disciples.” 

  1. THE CALL TO PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

It is time to wake up from SLUMBERING and WANDERING after prophecies. 
ENOUGH of FOOLISHNESS, IGNORANCE and STUPIDITY. 
Do not build your life on a so-called prophet or a recorded prophetic book.

It is not about NOISE but the WORD of God in graciousness and gracefulness in His BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus’ stead. God wants you to be a VICTOR and not a VICTIM.

SPIRITUAL FAMINE: ARE YOU IN DROUGHT TO THE HEARING OF THE WORD! 

“Behold, the DAYS come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a FAMINE in the land, not a FAMINE of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD: 12 and they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east,they shall run to and fro to SEEK THE WORD of the Lord, and shall NOT FIND IT. 13 In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst” Amos 8:11-13. 

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do ERR (MISTAKEN, ERROR), not KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES, nor the POWER of God” Matthew 22:29. 

Dear friend, are you living in a spiritual drought? 

Are you desiring the Word of the Lord that leads to daily salvation and deliverance [Romans 10:8-13] but it seems all you see around to feed from are fables, dogmas, sectarianism, traditions, methods, creeds, shows and self-created denominational doctrines? [Matthew 15:1-6; 1 Peter 1:17-20] 

And worse, when you can’t find the principles of the Word and the process, instead you see craft, fraud and scams to extort you in the grace? [Philippians 1:15-18] 

It is time to do something about the drought of the hearing of God’s Word, for your own good — as an antidote to restore healthy spiritual sensitivity in the grace [Galatians 1:6-9; Jude 1:3-4; 1 Timothy 1:18-20]. [famine] 

And you need to know that you can’t blame people or anyone about your spiritual drought when there are opportunities of being informed, as you are now reading, to safeguard against errors and being mistaken in the faith. Also, to make you do something about your spiritual well-being in the grace, as you desire to do life and live godly by the WORD, in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

Your becoming for today and tomorrow is within your decision — and you need to make it happen in the grace without blaming anyone. You have been given the opportunity in the grace to stop every form and signal of spiritual drought about you. [famine] 

Don’t live in SPIRITUAL DROUGHT, I beg you — it will short-circuit your path in DOING life and LIVING godly in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

There is nothing as dangerous and deadly as FAMINE — be it physical or spiritual. 

FAMINE is the extreme: scarcity, shortage, drought, unavailability, lack, insufficiency, undersupply, deficiency, impoverishment, shortfalls and such like, of the basic necessity of life — e.g. FOOD — resulting in HUNGER, whose consequences are unprecedented fatalities.  

“MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED for LACK OF KNOWLEDGE: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children” [Hosea 4:6]. 

“Therefore MY PEOPLE ARE GONE INTO CAPTIVITY, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. 14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. 15 And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled” [Isaiah 5:13-15]. 

In life we know how people suffer and die in horrible conditions when there is physical famine. We don’t have to look far to see the dire physical hunger and needs in our NEIGHBOURHOOD, COMMUNITIES, SOCIETY, NATION and WORLD today. 

Hunger as a result of FAMINE is a severe and terrible condition for anyone to experience. Yet, many in our WORLDS are suffering and dying daily as a result of this monster called — FAMINE. 

Unfortunately today, many do not fully know and realize that SPIRITUAL FAMINE does exist. And there are implications of its existence in one’s life and in our society and world. It could even be the DE FACTO cause of the physical condition we experience today as INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY, SOCIETY and NATION. 

A SPIRITUAL FAMINE indicates NO SPIRITUAL FOOD, or insufficient and inadequate provision, resulting in severe hunger — leading to spiritual suffering and or death. 

NO FOOD means NO WORD, which is the FOOD of the SPIRITUAL man — the spirit being. 

The man in HUMAN [Hu-Man] is a being, that is, a spirit being [subconscious place], has a soul [conscious mind, reasoning faculty, will] and lives in a body [physique, physical structure].  

A NO WORD for the human wellbeing means a NO FAITH. 
And a NO FAITH is consequential. For FAITH comes by the HEARING of the WORD of God [Romans 10:17], which means with NO WORD, then NO FAITH, and with NO FAITH — none can PLEASE God [Hebrews 11:6], and not pleasing God makes one vulnerable to the enemy and cohorts of our faith in the grace [Proverbs 16:7]. 

And to live a life wherein God is not PLEASED with you, and rather, you can’t PLEASE God for lack of faith by the Word is sinful and has consequences [Romans 14:23]. 
And such consequences could be dire and result in fatalities just as physical hunger does [Amos 8:11-14; Genesis 41-47]. 

One of such consequences is to have no MEANINGFUL nourishment and fulfilment in LIFE and GODLY LIVING with God as a result of NO FELLOWSHIP to enhance one’s RELATIONSHIP with GOD. 
It takes FAITH to FELLOWSHIP with God. For we are CALLED to FELLOWSHIP with God in order to ENHANCE our RELATIONSHIP with Him, for therein is the PATH OF LIFE [1 Corinthians 1:9; Psalms 16:11; Romans 8:28-30; Ephesians 1:11]. 

When one is IMPOVERISHED and MALNOURISHED within one’s being, there’s no amount of WEALTH and PHYSICAL POSSESSION that can FULFIL such emptiness within [Luke 12:15]. 

And there is no scientific or medical act — as SCAN, X-RAY, STETHOSCOPE, CHEMOTHERAPY and such like — that can and will be able to detect the essence of the human spirit that makes man a being. 
For God has put a default of ETERNITY in the human spirit with which, in His infinite nature, only He can sense every being [Ecclesiastes 3:11/Amplified; Proverbs 20:27; Job 32:8; Job 33:4]. 

Therefore, SPIRITUAL FAMINE as with PHYSICAL FAMINE has consequences. 
And with RESOLUTION and an ANSWER to SPIRITUAL FAMINE, PHYSICAL FAMINE can be RESOLVED effortlessly in grace [2 Chronicles 7:12-15]. 
For GOD will ensure that FAMINE OF ALL SORTS are RESOLVED for the good of all [Psalms 33:18-20; Psalms 37:18-19; Genesis 26:1-14; Psalms 105:16-24/Genesis 41-47]. 

It’s time to RESOLVE to give yourself to FEED HEALTHILY on the WORD of God — firstly on a PERSONAL level and from other platforms and ONLINE opportunities — in order to avoid FAMINE. 

More so, to triumphantly thrive and be meaningfully fulfilled over any form of FAMINE that may tend to affect you in LIFE, GRACE and GODLY LIVING [Job 23:12; 2 Timothy 2:15; 2 Timothy 3:14-17; Matthew 22:29; Jeremiah 15:16; Psalms 1:1-3]. 

Don’t live in SPIRITUAL DROUGHT — it will short-circuit your PATH IN LIFE and GODLY LIVING in the grace. 

THE SPIRITUAL IMPACT OF THE FAMINE OF HEARING THE WORD IS ENORMOUS AND INDESCRIBABLE. 

Therefore, with many facing ENORMOUS life challenges and circumstances which are as a result of THE FAMINE OF THE HEARING OF THE WORD, there is the need to be built up in FAITH. And the need to kick-start your own avenue on a personal level is now — to THE HEARING OF THE WORD in order to STEADFASTLY RESIST IN THE FAITH the FEAR of the monster that has befallen or is intending, long before it gets to your vicinity [Amos 8:11-14]. 

It’s time to feed HEALTHILY your spirit and wellbeing with the living WORD in order to STEADFASTLY RESIST IN FAITH the fear of the monster that has gripped and crippled the world’s health and economy to a standstill and downward curve for a while now [1 Peter 5:8-11]. 

And when you feed healthily, our God of all wisdom, speed and love will make you perfect — complete, whole, full — establish, strengthen and settle you in life and grace in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

“And I will GIVE you pastors according to mine heart, which shall FEED you with KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING” Jeremiah 3:15.

“Wherewithal shall a young man CLEANSE his way? by taking heed thereto ACCORDING to THY WORD . . . 105 Thy Word is a LAMP unto my FEET, and a LIGHT unto my PATH . . .130 The ENTRANCE of THY WORDS giveth LIGHT; it giveth UNDERSTANDING unto the SIMPLE” Psalms 119:9, 105, 130. 

“STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED unto God, a WORKMAN that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING [APPLYING] the word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15/Emphasis Mine. 

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 whom RESIST STEDFAST IN THE FAITH, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, MAKE YOU PERFECT, STABLISH, STRENGTHEN, SETTLE YOU. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. “But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 and that from a child thou hast KNOWN the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is PROFITABLE for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be PERFECT [COMPLETE, WHOLE, MATURED], throughly furnished unto all good works” 2 Timothy 3:14-17/Emphasis mine. 

“Thy WORDS WERE FOUND, and I did EAT them; and thy WORD was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts” Jeremiah 15:16. 

SUMMARY: 
From the message we learnt that spiritual famine is real, dangerous, and already happening. It is a drought of hearing the pure Word of God [Amos 8:11-13]. Just as physical famine destroys the body, spiritual famine destroys faith, fellowship, purpose, and destiny. The only antidote is to personally and intentionally FEED on the Word of God to build faith and resist the enemy. 

KEY POINTS OF THE MESSAGE 

  1. THE REALITY OF SPIRITUAL FAMINE [Amos 8:11-14]

God warned of a coming famine — “not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD” [Amos 8:11-13]. 
People will run to and fro seeking the Word and not find it. The result is young men and women fainting for thirst. 
Jesus also warned: “Ye do ERR, not KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES, nor the POWER of God” [Matthew 22:29]. 

  1. SIGNSYOUARE IN SPIRITUAL DROUGHT 
    Wrong Feeding: Feeding on fables, dogmas, sectarianism, traditions, creeds, shows, and self-created denominational doctrines [Matthew 15:1-6; 1 Peter 1:17-20]. 
    Exploitation: Instead of principles and process of the Word, you see craft, fraud and scams to extort in the name of grace [Philippians 1:15-18]. 
    No Growth: Lack of healthy spiritual sensitivity, knowledge and understanding [Galatians 1:6-9; Jude 1:3-4; 1 Timothy 1:18-20]. 

You cannot blame others. The opportunity to be informed is before you now. Your becoming today and tomorrow is your decision in the grace.  

  1. WHY SPIRITUAL FAMINE IS DEADLY

FAMINE means scarcity, lack, insufficiency, impoverishment. Physically it leads to hunger and death, spiritually it is worse. 

NO WORD = NO FAITH 
“FAITH cometh by HEARING, and HEARING by the WORD of God” [Romans 10:17]. 
With no faith, you cannot PLEASE God [Hebrews 11:6], and you become vulnerable to the enemy [Proverbs 16:7]. Living without pleasing God is sinful and has consequences [Romans 14:23]. 

NO FELLOWSHIP = NO RELATIONSHIP 
We are CALLED to FELLOWSHIP with God to ENHANCE our RELATIONSHIP with Him, for therein is the PATH OF LIFE [1 Corinthians 1:9; Psalms 16:11]. 
Without the Word, there is no meaningful nourishment or fulfilment [Luke 12:15]. 

DESTRUCTION & CAPTIVITY 
“MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED for LACK OF KNOWLEDGE” [Hosea 4:6]. 
“MY PEOPLE ARE GONE INTO CAPTIVITY, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE” [Isaiah 5:13-15]. 

SPIRITUAL MALNOURISHMENT 
Man is spirit, has a soul, and lives in a body. God put ETERNITY in the human spirit [Ecclesiastes 3:11/Amplified; Proverbs 20:27]. No wealth, science, or medicine can feed that emptiness. Only the Word can.
THE SOLUTION: RESOLVE TO FEED ON THE WORD

Spiritual famine must be answered first. When spiritual famine is resolved, even physical famine can be resolved in grace [2 Chronicles 7:12-15; Psalms 33:18-20; Genesis 26:1-14]. 

HOW TO RESPOND NOW: 

PERSONAL FEEDING: Give yourself to FEED HEALTHILY on the WORD on a personal level [Job 23:12; Jeremiah 15:16; Psalms 1:1-3]. 

RIGHT TEACHING: God will give pastors after His heart to FEED you with KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING [Jeremiah 3:15]. 

STUDY & APPLICATION: “STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED unto God, a WORKMAN that… RIGHTLY DIVIDING the word of truth” [2 Timothy 2:15]. 
Scripture is PROFITABLE for doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction [2 Timothy 3:14-17]. 

STEADFAST RESISTANCE: Feed your spirit to “RESIST STEDFAST IN THE FAITH” against the fear and attacks of the enemy [1 Peter 5:8-11; Amos 8:11-14]. The Word is a LAMP, LIGHT, and UNDERSTANDING [Psalms 119:9, 105, 130]. 

  1. THE PROMISE

When you feed healthily on the living Word, God of all wisdom, speed and love will “MAKE YOU PERFECT, STABLISH, STRENGTHEN, SETTLE YOU” [1 Peter 5:8-11]. Complete, whole, and furnished for every good work. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS FOR PONDERING 

  1. Jeremiah 3:15 — God will give pastors to FEED you with KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING. 
  2. Amos 8:11-14 — The famine of hearing the Word is coming. People will faint for thirst. 
  3. Romans 10:17 — FAITH comes by HEARING the WORD. 
  4. Job 23:12 — Esteem God’s Words more than necessary food. 
  5. Psalms 119:105, 130 — The Word is LAMP, LIGHT, and gives UNDERSTANDING. 
  6. 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:14-17 — Study, be approved, and be thoroughly furnished. 
  7. 1 Peter 5:8-11 — Resist the devil steadfast in faith. God will perfect and settle you.

FINAL CHARGE: 
Don’t die of spiritual hunger. The Word is food. Feed yourself daily, build your faith, and you will not faint when famine comes.

THE ENTRANCE OF THE WORD

THE ENTRANCE OF THE WORD: ENABLES GLOWING, REFRESHING AND REJUVENATING IN GRACE . . . And SHINING In GLORY! 

“THY WORD is a lamp unto my feet, and a LIGHT unto my path. . . 130 THE ENTRANCE OF THY WORDS GIVETH LIGHT; it giveth UNDERSTANDING unto the simple” Psalms 119:105, 130. 

Light is and will always be superior to darkness at any point of manifestation. Meaning it is by the amount of light you let into your life that outshines the darkness about you. And this light is as a result of The WORD of the Lord God you’ve allowed to flood into your being. For more WORD gives more LIGHT that outshine darkness at any level. And Jesus is THE WORD – and His fulness in you will give the enabling to keep you GLOWING, REFRESHING and BLOSSOMING in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in Him. 1 John 5:7; John 1:1-5, 14. 

It’s written in the Holy Writ that “The ENTRANCE of thy WORDS giveth LIGHT; it giveth UNDERSTANDING unto the SIMPLE” (Psalms 119:130). If The WORD does not have an entrance into you, surely there would be darkness or works of darkness about you to deal with. You can’t live beyond the amount of the LIGHT you have of God – Psalms 119:105; for the just shall live by his faith in the light of The Word – Habakkuk 2:4. And the Word shines in darkness and darkness cannot outshine, overcome and comprehend it – John 1:1-5. 

Wisdom as a result of the knowledge and understanding of The Word, makes a man’s face to shine and the boldness of his face shall be changed from glory to glory by the Spirit of The Lord – Ecclesiastes 8:1; 2 Corinthians 3:18; and this breathed inspiration, revelation and empowerment of The Spirit enables us to do life with understanding and without sweat and stress – Job 32:8; Job 33:4. 

Today! Give The Word of God an entrance by inclining to His sayings, you will break-forth into wholeness and your path shall shine more and more brighter until the dawn of a new you in a perfect day with God – Proverbs 4:18, 20-22. The WORD Makes WHOLE and gives the enabling for our glowing and refreshing in God’s graciousness and gracefulness. 

For in God, light will always illuminate OUT of darkness no matter the strength of that darkness. God does not shine light UPON darkness but instead allows light to outshine OUT OF darkness. In that which you considered or have considered to be full of darkness, God will by the WORD, cause light to shine OUT OF it. 2 Corinthians 4:6; Genesis 1: 1-5. 

Therefore, don’t be afraid of the dark or darkness when you are flooded with the WORD in your INNER being. For the beauty, glory, glowing and refreshing of the light within you is made known in the darkest of the darkness about you. 

 The DARKER the DARKNESS, the BRIGHTER the LIGHT by the WORD.

“For God, who commanded the LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS, hath SHINED in our HEARTS, to GIVE the LIGHT OF THE KNOWLEDGE of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” 2 Corinthians 4:6. 

“THY WORD is a lamp unto my feet, and a LIGHT unto my path. . . 130 THE ENTRANCE OF THY WORDS GIVETH LIGHT; it giveth UNDERSTANDING unto the simple” Psalms 119:105, 130.

SUMMARY: 

This message declares that our transformation, health, wisdom, and victory are directly tied to the measure of God’s WORD we let into our inner being. Jesus IS THE WORD, and His light in us cannot be overcome by darkness.

  • WISDOM — a man’s WISDOM maketh his FACE TO SHINE [Ecclesiastes 8:1] 
  • UNDERSTANDING WITHOUT STRESS — The Spirit gives inspiration to do life with understanding and without sweat [Job 32:8; Job 33:4] 
  1. THE WORD MAKES WHOLE AND GIVES LIFE

The DARKER the DARKNESS, the BRIGHTER the LIGHT by the WORD. 
In whatever you considered full of darkness, God by THE WORD will cause LIGHT to shine OUT OF it. [Genesis 1:1-5]

CALL TO ACTION

  2. DON’T FEAR THE DARKNESS — When you are flooded with THE WORD, the beauty and glory of the light within you is made known in the darkest places ABOUT you. 
  3. BREAK FORTH INTO WHOLENESS — Let the Word make you whole. Pursue glowing, refreshing and shining in His grace. 
  4. LIVE BY THE LIGHT — Remember: You can’t live beyond the amount of the LIGHT you have of God. So, keep feeding on THE WORD.
