EXPERIENCING SPIRITUAL FAMINE IN THE GRACE: HAVE FAITH IN GOD’S WORD TO OVERCOME!  

One major effect and resultant of spiritual famine is physical famine. 
And if you leave it unchecked, the dire effects are unpredictable and unimaginable. 

So, do not give room or wait to learn from experience — especially when you know you are not in faith, meaning, not in fellowship by the Holy Spirit and not being governed by the word of grace in the faith. 

Do not learn from experience. Build up your faith by THE WORD, so that by the process, you can BECOME what you want to be in the grace in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

SELAH – Pause And Think. 

SCRIPTURAL FOOD FOR THOUGHTS: 

“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not BURDENSOME [GRIEVOUS, TASKMASTER, IRKSOME]. For whatever is born of God OVERCOMES the world. And this is the victory that has OVERCOME the world—our FAITH. Who is he who OVERCOMES the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:3-5/NKJV/Emphasis Mine. 

“Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, 19 To DELIVER their soul from death, And TO KEEP THEM ALIVE IN FAMINE” Psalms NKJV. 

“The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. 19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of FAMINE they shall be SATISFIED” Psalms 37:18-19/NKJV. 

“And they OVERCAME him by THE BLOOD of the Lamb, and by THE WORD of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death” Revelation 12:11. 

“But [as surely as] God is faithful and means what He says, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No” [at the same time]. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, by me, Silvanus, and Timothy, was not “Yes” and “No,” but has proved to be “Yes” in Him [true and faithful, the divine “Yes” affirming God’s promises]. 20 For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] “YES.” So through Him we say our “AMEN” to the glory of God. 21 Now it is God who establishes and confirms us [in joint fellowship] with you in Christ, and who has anointed us [empowering us with the gifts of the Spirit]; 22 it is He who has also put His seal on us [that is, He has appropriated us and certified us as His] and has given us the [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as a pledge [like a security deposit to guarantee the fulfillment of His promise of eternal life]” 2 Corinthians 1:18-22/Amplified. 
 
SUMMARY 
The message is a warning against SPIRITUAL FAMINE and a call to overcome it by FAITH IN GOD’S WORD. It teaches that unchecked spiritual famine leads to physical famine, but God DELIVERS, SATISFIES and KEEPS ALIVE those who hope in Him. The victory over famine and the world is through FAITH, THE WORD, and THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, established in Christ Jesus’ stead.

Key Points: 

  1. SPIRITUAL FAMINE LEADS TO PHYSICAL FAMINE 
    “One major effect and resultant of spiritual famine is physical famine. And if you leave it unchecked, the dire effects are unpredictable and unimaginable.” 
    Being out of faith means: not in fellowship by the Holy Spirit and not being governed by the word of grace in the faith.
  2. DO NOT LEARN FROM EXPERIENCE, BUILD BY THE WORD 
    “Do not give room or wait to learn from experience… Do not learn from experience. Build up your faith by THE WORD, so that by the process, you can BECOME what you want to be in the grace in Christ Jesus’ stead.” 
    Faith is built intentionally, not through painful trial and error.
  3. FAITH IN GOD’S WORD BRINGS VICTORY AND OVERCOMING 
    “For whatever is born of God OVERCOMES the world. And this is the victory that has OVERCOME the world—our FAITH” 1 John 5:4-5. 
    “And they OVERCAME him by THE BLOOD of the Lamb, and by THE WORD of their testimony” Revelation 12:11.
  4. GOD’S PROMISE IN TIMES OF FAMINE 
    DELIVERANCE: “To DELIVER their soul from death, And TO KEEP THEM ALIVE IN FAMINE” Psalms 33:18-19. 
    SATISFACTION: “And in the days of FAMINE they shall be SATISFIED” Psalms 37:18-19. 
    God watches over those who fear Him and hope in His mercy. 
    GOD IS FAITHFUL TO HIS WORD 
    “For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] “YES.” So through Him we say our “AMEN” to the glory of God” 2 Corinthians 1:20 Amplified. 
    God establishes, anoints, seals and gives the Holy Spirit as a pledge. His commandments are not BURDENSOME 1 John 5:3.  

Call to Action: 

  1. RECOGNISE AND REJECT SPIRITUAL FAMINE: Do not stay in a place of no fellowship, no Holy Spirit governance, and no word of grace. Address it before it produces physical effects.
  2. BUILD YOUR FAITH BY THE WORD: Intentionally feed on THE WORD daily. Let it govern you so you BECOME what you are meant to be in grace. 
  3. PLACE YOUR HOPE IN GOD’S MERCY: Fear the Lord and hope in His mercy. He will DELIVER from death and SATISFY you even in famine. 
  4. OVERCOME BY FAITH, BLOOD AND TESTIMONY: Stand on the promises of God — all are “YES” in Christ. Overcome the world and the enemy by faith and by the Word of your testimony.

BEING ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH

BEING ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH: THAT IS FAITH IN THE FAITH – TO BEAUTIFY AND COLOUR YOUR WORLDS! 

We live in a gracious and graceful time of human history with God, in spite of the challenges and difficult times in the world. 

Unfortunately, lots of supposedly Believers in Christ Jesus keep making unwarranted noise about their inability to enjoy the BLESSEDNESS of the FAITH, while in essence, they are not even ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH. 

You cannot have Faith in the FAITH that you are not intentionally committed to be established in, and still expect to be Blessed in God’s BLESSEDNESS in it. 
God does no magic. He only COMMENDS what He COMMANDS; and His COMMANDS are INSTRUCTIONS and not ADVICE that you PICK and CHOOSE as in a cherry garden. 

Just as you cannot work in the National Postal Service and its wage rating and then expect to go and collect wages from the Civil Service pension pot, no matter how much interest you show towards it. 

A lot of Christians are living in one of these three: FAITH, PRESUMPTION, FOOLISHNESS [IGNORANCE]. 
It is either you are living by FAITH IN THE FAITH, or you are living in PRESUMPTION and FOOLISHNESS [IGNORANCE] IN THE FAITH. 
The last two will not guarantee you the BLESSEDNESS of God in the Faith. 

There is therefore the need now for you to consciously and intentionally make effort to see that you get yourself ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH, to ensure you are fulfilled, living purposefully and meaningfully in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

Faith in the done and finished deed of God in Christ Jesus gives you access to being ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH. 
And when you are established in the Faith, it becomes easier to be OBEDIENT TO THE FAITH. And by being OBEDIENT TO THE FAITH, it becomes easier to COMMUNICATE THE FAITH. And COMMUNICATING THE FAITH makes it gracious to beautify and colour your world in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; 10 making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you. 11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be ESTABLISHED; 12 that is, that I may be comforted together with you by the MUTUAL FAITH both of you and me” Romans 1:9-12. 

“Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek: 2 which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium. 3 Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek. 4 And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem. 5 And so were the churches ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH, and increased in number daily” Acts 16:1-5. 

“And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were OBEDIENT TO THE FAITH” Acts 6:7. 

“. . . 5 by whom we have received grace and apostleship, for OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH among all nations, for his name: 6 among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ” Romans 1:5-6. 

“I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, 5 hearing of thy LOVE and FAITH, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; 6 that the COMMUNICATION OF THY FAITH may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:4-6. 

“And the TIMES OF THIS IGNORANCE God WINKED (OVERLOOKED) at; but now COMMANDETH all men every where to REPENT (Change of heart attitude/behaviour): 31 because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will JUDGE the world IN RIGHTEOUSNESS by that man whom he hath ORDAINED; whereof he hath GIVEN ASSURANCE unto all men, in that he hath RAISED him from the dead” Acts 17:30-31. 

SUMMARY: 
The message is a charge for every Believer to be ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH — which is FAITH IN THE FAITH — so that we can be OBEDIENT TO THE FAITH, COMMUNICATE THE FAITH, and beautify and colour our worlds in Christ Jesus, enjoying God’s BLESSEDNESS instead of noise and presumption. 

KEY POINTS 

  1. THE PROBLEM: NOISE WITHOUT ESTABLISHMENT
    We live in a gracious and graceful time with God despite the challenges and difficult times in the world.
    Yet many supposedly Believers keep making unwarranted noise about not enjoying the BLESSEDNESS of the FAITH, when in reality they are not even ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH. 
    You cannot expect to be blessed in God’s BLESSEDNESS in a FAITH you are not intentionally committed to being established in. 
     
  2. GOD’S PRINCIPLE: COMMAND NOT ADVICE

  3. THE 3 STATES CHRISTIANS LIVE IN

    It is either you are living by FAITH IN THE FAITH, or you are living in PRESUMPTION and FOOLISHNESS [IGNORANCE] IN THE FAITH. 
    The last two will not guarantee you the BLESSEDNESS of God in the Faith. Acts 17:30-31 says the times of IGNORANCE God overlooked but now COMMANDS all men everywhere to repent. 
     
  4. THE PATHWAY: ESTABLISHED – OBEDIENT – COMMUNICATING
    Step 1: ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH
    Faith in the done and finished deed of God in Christ Jesus gives you access to being ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH. Paul’s desire was to impart a spiritual gift to the end that they may be ESTABLISHED — Romans 1:9-12. 
    The churches were ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH, and increased in number daily — Acts 16:1-5. 

Step 2: OBEDIENT TO THE FAITH 
When you are established in the Faith, it becomes easier to be OBEDIENT TO THE FAITH. 
A great company of priests were OBEDIENT TO THE FAITH — Acts 6:7. 
We have received grace and apostleship for OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH among all nations — Romans 1:5-6. 

Step 3: COMMUNICATING THE FAITH 
And by being OBEDIENT TO THE FAITH, it becomes easier to COMMUNICATE THE FAITH. 
That the COMMUNICATION OF THY FAITH may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus — Philemon 1:4-6. 
And COMMUNICATING THE FAITH makes it gracious to beautify and colour your world in Christ Jesus’ stead.

  1. THE GOAL: BLESSEDNESS AND PURPOSE
    There is therefore the need now for you to consciously and intentionally make effort to get yourself ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH, to ensure you are fulfilled, living purposefully and meaningfully in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

CALL TO ACTION 

  1. EXAMINE YOUR STATE TODAY
    Ask: Am I in FAITH, PRESUMPTION, or FOOLISHNESS [IGNORANCE]?
    Stop complaining about lack of BLESSEDNESS and check your level of establishment.
  2. GET ESTABLISHED INTENTIONALLY
    Root yourself in the done and finished work of Christ.
    Seek spiritual impartation, sound teaching, and fellowship that builds you — Romans 1:11-12. 
    Refuse to treat God’s Word like options in a market.
  3. MOVE TO OBEDIENCE
    Establishment must lead to OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH. Acts 6:7
    Obey instructions fully, not partially. God COMMANDS, He does not suggest.
  4. COMMUNICATE THE FAITH BOLDLY
    Let your life, testimony and service cause the COMMUNICATION OF THY FAITH to become effectual — Philemon 1:4-6.
    This is how you beautify and colour your family, workplace and community for Christ.
  5. REJECT IGNORANCE AND REPENT
    God COMMANDS all men everywhere to repent — Acts 17:30-31.
    Leave presumption and ignorance. Step into establishment, and you will step into BLESSEDNESS.

Final Charge: 
BE ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH. BE OBEDIENT TO THE FAITH. COMMUNICATE THE FAITH. 
That is how you enjoy God’s BLESSEDNESS and colour your world. Amen!

HAVE FAITH IN GOD’S FAITHFULNESS

“HAVE FAITH IN GOD’S FAITHFULNESS”: FOR GOD IS FAITHFUL IN HIS FAITHFULNESS – IT IS HIS BEING AND HIS NATURE! 

“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy FAITHFULNESS to all generations. 2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy FAITHFULNESS shalt thou establish in the very heavens. 3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, 4 thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. 5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy FAITHFULNESS also in the congregation of the saints . . .” Psalms 89:1-52. 

One thing is certain in life and grace, that is – LIKE BEGATS LIKE. A tree doesn’t give birth to an animal or mammal. A Lion doesn’t give birth to a Leopard or Tiger. Nor does a goat give birth to a sheep or ram, even with their proximity in likeness or characteristics. And if anyone wants to be godlike – as the Scriptures enjoin – one needs to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD’S FAITHFULNESS”, for as He is, so are we in this world as written: 

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have BOLDNESS in the day of judgment: BECAUSE AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. 18 There is no FEAR in love; but PERFECT love CASTETH out fear: because fear hath torment. He that FEARETH is not made PERFECT in love” 1 John 4:17-18. 

One needs to know full well that WE ARE the OFFSPRING OF GOD, the SHEEP OF HIS PASTURE according to the Holy Scriptures – [(Acts 17:24-29; Psalms 100:3; 1 John 4:17-18); (John 10:34-35; Psalms 82:6; Genesis 3:5)]. It then means that we CAN live a FAITHFUL life and achieve GOOD SUCCESS with God when we dare to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD’S FAITHFULNESS” for us in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

“O Lord, thou art my God; I will EXALT thee, I will PRAISE thy name; for thou hast done WONDERFUL things; thy COUNSELS of old are FAITHFULNESS and TRUTH” Isaiah 25:1. 

The other reason we can achieve SUCCESS is because we are the SEED OF ABRAHAM – who was FAITHFUL to ‘HAVE IN GOD’S FAITHFULNESS’ and therein prospered when he dared. The same enabling GRACE to be FAITHFUL to ‘HAVE IN GOD’S FAITHFULNESS’ is available to us today when we dare. And it is irrespective of any of our challenges toward being FAITHFUL and to then PROSPER in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. [2 Peter 1:2-4; Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29. (See Genesis 13:2; 24:1)]. 

Our God is the FAITHFUL GOD – that is His NATURE and His BEING. He is the God of FAITHFULNESS – He lives within Himself – it is His NATURE and His BEING. And as such, in achieving life’s goals with God in Christ Jesus’ stead, it would be great for you to have FAITH in the  NATURE G.U. OF GOD, regarding FAITHFULNESS as found of Him in the Holy writ: 

  1. God is FAITHFUL to Himself in FAITHFULNESS. 2 Timothy 2:13. 
  2. God is FAITHFUL to His Word and promises in His FAITHFULNESS. Hebrews 10:23. 
  3. God is FAITHFUL to His covenant relationship in His FAITHFULNESS. 1 Corinthians 1:9; Hebrews 8:28-30. 
  4. God is FAITHFUL to forgive in His FAITHFULNESS. 1 John 1:9 (5-10). 
  5. God is FAITHFUL in covenant agreement in His FAITHFULNESS. Deuteronomy 7:9. 
  6. God is FAITHFUL to establish and deliver in His FAITHFULNESS. 1 Corinthians 10:13, 2 Thessalonians 3:3. 
  7. God is FAITHFUL to accomplish His part in the assignment that He gives to us in His FAITHFULNESS. 1 Thessalonians 5:24. 
  8. God is the and a FAITHFUL creator in His FAITHFULNESS. 1 Peter 4:19. 
  9. . . .. and many more of His FAITHFULNESS as recorded in the Holy Writ . . . Kindly read the HOLY BIBLE to know the more. 

Considering the above-mentioned NATURE OF GOD in being FAITHFUL, you can BANK ON HIS FAITHFULNESS in His GRACE and BLESSEDNESS concerning all things about LIFE and GODLINESS. This will give you the enabling LEVERAGE to abound the more in SHARING and PARTAKING of His promises in the REDEMPTION DEED, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

“And Jesus saith unto them, HAVE FAITH IN GOD” Mark 11:22. 

“God is FAITHFUL, by whom ye were CALLED unto the FELLOWSHIP of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:9. 

“Let us HOLD FAST the PROFESSION [DECLARATION, CONFESSION, PROCLAMATION, ANNOUNCEMENT] of our FAITH without wavering; for He is FAITHFUL that PROMISED” Hebrews 10:23/Emphasis Mine. 

“FAITHFUL is He that CALLETH you, who also will DO it” 1 Thessalonians 5:24.

SUMMARY 

The message is:  “HAVE FAITH IN GOD’S FAITHFULNESS” 
God’s very NATURE and BEING is FAITHFULNESS. Because He is FAITHFUL, we who are His OFFSPRING, SHEEP OF HIS PASTURE, and SEED OF ABRAHAM can BANK ON HIM to live a FAITHFUL life, achieve GOOD SUCCESS, and PARTAKE of every promise in the REDEMPTION DEED in Christ Jesus’ stead.

  1. GOD’S NATURE IS FAITHFULNESS

    God is FAITHFUL to Himself, to His Word, to His Covenant, to forgive, to establish, to deliver, to assignments, and as our FAITHFUL Creator. FAITHFULNESS is who He is. 
  2. THE LAW OF REPRODUCTION: LIKE BEGATS LIKE 
    1 John 4:17-18 
    A tree cannot birth an animal. Because we are OFFSPRING OF GOD and SEED OF ABRAHAM, we are wired to walk in FAITHFULNESS as He is. “AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD.”

    We are the OFFSPRING OF GOD and the SHEEP OF HIS PASTURE. We are CALLED into FELLOWSHIP with His Son. This identity means we can live above fear and walk in BOLDNESS. 
  4. THE GRACE TO BE FAITHFUL IS AVAILABLE NOW

    When we BANK ON HIS FAITHFULNESS, we get the LEVERAGE to ABOUND, to SHARE, and to PARTAKE of His EXCEEDING GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES. He who began a good work in you WILL PERFORM IT.

  1. DARE TO “HAVE FAITH IN GOD’S FAITHFULNESS”
    Stop walking by the senses. Mark 11:22 — “HAVE FAITH IN GOD.” Anchor your heart, decisions, and confession on His NATURE not your circumstances.
  2. HOLD FAST YOUR PROFESSION
    Hebrews 10:23 — Declare it with your mouth. Sing it. Proclaim it to all generations: “GOD IS FAITHFUL!” Psalm 89:1
  3. WALK IN YOUR IDENTITY
    You are GOD’S OFFSPRING and ABRAHAM’S SEED. Reject fear. Walk in BOLDNESS and PERFECT LOVE because AS HE IS, SO ARE WE. 1 John 4:17-18
  4. BE DILIGENT AND NOT SLOTHFUL
    Hebrews 6:10-12 — Show the same diligence to the FULL ASSURANCE OF HOPE. God is not unrighteous to forget your WORK and LABOUR OF LOVE.

EXAMINE YOUR FAITH – DON’T BLAME GOD: DO YOUR SELF-ASSESSMENT CHECKLIST TODAY! 

“EXAMINE YOURSELVES, WHETHER YE BE IN THE FAITH; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be REPROBATES?” 2 Corinthians 13:5. 

SELF-ASSESSMENT saves. SELF-APPRAISAL delivers and secures one from embarrassing oneself in the public domain. 

It is a daily medicine of examining one’s faith in any context of doing life and living godly. It is enriching in our journey to fulfil God’s plan, purpose and pursuit for our lives. 

“But let a man EXAMINE himself . . .” 1 Corinthians 11:28. 

More so, it is high time for you to FEED YOUR FAITH and STARVE YOUR DOUBTS to enable God’s WORD to WORK for your good in LIFE and GRACE, as you give your EARS to the HEARING of the WORD of FAITH in order to thrive in life and godliness in Christ Jesus’ stead [Amos 8:11-14; Romans 10:8-10, 17; Proverbs 4:20-23]. 

If ‘FAITH’, which is the DEFAULT, LEGAL and VITAL TENDER to please, relate to and obtain God’s attention, COMES by the hearing of ‘THE WORD’, which is of God, it thus means: NO HEARING of THE WORD of God, means NO ‘FAITH’; and NO FAITH, means NO ACTIVATION can take place as expected to PLEASE God scripturally [Amos 8:11-14; Hebrews 11:6]. 

So, if I may ask, are you hearing and listening to THE WORD? [John 1:1-5; 1 John 5:7; Romans 10:8]. 
What WORD are you listening to? 
What WORD are you hearing? 
What WORD are you giving your attention to? 
What sort of information are you FEEDING your spirit-being with? 
Is it God who is SPEAKING or SAYING His WORD to you, or otherwise? [Proverbs 4:20-23; Romans 10:8-10]. 

You had better check it out, otherwise you may end up making God’s Word of NO EFFECT for your good, because of your TRADITIONS through IGNORANCE. 

“Making THE WORD of God of NONE EFFECT through your TRADITION, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye” Mark 7:13. 

Are you held bound by TRADITION and IGNORANCE? Yes — meaning held bound by our self-made culture, make-believe, dogmas, religiosity, religion and religious prejudice, and man-made creed, philosophy and indulgence, and more, which contradict God’s WORD — the basis for formulating our FAITH in God in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

So, EXAMINE your FAITH before you lay blame on God, as some do when at crossroads and under crossfire. 

Feed your FAITH and starve your DOUBTS to enable God’s WORD to WORK for your good and for your good name. [2 Corinthians 13:5] 

Be BLESSED in Christ. Amen.

  4. REJECT TRADITION THAT NULLIFIES THE WORD: Identify self-made culture, dogmas and religious prejudice in your life. Choose the SURE WORD over man-made creeds [Mark 7:13].
  5. BELIEVE AND ACTIVATE: Remember, WITHOUT FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God [Hebrews 11:6]. Act on what you hear so God’s WORD can WORK for your good.

So many of us have spent seasons chasing what we were only ever meant to attract. 
We have run after breakthrough, after favour, after the very things Scripture calls butterflies — restless, exhausting pursuit, always a few steps behind the very thing we long to hold. 

But September is not asking you to run faster. 
It is asking you to grow deeper, to mature and to become fruitful in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

Create the garden — through grace, through the knowledge of Christ Jesus, through the slow and steady work of a life rooted in Him — 
and in time, without striving, without sweat, without burnout, the butterflies will come and settle. 
The bees will come to pollinate your work and your working, in the grace. 

What you once chased will simply arrive, because you finally became the kind of ground it could not resist. 

“But GROW in the GRACE and KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen” 2 Peter 3:18. 

It is my earnest prayer that in this month of September 2026 and onwards, GROWTH, MATURITY AND FRUITFULNESS in the grace and knowledge of God become our watchword — the quiet, daily tending that will eventually bring forth the butterflies you have been longing for in Christ Jesus. 

It is on this note that I have entitled this month’s theme: GROWING IN THE GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST JESUS.

INCLINE YOUR EARS TO HEAR GOD: ONLY THE HEARING OF FAITH PLEASES GOD! 

“My son, attend to my words; INCLINE THINE EAR unto my SAYINGS. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and HEALTH to all their FLESH” Proverbs 4:20-22. 

“. . . 22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, HAVE FAITH IN GOD . . .” Mark 11:11-14, 20-24. 

“So then FAITH cometh by HEARING, and HEARING by the WORD of God” Romans 10:17. 

IT IS TIME TO HEAR GOD FOR YOURSELF; IT WILL SAVE YOU FROM BEING MISTAKEN AND DELUDED, AND FROM WORKING, WALKING AND FOLLOWING ERRONEOUSLY. 

FAITH IN GOD IS HOPE AND ASSURANCE FOR YOUR TODAY AND TOMORROW IN THE GRACIOUS AND GRACEFUL LOVE OF GOD IN HIS PURPOSE AND WILL FOR LIFE AND GODLINESS. [Hebrews 13:8; Romans 8:28; Ephesians 1:11] 

Pleasing God is by FAITH. FAITH COMES BY HEARING, AND HEARING THE WORD. Romans 10:17 
And the Word PLEASES God. And PLEASING God is REWARDING. 

It thus means therefore that — a NO WORD means a NO FAITH; and a NO FAITH means a NO PLEASING of God; and a NO PLEASING of God means a NO GOD’S KIND OF REWARD. 

More importantly, it is only when a man’s ways PLEASE the Lord that He MAKES his ENEMIES to be at PEACE with him — [Proverbs 16:7]. 
Meaning that the easiest way to get rid of the ENEMY and his COHORTS about you is by FAITH — that is, by acting correspondingly on God’s WORD. 

FAITH PLEASES GOD and makes you VICTORIOUS and A WORLD OVERCOMER. [1 John 5:4-5] 
FAITH takes you out of SIN and SINFUL CONSCIOUSNESS into RIGHTEOUS CONSCIOUSNESS. [Romans 14:23] 

THEREFORE INCLINE YOUR EAR TO HEAR GOD — HEAR HEALTHILY UNTIL YOU FEED YOUR SPIRIT BEING FOR YOUR OWN GOOD AND FOR THE GOODNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS’ STEAD. AMEN. 

Hearing God will always SAVE you from being MISTAKEN, from ERRORS and from being DELUDED in every way as you do life with God in His BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. 
For FAITH in God is hope and assurance for your today and tomorrow’s well-being in life and godly living. [Hebrews 13:8; Matthew 22:29] 

Hearing the Word gives entrance of THE WORD into the human spirit. And it is only by the entrance of THE WORD that one is enlightened, illuminated and given a simplified life in every CONTEXT. [Psalm 119:105, 130; John 1:1-5; Proverbs 4:18-23; 2 Corinthians 4:6] 

It is my earnest PRAYER for you today, that you will intentionally and pragmatically do yourself a favour by INCLINING YOUR HEARING EARS TO HEAR GOD in all things about doing life and living godly in grace, so that you can PLEASE GOD by FAITH and have ANSWERS to all of your PRAYERS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“But without FAITH it is impossible to PLEASE him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a REWARDER of them that DILIGENTLY seek him” Hebrews 11:6. 

“When a MAN’S WAYS PLEASE the Lord, he MAKETH even his ENEMIES to be at PEACE with him“ Proverbs 16:7.

THE WORD is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, THE WORD OF FAITH, which we preach; 9 that if thou shalt CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH the Lord Jesus, and shalt BELIEVE IN THINE HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the HEART man BELIEVETH unto righteousness; and with the MOUTH CONFESSION is made unto salvation . . . 17 So then FAITH cometh by HEARING, and HEARING by the WORD of God” Romans 10:8-10, 17. 

SUMMARY: 
The message is titled “INCLINE YOUR EARS TO HEAR GOD: ONLY THE HEARING OF FAITH PLEASES GOD!” 

It establishes a divine order: NO WORD → NO FAITH → NO PLEASING GOD → NO GOD’S KIND OF REWARD. But when we hear and act on the Word, our faith pleases God, makes us VICTORIOUS and WORLD OVERCOMERS, moves our enemies to peace, and brings health, life and answers to prayer. 

The charge is clear: INCLINE YOUR EARS TO HEAR GOD HEALTHILY so that the entrance of the Word will enlighten, illuminate and simplify life in every context. Psalm 119:130

  1. INCLINE YOUR HEARING EARS TODAY 
    Intentionally set time to hear God in the Word. Don’t let His sayings depart from your eyes. Keep them in the midst of your heart (Proverbs 4:20-21). 
  2. HEAR HEALTHILY UNTIL YOUR SPIRIT IS FED 
    Don’t just hear to know. Hear to be fed, enlightened and transformed. Let the Word enter your spirit so you can walk in life, health and clarity. 
  3. ACT ON WHAT YOU HEAR BY FAITH 
    Faith is acting correspondingly on God’s Word. This is how you please God, overcome the world, silence the enemy, and receive answers to your prayers (Romans 10:8-10). 

Final Charge: Do yourself a favour. INCLINE YOUR EARS TO HEAR GOD in all things about doing life and living godly in grace. When you hear and believe, you will please God by faith and flourish in His blessedness in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

SPIRITUAL FAMINE: ARE YOU IN DROUGHT TO THE HEARING OF THE WORD! 

“Behold, the DAYS come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a FAMINE in the land, not a FAMINE of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD: 12 and they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east,they shall run to and fro to SEEK THE WORD of the Lord, and shall NOT FIND IT. 13 In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst” Amos 8:11-13. 

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do ERR (MISTAKEN, ERROR), not KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES, nor the POWER of God” Matthew 22:29. 

Dear friend, are you living in a spiritual drought? Are you desiring the Word of the Lord that leads to daily salvation and deliverance [Romans 10:8-13] but it seems all you see around to feed from are fables, dogmas, sectarianism, traditions, methods, creeds, shows and self-created, denominationalised doctrines? [Matthew 15:1-6; 1 Peter 1:17-18] 

And worse, when you cannot find the principles of the Word and the process, instead you see craft, fraud and scams to extort you in the name of grace? [Philippians 1:15-18] 

It is time to do something about the drought of the hearing of God’s Word, for your own good, as an antidote to restore healthy spiritual sensitivity in the grace [Galatians 1:6-9; Jude 1:3-4; 1 Timothy 1:18-20]. 

And you need to know that you cannot blame people or anyone for your spiritual drought when there are opportunities to be informed — as you are now reading — to safeguard against error and being mistaken in the faith. It is also to make you do something about your spiritual wellbeing in the grace, as you desire to do life and live godly by the WORD, in Christ Jesus. 

Your becoming for today and tomorrow is within your decision — and you need to make it happen in the grace, without blaming anyone. You have been given the opportunity in the grace to stop every form and signal of spiritual drought about you. 

Don’t live in SPIRITUAL DROUGHT, I beg you — it will short-circuit your path in DOING life and LIVING godly in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus. 

There is nothing as dangerous and deadly as FAMINE — be it physical or spiritual. FAMINE is the extreme — scarcity, shortage, drought, unavailability, lack, insufficiency, undersupply, deficiency, impoverishment, shortfall and such like, of the basic necessity(ies) of life — e.g. FOOD — resulting in HUNGER, whose consequences are unprecedented fatalities. 

“MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED for LACK OF KNOWLEDGE: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children” Hosea 4:6. 

“Therefore MY PEOPLE ARE GONE INTO CAPTIVITY, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. 14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. 15 And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled” Isaiah 5:13-15. 

In life we know how people suffer and die in horrible conditions when there is physical famine. We don’t have to look far to see the dire physical hunger and needs in our NEIGHBOURHOOD, COMMUNITIES, SOCIETY, NATION and WORLD today. Hunger because of FAMINE is a severe and terrible condition for anyone to experience. Yet, many in our WORLDS are suffering and dying daily as a result of this monster called — FAMINE. 

Unfortunately today, many do not fully know and realise that SPIRITUAL FAMINE does exist. And there are implications of its existence in one’s life and in our society and world. It could even be the DE FACTO cause of the physical condition we experience today as — INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY, SOCIETY and NATION. 

A SPIRITUAL FAMINE indicates NO SPIRITUAL FOOD, or insufficient and inadequate provision, resulting in severe hunger — leading to spiritual suffering and or death. NO FOOD means NO WORD, which is the FOOD of the SPIRITUAL man — the spirit being. 

Man in HUMAN [Hu-Man] is a being, that is, a spirit being [subconscious place], has a soul [conscious mind, reasoning faculty, will] and lives in a body [physique, physical structure]. 

NO WORD for the human well-being means NO FAITH. And NO FAITH is consequential; for FAITH comes by the HEARING of the WORD of God [Romans 10:17], and with NO FAITH, none can PLEASE God [Hebrews 11:6], and not pleasing God makes one vulnerable to the enemy and cohorts against our faith in the grace [Proverbs 16:7]. 

And to live a life wherein God is not PLEASED with you, and rather, you cannot PLEASE God for lack of faith by the Word is sinful and has consequences [Romans 14:23]. And such consequences can be dire and result in fatalities just as physical hunger does [Amos 8:11-14; Genesis 41-47]. SELAH — PAUSE AND THINK ABOUT IT! 

One of such consequences is to have no MEANINGFUL nourishment and fulfilment in LIFE and GODLY LIVING with God, as a result of NO FELLOWSHIP to enhance one’s RELATIONSHIP with GOD. It takes FAITH to FELLOWSHIP with God. For we are CALLED to FELLOWSHIP with God in order to ENHANCE our RELATIONSHIP with Him, for therein is the PATH of LIFE [1 Corinthians 1:9; Psalms 16:11; Romans 8:28-30; Ephesians 1:11]. 

When one is IMPOVERISHED and MALNOURISHED within one’s being, there is no amount of WEALTH and PHYSICAL POSSESSION that can FULFIL such emptiness within [Luke 12:15]. 

And there is no scientific or medical act such as SCAN, X-RAY, STETHOSCOPE, CHEMOTHERAPY and such like that can and will be able to detect the essence of the human spirit that makes man a being. For God has put a default of ETERNITY in the human spirit, with which in His infinite nature only He can relate to every being [Ecclesiastes 3:11 Amplified; Proverbs 20:27; Job 32:8; Job 33:4]. 

Therefore, SPIRITUAL FAMINE, as with PHYSICAL FAMINE, has consequences. And with RESOLUTION for an ANSWER to SPIRITUAL FAMINE, PHYSICAL FAMINE can be RESOLVED effortlessly in grace [2 Chronicles 7:12-15]. For GOD will ensure that FAMINE of ALL SORTS is RESOLVED for the good of all [Psalms 33:18-20; Psalms 37:18-19; Genesis 26:1-14; Psalms 105:16-24/Genesis 41-47]. 

It is time to RESOLVE to give yourself to FEED HEALTHILY on the WORD of God; firstly on a PERSONAL level and from other platforms and ONLINE opportunities, in order to avoid FAMINE. More so, to triumphantly thrive and be meaningfully fulfilled over any form of FAMINE that may tend to affect you in LIFE, GRACE and GODLY LIVING [Job 23:12; 2 Timothy 2:15; 2 Timothy 3:14-17; Matthew 22:29; Jeremiah 15:16; Psalms 1:1-3]. 

Don’t live in SPIRITUAL DROUGHT — it will short-circuit your PATH IN LIFE and GODLY LIVING in the grace. 

THE SPIRITUAL IMPACT OF THE FAMINE OF HEARING THE WORD IS ENORMOUS AND INDESCRIBABLE. 

Therefore, with many facing ENORMOUS life challenges and circumstances, which are as a result of THE FAMINE OF THE HEARING OF THE WORD, there is the need to be built up in FAITH. And the need to kick-start your own avenue on a personal level is now — TO THE HEARING OF THE WORD — in order to STEADFASTLY RESIST IN THE FAITH the FEAR of the monster that has befallen or is intending, long before it gets to your vicinity [Amos 8:11-14]. 

It is time to feed HEALTHILY your spirit and wellbeing with the living WORD in order to STEADFASTLY RESIST IN FAITH the fear of the monster that has gripped and crippled the world’s health and economy to a standstill and downward curve for a while now [1 Peter 5:8-11]. 

And when you feed healthily, our God of all wisdom, speed and love will make you perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you in life and grace in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“And I will GIVE you pastors according to mine heart, which shall FEED you with KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING” Jeremiah 3:15.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 whom RESIST STEDFAST IN THE FAITH, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, MAKE YOU PERFECT, STABLISH, STRENGTHEN, SETTLE YOU. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. “Thy WORDS WERE FOUND, and I did EAT them; and thy WORD was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts” Jeremiah 15:16. 

SUMMARY: 
The message is a prophetic alarm titled SPIRITUAL FAMINE: ARE YOU IN DROUGHT TO THE HEARING OF THE WORD! 
It contrasts physical famine with spiritual famine and warns that the greatest famine of our day is “not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD” Amos 8:11. The message teaches that a lack of the Word produces a lack of faith, which leads to spiritual death, captivity, vulnerability to the enemy, and even manifests as physical lack in individuals, families, and nations. The antidote is to personally and deliberately feed on the Word, build faith, and restore fellowship with God so that both spiritual and physical famine can be resolved in Christ Jesus.

  1. THE PROPHECY OF SPIRITUAL FAMINE IS FULFILLED TODAY
  • God warned of a day when there would be a famine “of HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD”. People will run to and fro seeking the Word and not find it. Amos 8:11-13

  1. WHAT SPIRITUAL FAMINE DOES TO MAN
  • Man is tripartite: spirit, soul and body. NO WORD = NO FOOD for the spirit. 
  • NO WORD = NO FAITH, NO FAITH = CANNOT PLEASE GOD [Hebrews 11:6]. CANNOT PLEASE GOD = VULNERABLE TO THE ENEMY [Proverbs 16:7]. This is sin and has consequences [Romans 14:23]. 
  • Consequences can be dire — spiritual suffering, death, captivity — just as physical hunger causes fatalities [Amos 8:11-14; Genesis 41-47]. 
  • No meaningful nourishment or fulfilment. Wealth and possessions cannot fill the emptiness [Luke 12:15]. 
  • No fellowship with God, and therefore no enhancement of relationship with Him. Yet we are CALLED to fellowship, for therein is the PATH OF LIFE [1 Corinthians 1:9; Psalms 16:11]. 
     
  1. SPIRITUAL FAMINE AFFECTS THE PHYSICAL
  • Spiritual famine can be the DE FACTO cause of the physical conditions we face as INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY, SOCIETY and NATION. 
  • With resolution to spiritual famine, physical famine can be resolved effortlessly in grace [2 Chronicles 7:12-15]. God will resolve famine of all sorts [Psalms 33:18-20; Genesis 26:1-14]. 
     
  1. THE WORD IS OUR FOOD, LIGHT AND DEFENCE
  • The Word is necessary food [Job 23:12], a lamp and light [Psalms 119:105, 130], and gives understanding to the simple. 
  • Faith comes by HEARING the Word [Romans 10:17]. We must study to show ourselves approved, rightly applying the Word [2 Timothy 2:15]. 
  • All Scripture is profitable to make the man of God PERFECT, complete, matured [2 Timothy 3:14-17]. 

CALL TO ACTION 

  1. RESOLVE TO FEED HEALTHILY ON THE WORD 
    “It is time to RESOLVE to give yourself to FEED HEALTHILY on the WORD of God; firstly on a PERSONAL level and from other platforms and ONLINE opportunities, in order to avoid FAMINE.” 
    Esteem the Word more than necessary food [Job 23:12]. Eat it like Jeremiah [Jeremiah 15:16].
  2. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY — STOP BLAMING 
    “You cannot blame people or anyone for your spiritual drought when there are opportunities to be informed — as you are now reading.” 
    Your becoming for today and tomorrow is within your decision. Use the grace and opportunity given to stop every signal of spiritual drought.
  3. BUILD FAITH TO RESIST THE ENEMY 
    “Kick-start your own avenue on a personal level is now — TO THE HEARING OF THE WORD — in order to STEADFASTLY RESIST IN THE FAITH the FEAR of the monster…” [1 Peter 5:8-11] 
    Be sober, be vigilant. God of all grace will then make you perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you in life and grace in Christ Jesus.

WELCOME TO MONTH OCTOBER 2026: THE MONTH OF “OVERCOMING SPIRITUAL FAMINE IN THE GRACE!”

In the name of God the Father, Our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, and the Blessed Holy Spirit, I welcome you to the MONTH OF OCTOBER in the year of the Lord 2026, in Christ Jesus’ stead, Amen. And this month of OCTOBER 2026 is entitled: “OVERCOMING SPIRITUAL FAMINE IN THE GRACE!” This is about Overcoming FAMINE – DROUGHT. FAMINE means both an extreme physical shortage in terms of food, water, clothing, shelter and other basic necessities of doing life. And FAMINE also means, more importantly, a spiritual separation from God in our living godly in the grace, in Christ Jesus’ stead. And such an act of separation is the consequence of Sin. And separation from God results in: POVERTY, SICKNESS AND SPIRITUAL DEATH! 

The month of October is the second of the seven [7] months with thirty-one days in the twelve-month calendar of the year. The Month of October was originally the eighth month of the Roman calendar. And the name October comes from the Latin word “OCTO” meaning eight. Later, it became the 10th month when January and February were added to the Calendar in the JULIAN and GREGORIAN calendars. And spiritually, the number “eight” is said to be a symbol of NEW BEGINNING, signifying BLESSEDNESS which encompasses – WEALTH, PROSPERITY, PEACE, FERTILITY and more of such like. 

And the month of October is normally the time of the year when farmers harvest their crops – indicating PRODUCTIVITY and ABUNDANCE. That, to me, is important, so that we can then ensure the assured BLESSEDNESS of God in Christ Jesus’ stead in our redemption. However, PRODUCTIVITY and ABUNDANCE are not always the case when there is a SPIRITUAL FAMINE, resulting in these effects: 

  • When the RAINS are withheld to destroy cultivation: growth, maturity and fruitfulness; 
  • When there is LOCUSTS’ invasion of the cultivated land by locusts to bring economic setbacks and meltdown; 
  • When there is PESTILENCE [SICKNESS AND DISEASE], whose impact is dire – epidermic and Pandemic – to human existence.  

“Then the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him: “I have heard your PRAYER, and have CHOSEN this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice. When I shut up heaven and there is NO RAIN, or command the LOCUSTS to devour the land, or send PESTILENCE among My people, if My people who are CALLED by My name will HUMBLE themselves, and PRAY and SEEK My face, and TURN from their WICKED ways, then I will HEAR from heaven, and will FORGIVE their sin and HEAL their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place” 2 Chronicles 7:12-15/NKJV. 

So, in this Month OCTOBER 2026, God’s intent through the TEACHING and other format publications I will be presenting in respect to the theme context, is to bring about the SCRIPTURAL antidotes to help the Believers of God in Christ Jesus as you and me, on the how to “OVERCOME THE SPIRITUAL FAMINE IN THE GRACE, whose dire consequences can results the context of the Holy Writ of” 2 Chronicles 7:12-15. 

A lack of the needful RAIN to cultivate your vision, dream, plan-purpose-pursuit that can bring about Growth, maturity and fruitfulness will be telling – if not already – to someone reading this; And sometimes it is not the lack of RAIN that is the problem. It could be that there was or is RAIN, but the given vision, dream, plan-purpose-pursuit that was already going according to intended expectation is now invaded and attacked by the LOCUSTS of life, thereby affecting the expected productivity and sustainability; Or perhaps, the RAIN was good for cultivation and start-up, and there was no LOCUSTS invasion and attack on the business, but there was and is the pandemic/epidermic of PESTILENCE [DISEASE and SICKNESS] as have been experienced many times in human history. 

The picture painted by the various indicators above shows the consequences of SPIRITUAL FAMINE – that which mitigates our becoming in the grace, and to our state of doing life and living godly in the grace. Thus, it speaks to how it affects matters relating to our well-being in the business of life [vision, dream etc] and the entirety of the expected plan-purpose-pursuit that we crave after daily. And it i is in respect to knowing and understanding spiritual implications that invade and result in such physical effects, that the Apostles in Acts 11:27-30 were very ready to prepare. For the horse is prepared against the day of battle [Proverbs 21:31; Proverbs 16:1-9/Amplified Classic Edition]; The Apostles of the early Church did not take for granted when they received such authentic prophecy by Prophet Agabus concerning FAMINE, to ensure that the assured prophetic word of God that was spoken was respected and never undermined with a doubtful spirit as some may. 

“We have also a MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: knowing this first, that no PROPHECY of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the PROPHECY came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” 2 Peter 1:19-21 

Therefore, as I welcome you to this Month of OCTOBER, I want you to follow through in this season the SCRIPTURAL path that is set, to help you “OVERCOME SPIRITUAL FAMINE IN THE GRACE” – to enable you HAVE RAIN, NO LOCUSTS and NO PESTILENCE, in your doing life and living godly in the grace. And OVERCOMING is by FAITH, and FAITH is by the WORD. And the FAMINE of the WORD is a SPIRITUAL FAMINE as it is written: 

“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a FAMINE on the land, Not a FAMINE of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of HEARING THE WORDS of the Lord. They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord, But shall not find it. “In that day the fair virgins And strong young men Shall faint from thirst. Those who swear by the sin of Samaria, Who say, ‘As your god lives, O Dan!’ And, ‘As the way of Beersheba lives!’ They shall fall and never rise again” Amos 8:11-14/NKJV. 

The FAMINE of the HEARING OF THE WORD indicates a SPIRITUAL FAMINE, and that means NO FAITH, which indicates that FAITH becomes inactive – inoperative. And NO FAITH is SIN – meaning the absence of divine connectivity, as FAITH is the currency, spiritual legal tender and de facto, to have communion with the heavenly concerning earthly affairs in the Kingdom. And an inoperative Faith means inability to OVERCOME the system of ther world, to WIN in doing life and living godly in the grace, in Christ Jesus as it is written: 

“And he that DOUBTETH is DAMNED if he eat, because he eateth not of FAITH: FOR WHATSOEVER IS NOT OF FAITH IS SIN” Romans 14:23. 

“For whatever is born of God OVERCOMES the world. And this is the victory that has OVERCOME the world—our faith. Who is he who OVERCOMES the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5/NKJV. 

I pray that my God and your God in Christ Jesus will give you insight and foresight in the knowing and understanding of this month of October theme as entitled: “OVERCOMING SPIRITUAL FAMINE IN THE GRACE!”

“Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine. 20 Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name. Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You” Psalms 33:18-22/NKJV. 

“The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied” Psalms 37:18-19/NKJV 

“And in these days prophets came from Jerusalem to Antioch. Then one of them, named Agabus, stood up and showed by the Spirit that there was going to be a great famine throughout all the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius Caesar. Then the disciples, each according to his ability, determined to send relief to the brethren dwelling in Judea. This they also did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul” Acts 11:27-30/NKJV. 

SUMMARY 

The message is anchored on Acts 11:27-30 where Prophet Agabus foretold a GREAT FAMINE, and the early disciples responded by preparing and sending relief. 
Theme: “OVERCOMING SPIRITUAL FAMINE IN THE GRACE!” 
We are called to take prophecy seriously and prepare, just as the Apostles did. 

  1. UNDERSTANDING FAMINE — NATURAL AND SPIRITUAL

FAMINE means two things: 

  • Physical: Extreme shortage of food, water, clothing, shelter and basic necessities. 
  • Spiritual: Separation from God in living godly in the grace. The root is SIN. 
    Result of Spiritual Separation: POVERTY, SICKNESS AND SPIRITUAL DEATH 
  1. OCTOBER SIGNIFICANCE
  • Natural: October is harvest time — indicating PRODUCTIVITY and ABUNDANCE. 
  • Numeric: October was the 8th month. “Eight” spiritually means NEW BEGINNING — BLESSEDNESS: WEALTH, PROSPERITY, PEACE, FERTILITY. 
  • God’s Desire: That we enter October to ensure the assured BLESSEDNESS of God in Christ Jesus’ stead. 
  1. THE 3 MANIFESTATIONS OF SPIRITUAL FAMINE [2 Chronicles 7:12-15]

When there is SPIRITUAL FAMINE, productivity is blocked through: 

  1. NO RAIN — Lack to cultivate your vision, dream, plan-purpose-pursuit. No growth, maturity, fruitfulness. 
  2. LOCUSTS INVASION — What was growing gets attacked. Vision/business is invaded, affecting productivity and sustainability. 
  3. PESTILENCE — SICKNESS AND DISEASE. Epidemic and Pandemic that brings dire impact to human existence. 

These show the consequence of SPIRITUAL FAMINE which mitigates our becoming in grace and affects our well-being in life, business, and all we crave daily. 

  1. THE ROOT CAUSE & THE ANTIDOTE

Root: FAMINE OF THE HEARING OF THE WORD [Amos 8:11-14] 

  • When we don’t hear the Word, we have NO FAITH. 
  • NO FAITH is SIN — absence of divine connectivity. 
  • FAITH is the currency and legal tender for communion with heaven concerning earthly affairs. 

Result of Inoperative Faith: Inability to OVERCOME the systems of the world. We cannot WIN in doing life and living godly in the grace [1 John 5:4-5, Romans 14:23]. 

God’s Antidote in 2 Chronicles 7:14: 
“if My people who are CALLED by My name will HUMBLE themselves, and PRAY and SEEK My face, and TURN from their WICKED ways, then I will HEAR from heaven, and will FORGIVE their sin and HEAL their land.” 

  1. THE APOSTOLIC PATTERN

The Apostles did not take prophecy lightly. They DETERMINED, DID, and SENT relief. 
“For the horse is prepared against the day of battle” [Proverbs 21:31]. 
We too must prepare ahead of the famine. 

KEY POINTS TO HOLD 

  1. October is a month of NEW BEGINNING and BLESSEDNESS, but it requires spiritual vigilance.
  2. SPIRITUAL FAMINE is more dangerous than physical famine — it cuts off FAITH, our currency in the Kingdom.
  3. The 3 enemies are NO RAIN, LOCUSTS, PESTILENCE — they attack vision, progress, and health. 
  4. OVERCOMING is by FAITH, and FAITH is by the WORD. A famine of the Word produces a famine in life. 
  5. The early Church prepared when they heard prophecy. We must do the same. 

CALL TO ACTION FOR OCTOBER 2026 

  1. HUMBLE OURSELVES — Acknowledge our need for God and turn from every wicked way. 
  2. PRAY AND SEEK GOD’S FACE — Make prayer and the Word central this month. Don’t allow a famine of hearing. 
  3. FEED ON THE WORD DAILY — Build FAITH. Faith is what makes us OVERCOME the world, LOCUSTS, and PESTILENCE. 
  4. ACT IN OBEDIENCE — Like the disciples in Acts 11, determine to do what God is showing you for your life, family, and assignment.
  5. DECLARE AND BELIEVE: I WILL HAVE RAIN, NO LOCUSTS, AND NO PESTILENCE in my doing life and living godly in the grace this October.

FOR YOUR ASSURING WHOLENESS – FEED YOUR INNER-BEING HEALTHILY: THAT’S HOW YOU WILL ENSURE THE PREVAILING WORD DEFAULT! 

“But he answered and said, It is written, MAN shall not LIVE by BREAD alone, but by EVERY WORD that PROCEEDETH out of the MOUTH of God” Mathew 4:4 [Luke 4:4]. 

Do you want to live WHOLLY — I mean to experience the promise of WHOLENESS from God? 
Then live by every WORD of God, for it is God’s measure for every content and context of your path in doing life and living godly in the grace. 

This is important, especially as a believing child of God in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

For Biblical JOB of old knew it, and the Psalmist DAVID the king knew it well too. Their heart’s desire and longing for the WORD was the essence of their living. Each of them, like many, craved after the WORD, and it was so ordained that the WORD became their hallmark to thrive in doing life and living godly in the grace that was available to them. 

And that is what shaped their onward and upward trajectory in the grace, as it is written about them in the Holy Writ:  

“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. 11 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. 12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have ESTEEMED the WORDS of His MOUTH more than my NECESSARY food” Job 23:12. 

“O how LOVE I thy law! it is my MEDITATION all the day. 98 Thou through thy commandments hast MADE me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. 99 I have more UNDERSTANDING than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. 100 I UNDERSTAND more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts . . . 105 Thy WORD is a LAMP unto my feet, 

and a LIGHT unto my path . . . 130 The entrance of thy WORDS giveth LIGHT; it giveth UNDERSTANDING unto the simple” Psalms 119:97-100, 105, 130. 

What made me curate this writ is what I have heard and keep hearing over time — something so disturbing: the perversion and misleading that many are ignorantly embracing. 
It is the hearing, now and again, of some people saying to others: 

  • To STAY POSITIVE, and/or 
  • To SPEAK POSITIVE, and/or 
  • To BE POSITIVE in mindset. 

The above, and such like, are matters I have seen and heard severally, as people go about recommending them to themselves and to others when addressing their various challenges in their respective contexts. 

And indeed, I want you to know that though such may seem and sound good in a MOTIVATIONAL attitude and concept, it is not the Scriptural path to kingdom redemption. 
Common sense is not Scriptural sense by any measure or mile. 

It is unfortunate for the REDEEMED, born of God, to be thinking positively instead of Scripturally. 

I want the scriptural child of God to know that the act of life and living is of the human spirit — [SPIRIT-BEING] — and not of the mind as to mindset. And this act of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus’ stead revolves around our FAITH — I mean, our faith in God through Christ Jesus. 

And our FAITH is of the WORD. To do life and godly living outside the WORD is to live by FATE. 

And to live by FATE instead of by FAITH is to do life by your will-power or by a principle of determining your cause — a mentality of the mind that believes things in general will just come to be as they are, or that events will just happen for good as they are meant to happen, without any action of the Word personified and in the perspective of the person involved. 

This concept, unfortunately, has made many think in their own way that in doing life and facing challenges, it is by their mind-power and not by the consequence of the act of God through the WORD. 

“By FAITH [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the WORLDS (universe, ages) were FRAMED and CREATED [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the WORD of God, so that what is SEEN was not made out of things which are VISIBLE” Hebrews 11:3/Amplified. 

“For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the ENCOURAGEMENT of the SCRIPTURES we might have HOPE and OVERFLOW with CONFIDENCE in His PROMISES “ Romans 15:4/Amplified.  

Not living by FAITH through the SCRIPTURE makes one to live by FATE as a robot — with a self-willed mentality, without the God essence, and with nothing to hold on to from God’s promises as the basis of a Scriptural context. 

Unlike the act of FATE, the act of FAITH is built on and of God’s WORD. It is the born-again Believer’s concept and context of belief in the grace, in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

And as a believer in God through Christ Jesus, you need to know that the act of FATE belongs to the non-believer or the atheist, whose concept and context is that things will happen irrespective of any decision. As they say — “WHAT WILL BE WILL BE”, and “IT IS WHAT IT IS”. 

It is most unfortunate to bank upon that as a REDEEMED child of God in Christ Jesus’ stead.  

“And he that DOUBETH is damned if he eat, because he eateth NOT of FAITH : for WHATSOEVER is NOT OF FAITH is sin” Romans 14:23. 

More so, the Believer’s FAITH is a belief in God through Christ Jesus’ stead, and it is not built on POSITIVE THINKING or CONCEPT to enhance or sustain such a motivational context and content — but it is purely and only built upon God’s WORD. 

For Faith is of God’s WORD, and it results FROM the WORD of God. Faith is the consequence of God’s WORD — the synergistic de facto in doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus. 

And it can COME and it can GO, except the Word of God in context is synergised, as enjoined in the Holy Writ: 
Romans 10:17 

“So then FAITH COMETH by hearing, and hearing by the WORD of God” 

“And now I COMMEND you to God [placing you in His protective, loving care] and [I commend you] to THE WORD of His grace [the counsel and promises of His unmerited favor]. His grace is ABLE to BUILD you up and to GIVE you the [rightful] INHERITANCE among all those who are SANCTIFIED [that is, among those who are SET APART for God’s PURPOSE —ALL BELIEVERS]” Acts 20:32/Amplified.  

Be REMINDED and INFORMED that the MAN in your huMAN is a spirit being. He has a soul and lives in a body, indicating that man is a triune — being — 1 Thessalonians 5:23. Hebrews 4:12. 

And the MAN in the HU-MAN spirit is SUSTAINED by the BREATH of God through God’s WORD, just as the human BODY is SUSTAINED and kept functioning by OXYGEN, as written in the Holy Writs, but not limited to these scriptures: 

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and BREATHED into his nostrils the BREATH OF LIFE; and man became a LIVING soul” Genesis 2:7. 

“The spirit of man is the CANDLE of the Lord, SEARCHING all the INWARD PARTS of the belly” Proverbs 20:27. 

“But there is a spirit in man: 

and the INSPIRATION of the Almighty giveth them understanding” Job 32:8. 

“The Spirit of God hath made me, and the BREATH of the Almighty hath given me life” Job 33:4. 

“For the WORD of God is quick [ALIVE, LIVING], and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a DISCERNER of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” Hebrews 4:12-13. 

“And the very God of peace SANCTIFY you WHOLLY; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be PRESERVED blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Thessalonians 5:23. 

Therefore, the Man’s real BEING is activated by the human spirit, whose breath of LIFE is kept alive in FAITH by the Spirit of God through God’s WORD — Hebrews 4:12-13. 

That is why the HOLY Writs of Proverbs 18:14, Proverbs 17:22 and Proverbs 4:20-23 enjoin us to look after our spirit BEING and to be INCLINED to God’s SAYING [WORD], before it is damaged by life circumstances. 

Otherwise its end result is depressing, dangerous, damaging, and not sustainable by mere positive speaking or thinking, nor easily handled by mere wishes. 

Hence, being inclined to the Scriptures by FAITH is important when facing life challenges, especially when you are in a delicate state — as I have come to know through the “Pastoral Faith-clinic and faith-surgery counselling” times with various kinds of people over the years. 

The Believers in God through Christ Jesus who are severely broken and badly depressed are difficult to bring back to live in reality by a mere wishing of POSITIVE perception of life, until the WORD of God takes its place in them. 

One can only — I say ONLY — be restored to thrive in the grace by the WORD, in the context of the circumstances they are dealing with, as they pragmatically resolve to have an absolute, intentional and resolute stance in the grace. 

It must be noted that when the man in the hu-man, which is the SPIRIT-BEING that ensures and assures the life and living span of any human, is not WHOLE and in WHOLENESS, and the total being is traumatised by the reasons and matters of life challenges, the entire being — soul and body — becomes dysfunctional. 

And a mere use of chemicals to overcome such traumatised challenges can only suppress the action of the body. And while it may offer a reflex to the soul for a moment, the real determining factor of the being, which is the SPIRIT-BEING, will remain active but undetected by stethoscope, scan, x-ray and other metaphysical and chemical medicinal appliances. 

It is only when there is the introduction of the WORD of God — the agency of grace to do the proposition and diagnosis into the division of the spirit, soul and body of such a person — that the undetected active MAN in the HU-MAN is detected, thereby giving rise to resolving the malady that is at play.  

“The spirit of a man will SUSTAIN his INFIRMITY; but a WOUNDED [BROKEN, DEPRESSED] spirit who can bear?” Proverbs 18:14/Emphasis mine. 

“A MERRY heart [spirit] doeth GOOD like a MEDICINE: but a BROKEN [DEPRESSED] spirit drieth the bones” Proverbs 17:22/Emphasis mine. 

“For THE WORD of God is LIVING and ACTIVE and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, PENETRATING as far as the DIVISION of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, and revealed to the eyes of Him with whom we have to give account” Hebrews 4:12-13/Amplified. 

I want you to know and be REMINDED, if you already know, that the FAITH that is of God’s WORD in life is not a DOCTRINE, CREED or DENOMINATIONAL set belief. 

And its functionality is not about being POSITIVE as in a motivational concept, but it is by ACTING accordingly on God’s WORD in which you BELIEVE, in any context of needs and demands. 

It is the steadfast hold by FAITH on God’s WORD that gives the freedom to triumph, dominion, thrive, victory and such like in the grace. And the WORD by FAITH makes one also become an overcomer and more than a conqueror in life and godliness in the grace, as in the Holy Writ: 
Hebrews 10:23; Romans 10:6-10; 1 John 5:3-5; Romans 8:35-40; 2 Corinthians 2:14; Revelation 12:11; 1 Corinthians 15:57 

Therefore, don’t just live POSITIVE FOR NOTHING or WITH NOTHING — that is, by being in an EMPTINESS of the mind, as with those that practice “ASTRAL TRAVELS OF THEIR MIND” which results in FATE. 

God can only work through His WORD to make all things work together for the good and goodness for any. 

It is true that God does MIRACLES, but a miracle is a CONSEQUENCE of His WORD and not by COINCIDENCE, as in magic, sorcery or divination, as in witchcraft and such like. 

The Miracles of God can only happen by the cause of THE WORD, which does indicate then that: 
NO WORD means NO FAITH — Romans 10:17 
NO FAITH means NO ANSWERS to PRAYERS and NO PLEASING of God — Hebrews 11:6; Proverbs 16:7; Romans 14:23; Habakkuk 2:4; Hebrews 10:38; Galatians 3:11; Romans 1:17 
And NO PLEASING of God means one is left vulnerable to the enemy and cohorts that are working against our FAITH in the grace — Proverbs 16:7 

So, the act of victory and triumph by FAITH in all life and living circumstances is by the WORD, for the good of the SPIRIT-BEING of the Believers in the grace. 

And I hereby repeat again, as previously mentioned, the need to know full well that FAITH is not a creed, doctrine or denominational belief, but the mystery of grace to ACCESS THE HEAVENLY for our EARTHLY ENDEAVOURS — 1 Timothy 3:9; Romans 5:1-2 

And it is the GIVEN, ENDUED and ENDOWED access to the Believers in Christ Jesus by THE MEASURE of divine providence and not by A MEASURE as some may attribute. It is the Believer’s basis to function in earthly affairs in the grace, to ensure and assure the heavenly RELATIONSHIP and FELLOWSHIP in doing LIFE and LIVING GODLY in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 
Romans 12:3; Ephesians 4:7; Romans 5:1-2 

And FAITH is sustained by the WORD to help the human spirit stay actively alive on this side of the heavens — Romans 10:17; Hebrews 4:12-13 

Where there is NO WORD . . . there is NO FAITH, and it thus means that the human spirit is then STARVED — meaning no SPIRITUAL OXYGEN. And the consequences are more than what words could be used to explain. 

So, I exhort you to FEED your life and living SPIRIT-BEING with THE WORD of God HEALTHILY and not anyhow or randomly, for it will enhance one’s focus and result to live in wholeness in Christ Jesus. Amen. 

THE SECRET OF ANY TRUE GREATNESS AND WHOLENESS IS IN THE SECRET OF THE WORD. IT GIVES LIFE TO YOUR BEING AND WELL-BEING. JUST THINK ABOUT IT TODAY AND ALWAYS! 

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“But he answered and said, It is written, MAN shall not LIVE by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the MOUTH of God” Mathew 4:4.

SUMMARY: 
The message is a prophetic exhortation that true wholeness, victory and spiritual vitality for the Believer is only found by feeding the SPIRIT-BEING with THE WORD of God — not by positive thinking, motivational concepts, or fate. It contrasts FAITH vs FATE, WORD vs MINDSET, and SPIRIT-BEING vs BODY/SOUL, showing that the human being is triune and the spirit-man must be sustained by God’s WORD and BREATH the same way the body is sustained by oxygen. 

KEY POINTS: 

  1. The Foundation: Life is in THE WORD, Not in Positivity
  • FAITH is not DOCTRINE, CREED or POSITIVE THINKING. It is ACTING on God’s WORD in which you believe. 
  • NO WORD = NO FAITH. NO FAITH = NO PLEASING OF GOD — Romans 10:17; Hebrews 11:6 
  • To live POSITIVE “FOR NOTHING” is emptiness and leads to FATE. God only works through His WORD — Matthew 4:4 
  1. Man is a Triune Being Sustained by the WORD
  • The MAN in your huMAN is a SPIRIT-BEING. He has a soul and lives in a body — 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 4:12 
  • Just as the BODY needs OXYGEN, the SPIRIT-BEING needs the BREATH of God through His WORD — Genesis 2:7; Job 33:4 
  • Without the WORD, the human spirit is STARVED — no “SPIRITUAL OXYGEN”. This causes the whole being to become dysfunctional.
  1. FAITH vs FATE
  • FAITH is built on and of God’s WORD. It is for the born-again Believer. It gives triumph, dominion, victory — Romans 8:35-40 
  • FATE is the “whatever will be, will be” mentality of the non-believer/atheist. It is self-willed, without God’s essence. 
  • To live outside the WORD is to live by FATE — a robotic, self-willed mentality.
  1. The Damage of Ignoring the Spirit-Man
  • A traumatised, wounded or broken spirit cannot be fixed by chemicals alone. Medication may suppress the body but the SPIRIT-BEING remains undetected and unhealed — Proverbs 18:14; Proverbs 17:22 
  • Only THE WORD can diagnose and divide spirit, soul and body, and restore the MAN in the HU-MAN — Hebrews 4:12-13 
  • This is why the Proverbs and Psalms enjoin us to guard and feed our spirit — Proverbs 4:20-23; Psalm 119:97-100 
     
  1. Biblical Examples of WORD-Centred Living
  • JOB esteemed God’s WORD more than his necessary food — Job 23:12 
  • DAVID meditated on the law day and night. God’s WORD made him wiser and was a lamp to his path — Psalm 119:97-100, 105, 130 
  • Their hallmark for thriving was craving and esteeming THE WORD. 
     
  1. FAITH is Grace Access
  • FAITH is the GIVEN, ENDUED and ENDOWED access by THE MEASURE of divine providence to ACCESS THE HEAVENLY for EARTHLY ENDEAVOURS — Romans 12:3; Ephesians 4:7 
  • It is sustained by the WORD and makes one an overcomer and more than a conqueror — 1 John 5:3-5; Romans 8:37 
  • Miracles are a CONSEQUENCE of the WORD, not coincidence, magic or witchcraft. 

Call to Action 

  1. FEED YOUR SPIRIT-BEING HEALTHILY. Do not feed on random motivational thoughts. Intentionally and daily incline to God’s SAYING [WORD] before life circumstances damage you. 
  2. REJECT FATE. EMBRACE FAITH. Stop banking on “it is what it is” or a positive mindset. Choose to act on THE WORD in every context of need. 
  3. ESTEEM THE WORD ABOVE NECESSARY FOOD. Like Job and David, let the WORD be your meditation, lamp, light and medicine. 
  4. GUARD YOUR HEART/SPIRIT. For out of it are the issues of life. Ensure your SPIRIT-BEING is WHOLE so your soul and body function in wholeness — Proverbs 4:23; 1 Thessalonians 5:23 

Final Charge: 

THE SECRET OF ANY TRUE GREATNESS AND WHOLENESS IS IN THE SECRET OF THE WORD. IT GIVES LIFE TO YOUR BEING AND WELL-BEING. JUST THINK ABOUT IT TODAY AND ALWAYS!

THERE IS THE NEED TO BELIEVE IN ORDER TO BECOME: TO WHOM ON WHAT YOU DO BELIEVE – THAT MAKES YOU BECOME! 

“Now FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen . . . 3 By FAITH we UNDERSTAND that the WORLDS were FRAMED by THE WORD of God, so that the things which are SEEN were not MADE of things which are VISIBLE . . .6 But without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to PLEASE Him, for he who COMES to God must BELIEVE that He is, and that He is a REWARDER of those who DILIGENTLY seek Him” Hebrews 11:1, 3, 6 NKJV. 

FAITH is ACTING correspondingly on WHAT you BELIEVE from THE WORD OF GOD. 
As such, BELIEVE is not FAITH. BELIEVE is PASSIVE while FAITH is ACTIVE. 
This means that BELIEVE is the CONCEPTION while FAITH is the DELIVERY of the conceived WORD. You need to BELIEVE first for FAITH to be ACTIVATED. 
And FAITH is the CURRENCY of exchange and transactions in the Kingdom of God and of His Christ Jesus, on whose account we stand in life and grace. That is why your BELIEVING world is very important to make your FAITH effective and efficient — Philemon 1:6. 
And effective and efficient FAITH is based on THE WORD OF GOD and nothing more or less — Romans 10:17; 1 John 5:3-5. 

What you then BELIEVE determines your functionality in the Kingdom. Which means you are a product of your BELIEF and BELIEVING world. Do you BELIEVE in mere men, religion and the religious — dogmas, creeds, bylaws, traditions, philosophy and the rudiments — and traditions of this world more than God’s WORD? Would you rather BELIEVE in God’s authoritative, undiluted, undistorted and unadulterated WORD than in mere men of this world? You need to know that — YOU ARE WHAT YOU ARE AND HAVE BECOME BY YOUR BELIEF. Hence blame no one and do take responsibility and accountability for what you have BECOME all this while — for your BELIEF has defined either your FAITH — or otherwise your FATE. 

I hereby appeal to you to look inwards and DARE to BELIEVE now and again in the WORD with unhinged FAITH in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead, in order to BECOME in Him. Jesus said in Matthew 9:27-30 to two men seeking His help: “What do you BELIEVE?” 
Simplified as — Do you BELIEVE that I can do what you request? Their answer — “YES, LORD,” meaning WE BELIEVE, LORD! He replied to them that they should BECOME WHAT THEY BELIEVED. What they BECAME was found in WHOM [the WORD of the Lord] they BELIEVED. They RECEIVED their healings as they ACTED on their BELIEF in WHOM [the WORD of the Lord] they BELIEVED. 

FAITH in the BELIEVED WORD is the only legal and vital tender to PLEASE, SECURE and RECEIVE the heavenly outpouring — and it is expedient that you check your BELIEF before you take any step in the Kingdom if you want the heavens to be with you in it — Hebrews 11:1-3, 6; Romans 10:17; 1 John 5:3-5; Romans 14:23; Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:16-17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38. 

DARE TO BELIEVE AGAIN — FOR ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO THEM THAT BELIEVE — 
AND ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD UNTO US THAT BELIEVE. AMEN.

SUMMARY: 
The message talks about THE NEED TO BELIEVE IN ORDER TO BECOME, BECAUSE FAITH IS THE ACTIVE DELIVERY OF WHAT YOU BELIEVE FROM THE WORD OF GOD. 
Whom and what you believe determines what you become. Belief is the conception, Faith is the action. Faith is the currency of the Kingdom, and it only works when it is founded solely on the unadulterated WORD OF GOD.

Call to Action 

  1. AUDIT YOUR BELIEF: Is it men/tradition or God’s undiluted WORD? 
  2. DARE TO BELIEVE AGAIN: Believe the Word with unhinged faith in Christ Jesus. 
  3. ACTIVATE YOUR FAITH: Move from belief to action. Faith without works cannot deliver. 
  4. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY: “YOU ARE WHAT YOU ARE AND HAVE BECOME BY YOUR BELIEF.” Your belief defined your FAITH or your FATE. 
  5. EXPECT THE IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD in every step you take in the Kingdom.
