THE QUEST FOR GOD AND HIS KINGDOM: HIS KINGDOM IS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT! 

“For the KINGDOM of God is not a matter of EATING and DRINKING [what one likes], but of RIGHTEOUSNESS and PEACE and JOY in the Holy Spirit” Romans 14:17 (Amplified). 

The KINGDOM OF GOD in the course of doing life and living godly in grace, is much more about RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE and JOY in the Holy Spirit than about FOOD and DRINK and PLEASURE, as many will crave and even sell their FAITH and conscience to have and possess. 

God’s kingdom is of righteousness because the WORK OF RIGHTEOUSNESS is of Christ Jesus. It is efficacious and fruitful. It gives us the right to stand before God and to be emboldened in grace – without shame, without fear, feeling unsafe, insecure, or inferior -just as it is written concerning the WORK and EFFECT of righteousness: 

“And the WORK of RIGHTEOUSNESS shall be PEACE; and the EFFECT of RIGHTEOUSNESS QUIETNESS and ASSURANCE for ever” Isaiah 32:17. 

“And the FRUIT of righteousness is SOWN in PEACE of them that make PEACE” James 3:18. 

The WORK to have a righteous STAND with God in Christ Jesus stead gives PEACE and the EFFECT of that righteous STAND gives QUIETNESS and ASSURANCE for ever. What a position to take a stand in –  to enjoy God through life, in grace. 

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED by faith, we have PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also we have ACCESS by faith into this GRACE wherein we STAND, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God” Romans 5:1-2. 

Do ensure that your WORK OF RIGHTEOUSNESS with God leads you to PEACE – meaning, it brings about PEACE. And the RIGHTEOUS EFFECT eventually gives ASSURANCE and QUIETNESS, and not confusion, schism, or hopelessness.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“For Christ is the end of the law for RIGHTEOUSNESS to EVERY ONE THAT BELIEVETH” Romans 10:4 

“But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His KINGDOM and His RIGHTEOUSNESS [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also” Matthew 6:33 (Amplified). 

“For he hath MADE him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be MADE the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in him” 2 Corinthians 5:21. 

“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is MADE UNTO US wisdom, and RIGHTEOUSNESS, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 that, according as it is written, He that GLORIETH, let him GLORY in the Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31

“And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.” 

  1. THE RESULT OF TAKING A RIGHTEOUS STAND

The message emphasises that the WORK to have a righteous STAND with God in Christ Jesus gives PEACE. 
And the EFFECT of that righteous STAND gives QUIETNESS and ASSURANCE for ever. 

What a position to take — to stand in righteousness and enjoy God through life, in grace.

Do ensure that your WORK OF RIGHTEOUSNESS with God leads you to PEACE. 
The RIGHTEOUS EFFECT should give ASSURANCE and QUIETNESS, and not confusion, schism, or hopelessness. 

  1. CHRIST IS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS

The message anchors righteousness in Christ, not in human effort or law-keeping. 
Romans 10:4 
“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.” 
2 Corinthians 5:21 
“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 
1 Corinthians 1:30-31

AUGUST YOUR LIFE IN RIGHTEOUSNESS: THE WORK AND EFFECT ARE – PEACE, QUIETNESS AND ASSURANCE FOREVER! 

“And the WORK of RIGHTEOUSNESS shall be PEACE; and the EFFECT of RIGHTEOUSNESS will be QUIETNESS and ASSURANCE (CONFIDENT) for ever” Isaiah 32:17 (Emphasis Mine). 

Righteousness – The Kingdom’s streamline to AUGUST life – is the right of grace to stand upright in faith before Father God without fear, guilt, shame, or inferiority; and to be undaunted by the accuser of the brethren – the devil (1 Timothy 2:8; Revelation 12:20). 

The Scriptures indicate that the kingdom of God is not merely food, drink and pleasures, but RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE and JOY in the Holy Ghost. When we seek the kingdom of God first, and His righteousness – that is, His will, His commanded deeds, and His ways of doing and living life – ALL other things – food, drink, pleasures and more – will be added to us accordingly. 

Righteousness works, promotes and enhances PEACE with God, with self and others. PEACE – which means concord, agreement, harmony and a mind free from fear, agitating passions and moral conflicts. The result of righteousness is INWARD quietness, resolve, assurance and exaltation. 

I pray that as you resolve for righteousness, you will experience the WORK and EFFECT of the grace of God in this regard.

“But the wisdom from above is first PURE [morally and spiritually undefiled], then peace-loving [courteous, considerate], gentle, reasonable [and willing to listen], full of compassion and good fruits. It is unwavering, without [self-righteous] hypocrisy [and self-serving guile]. 18 And THE SEED whose FRUIT is righteousness (spiritual maturity) is SOWN in peace by those who make peace [by actively encouraging goodwill between individuals]” James 3:17-18.

James 3:17-18 adds: Wisdom from above sows the SEED whose FRUIT is righteousness in peace. Righteousness produces spiritual maturity and goodwill. 

  1. THE PRAYER AND CHARGE

The message ends with a prayer and a call to action: 
“I pray that as you resolve for righteousness, you will experience the WORK and EFFECT of the grace of God in this regard.” 

It is a call to choose righteousness intentionally so that you can walk in the dignity and stability of God’s peace, not in turmoil.

“BE CAREFUL FOR NOTHING; but in every thing by PRAYER and SUPPLICATION with THANKSGIVING let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And THE PEACE OF GOD, which PASSETH ALL UNDERSTANDING, shall keep your HEARTS and MINDS through Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:6-7. 

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING; tell God your needs, and don’t forget TO THANK HIM FOR HIS ANSWERS. 7 If you do this, you will EXPERIENCE GOD’S PEACE, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. The FAITH That WORKS: It PLEASES God through DILIGENCE! 

“But without FAITH it is impossible to PLEASE him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that DILIGENTLY seek him” Hebrews 11:6. 

The FAITH that WORKS, that is, productive and results oriented, is the FAITH that Is expressed through DILIGENCE. For diligence PLEASES God, and thus it locates and positions one effortlessly with kings – nobility, dignity and honour instead of the obscured, unproductive and mean men. 

“When a man’s ways PLEASE the Lord, he maketh even his ENEMIES to be at PEACE with him” Proverbs 16:7. 

And when you PLEASE God by your diligent ways, He makes the ENEMY and COHORTS to be at PEACE with you. What a better way to keep your enemy and cohorts at bay effortless in LIFE and GRACE, in order to keep you advancing the Kingdom Causes of our Good. 

And DILIGENCE is to be steadfast, steadily steady, earnestly earnest, smartly smart, energetic effort and consistently consistence onto the set and or given focus; and being SMART – effectual and efficient to accomplish the desired intent. 

Know full well that life in grace is not by HARDWORKING; it’s by being SMARTWORKING. 

The FAITH That WORKS – PLEASES God through DILIGENCE. And PLEASING God REWARDS Through DILIGENCE.

To MERRY is to be full and showing of high-spirited merriment, offering fun, being lively and energetic. So when you say MERRY CHRISTMAS, it thus mean, have fun, enjoy your day lively, have merriment where you can, especially for all that Christ Jesus, the REASON for the SEASON meant to you. For He’s Lord and God at BIRTH and now on the THRONE.

This Christmas as you merry, there’s the need to both OFFER and SHARE your FAITH and God’s LOVE in HOPE to others as the wise men of Matthew 2 did share three significantly gifts to Christ. Make and ensure that your LOVE and FAITH and HOPE in Christ Jesus count and account in someone else’s life this Christmas as in you and your dwelling place. Consider the NEEDY among you, and leave a memorable impact for life in them of God’s love and your faith.

Moreover, the affairs of the kingdom of God in relation to Christ birth is not only about been MERRY (Meat And Drink), but also of RIGHTEOUSNESS, JOY and PEACE in the Holy Ghost. So, ensure that in all your merriment of Christmas season, that there’s an act of joy, peace and righteous goodwill promised of God in it.

I pray all things work for your good to enable a MERRY CHRISTMAS that you can both share and offer LOVE, FAITH and HOPE in the righteous acts of PEACE, JOY and GOODWILL to others in the Holy Ghost. Amen.

THIS DECEMBER – THIS CHRISTMAS: LIVE WITHIN YOUR FAITH BY GOD IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD!

“Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the JUST shall LIVE by HIS faith” Habakkuk 2:4.

“Therefore I tell you, STOP BEING WORRIED or ANXIOUS (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life, as to what you will EAT or what you will DRINK; nor about your BODY, as to what you will WEAR. Is LIFE not more than food, and the BODY more than clothing? . . .” Matthew 6:25-34/Amplified.

In this Month DECEMBER – during the cause of this CHRISTMAS, it’s wise and expedient that you LIVE within your FAITH of God in Christ Jesus; that means, you must avoid, endeavour to run away and to completely keep at bay, the attitude of living beyond your resources in the name of celebrations; that means also to ENSURE that you do apply this prudence principle that assures good decision for your own good and goodness:

“RUN AWAY FROM THE DRIVE TO BUY TODAY IN DEBT – AND TO PAY LATER [TOMORROW] IN WORRY, PAIN, DEPRESSION, FEAR AND SUCH LIKE”

It’s PEACE and GOOD WILL toward men, we are promised in the scriptures and not a BROKEN, TROUBLED, TRAUMATISED, ANXIOUS and DEPRESSED spirit because of the INDEBTEDNESS and INFIGHTINGS within oneself and with others – all in the name of CHRISTMAS bad decisions – which results from the spirit of, the buying in INDEBTEDNESS to end up having no rest of the mind and of the PEACE, GOODWILL and TRANQUILITY as SCRIPTURALLY promised.

“And the angel said unto them, FEAR NOT: for, behold, I bring you GOOD TIDINGS of great JOY, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is BORN THIS DAY in the city of David a SAVIOUR, which is Christ the Lord . . . 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth PEACE, GOOD WILL toward men” Luke 2:10-14.

“Do NOT be ANXIOUS or WORRIED about ANYTHING, but in EVERYTHING [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the PEACE of God [that peace which REASSURES the heart, that peace] which TRANSCENDS all understanding, [that peace which] STANDS guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]” Philippians 4:6-8/Amplified.

You need not let what you can’t have or give ruin your faith and faithfulness because of – This CHRISTMAS in this DECEMBER. Therefore, in this Christmas, don’t be indebted, live within your faith and enjoy a peaceful life for the moment.

“LET NOT THE SPIRIT TO BUY IN DEBT TODAY AND KEEP WORRYING AFTERWARDS TO RUIN YOUR JOY AND RELATIONSHIP IN VIEW”.

Your HAPPINESS, JOY and PEACE are within your reach, don’t mess it up with a BROKEN, TROUBLED, TRAUMATISED and DEPRESSED spirit of indebtedness. Be in control and custodian of your WELL-BEING and let not COMPARISON of others and the LUST to show off, ruin your gracious happiness in Christ Jesus and family you love and care about, in such a time as – THIS CHRISTMAS!

Let it be ‘MERRY CHRISTMAS’ and not a ‘SADDENED INDEBTEDNESS CHRISTMAS’ for you, family, love ones and all those you care about.

LIFE IS WORTH LIVING – ONLY BY FAITH FOR THE JUSTIFIED IN CHRIST JESUS.
