ASSURED HOPE – MISSION GO

ASSURED HOPE – MISSION GO: THE APOSTOLIC MISSIONARY MANDATE! 

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All AUTHORITY has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 GO therefore and MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL THE NATIONS, BAPTIZING them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 TEACHING them to OBSERVE all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, EVEN TO THE END OF THE AGE” Amen” Matthew 28:18-20. 

The kingdom mandate and assignment is MISSION GO – it’s to GO to the ends of the earth with the Gospel, the good news of what Jesus has done for human redemption, thereby reconciling them to God by the commission WORD of reconciliation [2 Corinthians 5:17-21]. The Gospel is about reconciliation – the reconciling of men from their depraved state to the glorious redemption deed in Christ Jesus stead. The MISSION GO is built upon and about the ASSURED HOPE in the grace of the commission – signaling that: “HE WILL BE WITH US ALWAYS, UNTO THE ENDS OF THE AGE”. What an extraordinary hope to bank upon, being assured, while in obedience to the Mission Go in the grace, in Christ Jesus stead. 

“And this GOSPEL of the kingdom will be PREACHED in all the world as a WITNESS to all the NATIONS, and then the end will come” Matthew 24:14/NKJV. 

“But you shall RECEIVE power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be WITNESSES to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and TO THE END OF THE EARTH” Acts 1:8/NKJV. 

It’s the knowing and understanding that the cost of a soul it’s not measured by the things accumulated and owned [Psalms 49:6-9] but by the souls being saved, by the souls being restored from backsliding and by ensuring the growing of the lambs to sheep and by enhancing sheep to make more lambs. [Luke 15:1-32; John 21:15-17]. 

There’s NO ROOM for making just converts or members for applause but the making of DISCIPLES only, that go making other disciples in the grace, unto the ends of the earth in Christ Jesus’ stead. For it’s mission go, to seek and save that which is lost and reconcile back to the Father God in Christ Jesus stead. 

“For the Son of Man has come to SEEK and to SAVE that which was lost” Luke 19:10/NKJV 

The commissioned mission of the Church, which you are, as the Church – for the Church it’s not the architectural building or structure but you -, is MISSION . . . MISSION unto the ends of the earth: Soul Salvation, Backsliding Restoration and Growing the Church, in the grace in Christ Jesus stead.  

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“And He said to them, “GO into all the world and PREACH THE GOSPEL to every creature. 16 He who BELIEVES and is BAPTIZED will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these SIGNS will follow those who BELIEVE: In My NAME they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” 19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they WENT OUT and PREACHED EVERYWHERE, the Lord working with them and CONFIRMING THE WORD through the ACCOMPANYING SIGNS. Amen” Mark 16:15-20. 

“How I kept back nothing that was helpful [profitable], but PROCLAIMED it to you, and taught you PUBLICLY and from HOUSE to HOUSE, 21 TESTIFYING to Jews, and also to Greeks, REPENTANCE toward God and FAITH toward our Lord Jesus Christ” Acts 20:20-21. 

“For I am NOT ASHAMED of THE GOSPEL of Christ, for it is the POWER of God to SALVATION for EVERYONE who BELIEVES, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God is REVEALED from faith to faith; as it is written, “The JUST [RIGHTEOUS] shall LIVE by faith” Romans 1:16-17/NKJV. 

SUMMARY 

This message is a bold commissioning charge titled: ASSURED HOPE – MISSION GO: THE APOSTOLIC MISSIONARY MANDATE! 

It calls the Church — which is YOU — to arise in obedience to the Great Commission with the confidence that Christ’s presence and authority go with us to the ends of the earth. 

  1. THE MANDATE: AUTHORITY + ASSIGNMENT + ASSURANCE

  • THE GOSPEL IS RECONCILIATION: The good news of what Jesus has done for human redemption — reconciling men from a depraved state to the glorious redemption deed in Christ Jesus’ stead [2 Corinthians 5:17-21]. 
  • ASSURED HOPE: This mission is built on the promise — “HE WILL BE WITH US ALWAYS, UNTO THE ENDS OF THE AGE”. That is the extraordinary hope we bank on while obeying. 
  1. THE SCOPE AND POWER FOR MISSION
  • GLOBAL WITNESS: “And this GOSPEL of the kingdom will be PREACHED in all the world as a WITNESS to all the NATIONS, and then the end will come” Matthew 24:14/NKJV. 
  • EMPOWERED WITNESSES: “But you shall RECEIVE power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be WITNESSES to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and TO THE END OF THE EARTH” Acts 1:8/NKJV. 
  • SIGNS FOLLOW: The Lord works with us, CONFIRMING THE WORD through ACCOMPANYING SIGNS [Mark 16:15-20]. 
  1. THE VALUE SYSTEM OF THE MISSION

The cost of a soul is not measured by things accumulated and owned [Psalm 49:6-9] but by: 

  1. Souls being SAVED 
  2. Souls being RESTORED from backsliding [Luke 15:1-32] 
  3. Growing lambs to sheep, and sheep making more lambs [John 21:15-17] 

The heart of the mission: “For the Son of Man has come to SEEK and to SAVE that which was lost” Luke 19:10/NKJV 

  1. WHO YOU ARE IN THIS MISSION

The Church is not a building — YOU ARE THE CHURCH. 
Therefore, the commissioned mission of the Church is: 
MISSION . . . MISSION unto the ends of the earth: 
Soul Salvation, Backsliding Restoration and Growing the Church in the grace in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

Our lifestyle of mission: 

  • PROCLAIM PUBLICLY and from HOUSE to HOUSE, testifying REPENTANCE toward God and FAITH toward our Lord Jesus Christ [Acts 20:20-21] 
  • NOT ASHAMED of THE GOSPEL, for it is the POWER of God to SALVATION for everyone who believes [Romans 1:16-17/NKJV] 

CALL TO ACTION 

Dear friend, the command is clear: GO. 

  1. RECEIVE THE AUTHORITY: Jesus has ALL authority. You go in His name, not your strength. 
  2. EMBRACE THE ASSURANCE: He said “I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS”. You are not alone on this mission. 
  3. OBEY THE ASSIGNMENT: 
    GO – Step out. Talk to someone this week about Jesus. 
    MAKE DISCIPLES – Don’t just win people, walk with them. Baptize and Teach them to observe all He commanded. 
    PREACH THE GOSPEL – To every creature. Publicly and from house to house. 
    VALUE WHAT GOD VALUES: Stop counting applause, members, or things. Start counting souls saved, restored, and discipled. 
    LIVE THE GOSPEL: Be unashamed. Let the Gospel be the power of God through your life for salvation. 

Rise up Church! The fields are white. The Spirit is with us. The authority is given. The time is now. 
MISSION GO — unto the ends of the earth, until every nation has heard.

THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION

THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION: THE POWER OF GOD THAT CHANGES ALL THINGS – BOTH THE CHANGEABLE AND THE UNCHANGEABLE! 

“For I am not ASHAMED of the GOSPEL of Christ: for it is the POWER OF GOD unto SALVATION to everyone that BELIEVETH; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God REVEALED from FAITH to FAITH: as it is written, The JUST shall LIVE by FAITH” Romans 1:16-17 

SALVATION of men, which is FRUITFULNESS in the SPIRIT, is the most awesome essence of THE GOSPEL. It’s our global, inescapable and supreme task as God’s ambassadors in Christ Jesus’ stead. It’s high to live it out daily, to populate the heavens and depopulate hell, advancing the Kingdom cause of our God and in keeping the ENEMY and COHORTS at bay. 

When last did you, in passion and compassion, share the GOSPEL with your unsaved friend, family member, neighbour, colleague – those you do life and show your godly living to, time and again? Make it a new dawn for you to share this precious GOSPEL faith and fellowship with those you care about and are reachable – start with them. The salvation of a soul is costly, and no amount of earthly wealth or possessions can quantify and qualify the redemption of a soul. Only the gospel can – and will ALWAYS redeem a soul. Give it a go today.

THE PROMISES OF GOD – OUR DAILY LOADED BENEFITS: IT’S TO ENHANCE AND AUTHENTICATE OUR REDEMPTION!

“Let us HOLD FAST the profession of our faith without wavering; FOR HE IS FAITHFUL THAT PROMISED” Hebrews 10:23.

“God is FAITHFUL, by whom ye were CALLED unto the FELLOWSHIP of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:9.

Our God does not only want to meet up with our Daily Bread needs but He wants also to shower us with His ADD-ON BONUS, the DAILY LOADED BENEFITS – embedded in our RIGHTS and PRIVILEGES in Christ Jesus stead. Imagine having BONUS, an ADD-ON to your your normal daily earnings; that’s what it means to have BENEFITS to the NORMS daily BREAD that is generalised to ALL when you pray.

Our God will daily loads us with His benefits in REDEMPTION in order to authenticate our salvation in Him. That’s why you must not give up or give in to any limiting circumstances until you begin to be actualised God’s benefiting WILL, in your DAILY life.

Herein are simple few major reasons though not limited why Father God in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit in His WORD will authenticate His Daily Benefits:

* That you have in all sufficiency & abundance for yourself – wanting nothing – thereby give Him thanks. Philippians 4:17, 19; Ephesians 1:3; 2 Corinthians 8:9 (NIV/LB); John 10:10; 3 John 2.

* That the Gospel might advance & the enemy and cohorts kept at bay without limitations. Luke 8:1-3; Zechariah 1:17; Haggai 2:6-9.

* That you have plenty left over to give to others in great needs without murmuring withholding and complaining. Galatians 6:1-9; Hebrews 6:9-12. Luke 6:38.

* To make you, the saints in Christ Jesus, to abide in the FAITH – for poverty takes people away from the FAITH. And in seeking answers fall prey of ungodly, evil and dubious ways to prosper and achieve the desired greatness. Psalms 23:6; John 15:4-8; Psalms 112:1-3.

* To cleanse the Church of evil. POVERTY itself and POVERTY mentality leads to stealing, robbery, bribery and such likes. Proverbs 30:7-9; Psalms 112:3; Psalms 89:20-29, 34.

* To keep and establish the righteous in Dominion. Ecclesiastes 9:13-18; Ecclesiastes 7:12.

* To establish and authenticate His covenant. Deuteronomy 8:18; Psalms 89:34; Galatians 3:13-14, 26-29; Jeremiah 33:20-21, 25-26; James 1:17.

The ADD-ON BONUS of God it’s more gracious and graceful to live your life not just from the DAILY BREAD but from the DAILY LOADED BENEFITS; that’s the essence of knowing your RIGHTS and PRIVILEGES In REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus stead.

“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy WILL be DONE in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us THIS DAY our DAILY BREAD . . .” Matthew 6:9-15.

THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION: THE POWER OF GOD THAT CHANGES ALL THINGS – CHANGEABLE AND UNCHANGEABLE!

SALVATION of men, which is FRUITFULNESS in the SPIRIT, is the most awesome essence of THE GOSPEL. It’s our global, inescapable and supreme task, as God’s ambassadors in Christ Jesus stead. It’s a high and higher time to live it out daily, in order to populate the heavens and depopulate hell, by advancing the Kingdom cause of our God and in keeping the ENEMY and COHORTS at bay.

When last did you in passion and compassion share the GOSPEL to your unsaved friend, family member, neighbor, colleague and those about where you do life and express your godly living time and again. Make it a new dawn for you to share this precious GOSPEL faith and fellowship with those especially that you care about and are reachable to begin with. The salvation of a soul is costly and no amount of earthly wealth and possession can quantify and qualify the redemption of a soul. Only the gospel can and will ALWAYS redeem a soul. Give it a go today.
