HAVE FAITH IN GOD

June 8, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

HAVE FAITH IN GOD: FOR NO WORD MEANS NO FAITH – AND NO PLEASING OF GOD!

“. . . 2 And be not CONFORMED to this world: but be ye TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, that ye may PROVE what is that GOOD, and ACCEPTABLE, and PERFECT, will of God. 3 For I say, through THE GRACE GIVEN unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, ACCORDING as God hath DEALT to every man THE MEASURE OF FAITH” Romans 12:1-3.

We live in the days of divergent INFORMATION. And information generates what we BELIEVE and our BELIEVING trajectory, which invariably affects either our FAITH toward God or creates in us the attitude of FATE on other things. And INFORMATION is available in almost every facet of our way of doing life for various reasons; and most of the time, the information that is there may lure people away from the TRUTH for purposes intended to make them not HAVE FAITH IN GOD. And unfortunately, that is why the INFORMATION that is available in some sources is not TRANSFORMING and TRANSFORMATIVE for the good of doing life, to lead one to godly living – toward God and FAITH in our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.

Suffice it to know that FAITH is not BELIEVE and BELIEVE is not FAITH, though sometimes we use them interchangeably, which does not make spiritual, scriptural sense. FAITH is ACTIVE while BELIEVE is PASSIVE. And FAITH is acting correspondingly or accordingly on what you BELIEVE of and on God’s WORD and SAYINGS in SCRIPTURAL context.

FAITH comes by the HEARING and CONTINUOUS HEARING of God’s WORD. Faith does not come by HAVING HEARD, for FAITH is NOW and it is ACTIVE and not PASSIVE. It thus means: if FAITH can COME or be activated by the CONTINUOUS HEARING of God’s WORD, it means also FAITH can GO or be inactive due to the lack of REFRESHING of The WORD. Which then indicates that NO WORD means a NO FAITH, and NO PLEASING OF GOD – for FAITH PLEASES God Hebrews 11:6; and the consequence of NO FAITH is emptiness, noise-making, foolishness, stupidity, ignorance and God kept at a distance, for God can not dwell outside His WORD.

“So then FAITH cometh by HEARING, and HEARING by the WORD of God” Romans 10:17.

“But WITHOUT FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to [walk with God and] PLEASE Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] BELIEVE that God exists and that He REWARDS those who [EARNESTLY and DILIGENTLY] seek Him” Hebrews 11:6 Amplified.

Therefore, do yourself a FAVOUR and get back into the CONTINUOUS MOOD and REALM of the HEARING of The WORD of God, and not in stories or comments or analogy or make-believe of men and more, about the WORD. Your happiness and joy are within your reach. Do something about yourself, to ensure your FAITH works for your goodness, graciousness and gracefulness in every way.

“As he spake these words, many BELIEVED on him. 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which BELIEVED on him, If ye CONTINUE IN MY WORD, then are ye MY DISCIPLES indeed; 32 and ye shall KNOW THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH shall make you FREE” John 8:30-32.

I plead with you today and even now to HAVE FAITH IN GOD, for He is GOOD and FAITHFUL, TRUE and SURE to all His PROMISES, toward our path in doing life and living godly, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“So then FAITH cometh by HEARING, and HEARING by the WORD of God” Romans 10:17.

“But without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to PLEASE him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” Hebrews 11:6.

“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God OVERCOMETH THE WORLD: and this is the victory that OVERCOMETH THE WORLD, even our FAITH. 5 Who is he that OVERCOMETH THE WORLD, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:3-5.

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath DEALT to every man THE MEASURE OF FAITH” Romans 12:3.

“. . . 22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, HAVE FAITH IN GOD. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” Mark 11:12-14, 22-24.

SUMMARY:

The message opens with Romans 12:1-3: “Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” and “God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
Core thesis: Have faith in God: for no Word means no faith — and no pleasing of God [Hebrews 11:6]. Faith is sustained only by continuous hearing of God’s Word. In days of divergent information, only the Word produces transforming faith.

KEY POINTS

  1. Diagnosis of the Age: Divergent Information vs Truth
We live in days of divergent information. Information shapes what we believe and our believing trajectory. That trajectory either builds faith toward God or produces an attitude of fate toward other things.
Observation: Most available information lures people away from truth to prevent them from having faith in God. Much of it is not transforming/transformative for godly living. Only God’s Word leads to faith in our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.
  2. Key Distinction: Faith vs Believe
Suffice it to know that faith is not believe and believe is not faith, though we use them interchangeably.
    Definition:
  • Believe = passive — mental assent.
  • Faith = active — acting correspondingly on what you believe of and on God’s Word and sayings in scriptural context.
Faith is the obedient response to truth believed.
  1. Mechanics of Faith: It is “Now” and Sustained by Hearing
Romans 10:17: “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Doctrine: Faith comes by the hearing and continuous hearing of God’s Word. Faith does not come by “having heard” in the past.
Implication: If faith can come/activate by continuous hearing of the Word, then faith can also go/be inactive by lack of refreshing of the Word.
Formula: No Word = no faith = no pleasing of God.
Hebrews 11:6 Amplified: “Without faith it is impossible to please Him.” Consequence of no faith: emptiness, noisemaking, foolishness, stupidity, ignorance, and God kept at a distance, for God cannot dwell outside His Word.
  2. Pastoral Charge + Application
Therefore, do yourself a favour and get back into the continuous mood and realm of the hearing of the Word of God, and not in stories, comments, analogy, or make-believe of men about the Word.
Promise: Your happiness and joy are within your reach. Do something about yourself so your faith works for your goodness, graciousness and gracefulness in every way.
John 8:30-32: “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Freedom, discipleship, and victory come through abiding in the Word.
  3. Closing Plea + Character of God
I plead with you today and even now to have faith in God, for He is good and faithful, true and sure to all His promises, toward our path in doing life and living godly, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.
  4. Scriptural Thoughts Worth Pondering
The message reinforces the theology of faith with anchor texts:
  • Romans 10:17 – Faith comes by hearing the Word
  • Hebrews 11:6 – Without faith impossible to please God; He rewards diligent seekers
  • 1 John 5:3-5 – This is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith
  • Romans 12:3 – God has dealt to every man the measure of faith
  • Mark 11:22-24 – “Have faith in God… believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” — faith speaks + expects

In one sentence: The message is a warning against information overload without the Word, followed by a call to return to continuous hearing of God’s Word because faith is active, present-tense, and the only way to please God — and it is sustained only by the Word, not by past encounters or men’s opinions.

This works as a 3-part teaching outline: Problem: Information without Word → Principle: Faith is active + now → Practice: Continue in the Word to please God and overcome the world.

“HAVE FAITH IN GOD” FOR YOUR RIGHT STANDING

June 4, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

“HAVE FAITH IN GOD” FOR YOUR RIGHT STANDING: THIS IS TO HAVE FAITH IN GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS AND RIGHTEOUS CAUSE IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD!

“He MADE Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS of God [that is, we would be MADE ACCEPTABLE to Him and PLACED in a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him by His gracious lovingkindness]” 2 Corinthians 5:21/Amplified.

“For the KINGDOM of God is not eating and drinking, but RIGHTEOUSNESS and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 For he who SERVES Christ in these things is ACCEPTABLE to God and APPROVED by men” Romans 14:17-18/NKJV.

In the New Creation Testament context, RIGHTEOUSNESS means having a right stand and being acceptable before God, without shame, guilt, or condemnation, inferiority, doubtful disputing and such like in the grace, in Christ Jesus; and it’s the bestowed gift of God in the grace, made possible by salvation through REPENTANCE and JUSTIFICATION [declared righteous, discharged and acquitted). This righteousness gives us the enabling ACCESS to God in Christ Jesus stead. For anything contrary to God’s definition of righteousness, it’s a “filthy rags” righteousness (self-righteousness). For God’s righteousness and righteous cause, is the result of being a New Creation of God in Christ Jesus stead, nothing more and nothing else. And this act of God’s love to accept us into His Beloved, is empowered and being sustained by the Holy Spirit of righteousness.

“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God . . . 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the LOVE of God has been POURED OUT IN OUR HEARTS by the Holy Spirit who was given to us” Romans 5:1-2, 5/NKJV.

“Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, LIFTING UP HOLY HANDS, WITHOUT ANGER and DISPUTING or QUARRELING or DOUBT [in their mind]” 1 Timothy 2:8/Amplified.

“How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, 21 testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, REPENTANCE toward God and FAITH toward our Lord Jesus Christ” Acts 20:20-21.

“But we are all like an unclean thing, AND ALL OUR RIGHTEOUSNESSES ARE LIKE FILTHY RAGS; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away” Isaiah 64:6/NKJV.

It’s sad that religious and denominational divides exist due to misguided doctrinal teachings built on human structures, culture, tradition, etc. This creates sentiments, prejudice, delusion and dissimulation, which negating the foundation of Faith in Christ Jesus, which is freely given and available to all by Father God, for our RIGHTEOUSNESS and acts in the grace. God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS is by FAITH in Christ redemption, that justifies an individual personally in the grace; anything contractual should be discarded and vehemently rejected before it takes hold of you religiously and keeps you enslaved.

“Brethren, my heart’s DESIRE and PRAYER to God for Israel is that they may be SAVED. 2 For I bear them WITNESS that they have a ZEAL for God, but NOT ACCORDING TO KNOWLEDGE. 3 For they BEING IGNORANT OF GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS, and seeking to ESTABLISH their own righteousness, have not SUBMITTED to the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God. 4 For Christ is the END OF THE LAW FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS to EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES. 5 For Moses writes about the RIGHTEOUSNESS which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” 6 But THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF FAITH speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) 7 or “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, THE WORD OF FAITH which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and BELIEVE in your heart [spirit-being] that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto RIGHTEOUSNESS, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation . . .” Romans 10:1-13/NKJJV/Emphasis Mine.

Not “HAVING FAITH IN GOD” leads to indifference, religious outcry, humanism, sectarianism and denominational bias in Christian faith. This made Apostle Paul outburst to Galatians and Romans Churches – thinking of the stupidity/foolishness born out of ignorance.  Many today are in blindfolded states, slavery, bondages due to unscriptural addictions from the TRUTH.

“O foolish Galatians! Who has BEWITCHED you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? 2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by THE HEARING OF FAITH? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? 4 Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? 5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or BY THE HEARING OF FAITH?” Galatians 3:1-5.

In the Bible days of the Apostles, many were unwilling to accept God’s definition of righteousness in Christ Jesus. They became legalistic by their own self-made righteousness or bound by their tradition and cultural norms. Apostle Paul was critical of this, calling it a “DIFFERENT GOSPEL” or “ANOTHER GOSPEL” of righteousness and righteous cause.

The consequences are severe: It makes the WORD of God, of no effect (as Jesus told the Pharisees), and give room to schism, adulteration, and distortion of the truth; and unfortunately, the perpetuators not only mislead themselves and their followers, but also miss out on the transformation of their human hearts that comes from God’s goodness and grace. As a result, they remain self-centred and fleshly ruled, rather than being led by the Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus. And this non-acceptance of “HAVE FAITH IN GOD “and living by God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS has led many astray. Causing them to live by their own strength rather than being Spirit-ruled [Holy Spirit led] of God, in the grace in Christ Jesus stead.

“I marvel that you are TURNING AWAY so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a DIFFERENT GOSPEL, 7 which is not ANOTHER; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed” Galatians 1:6-9.

“Making THE WORD of God of NO EFFECT through your TRADITION which you have handed down. And many such things you do” Mark 7:13 [Matthew 15:6]/NKJJV.

“Some indeed preach Christ even from ENVY and STRIFE, and some also from GOODWILL: 16 The former preach Christ from SELFISH AMBITION, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains; 17 but the latter out of LOVE, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel. 18 What then? Only that in every way, whether in PRETENSE or in TRUTH, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice” Philippians 1:15-18.

Be it known that the individual or groups that are failing to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” in Christ Jesus stead for their righteousness have robbed themselves and others around them of the genuine blessedness of God in Christ Jesus. And many are entangled today with the adulteration and distortions of the truth by their sectarianism and denominational bias We ARE made righteous ONLY in Christ Jesus and not by the DO’S and DON’TS that we’ve used to cage people into a local assembly for our own selfishness, greed and enslavement. The freedom we’ve received of God in Christ Jesus stead, to serve and worship Him acceptably and worthily in His righteousness and righteous cause can be lost without faith in God’s definition.

“It was for this FREEDOM that Christ set us free [completely LIBERATING us]; therefore keep STANDING FIRM and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery [which you once removed]” Galatians 5:1/Amplified.

God made you righteous in Christ Jesus, and you need to intentionally live in the righteousness-consciousness and not in sin-consciousness anymore. And it’s for you to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” – trusting His definition of RIGHTEOUSNESS in us, which ought to be lived in the grace in Christ Jesus stead.

Beloved, our Father God, made us RIGHTEOUS, and to live in RIGHTEOUSNESS; and had made it possible in that He gave and embedded in us with a default setting of living in the righteousness-consciousness of Him, in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit of RIGHTEOUSNESS; and now we must live by being INTENTIONAL and PRAGMATIC about it, in order to ensure it always, in our daily living; otherwise one will give in to SIN and the SIN-CONSCIOUSNESS that contravenes the reality of our rights and privileges in redemption.

“Now then we are AMBASSADORS for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 FOR HE HATH MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US, WHO KNEW NO SIN; that we might be MADE the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in him” 2 Corinthians 5:20-21.

“But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit [Holy Spirit] of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit [Holy Spirit] of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit [Holy Spirit] is life because of RIGHTEOUSNESS. 11 But if the Spirit [Holy Spirit] of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you” Romans 8:9-11/NKJV/Emphasis Mine.

You are the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God MADE possible in Christ Jesus; therefore, live in it without alterations, adulteration, perversion and falsehood. For therein is the BEDROCK to thrive, to glory, to win, to triumph, to be victorious, to be an overcomer, and to be a more than conquerors in life and grace; also, to be dignified and fulfilled purposefully and meaningfully on the heavenly perspective for your earthly manifestations in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. For God by Christ Jesus has given us a righteous stand, upon which we can do life and live godly triumphantly to the fulness of our being.

“But of Him are ye IN Christ Jesus, who of God is MADE unto us wisdom, and RIGHTEOUSNESS, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 that, according as it is written, He that GLORIETH, let him glory in the Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31.

I want you to know by this writ, that anything else outside God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS in Christ Jesus for your conscience and consciousness is counterfeit, adulteration, delusional, perversion and falsehood in all areas of life ramifications and judgement in the light of God’s holy writ upon which we stand. And with SIN CONSCIOUSNESS, you will STAND before God to be scripturally charged as – guilty, shameful and with inferiority complex and prejudice and such like. While with RIGHTEOUSNESS CONSCIOUSNESS, you can take a STAND in grace to be without guilt, shame, inferiority complex, prejudice and such like, because you are taking a stand upon the deeds of Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

Beloved, it’s your new day, new dawn and a gracious time to raise your head up, shoulders high and on high heels of faith, in the CONSCIOUSNESS of being God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS in Christ Jesus stead, without prejudice, and dissimulation (hypocrisy) on all grounds. Take advantage of the knowledge and understanding received by this writ, to now “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”, in order to be effectual, to do life and live godly by God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS and righteous cause in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH READING AND PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Therefore if ANYONE is IN Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a NEW CREATION [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life] . . . 21 He MADE Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS of God [that is, we would be MADE ACCEPTABLE to Him and placed in a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him by His gracious lovingkindness]” 2 Corinthians 5:17-21/Amplified.

“Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. 13 And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 14 In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His disciples heard it . . . 20 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21 And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.” 22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “HAVE FAITH IN GOD. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart [Human Spirit], but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, BELIEVE that you receive them, and you will have them” Mark 11:12-14, 20-24/NKJV.

“When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” 28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you BELIEVE that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH LET IT BE [BECOME] TO YOU.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.” 31 But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country” Matthew 9:27-31/NKJV.

“Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY HIS FAITH” Habakkuk 2:4 [Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38]/NKJV.

“But what does it say? “The WORD is near you, in your mouth and in your heart [spirit-being]” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and BELIEVE in your heart [spirit-being] that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart [spirit-being] one BELIEVES unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever BELIEVES on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no DISTINCTION between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is RICH TO ALL who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” Romans 10:8-13/NKJV.

“Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. 3 By FAITH we understand that the worlds were framed by THE WORD of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible . . . 6 But without FAITH it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” Hebrews 11:1-3, 6/NKJV.

5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or BY THE HEARING OF FAITH?— 6 just as Abraham “BELIEVED God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would JUSTIFY the Gentiles by FAITH, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “IN YOU ALL THE NATIONS SHALL BE BLESSED.” 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham” Galatians 3:1-9/NKJV.

“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is MADE unto us wisdom, and RIGHTEOUSNES, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 that, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31.

“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; MUCH MORE THEY WHICH RECEIVE ABUNDANCE OF GRACE AND OF THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS shall REIGN IN LIFE by one, Jesus Christ . . . 21 that as sin hath reigned unto death, EVEN SO MIGHT GRACE REIGN THROUGH RIGHTEOUSNESS unto ETERNAL LIFE by Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 5:17-21.

5 For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” 6 But THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF FAITH speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) 7 or “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one BELIEVES unto RIGHTEOUSNESS, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation . . .” Romans 10:1-13.

“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the BLOOD of Jesus Christ his Son CLEANSETH us from ALL sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we DECEIVE ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9. If we CONFESS our sins, he is FAITHFUL and JUST to FORGIVE us our sins, and to CLEANSE us from all UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His WORD is not in us” 1 John 1:5-10.

Further Scriptural Reading In Context: Romans 4:1-25

HAVE FAITH IN GOD: DARE TO ACT ON IT ACCORDINGLY!

June 2, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

HAVE FAITH IN GOD: DARE TO ACT ON IT ACCORDINGLY!

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, ACCORDING as God hath DEALT to every man THE MEASURE of FAITH” Romans 12:3.

“But unto EVERY ONE of us is GIVEN GRACE ACCORDING to THE MEASURE of the GIFT of Christ” Ephesians 4:7.

For you are given THE MEASURE of faith in Christ Jesus – dare to act on it accordingly and become in life and grace.

God in His grace in Christ Jesus, has ACCORDINGLY dealt to you THE MEASURE of FAITH and THE MEASURE of GRACE to enable you BECOME in Him. Using “THE” measure and not “A” measure as used in Romans 12:3 and Ephesians 4:7, this indicates the leverage. In other words, THE measure of FAITH you need to DEAL measurably with the MOUNTAIN, VALLEY, CROOKED ROAD and ROUGH PLACES you are facing right now or later is readily within you. Dare to BELIEVE and act on it accordingly and then BECOME what you BELIEVE.

Faith is ACTIVE and not PASSIVE. BELIEVE is Passive and it’s to conceive the WORD for FAITH to act upon. FAITH then is acting on what you BELIEVE of God’s WORD accordingly and correspondingly in CONTEXT to that matter in the grace.

So, stop seeking the MIRACLE that is already within your reach. For you’ve been GIVEN the enabling GRACE to BECOME ACCORDING to THE MEASURE of the GIFT of Christ Jesus. Amen.

Faith is the VICTORY to the challenges and circumstances of life that you ARE going through right now, or you may likely go through. All the scriptural requirements are for you to – HAVE FAITH IN GOD! Your testimony is within your reach if you can take God’s word as it is. Your triumph, victory and overcoming are within you in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

BE BLESSED.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“But WITHOUT FAITH it is impossible to PLEASE Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a REWARDER of them that DILIGENTLY seek Him” Hebrews 11:6.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the VICTORY that overcometh the world, even our FAITH. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5.

“And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, HAVE MERCY ON US. 28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe Ye That I Am Able To Do This? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH BE IT UNTO YOU” Matthew 9:27-29.

“And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: 13 and seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. 14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter forever. And his disciples heard it . . . 20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things SOEVER ye desire, when ye pray, BELIEVE that ye RECEIVE them, and ye shall HAVE them” Mark 11:12-14, 20-24.

“But what saith it? The WORD is nigh thee, even in thy MOUTH, and in thy HEART: that is, THE WORD OF FAITH, which we preach; 9 that if thou shalt CONFESS with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt BELIEVE in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the HEART man BELIEVETH unto righteousness; and with the mouth CONFESSION is made unto SALVATION. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever BELIEVETH on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no DIFFERENCE between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that CALL upon him. 13 For WHOSOEVER shall CALL upon the name of the Lord shall be SAVED” Romans 10:8-13.

“The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, YE HAVE DWELT LONG ENOUGH IN THIS MOUNT: 7 TURN YOU, AND TAKE YOUR JOURNEY, AND GO TO THE MOUNT of the Amorites, and UNTO ALL THE PLACES nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates. 8 Behold, I HAVE SET THE LAND BEFORE YOU: GO IN AND POSSESS THE LAND which the Lord sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them” Deuteronomy 1:6-8.

“The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 Every VALLEY shall be EXALTED, and every MOUNTAIN and HILL shall be made LOW: and the CROOKED shall be made STRAIGHT, and the ROUGH places PLAIN: 5 and the GLORY of the Lord shall be REVEALED, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it” Isaiah 40:3-5.

SUMMARY:

The message is talking about HAVING FAITH IN GOD and ACTING on it accordingly to experience victory, breakthrough, and becoming what you believe in life and grace.

It emphasises that you’ve been given THE MEASURE of faith in Christ Jesus (Romans 12:3, Ephesians 4:7), and this measure is sufficient to deal with any challenge (mountains, valleys, crooked roads, rough places). Faith is active, not passive — it’s acting on what you believe of God’s Word. You’ve been given enabling GRACE to become according to THE MEASURE of the GIFT of Christ Jesus.

Key points:

  1. THE measure of FAITH you need is READILY WITHIN YOU.
  2. Stop seeking miracles; act on the faith you’ve got.
  3. Dare to BELIEVE and act, then BECOME what you BELIEVE.
  4. Faith is the VICTORY to life’s challenges.

Scriptures used in this message (Romans 12:3, Ephesians 4:7, Hebrews 11:6, 1 John 5:4-5, Matthew 9:27-29, Mark 11:12-14, 20-24, Romans 10:8-13, Deuteronomy 1:6-8, Isaiah 40:3-5).

THE EFFECTUAL FAITH

May 27, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE EFFECTUAL FAITH: THE FAITH THAT WORKS – IS BY ACTING CORRESPONDINGLY ON YOUR BELIEVE OF GOD’S WORD!

“My son, give ATTENTION to MY WORDS; INCLINE YOUR EAR TO MY SAYINGS. 21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; 22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. 23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life” Proverbs 4:20-23/NKJV

Faith in the WORD or the SAYINGS of God makes all the difference. FAITH is ACTING correspondingly on your BELIEVE on and in the WORD – the SAYINGS of God. FAITH is not BELIEVE and there’s no FAITH at work until you ACT on that which you BELIEVE of God. Meaning NO ACTING ON THE WORD, NO FAITH, hence NO RESULTS!

Faith is the only legal and vital tender to obtain from the Father God. Any other process or means is illegal, counterfeit and criminal. FAITH IS NOT A DOCTRINE or CREED or DOGMAS or PHILOSOPHY or TRADITION or CULTURE. It’s not an assumption or presumption. It’s ACTING on trust in God’s Word or sayings without an iota of doubt or disbelief.

If you BELIEVE and don’t ACT on it, you’ve not endorsed FAITH. If you confess or declare as religion enjoins us and you don’t act accordingly, there’s no faith and you receive not from God. You may receive from men, but not from God.

The FAITH that WORKS and that’s effectual – EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT – is the faith communicated in hope. Hence communicate your faith in hope, as it’s written:

“Now FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1.

Also, the FAITH that WORKS and that’s effectual – EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT – is the faith communicated in hope through love as it’s written:

“. . . But FAITH which WORKS by LOVE” Galatians 5:6.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, 5 hearing of thy LOVE and FAITH, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; 6 that the COMMUNICATION OF THY FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:4-6.

“But without FAITH (acting on what you believe of God’s WORD) it is impossible to PLEASE (receive answers from) Him (God), for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” Hebrews 11:6/Emphasis mine.

Further Scriptural Read – Hebrews 11:1-3; Habakkuk 2:4; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Romans 14:23; Proverbs 4:20-23; 1 Corinthians 13.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises that true faith is not just a mental assent or passive belief, but an active trust in God’s Word that leads to action. It’s about acting on what you believe about God’s Word, without doubt or disbelief.

Key Points

  • Faith is acting correspondingly on your believe of God’s Word (Proverbs 4:20-23).
  • Faith is not just believing, it’s acting on what you believe (Hebrews 11:6).
  • Faith is the only legal and vital tender to obtain from God (Hebrews 11:6).
  • Faith is not a doctrine, creed, or dogma, but acting on trust in God’s Word.
  • The faith that works is communicated in hope (Hebrews 11:1) and through love (Galatians 5:6).

Scriptural Emphasis

  • References Proverbs 4:20-23, Hebrews 11:1, 6, Galatians 5:6, and Philemon 1:4-6, highlighting the importance of acting on faith, and communicating faith in hope and love.

Main Takeaways

  • Faith without action is no faith at all.
  • Acting on God’s Word is the key to receiving from God.
  • Faith is effective when communicated in hope and love.
  • True faith is a vital, active, and effectual force that produces results.

AFD JUNE 2026

June 1, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

WELCOME TO MONTH JUNE 2026: THE MONTH ENTITLED TO – “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” – IN CHRIST JESUS!

“. . . 22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” . . .” Mark 11:22 [12-14, 20-24].

“. . . 28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you BELIEVE that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH LET IT BE [BECOME] TO YOU” . . .” Matthew 9:28-29 [27-31]/NKJV.

Shalom Beloved of God! Welcome to Month June 2026!! And Kingdom greetings, in the gracious and graceful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.!!!

I graciously welcome you to Month June, the Month to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”, which is “About Becoming What You BELIEVE Of God In Christ Jesus Stead, In The Grace”. I’m praying that as you receive this writ, all things have come under your foot and control, and you are taking charge of your circumstances, to enable you do life and live godly in the grace effortlessly; and in enjoying to serve our God in Christ Jesus through the Holy Spirit, by His WORD, acceptably, and worship Him worthily; and without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation, in the love, that gives us such freedom beyond words and terms, in human comprehension.

The essence of the Month June Theme – “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”, is to help the believing one of God in Christ Jesus, not to have faith in an abstract, rather, to be able to have and exercise faith, in the living, good and faithful, true and sure God; just as the theme essences is “ABOUT BECOMING WHAT YOU BELIEVE OF GOD” in Christ Jesus stead in the grace.

So, what then is an ABSTRACT to begin with?

  • To consider a concept without thinking of a specific example – consider abstractly or theoretically.
  • Having a context or concept that is existing only in the mind – separated from embodiment.
  • Having a context or concept that is not representing or imitating external reality or the objects of nature.
  • Dealing with a subject in the abstract without practical purpose or intention.
  • Having a concept or idea not associated with any specific instance.
  • Having a sketchy summary of the main points of an argument or theory.

And in course of the enabling grace giving to me in many encounters of my personal relationship and fellowship with God and His precious people, I have come to know and understand that most people tend to claim to know and have a context and concept to HAVE FAITH IN GOD; but in reality, they can’t actually articulate to enact and authenticate that Faith, to enable them to practically make their knowledge and understanding, to make that Faith acclaimed, tangible in order to BECOME their reality in the faith, in the grace, in Christ Jesus stead.

Therefore, to HAVE FAITH IN GOD in context, is to have faith in His WORD in Christ Jesus for a start, by whom we are bestowed access and wholeness to His presence in fellowship to enjoy the relationship of His being, through and through, as our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, who is and was both man and God in humanity for our sake. [Hebrews 2:14-15; Acts 4:22; 1 Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 12:2; Hebrews 1:1-4].

And it’s on this foundation that we can communicate effectively – to be results-oriented and productive to every of our act of doing life and living godly in the grace. More so, we can be overcomers, triumphant, victorious and more than conquerors over the world system, that’s stirring on our faces by the act to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” in Christ Jesus stead as written:

“That the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the ACKNOWLEDGING of every GOOD THING which is IN you IN Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6.

“For whatever is born of God OVERCOMES the world. And this is the VICTORY that has OVERCOME THE WORLD—our FAITH. [5] Who is he who OVERCOMES THE WORLD, but he who BELIEVES that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5.

And to HAVE FAITH IN GOD, you must BELIEVE first, because BELIEVE is passive, and it’s to conceive and be pregnant with the WORD, to enable FAITH to be activated upon it. For Faith is active, hence Faith is acting correspondingly upon the believe word of God in context, in the grace accordingly.

The MONTH JUNE, is the sixth [6] month and the end month of the first half of the calendar year, in the Gregorian and Julian calendar Month; and it’s the 2nd of the 4th in number, of the months of thirty [30] days in the twelve [12] months annual calendar.

And as in Month JUNE, the name JUNE, is also a lovely given name to the female gender of the sexes which is of great significance. For the Month JUNE as in the name JUNE, expresses in essence, the FULLNESS of life, and it’s of a profound FULFILMENT of desires and vitality. Thus, it indicates how by Having Faith in God in Christ Jesus, God wants us to THRIVE instead of SURVIVE, and to live in His BLESSEDNESS while fulfilling His PURPOSE in us MEANINGFULLY, in all of our life endeavours, as we do life and live godly in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

And the best place of having the FULNESS of Life and profound FULFILMENT of desires and vitality is by engaging and following in obedience, God’s plan PATH for your life as in the holy writ of the scriptures. [Ephesians 2:10; Psalms 16:11; Proverbs 4:18-23; Colossians 4:17; Romans 8:28-30; Ephesians 1:11; Philippians 2:1-18]. And you can only be able to follow the set plan of God in the grace when you “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” in the grace in Christ Jesus stead.

It’s my earnest desires that in the course of this month writings and by other format of preaching and teaching, to expatiate in expository why you have to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” and make it tangible to your reality, instead of living in abstract in the mind while thinking that’s Faith in God in Christ Jesus stead.

Do have an awesome Month June, and BECOME as you BELIEVE of God’s WORD in context, through FAITH in acknowledging what God has done in you, doing in you and doing through you, by the WORD and the BLESSED Holy Spirit, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

Blessed regards in God’s BLESSEDNESS in the grace.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH READING IN CONTEXT:

5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or BY THE HEARING OF FAITH?— 6 just as Abraham “BELIEVED God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would JUSTIFY the Gentiles by FAITH, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “IN YOU ALL THE NATIONS SHALL BE BLESSED.” 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham” Galatians 3:1-9/NKJV

SUMMARY:

The message welcomes readers to June 2026, themed “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”, encouraging believers to focus on having faith in a living, good, faithful, true, and sure God, rather than an abstract concept.

The Essence of the Theme

The theme is about becoming what you believe of God in Christ Jesus, in the grace. It’s about aligning with God’s nature and character, through faith in Christ Jesus. The goal is to help believers move from having faith in an abstract concept to exercising faith in a real, living God.

What is Abstract Faith?

Abstract faith is having a concept or idea without practical application or embodiment. It’s having faith in something that exists only in the mind, without tangible reality.

The Importance of Faith in God

Faith in God is not just a mental assent, but a living, active, and practical trust in God’s Word and character. It’s about believing in God’s goodness, faithfulness, and promises, and acting accordingly.

Key Scriptures

The message highlights several scriptures, including Mark 11:22, Matthew 9:28-29, and Hebrews 11:1-3, emphasising the importance of faith in God and the power of believing in God’s Word.

The Power of Believing

Believing is passive, while faith is active. When we believe, we conceive and become pregnant with God’s Word, and faith is activated to bring it to pass.

June: A Month of Fulfillment

June represents fullness of life, fulfillment of desires, and vitality. It’s a month to thrive, not just survive, and to live in God’s blessedness while fulfilling His purpose.

JUNE 2026 THEME – “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”

June 1, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

JUNE 2026 THEME – “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”: THE NEED TO “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD!

“God is FAITHFUL [He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise—He can be depended on], and through Him you were called into FELLOWSHIP with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:9/Amplified.

To “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” is to trust in God’s faithfulness to Himself, reflecting His nature faithfulness through the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Our God is FAITHFUL – that is His NATURE. He’s a God of FAITHFULNESS – He lives within Himself – His NATURE – being FAITHFUL in FAITHFULNESS in the grace. And as such, in achieving life’s goals with God in Christ Jesus stead, it would be great for you to look at the nature of God regarding FAITHFULNESS as found of Him. And having Faith in God as a Faithful God gives the leverage in doing life and living godly in the grace. And it also encompasses God’s faithfulness to keep to His promises and covenant TO you in Christ Jesus stead, in the grace.

“FAITHFUL and ABSOLUTELY TRUSTWORTHY is He who is CALLING you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will FULFILL His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own]” 1 Thessalonians 5:24/Amplified.

“Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY and FAITHFUL [to His word]” Hebrews 10:23/Amplified.

“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy FAITHFULNESS to all generations. 2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy FAITHFULNESS shalt thou establish in the very heavens. 3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, 4 thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. 5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy FAITHFULNESS also in the congregation of the saints . . .” Psalms 89:1-52.

There’s the need to note this importantly, that God DOES not have direct promises or covenant as some would like to proclaim WITH us; but He DOES have direct promises or covenant TO us and FOR us IN Christ Jesus stead. Meaning, that God DOES have promises and covenant WITH Jesus Christ, on our behalf in the grace. This highlights the IMPORTANCE of having FAITH IN Christ Jesus toward the Father God, from whom ALL BLESSEDNESS comes, as Christ Jesus is the embodiment of our redemption rights and privileges in the grace. So, when we talk about God’s covenants and promises, they ARE NOT DIRECTLY with us, but with Jesus, on our behalf, to us, in the grace. This understanding is key, as seen in the book of Philemon and other New Testament Scriptures, emphasising faith toward God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“That the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become effectual by the ACKNOWLEDGING of EVERY GOOD THING which is IN you IN Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6.

“How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, 21 testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, REPENTANCE toward God and FAITH toward our Lord Jesus Christ” Acts 20:20-21/NKJV.

“But as God is FAITHFUL, our word to you was not Yes and No. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was PREACHED among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was YES. 20 For all the PROMISES of God in Him are YES, and in Him AMEN, to the glory of God through us. 21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee” 2 Corinthians 1:18-22/NKJV.

Here are some attributes of God in His faithful nature and faithfulness; this is to enable us see the reason and gracious essence to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” as in this writ context but not limited to:

  1. God is FAITHFUL to Himself. 2 Timothy 2:13.
  2. God is FAITHFUL to His Word and promises. Hebrews 10:23.
  3. God is FAITHFUL to His relationship. 1 Corinthians 1:9; Hebrews 8:28-30.
  4. God is FAITHFUL to forgive. 1 John 1:9 (5-10).
  5. God is FAITHFUL in agreement. Deuteronomy 7:9.
  6. God is FAITHFUL to establish and deliver. 1 Corinthians 10:13, 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
  7. God is FAITHFUL to accomplish His part in the assignment that He gives to us. 1 Thessalonians 5:24.
  8. God is the/a FAITHFUL creator. 1 Peter 4:19.

God is FAITHFUL, and His FAITHFULNESS is ever sure and true as in the Holy Writ. You need to take time to search the scriptures and find God everywhere therein. So, I encourage you to kindly read the HOLY BIBLE to know more of Him, in being faithful and how to walk in faith as shown in scriptures like:

“You SEARCH the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which TESTIFY of Me” John 5:39/NKJV.

“Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God” Matthew 22:29/NKJV.

“Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and SEARCHED the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. 12 Therefore many of them believed, and also not a few of the Greeks, prominent women as well as men” Acts 17:10-13.

One thing is certain in life and that is – LIKE BEGAT LIKE. A tree doesn’t give birth to an animal or mammal. A Lion doesn’t give birth to a Leopard, nor a Goat give birth to a Sheep even in their proximity of likeness or characteristics. And our God of godliness, wants His redeemed children of godliness to do life and live godly in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“Grace and peace be MULTIPLIED unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 according as his DIVINE POWER hath GIVEN unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto LIFE and GODLINESS, through the knowledge of him that hath CALLED us to glory and virtue: 4 whereby are GIVEN unto us EXCEEDING GREAT and PRECIOUS PROMISES: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” 2 Peter 1:2-4.

One need to know full well that we are the offspring of God, the sheep of His pasture according to the Scriptures – [[Acts 17:24-29; Psalms 100:3; 1 John 4:17-18); (John 10:34-35; Psalms 82:6; Genesis 3:5)]. It then means that we can live a FAITHFUL life and achieve good successes with God when we dare. The other reason that we can achieve success is because we are the seed of Abraham – who was FAITHFUL and prospered when he dares. The same grace is available to us today despite our challenges to be FAITHFUL and to prosper in Christ Jesus stead. 2 Peter 1:2-4; Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29. (See Genesis 13:2; 24:1).

Considering the above-mentioned nature of God in being FAITHFUL, you can bank on His FAITHFULNESS in His grace and BLESSEDNESS; this will give you the enabling leverage to abound the more, in sharing and partaking of His promises in the REDEMPTION DEED, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. And you can now have a reason to see the need to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” in Christ Jesus stead, in the grace.

Be Blessed accordingly. Amen.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH READING AND PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

BELIEVE BEFORE YOU ACT

March 23, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

BELIEVE BEFORE YOU ACT: FAITH IS ACTING ACCORDINGLY ON WHAT YOU BELIEVE OF GOD’S WORD IN THE CONTEXT Of Need!

“And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD OF HIS GRACE, which is able to BUILD you up, and to GIVE you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED (SET APART)” Acts 20:32.

You need to BUILD up your life on God’s WORD to enhance the quality of life God intends, rather than relying on qualities built outside God’s WORD. It’s very important that you do not build your life on qualities that make you – ACT on PRESUMPTION – leading to misconceptions; ACT in MAKE-BELIEVE; ACT on SENTIMENTS – leading to prejudice and dissimulation; or ACT on SUSPICION – leading to misinformation. These lead to a state of mere RELIGION – resulting in sectarianism and religious blindfold. Know that God’s intent daily is about you having LIFE in fulness, in His GRACE and not RELIGION and religious dogmas and blindfold. For the cause of experiencing the good and goodness of God is the reason your faith should be built on the essence of the ‘Word of Faith’ in God – where LIFE in the GRACE, is of the person of Christ Jesus. Amen.

10 For with the HEART man BELIEVETH unto righteousness; and with the MOUTH CONFESSION is made unto salvation . . . 17 So then FAITH COMETH BY HEARING, and HEARING by THE WORD of God” Romans 10:8-10, 17.

You are either BUILDING on God’s APPROVALS for you or on Men APPLAUDS for you, or on self-made ASSERTIONS. Know in essence again that FAITH in God comes by HEARING, and the HEARING by the WORD of God. You can either have FAITH in the WORD of God, to enable you TRIUMPH and OVERCOME the challenges in your WORLDS of doing LIFE and GRACE, or you can have FATE in your make-believe to suit your being and live with the side effects it brings.

“Study to shew thyself APPROVED unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing [applying] the word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15/Emphasis mine.

“Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man APPROVED of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know” Acts 2:22.

FAITH is only OPERATIVE if you BELIEVE in the WORD accordingly. I want you to be reminded and to know full well that BELIEVE is not FAITH. BELIEVE is PASSIVE while FAITH is ACTIVE. Hence a mere ACTING without a BELIEVE on the WORD in reference to your worlds of needs and circumstances, is acting on a fool paradise of presumption and it’s full of emptiness. That’s why the CHANGES you so much DESIRED to enable you THRIVE instead of being a SURVIVAL as you’ve craved, pursue and seek to obtain ANSWERS may not have worked out as duly expected, in your LIFE and GRACE journeys.

Life with God is not by POWER and MIGHT and SELF-INDULGENCE but by God’s Spirit which is a consequence of God’s WORD truly BELIEVED upon – Romans 14:17; Zachariah 4:6. Therefore BELIEVE in God and on His WORD, to enable you ACT accordingly in order to rightly RECEIVE from Him.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, HAVE FAITH IN GOD. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, BELIEVE that ye RECEIVE them, and ye shall have them” Mark 11:22-24.

10 For with the HEART man BELIEVETH unto righteousness; and with the MOUTH CONFESSION is made unto salvation . . . 17 So then FAITH COMETH BY HEARING, and HEARING by THE WORD of God” Romans 10:8-10, 17.

“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst BELIEVE, ALL THINGS are POSSIBLE to him that BELIEVETH” Mark 9:23.

“And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is IMPOSSIBLE, but not with God: for with God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE” Mark 10:27.

“Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders OBTAINED a good report. 3 Through FAITH we understand that the WORLDS WERE FRAMED BY THE WORD of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear . . . 6 But WITHOUT FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to please him: for he that cometh to God must BELIEVE that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that DILIGENTLY seek him” Hebrews 11:1-3, 6.

“Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: BUT THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY HIS FAITH” Habakkuk 2:4 (Hebrews 10:38; Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11).

“And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: FOR WHATSOEVER IS NOT OF FAITH IS SIN” Romans 14:23.

SUMMARY:

This message emphasises the importance of building life on God’s Word, acting on faith, and believing in God’s promises.

The message highlights that:

  • Faith is acting according to what you believe about God’s Word in the context of your needs.
  • You should build life on God’s Word, not on presumption, make-believe, sentiments, or suspicion, which lead to religion and sectarianism.
  • God’s intent is for you to have life in fullness, in His grace, not religion.
  • Faith comes by hearing God’s Word, and it’s active, whereas “believe” is passive.
  • Acting without believing God’s Word leads to emptiness.
  • You can either build on God’s approvals or men’s applause/self-made assertions.
  • Faith in God’s Word enables triumph and overcoming challenges.
  • Key scriptures like Mark 11:22-24, Romans 10:8-10,17, and Hebrews 11:1-3,6 emphasised on faith, believing, and acting on God’s Word.

The message encourages you to believe in God and His Word, act accordingly, and receive from Him.

HAVE FAITH IN GOD

June 8, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

HAVE FAITH IN GOD: NO WORD, NO FAITH – NO PLEASING OF GOD!

Firstly, FAITH is not BELIEVE. FAITH is ACTIVE while BELIEVE is PASSIVE. FAITH is acting correspondingly or accordingly on what you BELIEVE of and on God’s WORD and SAYINGS.

FAITH comes by the HEARING and CONTINUOUS HEARING of God’s WORD. Faith does not come by HAVING HEARD, for FAITH is NOW and it’s ACTIVE and not PASSIVE.

It thus means if FAITH can COME or activated by the CONTINUOUS HEARING of God’s WORD, it means also FAITH can GO or be inactive due to the lack of the REFRESHING of The WORD. It thus means NO WORD, NO FAITH, NO PLEASING OF GOD – otherwise emptiness and noise making and God at distance.

Do yourself a FAVOUR and get back into the CONTINUOUS MOOD and REALM of the HEARING of The WORD of God and not in stories or comments or analogy or make-believe of men and more, about the WORD. Your happiness and joy is within your reach. Do something about you, to ensure your FAITH works for your goodness, graciousness and gracefulness in everyway.

Therefore, HAVE FAITH IN GOD, for He’s FAITHFUL, TRUE and SURE, to all His PROMISES.

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, HAVE FAITH IN GOD. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” Mark 11:22-24.

HAVE FAITH IN GOD

June 8, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

HAVE FAITH IN GOD: FOR A NO WORD, MEANS A NO FAITH – AND A NO PLEASING OF GOD!

We live in the days of divergence INFORMATION. And information generates what we BELIEVE and our BELIEVING trajectory, which invariably affects either our FAITH toward God or create in us the attitude of FATE on other things. And INFORMATION is available in almost every facet of our ways of doing life for various reasons; and majority of the time, the information that are there may lure people away from the TRUTH for the intended purpose for them not to HAVE FAITH IN GOD. And unfortunately, that’s the reason why the INFORMATION that are available in some sources are not TRANSFORMING and TRANSFORMATIVE for the good of doing life to lead one to godly living – toward God and FAITH in our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. Suffice to know that FAITH is not BELIEVE and BELIEVE is not FAITH though sometimes we use them interchangeably which doesn’t make spiritual scriptural context sense.

Faith does not come by HAVING HEARD, for FAITH is NOW and it’s ACTIVE and not PASSIVE. It thus means if FAITH can COME or be activated by the CONTINUOUS HEARING of God’s WORD, it means also FAITH can GO or be inactive due to the lack of the REFRESHING of The WORD. Which then indicates that a NO WORD, means a NO FAITH, and a NO PLEASING OF GOD – for FAITH PLEASES God Hebrews 11:6; and the consequence of a NO FAITH is emptiness, noise making, foolishness, stupidity, ignorance and God kept at a distance, for God can’t dwell outside His WORD.

Therefore, do yourself a FAVOUR and get back into the CONTINUOUS MOOD and REALM of the HEARING of The WORD of God and not in stories or comments or analogy or make-believe of men and more, about the WORD. Your happiness and joy is within your reach. Do something about you, to ensure your FAITH works for your goodness, graciousness and gracefulness in every way.

I plead to you today and even now to HAVE FAITH IN GOD, for He’s GOOD and FAITHFUL, TRUE and SURE to all His PROMISES, toward our path in doing life and living godly, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“So then FAITH cometh by HEARING, and HEARING by the WORD of God” Romans 10:17.

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath DEALT to every man THE MEASURE OF FAITH” Romans 12:3.

THE EFFECTUAL FAITH

May 26, 2025 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE EFFECTUAL FAITH: THE FAITH THAT WORKS – IS BY ACTING CORRESPONDINGLY ON YOUR BELIEVE OF GOD’S WORD!

Faith in the WORD or the saying of God makes all the difference.

Faith is the only legal and vital tender to obtain from the father God, any other process or means is illegal, counterfeit and criminal. FAITH IS NOT A DOCTRINE or CREED or DOGMAS or PHILOSOPHY or TRADITION or CULTURE. It’s not an assumption or presumption, it’s the ACTING on trust, on God’s Word or sayings without an iota of doubts and disbelief.

Hence communicate your faith in hope as it’s written: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1.

Also, the FAITH that WORKS and that’s effectual – EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT – is the faith communicated in hope through love as it’s written:  “. .

“But without FAITH (acting on what you believe of God’s WORD) it is impossible to please (receive answers from) Him (God), for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” Hebrews 11:6 (Emphasis mine).

Further Scriptural Read – Hebrews 11:1-3; Habakkuk 2:4; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Romans 14:23; Proverbs 4:20-23; 1 Corinthians 13.
