FORE-Telling And FORTH-Telling: The Difference As To The OLD And NEW TESTAMENT – PROPHETS And PROPHECY! 

Don’t be deceived and mistaken again by anyone — because YOU ARE your own PROPHET. 

Meaning therefore, that you can EXAMINE, that is, JUDGE the spirit before you AFFIRM any PROPHECY blindly — for the Holy Spirit of God LIVES in you to ASCERTAIN the TRUTH that assures, ensures, and sets one FREE. 

FEAR NOT THEREFORE ANYMORE! 

“Let the PROPHETS speak two or three, and let the other JUDGE (EXAMINE)” 1 Corinthians 14:29 (Emphasis Mine). 

For a while now, the majority of innocent Christians have ended up in more bondage in their curiosity to obtain miracles or blessings from SO CALLED PROPHETS, who unknowingly are more like FORTUNE TELLERS operating by SPELLS. 

I have used the word “SO CALLED PROPHETS” because such are not genuine in respect to the genuine PROPHETS of God, by the obvious unscriptural acts and vices they have exposed people to in their vulnerability. 

For God’s GENUINE PROPHET is CALLED and SENT FORTH as a MESSENGER with His message, which does not take advantage of people’s vulnerability. 

Firstly, the Scriptures accredit the essence of the PROPHET and PROPHETIC Ministry in both the OLD and NEW Testaments — Ephesians 4:11-16. 
Unfortunately, their acts of OPERATIONS, ADMINISTRATIONS, and MANIFESTATIONS are not the same. They are contrary across both TESTAMENTS — 1 Corinthians 12:4-7. And unfortunately, many are exerting and exercising the intents of the OLD TESTAMENT in the NEW TESTAMENT. 

In the OLD TESTAMENT there were three classes of LEADERSHIP: 

The KING — To oversee, protect, and defend in civic governance of the people. 

The PRIEST — To minister to God on behalf of the people. 

The PROPHET — To HEAR and RECEIVE the WORD from Father God for the people. 

And more importantly, none of them, or the people of that TESTAMENT assigned to LEAD, were BORN AGAIN, BAPTISED, AND FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT living within, in order to authenticate the WORD of God as it is today — John 3:3-8, 16-18. 

For the Holy Spirit came UPON these three sects as and when needed to accomplish the purposes in their jurisdiction of obligation under God. He came UPON them ONLY. He did not LIVE in them. 

And the PROPHET, as per this context, in the OLD TESTAMENT was to HEAR the WORD from God by the Holy Spirit that came UPON them ONLY to minister to God’s people. Hence the purposeful function was to FORETELL — FORE-TELLING — in ministerial UTTERANCES. 

And to FORETELL, which is a verb, means to predict as instructed; to tell the future as instructed before it occurs, and to prophesy about God’s intended plan in solving the immediate or future purpose of God to His people. 

And in each case God did not leave His people in limbo, but gave direction for their journey to fulfil His intended RIGHTEOUS plan and purpose. 

And God did all the intended doings in the OLD TESTAMENT as a process of carrying out His PLAN, PURPOSE, and PURSUIT towards human REDEMPTION, which was to be fulfilled in Christ Jesus — Luke 24:44-45; John 1:45; Galatians 3:23-25. 

NOW WE HAVE CHRIST JESUS, THE RESULT AND THE CONSEQUENCE OF THE NEW TESTAMENT. 

The NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET, unlike the OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET, differs in many respects. Firstly, REDEMPTION has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus for humanity. 

And the people of God today are born of God in grace within, baptised and filled with the indwelling Holy Spirit to guide and guard the respective individual and collective body; and are also given the right to access God unhindered individually and collectively, with no need for a bypass through any person or persons. 

And by the indwelling Holy Spirit through God’s WORD, one CAN make JUDGEMENT on any form of PROPHECY or PROPHETIC UTTERANCES of any SORT, to ascertain if it is of God or not. 

It thus means that the NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET is ONLY in a position to SPEAK FORTH, that is, to FORTH TELL — FORTH-TELLING — in ministerial UTTERANCES. 

And to FORTH TELL is a verb, and it is to tell forth; that is, to publish abroad, make known, spread, shout out, and broadcast the GOSPEL — the Good News of that which has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus on our behalf in REDEMPTION — which result is EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION, and COMFORT — 1 Corinthians 14:3-4. Wherein there is no fear, threat, complex, or unnecessary sentiment used to appeal to anyone at all. 

And since we live in the sphere and realm of the Holy Spirit to REVEAL and AUTHENTICATE God’s PLAN, PURPOSE, and PROMISE in Christ Jesus in us by the WORD, we need no such ACTS of the OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET — 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. 

Genuine PROPHETIC PROPHECY of God will point one to JESUS and not to self, ego, and personality — Revelation 19:10. 

And anyone who claims to have a PROPHETIC PROPHECY and does not submit it to be EXAMINED indicates error, ignorance, pride, rudeness, and self-egoism, and such like — Acts 17:10-13; 1 Corinthians 14:29. 

Every PROPHECY must be EXAMINED in the LIGHT of God’s WORD — Isaiah 8:16, 19-20; 2 Peter 1:19-21. 

It is unfortunate that some sects of ministers have assumed to become PROPHET or to have a PROPHETIC message — whom I call ‘SO CALLED PROPHETS’. They go about taking advantage of God’s precious people in their ignorance of not being ardent searchers of the SCRIPTURES as BEREAN Christians — Acts 17:10-13, and are exerting and exercising OLD TESTAMENT prophetic ministerial acts on NEW TESTAMENT Believers in Christ Jesus, which is absurd. 

These dubious acts being practised are unbiblical and unscriptural, and they result in FORTUNE TELLING — FORTUNE-TELLING/TELLER. This is the act of a person who is supposedly able to predict a person’s future by palmistry, using a crystal ball, or similar methods such as sorcery, spells, witchcraft, and the like — Acts 8:1-25; Acts 19:8-20. 

This is FRAUD and FALSEHOOD. And many who do not care to READ, KNOW, and UNDERSTAND God’s WORD by the Holy Spirit have become victims, and are lured into such bondages with all forms of fear and phobias in order to consent to these sentiments. 

Dear Believers in Christ, you have the right in Christ Jesus to make JUDGEMENT — to EXAMINE — without being judgemental, on any prophecy no matter who SPEAKS or is SPEAKING — Acts 17:10-13, before you commit your life to it. Otherwise, the consequential error is yours and not God’s, for God is not the AUTHOR of CONFUSION — 1 Corinthians 14:26-33; Matthew 22:29.  

THERE’S NO ROOM FOR THE SPIRIT OF FEAR, THREAT, INTIMIDATION AND TORMENT ON GOD’S PEOPLE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT PROPHETIC MINISTRY. 

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, BUT RATHER THAT YE MAY PROPHESY. 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 3 But he that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT . . . 26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. 27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. 29 LET THE PROPHETS SPEAK TWO OR THREE, AND LET THE OTHER JUDGE (EXAMINE). 30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. 31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the AUTHOR OF CONFUSION, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints . . .” 1 Corinthians 14:1-40 (Emphasis Mine). 

“Wherefore I put thee in REMEMBRANCE that thou STIR UP THE GIFT OF GOD, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. 7 For God hath not given us THE SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” 2 Timothy 1:6-7 

“Herein is our LOVE MADE PERFECT (COMPLETE, MATURE, WHOLE), that we may have boldness in the DAY OF JUDGMENT (PREDICAMENT, CHALLENGES, QUESTIONING): because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no FEAR IN LOVE; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:17-18 (Emphasis Mine). 

“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY, WHETHER THOSE THINGS WERE SO. 12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few. 13 But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people” Acts 17:10-13. 

“To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they SPEAK NOT ACCORDING TO THIS WORD, it is because there is NO LIGHT IN THEM” Isaiah 8:20. 

“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY” Revelation 19:10. 

“We have also A MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye TAKE HEED, AS UNTO A LIGHT THAT SHINETH IN A DARK PLACE, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 knowing this first, that NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION. 21 For the PROPHECY came not in OLD TIME by the will of man: but HOLY MEN OF GOD SPAKE as they were MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST” 2 Peter 1:19-21.

SUMMARY: 
The message is a scriptural warning and teaching on FORE-TELLING vs FORTH-TELLING: the difference between OLD TESTAMENT and NEW TESTAMENT Prophets and Prophecy. 
Because Christ has come and the Holy Spirit now LIVES IN us, YOU ARE your own PROPHET. You have the right to EXAMINE and JUDGE every prophecy. Do not be deceived by “SO CALLED PROPHETS” who operate like FORTUNE TELLERS. New Testament prophecy must point to Jesus and produce EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION, and COMFORT — not fear, bondage, or manipulation. 

Key Points: 

  1. YOU ARE YOUR OWN PROPHET 
    1 Corinthians 14:29 — Let the PROPHETS speak two or three, and let the other JUDGE 
    The Holy Spirit LIVES in you to ASCERTAIN TRUTH. 2 Timothy 1:7 — For God hath not given us THE SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 
  2. OLD TESTAMENT = FORE-TELLING 
    The Spirit came UPON them as and when needed. 
    Offices: KING to govern, PRIEST to minister to God, PROPHET to HEAR and RECEIVE the WORD for the people. 
    None were BORN AGAIN or FILLED with the Spirit living within John 3:3-8 — Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 
    Function: To FORETELL — predict as instructed, to tell the future and God’s plan. 
    Purpose: To lead Israel toward REDEMPTION fulfilled in Christ Jesus Luke 24:44-45 — all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
  3. NEW TESTAMENT = FORTH-TELLING 
    REDEMPTION is FULFILLED in Christ. We are BORN OF GOD, BAPTISED and FILLED with the indwelling Holy Spirit John 14:16-17 — And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth. 
    We have direct access to God with no bypass. By the Spirit and the Word, one CAN make JUDGEMENT on any PROPHECY 1 Corinthians 14:29 — let the other JUDGE | Acts 17:11 — they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. 
    The New Testament Prophet SPEAKS FORTH — to publish, make known, and broadcast the Gospel. 
    Result: 1 Corinthians 14:3-4 — he that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT. No fear, threat, or intimidation.
  4. HOW TO SPOT “SO CALLED PROPHETS” / FORTUNE TELLERS
    They exercise OLD TESTAMENT acts on NEW TESTAMENT people. This is unbiblical and leads to bondage.
    FORTUNE TELLING is like sorcery, spells, palmistry, witchcraft Acts 8:9-11 — But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery | Acts 19:19 — many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together. This is FRAUD and FALSEHOOD.
    Revelation 19:10 — FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY. Any true prophecy will point to Jesus, not to self or ego. 
    THE WORD IS THE FINAL TEST 
    Isaiah 8:20 — To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they SPEAK NOT ACCORDING TO THIS WORD, it is because there is NO LIGHT IN THEM 
    2 Peter 1:19-20 — We have also A MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye TAKE HEED… knowing this first, that NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION 
    Be like the BEREANS Acts 17:11 — they searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. 
    1 Corinthians 14:33 — For God is not the AUTHOR OF CONFUSION, but of peace. 

Call to Action 

  1. STIR UP THE GIFT IN YOU: 2 Timothy 1:6 — Stir up the gift of God, which is in thee. Stop depending blindly on men. 
  2. EXAMINE EVERYTHING: No matter who speaks, JUDGE it by the Word before you commit your life to it 1 Corinthians 14:29 — let the other JUDGE | 1 John 4:1 — believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God. 
  3. BE A BEREAN: READ, KNOW, and UNDERSTAND God’s WORD daily Acts 17:11. 
  4. REJECT FEAR AND MANIPULATION: 1 John 4:18 — There is no FEAR IN LOVE; but perfect love casteth out fear. Walk away from threats, spells, and fortune-telling. 
  5. DESIRE FORTH-TELLING: 1 Corinthians 14:1 — desire spiritual gifts, BUT RATHER THAT YE MAY PROPHESY — to edify, exhort and comfort 1 Corinthians 14:3. 

Final Charge: 
NOW WE HAVE CHRIST. The Spirit is IN you. Test all things. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Be free. Be informed. Be fulfilled. 

YOU ARE BORN OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS TO THRIVE

YOU ARE BORN OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS TO THRIVE: YOU ARE NOT BORN TO SURVIVE AND YOU ARE NOT A SURVIVOR! 

“GIVING THANKS to the Father who has QUALIFIED us to be PARTAKERS of the INHERITANCE of the saints in the light. 13 He has DELIVERED us from the power of darkness and CONVEYED us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have REDEMPTION through His blood, the FORGIVENESS of sins” Colossians 1:12-14/NKJV. 

It’s time to live and speak well of who you ARE in God in Christ Jesus’ stead, and not of what life circumstances and situations want you to be, or define you by, or class you as – when you know it contradicts who and what you are and have become in the New Creation Testament of God’s BLESSEDNESS. 

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has BLESSED us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He CHOSE us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having PREDESTINED us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will” Ephesians 1:3-5. 

Therefore, don’t just EXIST – LIFE IS WORTH THE LIVING – LIVE it then – make it HAPPEN – make each day count and account for your good and goodness, according to God’s Word, by God’s divine power, in God’s BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

“GRACE and PEACE be multiplied to you in the KNOWLEDGE of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His DIVINE POWER has GIVEN to us ALL THINGS that PERTAIN to LIFE and GODLINESS, through the KNOWLEDGE of Him who CALLED us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been GIVEN to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” 2 Peter 1:2-4/NKJV. 

And know for SURE today, that living is about the bonding and abiding within us of these elements of God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus: 

  •  HOPE 
  •  FAITH 
  •  LOVE 

“And now abide FAITH, HOPE, LOVE, these three; but the greatest of these is love” 1 Corinthians 13:13. 

“Remembering without ceasing your WORK of FAITH, and LABOUR of LOVE, and PATIENCE of HOPE in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father” 1 Thessalonians 1:3. 

And in Christ Jesus, it is in our applying these elements in the principles of the context, as we do LIFE and live GODLY in God’s graciousness and gracefulness, that we THRIVE and BECOME in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead – and not to SURVIVE or be a SURVIVAL by any means in the world. 

  •  By BEING PATIENCE in whatever you are so keen to pursue and achieve in HOPE; 
  •  By endeavouring to live through LOVE in all you set to LABOUR to achieve; 
  •  And by ensuring FAITH as a living currency in your process of WORK to achieve that desired intent. 

Our God in redemption has not only delivered us and translated us [Colossians 1:13-14] in Christ Jesus but has promised to DELIVER us daily from the evil that is in this our present world. The evil and wickedness of all sorts that creates the effects which have made some to be under the shadow of the survival of the fittest, as the saying goes. God knows that His WILL in His WORD can cause us to access His promises for our inheritance – that which is available and set ready for all whom He has SANCTIFIED – set apart in redemption in Christ Jesus. Amen. 

“Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who gave himself for our sins, that he might DELIVER us from this PRESENT EVIL WORLD, according to the WILL of God and our Father: 5 to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” Galatians 1:3-5. 

“And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD of his grace, which is able to BUILD you up, and to GIVE you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED” Acts 20:32. 

I urge you in Christ Jesus, to always MEASURE your living WORTH by the ingredients of HOPE, FAITH and LOVE even as in God’s Word. I PRAY that our God of HOPE, FAITH and LOVE may abound with you more and more in every way in His BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

Have a BLESSED day as you THRIVE in grace by the Word, and NEVER on the badge of survival or of surviving while in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“And now abide FAITH, HOPE, LOVE, these three; but the greatest of these is love” 1 Corinthians 13:13. 

“Remembering without ceasing your WORK of FAITH, and LABOUR of LOVE, and PATIENCE of HOPE in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father” 1 Thessalonians 1:3. 

“Now FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things HOPED for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders OBTAINED A GOOD REPORT. 3 Through FAITH we UNDERSTAND that the worlds were FRAMED by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” Hebrews 11:1-3. 

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision AVAILETH any thing, nor uncircumcision; but FAITH WHICH WORKETH BY LOVE” Galatians 5:6. 

“Now the God of hope FILL you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may ABOUND IN HOPE, through the POWER of the Holy Ghost” Romans 15:13. 

SUMMARY: 

This message talks about declaring your identity in Christ. The whole charge is: Stop living from circumstances. Start living from who God says you ARE in the New Creation. 

  1. YOUR IDENTITY & INHERITANCE IN CHRIST
  • YOU ARE BORN OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS TO THRIVE — not to survive, and you are not a survivor. 
  • God has QUALIFIED us to be PARTAKERS of the inheritance of the saints in light [Colossians 1:12-14]. 
  • He DELIVERED us from darkness and CONVEYED us into Christ’s Kingdom. In Him we have REDEMPTION and FORGIVENESS. 
  • God BLESSED us with every spiritual blessing [Ephesians 1:3-5]. He CHOSE and PREDESTINED us for adoption as sons before the foundation of the world. 
  • We have been SANCTIFIED — set apart in redemption in Christ Jesus. Our inheritance is already available and set ready. 
  1. GOD’S PROVISION: DIVINE POWER FOR LIFE & GODLINESS
  • His DIVINE POWER has GIVEN us ALL THINGS that pertain to LIFE and GODLINESS [2 Peter 1:2-4]. 
  • We are partakers of the DIVINE NATURE through His exceedingly great and precious promises. 
  • He daily DELIVERS us from this present evil world [Galatians 1:3-5] and from the mindset of “survival of the fittest.” 
  • The WORD of His grace is able to BUILD you up and GIVE you an INHERITANCE among all who are sanctified [Acts 20:32]. 
  1. THEWAY WE THRIVE: HOPE, FAITH, LOVE IN ACTION 

Living is about the bonding and abiding of 3 elements within us: HOPE, FAITH, LOVE [1 Corinthians 13:13]. 
You apply them as a 3-fold lifestyle: 

  1. By BEING PATIENT in HOPE — “patience of hope” [1 Thessalonians 1:3] 
  2. By LABOURING in LOVE — “labour of love” [1 Thessalonians 1:3] 
  3. By WORKING in FAITH — “work of faith” [1 Thessalonians 1:3]. Faith is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for [Hebrews 11:1-3] and it WORKETH BY LOVE [Galatians 5:6]. 

When we apply these principles as we do LIFE and live GODLY in God’s graciousness, we THRIVE and BECOME in God’s BLESSEDNESS. We refuse to wear the badge of survival. 

  1. THE CHARGE & BLESSING 
  • MEASURE your living WORTH by HOPE, FAITH and LOVE, even as in God’s Word. 
  • Don’t just EXIST — LIFE IS WORTH THE LIVING. LIVE it. Make it HAPPEN. Make each day count for your good and goodness. 
  • Prayer: That the God of HOPE, FAITH and LOVE may abound with you more and more in every way in His BLESSEDNESS [Romans 15:13]. 
  • Benediction: GRACE and PEACE be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God [2 Peter 1:2-4]. 
  1. FINAL CALL: SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK

The message ended with a call to ponder the scriptures and to choose thriving over surviving. 

In one sentence: 
God has delivered, qualified, blessed, and empowered you in Christ Jesus with everything for life. Therefore, reject a survival mindset, and daily live, speak, and thrive by HOPE, FAITH and LOVE as a sanctified partaker of His inheritance.

FORE-Telling And FORTH-Telling: The Difference As To The OLD And NEW TESTAMENT – PROPHETS And PROPHECY! 

Do not be deceived and mistaken anymore by anyone – because you ARE your own PROPHET. Meaning therefore, that you can EXAMINE, that is, JUDGE the spirit before you AFFIRM PROPHECY blindly – for the Holy Spirit of God LIVES in you to ASCERTAIN the TRUTH that assures, ensures and sets one FREE. FEAR NOT THEREFORE ANYMORE! 

“Let the PROPHETS speak two or three, and let the other JUDGE (EXAMINE)” 1 Corinthians 14:29 (Emphasis Mine). 

For a while now, the majority of innocent Christians have ended up in more bondage in their curiosity to obtain miracles or blessings from SO-CALLED PROPHETS, who unknowingly are more like FORTUNE TELLER on SPELLS. 

I have used the word “SO-CALLED PROPHETS” because such are not genuine in respect to the genuine PROPHETS of God, by the obvious unscriptural acts and vices they have exposed people to in their vulnerability. For God’s GENUINE PROPHET are CALLED and SENT FORTH as MESSENGERS with His message, which does not take advantage of people’s vulnerability. 

Firstly, the Scriptures accredit the essence of PROPHET and PROPHETIC Ministry in both the OLD and NEW Testament (Ephesians 4:11-16). Unfortunately, their acts of OPERATION, ADMINISTRATION and MANIFESTATION are not the same, meaning they are contrary in each TESTAMENT (1 Corinthians 12:4-7); and unfortunately, many are exerting and exercising the patterns of the OLD TESTAMENT in the NEW TESTAMENT. 

In the OLD TESTAMENT there were three classes of LEADERSHIP :  
    The KING (To oversee, protect and defend in the civic governance of the people),  

     The PRIEST (To minister To God on behalf of the People)   

     The PROPHET (To HEAR and RECEIVE The WORD from Father God for the people).  

And more importantly, none of them, nor the people of that TESTAMENT assigned to LEAD, were BORN AGAIN, BAPTISED AND FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT living within, in order to authenticate The WORD of God as it is today – (John 3:3-8, 16-18). For The Holy Spirit came upon these three sects as and when needed to accomplish the purposes in their jurisdiction of obligations under God. It came UPON them ONLY. It Never LIVED in them.  

And the PROPHET, as per this context, in the OLD TESTAMENT was to HEAR The WORD from God by The Holy Spirit that came UPON them ONLY to minster to God’s people. Hence the purposeful function was to FORE TELL – that is, FORE-TELLING – in Ministerial UTTERANCES. 

And to FORETELL, which is a verb, means to predict as instructed; to tell the future as instructed before it occurs and to prophesy about God’s intended plan in solving the immediate or future purpose of God to His people. And in each case God did not leave His people in limbo but gave direction for their journey to fulfill His intended RIGHTEOUS plan and purpose. And God did all these in the OLD TESTAMENT as a process of carrying out His PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT towards human REDEMPTION, which was to be fulfilled in Christ Jesus – (Luke 24:44-45; John 1:45; Galatians 3:23-25). 

NOW WE HAVE CHRIST JESUS –THE RESULT AND THE CONSEQUENCE OF THE NEW TESTAMENT. 

The NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET, unlike the OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET, differs in many respects. Firstly, REDEMPTION has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus for humanity. And the people of God today are born of God, in grace within, baptised and filled with the indwelling Holy Spirit to guide and guard the respective individual and collective body. We are also given the right to access God unhindered, individually and collectively, with no need to bypass any person. And by the indwelling Holy Spirit through God’s WORD, one CAN make JUDGEMENT on any form of PROPHECY or PROPHETIC UTTERANCE of any SORT – to discern if it be of God or not. 

It thus means that the NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET is ONLY in a position to SPEAK FORTH, that is, to FORTH TELL – FORTH TELLING – in Ministerial UTTERANCES. And to FORTH-TELL is a verb and it means to tell forth; that is, to publish abroad, make known, spread, shout out and broadcast the GOSPEL – the Good News – of that which has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus on our behalf in REDEMPTION, the result of which is EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION and COMFORT – (1 Corinthians 14:3-4). Wherein there is no fear, threat, complex or unnecessary sentiments to appeal to any at all. 

And since we live in the sphere and realm of the Holy Spirit to REVEAL and AUTHENTICATE God’s PLAN, PURPOSE and WILL in Christ Jesus in us by The WORD, we need none of such ACTS of the OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET (1 Corinthians 2:9-10). Genuine PROPHETIC PROPHECY of God will point one to JESUS and not self, ego and personality (Revelation 19:10). And anyone who claims to have a PROPHETIC PROPHECY and does not seem to be open to EXAMININATION indicates error, ignorance, pride, rudeness, self-egoism and such like. (Acts 17:10-13; 1 Corinthians 14:29). Every PROPHESY must be EXAMINED in the LIGHT of God’s WORD (Isaiah 8:16, 19-20; 2 Peter 1:19-21). 

It is unfortunate that some sects of Ministers have assumed to become PROPHETS or to have a PROPHETIC message which I call ‘SO-CALLED PROPHETS’. They go about taking advantage of God’s precious people in their ignorance of not being diligent searchers of the SCRIPTURES as BEREA N Christians (Acts 17:10-13) and are exerting and exercising the OLD TESTAMENT Prophetic Ministerial acts on the NEW TESTAMENT Believers in Christ Jesus, which is absurd. 

These dubious acts being practiced are unbiblical and unscriptural and they result in FORTUNE-TELLING – FORTUNE-TELLING/TELLER. This is the act of a person who is supposedly able to predict a person’s future by palmistry, using a crystal ball, or similar methods such as sorcery, spells, witchcraft and such likes (Acts 8:1-25; Acts 19:8-20). This is FRAUD and FALSEHOOD and many unfortunately, who do not care to READ, KNOW and UNDERSTAND God’s WORD by the Holy spirit, have become victims. They are lured into such bondages with all forms of fear and phobias in order to get them to consent to these sentiments. 

Dear Believers in Christ, you have the right in Christ Jesus to make JUDGEMENT – that is, to EXAMINE – without being judgemental, on any prophecy no matter who SPEAKS or is SPEAKING (Acts 17:10-13), before you affirm your life to it, otherwise, the consequential error is yours and not God’s, for God is not the AUTHOR of CONFUSION – (1 Corinthians 14:26-33; Matthew 22:29). 

THERE IS NO ROOM FOR THE SPIRIT OF FEAR, THREAT, INTIMIDATION AND TORMENT ON GOD’S PEOPLE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT PROPHETIC MINISTRY.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, BUT RATHER THAT YE MAY PROPHESY. 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 3 But he that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT . . . 26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. 27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. 29 LET THE PROPHETS SPEAK TWO OR THREE, AND LET THE OTHER JUDGE (EXAMINE). 30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. 31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the AUTHOR OF CONFUSION, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints . . .” 1 Corinthians 14:1-40 (Emphasis Mine). 

“Wherefore I put thee in REMEMBRANCE that thou STIR UP THE GIFT OF GOD, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. 7 For God hath not given us THE SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” 2 Timothy 1:6-7 

“Herein is our LOVE MADE PERFECT (COMPLETE, MATURE, WHOLE), that we may have boldness in the DAY OF JUDGMENT (PREDICAMENT, CHALLENGES, QUESTIONING): because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no FEAR IN LOVE; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:17-18 (Emphasis Mine).. 

“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY, WHETHER THOSE THINGS WERE SO. 12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few. 13 But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people” Acts 17:10-13. 

“To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they SPEAK NOT ACCORDING TO THIS WORD, it is because there is NO LIGHT IN THEM” Isaiah 8:20. 

“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY” Revelation 19:10. 

“We have also A MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye TAKE HEED, AS UNTO A LIGHT THAT SHINETH IN A DARK PLACE, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 knowing this first, that NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION. 21 For the PROPHECY came not in OLD TIME by the will of man: but HOLY MEN OF GOD SPAKE as they were MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST” 2 Peter 1:19-21.

SUMMARY: 

This is a doctrinal charge and warning to the Church on how to discern true prophecy and why the New Testament believer is not meant to be deceived by counterfeit prophetic acts. 

  1. THE CORE WARNING: YOU ARE YOUR OWN PROPHET

The opening charge is that you are not to be deceived. Because the Holy Spirit LIVES IN YOU, you have the responsibility and right to EXAMINE, THAT IS, JUDGE THE SPIRIT before you blindly affirm any prophecy. 
Scripture: “Let the PROPHETS speak two or three, and let the other JUDGE” — [1 Corinthians 14:29]. 
Fear has no place. The Spirit in you assures, ensures and sets free. 

  1. THE PROBLEM: SO-CALLED PROPHETS AND FORTUNE-TELLING

Many innocent Christians have ended up in bondage chasing miracles from SO-CALLED PROPHETS. These are not genuine prophets of God. Their unscriptural acts and vices expose people in their vulnerability. 
Their operation is closer to FORTUNE-TELLING — palmistry, crystal balls, sorcery, spells, witchcraft [Acts 8:1-25; Acts 19:8-20]. This is FRAUD AND FALSEHOOD. 
People are lured with fear, phobias, threats and intimidation because they do not READ, KNOW AND UNDERSTAND GOD’S WORD. 
God’s genuine prophet is called and sent as a messenger with God’s message and does not take advantage of people’s vulnerability. 

  1. OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET: FORE-TELLING

Scriptural Basis: The essence of prophet and prophetic ministry is accredited in both Testaments [Ephesians 4:11-16], but their OPERATION, ADMINISTRATION AND MANIFESTATION are not the same [1 Corinthians 12:4-7]. 

OLD TESTAMENT STRUCTURE: 
There were three leadership offices: 

THE KING — to oversee, protect and defend in civic governance. 

THE PRIEST — to minister to God on behalf of the people. 

THE PROPHET — to HEAR and RECEIVE THE WORD from God for the people. 

KEY DIFFERENCE: None in the Old Testament were BORN AGAIN, BAPTISED AND FILLED WITH THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT [John 3:3-8, 16-18]. 
The Holy Spirit CAME UPON them only when needed to accomplish God’s purpose in their jurisdiction. It never LIVED in them. 

FUNCTION: The Old Testament prophet was to FORE-TELL — to predict as instructed, to tell the future before it occurs, and to declare God’s plan for immediate or future purposes. God did not leave His people in limbo; He gave direction for their journey. 
All of this was part of God’s PLAN, PURPOSE AND PURSUIT TOWARDS HUMAN REDEMPTION, which was fulfilled in CHRIST JESUS [Luke 24:44-45; John 1:45; Galatians 3:23-25]. 

  1. NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET:FORTH TELLING

NOW WE HAVE CHRIST JESUS — THE RESULT OF THE NEW TESTAMENT. Redemption is fulfilled. 

KEY DIFFERENCES: 

Indwelling Spirit: Believers today are born of God, baptised and filled with the indwelling Holy Spirit to guide and guard us individually and corporately.
Direct Access: We have the right to access God unhindered, with no need to bypass any person.
Discernment: By the indwelling Spirit and the Word, every believer CAN MAKE JUDGEMENT on any prophecy to discern if it is of God. 

FUNCTION: The New Testament prophet is ONLY IN A POSITION TO SPEAK FORTH — FORTH-TELL. 
To FORTH-TELL means to publish abroad, make known, spread, and broadcast the GOSPEL — the Good News of what Christ has fulfilled in Redemption. 
The result of genuine New Testament prophecy is EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION AND COMFORT [1 Corinthians 14:3-4]. 
There is no fear, threat, complex or manipulation. 

Because we live in the realm of the Holy Spirit to REVEAL AND AUTHENTICATE GOD’S PLAN, PURPOSE AND WILL IN CHRIST [1 Corinthians 2:9-10], we do not need Old Testament prophetic acts. 
Genuine prophetic prophecy will always point to JESUS, not to self, ego or personality [Revelation 19:10]. 

  1. THE TEST: EXAMINE EVERY PROPHECY

Any prophecy that is not open to EXAMINATION shows signs of error, ignorance, pride and self-egoism [Acts 17:10-13; 1 Corinthians 14:29]. 
Every prophecy MUST BE EXAMINED IN THE LIGHT OF GOD’S WORD [Isaiah 8:16, 19-20; 2 Peter 1:19-21]. 
Be like the BEREAN CHRISTIANS who searched the Scriptures daily to verify if things were so [Acts 17:10-13]. 

  1. THE FINAL CHARGE

It is absurd that some ministers are practicing Old Testament prophetic patterns on New Testament believers. These dubious acts lead people into bondage and fear. 
Dear Believer: You have the right in Christ to JUDGE WITHOUT BEING JUDGEMENTAL. If you affirm error, the consequence is yours — God is not the AUTHOR OF CONFUSION [1 Corinthians 14:26-33; Matthew 22:29]. 
THERE IS NO ROOM FOR THE SPIRIT OF FEAR, THREAT, INTIMIDATION AND TORMENT IN NEW TESTAMENT PROPHETIC MINISTRY. 
“For God hath not given us THE SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” — [2 Timothy 1:6-7]. 
“There is no FEAR IN LOVE; but perfect love casteth out fear” — [1 John 4:17-18]. 

THE BOTTOM LINE IN ONE LINE: 

Old Testament prophecy was FORE-TELLING by the Spirit UPON men. New Testament prophecy is FORTH TELLING the finished work of Christ by the Spirit IN men. Test everything by the Word, point everything to Jesus, and reject fear.

STOP CRYING AS ONE WITHOUT HOPE, FAITH AND LOVE IN GOD: FOR IN YOUR DARK AND DARKNESS – THERE IS GOD’S GLORY AND BEAUTY! 

“Therefore we do not become DISCOURAGED [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid]. Though our OUTER self is [progressively] wasting away, yet our INNER self is being [progressively] RENEWED day by day. 17 For our MOMENTARY, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]! 18 So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Amplified. 

I know what tears and pain and disappointment FEEL and LOOK like. I know what setbacks with hopelessness, faithlessness, lovelessness LOOK like. I know how it feels when it seems there should be no tomorrow. I know how it feels to wish the morning was night and the night was day; and when the day and night SEEM so long that you wish you could BURY YOUR HEAD IN THE SAND LIKE AN OSTRICH INSTEAD OF SOARING LIKE AN EAGLE; And when the darkness seems so dark that nothing in life matters anymore and all you think about is to stop living because you are overwhelmed with the matters of life. I know how it looks when all one can see is DANGER and such like, and nothing meaningful, purposeful and fulfilling anymore. I have seen it in many forms to know it is ONLY by God and THROUGH God in Christ Jesus’ stead that we can come through under the Sun in humanity. 

“In the beginning God CREATED the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without FORM, and VOID; and DARKNESS was UPON the FACE of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, LET THERE BE LIGHT: AND THERE WAS LIGHT. 4 And God SAW the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called THE LIGHT Day, and THE DARKNESS He called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day” Genesis 1:1-5. 

And I have come a long way and grown to know that God does not shine light UPON darkness but causes light to shine OUT OF darkness for His glory and our BLESSEDNESS. As He spoke to the void and formless earth that light should come forth out of the darkness that was overpowering the earth, and there was – and there is – light. The light became the order for the day [morning and evening] and the dark and darkness became the order for the night. That’s what OUR CREATING GOD can do in the midst of anything that’s overwhelming us in life and grace. 

“For God, who commanded THE LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS, hath SHINED in our hearts, TO GIVE THE LIGHT of the knowledge of the GLORY of God in the FACE of Jesus Christ” 2 Corinthians 4:6. 

And I want you to know what else I know – God DOES bring forth LIGHT OUT OF EVERY DARK and DARKNESS that shows up in our day-to-day challenges. The dark and darkness that show up momentarily, or as long-standing obstacles in metaphorical form as MOUNTAIN, VALLEY, CROOKED ROAD and ROUGH PLACES, in our path of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus’ stead. I am very certain and assured that God will not OVERSHADOW that darkness with light just to keep you in CIRCUS but will BRING FORTH LIGHT OUT OF that seemingly impossible DARK PLACE and the DARKNESS with the needed and needful graciousness and gracefulness in His BLESSEDNESS. For God’s intent is to see you GLOW, REJUVENATE, REFRESH and BLOSSOM out of “THAT” dark and darkness you are dealing with right now. I know it without a shadow of a doubt, because every river of challenge that I have seen, walked through and gone through has made me BETTER than BITTER – because I know the essence of LIGHT OUT OF DARKNESS in doing LIFE and LIVING GODLY. 

“But the PATH of the JUST (RIGHTEOUS) is like the LIGHT of dawn, that SHINES BRIGHTER and BRIGHTER until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the PERFECT (DAWN) day” Proverbs 4:18 Amplified. 

Therefore be at peace with yourself today, for the DAYSTAR in you, which is Christ Jesus the Saviour and Lord for today, tomorrow and always, will shine again in you and through you, and many in darkness will come to your light in Him to share in your joy and testimony of grace. For darkness CAN’T OVERSHADOW light. Light will always be superior to any darkness. The darker the case, the more the glow in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

Stop CRYING as one without hope in God; for in that your DARKNESS – therein is God’s GLORY and BEAUTY of you in Christ Jesus. I pray that you will take on a new look and a leap of faith in life, that your onward and upward trajectory in Christ Jesus CAN’T BE STOPPED by any level of darkness, no matter the momentary lapses and delays in the now.  

HAVE FAITH IN GOD – and be BLESSED in God’s GRACE and BLESSEDNESS.

“The VOICE of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 EVERY VALLEY shall be EXALTED, and EVERY MOUNTAIN and HILL shall be MADE LOW: and the CROOKED shall be MADE STRAIGHT, and the ROUGH PLACES PLAIN: 5 and the GLORY of the Lord shall be REVEALED, and all FLESH shall see it together: for the Mouth of the Lord hath spoken it” Isaiah 40:3-5. 

“And we KNOW that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified” Romans 8:28-30.

Darkness shows up as MOUNTAIN, VALLEY, CROOKED ROAD, ROUGH PLACES — long-standing obstacles in life. 
But these MOMENTARY, LIGHT troubles are producing for us an eternal WEIGHT OF GLORY beyond measure. 2 Corinthians 4:17 

WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST

Because of Christ, you are NOT without hope. 
The DAYSTAR — Christ Jesus — lives in you. He WILL SHINE AGAIN in you and through you until others in darkness come to your light. 
The PATH OF THE JUST IS LIKE THE LIGHT OF DAWN, THAT SHINES BRIGHTER AND BRIGHTER until the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18 
Every valley shall be exalted, every mountain made low, the crooked made straight, and the rough places plain — and the GLORY of the Lord shall be revealed. Isaiah 40:3-5 

THE RESULT OF GOING THROUGH

Challenges are meant to make you BETTER than BITTER. 
God’s intent: to see you GLOW, REJUVENATE, REFRESH and BLOSSOM out of that dark place.

CALL TO ACTION 

  1. STOP CRYING AS ONE WITHOUT HOPE, FAITH AND LOVE IN GOD.

  2. DON’T LOOK AT WHAT IS SEEN. 
    Look at what is unseen. What is visible is temporal. What is invisible is everlasting. 2 Corinthians 4:18 
  3. BE AT PEACE WITH YOURSELF TODAY. 
    Your onward and upward trajectory in Christ Jesus CAN’T BE STOPPED by any level of darkness, lapses, or delays. 
  4. TAKE ON A NEW LOOK AND A LEAP OF FAITH. 
    Let the Daystar (Christ Jesus) arise in your heart. 2 Peter 1:19 
  5. HAVE FAITH IN GOD — and be BLESSED in God’s GRACE and BLESSEDNESS. 
    Hope thou in God, for you shall yet praise Him. Psalms 42:11

MIRRORING YOUR WELLBEING BY GOD’S LOVE: LOVING THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD IN THE EYES OF CHRIST JESUS! 

“And [that you may come] to KNOW [practically, through personal experience] the LOVE of Christ which far SURPASSES and TRANSCENDS [mere] SENSE knowledge [without experience], that you may be FILLED up [throughout your being] to all the FULLNESS of God [so that you may have the RICHEST experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely FILLED and FLOODED with God Himself]” Ephesians 3:19/AMP. 

Mirroring God’s LOVE in our lives should be every believer’s earnest desire and expectation as we live in grace – in our day-to-day endeavours and in our walk with God in Christ Jesus’ stead. The questions that come to mind are: 

  1.  How have you been applying it in your day to day living thus far?  
  2. How will you start to do it now?  
  3. How do you go about doing it in order to sustain it, with an onward and upward trajectory that does not stop?  

Will it be through the lens of your DENOMINATIONAL and DOCTRINAL Church, sectarian by-laws and creeds?  

Or through the World’s definition?  

Or will you choose to DO life through the EYES and FACE of Christ Jesus, in the LIGHT of the KNOWLEDGE of God as revealed in the Holy Scriptures? 

“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the One who has SHONE in our hearts to give us the LIGHT of the KNOWLEDGE of the glory and majesty of God [clearly revealed] in the FACE of Christ” 2 Corinthians 4:6 Amplified. 

LOVING through KNOWLEDGE, in the EYES and FACE of JESUS, by the Holy Spirit that is GIVEN to us, is the essence of FULFILING scripture and being FULFILED in God, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is SHED abroad in our HEARTS by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us . . . 8 But God COMMENDETH his LOVE toward us, in that, while we were YET sinners, Christ DIED for us” Romans 5:5-8. 

If you mirror your life through the eyes of DENOMINATIONAL and DOCTRINAL Church by-laws and creeds, or through the WORLD’S definition as seen today, I tell you this truthfully: You will be stigmatised, locked in dogmas and creeds, and become self-centred. More so, you will end up full of RELIGION-MADE, SECTARIANISM, SELF-MADE and MAN-MADE practices – with their bondages and captivity.  

They may seem good in human eyes, but they are full of sentiment, prejudice and dissimulation (hypocrisy) in every perception and life dealing.  

Worst of all, it is not healthy and gracious for godly living before the God of LOVE, in the knowledge of Christ Jesus’ stead as SCRIPTURALLY enjoined. Amen. 

“And [that you may come] to KNOW [practically, through personal experience] the LOVE of Christ which far SURPASSES and TRANSCENDS [mere] SENSE knowledge [without experience], that you may be FILLED up [throughout your being] to all the FULLNESS of God [so that you may have the RICHEST experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely FILLED and FLOODED with God Himself]” Ephesians 3:19/AMP. 

For when you mirror God’s love from and through the saving, gracious KNOWLEDGE of Christ Jesus – in His EYES and on His FACE – in order to do life and live godly, I can verily promise you this:  

You will be LIBERATED from all forms of bondage and captivity. You will eventually experience WHOLEHEARTED WHOLENESS in your triune being: spirit, soul and body. And God’s love in Christ Jesus will take hold of you in every way, to do life and live FULFILING scripture – BLESSEDLY, MEANINGFULLY, and PURPOSEFULLY. Amen. 

“Love is to be sincere and active [the real thing—without guile and hypocrisy]. Hate what is evil [detest all ungodliness, do not tolerate wickedness]; hold on tightly to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another with [authentic] brotherly affection [as members of one family], give preference to one another in honor; 11 never lagging behind in diligence; aglow in the Spirit, enthusiastically serving the Lord; 12 constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength], 13 contributing to the needs of God’s people, pursuing [the practice of] hospitality . . .” Romans 12:9-21 Amplified. 

Genuine freedom is seeing God’s love through the EYES of Christ Jesus – if you dare to desire to truly live free in GRACE and in God’s KNOWLEDGE: wholesomely, purposefully, and meaningfully.

THE LOVING OF GOD: WILL CAUSE ALL THINGS TO WORK TOGETHER FOR YOUR GOOD AND PERSONAL REVELATION! 

“And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to them that LOVE God, to them who are the CALLED according to his PURPOSE” Romans 8:28. 

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the HEART of man, the things which God hath PREPARED for them that LOVE him. 10 But God hath REVEALED them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit SEARCHETH all things, yea, the DEEP things of God” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 

Love is the working essence of all things for your good with God. If you want all things – good [good times] or bad [challenging and difficult times] – to work together for your good, then start loving God in spirit [in hearts hearts] and in truth [in His Word]. That’s the earnest way to offer to God worship that’s worthily and services that’s acceptably in the grace. 

“The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit [hearts] and in truth [the word]” John 4:19-24/Emphasis Mine. 

Loving God should be a deliberate and intentional, conscious act from your heart [human spirit] and not from your head; and you need to know full well, with understanding, that God’s love is only poured out and shared abundantly in the human spirit by the Holy Spirit for a genuine expression of God’s love — Romans 5:5, 8. 

And the acknowledgement of this knowing and understanding will cause all things to work together for your good, because you can only offer meaningful worship to God from a heart of love toward Him. 

That is how God can cause you to live with purpose and reveal the real you to you, for meaningful and purposeful living and loving in His grace. 

For the Spirit of God gives man the breath of life and the understanding of life — Zoe, the eternal being of man toward God in humanity. 

“But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding” Job 32:8. 

“The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life” Job 33:4. 

Material instruments like a Stethoscope, Scan devices, X-ray and the like may be useful in human endeavors, yet you cannot detect the human spirit with them, because the human spirit is eternal and not earthly, though it dwells in your body.[bodily] 

Simply put, the spirit of man is the candle or lamp of the Lord, searching and searching out all the inner depths of his heart. Hence, it is only by the spirit that man can truly worship God. 

For the man within the human is a spirit being, he has a soul [the seat of will, intuition, and intellect], and he lives in a body.[eternal][flesh] 

And only by God’s Word can the tripartite being — spirit, soul, and body — be detected, separated, and discerned together at the same time.[triune]  

“The spirit of man is the candle [lamp] of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly [being]” Proverbs 20:27/Emphasis mine.

For Faith pleases God and Faith only functions by Love, and when Faith towards God is essence by Love, you’ve gotten hold of God for the release of His blessings upon you. It’s by the faith that pleases God working through love, is the hallmark way to live beyond walls by God in spirit and truth. And the faith that overcomes and brings about victory and triumph in the grace becomes one’s realities in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. 

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by [through] love” Galatians 5:6/Emphasis mine. 

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” Hebrews 11:6 

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5.

    Only the Word of God can divide and discern spirit, soul, and body Hebrews 4:12-13.

There’s GREAT POWER To FUNCTION In LOVE: And There’s GREAT GRACE To BECOME In What LOVE Entails! 

“And with GREAT POWER gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and GREAT GRACE was upon them all” Acts 4:33. 

God’s LOVE it’s of the HUMAN HEARTS and it’s express effortlessly by the precious and blessed Holy Spirit of promise; outside the Holy Spirit of Love context, it’s PERVERTS, for no man can genuinely LOVE in the fulness beside what it’s Scripturally justified in the grace. 

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the LOVE of God has been POURED out in our HEARTS by the Holy Spirit who was GIVEN to us” Romans 5:5 NKJV 

There’s the need to MANIFEST and DEMONSTRATE God’s kind of Love to this generation and dispensation unreservedly and uncompromisingly; that’s how to make a difference and healthy living and relationships, in a world full of various kinds of LOVE PERVERTS that’s full of sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation, and that’s indescribably filled up with lusts and affections, hatred, evil and wickedness of indescribable measures. That’s the essence of the compelling SCRIPTURE for the born of LOVE in God to make their presence known as people of PURPOSE, CALLED, JUSTIFIED, PREDESTINED, FOREKNOW, and GLORIFIED in Christ Jesus stead: 

“For the EARNEST EXPECTATION of the CREATURE (CREATION) waiteth for the MANIFESTATION of the sons of God . . . 28 And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to them that LOVE God, to them who are the CALLED according to his PURPOSE. 29 For whom he did FOREKNOW, he also did PREDESTINATE to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did PREDESTINATE, them he also CALLED: and whom he CALLED, them he also JUSTIFIED: and whom he JUSTIFIED, them he also GLORIFIED” Romans 8:19, 28/Emphasis Mine. 

Manifesting and demonstrating God’s love is of the Holy Spirit embedded in human hearts, that is – the human spirit (Romans 5:5; Ecclesiastes 3:11 (Amplified). Outside it are an act of perversions. Hence there are many evils and in fighting today in the name of love (James 4:1-5/Galatians 5:24-25). 

Loving God and experiencing His eternal purpose for you is of the human spirit, because God’s love is poured or shared only in our hearts by the Holy Spirit; and from those human hearts (spirit being) we can manifest and demonstrate God’s love in us. It thus indicates, when you can’t receive and comprehends God’s love in your spirit being to manifest and demonstrate it by the Holy Spirit, it turns to PERVERTS. Hence many today have in the name of love which is of the head (senses) and not of the hearts (spirit) done many silly, evil and dangerous acts that’s too marvelling to comprehend (Proverbs 20:27/Galatians 5:24). 

For example, when you keep BEATING UP your spouse and yet say to her or him – I LOVE YOU. That’s pervert and demonic, because it’s only in the head. When it’s of the hearts by the Holy Spirit, you won’t think or imagine doing that at all. 

For God gives the POWER to FUNCTION in LOVE and the GRACE to BECOME what Love entails! 

The Scriptural writ of the Acts of the Apostles indicates that the Holy Spirit is of – POWER to FUNCTION – Acts 1:8/Acts 4:33; and of GRACE to BECOME – Hebrews 10:29/Zechariah 12:10/Acts 4:33.  

It thus means in the context of LOVE with God, one can’t genuinely acclaim to love God and still struggle to be in His presence, pray, read the Bible, fellowship with likeminded believers and more – 1 John 5:1-3. God’s love when it’s of the heart – human spirit – by the Holy Spirit, life is at ease, there’s no room for excuses because God don’t excuse Himself, for He is love and in you. 

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK – about it. I know that very much. Do you?

“And with GREAT POWER gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and GREAT GRACE was upon them all” Acts 4:33. 

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is SHED abroad in our HEARTS (Human spirit) by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us” Romans 5:5 (Emphasis Mine). 

“LOVE is to be SINCERE and ACTIVE [the real thing—without GUILE and HYPOCRISY]. Hate what is evil [detest all ungodliness, do not tolerate wickedness]; hold on tightly to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another with [authentic] brotherly affection [as members of one family], give preference to one another in honor; 11 never lagging behind in diligence; aglow in the Spirit, enthusiastically serving the Lord; 12 constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength], 13 contributing to the needs of God’s people, pursuing [the practice of] hospitality” Romans 12:8-13 Amplified.

LOVE AT ITS BEST: IT DOES INSTRUCTS AND DISCIPLINES! 

“And ye have FORGOTTEN the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, DESPISE not thou the CHASTENING of the Lord, nor FAINT when thou art REBUKED of him: 6 for WHOM THE LORD LOVETH HE CHASTENETH, AND SCOURGETH EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVETH. 7 If ye endure CHASTENING, God DEALETH with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father CHASTENETH not? 8 But if ye be without CHASTISEMENT, whereof all are PARTAKERS, then are ye BASTARDS, and not sons” Hebrews 12:5-8. 

You may not like and love this writ, except you genuinely want God’s WORD to define you for today and tomorrow as you do LIFE and live GODLY by grace, in Christ Jesus’ stead. For some, LOVE is basically about being spoken to softly, taken to the mall for shopping, being showered with gifts now and then, taken for holidays, spoilt with every good thing or goodies while their shortfalls and real-life failings are never mentioned or told them, which would rather help them to amend, braze up, mature and grow in the grace. 

It is unfortunate that many people are in Church without having anyone to strengthen them from their bad behavioural menace and attitudes to the realities of life. When people build their lives on falsehoods and entitlement, and they do not realise the dangers of not wanting the truth, they will always find themselves at the breaking points of life’s deceptions and falsehoods. And some will get to a point wherein they are irreparable, because such LOVE anticipated without discipline for wrongdoing was never MEASURED to them – with the true reality of life: discipline and instruction as the path to do life and live godly by grace in righteousness. 

Herein are three hard TRUTHS among the lot about genuine LOVE one needs to give thoughts to. They are needful in order to help you, and your friend, spouse, colleagues and those you love and cares about: 

  1. LOVE with ‘OPEN REBUKES’ – helps to DELIVER and SAVE – Proverbs 27:5-6. 
    “OPEN REBUKE is better than SECRET love. 6 FAITHFUL are the WOUNDS of a friend; but the KISSES of an ENEMY are deceitful” Proverbs 27:5-6. 
  2. LOVE That ‘CHASTENS’ – helps to MOLD and AMEND – Hebrews 12:5-11.
    “And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the CHASTENING of the Lord, nor faint when thou art REBUKED of him: 6 for WHOM THE LORD LOVETH HE CHASTENETH, AND SCOURGETH EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVETH. 7 If ye endure CHASTENING, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father CHASTENETH not? 8 But if ye be without CHASTISEMENT, whereof all are PARTAKERS, then are ye BASTARDS, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which CORRECTED us, and we gave them REVERENCE: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days CHASTENED us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be PARTAKERS of his holiness. 11 Now no CHASTENING for the present seemeth to be joyous, but GRIEVOUS: nevertheless afterward it YIELDETH the PEACEABLE FRUIT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS unto them which are EXERCISED thereby” Hebrews 12:5-11.
  3. Love that PROTECTS – helps to COVERS, OVERLOOKS, MAKES UP and to EMANCIPATES from further sins and errors – 1 Peter 4:8/Proverbs 10:12. 

“And above all things have fervent love among yourselves: for LOVE shall COVER (OVERLOOK, MAKES UP) the multitude of sins” 1 Peter 4:8 (Emphasis Mine). 

“Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love COVERETH (OVERLOOK) all sins” Proverbs 10:12 (Emphasis Mine). 

God wants us to love while we enjoy His love shed and spread abroad in our inner hearts by the Holy Spirit of love. It is by this love of God that we are saved. And God has commended His Love towards us in Christ Jesus to enable us to live in Christ Jesus’ stead by it. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE OF GOD IS SHED ABROAD IN OUR HEARTS by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us . . . 8 But God COMMENDETH HIS LOVE TOWARD US, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:5, 8. 

“If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not LOVE [for others growing out of God’s love for me], then I have become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction]. 2 And if I have the gift of prophecy [and speak a new message from God to the people], and understand all mysteries, and [possess] all knowledge; and if I have all [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love [reaching out to others], I am nothing. 3 If I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it does me no good at all. 4 LOVE endures with patience and serenity, LOVE is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; LOVE does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. 5 It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. 6 It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. 7 LOVE bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening]. 8 Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete]. 10 But when that which is complete and perfect comes, that which is incomplete and partial will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. 12 For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. SUMMARY:  

Central Thesis: Genuine biblical love is not sentimentality or spoiling. It is God’s love, shed abroad by the Holy Spirit, that saves, instructs, disciplines, and matures. True love delivers through open rebuke, molds through chastening, and protects through covering sin. Without discipline and instruction, love becomes empty sentiment that leaves people broken at life’s breaking points. 

  1. Core Declaration: Love at Its Best Instructs + Disciplines

Hebrews 12:5-8 is the anchor: “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.” The message declares that if you have no chastisement, you are not a son but a bastard. Love at its best does not faint at rebuke; it endures chastening because God deals with us as sons. Hebrews 12:11: Chastening is “grievous for the present” but “yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness.” Kingdom principle: A love without discipline is not fatherly love — it leaves people irreparable. 

  1. Warning Against Counterfeit Love

Many confuse love with soft words + gifts + holidays while ignoring shortfalls and real-life failings. That “love” never helps people amend, brace up, mature, and grow in grace. It is unfortunate that many in church have no one to strengthen them from bad behavioural menace and attitudes to the realities of life. When people build on falsehoods and entitlement, and refuse truth, they end at the breaking points of life’s deceptions. Without discipline measured to them, some reach a point of being irreparable. Doctrine: The path to do life and live godly by grace in righteousness is discipline + instruction 2 Timothy 3:16. 

  1. Three Hard Truths About Genuine Love

The message presents 3 “needful” truths to help you, your friend, spouse, colleagues, and those you love and care about: 

Love with ‘Open Rebukes’ — Helps to Deliver and Save 
Proverbs 27:5-6: “Open rebuke is better than secret love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend.” Truth-telling, though painful, delivers and saves. Concealing faults = deceitful kisses of an enemy. 

Love That ‘Chastens’ — Helps to Mold and Amend 
Hebrews 12:5-11: God chastens every son He receives. Earthly fathers corrected us and we gave them reverence; how much more the Father of spirits. Chastening is for our profit “that we might be partakers of his holiness.” It is not joyous now, but grievous — yet it produces righteousness in those exercised by it. 

Love that Protects — Helps to Cover, Overlook, Make Up, and Emancipate 
1 Peter 4:8 + Proverbs 10:12: “Love shall cover the multitude of sins.” “Cover” means to overlook, make up, and emancipate from further sins and errors. This is not excusing sin but refusing to stir up strife with hatred. Love bears, hopes, and protects without enabling destruction.

     4. Foundation: God’s Love First

Romans 5:5, 8: God wants us to love while we enjoy His love “shed abroad in our inner hearts by the Holy Spirit of love.” It is by this love of God that we are saved. God commended His love toward us in Christ Jesus to enable us to live in Christ Jesus’ stead by it. 1 Corinthians 13 Amplified is quoted in full to define love: patient, kind, not jealous/proud/rude/self-seeking, bears all things, believes/hopes/endures all things, never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:13: “the greatest of these is love.” 
Kingdom principle: We cannot give what we have not received. Discipline, rebuke, and protection must flow from enjoying God’s love first. 

  1. Tone + Call to Action

Tone: Weighty, prophetic, corrective, and pastoral. It is teaching + exhortation. The message warns against “church without fathers,” confronts entitlement/falsehood, then anchors everything in Scripture. 

Call: Let God’s Word define you for today and tomorrow. Accept open rebuke and chastening as proof of sonship, not rejection. Measure love by maturity produced, not comfort given. Give the 3 hard truths to those you love so they amend, brace up, and grow. Let love protect by covering sin, but never without instruction that leads to righteousness. 

In one sentence: The message declares that God’s love — shed abroad by the Spirit — is proven through instruction and discipline; “therefore, genuine love must rebuke openly to deliver, chasten to mold and amend, and protect by covering [OVERLOOKING] sin, because love without discipline produces believers who shatter at life’s breaking points, but love rooted in God’s love matures us to live godly by grace in righteousness.”

MONTH JUNE – OBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE: TO PREACH AND LIVE THE GOSPEL! 

“And Jesus went about all the CITIES and VILLAGES, TEACHING in their synagogues, and PREACHING THE GOSPEL of the kingdom, and HEALING every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with COMPASSION on them, because they FAINTED, and were SCATTERED abroad, as SHEEP HAVING NO SHEPHERD” Matthew 9:35-36 

When you PREACH and LIVE Christ, PREACH and LIVE THE WORD – there would be JOY in the City and in the DESERT of your being. For the GOSPEL is Christ Jesus: which is, that, He came, He was crucified, He died, He was buried, He rose again, for our SIN and SINS. 1 Corinthians 15:1-11. This thus mean, whether you ARE in the CITY CHURCH or in the DESERT (VILLAGE) LOCAL CHURCH, you shouldn’t be mistaken on the GOSPEL MESSAGE – for it is the POWER and ANSWER to all HUMAN INNERMOST QUEST – for yesterday, today and tomorrow. Romans 1:16-17; Hebrews 13:8; 1 Corinthians 3:10-13; 1 Corinthians 15:1-19. 

“. . . Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where PREACHING THE WORD. 5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and PREACHED CHRIST unto them . . . 8 And there was GREAT JOY IN THAT CITY . . . 26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, WHICH IS DESERT. 27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship . . . 37 And Philip said, If thou BELIEVEST with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD. 38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he BAPTIZED him . . .” Act 8:1-40 

We live today in the times of pandemic, trials, brutality, bitterness, greed, persecutions, evils, denials, wickedness, hatred and poverty in our worlds. Yet in the midst of all these happenings are God’s abundant provisions of DELIVERANCE, PROSPERITY, HEALTH, HOPE, FAITH, LOVE – and such like the more – for all the hopeless, faithless and loveless challenges and circumstances in our world. Colossians 1:13-14; Galatians 1:3-5; Hebrews 2:14-15; Luke 2:68-75. 

The likelihood of the challenging times today is for most people to BLAME or CURSE or ACCUSE or TRANSFER aggressions to others. While some will take advantage of others by appealing to their emotions, sentiments and fears in order to have holds over them in their vulnerability. 

And what people need today in the midst of the current situations, circumstances and challenges before them is the UNSPEAKABLE and INDESCRIBABLE JOY of the Lord in their hearts, families, and communities; much more, they need HOPE, FAITH and LOVE that can WELL them out of THAT life darkness in exchange with the fountains of peace, personal worth, blessedness, graciousness, gracefulness and dignity. And it will take a person OBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE, which is YOU, to make it possible; that’s why you ARE of a great need and demand for today’s challenges and changing times. And your OBEDIENCE is PARAMOUNT to it all. 2 Corinthians 4:6; Proverbs 4:18; Job 36:11; Isaiah 1:19. 

And a person OBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE indeed, will do only one thing: PREACH and LIVE CHRIST, PREACH and LIVE THE WORD in the midst of the irrelevancy of personal and or people’s challenges and circumstances; this is the order to trigger the needed JOY and PEACE that the individual, family, community, and nations might need, in times of today’s challenges and changing times. 

In the Apostolic days, all that was needed to bring OVERWHELMING JOY to the City of SAMARIA in the midst of persecution, evils, wickedness, falsehood, sorcery and divining, was to preach Christ, who is – The Living WORD. And the needed JOY came and took hold of the people while evil, hatred, falsehood and satanic cohorts and such likes, were silently KEPT AT BAY as God’s Kingdom and intent of overwhelming Joy advanced to flood in the hearts of the Samaritan City. Acts 8; Philippians 1:15-18. 

I make bold to say that if you must keep your enemy at bay and keep the kingdom of God and intent advancing in your life and those around you, PREACH/LIVE CHRIST and PREACH/LIVE THE WORD; Preach Not Sentiments, Not Denomination, Not Self egotism, and more importantly not Religion and not rudiments and traditions of this world. For that will create more conflicts than solving human needs and QUESTS. 

I’ve been emboldened to make known to you that there will be a miracle of change in your life and godly living, because – THERE’S A MIRACULOUS POWER IN THE WORD, when CHRIST is PREACHED. The SALVATION that you, your family and community you care about needs, is in The WORD, which is the GOSPEL OF CHRIST. Preach it! Live it!! And Joy Overwhelmingly will come!!! AMEN.

MONTH JUNE – OBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE: TO PREACH AND LIVE THE GOSPEL! 

“And Jesus went about all the CITIES and VILLAGES, TEACHING in their synagogues, and PREACHING THE GOSPEL of the kingdom, and HEALING every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with COMPASSION on them, because they FAINTED, and were SCATTERED abroad, as SHEEP HAVING NO SHEPHERD” Matthew 9:35-36 

When you PREACH and LIVE Christ, PREACH and LIVE THE WORD – there would be JOY in the City and in the DESERT of your being. For the GOSPEL is Christ Jesus: which is, that, He came, He was crucified, He died, He was buried, He rose again, for our SIN and SINS. 1 Corinthians 15:1-11. This thus mean, whether you ARE in the CITY CHURCH or in the DESERT (VILLAGE) LOCAL CHURCH, you shouldn’t be mistaken on the GOSPEL MESSAGE – for it is the POWER and ANSWER to all HUMAN INNERMOST QUEST – for yesterday, today and tomorrow. Romans 1:16-17; Hebrews 13:8; 1 Corinthians 3:10-13; 1 Corinthians 15:1-19.

We live today in the times of pandemic, trials, brutality, bitterness, greed, persecutions, evils, denials, wickedness, hatred and poverty in our worlds. Yet in the midst of all these happenings are God’s abundant provisions of DELIVERANCE, PROSPERITY, HEALTH, HOPE, FAITH, LOVE – and such like the more – for all the hopeless, faithless and loveless challenges and circumstances in our world. Colossians 1:13-14; Galatians 1:3-5; Hebrews 2:14-15; Luke 2:68-75. 

The likelihood of the challenging times today is for most people to BLAME or CURSE or ACCUSE or TRANSFER aggressions to others. While some will take advantage of others by appealing to their emotions, sentiments and fears in order to have holds over them in their vulnerability. 

And what people need today in the midst of the current situations, circumstances and challenges before them is the UNSPEAKABLE and INDESCRIBABLE JOY of the Lord in their hearts, families, and communities; much more, they need HOPE, FAITH and LOVE that can WELL them out of THAT life darkness in exchange with the fountains of peace, personal worth, blessedness, graciousness, gracefulness and dignity. And it will take a person OBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE, which is YOU, to make it possible; that’s why you ARE of a great need and demand for today’s challenges and changing times. And your OBEDIENCE is PARAMOUNT to it all. 2 Corinthians 4:6; Proverbs 4:18; Job 36:11; Isaiah 1:19. 

And a person OBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE indeed, will do only one thing: PREACH and LIVE CHRIST, PREACH and LIVE THE WORD in the midst of the irrelevancy of personal and or people’s challenges and circumstances; this is the order to trigger the needed JOY and PEACE that the individual, family, community, and nations might need, in times of today’s challenges and changing times. 

In the Apostolic days, all that was needed to bring OVERWHELMING JOY to the City of SAMARIA in the midst of persecution, evils, wickedness, falsehood, sorcery and divining, was to preach Christ, who is – The Living WORD. And the needed JOY came and took hold of the people while evil, hatred, falsehood and satanic cohorts and such likes, were silently KEPT AT BAY as God’s Kingdom and intent of overwhelming Joy advanced to flood in the hearts of the Samaritan City. Acts 8; Philippians 1:15-18. 

I make bold to say that if you must keep your enemy at bay and keep the kingdom of God and intent advancing in your life and those around you, PREACH/LIVE CHRIST and PREACH/LIVE THE WORD; Preach Not Sentiments, Not Denomination, Not Self egotism, and more importantly not Religion and not rudiments and traditions of this world. For that will create more conflicts than solving human needs and QUESTS. 

I’ve been emboldened to make known to you that there will be a miracle of change in your life and godly living, because – THERE’S A MIRACULOUS POWER IN THE WORD, when CHRIST is PREACHED. The SALVATION that you, your family and community you care about needs, is in The WORD, which is the GOSPEL OF CHRIST. Preach it! Live it!! And Joy Overwhelmingly will come!!! AMEN.
