THE UNPARALLELED ARMY: EXERCISING THE USE OF THE WEAPONRY OF WAR FOR WARFARE!

I just want to REMIND you for your NOW and for your TOMORROW, hoping that you might have known or that you probably being INFOMED for the first time, that every born-again believing child of God in Christ Jesus IS A BATTLEFIELD; and in a battlefield KNOWINGLY and UNKNOWINGLY. And there is the need to DAILY SHARPEN your INSTRUMENT [WEAPONRY] and KEEP it READY to ENGAGE in any BATTLES in the NOW or tomorrow [Ecclesiastes 10:10/Amplified]. It is because the ENEMY and his cohorts with whom we are ENGAGED are ROARING and ROAMING AROUND, SEEKING whom to DEVOUR – [1 Peter 5:8-11]. Therefore, there is the NEED to GET yourself and your spiritual weaponry ready 24/7 as you do life and live godly in the grace in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. And spiritual weaponry exercise is NOT to be TAKEN for GRANTED. It is WORTH the exercise because of the EFFECTS in the LIFE NOW and the LIFE TO COME.

“But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto GODLINESS. 8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but GODLINESS is PROFITABLE unto all things, having PROMISE of the life that NOW IS, and of that which IS TO COME” 1 Timothy 4:7-8.

“But have nothing to do with irreverent folklore and silly myths. On the other hand, DISCIPLINE yourself for the PURPOSE of GODLINESS [keeping yourself SPIRITUALLY FIT]. 8 For physical training is of some value, but GODLINESS (SPIRITUAL TRAINING) is of value in everything and in every way, since it holds promise for the PRESENT LIFE and for the LIFE TO COME” 1 Timothy 4:7-8/Amplified.

It is TIME, as an unparalleled army of God in Christ Jesus, to EXERCISE the KNOW-HOW to be THE COMBATANT and MILITANT-LIKE SOLDIER with the ARMOUR for warfare –

and THE ANTIDOTE to deal with the ENEMY and the COHORTS’ WILES and ASSAULTS.

“. . . 11 PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD, that ye may be able to STAND AGAINST THE WILES of the devil. 12 For we WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, but AGAINST principalities, AGAINST powers, AGAINST the rulers of the darkness of this world, AGAINST spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the WHOLE ARMOUR of God, that ye may be able to WITHSTAND in the EVIL day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your LOINS GIRT ABOUT WITH TRUTH, and having on the BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS; 15 and your FEET SHOD with the preparation of THE GOSPEL OF PEACE; 16 above all, taking THE SHIELD OF FAITH, wherewith ye shall be able to QUENCH all the FIERY DARTS OF THE WICKED. 17 And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is THE WORD of God: 18 PRAYING ALWAYS WITH ALL PRAYER and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints . . .” Ephesians 6: 10-18.

And we can DO VALIANTLY and MORE, KNOWING that our WEAPONRY is sharpened, tested and ready for USE whenever REQUIRED for the DESIRED EFFECT in the grace. Much MORE, KNOWING that our GOD is EVER SET to MAKE a PUBLIC SHOW [spectacle] of the enemy and his cohorts as He has DONE BEFORE, and NOW THROUGH US for His GLORY and PRAISE in the grace.

“Through God we shall do VALIANTLY [VICTORIOUSLY]: for He it is that shall TREAD [TRAMPLED] DOWN our ENEMIES” Psalms 60:12/Emphasis Mine.

“When He had DISARMED the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a PUBLIC example of them [exhibiting them as CAPTIVES in His triumphal procession], having TRIUMPHED over them through [a]the cross” Colossians 2:14-15/Amplified.

“Now thanks be unto God, which ALWAYS CAUSETH US to TRIUMPH in Christ, and maketh MANIFEST the savour of his knowledge BY US in EVERY PLACE” 2 Corinthians 2:14.

It may not surprise you how much forecast is made yearly in budgetary investment that is showcased for military might by some nations. Their intent is to ensure that both their OFFENSIVE and DEFENSIVE operations and mechanisms, along with the training of their combatant military forces, are ready and securely set at the top of the range for combating. This they do as a measure to stand out among other nations and to send clear warning signs to their national neighbours and competitors of how prepared they are in any battles that may arise – be it on land, air and sea and such like.

Today, lots of nations are investing heavily to fight cyberspace wars against many factors in the sphere, whilst others are engaged in terrorism of various spheres. This is to tell you that the ENEMY and his COHORTS are at war naturally, as you can hear or see or read about in various places and some are near you, or you are a part of national wars and warfare; whilst others are undergoing some threatening’s and others are witnessing international war investment in various continents of the world. In each case WEAPONRY is involved, with personnel answering to their commandants and heads of state as commissioned.

DESPITE all the huge investments in these natural nations, lives are lost, weaponry and weapons are destroyed, whilst some become obsolete in order to give room to new innovations in technology. These natural wars and warfares are in vast difference from the wars and warfare which the unparalleled armies of God in Christ Jesus are engaged with. They are equally located and stationed in every territory of the world, beyond the limits and boundaries of nations and national limitations.

As in the humanly made army described above that are limited in nature, in comparison to the divinely arranged spiritual army, as ascribed as the UNPARALLELED ARMY – which IS the Church of God in Christ Jesus – the weaponry in use for warfare are not carnal; meaning they are not man-made or humanly crafted. The weaponry in use by the UNPARALLELED ARMY are not external as in the world; but are SPIRITUAL, made as OFFENSIVE and DEFENSIVE armour for spiritual warfare. For our warfare is spiritual and not fought or battled in the flesh (physical), though it has physical effects. Hence our armour is expected to be PUT ON 24/7 by God’s unparalleled army in order to be always ready to triumph in Christ Jesus’ stead in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14. This is also explained in full as enjoined in the epistle scripture of Ephesians 6:10-18, as instructed by Apostle Paul to the Church at Ephesus. It is by PUTTING ON this OFFENSIVE and DEFENSIVE armour that we are able to stand AGAINST the enemy and his cohorts in every phase of warfare in our walk of FAITH in God in Christ Jesus’ stead.

It must be noted that the armour for our warfare to battle against the WILES of the enemy and his cohorts and their modes of operandi – in every and all their forms of manifestation against our FAITH in Christ Jesus – are readily available for our disposal and utilisation. Our place in Christ is to EXERCISE the rights and privileges in the FAITH upon which we stand in Christ Jesus, in order to enact, authentic and put the weapons and armour into use, to ensure and assure the essence and purpose for which it has been given to us all – as the REDEEMED of God in Christ Jesus’ stead.

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED BY FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also we have ACCESS BY FAITH into this GRACE WHEREIN WE STAND, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God” Romans 5:1-2.

For when our grandstanding PURPOSE are not exercised or utilised, and are misused, the enemy rules and reigns – Hence there are many REDEEMED children of God today, that are still struggling in their walk and work with God. This is for their inability to EXERCISE or to be EXERCISING the SURE and ASSURED weaponry, to bring ALL the works of the enemy and his cohorts down to the footstool. Just as our Lord and Saviour Jesus in His humanity, and the early Disciples – called Apostles – did exercise in their time, as examples before us and for our learning ahead of time in Christ Jesus’ stead. Hence we are enjoined in this Scripture:

“For though we WALK in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not CARRYING ON our [spiritual] WARFARE according to the flesh and using the WEAPONS of man. 4 THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE ARE NOT PHYSICAL [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our WEAPONS are DIVINELY POWERFUL for the destruction of fortresses.5 We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ, 6 being ready to punish every act of disobedience, when your own obedience [as a church] is complete” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6/Amplified.

“Behold, they shall SURELY GATHER TOGETHER, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. 16 Behold, I have CREATED the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an INSTRUMENT for his work; and I have CREATED the waster to destroy. 17 No WEAPON that is FORMED AGAINST thee shall PROSPER; and every TONGUE that shall rise AGAINST thee in JUDGMENT thou shalt condemn. This is the HERITAGE of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord” Isaiah 54:15-17.

Herein are some major spiritual weaponry and armour to be exercised and put to use in order – to authenticate, enact and realise our VICTORY in ALL battles and warfare:

EXERCISING the spirit of being always on your UNIFORM – SPIRITUAL
ARMOURING and WEAPONRY – Ephesians 6:10-18.
EXERCISING the WORD of FAITH (Knowledge and understanding of the WORD and Faith declaration or Confession of the WORD accordingly) – Mark 11:22-23; Luke 4:1-3; Luke 4:1-13; Deuteronomy 8:3; Psalms 91:11-12; Revelation 12:11; Matthew 8:16; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 2:15; 1 Peter 5:8-9; John 6:63; Hebrews 10:23; Proverbs 6:2; Romans 10:8-10.
EXERCISING the NAME of JESUS – Luke 10:17; Philippians 2:9-11; Acts 4:12; Acts 3:6-7; 1 Timothy 2:5; Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:16-20; John 14:12-17.
EXERCISING the BLOOD of JESUS – Revelation 12:11; Hebrews 9:12; Colossians 1:14: Ephesians 1:7; Revelation 5:9-10; Revelation 1:5-6.
EXERCISING the Power of PRAISE and WORSHIP – Psalms 149; Psalms 150; Psalms 8:2; 2 Chronicles 20:20-25, Joshua 6:1-21.
EXERCISING the PLACE of PRAYERS and FASTING – Acts 4:23-31; Acts 6:4; Mark 1:35; Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13; Matthew 17:13-21/Mark 9:14-29; Luke 18:1-8; James 5:13-16; Mark 6:12-13. Matthew 6:5-18.
EXERCISING the Leadership of the Holy Spirit – Acts 1:8; Luke 24:49; John 3:8; John 16:13-15; Romans 8: 11-16, 26-27; Jude 1:20; Ephesians 6:18.

And there are three strategic WILES and MODES of OPERANDI that are scripturally known to be in use by satan and his cohorts against our FAITH in Christ Jesus. And for each we are fully informed with the Scriptural ANTIDOTE that can and will always COMBAT the enemy and his cohorts’ wiles, as we are enjoined to:

“PUT ON THE WHOLE Armour of God, that ye may be ABLE to STAND AGAINST the WILES of the DEVIL” Ephesians 6:11.

Herein are the ENEMY and his COHORTS wiles and modes of Operandi and our instructed antidote to note concerning them – and how to deal with their craft and cunning tactics accordingly:

AS A ROARING LION – 1 Peter 5:8.
ANTIDOTE: 1 Peter 5:9; James 4:7.
AS A WOLF IN SHEEP CLOTHING – Matthew 7:15.
ANTIDOTE: Matthew 7:16, 20.
AS AN ANGEL OF LIGHT – 2 Corinthians 11:13-15.
ANTIDOTE: 1 Corinthians 12:8-10.

Suffice it to know full well that overtime, one thing is certain and it’s worth noting that – Kingdoms, Nations, Empires, Politicians, Political and Military dictators, Kings and Rulers that have covenanted with satan and his cohorts to do evil and wickedness, have risen and fallen – lost their greatness and collapsed, reigned and died. Yet the Church of God in Christ Jesus – hallelujah – the greatest and only UNPARALLELED ARMY force that’s universally located and stationed and known on earth, beneath the earth and in the heavens, keeps marching on triumphantly in the face of absolute oppositions and challenges. And all this in spite of all the attacks of the ENEMY and his COHORTS on God’s mandate – plan, purpose and pursuit – through His UNPARALLELED ARMY, the Church of God in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

“Crowns and thrones may perish

Kingdoms rise and wane

But the Church of Jesus constant will remain:

Gates of hell can never

‘Gainst that Church prevail;

We have Christ’s own promise –

And that cannot fail” – S. Baring-Gould

The UNPARALLELED ARMY, the CHURCH of God is undaunted in every way by the challenges that are emanating today and any day in the future. Because the Kingdom purpose and cause is of God and IT IS an EVERLASTING KINGDOM. And thus, it endures and will endure through ALL GENERATIONS, irrespective of the challenges, opposition and difficulties in the pathway, as we SEE DAILY in ALL the multimedia channels and events near you.

“Thy KINGDOM IS AN EVERLASTING KINGDOM, and thy DOMINION endureth throughout ALL GENERATIONS” Psalms 145:13.

“For THE KINGDOM is the Lord’s: and he is the GOVERNOR among THE NATIONS” Psalms 22:28.

The militant-like soldier – the Church of God in Christ Jesus/ stead – is at WAR with the FLESH within; and without, at WAR with the enemy and his cohorts that are against our FAITH in Christ Jesus. At WAR with spiritual forces and principalities and powers in heavenly and earthly places of doing life. At WAR with man-made religious dogmas and denominational entanglements, doctrinal sectarian bonds and traditional byelaws and creeds in the name of God. And at war with many such like as may be identified by the Holy Spirit in the WORD of God, as He leads the Church – you, local and universal.

“FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses” 1 Timothy 6:12

“Be SOBER, be VIGILANT (SMARTLY SENSITIVE, ALERT); because your ADVERSARY THE DEVIL, AS A ROARING LION, WALKETH ABOUT, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR: 9 whom RESIST STEDFAST IN THE FAITH, knowing that the same AFFLICTIONS are accomplished in your BRETHREN that are in THE WORLD. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you PERFECT, STABLISH, STRENGTHEN, SETTLE YOU. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” 1 Peter 5:8-11;

And because we ARE at war and warfare entails it, it takes a spirited, combatant, Militant-Like Soldier stand to combat, to win and triumph daily and always – as Apostle Paul admonished Timothy in the Holy writ of 2 Timothy 2:1-5. And to be a Soldier of Christ under the heavenly – wherein our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ is the captain of the host of God’s unparalleled army on earth, with the angelic assisted army – is a promise of full assurance of victory, triumph, overcoming and such like. Joshua 5:13-15. And this rare privilege to be a Militant-like Soldier is made possible by the grace of God and that gives us in earthly sphere the right to be His ambassadorial representatives in Christ Jesus’ stead – 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. And as such, there is no room for errors and perversions in our walk in His stead. We must war lawfully and obediently, otherwise we will be court-martialled and declared upon with a “PERSONA NON GRATA” status for woefully defiling and disobeying orders as expected. 2 Timothy 1:1-5; 2 Corinthians 10:3-6.

Be assured that our weaponry is sure, assured to bring all things under God’s control. For in Christ Jesus all things – flesh, animate and inanimate – are subdued and brought into SUBJECTION to the captain of the HOST of God’s unparalleled army. (John 17:2; John 13:3; Philippians 3:20-21; Matthew 28:18; Mark 16:15-20; Luke 10:17-20).

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his SWORD DRAWN IN HIS HAND: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? 14 And he said, Nay; but as CAPTAIN OF THE HOST of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? 15 And THE CAPTAIN of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so” Joshua 5:13-15.

“Finally, my brethren, be STRONG in the Lord, and in the POWER of his might. 11 PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD, that ye may be able to STAND AGAINST THE WILES of the devil. 12 For we WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, but AGAINST principalities, AGAINST powers, AGAINST the rulers of the darkness of this world, AGAINST spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole ARMOUR of God, that ye may be able to WITHSTAND in the EVIL day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your LOINS girt about with TRUTH, and having on THE BREASTPLATE of righteousness; 15 and your feet shod with the preparation of THE GOSPEL of peace; 16 above all, taking THE SHIELD OF FAITH, wherewith ye shall be able to QUENCH all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the HELMET of salvation, and THE SWORD of the Spirit, which is THE WORD of God: 18 PRAYING always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints . . .” Ephesians 6:10-20.

“It is true that I am an ordinary, weak human being, but I don’t use human plans and methods to WIN MY BATTLES. 4 I use God’s MIGHTY WEAPONS, NOT THOSE MADE BY MEN, to knock down the devil’s strongholds. 5 These WEAPONS can break down every proud argument against God and every wall that can be built to keep men from finding Him. With these WEAPONS I can capture rebels and bring them back to God and change them into men whose hearts’ desire is obedience to Christ. 6 I will use these weapons against every rebel who remains after I have first used them on you yourselves and you surrender to Christ” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (LB).

“This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest WAR A GOOD WARFARE; 19 HOLDING FAITH, AND A GOOD CONSCIENCE; which some having PUT AWAY CONCERNING FAITH have made shipwreck: 20 of whom is Hymenæus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme” 1 Timothy 1:18-20.

“I HAVE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT, I have finished my course, I have KEPT THE FAITH: 8 henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing” 2 Timothy 4:7-8.

“ASSOCIATE yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be BROKEN in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. 10 Take COUNSEL TOGETHER, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: FOR GOD IS WITH US. 11 For the Lord spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, 12 SAY YE NOT, A CONFEDERACY, to all them to whom this people shall say, A CONFEDERACY; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. 13 SANCTIFY the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread . . . 16 BIND UP THE TESTIMONY, SEAL THE LAW AMONG MY DISCIPLES. 17 And I will wait upon the Lord, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. 18 Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. 19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? 20 TO THE LAW AND TO THE TESTIMONY: IF THEY SPEAK NOT ACCORDING TO THIS WORD, IT IS BECAUSE THERE IS NO LIGHT IN THEM . . .” Isaiah 8:9-22

“And they OVERCAME him by the blood of the Lamb, and by THE WORD of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death” Revelation 12:11.

“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL against it” Matthew 16:18.

“Now thanks be unto God, which ALWAYS CAUSETH US TO TRIUMPH in Christ, and maketh MANIFEST the savour of his knowledge by us in EVERY PLACE” 2 Corinthians 2:14.

“But thanks be to God, which GIVETH US THE VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Corinthians 15:57.

“Nay, in all these things WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS through him that loved us” Romans 8:37.

“For whatsoever is born of God OVERCOMETH the world: and this is the victory that OVERCOMETH the world, even our FAITH. 5 Who is he that OVERCOMETH the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5.

“Ye ARE of God, little children, and have OVERCOME them: because GREATER is HE that is IN you, than he that is in the world. 5 They ARE of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We ARE of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of ERROR” 1 John 4:4-6.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW CREATION; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not IMPUTING their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the WORD OF RECONCILIATION. 20 Now then, WE ARE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM” 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.

“Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who GAVE himself for our sins, that he might DELIVER us from THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD, according to THE WILL of God and our Father: 5 to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” Galatians 1:3-5.

SUMMARY:

This is a prophetic charge to the Church as God’s UNPARALLELED ARMY to WAKE UP, ARM UP, and WARFARE according to Scripture. It is not natural warfare, but SPIRITUAL WARFARE with DIVINE WEAPONRY.

THE CORE REALITY: WE ARE IN WAR

Every born-again believer IS a battlefield — knowingly and unknowingly.

The ENEMY and his COHORTS ARE ROARING, ROAMING, SEEKING whom to DEVOUR — [1 Peter 5:8-11].

Our warfare is NOT CARNAL. “The weapons of our warfare are NOT PHYSICAL” — [2 Corinthians 10:3-6]. They are DIVINELY POWERFUL to destroy fortresses, arguments, and proud things.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper — [Isaiah 54:15-17]. This is the HERITAGE of the servants of the Lord.

THE MANDATE: EXERCISE THE ARMOUR AND WEAPONRY DAILY

We are called to DAILY SHARPEN and KEEP READY our spiritual instrument — [Ecclesiastes 10:10].
Major spiritual weaponry to be EXERCISED:

THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD — Truth, Righteousness, Gospel of Peace, Faith, Salvation, Word, Prayer — [Ephesians 6:10-18] to STAND AGAINST THE WILES OF THE DEVIL.

THE WORD OF FAITH — Knowledge, declaration, confession — [Mark 11:22-23; Hebrews 4:12; Romans 10:8-10].

THE NAME OF JESUS — Authority over all — [Philippians 2:9-11; Mark 16:16-20].

THE BLOOD OF JESUS — Victory and cleansing — [Revelation 12:11; Ephesians 1:7].

PRAISE AND WORSHIP — Weapon that brings down walls — [Psalms 149; 2 Chronicles 20:20-25; Joshua 6].

PRAYER AND FASTING — Power for breakthrough — [Acts 4:23-31; Matthew 17:21].

THE LEADERSHIP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT — Guidance and power — [Romans 8:11-16; Ephesians 6:18].

THE CERTAINTY OF VICTORY: KINGDOMS FALL, THE CHURCH MARCHES ON

Kingdoms, empires, dictators that covenanted with satan have RISEN and FALLEN.

Yet the CHURCH of God in Christ Jesus — the UNPARALLELED ARMY — keeps MARCHING ON TRIUMPHANTLY on earth, beneath the earth, and in the heavens.

Because the Kingdom is EVERLASTING — [Psalms 145:13; 22:28].
“The gates of hell shall NOT prevail against it” — [Matthew 16:18].

God makes a PUBLIC SHOW of the enemy — [Colossians 2:14-15].
“Through God we shall do VALIANTLY, for He shall TREAD DOWN our enemies” — [Psalm 60:12].

THE IDENTITY AND DISCIPLINE OF THE SOLDIER

The MILITANT-LIKE SOLDIER is at WAR:
With the FLESH WITHIN, with the ENEMY WITHOUT, with spiritual forces, with religious dogmas and creeds, and with all the Holy Spirit exposes.

We WAR LAWFULLY and OBEDIENTLY — [2 Timothy 2:1-5; 2 Corinthians 10:3-6].
To war otherwise is to be COURT-MARTIALLED — “PERSONA NON GRATA”.

This privilege is by GRACE. We are AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST — [2 Corinthians 5:17-21].

Christ Jesus is the CAPTAIN OF THE HOST — [Joshua 5:13-15]. With the angelic assisted army, VICTORY IS ASSURED.

The Church is God’s UNPARALLELED ARMY. The battle is spiritual. The weapons are divine. The enemy’s tactics are exposed. The armour is available. The victory is assured in Christ Jesus. Therefore: SHARPEN, PUT ON, STAND, EXERCISE, and TRIUMPH 24/7.

YOU ARE BORN OF GOD TO SUCCEED AND BE MEANINGFULLY FULFILLED: AND IT’S BY THE PRINCIPLE OF THE WORD AND NOT BY METHODS!

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do ERR (ERRONEOUSLY, MISTAKENLY), not KNOWING the scriptures, nor the POWER of God” Matthew 22:29/Emphasis Mine.

“And say to Archippus, TAKE HEED to the MINISTRY which thou hast RECEIVED in the Lord, that thou FULFIL it” Colossians 4:17.

There is an awaiting daily TRIUMPH, VICTORY, OVERCOMING and being A MORE THAN CONQUEROR for you in God in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

However, in life we are faced daily by THE POWER OF CHOICE . . . and that is to BECOME by THE WORD of God, or by our fleshly self-made belief, or by man-made religious secularism or sectarianism and such like.

For God’s WORD is IRREVOCABLE in all His promises . . .
Hence, to BECOME in that desired yearning of your heart by the enabling power of self-choice in IGNORANCE of THE WORD of God is DEADLY, FRUSTRATING, UNPRODUCTIVE, DIFFICULT and DESTRUCTIVE.

Therefore, SELAH — PAUSE and THINK.
IGNORANCE is not just bad enough, but a DIS-EASE [UNEASE] place and position that is worse than any cancerous disease — which God abhors and once winked at. [Acts 17:30-31]
For it breeds stupidity, foolishness and arrogance.
For by IGNORANCE, many talents, vision, dreams, aspirations and such like, that are needed to enhance life and godly living, have ended up in the graveyards UNFULFILLED.
And those who by chance have amassed anything by ignorance, have ended up in a deadly place of unproductivity, as it is thus written:

“The man that WANDERETH out of THE WAY OF UNDERSTANDING shall remain in the CONGREGATION of the DEAD (IGNORANCE, FOOLISHNESS, STUPIDITY, UNPRODUCTIVE)” Proverbs 21:16 Emphasis Mine.

In life as a child of God, you can only RECOVER and enter your place of greatness and fulfilment when you DISCOVER the PRINCIPLE of the WORKING of THE WORD of God. This is profound when one take the light from Habakkuk 2:2 which states:

“And the Lord answered me, and said, WRITE the VISION, and MAKE it PLAIN upon TABLES, that he may RUN that READETH it”.

The Scriptures did not say “He that RUNS or RUNNETH may READ” but rather that “he MAY RUN that READS or READETH”.
Meaning NO READING, NO RUNNING, no matter the prevailing circumstances about you.

The principle there is this: that you have to READ in order to acquire the required KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING of the VISIONED CONCEPT for an ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory direction. That is to say, to obtain the clarity to enable you WALK in WISDOM before running with that life vision of Business, Career, Ministry, Leadership, Governance, Marriage [Marital-Relationships], Friendship-Relationship and such like.

If otherwise you RUN before you READ to know and understand the road map of your ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory, then FAILURE awaits, just as many have fallen and become victims of their own creations.

It is because of their RUNNING by mere zeal or passion without READING to KNOW and UNDERSTAND the fulness at hand of their VISIONED CONCEPT.

Simply know for the truth that a good understanding breeds favour, productivity, efficiency, effortlessness and calmness, as it is written:

“GOOD UNDERSTANDING GIVETH FAVOUR: but the way of TRANSGRESSORS (IGNORANCE) is HARD (DIFFICULT, UNPRODUCTIVE, STRESSFUL)” Proverbs 13:15 (Emphasis Mine).

Today, make amends, RE-EVALUATE your vision by READING again before RUNNING.

THE POWER OF CHOICE – To BECOME By The WORD Is BLESSEDNESS . . . And To BECOME By IGNORANCE Is DEADLY.

You were BORN OF GOD TO SUCCEED AND BE MEANINGFULLY FULFILLED. But it will not happen by zeal, passion, or man-made systems. It happens BY THE PRINCIPLE OF THE WORD.

THE FOUNDATION: KNOW THE WORD AND THE POWER OF GOD

Matthew 22:29 — “Ye do ERR, not KNOWING the scriptures, nor the POWER of God”
Error, mistakes, and powerlessness come from ignorance of the Word.
God has an awaiting daily TRIUMPH, VICTORY, OVERCOMING and being A MORE THAN CONQUEROR for you in Christ Jesus’ stead. But you access it through the Word.

THE DAILY REALITY: THE POWER OF CHOICE

Every day you face a choice of how you will BECOME:

BY THE WORD of God — God’s promises are IRREVOCABLE

By fleshly self-made belief

By man-made religious secularism, sectarianism, and such like

To choose to become by IGNORANCE of THE WORD is DEADLY, FRUSTRATING, UNPRODUCTIVE, DIFFICULT and DESTRUCTIVE.

THE DANGER OF IGNORANCE

IGNORANCE is called a DIS-EASE [UNEASE]. It is worse than any cancerous disease and is what God abhors — Acts 17:30-31.
What ignorance produces:

Stupidity, foolishness and arrogance

Unfulfilled talents, vision, dreams and aspirations that end up in the graveyard

Unproductivity even if anything is amassed by chance

Proverbs 21:16* — “The man that WANDERETH out of THE WAY OF UNDERSTANDING shall remain in the CONGREGATION of the DEAD”

THE DIVINE PRINCIPLE: READ BEFOREYOURUN

The order is not “He that runs may read”. It is “he MAY RUN that READS”.
Meaning: NO READING, NO RUNNING.

Why?
Reading gives you KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING of the VISIONED CONCEPT. That gives you clarity to WALK IN WISDOM before you run in:
Business, Career, Ministry, Leadership, Governance, Marriage, Friendship and every area of life.

If you RUN before you READ, FAILURE awaits. Many have become victims of their own creations because they ran with zeal and passion but without knowing and understanding the fulness of their vision.

Proverbs 13:15 — “GOOD UNDERSTANDING GIVETH FAVOUR: but the way of TRANSGRESSORS [IGNORANCE] is HARD”
Good understanding produces favour, productivity, efficiency, effortlessness and calmness.

THE CALL TO ACTION: RE-EVALUATE AND CHOOSE WISELY

Today the charge is: make amends. RE-EVALUATE your vision by READING again before RUNNING.

THE POWER OF CHOICE:

IN ONE SENTENCE:
God has ordained you for daily triumph and fulfilment, but you must choose the Word over ignorance, because success in every area of life only comes by reading, knowing, and understanding the principles of the Word before you run — otherwise zeal without knowledge leads to failure and unproductivity.

A MILITANT-LIKE SOLDIER: THE UNPARALLELED ARMY – The CHURCH of God in Christ Jesus stead!

“Thou therefore, my son, be STRONG in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same COMMIT thou to FAITHFUL men, who shall be able to TEACH others also. 3 Thou therefore endure hardness, AS A GOOD SOLDIER of Jesus Christ. 4 No man that WARRETH entangleth himself with the AFFAIRS of this life; that he may PLEASE him who hath CHOSEN him to be a SOLDIER. 5 And if a man also STRIVE FOR MASTERIES, yet is he NOT CROWNED, except he STRIVE LAWFULLY” 2 Timothy 2:1-5

The Church of God, as an UNPARALLELED ARMY, is like a militant soldier who is daily at WAR in every aspect of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus’ stead.
The Church of Christ is engaged constantly and continuously in spiritual WARFARE.

And everyone born of God’s nature in Christ Jesus needs to know it and be ready to engage whenever and wherever in this spiritual battle that has physical effect in our world, with resultant challenges to individuals’ lives, families, communities, nations, and more.

AND YOU ARE THE CHURCH THAT’S GLORIOUS, MILITANT-LIKE SOLDIER AND TRIUMPHANT IN NATURE IN CHRIST JESUS, BUILT-UP TO WIN AND TRIUMPH DAILY AS SET AND ASSURED

“But THANKS be to God, Who in Christ always LEADS us in TRIUMPH [as TROPHIES of Christ’s victory] and through us SPREADS and makes EVIDENT the FRAGRANCE of the knowledge of God EVERYWHERE, 15 For we are the SWEET FRAGRANCE of Christ [which exhales] unto God, [discernible alike] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing” 2 Corinthians 2:14-15/Amplified Classic Edition.

“When He had DISARMED the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil OPERATING AGAINST us], He made a PUBLIC example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His TRIUMPHAL PROCESSION], having TRIUMPHED OVER them through the cross” Colossians 2:14-15/Amplified.

The Church of God, in Christ Jesus’ stead, though engaged in constant MILITANT-LIKE spiritual warfare, is also a TRIUMPHANT Church.
Every warfare and battle defines, refines, refreshes, energises, rejuvenates, refires, and renews the Church; hence the Church is GLORIOUS in all, because its beauty is awesome despite satanic and cohorts’ efforts to fake, duplicate, pervert, and counterfeit these glorious attributes.

Therefore, get engaged and don’t watch from the sidelines or grandstand, else you become victim and prey rather than victor.
You are a WINNER in Christ Jesus’ stead any day and any way, everywhere, as long as you know and understand that you are equipped — being born of God and filled with His Spirit — to get engaged with the battles within and without.
Ephesians 6:10-20

The militant-like soldier — the Church of God in Christ Jesus’ stead — is at WAR with the FLESH within; and at WAR without, with the ENEMY and COHORTS that are against our FAITH in Christ Jesus; and at WAR with spiritual forces and PRINCIPALITIES and POWERS in heavenly and earthly places of doing life; and at WAR with man-made religious dogmas, denominational entanglements, doctrinal sectarian bonds, and traditional bye-laws and creeds in the name of God; and at WAR with many such like as may be identified by the Holy Spirit in the WORD of God as He leads the Church — you, local and universal.
[2 Corinthians 10:3-6; Ephesians 6:10-20; Galatians 1:6-9; Jude 1:3-4; Philippians 1:15-18; Philippians 3:18-19; 1 Peter 5:8-10; Acts 8:10-25]

And this WAR and WARFARE is about our FAITH in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Hence Apostle Paul says we should FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH, indicating that some fights are uncalled-for, not good fights, not fights worth engaging in, and we should be aliens to them by every means.

Suffice it to know that the ENEMY and COHORTS are not necessarily after your physical possessions and wellbeing in their engagement of WAR and WARFARE against you.
They are actually using the things you think THEY ARE after as a distraction from the real deal.
Their main target is your FAITH — to make you GIVE UP on your faith in God in Christ Jesus.

Knowing that, as long as your steadfastness in God in Christ Jesus remains steady, you can ALWAYS recover all losses by winning and victorious FAITH, as Job did [1 John 5:3-5].
For Job recovered the more by taking the stand that the REDEEMER lives, in spite of all he went through with Satan and cohorts, friends, and wife against his stand in God — Job 19:25; Job 42:10-17.

“FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses” 1 Timothy 6:12

And because we ARE at war and warfare, it takes a spirited Militant-Like Soldier stand to win and triumph daily and always, as Apostle Paul admonished Timothy in the Holy Writ of 2 Timothy 2:1-5.
And to be a Soldier of Christ under the heavenly, wherein our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ is the Captain of the host of God’s unparalleled army on earth with the angelically assisted army, is a promise of full assurance of victory, triumph, overcoming, and such like. Joshua 5:13-15
And this rare privilege to be a Militant-like Soldier is made possible by the grace of God, and that gives us in the earthly sphere the right to be His ambassadors and representatives in Christ Jesus’ stead — 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.
And as such, there is no room for errors and perversions in our walk in His stead. We need to war lawfully and obediently, otherwise we will be court-martialled and declared “PERSONA NON GRATA” for woefully defiling and disobeying orders as expected. [2 Timothy 2:1-5; 2 Corinthians 10:3-6]

Herein are some lessons to keep in mind as the UNPARALLELED ARMY — the Church of God in Christ Jesus’ stead — in order to avoid setbacks and set-ups, and to create a safety and security net that is WORTH doing to win in life and grace.

To begin with, WHAT IS A CHURCH?
A Church is you — an individual, the local, and the universal body of born-again Believers of God — on the WORD of God in Christ Jesus, filled with and led by the Holy Spirit, having under a Shepherd.
The reason why this CHURCH definition is important in the context of the Scriptures is because there are many loose individuals and local Believers out there who belong to no Shepherd, or rather are not under any Shepherd for reckoning, and as such are unaccountable to any under God as the Scripture has enjoined — [Hebrews 13:16-17].
Such Believers are vulnerable, positioned in a state of vulnerability knowingly or unknowingly — which is a state of ignorance, foolishness, arrogance, and stupidity due to zealousness without knowledge and understanding in context and perception.

For a while, my younger children have been watching a Netflix documentary programme called OUR PLANET. In the course of sitting with the children on a few occasions, I became curious about how the cat family — especially the Lion and Leopard — easily target their prey in order to feed and make a meal of them.
Most of the time, I discovered they are always looking to target a stand-alone prey from the herd. And once identified, in their chase they can corner that vulnerable stand-alone, and their day’s meal is set and made readily ready.
And it gives me a picture of how the ENEMY and COHORTS go about looking for that vulnerable stand-alone Believer in Christ Jesus — who is not keen to have a covering Shepherd over their head. They roam about as spiritual harlots, accountable to no one, and none can account on their behalf — Hebrews 13:16-17.
These Believers that belong to no fellowship, or local assembly, or attend any gathering of God’s precious and redeemed people are exposed as lone soldiers for the enemy and cohorts to PREY upon in challenging and difficult times.

DON’T BE A LONE MILITANT-LIKE SOLDIER, BELIEVER, AND MINISTER IN THE BODY OF CHRIST GOSPEL MINISTRY
When you think that because you can read the Bible and pray to Father God in Christ Jesus, and speak in tongues of the Holy Spirit, you do not need interaction, communication, and fellowship with other Believers of the same Father — you are knowingly setting yourself up as a lone soldier.
I have seen people who are so bound to their set denomination, doctrine, and sectarian setting that when they come to a new dwelling place and cannot find the same kind of local assembly they came from, they will not worship and serve God wholeheartedly in any new place of gathering.
And some will immediately form their own gathering as if that is the only mark to worship and serve God worthily and acceptably and make heaven.
And unfortunately, some Ministers are not in any way out of this hook, because they have so much indoctrinated people with denominational spirit rather than with the Gospel of the body ministry of Christ Jesus. As such, they use their opportunity to open up an extension of their denomination branch and immediately make such people Pastors overnight, even when the individuals know there is no call of God upon their life for such spiritual placement and position. Hence today there are all manner of confusion, schisms, perversion, and adulteration in the body ministry of the Gospel of Christ Jesus.
And it is of such like that Apostle Paul warns Timothy not to suddenly lay hands on any man for a spiritual high office, to safeguard the body ministry — 1 Timothy 5:22.

In my watching over natural national militant soldiers and interacting with a few to hear their respective storylines, one thing I have learnt and can conclude is that they never fight alone without team spirit and set back-ups, so that when there is an injury from the enemy and cohorts’ side, there is an immediate response to take their own out of the battle side, whether dead or alive, to preserve the honour, dignity, and integrity to SERVE as a soldier.
Unfortunately, in Church life over the years, especially where ignorance, stupidity, foolishness, and schism exist, I have seen from the grandstand where fellow UNPARALLELED ARMY are abandoned and left for the enemy and cohorts to have a full feed day upon, in the name of punishment or sectarian reasons.
Yet, the Commandant of the UNPARALLELED ARMY, our Lord Jesus, will not abandon and let His own be devoured, but will take them along as the good, Chief, and Great Shepherd of the sheep, to nurse His own and strengthen them so that they can recover speedily and live to fight another day, as David did against the Lion and the Bear that came for his father’s sheep he was shepherding — and he was able to keep the sheep safe, secure, and protected as the Scriptures recorded — 1 Samuel 17:34-37.

You ARE a MILITANT-LIKE SOLDIER.
You ARE THE UNPARALLELED ARMY.
You ARE the CHURCH of God in Christ Jesus’ stead.
Be wise to take your place and PUT OFF the civilian uniform and PUT ON the armour of who you ARE in God in Christ Jesus’ stead.

SUMMARY:
The message presents the Church of God as God’s UNPARALLELED ARMY — militant-like soldiers engaged in constant spiritual warfare, yet at the same time triumphant, glorious and victorious in Christ Jesus.

Be STRONG in the grace that is in Christ Jesus

THE NATURE OF THE WARFARE

This is not physical war. The Church is at WAR:

Within — with the FLESH

Without — with the ENEMY and COHORTS against our FAITH

With spiritual forces, PRINCIPALITIES and POWERS

With man-made religious dogmas, denominationalism, sectarian bonds, traditions
The real target of the enemy is not your possessions. It is your FAITH — to make you GIVE UP on God. But like Job, victorious faith means you can ALWAYS recover all losses — Job 19:25; Job 42:10-17; 1 John 5:3-5.

THE CHURCH’S TRIUMPHANT IDENTITY

Though in warfare, the Church is GLORIOUS and TRIUMPHANT.

Christ has already DISARMED rulers and authorities and TRIUMPHED OVER them — Colossians 2:14-15

God ALWAYS CAUSES US TO TRIUMPH in Christ — 2 Corinthians 2:14

We are MORE THAN CONQUERORS — Romans 8:37

The GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL — Matthew 16:18
Every battle defines, refines, energises and renews the Church. Satan’s attempts to fake and counterfeit cannot diminish her beauty.

THE CALL: DON’T BE A LONE SOLDIER

A key warning: DON’T BE A LONE MILITANT-LIKE SOLDIER.
Using the illustration from OUR PLANET, lions and leopards target stand-alone prey. In the same way the enemy looks for Believers with no covering Shepherd, no fellowship, no local assembly.
Hebrews 13:16-17 is cited — we need to be accountable under a Shepherd.
Problems highlighted:

Denominational bondage that prevents worshipping elsewhere

People forming their own gatherings without calling

Ministers making people Pastors overnight without God’s call — 1 Timothy 5:22
This creates confusion, schisms and perversion.
Like natural soldiers who fight with team spirit and back-ups, the Church must not abandon her own. Jesus as Commandant and Great Shepherd will nurse, strengthen and restore us to fight again — 1 Samuel 17:34-37.

OUR PRIVILEGE AND RESPONSIBILITY

Because of grace, we have the right to be ambassadors and representatives of Christ — 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.
Christ is the Captain of the host with an angelically assisted army — Joshua 5:13-15.
Therefore we must war LAWFULLY and OBEDIENTLY, else we face spiritual “court-martial”.

FINAL CHARGE

You ARE a MILITANT-LIKE SOLDIER. You ARE THE UNPARALLELED ARMY. You ARE the CHURCH.
Put off the civilian uniform. PUT ON the armour of God. Be wise, be in fellowship, be under covering, and FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH — 1 Timothy 6:12.

Because we are in a daily spiritual war, every believer must recognise they are part of God’s UNPARALLELED ARMY, fight lawfully and in community under Christ the Captain, guard their faith above all, and live as a triumphant, glorious Church that cannot be defeated.

GOD’S POWER AND GRACE THROUGH AGAPE LOVE: IT’S GOD’S VITALITY FOR ONE TO WIN AND TRIUMPH IN LIFE AND GODLY LIVING!

“And when they had PRAYED, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all FILLED with the Holy Ghost, and they spake THE WORD of God with BOLDNESS . . . 33 And with GREAT POWER gave the apostles WITNESS of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and GREAT GRACE was upon them all” Acts 4:31, 33.

God’s love – AGAPE, it’s the vitality you need to do life and live through any phase of human endeavours by FAITH. The reason being that the LOVE of God is SHED abundantly and lavishly spread abroad in our HEARTS [the human spirit] by the Holy Ghost, and it’s not of our head else it’s PERVERSION; and God has COMMENDED His LOVE toward us in Christ Jesus, which is makes it awesome and graciously gracious.

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is SHED abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us . .8 But God commendeth His LOVE toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:5, 8.

As you kick starts life demands today, being another opportunity to THRIVE and not SURVIVE, if you can start LOVING genuinely from the stagnation and famine that you’ve been in God’s AGAPE love, you can then experience the working POWER and GRACE of God that enhances your FAITH to win and triumph in life. For the POWER is too FUNCTION while the GRACE is to make you BECOME of God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

Herein are some SCRIPTURAL VITALITY OF LOVE for your perusal. Meditate and be blessed:

Love gives power of initiative, is a giver, sacrificial: John 3:16-17.

Love is the royal law for the redeemed who are a royal priesthood – kings & priests unto God: James 2:8; Revelation 5:9-10; 1 Peter 2:5, 9.

Love works no ill to self or others and it’s the fulfilment of all God’s commands: Romans 13:8, 10.

There is no hypocrisy or dissemination in love. It sees people through in life and not through people: Romans 12:9 –11; Philippians 2:3-4.

There’s NO fear in love: 1 John 4:17–18.

Love is the greatest gift in ranking: 1 Corinthians 13:13.

Love is the end of all commandments and above all things: 1 Peter 4:7–9.

Love is the bond of perfection (maturity, completeness): Colossians 3:12–14.

Love is the excellent way to enhance and manifest the Ministerial and Spiritual gifts; and Character (Fruit) gifts of the Holy Spirit: 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 31 – 13:1-13; Ephesians 4:7-16; Galatians 5:13, 22-25.

Love restores the weak ones back to Faith not an accuser: Galatians 6:1; John 8:1-11; John 4.

Love is the most excellent way to excel and to have overflowing life: 1 Corinthians 12:31.

Love is considerate: John 15:13.

Love is patient, kind, not boastful or arrogant, not selfish and keeps record of no wrong and more: 1 Corinthians 13.

Love forgives and does not offend: Psalm 119:165.

Love edifies – builds. 1 Corinthians 8:1–3.

Love overlooks a multitude of sins: Proverbs 10:12, 1 Peter 4:8, John 3:16.

Know full well that living in LOVE through the Holy Spirit of LOVE – makes all the difference in doing life and living godly in the grace.

OBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE – THE VICTORY AND TRIUMPH STAND: ONLY MADE POSSIBLE WHEN YOUR OBEDIENCE IS ACTIVATED TO FULFIL PURPOSE!

“And we know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER for GOOD to them that LOVE God, to them who are the CALLED according to His PURPOSE. 29 For whom He did FOREKNOW, He also did PREDESTINATE to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also CALLED: and whom He called, them He also JUSTIFIED: and whom He justified, them He also GLORIFIED” Romans 8:28-30.

Everyone wants the best of God in all they do and wants to do in life and godly living; but not everyone wants to be OBEDIENT TO THE FAITH STAND IN THE GRACE as expected of all who WANTS the best out of God and to be FULFILLED in all about life and living godly. This I have known and have come to realised in course of time, in dealing with many in the cause of personalised FAITH-BASED and GODLY-INSPIRED COUNSELING SURGERY sections that happens now and always, on a day by day basis. Some don’t want to share and partake in the PRINCIPLE of RESPONSIBILITY and ACCOUNTABILITY accorded to the CAUSE of them to be fulfilled purpose in God, in Christ Jesus stead, but still want to have it all which can’t happen, no matter the religion and sacrificial activities one thus engaged to make up. My dear, OBEDIENCE is the main switchboard act of faithfulness to the cause to advance God’s Kingdom and to keep the enemy at bay.

“Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 4 and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: 5 by whom we have received grace and apostleship, for OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH among all nations, for his name: 6 among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ” Romans 1:3-6.

It was in OBEDIENCE that our Saviour and Lord keyed into, while in humanity, to become the author of eternal salvation toward all who intend in God to experience same like FULFILMENT, in FAITHFULNESS and all GOODNESS to DIVINELY driven PURPOSE as it’s written concerning our Lord Jesus Christ:

“. . . 7 Who in THE DAYS OF HIS FLESH, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; 8 THOUGH HE WERE A SON, YET LEARNED HE OBEDIENCE BY THE THINGS WHICH HE SUFFERED; 9 and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; 10 CALLED of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec” Hebrews 5:1-10.

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became OBEDIENT unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” Philippians 2:5-11.

I learnt very early in my Christian life that REBELLION to the CAUSE of God is as equivalent to the sinful consequences apportion to one entangled with WITCHCRAFT and even STUBBORNNESS. There’s no place with God for those who thrive in disobedient to the cause of God. And all who knows the truth and manipulates it for their unrighteous causes to distort, adulterate and pervert the cause of advancing the TRUTH of the Kingdom of God from sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation and to also keep the enemy and cohorts at bay.

“And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in OBEYING the voice of the Lord? Behold, to OBEY is better than sacrifice SACRIFICE, and to HEARKEN than the fat of rams. 23 For REBELLION is as the sin of WITCHCRAFT, and STUBBORNNESS is as INIQUITY and IDOLATRY. Because thou hast REJECTED THE WORD of the Lord, he hath also REJECTED thee from being king. 24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord, and thy words: because I FEARED the people, and OBEYED their voice” 1 Samuel 15:22-24.

“For the WRATH of God is REVEALED from heaven AGAINST all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who HOLD THE TRUTH IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS . . . 32 who KNOWING the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have PLEASURE in them that do them” Romans 1:18, 32.

This was learnt also, when a simple OBEDIENCE expected of King Saul caused him his throne and kingship to RULE and to REIGN in the given opportunity in the grace. And some Believer’s have knowingly or unknowingly forgotten that they are MADE of God in REDEMPTION to become royal priesthood – meaning, that kingship to reign and rule in civility in the grace and priesthood was bestowed upon us in REDEMPTION in godliness in the grace. While some claim to acknowledge it, yet in OBEDIENCE to the scriptural demands to enable them TRIUMPH and be VICTORIOUS in life and godliness, are always find wanting, by their impatience as found in King Saul to act without minding that the consequences therein are sometimes fatal and irreversible.

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the FAITHFUL witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that LOVED us, and WASHED us from our sins in his own blood, 6 and hath MADE us KINGS and PRIESTS unto God and his Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” Revelation 1:5-6.

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 and hast made us unto our God KINGS and PRIESTS: and we shall reign on the earth” Revelation 5:9-10.

“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an HOLY PRIESTHOOD, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ . . .9 But ye are a chosen generation, a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10 which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy” 1 Peter 2:5, 9-10.

We are engaged daily in a spiritual warfare – knowingly or unknowingly, and the ENEMY and COHORTS of our FAITH in God, in Christ Jesus, is working tirelessly and timelessly to and fro, seeking who he may devour directly or indirectly in the CAUSE of our doing life and living godly. [1 Timothy 1:18; 1 Timothy 6:12; Ephesians 6:10-20; 1 Peter 5:8-11]. He knows he has a short time to parade around and needs to recruit many to be a part of his fallen state destination. And one great old tricks attribute he has and have always use and succeed, is to make people disobey the CAUSE of God in their life’s. He tried it with Adam through Eve in Eden and it works. Over the years he has fought heard to ensure many fall shorts of obeying God’s heavenly mandate upon their life’s. DON’T BE A PREY AND VICTIM FOR HIM AGAIN.

“FOR THOUGH WE WALK IN THE FLESH, WE DO NOT WAR AFTER THE FLESH: 4 (for the WEAPONS of our WARFARE are not carnal [fleshy, man-made], but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the KNOWLEDGE of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the OBEDIENCE of Christ; 6 and having in a readiness to REVENGE all DISOBEDIENCE, when your OBEDIENCE IS FULFILLED” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6/Emphasis Mine.

When one turns into using physical process in a set spiritual warfare, you give the ENEMY and COHORTS of your FAITH journey with God, the permission to obstruct your path of OBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE. Fighting spiritual warfare in the flesh – in the sense instincts of – seeing, hearing, smelling, touching/feeling and tasting, will always allude one from the VICTORY and TRIUMPH earnestly designed of God for His people in everyway and places. [2 Corinthians 10:3-6; 2 Corinthians 2:14; 1 Corinthians 15:57; 1 John 5:3-5; Isaiah 54:13-17].

It is in OBEDIENCE that we find PLEASURE and fulfilment in life. It is there we can partake in the Kingdom goodness that we ARE made to INHERIT of God. One key principle of OBEDIENCE is the attitudes of having PATIENCE OF HOPE – [1 Thessalonians 1:3; Hebrews 6:12]. When our FAITH is in obedience motion, to God’s heavenly mandate, we need to set PATIENCE with HOPE in the CAUSE of doing life and living godly; otherwise, we will end up like King Saul, for his impatience to wait for Prophet Samuel arrival to carry on the expected according to God’s detailed instructions. When we are in HASTE to become in life, against God’s time scale as King Saul was, we are bound to undermine our DIVINELY giving instructions to go and satisfy then the FLESHLY-RULED and BODILY-RULED demand, which works against God’s given instructions. And that’s the danger of many today. Attributing GAIN as GODLINESS. What a wrong concept to MEASURE and LEGISLATE SPIRITUALITY in heavenly mandate of God by GAINS instead of being faithful to fulfil PURPOSE, in OBEYING the God GIVEN cause for our life. [Job 36:11; Isaiah 1:19; Hebrews 6:10-12; Proverbs 28:19-22; 1 Timothy 6:3-6].

Therefore, know today that you will and can be able to revenge – take charge on any ENEMY and COHORTS territories, WHEN ONLY YOUR OBEDIENCE IS ACTIVATED TO FULFIL PURPOSE in God’s enabling grace in the faith. For then you can take the VICTORY and TRIUMPH stand, by OBEYING THE HEAVENLY MANDATE cause before you, in life and godly living in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

Blessed regards in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS, as obey you Him worthily and serve Him acceptably in the grace, in Christ Jesus. Amen.

YOU ARE – GOD’S BATTLE AXE: THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST – AND TRIUMPHANT IN EVERYWHERE AND IN EVERYWAY!

“Crowns and thrones may perish

Kingdoms rise and wane

But the Church of Jesus constant will remain:

Gates of hell can never

‘Gainst that Church prevails;

We have Christ’s own promise –

And that cannot fail” – S. Baring-Gould.

“But THANKS be to God, who ALWAYS LEADS us in TRIUMPH in Christ, and through us SPREADS and MAKES evident everywhere the sweet FRAGRANCE of the KNOWLEDGE of Him” 2 Corinthians 2:14.

Yea, Kingdoms, Nations, Empires, Politicians, Political and Military dictators, Kings and Rulers that have covenanted with satanic evil and wicked cohorts have risen and fallen – lost their greatness and collapsed, reigned and died. Yet the Church of Jesus Christ – hallelujah – the greatest and only UNPARALLELED force known on earth, beneath the earth, and in the heavens, keeps marching on triumphantly in the face of absolute opposition and challenges. And in spite of all the attacks of the ENEMY and his COHORTS against God’s mandate – His plan, purpose and pursuit – the Church stands and advances.

“. . . 2 The Lord shall send the ROD of Your STRENGTH out of ZION (THE CHURCH). RULE in the MIDST of your ENEMIES! 3 Your people shall be VOLUNTEERS (WILLING) in the DAY of your POWER; In the BEAUTIES of HOLINESS, from the womb of the morning, you have the DEW (UNCTION) of your youth” Psalms 110:1-3 NKJV.

All simply because this Kingdom purpose and cause is of God, and it is an EVERLASTING KINGDOM that endures and will endure through ALL GENERATIONS – irrespective of the challenges, opposition and difficulties in the pathway.

“Thy KINGDOM IS AN EVERLASTING KINGDOM, and thy DOMINION endureth throughout ALL GENERATIONS” Psalms 145:13.

“For THE KINGDOM is the Lord’s: and he is the GOVERNOR among THE NATIONS” Psalms 22:28.

Therefore, as God’s Battle Axe and Weapons of War, the Church of God in Christ Jesus, it is time to ARISE and BUILD with selfless hearts of FAITH, HOPE and LOVE again – in order to set things right in the human DECADENCE and PERVERSIONS that we see EVERY DAY in our denominationised Churches, Homes, Streets, Roads, Governments, Communities, and in every place of living and doing life.

For we as the Church have been given so much tremendous authority and power to bring about the atmophere we earnestly desired to colour our worlds with God’s goodness until Christ Jesus returns for the fulness of our God and well being as Apostle Paul stated in the Holy writ of Ephesians 1:17-23.

WE ARE God’s BATTLE AXE and WEAPONS OF WAR, the Church of JESUS CHRIST with the mandate to be triumphant in EVERYWHERE and EVERYWAY.

BEING TRIUMPHANT OVER THE FIVE SENSES: THE EFFECT OF THE FLESH – THE LUST OF THE FLESH, THE LUST OF THE EYES AND THE PRIDE OF LIFE!

“But thanks be to God, who ALWAYS leads us in TRIUMPH in Christ, and through us SPREADS and MAKES evident EVERYWHERE the SWEET FRAGRANCE of the knowledge of Him” 2 Corinthians 2 14/Amplified.

“When He had DISARMED the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He MADE a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His TRIUMPHAL procession], having TRIUMPHED over them through the cross” Colossians 2:15/Amplified.

I want you to know for certain, and be assured to ensure, that YOU ARE A TRIUMPHANT CHURCH. I mean you ARE the Church in TRIUMPH, and not the architectural building where the ingathering to worship our God worthily and to serve Him acceptably is centred. And knowingly or unknowingly, TRIUMPH is a default DONE DEED for every believing child of God in Christ Jesus through REDEMPTION [2 Corinthians 2:14; Colossians 2:15]. And the Scripture wants every Believer in Christ Jesus to LIVE and WALK in the CONSCIOUSNESS of the SPIRIT of TRIUMPH, so that they can mortify [crucify] – put to death – the LUSTS and AFFECTIONS of the FLESH which are of the – FIVE SENSES [Galatians 5:16, 24-25].

“This I say then, WALK in the Spirit, and ye shall not FULFIL the LUST of the FLESH . . . 24 And they that ARE Christ’s have CRUCIFIED the FLESH with the AFFECTIONS and LUSTS. 25 If we LIVE in the Spirit, let us also WALK in the Spirit” Galatians 5:16, 24-25.

It thus means TRIUMPH is by living in the sphere where the Holy Spirit LEADS – the Holy Spirit Inspired life, and by the WORD of God, through your human spirit-being by the auction of grace that’s within you [Proverbs 20:27; Job 32:8; Job 33:4; Genesis 2:7; 1 John 2:20, 27]. This is what makes you a spirit or spiritual being that is SPIRIT-RULED and not BODILY-RULED or FLESHLY-RULED. A sphere to make you live TRIUMPHANTLY, far above just being a human being by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus that’s within you – [Romans 8:1-17]. For you are created as a BEING, not to BEEN. Indicating there’s no place of vacuum to God or with God in the Kingdom to exercise your place as a BEING of God.

And FAITH in God is the mystery of COMMUNICATION with God as a BEING, in order to enhance one to exercise the sphere of a BEING [1 Timothy 3:9; Romans 12:4], and FAITH is the resultant and consequence of the HEARING, the HEARING of the WORD of God [Romans 10:17].

So, there’s the need to FELLOWSHIP, in order to enhance the RELATIONSHIP with God [1 Corinthians 1:9], because there’s no sphere or place for a VACUUM. Thus, it indicates that one can’t commune with God outside His WORD for any reason, otherwise there will be satanic interference [Matthew 12:43-45]. And to commune with God is about LIVING and WALKING in the Spirit – which is by your spirit and in the truth – the WORD of God [John 4:19-24].

The consequential of living outside the sphere of the Spirit-led is LIVING and WALKING in the FLESH – that is, in the sphere of FIVE SENSES, which are these:

HEAR/Hearing

SEE/Seeing

TASTE/Tasting

SMELL/Smelling

FEEL/Feeling [Touch/Touching]

Sadly enough – there is EFFECT, and there are EFFECTS – of living in the SPHERE of the FLESH – FIVE SENSE. These FIVE SENSES EFFECTS that resulted in the fall of the first creation man [Adam] and was defeated by the second Adam [Christ Jesus] to give us assurance of hope and triumph when we are living and walking by the WORD in the Spirit are these [Genesis 3:1-6; Luke 4:1-13; 1 John 2:15-17]:

The LUST of the EYES

The LUST of the FLESH

The PRIDE of LIFE

These EFFECTS were seen at the beginning with Adam and Adam in EDEN, where they fell from FAITH and FELLOWSHIP with God [Genesis 3]. These EFFECTS showed up again with Jesus during His Holy Spirit-led fasting at the TEMPTATION mountain [Luke 4:1-13; Matthew 4:1-11]. Sadly today, these EFFECTS are still at work and hover about, looking for who will fall to its sword [1 John 2:15-17]. The matter therefore is this – will you let it take root in you as many have fallen victims over and over again? I hope not.

Unlike Eve and Adam, Jesus TRIUMPHED over these five senses and their EFFECTS by the simple affirmative statement of His firm FAITH in the WORD – “IT IS WRITTEN” – Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13 [1 John 5:4-5; Colossians 2:15; Philemon 1:6]. Thus it means: No WORD, No FAITH, and No enacting of the TRIUMPH in the grace [2 Corinthians 2:14; Colossians 2:15]. Otherwise, it will be Magic, Sorcerer, Traditional dogmas, Man-made make-believes, creeds and such like.

Therefore, as the TRIUMPHANT CHURCH in Christ Jesus stead, let us ARISE and be TRIUMPHANT for we ARE. And by LIVING and WALKING in the Spirit, we will not fulfil the DEEDS and desired EFFECTS of the Flesh [fleshy-ruled, bodily-ruled].

BE BLESSED IN the grace as you live and walk in triumph in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

FELLOWSHIP strengthens relationship with God [1 Cor 1:9]. Communion with God is only by spirit and truth — the Word [John 4:23-24].

The Enemy: Five Senses & Three Effects

Outside the Spirit-led sphere = LIVING/WALKING in the FLESH, governed by five senses: Hearing, Seeing, Tasting, Smelling, Feeling.

The flesh manifests through 3 effects: The LUST of the FLESH, The LUST of the EYES, The PRIDE of LIFE [1 John 2:15-17].

These effects caused Adam’s fall in EDEN [Gen 3:1-6] and tempted Christ at the TEMPTATION MOUNTAIN [Matt 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13]. They remain active today seeking who will fall.

Pattern for Victory: Christ’s Method

Unlike Adam/Eve, Jesus TRIUMPHED over the five senses by FAITH in the WORD — “IT IS WRITTEN” [Matt 4:4,7,10].

Principle: No WORD = No FAITH = No enacting of TRIUMPH in grace [2 Cor 2:14; Col 2:15]. Without the Word, one resorts to magic, sorcery, dogmas, and man-made creeds.

Charge & Application

Command: ARISE and be TRIUMPHANT for we ARE. By LIVING and WALKING in the Spirit, we will not fulfill the deeds and desired effects of the flesh.

Result: A life lived triumphantly, far above human limitations, by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus [Rom 8:2].

SINGING THE SONGS OF TRIUMPH: IT’S YOUR SONGS OF REDEMPTION!

“And they SUNG A NEW SONG, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 and hast MADE us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth” Revelation 5:9-10

May You Sing A New Song – In June. The Redeemed sang a new SONG – the New CREATION song. The SONG of TRIUMPH. No more SONGS of failure, sickness, disease, setbacks, frustrations, curses, defeat, oppression, unbelief and such likes. They rather SANG the SONGS of royalty and priesthood that they BECAME in Christ Jesus, affordable to all – every tribe, tongue, kindred and nations – colour and race.

The Church is YOU, the TRIUMPHANT CHURCH, the NEW CREATION, God’s REDEEMED. By Christ Jesus’ Redemption, you live TRIUMPHANTLY – in every way and every place. No more LIMITS. You are DELIVERED and RESCUED from the POWER of DARKNESS and has been TRANSFERRED and TRANSLATED not REFURBISHED, into God’s OWN. YOU ARE GOD’S OWN. SING A NEW SONG.

Moses and Miriam led the song of the glorious TRIUMPH out of Egypt’s bondage. They sang their Redemption songs with graciousness and gracefulness. They danced and celebrated their redemption. Why not YOU (today), born of God, filled with the Holy Spirit – which they (like Moses/Miriam) wished for earnestly – Hebrews 11:32-40. I guess they’d have danced daily and more.

What sorts of SONGS are you into as a REDEEMED child of God. Is it the FEARFUL-HALLELUJAH songs, the COMPLAIN-HALLELUJAH songs, the TRANSFER-AGGRESSION songs, the UNFORGIVING and UNFORGETTABLE Songs, the REGRETTABLE songs, the SELF-AFFLICTED Songs, the FEAR-PHOBIAS songs, the songs filled up with CURSES, the BLAME-OTHERS songs, the VICTIM songs, the DEPRESSING songs, the NEVER-DO-WELL songs, the SELF-DEFEAT songs, the SELF-PITY songs, the RACE-CARD songs and other such likes songs.

God wants YOU, the REDEEMED you, to know that it’s time to sing the REDEMPTION Songs of TRIUMPH in all your declarations, proclamations, announcements, confessions, professions and such likes. Songs from your lips now need to be that of the glorious TRIUMPH from the GRIPS and POWER of darkness into the realm of our dear Saviour and Lord, Christ Jesus. It’s time to ENACT and AUTHENTICATE your REDEMPTION DEED in Life and Godly Living.

TRIUMPHING OVER THE EFFECT OF LIVING IN THE FLESH [THE FIVE SENSES]: THE LUST OF THE FLESH – THE LUST OF THE EYES – AND THE PRIDE OF LIFE!

“From whence come WARS and FIGHTINGS among you? come they not hence, even of your LUSTS that WAR in your MEMBERS? 2 Ye LUST, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may CONSUME it upon your LUSTS” James 4:1-3.

Knowingly or unknowingly, TRIUMPH and TRIUMPHING is a default DONE DEED for every believing child of God in Christ Jesus’ stead. However, its operation in the Believer’s life depends on the individual to make it happen within the pure context of the given redemption rights and privileges, and not elsewhere.

And Scripture wants every Believer in Christ Jesus to LIVE and WALK in the SPIRIT of TRIUMPH, so that they can mortify [crucify] – that’s to put to death – the lusts and affections of the FLESH – the FIVE SENSES [SEE, HEAR, TASTE, SMELL, TOUCH/FEEL]. Otherwise, there will be wars and infighting within oneself due to wanting desires born through cravings of a lustful spirit not ruled, governed, controlled, and led by the TRIUMPH Spirit of dominion.

The scriptural context indicates we need to live within the sphere of the Holy Spirit’s leads and guides, and by the context of God’s WORD, through our human spirit [Proverbs 20:27; Job 32:8; Job 33:4; Genesis 2:7]. This makes one a spirit or spiritual being – a sphere to live TRIUMPHANTLY, far above just being human, but as a supernatural being. The human spirit empowered by the indwelling Holy Spirit indicates the Super Spirit of God meets the natural [human] spirit – making the SUPERNATURAL.

You are created as a BEING. There’s no vacuum to reach out to God, be in God, or be with God in the Kingdom cause to exercise your place as a BEING of God. God operates through His WORD, and not in a vacuum. You can’t do astral travel or astral projection with God as some may – doing so, you only contact demons, not the God of REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus. FAITH in God is the mystery of COMMUNICATION to God through His WORD as a BEING – that’s the only possible channel to exercise the sphere of a BEING. FAITH is the results from HEARING the WORD of God. Through FAITH communication, we ensure the assured redemption deed of Christ Jesus in us.

“So then FAITH cometh by HEARING, and HEARING BY THE WORD of God” Romans 10:17.

“Holding the MYSTERY of the FAITH in a PURE conscience” 1 Timothy 3:9.

“That the COMMUNICATION OF THY FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the ACKNOWLEDGING of every GOOD THING which is IN you IN Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6.

So, there’s a need to FELLOWSHIP with God to enhance the RELATIONSHIP with God, because in God, there’s no place for a VACUUM. This indicates that you can’t commune with God outside His WORD; otherwise, satanic interference occurs – demons occupy vacuum hearts not filled with God’s word [Matthew 12:43-45]. Communing with God is about LIVING and WALKING in the Spirit – which is your human spirit – and in the truth – [the Word of God]

“When the UNCLEAN SPIRIT is gone out of a man, he WALKETH through DRY PLACES, SEEKING REST, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it EMPTY, SWEPT, and GARNISHED. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more WICKED than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the LAST state of that man is WORSE than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation” Matthew 12:43-45.

“The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the placOUmen ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” John 4:19-24.

The consequential problems of living outside the sphere of the Spirit’s leads and guides, is living and walking in the FLESH – in the sphere of FIVE SENSES which are these:

HEAR/HEARING

SEE/SEEING

TASTE/TASTING

SMELL/SMELLING

FEEL/TOUCH [FEELING/TOUCHING]

Sadly, there are EFFECTS of living in the sphere of the FLESH – FIVE SENSE. These EFFECTS are as written and experienced in the Scriptures which are of these [Genesis 3:1-6; Luke 4:1-13; 1 John 2:15-17]:

The LUST of the EYES

The LUST of the FLESH

The PRIDE of LIFE

These EFFECTS showed up with Mrs. Eve and Mr. Adam at EDEN, where they fell out in Faith [God’s WORD] with God. [Genesis 3:1-7].

These EFFECTS showed up again before Jesus during His Holy Spirit -led fasting and praying at the TEMPTATION mountain. Satan was DEFEATED with his flesh [fleshy] Introductory scheme by the WORD of God that Christ Jesus utilised by Holy Spirit’s lead. [Luke 4:1-13].

Sadly, these EFFECTS are still at work, with satan and cohorts looking for who will fall to its sword [1 Peter 5:8-9]. Will you let it take root in you like many have? I hope not.

“Be SOBER, be VIGILANT; because your ADVERSARY the DEVIL, as a ROARING lion, WALKETH about, SEEKING whom he may DEVOUR: 9 whom RESIST STEDFAST IN THE FAITH, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you” 1 Peter 5:8-10.

Unlike Eve and Adam, Jesus TRIUMPHED over these five senses EFFECTS by the simple statement – “IT IS WRITTEN”. Meaning, The WORD TRIUMPHs, and NO WORD means NO TRIUMPH but DEFEAT, FAILURES, and REGRETS; and anything outside the WORD is Magic, Sorcery, Traditional belief, dogmas, falsehoods, adulteration, Man-made make-belief’s, denominational indoctrination, by-law and creeds, and such like.

Therefore, lets TRIUMPH, by LIVING and WALKING in the Spirit through the WORD of God, that we might not fulfill the DESIRES, DEEDS, and EFFECTS of the FLESH through lust.

“Now thanks be unto God, WHICH ALWAYS CAUSETH US TO TRIUMPH IN CHRIST, and maketh manifest the SAVOUR of his knowledge by us in EVERY PLACE” 2 Corinthians 2:24.

“. . . 6 And when the woman SAW that the tree was GOOD for FOOD, and that it was PLEASANT to the EYES, and a tree to be DESIRED to make one WISE, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat . . .” Genesis 3:1-7.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises living a triumphant life in Christ Jesus by walking in the Spirit and not fulfilling the desires of the flesh. It highlights the importance of fellowship with God through His Word, and how Satan seeks to exploit vacuum hearts not filled with God’s Word. The five senses (SEE, HEAR, TASTE, SMELL, TOUCH/FEEL) can lead to lust, wars, and infighting within oneself if not governed by the Spirit.

Jesus triumphed over temptation using “IT IS WRITTEN” (Luke 4:1-13)

Believers are created as BEINGS, not to be in a vacuum, but to operate in God’s Word

FAITH comes from hearing God’s Word (Romans 10:17)

MONTH FEBRUARY – TRIUMPHING BY LOVE: THE LOVE THAT GIVES AND SERVES!

“For God so LOVED the world, that he GAVE his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” John 3:16-18.

Our God is LOVE. He’s LOVE in definition, which indicates, you can’t talk of LOVE outside the person who is LOVE personified and had lavishly showed His love to us by the Holy Spirit that He had given to us by virtue of our redemption in Christ Jesus. Amen. [1 John 4:8,16; Romans 5:5, 8; John 14:16-17; John 3:16].

When I heard decades ago, the Gospel of Christ that brought about my salvation in God, in Christ Jesus, in redemption, the first thing that crossed my mind then and now, by the Gospel I heard was this – that God LOVES me. That sticks and have never gone off me for any reason or matters irrespective of the ups and downs in the onward and upward trajectory of the Christian walk of faith in Christ Jesus.

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; BUT FAITH WHICH WORKETH BY LOVE . . . 13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, BUT BY LOVE SERVE ONE ANOTHER” Galatians 5:6, 13.

And more so, to know that God in His terms to ensure and authenticate the love, He GAVE up Christ Jesus for my salvation in redemption, that I might be able to be JUSTIFIED and QUALIFIED, to receive the needed FREEDOM – LIBERTY, from the grips and bandages of SIN and its effects which are: POVERTY, SICKNESS and SPIRITUAL DEATH; the freedom – liberty, from which I was denied because of the subjugates rule of the devil and cohorts, that makes me then, to be without God in this world. [Ephesians 2:1-22].

Reflecting now and then that the simple Gospel I heard to get saved by God in Christ Jesus, thus indicates that God LOVES me and GAVE up Jesus Christ for my salvation in redemption; and this knowing and understanding, have left a lasting effects on my life for over 50yrs plus by God’s enabling grace. Then and now and always, I know that genuinely pure love of God means a GIVING love, and not a love that goes demanding for the love in order to do life and live godly in Christ Jesus stead. And it thus means that one can’t live the genuinely pure love life in grace and godliness, beyond the knowledge and understanding you know and have received of God in Christ Jesus on His personified nature of LOVE as He is LOVE.

“And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles EXERCISE LORDSHIP OVER THEM, and those who EXERCISE AUTHORITY OVER THEM are called ‘BENEFACTORS.’ 26 But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is GREATEST among you, let him be as the YOUNGER, and he who GOVERNS as he who SERVES. 27 For who is GREATER, he who sits at the TABLE, or he who SERVES? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am AMONG YOU as the One who SERVES” Luke 22:25-27/NKJV [Matthew 20:25-28; Mark 10:35-45].

And when I began to embark on the journey to grow in grace and in the knowledge of God through Christ Jesus (2 Peter 3:18), and for me to personally personify the knowing of Him as my Saviour and Lord – Jesus Christ, and to make Him known by same mutual knowledge and understanding, I then discovered that His entire coming to take the humanity nature [Hebrews 2:14-15; 1 Timothy 3:16; John 1:14], to work out my salvation in my redemption and yours and for all mankind, was simply through this – to SERVE – through the passionate acts of LOVE which He lives and demonstrated for us all to follow after Him. [John 13:1-17, 34-35; Luke 22:25-27 (Matthew 20:25-28; Mark 10:35-45); John 15:9-16]. And to do this act of our redemption, the scripture says; He LOVED us. Meaning, He didn’t serve outside love to REDEEM us, He LOVED us as written:

“John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the FAITHFUL witness, and THE FIRST BEGOTTEN of the dead, and THE PRINCE OF THE KINGS of the earth. Unto him that LOVED us, and WASHED us from our sins in his own blood, 6 and hath MADE us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” Revelation 1:4-6.

And for our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ to ensure and authenticate that the GOSPEL being PREACHED remains same as He live in it and through it, He charged that the Believer’s in Him, should continue first and foremostly, to walk in His love with same Gospel love that loves through GIVING and SERVING others in His name – for by such many will turn toward the Father God in His name. [Ephesians 5:1-2; John 13:34-35; John 15:8-16; John 8:30-32].

Apostle Paul, with the gracious insights and foresights into the revelation of the Gospel of God in Christ Jesus, do charged the Ephesians Church in the Holy writ of [Acts 20:35], of the need to know that – it’s more of BLESSEDNESS to GIVE (be a GIVER) than to RECEIVE (be a RECEIVER); and Apostle Paul also wrote to the Galatians Church in the Holy writ in the context of – [Galatians 5:1, 6, 13], of the necessity to see that they don’t take their freedom – liberty in God in Christ Jesus for granted, but to ensure it and be assured that their faith in God in Christ Jesus is lubricated through LOVE and not by legalities of the religious dogmas and tradition and denominational indoctrination as per circumcision or no circumcision – and more importantly, to SERVE one another BY LOVE as in the Gospel that they have received of him in Christ Jesus stead.

In redemption, we’ve obtained a glorious triumph on the cross by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. For our Redemption is a done did as expressed in the Holy writs of [2 Corinthians 2:14 and Colossians 2:8-15]; this thus indicates an act of TRIUMPHING BY LOVE as expressed in GIVING His life for our justification, and in SERVING to ensure and assure that we can live TRIUMPHANTLY as we do live in humanity and live godly for the cause of advancing God’s kingdom and in keeping the enemy and cohorts at bay.

I therefore challenge you and I today to be genuine follower of God in Christ Jesus, and WALK IN LOVE as He did for our example, through the act of GIVING and SERVING, and not of demanding and receiving or as an entitlement, if we must meaningfully fulfil purpose as enjoined in the Holy writ. [Ephesians 5:1-2; Romans 8:28-30; Ephesians 1:11-12].

I do pray that you might be awaken in this writ for a gracious and graceful you in Christ Jesus stead. Hence, I sincerely welcome you to Month February, the month of TRIUMPHING BY LOVE that GIVES and SERVES without prejudice, sentiments and dissimulation. [Romans 12:9-21; Proverbs 25:21-22; Matthew 5:38-48; Proverbs 16:7/Hebrews 11:6].

“When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His TRIUMPHAL PROCESSION], having TRIUMPHED over them through the cross” Colossians 2:15.

“But THANKS be to God, who always LEADS us in TRIUMPH in Christ, and through us SPREADS and makes evident everywhere the SWEET FRAGRANCE of the KNOWLEDGE of Him” 2 Corinthians 2:14/Amplified.

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being ROOTED and GROUNDED IN LOVE, 18 may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the BREADTH, and LENGTH, and DEPTH, and HEIGHT; 19 and TO KNOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST, WHICH PASSETH KNOWLEDGE, that ye might be FILLED with all the FULNESS of God” Ephesians 3:17-19.

“I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE” Acts 20:35.
