THE DANGER OF SCRIPTURAL IGNORANCE: IT LEADS ONE TO ERRORS, TO BECOME MISTAKEN AND TO BE ELUDED FROM THE POWER OF GOD! 

“The man that WANDERETH out of THE WAY of UNDERSTANDING shall remain in the CONGREGATION [GATHERING] of the DEAD [UNPRODUCTIVE, TASKMASTER, OBSCURED, SLOTHFUL, SLUGGARD]” Proverbs 21:16. 

“GOOD UNDERSTANDING giveth FAVOUR: but THE WAY of TRANSGRESSORS [DISOBEDIENT, ARROGANT] is HARD [DIFFICULT, FRUSTRATING, CHALLENGING]” Proverbs 13:15. 

Our Father God does not condone ignorance, which is the breeding ground of stupidity, foolishness and arrogance – especially in the midst of every opportunity to acquire and gain the knowledge needed to answer your earnest quest in life and godliness. Wisdom to do life and to become in the grace comes through knowledge and understanding. Playing the game of ignorance takes no one anywhere with God. God “WINKED” at ignorance and at ignorant people in times past, especially when there were no opportunities. But now, with every opportunity and possibility and signs pointing to wisdom – He expects you to ask, to know, and to enquire for the understanding that will enable you to excel in life and in grace. 

“And the times of this IGNORANCE God WINKED at [OVERLOOKED]; but now COMMANDETH all men every where to REPENT [CHANGE]: 31 because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in RIGHTEOUSNESS by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given ASSURANCE unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead” Acts 17:30-31. 

Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord, did not increase in wisdom, stature and in favour with Father God and man by a mere wish. But in the early time of His humanity, He took time to sit, to know and to understand – by being in places to ask questions and get answers, in order to be in understanding, so that He could fulfil purpose meaningfully in Father God’s BUSINESS [ASSIGNMENT] concerning Him. And why can’t you too seek after knowing and understanding in the matters that concern life and godliness, in order to ensure a solid content in the grace? So, get out of the erroneous and mistaken path of ignorance, and get into the path of knowledge and understanding in context, in order to be fulfilled purposefully and meaningfully in the grace wherein you are called and, in the content thereof. 

“And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, SITTING in the midst of the DOCTORS [TEACHERS], both HEARING them, and ASKING them questions. 47 And all that heard him were astonished at his UNDERSTANDING and answers. . .. 49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my FATHER’S BUSINESS? 50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them . . . 52 And Jesus INCREASED in WISDOM and STATURE, and in FAVOUR with God and man” Luke 2: 46-52. 

“And we know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER for GOOD to them that LOVE God, to them who are the CALLED according to his PURPOSE” Romans 8:28/[Ephesians 1:11-12; 1 Corinthians 2:9-10]. 

Avoid ignorance by every means. It is dangerous, and the side effects and consequences are unimaginable. Ensure that in every subject you endeavour to know and to understand but the context and, where possible, the contents. This is in order to avoid an erroneous position, being mistaken and misconstrued, and being cut off from the power of God – meaning, the enabling of God’s grace for that context to be made known and manifest for your good and BLESSEDNESS. 

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do ERR [ERRONEOUSLY, MISTAKENLY], NOT KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES, NOR THE POWER OF GOD” Matthew 22:29. 

“And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore ERR [ERRONEOUSLY, MISTAKENLY], because ye KNOW NOT THE SCRIPTURES, neither THE POWER OF GOD?” Mark 12:24. 

Ignorance hurts and hunts. It makes one stupid and foolish. It frustrates one’s efforts. It keeps one away from the good of God – for God once winked at ignorance. Ignorance subjugates. It enslaves. It captivates. It is destructive. The side effects are innumerable and unimaginable, and never to be wished upon anyone. Therefore, do not even imagine it, nor allow it to play around you and within your domain at any given moment. PURSUE and ENSURE knowledge and understanding always, in order to stay safe.  

“A WISE man is STRONG; yea, a man of KNOWLEDGE INCREASETH STRENGTH” Proverbs 24:5. 

“WISDOM is the PRINCIPAL thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy GETTING GET UNDERSTANDING” Proverbs 4:7. 

For God is a FAITHFUL and rewarding Father, who cherishes achieving and accomplishing anything through process – which is the consequence of knowledge and understanding. For wisdom to succeed in excellence is the application of knowledge, unlike ignorance whose effect is to make the slothful [a sluggard] and unproductive. For whatever has no process of accomplishments is a fraud and a scam in both context and content. God wants you to be a follower of Him and of those who do life and godliness through knowledge and understanding of the scriptural context, in order to ensure an assured content. 

“God is FAITHFUL, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:9. 

“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING” Jeremiah 3:15. 

“For God is not UNRIGHTEOUS [UNGRATEFUL, UNFAITHFUL] to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same DILIGENCE to the FULL ASSURANCE of hope unto the end: 12 that ye be NOT SLOTHFUL, but FOLLOWERS of them who through faith and patience INHERIT [ACCOMPLISH, ACHIEVE] the promises” Hebrews 6:10-12. 

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a REWARDER of them that DILIGENTLY seek him” Hebrews 11:6. 

IT PAYS TO PATIENTLY STRIVE FOR KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING RATHER THAN TO REMAIN IN IGNORANCE – WITH ALL THE CHARACTERISTICS OF STUPIDITY AND FOOLISHNESS, SLOTHFULNESS AND SLUGGISHNESS THAT IT BRINGS – UNPRODUCTIVE IN BOTH CONTEXT AND CONTENT. 

IGNORANCE is not just bad; it is a DIS-EASE [UN-EASE] -a place and position worse than any cancerous disease. For by IGNORANCE, many talents, visions and dreams that would have enhanced life and godly living, and uplifted and placed people and persons on an ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory, have ended up in the GRAVEYARDS – unfulfilled, unsung, unproductive, unwritten, unaccomplished and such like. 

Therefore, SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK [REFLECT]! 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do ERR [ERRONEOUSLY, MISTAKENLY], NOT KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES, NOR THE POWER OF GOD” Matthew 22:29. 

“And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore ERR [ERRONEOUSLY, MISTAKENLY], because ye KNOW NOT THE SCRIPTURES, neither THE POWER OF GOD?” Mark 12:24.

“And now, BRETHREN, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD of his grace, which is ABLE to BUILD you up, and to give you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED [UNIQUELY SET APART]” Acts 20:32. 

“MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE: because thou hast REJECTED KNOWLEDGE, I will also REJECT thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast FORGOTTEN the law of thy God, I will also FORGET thy children” Hosea 4:6. 

“Therefore MY PEOPLE ARE GONE INTO CAPTIVITY, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE: and their HONOURABLE men are FAMISHED, and their MULTITUDE dried up with thirst. 14 Therefore HELL hath ENLARGED herself, and OPENED her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. 15 And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled: 16 but the Lord of hosts shall be EXALTED in judgment, and God that is holy shall be SANCTIFIED in righteousness” Isaiah 5:13-16. 

SUMMARY 

The message is a prophetic charge entitled: THE DANGER OF SCRIPTURAL IGNORANCE. 
It warns that ignorance is not neutral — it is destructive, and it cuts people off from the power of God, purpose, and destiny. The only way out is deliberate pursuit of KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING through God’s Word and godly process.

  1. GOD’S POSITION ON IGNORANCE
  • Acts 17:30-31: God “WINKED” at ignorance in times past when light was limited. But now He COMMANDETH all men everywhere to REPENT and to CHANGE. 
  • Our Father God does not condone ignorance. It is the breeding ground of stupidity, foolishness and arrogance — especially now with every opportunity to acquire knowledge. 
  • God is FAITHFUL and a REWARDER of those who diligently seek Him — Hebrews 11:6. He cherishes process, which is the product of knowledge and understanding. 
  1. THE PATTERN OF CHRIST: LEARNING THROUGH PROCESS
  • Jesus did not increase by a wish. Luke 2:46-52: In His early humanity He SAT, HEARD, ASKED QUESTIONS in the temple. 
  • Result: “Jesus INCREASED in WISDOM and STATURE, and in FAVOUR with God and man.” 
  • He was about His FATHER’S BUSINESS. Understanding positioned Him for purpose. 
  • Application: If Christ took time to sit and learn, we must too. 
  1. KNOWLEDGE + UNDERSTANDING = WISDOM + FAVOUR + STRENGTH
  • Proverbs 4:7: “WISDOM is the PRINCIPAL thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy GETTING GET UNDERSTANDING.” 
  • Proverbs 24:5: “A WISE man is STRONG; yea, a man of KNOWLEDGE INCREASETH STRENGTH.” 
  • Proverbs 13:15: “GOOD UNDERSTANDING giveth FAVOUR: but THE WAY of TRANSGRESSORS is HARD.” 
  • Knowledge applied = wisdom. Wisdom applied = excellence. 
  • Whatever has no process of accomplishment is fraud and scam in both context and content.

  • Acts 20:32: “THE WORD of his grace… is ABLE to BUILD you up, and to give you an INHERITANCE.”

  • Hebrews 6:10-12: Be NOT SLOTHFUL, but FOLLOWERS of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 

CALL TO ACTION 

  1. REPENT FROM IGNORANCE: Acts 17:30. Stop tolerating what God no longer overlooks. Choose to change. 
  2. PURSUE KNOWLEDGE DILIGENTLY: Proverbs 4:7. Sit like Jesus sat. Hear. Ask questions. Study the Scriptures. Enquire for understanding in every matter of life and godliness. 
  3. EMBRACE PROCESS: Do not take shortcuts. God rewards process. Process produces stability, excellence, and assurance. 
  4. GUARD YOUR DOMAIN: Do not allow ignorance to play around you. Avoid erroneous positions, being mistaken, and being cut off from the enabling of God’s grace. 
  5. SELAH — PAUSE AND REFLECT: Examine your life, calling, marriage, career, ministry. Are you growing in knowledge and understanding or are you stagnant? 
  6. STAY IN THE WORD: 1 John 5:3 — “His commandments are NOT GRIEVOUS.” The Word builds you and gives you inheritance among the sanctified. 

Final Truth: IT PAYS TO PATIENTLY STRIVE FOR KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING. Ignorance buries destiny. Knowledge births excellence, favour, and blessedness.

COMING TO TERMS WITH THE WRITTEN WORD – THE HOLY BIBLE: THE B-I-B-L-E “BLESSED INFORMATION BRINGING LIFE ETERNAL”! 

“We have also a more SURE WORD of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the SCRIPTURE is of any PRIVATE interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” 2 Peter 1:19-21. 

The written HOLY writ called the HOLY BIBLE, which I acclaimed in this sense as my “B-I-B-L-E” meaning, “BLESSED INFORMATION BRING LIFE ETERNAL”, is often misunderstood in its context. And as such, I have come, in my continuous journey as a student, to sum it up relatively in this wise – but not limited to: 

  • The ONLY WRITTEN BOOK that is both informative and transformative at the same time, and is relevant to all irrespective of context. 
  •  The ONLY WRITTEN BOOK that is spiritual, impactful and life giving at no charge. 
  •  The ONLY WRITTEN BOOK that you can READ with the TEACHING AUTHOR [THE HOLY SPIRIT] being always present by your side to help you READ, KNOW and UNDERSTAND it’s context, concept and content. 
  •  The ONLY WRITTEN BOOK by Holy Men as LED and MOVED by the Holy Spirit without adulteration, perversion, sentiments, prejudice, dissimulation and distortion in content, concept and context.  
  •  The other BOOKS you READ, but the Holy Bible is the ONLY WRITTEN BOOK that READS you, the reader, irrespective.  
  •  The Holy Writ – The Holy BIBLE – it is the ONLY WRITTEN BOOK that INSPIRES, REVEALS and EMPOWERS one in the RIGHTEOUSNESS of God in Christ Jesus’ stead, without distortion and adulteration in context and content.  
  • The Holy Writ – The Holy BIBLE – it is the only ensured and ensuring, assured and assuring WRITTEN WORD of prophecy, without contradiction and controversy, despite the difference in times of the writing, across the various dispensations and generations in which the information was recorded and written.  
  •  The Holy Writ, THE HOLY BIBLE – it is about your total well-being [spirit, soul and body] without charge unlike any other books. 

And with the concept above mentioned, though not limited, I strongly commend and recommend to you this WRITTEN BOOK for your today and tomorrow, in your DOING LIFE and GODLY LIVING, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

“And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD of His grace, which is ABLE to BUILD you up, and to GIVE you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED” Act 20:32. 

Therefore, take time to READ it for your good and goodness, in the grace in Christ Jesus’ stead, and then – SELAH: PAUSE AND THINK – on its living application to your DOING LIFE and GODLY CAUSE, in the grace, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“And that from a child thou hast known the HOLY SCRIPTURES, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works” 2 Timothy 3:15-17. 

“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy WORD. 105 Thy WORD is a LAMP unto my feet, and a LIGHT unto my path . . . 130 The ENTRANCE of thy WORDS giveth LIGHT; it giveth UNDERSTANDING unto the simple” Psalms 119: 9, 105, 130. 

“For THE WORD of God is LIVING and ACTIVE and FULL OF POWER [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. “And without CONTROVERSY great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” 1 Timothy 3:16. 

“And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen” John 21:25. 

“I had many things to write, but I will not with ink and pen write unto thee: 14 but I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face” 3 John 1:13. 

“Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full” 2 John 1:12

  1. The Power and Function of THE WORD

Scriptures are used to establish what THE WORD does: 

  • 2 Timothy 3:15-17: THE HOLY SCRIPTURES make you wise unto salvation, and ALL SCRIPTURE is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction in righteousness — that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished. 
  • Psalms 119:9, 105, 130: THE WORD is a LAMP and LIGHT. The entrance of THE WORD gives UNDERSTANDING. 
  • Hebrews 4:12-13: THE WORD of God is LIVING and ACTIVE and FULL OF POWER, sharper than a two-edged sword, exposing the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 
  • 1 Timothy 3:16: Without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness. 
  1. The Commendation and Application

The message strongly commends and recommends this WRITTEN BOOK for your today and tomorrow, in DOING LIFE and GODLY LIVING — Acts 20:32: 
“And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD of His grace, which is ABLE to BUILD you up, and to GIVE you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED”. 

The call to action is: 
READ it for your good and goodness → SELAH: PAUSE AND THINK → APPLY it in your DOING LIFE and GODLY CAUSE, in the grace, in Christ Jesus’ stead.

The message closes by acknowledging that not all of Jesus’ works could be contained in books — John 21:25, and that the written WORD, though limited to ink and paper, is sufficient because it is inspired by God — 2 John 1:12, 3 John 1:13. 

Core Burden of the Message: 
Stop treating THE BIBLE like any other book. It is LIVING, it BUILDS, it CORRECTS, it LIGHTS your path, and it is the ONLY BOOK given by God that can produce righteousness and eternal life. Therefore, READ it, PAUSE over it, and DO it.

LIVING AND BUILDING ON – “THE SURE FOUNDATION” – IN CHRIST JESUS’ STEAD! 

“By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the POWER, WISDOM and GOODNESS of God] we UNDERSTAND that the WORLD’S (universe, ages) were FRAMED and CREATED [FORMED, put in ORDER, and EQUIPPED for their intended PURPOSE] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible” Psalms 11:3/Amplified. 

The neglect of the foundation of anything will cause harmful effects in anything intended to be built upon that foundation. 

When the Father God laid the foundation of the earth and the built-up of the world in it for humans and all created things, He ensured that the foundation was without question. He ensured and assured Himself that the architectural and structural design could and would withstand the heavy load of the billions of human factors and activities that would be carried out on it, as written in Psalm 24:1-2; Isaiah 45:18; Revelation 4:11; Hebrews 11:3. 

And there is a great lesson to be learnt: to start from the known of God to the unknown, if we follow the principles of His Word as found in the Holy Writ. 

I have, as well as you might have, studied and am still studying, to know; and have grown and am still growing, to say that I have seen natural, human and spiritual devastations in different spheres of humanity. I have seen structural buildings of many sorts — both small and great — reduced to rubble. And the result of any devastating occurrence is always relatively costly in human, natural and spiritual terms. 

And I have, as well as you might have, seen, read, observed and watched the loss of individual and public properties of various segments, cutting across and not limited to: Agricultural lands, Businesses, Ministries/Church buildings, Government Offices, Non-governmental and parastatal establishments, Families and individual residences, and such like. 

In all situations and circumstances, it is always a deeply heart-felt, touching and heartbreaking experience for anyone to go through the metamorphosis of change in various segments — especially in helpless situations, awaiting the worst of both ends: the loss of lives, livelihoods and properties. 

And in some cases, the devastations are really very, very bad and beyond comprehension in terms of human loss, financial cost, spiritual cost and more, to those affected respectively. 

As I prepared to write this, and while recalling and flipping through various accessible multimedia channels not long ago, I could see devastations of human lives, livelihoods and properties, and such like, in various nations of the world. The effects of weather impact in those places, and in some especially, are a cause for tears, pain, hurt and the unimaginable. 

While some could be natural, others are as a result of human negligence over time by those who ought to have put in place a well-thought-out foundation that could have withstood the tests of time, but failed to see reason to get things done as would have been expected. 
Though some of these devastations are of natural causes, most of the time there are human creations and causes that have been undermined — especially in places that ought to have been subjected and scrutinised to proper standards and principles, but have been overlooked and given free leverage. This has resulted in the overwhelming costs of lives, livelihoods, properties, finances and such like, being incurred. 

Now, shifting from natural and human devastations to the spiritual devastating state, you will find that the spiritual devastating state is even more shocking, considering the deception, delusion, indoctrination, adulteration, perversion, falsehood and man-made effects upon people. 
Worst still is when you consider many of those who are called Christians, or followers of Jesus Christ, or Believers answering to the Faith in Christ Jesus, who are without the basic foundation or foundational knowledge and understanding of the Faith they claim to belong to, except to their denominational doctrinal settings — creeds, bylaws, traditional dogmas and such like. 
Philippians 1:15-18; Galatians 1:6-9; Jude 1:3-4; Acts 8:9-24 

While many have sincerely given their lives to God in Christ Jesus and have resolved to both believe and follow Christ Jesus as their foundation, there are others who have found themselves knowingly and or unknowingly on a wrongly laid FOUNDATION — especially in some places of worship. And there are others who have blindly followed the blind, and have been swayed away from the TRUTH in their faith foundation of the Gospel. 
In each case, many are not only wrongly founded, but are also building wrongly upon that same foundation that was wrongly laid. 
1 Corinthians 3:1-17; 2 Timothy 2:19-21 

And it is partly upon the concerns in the above paragraph that the call comes to us: to help some, if not all, to the place of living and building on – “THE SURE FOUNDATION” in Christ Jesus. This is to bring the essence of light out of darkness, into the full knowledge of God in the face of Christ Jesus, as written:  

“For God, who said, “Let LIGHT SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS,” is the One who has SHONE in our hearts to GIVE us the Light of the KNOWLEDGE of the glory and majesty of God [clearly revealed] in the FACE of Christ . . . 13 Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had, who wrote in Scripture, “I believed, therefore I spoke.” We also believe, therefore we also speak, 14 knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and will present us [along] with you in His presence” 2 Corinthians 4:6, 13-14/Amplified. 

And laying the foundation of one’s FAITH on THE ROCK, and building and living on that same ROCK, which is Jesus Christ — the Foundation and the Builder of His Church — is God’s expectation of us if we must THRIVE in an ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory in Christ Jesus; and to save us from living and building a life of SURVIVAL while we yet acclaim to be God’s own in every sense. Matthew 7:24-27. 

Our Father God, in His eternal plan, laid the unshaken and indestructible foundation of our FAITH in His set plan for human REDEMPTION in His Son Jesus Christ. This He did long before the formation and foundation of the world, the Scripture says — thus indicating that the world, in God’s plan, has a FOUNDATION to keep it stable for purpose. 
Revelation 13:8; 1 Peter 1:18-21; Hebrews 9:26; Ephesians 1:4; John 17:24 

I will be taking time to expatiate, segment upon segment, in the course of the month, on what it means to live and build on THE SURE FOUNDATION, which is of God in Christ Jesus, so that you and I can enjoy the fulness and fulfilling life and godly living in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

“If the FOUNDATIONS be DESTROYED, what can the RIGHTEOUS DO?” Psalms 11:3. 

“According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the FOUNDATION, and another BUILDETH thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 FOR OTHER FOUNDATION CAN NO MAN LAY THAN THAT IS LAID, WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST. 12 Now if any man BUILD upon this FOUNDATION gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16 Know ye not that ye are the TEMPLE of God, and that the Spirit of God DWELLETH in you? 17 If any man DEFILE the TEMPLE of God, him shall God DESTROY; for the TEMPLE of God is HOLY, which TEMPLE ye ARE” 1 Corinthians 3:10-17. 

“Nevertheless the FOUNDATION of God STANDETH SURE, having this SEAL, The Lord KNOWETH them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ DEPART FROM INIQUITY. 20 But in a great house there are not only VESSELS of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to HONOUR, and some to DISHONOUR. 21 If a man therefore PURGE himself from these, he shall be a VESSEL unto HONOUR, SANCTIFIED, and MEET for the MASTER’S use, and PREPARED unto EVERY GOOD WORK” 2 Timothy 2:19-21.

It is a call to examine the foundation of our faith and life, and to intentionally build on Christ Jesus alone, because every life, ministry, family and nation will face storms. Only what is founded on THE ROCK will stand and THRIVE in an ONWARD and UPWARD trajectory.

    Natural,human and spiritual devastations reveal what happens when foundations are weak, overlooked, or wrongly laid. We see buildings reduced to rubble, loss of lives, livelihoods, properties, and ministries. Spiritually, it is worse — deception, delusion, false doctrine, and man-made religion have left many believers without basic knowledge of the Faith.

  3. Christ Jesus IS THE SURE FOUNDATION
    No other foundation can be laid. God’s eternal plan of redemption in Christ wasestablished before the world was formed.

  4. How We Build Matters

  1. EXAMINE YOUR FOUNDATION — Ask: Is my faith, family, work, and ministry built on Christ, or on creeds, traditions, or human wisdom?

  2. BUILD WISELY — Hear AND DO the Word. Be a vessel of honour, purged and prepared for the Master’s use.

DARE TO PANT AFTER GOD AS THE DEER: YOUR TRIUMPH IS EMBEDDED IN HEARTFELT PANTS AFTER GOD! 

“As the DEER PANTS for the WATER BROOKS, So PANTS my soul for You, O God. 2 My soul THIRSTS for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? . . .” Psalms 42. 

The Psalmist declares that as the DEER pants for the water brooks, so does his soul pant after God. 
To behold His beauty, glory and grace in life, rather than to remain in a lamentable state. 

It is in the knowing that in God’s PRESENCE is the FULNESS — overflow — of joy, and at His RIGHT HAND, where we are positioned in Christ Jesus, are PLEASURES for evermore, as enjoined in the Holy Writ — Psalms 16:11; Ephesians 1:20; Ephesians 2:6. 

Therefore, in this month, take a new turn in life. 
It is your time now to — “DARE TO TRIUMPH IN EVERY PLACE” — in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus, unafraid and unashamed in seeking after God as the Psalmist did. 

What then is it about the DEER — this spirited animal — that is being compared to one seeking after God? 
Herein are a few simple characteristics worth knowing: 

Gentleness and an emboldened spirit to take chance — opportunity 

Ability to move through life and obstacles with grace 

Being in touch with the inner child, innocence — guiltless and easy to trust 

Being sensitive and intuitive — the antlers serve as antennae, just as our human spirit is attuned in the subconscious towards God by His Spirit through His WORD 

Vigilance, with the ability to change directions quickly to avoid danger — of the enemy and his cohorts 

Magical ability to regenerate, being in touch with life’s mysteries — innovative, relevant, creative and an explorer

  3. PRACTISE DEER CHARACTERISTICS — Walk in gentleness, grace, vigilance, sensitivity to the Spirit, and creative faith this month. 
  4. REFUSE SURVIVAL MODE — Choose to BEHOLD God’s beauty and glory rather than remain in a lamentable state.

ENACTING YOUR REDEMPTION RIGHTS IN CHRIST JESUS: THIS IS ABOUT COMMUNICATING YOUR REDEMPTION FAITH TO LIFE MATTERS IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD!  

“That the COMMUNICATION (SHARING, FELLOWSHIP, DECLARING, PRONOUNCING) of thy FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the ACKNOWLEDGING of EVERY GOOD THING which is IN YOU in Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6. 

“ENACTING YOUR REDEMPTION RIGHTS IN CHRIST JESUS” is about graciously COMMUNICATING YOUR REDEMPTION FAITH in Christ Jesus’ stead to the matters of life, just as Jesus Christ did with His GRACIOUS WORDS. Many began to wonder how the carpenter, Joseph’s son, had become so unique and was making a difference in His humanity. 

And this is possible by knowing and understanding what belongs to you in Christ Jesus’ stead in all that pertains to living life and godliness. 

“And all bare HIM (CHRIST JESUS) witness, and WONDERED at the GRACIOUS WORDS WHICH PROCEEDED OUT OF HIS MOUTH. And they said, IS NOT THIS JOSEPH’S SON?” Luke 4:42. 

Do you know that most of life’s problems may not necessarily be about one having MORE FAITH OR NO FAITH, as one craves or wants to have and possess? 

Most of the time, for the Christ-believing child of God, it is not NECESSARILY about your FAITH problem. It is about you KNOWING and UNDERSTANDING what BELONGS to you in Christ Jesus, and you ACTING — COMMUNICATING — on it accordingly. 

It is in this place of APPROPRIATING and ENACTING what is YOURS in Christ Jesus that many have a problem. For FAITH is about acting accordingly, on what you BELIEVE of God’s WORD, in the CONTEXT of that WORD of God. 

For example, your children will need a key to enter the house, but they do not need a key to enter the kitchen, the lounge, the dining room, or the study, or any section of the house to get what they need. As long as they know what belongs to them WHILE ALREADY in the HOUSE by virtue of BIRTH, they need not struggle; they will simply ACT on their BIRTH-RIGHT within the FAMILY CONTEXT to explore and enjoy ALL that is THERE in the house. 

In the same way, being BORN AGAIN by FAITH gives you access to Father God in Christ Jesus; but your BIRTH-RIGHT to enjoy the Father’s Promises is in you ACKNOWLEDGING and APPROPRIATING what BELONGS to you in Him. 
This is the HOW to COMMUNICATE your REDEMPTION FAITH in order to enjoy your PLACE in the LORD. 

It is the knowing and understanding of this act of FAITH COMMUNICATION that unveils ease in your PRAYER LIFE and PRAYER WALK with Father God. 

May I also INFORM you for your TRANSFORMATION, by letting you KNOW, and hoping that you do full well UNDERSTAND that you have been GIVEN the needed GRACE and FAITH in our REDEMPTION to enable you to APPROPRIATE and ENACT your GIVEN rights and privileges in Christ Jesus’ stead, in order to explore and enjoy your WHOLESOME LIVING. 

You have been GIVEN — “THE” MEASURE of FAITH and “THE” MEASURE of GRACE, and not “A” MEASURE to each. Can you see the use of the articles “THE” and “A” in context? THINK about it in the light of the scriptural writ of Romans 12:3 and Ephesians 4:7. 

COMMUNICATING YOUR FAITH TO YOUR NEEDS IN LIFE AND GRACE MAKES YOU A WINNER, TRIUMPHANT, VICTORIOUS, AN OVERCOMER, AND MORE THAN A CONQUEROR IN CHRIST JESUS’ STEAD. AMEN. 

Anything otherwise is counterfeit, forgery, falsehood, sorcery, and man-made make-believe, which is religion born from the tradition of men, that makes the WORD of God of no effect to ALL who practise that path of living. 

May you be BLESSED in LIFE and GRACE as you go about ENACTING YOUR REDEMPTION RIGHTS IN CHRIST JESUS by communicating your redemption faith to life’s matters; knowing and understanding what belongs to you in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

MONTH SEPTEMBER 2026 ENTITLED: “GROWING IN THE GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST! 

The Month of September 2026 is the MONTH OF BUTTERFLYING IN THE GRACE; it is the month to answer these questions here, though not limited to them: WHY GO PURSUING AFTER THE BUTTERFLY, WHEN YOU CAN CULTIVATE [CREATE AND CURATE] YOUR GARDEN WITHIN YOU BY GROWING YOUR PLANT – AND THE BUTTERFLIES WILL COME TO YOU, TO MAKE YOU BUTTERFLYING? THINK! 

I know that my God and your God, in Christ Jesus, wants to put an end to your aimlessness, sweating, depression, struggling, tiredness and such like. Hence I am using metaphor to illustrate to you what this Month is all about for you. A month of GROWTH and FRUITFULNESS that is ENTITLED: “GROWING IN THE GRACE & KNOWLEDGE IN CHRIST!” 

LET ME SHARE WITH YOU A PERSONAL LIFE STORY AS A METAPHOR TO THIS MONTH THEME. 

I found out just before I got married to my virtuous wife that everything around her showed signs of the butterfly, especially in her drawings. I thought is because of her tendency towards being a graphic designer and communicator. In closer observation, I also found out that the pendant on her necklace was most times with a butterfly, and sometimes on the bangles on her hand. There was a butterfly on top of the bangles. I never knew then that she was telling a storyline of saying, I am matured and ready to fly as a Butterfly. Now I know, without asking her for explanation. 

However, I didn’t read much meaning into it then, apart from saying, “OK, that’s what ladies like.” And in the course of getting married and planning for our wedding, I noticed that she was so insistent that the card be designed with a butterfly, and that the decorations would follow along the same line. There were others I cannot recall fully well now. I used to just say “butterfly lady” without reading meaning into it, but I observed it. And eventually, that’s what was done. 

I’ve thought of lots of things that had to do with the butterfly around her. I couldn’t understand fully well then what it meant. I later found out, in the course of researching in recent times, as I’ve been thinking about growth and fruitfulness and development and fulfilment in life and knowledge, and in many thoughts – That’s when the concept of the butterfly came alive again. While I was analysing, I realised there are four stages of growth and development in the becoming of the Butterfly – to BUTTER-FLY indeed in glory and beauty and grace. 

Although I knew something about the Butterfly in my Secondary School days as a student of Biology and Agricultural Science, before heading for Engineering – I didn’t think much about it as I have thought about the Butterfly at this period of my life, from a spiritual perspective. The butterfly has four stages of life: the time of the Egg, the time of the Larva [Caterpillar], the Pupa [Chrysalis], and eventually the formation of the Butterfly – the final stage. These stages or phases are signs of growth, signs of progressive changes. It is what is called metamorphosis – into what we want to become, as most of us want to become something in life and grace, in the grace. 

Let us consider a Butterfly in respect of growth and development in STAGES [PHASES]: 

A butterfly develops through four distinct life stages in a PROCESS called complete metamorphosis. This total transformation takes about one month to complete the cycle: 

THE FOUR STAGES ARE: 

1.The “Egg” Stage: 

Female butterflies lay tiny, round or oval eggs on plant leaves. These leaves will serve as food when the young hatch. 

2. The “Larva [Caterpillar]” Stage: 

A hungry caterpillar emerges to eat leaves and grow. It sheds its tight skin several times as its body gets bigger. 

3. The “Pupa [Chrysalis]” Stage: 

The full-grown caterpillar forms a hard shell called a chrysalis. Inside this shell, its body changes completely into a winged insect. 

4. The “Adult [Butterfly]” Stage: 

The adult insect breaks out of the chrysalis. It rests while its wet wings dry and fill with fluid before it flies away. 

The metaphoric writ is not about the Butterfly, but about YOU – to think and to derive something that will cause you to dream, to have a desire, to have a vision, and to understand that there is a process to becoming as a born-of –God child in Christ Jesus’ stead. Unfortunately, like the Butterfly, most people do not want to go through any processes to their becoming. They want to wake up one morning and just become – which is not only an illusion but has brought many to a place of delusion. 

But those who are wise take the path of growth to fruitfulness, by undergoing a process that will process them into becoming and has processed them into what they have BECOME. The wise know that when they are processed, and get to their place of becoming, they are solid, they are efficient, they are strong, they are competent, they are diligent, they are prudent. They have worth, they have quality and they are principled to the how of doing life and living godly, in the grace, in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

That’s why sometimes, you may be wondering, “Why is that person so stable and I am not stable?” The first thing you will want to ask yourself is: Did you follow through a PROCESS to arrive at the point you are at? Did you go through a PROCESS in life in that marital state? Did you go through a PROCESS in your educational career, in that degree course? Did you go through the PROCESS, or did you just ARRIVE or buy your way into the present point of your life right now without any process? 

For a butterfly to become a butterfly, there is a process to go through to come to that point. 

different phase in my life, a place of beauty and glory. A time to fly and display what I am made of, what I have been processed into. 

That’s why growth is so important to our fruitfulness in life and grace. And when you GROW as a Believer in God by God’s Word, in GRACE and in KNOWLEDGE, in Christ Jesus, in respect and context of this Month of September theme in Christ Jesus — you don’t just grow for nothing, but your growth makes you become in fruitfulness. 

Hence, I am persuaded and I am persuading you to see the need for GROWTH and FRUITFULNESS. For your growing in the grace, and growing in the knowledge in Christ Jesus, takes you out of struggle, religion, sectarianism, traditions and such like creeds and bondages that many have been addicted to, instead of growing. 

For if you are not growing, you will be stunted and withered with time. 

Because it is growth and fruitfulness, you radiate, you rekindle, you rejuvenate, you blossom and you refresh effortlessly. 

When you are processed into becoming, it will be said of you as was said of the Apostles and disciples in the early days — when the people analysed the whole process, they said, “This person,” “these people” are different, unique and peculiar — just as they said of the apostles, “they have been with Jesus,” as a mark of their uniqueness. 

These people that turned the world upside down, there was something unique about their lives, because they had been with Jesus. 

You will find out that the epitome of what you are trying to bring forth and show forth is that great bright light, that beauty you want to display — being grown in grace and knowledge in Christ Jesus, and not in yourself or in someone else. 

They will see — that behind it, before it, around it, within it — is the beauty of Jesus, the beauty of Christ. 

Like somebody trying to squeeze you in life, what you radiate, the aroma that comes from you, the fragrance, the beauty — what comes out of you is just Jesus, and nothing else. You just ooze out that glory, that beauty of life. 

When the butterfly is processed into a butterfly, through stage after stage, and when it is ready to fly, fully grown — some of us, like me as a growing child, tried to catch them. We would run after them. 

I can remember growing up as a child, during primary school, at break time. We would go out to play. We would see butterflies flying around, and we would try to capture them. Sometimes we succeeded, sometimes we didn’t. We burned energy, we burned time during that break, chasing butterflies of different sizes and colours and beauty. Some of us who were able to bring one into the classroom, we were all happy for him or her. And if you were not able, you kept on trying the next time. It was just beautiful, just to watch butterflies fly around. 

And when I look today, in the course of this month’s theme we have — if I want to come to that place of butterflies, I have to cultivate the garden. 

So when I look at my family, at the garden my wife has made today, where we’ve spent most of the summer outdoors, it is such a welcoming and relaxing and beautiful and healthy place to be — and it is simply because of the upgrade she has made it become. This summer was uniquely different, and so we spent most of our time outdoors in the beautiful garden. 

Now, whether at sunrise or late evening, you can see lots and lots of butterflies of various species flying around the garden, displaying their character and beauty and glory. The bees were not left out either, as they display what it means to pollinate plants to produce fruit and flowers — the bees are there flying from plant to plant, helping with the pollination of the fruit plants that are there, and the flowers that are there. 

I just love the beauty of beholding the garden through the kitchen window, especially with my eyes focusing on the butterflies in various places. It makes my mind reflect on the butterflies and bees and other insects in the Garden of Eden. I can imagine how beautiful it was to see butterflies, and bees pollinating — every creature doing its bit. 

The butterfly makes me realise even more that there is something about each one of us and our uniqueness: We are like a seed. And for us to bring forth the beauty we have, we need to GROW. For us to grow, we have to be planted. We need to have a good, natural environment for that butterfly nature in us to come out. We need to grow into it. 

And when you GROW through the process into your butterfly life, in the grace and in the knowledge of Christ Jesus, there is something different about you. 

But if you do it in haste, to become it overnight, the Scriptural writ says, “He that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent” — Proverbs 28:20. 
I say it again: He that is in haste to be rich shall not be innocent. 

That is why I love the scripture of Proverbs 11:11, and Proverbs 16:5: _ “He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.” _ 

There are Believers out there who will intentionally break laws, who will break rules in order to achieve their objectives. And there are people like that in the house of God, who just break the governing rules and governing laws and bypass the process to get to their desires. All they care about is, “I want to have a car, I want to have a house, I want to possess possessions,” without minding the consequences. 

When you trace the effects of the breaking of God’s Word, some people will say, “It is the end that justifies the means.” Unfortunately for them, in the context of the Kingdom, the process of acquiring what you want matters, and that is what justifies a child of God in grace and knowledge in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

If it is acquired by oppressing others, you are an oppressor. If you obtain what you obtain by intimidating others, you are not of God. You may have it, yes, but the Bible says, “The wicked shall not go unpunished” — and whatever you possess, you will not have peace, because “There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked” — Isaiah 48:22; Isaiah 57:21. 

But when you are processed to acquire what you want to acquire as a child of God, you are stable in your faith. You can call upon God, and He will be there for you. You are not afraid, you are not ashamed, because you know how you got there. If men applaud you for being there, you should know what it means, but if God approves you to be there, it is a different thing altogether — Acts 2:22; 2 Timothy 2:15.  

Therefore, in this month of September, the month of GROWING IN THE GRACE AND IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST JESUS, it is my earnest wish that, as a living plant, for you to attract your butterflies — and also as a seed, you need to grow to attract butterflies — you ensure that you are in good soil. That is your heart. So that your exposure will give you all the space for you to grow, and eventually, the butterflies will come. 

The butterfly will come to the garden to display its grace and to multiply too. The butterfly is always attracted to plants, and it will help with flowering, beautifying, and such like. 

I want you to know this, which is true: that every seed can become a forest by growing in the grace and knowledge of God — not in religion, not in dogma, not in tradition, not in the definition of men, but in the wisdom, and the power, and the Holy Spirit of God. 

And as a living seed, you have to be planted to grow up in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus, so that you can FLOURISH in the courts of our God. Don’t be a potted plant, but be a planted plant. It is in being planted that you can flourish to ensure God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS. 

Growth in the grace and knowledge in Christ Jesus is a life that is without limitations, and it is irrespective of all ages. Fruitfulness is for all to ensure through Growing. 

Then your butterflies will come instead of you pursuing after the butterflies.

“So, beloved, since you are looking forward to these things, be diligent and make every effort to be found by Him [at His return] spotless and blameless, in peace [that is, inwardly calm with a sense of spiritual well-being and confidence, having lived a life of obedience to Him]. 15 And consider the patience of our Lord [His delay in judging and avenging wrongs] as salvation [that is, allowing time for more to be saved]; just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given to him [by God], 16 speaking about these things as he does in all of his letters. “And now I COMMEND you to God [placing you in His protective, loving care] and [I commend you] to THE WORD OF HIS GRACE [the counsel and promises of His unmerited favor]. His grace is able to BUILD YOU UP and to GIVE YOU the [rightful] inheritance among all those who are sanctified [that is, among those who are set apart for God’s purpose—all believers]” Acts 20:32/Amplified. 

“But my horn [my emblem of strength and power] You have exalted like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil [for Your service]. 11 My eye has looked on my foes; My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me. 12 The righteous will flourish like the date palm [long-lived, upright and useful]; They will grow like a cedar in Lebanon [majestic and stable]. 13 Planted in the house of the Lord, They will flourish in the courts of our God. 14 [Growing in grace] they will still thrive and bear fruit and prosper in old age; They will flourish and be vital and fresh [rich in trust and love and contentment]; 15 [They are living memorials] to declare that the Lord is upright and faithful [to His promises]; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. SUMMARY: 
This message is a prophetic charge for SEPTEMBER 2026 entitled: “GROWING IN THE GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST” — a month of BUTTERFLING IN THE GRACE. 

Using the butterfly and the garden as a living metaphor, it calls every born-again believer to embrace PROCESS over HASTE, and to grow into fruitfulness in Christ Jesus. 

KEY POINTS: 

  1. THE BUTTERFLY METAPHOR: PROCESS PRODUCES MANIFESTATION
  • A butterfly goes through 4 stages: Egg → Larva/Caterpillar → Pupa/Chrysalis → Adult Butterfly. This is called complete metamorphosis and takes time.

  1. WHY PEOPLE STRUGGLE: THEY WANT TO BECOME WITHOUT PROCESS
  • Many want to wake up and “just become.” That is illusion and leads to delusion. 
  • The wise take the path of growth. Processing makes you solid, efficient, strong, competent, diligent, prudent, principled. 
  • Self-check questions: Did you follow a PROCESS in marriage, education, career, or ministry? Or did you just ARRIVE or buy your way there? 
  • Scripture warning: “He that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent” — Proverbs 28:20. “He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread” — Proverbs 11:11.  
  1. THE DANGER OF BYPASSING GOD’S PROCESS
  • Some in the house of God break rules, oppress, and intimidate just to “possess possessions.” 
  • “It is the end that justifies the means” is not Kingdom logic. In the Kingdom, the process matters. 
  • Consequence: “The wicked shall not go unpunished” and “There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked” — Isaiah 48:22; 57:21. 
  • God-processed people are stable. They are not afraid or ashamed because they know how they got there. Men may applaud, but God’s approval is different — Acts 2:22; 2 Tim 2:15. 
  1. GROWTH IN GRACE & KNOWLEDGE = FREEDOM & FRUITFULNESS
  • Growing in grace and knowledge in Christ Jesus delivers you from struggle, religion, sectarianism, tradition, and bondage. 
  • Without growth you become stunted and withered. With growth you radiate, rekindle, rejuvenate, blossom, and refresh effortlessly. 
  • Like the apostles, people will say of you: “They have been with Jesus.” Your life will ooze the aroma, fragrance, and beauty of Christ. 
  1. CULTIVATE YOUR GARDEN, DON’T CHASE BUTTERFLIES
  • Personal testimony: Your wife’s garden this summer attracted many butterflies and bees because it was cultivated and upgraded. 
  • Truth: Butterflies are attracted to planted, flowering gardens. They help with pollination and beauty. 
  • Application: You are a seed. To bring forth beauty you must be planted in good soil — your heart. Don’t be a potted plant. Be a planted plant so you can FLOURISH in the courts of our God — Psalms 92:13-14. 
  • Every seed can become a forest by growing in the wisdom, power, and Holy Spirit of God, not in religion, dogma, or men’s definition.

  • 2 Peter 3:14-18: “But GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” Be diligent, not carried away by error.

  • 2 Peter 1:5-8: Add virtue, knowledge, self-control… “For if these things abound in you, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful.”

CALL TO ACTION: 

  1. DECIDE TO GROW: Be intentional about growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus through God’s Word and the Holy Spirit. 
  2. EMBRACE THE PROCESS: Don’t take shortcuts. Allow God to process you through every stage so your becoming will be stable and God-approved. 
  3. CULTIVATE YOUR HEART/GARDEN: Get into good soil. Create an environment of prayer, Word, obedience, and the Spirit. Stop pursuing the butterfly — become the garden and the butterflies will come to you. 
  4. REJECT HASTE & COMPROMISE: Don’t break Kingdom principles to get results. Fruit without process has no peace. 
  5. PURPOSE TO FLOURISH: Be planted, not potted. Grow without limitations at any age so you can bear fruit, display glory, and reflect Jesus. 

God’s desire for you this month: To put an end to aimlessness, sweating, and struggling. To bring you into a season of GROWTH and FRUITFULNESS where you BUTTERFLY in grace — beautiful, stable, fruitful, and full of the aroma of Christ.

IT IS MONTH SEPTEMBER: DARE TO TRIUMPH IN EVERY PLACE!

It’s your TIMELESS opportunity to CREATE and COLOUR your WORLDS with the atmosphere you love to SEE, ENJOY and BE FULLFILLED in. It’s all by being EMBOLDENED and DARING to BECOME in LIFE and GODLY LIVING.

PROSPERING YOUR SPIRIT-BEING FOR YOUR WHOLENESS! 

“Beloved, I pray that in every way you may SUCCEED and PROSPER and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your SOUL PROSPERS [SPIRITUALLY]” 3 John 1:2/Amplified. 

The Holy Writ informs us that our God has BLESSED us in Christ Jesus, even as He REDEEMED us from SIN to RIGHTEOUSNESS. And His BLESSEDNESS is to ENRICH us and not to give us sorrow, pain, or any form of side effects or bandages. And to be BLESSED of God is to be EMPOWERED to PROSPER and ACHIEVE purpose meaningfully in the grace. This thus indicates that the concept of PROSPERITY or PROSPERING is because we have been BLESSED [EMPOWERED] by God, which is the consequence of our redemption rights and privileges in Christ Jesus. Amen. So, the default of BLESSEDNESS that results in PROSPERITY in the grace is in the DNA of our justification in redemption. 

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath BLESSED us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” Ephesians 1:3. 

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 that THE BLESSING of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might RECEIVE the promise of the Spirit through faith” Galatians 3:13-14. 

“THE BLESSING of the Lord, it MAKETH RICH, and he ADDETH NO SORROW with it” Proverbs 10:22. 

This indicates that it is as we PROSPER in our SPIRIT-BEING in the grace, that we are then able to ensure and assure that our whole being prospers accordingly [3 John 1:2]; and we are positioned with the wholeness default – and the wholeness default is about our triune being: spirit, soul and body. For we are, by default, through knowledge to share and partake in all that pertains to life and godliness in the grace, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

“May grace (God’s favor) and peace (which is perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in [the full, personal, precise, and correct] KNOWLEDGE of God and of Jesus our Lord. 3 For His DIVINE POWER has bestowed upon us ALL THINGS that [are requisite and suited] to LIFE and GODLINESS, through the [full, personal] KNOWLEDGE of Him Who CALLED us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue) 4 By means of these He has BESTOWED on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and become SHARERS (PARTAKERS) of the DIVINE NATURE” 2 Peter 1:2-4/Amplified Classic Edition. 

Know that Month SEPTEMBER is the ninth month of the year in the JULIAN and GREGORIAN calendars, and it is the third of four months to have a length of 30 days, and the fourth of five months to have a length of fewer than 31 days. September in the Northern Hemisphere and March in the Southern Hemisphere are seasonal equivalents. And Month SEPTEMBER in the northern hemisphere is usually considered the first month of autumn. For many, the month of September signals the end of summer, the beginning of autumn, and the start of a new school year. With respect to the calendar, September marks the beginning of the series of months named after their numerical position in the year. 

Therefore, in this Month of September, know that you have All it takes to BECOME in Christ Jesus, as we have been endowed and endued with the enabling grace of God in the grace. So, make an intentional choice to ensure you SCRIPTURALLY PROSPER your spirit-being for the good of your whole [total] being, for the WORD of God works and is alive today, to make it all possible for our now and tomorrow, as our God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. 

So, in this Month September we will be exploring on how to ensure we PROSPER our SPIRIT-BEING, in order to PROSPER also in other aspects of our doing life; and this is in ensuring and assuring our total being prospers in the grace. For Month SEPTEMBER – the ninth month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian calendars – can be summed up Scripturally in this wise:  

  • It is to remind one of the Nine (9) FRUITS of the Holy Spirit to develop and build up the Christian FAITH, CHARACTER, BEHAVIOUR, and CONDUCT, enabling in the grace. [Galatians 5:22-25; 1 Timothy 3:15]. 
  • It is to remind one of the Nine (9) SPIRITUAL GIFTS of the Spirit to build up and give one that enabling grace of God to function in MINISTERIAL, SPIRITUAL and CIVIL [CIVILITY] demands in grace. [1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 27-31; Romans 12:1-8]. 
  • It teaches us the essence of WHOLENESS and COMPLETENESS and FULFILMENT and TOTALITY and MATURING, since the number nine [9] means PERFECTION in a scriptural sense. [1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 4:12-13]. 

In this month, we set our hearts on “PROSPERING YOUR SPIRIT-BEING FOR YOUR WHOLENESS [TOTALITY]” in life and godliness, in the grace of God in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. And I pray that by God’s enabling we shall, through the course of this month, explore how you may PROSPER in your spirit-being to ensure and assure the prosperity of your total being in the grace, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

The message is a September charge to intentionally PROSPER YOUR SPIRIT-BEING as the foundation for WHOLENESS [TOTALITY] in life and godliness. It anchors prosperity in redemption, not striving — because in Christ we have already been BLESSED, REDEEMED, and EMPOWERED by grace to live and succeed in spirit, soul, and body. 

Key Points 

  1. Blessing Precedes Prosperity 
    God has BLESSED us in Christ Jesus and REDEEMED us from SIN to RIGHTEOUSNESS [Ephesians 1:3; Galatians 3:13-14]. His BLESSEDNESS ENRICHES without sorrow or side effects [Proverbs 10:22]. To be BLESSED is to be EMPOWERED to PROSPER and fulfil purpose in grace. This is the DNA of our justification in redemption. 
  2. Spirit-First Prosperity Produces Total Prosperity 
    “Beloved, I pray that in every way you may SUCCEED and PROSPER and be in good health, just as your SOUL PROSPERS” [3 John 1:2]. As we prosper in our SPIRIT-BEING in grace, we can ensure and assure that our whole being prospers. This is the “wholeness default” — spirit, soul, and body [1 Thessalonians 5:23]. 
  3. Prosperity Comes Through Knowledge of God and His Word 
    All things that pertain to LIFE and GODLINESS are given to us through the full KNOWLEDGE of Him [2 Peter 1:2-4]. The WORD of God is alive and working to make prosperity possible now and tomorrow [Hebrews 4:12-13; Joshua 1:8]. God takes PLEASURE in the PROSPERITY of His servant [Psalms 35:27]. 
  4. September = 9: A Call to Maturity and Wholeness 
    September is the 9th month. Scripturally, 9 speaks of PERFECTION, WHOLENESS, and MATURING. 
  5. Nine FRUITS of the Spirit: to build FAITH, CHARACTER, BEHAVIOUR, and CONDUCT [Galatians 5:22-25] 
  6. Nine SPIRITUAL GIFTS: to function in MINISTERIAL, SPIRITUAL, and CIVIL demands [1 Corinthians 12:7-11] 
  7. Triune Wholeness: to become sharers/partakers of the DIVINE NATURE and escape decay [2 Peter 1:4] 
  8. You Are Already Endowed and Endued 
    In Christ we have ALL it takes to BECOME. The enabling grace of God has equipped us. The righteous will flourish like a cedar, thrive in old age, and be vital and fresh [Psalms 92:12-14]. The Lord blesses ALL THE WORK of our hands [Deuteronomy 28:12]. [prospers][empowers] 

Call to Action 

  1. Make an intentional choice this month: SCRIPTURALLY PROSPER your spirit-being first. Feed on the Word Day and night, meditate, and do it [Joshua 1:8]. 
  2. Build the 9 Fruits and walk in the 9 Gifts: Let your character, conduct, and ministry reflect maturity and wholeness in grace. 
  3. Live from Blessing, not for Blessing: Remember you are already BLESSED in Christ. From that place, pursue purpose, work, and health knowing God’s power has already supplied ALL things for life and godliness. 
  4. Guard your wholeness: Present your WHOLE spirit, soul, and body to God for preservation [1 Thessalonians 5:23], so that you prosper in every way this season. 

Final Charge: This September, set your heart to prosper in your spirit-being. As your inner man grows strong in grace and knowledge, your total being — spirit, soul, and body — will follow into health, success, and wholeness. Amen. Blessed regards.

WELCOME TO MONTH SEPTEMBER 2026: MONTH OF “GROWING IN THE GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE IN CHRIST JESUS!

“. . . 18 but grow [spiritually mature] in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory (honor, majesty, splendor), both now and to the day of eternity. Amen” 2 Peter 3:14-18/Amplified.

The MONTH of SEPTEMBER 2026 is the month of GROWTH AND FRUITFULNESS; and it is entitled: GROWING IN THE GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST! This is about “Ensuring GROWTH & FRUITFULNESS In the grace, in Christ Jesus’ stead”; and on this basis of growth and fruitfulness, I am referring firstly the earlier scripture of 2 Peter 3:18, and now recommending another for your perusal to get this month started on an onward and upward trajectory, in the scriptural context of Acts 20:32 as written: 

“And now I COMMEND you to God [placing you in His protective, loving care] and [I commend you] to THE WORD OF HIS GRACE [the counsel and promises of His unmerited favor]. His GRACE is able to BUILD you up and to GIVE you the [rightful] INHERITANCE among all those who are SANCTIFIED [that is, among those who are set apart for God’s purpose—all believers]” Acts 20:32/Amplified. 

Picture this: a seed. A seed has potential. A seed of a plant has life in it, it has potential, it has the enabling and ability to BECOME a forest. But as long as it is not planted, it cannot GROW, and as such it has no value, even though it has a component of value. And for that seed to become a forest, it must be planted and be planted in good soil to grow and be fruitful. Being PLANTED ensures GROWTH and FRUITFULNESS, with good soil to enable it to FLOURISH. Recall I am saying PLANTED and not POTTED. For only those who are PLANTED that FLOURISH, unlike being POTTED – which is instability, limited, stunted and such like. Hence the scripture of Psalms 92:10-15, indicates that only the PLANTED respond to growth, and then flourish in FRUITFULNESS in the courts of our God, as written: 

“But my horn [my emblem of strength and power] You have exalted like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil [for Your service]. 11 My eye has looked on my foes; My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me. 12 The righteous will flourish like the date palm [long-lived, upright and useful]; They will grow like a cedar in Lebanon [majestic and stable]. 13 Planted in the house of the Lord, They will flourish in the courts of our God. 14 [Growing in grace] they will still thrive and bear fruit and prosper in old age; They will flourish and be vital and fresh [rich in trust and love and contentment]; 15 [They are living memorials] to declare that the Lord is upright and faithful [to His promises]; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” [Rom 9:14] Psalms 92:10-12. 

When a tree is planted in a good soil, by reason of the scripture – the Bible scripture of Genesis 8:22, it thus say: “As long as the earth remains, saith the Lord, seedtime and harvest, autumn, winter, summer and spring will never pass by without each accomplishing their purpose of creation. It means that the conditions to make every seed become a forest are always available. It depends on whether that seed is planted to GROW in order to FLOURISH. 

If the seed is planted and it is not tempered with by external factors of religion, denominational spirit, man-made beliefs, then that seed has the potential to grow, and from that growth it will yield fruit. So in this month of September that is entitled “GROWING IN THE GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST”, know that you are God’s seed, and God has set you as a seed, and planted you in the world – otherwise the earth – for a purpose to accomplish in His name [Isaiah 45:11-13; Psalms 8:4-6]. This default of grace is irrespective and it is for all, especially those who are now born of God, in Christ Jesus’ stead, and it is not limited by geography, meaning by your location.  

If you can plant yourself in the WORD of GRACE and KNOWLEDGE in Christ Jesus’ stead, you will come to see how, by the Word of God, you will FLOURISH in the grace. For every condition about you to become what God wants you to be is available and within reach, so long as you do not grow by religion, denominational indoctrination, sectarianism, creed and bylaws, man-made traditions and perversions, and such like. 

So, in this Month of SEPTEMBER, in the year of the Lord, I want to gear you up by this my saying, as I have always challenged myself and others: WHY GO ABOUT PURSUING TO GET THE BUTTERFLY? WHY NOT CREATE A GARDEN BY YOUR PLANTING, AND THE BUTTERFLY WILL COME TO YOU TO BUTTER-FLY?  

Thus meaning: that earnest expectations you are running for and after, that you are dying for and after, that you are pursuing after – why not create a garden to bring such to you? In you is the fullness of God in Christ Jesus. In you is what it takes to be the champion, winner, overcomer, victorious, triumphant and a more than conqueror, in the grace, in Christ Jesus stead.  

A default of grace was imparted into you when you gave your life to Jesus. And when you look inward to develop it, to cultivate it, by growing in the grace and knowledge of God in Christ Jesus, you become what you might be pursuing to come to you from you. 

The Holy Writ, THE BIBLE says, paraphrased, “He that CULTIVATES his land, meaning he that tills his land shall never be hungry.” If you cultivate it, every condition for greatness will come out of it. So, instead of you running out, people will come to your domain to seek for what you have cultivated. Eventually you become life, and become an instrument of change for many lives. It’s time to stop running to catch a butterfly. Create your garden, the butterfly will come to you. Create the world, the atmosphere you want to see, in the grace, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Grow in grace, grow in knowledge, so that when the butterflies start coming, you have the capacity to accommodate and to be butterflying. And you will have the capacity to accommodate without being burnt out and worn out.  

As a living seed, you have to be planted to grow up in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus, so that you can FLOURISH in the courts of our God. Don’t be a potted plant, but be a planted plant. It is in your being planted that you can flourish to ensure God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS. This is the time of Growth [Growing], in the grace and knowledge in Christ Jesus, to live without limitations, and it is irrespective of all ages. Fruitfulness is for all to ensure through GROWING. Then your butterflies will come instead of you pursuing after the butterflies. 

You are truly WELCOME to the month of BUTTERFLYING in the grace, the Month of GROWTH and FRUITFULNESS, the Month of SEPTEMBER 2026 that is ENTITLED: “GROWING IN THE GRACE & KNOWLEDGE IN CHRIST!” 

Don’t go about anymore pursuing for the Butterfly, when you can cultivate [create and curate] your garden and grow your plant, your being in Christ Jesus, in the grace and knowledge of the Word by the Holy Spirit, and the butterflies will come to you THINK! 

This is your MONTH to CULTIVATE your garden to ensure you butterfly in life and grace. THINK! 

I pray you have understanding of this, in Jesus’ name. Amen. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH READING AND PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“So, beloved, since you are looking forward to these things, be diligent and make every effort to be found by Him [at His return] spotless and blameless, in peace [that is, inwardly calm with a sense of spiritual well-being and confidence, having lived a life of obedience to Him]. 15 And consider the patience of our Lord [His delay in judging and avenging wrongs] as salvation [that is, allowing time for more to be saved]; just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given to him [by God], 16 speaking about these things as he does in all of his letters. In which there are some things that are difficult to understand, which the untaught and unstable [who have fallen into error] twist and misinterpret, just as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17 Therefore, [let me warn you] beloved, knowing these things beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the ERROR of UNPRINCIPLED men [who distort doctrine] and fall from your own steadfastness [of mind, knowledge, truth, and faith], 18 but GROW [SPIRITUALLY MATURE] IN THE GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. “Hear the word of the Lord, You children of Israel, For the Lord brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land: “There is NO TRUTH OR MERCY OR KNOWLEDGE of God in the land . . . 6 MY PEOPLE are DESTROYED for lack OF KNOWLEDGE. SUMMARY 

This message is a SEPTEMBER 2026 apostolic charge titled: “GROWING IN THE GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST” — a call to ensure GROWTH & FRUITFULNESS by being PLANTED in THE WORD OF GRACE, not chasing external things, but cultivating inwardly so that what you desire comes to you.

  1. The Danger of External Interference
  • Growth is hindered by religion, denominational spirit, sectarianism, creed, bylaws, man-made traditions and perversions. 
  • True growth comes by planting yourself in THE WORD OF GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE in Christ Jesus’ stead — free from geography, age, or limitation. 
  1. The Butterfly Principle: Stop Chasing, Start Cultivating
  • Core Challenge: “WHY GO ABOUT PURSUING TO GET THE BUTTERFLY? WHY NOT CREATE A GARDEN BY YOUR PLANTING, AND THE BUTTERFLY WILL COME TO YOU TO BUTTER-FLY?” 
  • Meaning: Stop pursuing the things you want. Cultivate your life in Christ and those things will be drawn to you. 
  • Proverbs 12:11 paraphrased: “He that CULTIVATES his land shall not lack.” 
  • When you grow in grace and knowledge, you become life and an instrument of change. People will come to your domain for what you have cultivated. 
  1. The Capacity to Accommodate
  • Grow in grace and knowledge so when “butterflies” come — opportunities, fruit, influence — you have capacity to accommodate without being burnt out and worn out. 
  • 2 Peter 1:5-8: Add to faith virtue, knowledge, self-control… “For if these things are yours and abound, you will be NEITHER BARREN NOR UNFRUITFUL IN THE KNOWLEDGE of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 
  1. Supporting Scriptures on Knowledge
  • Matthew 22:29: Error comes from “not KNOWING the Scriptures nor the POWER of God”. 
  • Hosea 4:6; Isaiah 5:13: “MY PEOPLE are DESTROYED for lack OF KNOWLEDGE… gone into CAPTIVITY, Because they have NO KNOWLEDGE.” 
  • Luke 2:46, 52: Jesus Himself INCREASED in WISDOM and stature. Growth is modelled by Christ.

CALL TO ACTION 

  1. GET PLANTED: Be planted in THE WORD and in the house of the Lord. Refuse to be a potted plant. 
  2. CULTIVATE YOUR GARDEN: Look inward. Develop the grace imparted to you. Grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus daily. 
  3. STOP CHASING: Stop running after “butterflies” — provision, promotion, recognition. Create the atmosphere and they will come to you. 
  4. GROW WITHOUT LIMITATION: This grace is for all ages and all locations. Ensure fruitfulness through consistent growth. 
  5. THINK! Pause. Apply the Word. Let it build you, establish you, and make you fruitful in God’s righteousness. 

Final Declaration: 
You are WELCOME to SEPTEMBER 2026 — the MONTH OF BUTTERFLYING, GROWTH and FRUITFULNESS. This is your MONTH to CULTIVATE your garden to ensure you butterfly in life and grace. Amen.

BE THE WORD DOER: FOR ONLY THE WORD DOERS ARE “BLESSED” INDEED! 

“But be ye DOERS of the WORD, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the WORD, and not a DOER, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be BLESSED in his DEED” James 1:22-25. 

It is not how ELOQUENT you can TALK that CHANGES your WORLDS, but how much you can DO — THE WORD you talk about — to change your worlds and the worlds of others around you in grace. 

For it is about WALKING [DOING] the TALK, LIVING by the Spirit of THE WORD in the TALKING, and not about TALKING and making NOISE around without the WALKING [DOING] and LIVING by the Spirit of THE WORD, to change your worlds by your belief and believing in grace. 

For by THE WORD all THINGS are created and formed through FAITH — and FAITH is ACTING correspondingly, according to what you BELIEVE of God’s WORD in that particular CONTEXT in question.  

“By FAITH [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the WORLDS (universe, ages) were FRAMED and CREATED [FORMED, put in ORDER, and EQUIPPED for their intended PURPOSE] by THE WORD of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible” Hebrews 11:3/Amplified. 

“But I say, WALK habitually in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature [which responds impulsively without regard for God and His precepts] . . . 25 If we [claim to] LIVE by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also WALK by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit]” Galatians 5:16, 25/Amplified. 

The Scriptures in James 1:22-25 indicate that only the DOERS of what they HEAR are BLESSED, and not just BLESSED, but BLESSED INDEED. 

Jesus exemplified this in life and ministry. He would DO then TEACH, or TEACH then DO. He knew the effectual power of DOING to exemplify what He was about to talk about, and the efficacy of DOING what He had talked about. 

This act to DO and TEACH He CONTINUED to exercise in life and ministry, UNTIL the day He left the mortality of humanity for the immortality of heaven — Acts 1:1-3.  

“. . . Jesus began both to DO and TEACH, 2 UNTIL THE DAY IN WHICH HE WAS TAKEN UP, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: 3 to whom also he SHEWED himself alive after his passion by many INFALLIBLE PROOFS, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God” Acts 1:1-3. 

I challenge you to step into your worlds with the intent to be a DOER of the WORD of God in life and grace. BE A DOER OF THE WORD — FOR THE WORD WORKS INDEED. 

Doing the WORD will create the atmosphere you want to see and enjoy. Jesus did, and He had it approved of God with signs and wonders following — Acts 2:22. You can too, if you give it a go. I am a living witness of the working WORD when you do it.  

“Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man APPROVED of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know” Acts 2:22. 

When the Apostles went about DOING THE WORD, the Lord CONFIRMED THE WORD with them. 

The Lord God does not confirm any of their possessions, titles, status, persons and such like, but His WORD that they went about proclaiming. 

For as they carried THE WORD, the Lord was honouring THE WORD, and thereby honouring them — and not the other way round with hype, applause and such like for self before THE WORD.  

“. . . 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they WENT FORTH, and PREACHED every where, the Lord working with them, and CONFIRMING THE WORD WITH SIGNS FOLLOWING. Amen” Mark 16:15-20. 

And the ministering angels, who are to minister unto us as heirs of His salvation, will only act on our behalf by THE WORD and not apart from THE WORD. 

They DO THE WORD and only HARKEN to the VOICE of THE WORD — meaning the proclamation of THE WORD only. They are not out there to DO and HARKEN to the noise and noises around, no matter who is making it and how much is made without THE WORD — Psalms 103:20, Hebrews 1:7, 14.  

“Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that DO his commandments, HEARKENING unto the VOICE of his WORD” Psalms 103:20. 

“And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire . . . 14 Are they not all MINISTERING spirits, sent forth to MINISTER for them who shall be HEIRS of salvation?“ Hebrews 1:7, 14. 

And it is upon this knowledge and understanding — that only the DOING of THE WORD matters with God — hence the writer of the epistle, the Acts of the Apostles, Dr Luke, thereby made this admonition to all in Acts 20:32, saying: “And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD of his grace, which is able to BUILD you up, and to give you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED” 

It is only THE WORD that matters to Father God because THE WORD is Christ Jesus personified — 1 John 5:7; 1:1, 5, 14. And personifying THE WORD means God is obligated to show up for you and honour His WORD personified. 

That is how much THE WORD matters to Father God in every phase of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

I wish you God’s grace in Christ Jesus’ stead, as you DO THE WORD to receive His indeed BLESSEDNESS. Amen. 

BE A DOER OF THE WORD FOR THE WORD WORKS IN LIFE AND GRACE IN CHRIST JESUS’ STEAD. AMEN.

“BLESSED is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his DELIGHT is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he MEDITATE day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree PLANTED by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his LEAF also shall not wither; and WHATSOEVER HE DOETH SHALL PROSPER” Psalms 1:1-3. 

SUMMARY: 
This message is a charge to BE A DOER OF THE WORD — because ONLY THE WORD DOERS ARE “BLESSED” INDEED. 
It declares that eloquence and noise without action cannot change worlds. Real change, real blessing, and divine confirmation come when we WALK the TALK — living by the Spirit of THE WORD, acting in FAITH, and personifying Christ who IS THE WORD.

    God’s pattern is clear. Hearing without doing is self-deception.
    James 1:22-25 — “But be ye DOERS of the WORD, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves… But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be BLESSED in his DEED” 
    Blessing is tied to DOING, not just knowing.  
  1. THREE TRUTHS ABOUT BEING A WORD DOER
    THE WORD CREATES WORLDS THROUGH FAITH-FILLED ACTION
    It is not eloquence that changes your world, but DOING THE WORD.
    Hebrews 11:3 — “By FAITH [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the WORLDS (universe, ages) were FRAMED and CREATED [FORMED, put in ORDER, and EQUIPPED for their intended PURPOSE] by THE WORD of God” 
    Application: FAITH is ACTING correspondingly to what you BELIEVE of God’s WORD in that CONTEXT. Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfil the desires of the flesh. 
    Galatians 5:16, 25 — “WALK habitually in the Spirit… If we [claim to] LIVE by the Spirit, we must also WALK by the Spirit”[Holy]
    JESUS MODELLED IT: DO THEN TEACH
    Jesus began both to DO andTEACH, and continued it until heaven. 
    Acts 1:1-3 — “Jesus began both to DO and TEACH, UNTIL THE DAY IN WHICH HE WAS TAKEN UP… SHEWED himself alive after his passion by many INFALLIBLE PROOFS” 
    He knew the power of DOING to exemplify and to authenticate what He taught. Signs and wonders followed because God APPROVED Him. 
    Acts 2:22 — “Jesus of Nazareth, a man APPROVED of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you”
    GOD AND ANGELS RESPOND TO THE WORD, NOT TO NOISE
    When the Apostles went forth DOING THE WORD, the Lord CONFIRMED THE WORD with signs.
    Mark 16:20 — “And they WENT FORTH, and PREACHED every where, the Lord working with them, and CONFIRMING THE WORD WITH SIGNS FOLLOWING” 
    God does not confirm titles, status or hype — He confirms HIS WORD. 
    Ministering angels also only act by THE WORD. 
    Psalms 103:20 — “Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that DO his commandments, HEARKENING unto the VOICE of his WORD” 
    Hebrews 1:14 — “Are they not all MINISTERING spirits, sent forth to MINISTER for them who shall be HEIRS of salvation?” 
  1. AN IMPORTANT MANDATE: BE COMMENDED TO THE WORD OF HIS GRACE
    Dr Luke’s admonition in Acts is that THE WORD builds us and gives inheritance.
    Acts 20:32 — “And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD of his grace, which is able to BUILD you up, and to give you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED” 
    To personify THE WORD is to invite God to show up and honour His WORD in your life. 
  1. REALITIES FOR THE WORD DOER
    You Change Atmospheres — Doing THE WORD creates the atmosphere you want to see and enjoy. 
    You Are Built and You Prosper — Like a tree planted by rivers, “WHATSOEVER HE DOETH SHALL PROSPER” — Psalms 1:1-3 
    You Carry Divine Approval — God works with you and confirms THE WORD. 
    You Are A Witness — I am a living witness: THE WORD WORKS when you DO it. 
    You Walk in BLESSEDNESS — Not just blessed, but BLESSED INDEED in Christ Jesus’ stead. 
  1. A WORD TO THE HEARER
    Stop making NOISE without WALKING. Step into your world with intent to DO THE WORD in life and grace.
    BE A DOER OF THE WORD FOR THE WORD WORKS IN LIFE AND GRACE IN CHRIST JESUS’ STEAD. AMEN. 

IN ONE SENTENCE: 

BE THE WORD DOER, because only those who HEAR and DO THE WORD — Christ personified — are BLESSED INDEED, and it is THE WORD they carry that God and angels will honour with power, proof and prosperity.
