WHEN YOU PRAY – PRAY IN WISDOM

April 18, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

WHEN YOU PRAY – PRAY IN WISDOM: God Will Only ANSWER To EMPOWER A PURPOSEFUL Demand!

“Call unto me, and I will ANSWER thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not” Jeremiah 33:3.

The kingdom of God is not wishy-washy or either this or that, in order to appeal to sentiments and self-seeking satisfaction in our circumstances. For our God is a God of ORDER and DECENCY (1 Corinthians 14:40; 1 Timothy 3:15; Titus 1:5); and He will only COMMEND what He COMMAND.

For example, PRAYER is not a case of demanding from God either of His PURPOSE or His POWER, and in reverse, of His POWER or His PURPOSE. PURPOSE speaks of assignment, opportunity and CAUSE to accomplish while POWER speaks of the ENABLING – ENDOWMENT – to accomplish the assigned PURPOSE; and that means, you can’t accomplish PURPOSE with God, without His gracious enabling – endowment – POWER; also, you can’t crave in PRAYER for God’s gracious and enabling POWER for a no PURPOSE – ASSIGNMENT or CAUSES – for it to accomplish. Therefore, you need to SELAH – PAUSE and THINK.

And as a child of God, this INTENT of PURPOSEFUL demand of God into your life, is applicable whether is to your – education, career, business, ministry, family, marriage, relationship, finance, leadership, politics, governance and such like more. This is the reason why many so-called – PRAYERS and FASTING – are unwarranted and unnecessary; it’s because they are PURPOSELESSLY driven with the intent of solely seeking POWER or OPPORTUNITY for nothing. God doesn’t ANSWER a – PURPOSELESS REQUEST and POWERLESS DEMAND – no matter the noise and emotional sentiments we endeavour to make of it; this important to note, especially considering how much rigorous devotion of time we claim to be doing sometimes in respect to PRAYERS and FASTING and NIGHT VIGILS; and all these being done or that we do or are doing to accompany such activity or activities, is in order to get an ANSWER and yet are not forth coming or happening as we earnestly request and crave after.

So, watch out HOW you pray; it’s not just enough when a Minister lays hand and pours ointment on you and declare breakthroughs means an end; you need to reconcile matters of GRACIOUS POWER DEMAND to the accompanying PURPOSE – ASSIGNMENT, for such. Otherwise, after few days or weeks or months, you will find yourself back to zero point again and in delusion as many have called my attention to such matters. Hence, I ask you today – Is that God’s will and intent for the New Testament and His Covenant Church in Christ Jesus? And I say NO and NO!

It’s only when PURPOSE are right, then the accompanying POWER (the rights, capacity, opportunity) then works TOGETHER for the good of you and to ensure that you have the MEANINGFUL FULFILMENT with God. That’s why we must take heed to God’s assignment in our life and not do a wishy-washy attitude with it if we intend having our altitude of grace by God’s APPROVAL and not man’s APPLAUD – (Colossians 4:17; 2 Timothy 2:15; Acts 2:22; Romans 8:28).

Our perfect example on matter of the subjects in discussion is in our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. In His humanity, He was graciously LED of the Holy Spirit, meaning it’s not a self-show off to FAST and PRAY as some may do to indicate spiritual classification. He returned with the POWER of the Holy Spirit accompanying the set PURPOSE of God – the empowering or empowerment of the Holy Spirit which He laid out in the synagogue Services immediately for all to bear Him record – Luke 4:1-2, 14, 16-22. He lived through humanity in that CAUSE or PURPOSE and POWER with meaningful fulfillment of God’s intent for humanity. And I can say in His stead, that in same-like scenario, you can do life with God in all phases of your life, be it in – education, career, business, ministry, family, marriage, relationship, finance, leadership, politics, governance and such like.

Make your PRAYERS count and account for your good – meaningfully and in fulfilment. And PRAYERS can only COUNT and ACCOUNT for one’s own good, when done intentionally and as led by the Holy Spirit and by the WORD, in reconciling POWER demand with PURPOSE from God.

So, PAUSE and THINK – SELAH!

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Call unto me, and I will ANSWER thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not” Jeremiah 33:3.

“Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed. 2 O thou that HEAREST prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come” Psalms 65:1-2.

“Let all things be done DECENTLY and in ORDER” 1 Corinthians 14:40.

“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this PURPOSE the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” 1 John 3:8.

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. TO THIS END WAS I BORN, AND FOR THIS CAUSE CAME I INTO THE WORLD, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice” John 18:37.

“. . . 14 And Jesus returned in THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about . . . 18 The Spirit of the Lord is UPON ME, BECAUSE HE HATH ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised . . .” Luke 4:1-22.

“And we know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER for good to them that love God, to them who are the CALLED according to his PURPOSE” Romans 8:28.

“Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, A MAN APPROVED of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know” Acts 2:22.

“And say to Archippus, TAKE HEED TO THE MINISTRY which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou FULFIL it” Colossians 4:17.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises the importance of praying with purpose and wisdom, highlighting that God only answers prayers that align with His purpose and empower believers to fulfill their assignments. It warns against purposeless prayers and fasting, which are driven by self-seeking motives rather than a genuine desire to serve God’s purpose.

Key points:

  • God answers prayers that are purposeful and aligned with His will (Jeremiah 33:3).
  • Prayers should be driven by a desire to fulfill God’s purpose, not just seeking power or opportunity (1 Corinthians 14:40, 1 Timothy 3:15, Titus 1:5).
  • Purpose and power are intertwined; one cannot accomplish God’s purpose without His enabling power (Luke 4:1-2, 14, 16-22).
  • Believers should take heed of God’s assignment in their lives and avoid a wishy-washy attitude (Colossians 4:17, 2 Timothy 2:15, Acts 2:22, Romans 8:28).
  • Jesus Christ is the perfect example of living a purposeful life, empowered by the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:1-22).
  • Prayers should be intentional, led by the Holy Spirit, and aligned with God’s Word (Psalms 65:1-2).

The message encourages believers to pause and think about their prayer life, ensuring that their prayers are purposeful and aligned with God’s will.

LIVING FOR A PURPOSE

April 18, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

LIVING FOR A PURPOSE: THAT’S WHAT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE WITH GOD IN US IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD!

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the CALLED according to his PURPOSE” Romans 8:28.

You can only live a fulfilling life for a purpose, when you know and understand what your worth is, by God in Christ Jesus. [Romans 8:28; Ephesians 1:11; Ecclesiastes 3:1 (1-11)]; and for what you are created and made to be of God in Christ Jesus.

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast CREATED all things, and for THY PLEASURE they are and were created” Revelations 4:12.

“For BY HIM were all things CREATED, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM, AND FOR HIM” Colossians 1:16.

Some live in a small-minded world that’s full of self; and all they do is talking, oppressing, controlling, dehumanising, and analysing people, hence these groups are small-minded people in worth. While there are some who live with a larger- at -heart mindset – and for them, rather than wasting time on irrelevant matters like the small-minded people, they live beyond walls of difference in SELFLESS LOVE, SELFLESS HOPE and SELFLESS FAITH – reaching out and touching lives for their good and goodness – and are often burning with flames in them for the good CAUSES of God for others with their God-given resources of – TIME, FINANCE, MATERIAL [DEVICE], PEOPLE, EFFORT [SKILLS/TALENTS].

And until you come to know, understand and realise that you are created and made purely for the good of God’s PURPOSE and everything about you is of and for God CAUSES, you will be living for self and sentiments in small minds and small worlds.

“There is a SEASON (A TIME APPOINTED) for everything and a time for every delight and event or PURPOSE under heaven . . . 11 He has MADE everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted ETERNITY [a sense of DIVINE PURPOSE] in the human HEART [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end” Ecclesiastes 3:1, 11 (1-11).

Therefore, think and change for a good cause and become an agent of greater change, making a difference for the good of others beyond borders; and irrespective of class, gender, colour, culture and tongue.

Life WORTH is about living – firstly, with a selfless FAITH, HOPE And LOVE – and secondly, toward advancing the Kingdom causes of God – and thirdly, in keeping the Enemy and Cohorts at bay, for the good of others.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a PLAN] for good for those who love God, to those who are CALLED according to His PLAN and PURPOSE” Romans 8:28/AMP.

“In Him also we have received an inheritance [a destiny—we were claimed by God as His own], having been PREDESTINED (chosen, appointed beforehand) according to the PURPOSE of Him who works everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His will, 12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ [who first put our confidence in Him as our Lord and Savior] would exist to the praise of His glory” Ephesians 1:11-12/AMP.

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this CAUSE came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice” John 18:37.

“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this PURPOSE the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” 1 John 3:8.

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast CREATED all things, and for THY PLEASURE they are and were created” Revelations 4:12.

“For BY HIM were all things CREATED, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dom inions, or principalities, or powers: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM, AND FOR HIM” Colossians 1:16.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises the importance of living for a purpose, as stated in Romans 8:28, “all things work together for good to them that love God, to those who are the CALLED according to his PURPOSE”. It highlights that knowing one’s worth and purpose in Christ Jesus is crucial to living a fulfilling life.

Key points:

  • Believers are created and made for God’s purpose and pleasure (Revelations 4:12, Colossians 1:16).
  • Some people live in a small-minded world focused on self, while others live with a larger-at-heart mindset, demonstrating selfless love, hope, and faith (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 11).
  • To live a purposeful life, one must recognise their creation and destiny in Christ Jesus and align themselves with God’s causes.
  • Living for a purpose involves having selfless faith, hope, and love, advancing God’s kingdom, and keeping the enemy at bay.
  • The message encourages believers to think and change, becoming agents of greater change, making a difference for others beyond borders and differences.

The message cites scriptures to emphasise God’s purpose and plan for believers, urging them to live a life that reflects their worth and purpose in Christ Jesus.

AFD MAY 2026

May 1, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

WELCOME [GREETINGS] TO MONTH MAY 2026 THEME: MONTH ENTITLED – THE GOD OF REMEMBRANCE! “Doing EXPLOITS Worthy Of REMEMBRANCE In The Grace”

Welcome to Month May 2026, the fifth month of the Gregorian and Julian calendar months with thirty-one days. A month which is themed to enhance the achiever’s essence of being FAITHFUL and doing exploits that’s worthy of REMEMBRANCE in all of life’s labour in the grace. For our God is the God of remembrance in the grace, as seen in these but not limited in these scriptural contexts, as it is written:

“Then they that FEARED [REVERENCE] the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of REMEMBRANCE was written before him for them that feared [reverence] the LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that SERVETH God and him that SERVETH him not” Malachi 3:16-18.

“But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner.  10 For God is NOT UNJUST [UNFAITHFUL, UNRIGHTEOUS, UNTHANKFUL] to forget your WORK and LABOUR OF LOVE which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises” Hebrews 6:9-12/NKJV/Emphasis Mine.

Shalom and kingdom greetings in the precious name of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

It gives me great pleasure and joy to welcome you into the month of MAY 2026 of the Achievers’ FAITH Digest edition, as we consider and take stock of our lives in many areas following the commemoration and celebration of our Redemption in the month of April.

Now it is our time to launch out by taking the step of faith in the grace, to make manifest the essence of our redemption instead of remaining complacent – that is, in a disposition or tendency to yield to the will of others instead of aligning with the redemptive work of God in Christ Jesus in the grace.

For many, the events of life have battered them, coupled with various disappointments and failures from those they so much looked up to, causing them to seem derailed from the faith toward God in Christ Jesus, even within themselves. But this month’s theme is to reassure us of the God we serve – that He is the God of remembrance of all our exploits for good and for godly causes in the kingdom, in the faith, in the grace – as written in the scriptures of Hebrews 6:9-12, Malachi 3:16-18, and 1 Thessalonians 1:3-5, and other such scriptures.

The essence of this month’s theme is to stir you to wake up and make no excuses for losing out in the grace of our God because of someone else’s misbehaviour. Do not be derailed; rather, stay focused on becoming all that God has ordained for you in the grace through your redemptive knowledge of Him.

I therefore welcome you specially to this month of MAY 2026 theme, as we examine the essence of: THE GOD OF REMEMBRANCE! “Doing EXPLOITS Worthy of REMEMBRANCE In the Grace”.

It is my earnest desire that in this month you will receive inspiration, revelation, and empowerment that will activate the graces of God to build your life and faith in God in Christ Jesus, as you do things worthy of remembrance in the grace.

I pray that as we begin to unfold the graces of God in the light of this theme, you will find inspiration, revelation, and empowerment in this edition of: THE GOD OF REMEMBRANCE! “Doing EXPLOITS Worthy of REMEMBRANCE In the Grace”.

And may our God help you, in the course of this writing on the theme, to find a place in His heart – to record your name and make a memorial of you – in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Therefore, as written in Ecclesiastes 9:10, maximise every single opportunity that comes your way to make an investment worthy of remembrance – be it in relationships, business, career, marriage, finance, talent, time, physique, ideals, and such like – as you may be led by the Holy Spirit through the Word of God, doing it with all the grace of faith within you.

This is an achiever’s opportunity to create a remarkable imprint in life by God in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

In the course of the month, the theme will be explored and hopefully, you will see a reason to do exploits worthy of remembrance in the grace.

I wish you God’s grace, wisdom and speed in His BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN THE CONTEXT:

“Then they that FEARED [REVERENCE] the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of REMEMBRANCE was written before him for them that FEARED [REVERENCE] the LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and DISCERN between the RIGHTEOUS and the wicked, between him that SERVETH God and him that SERVETH Him not” Malachi 3:16-8.

“We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, 3 remembering without ceasing your WORK OF FAITH, LABOR OF LOVE, and PATIENCE OF HOPE in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, 4 knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God. 5 For our gospel did not come to you in WORD only, but also in POWER, and in the HOLY SPIRIT and in MUCH ASSURANCE, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake” 1 Thessalonians 1:2-5/NKJV/Emphasis Mine.

“. . . but the people that do KNOW their God shall be STRONG, and do EXPLOITS” Daniel 11:32.

“Then they that FEARED [REVERENCE] the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and A BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE was written before Him for them that FEARED the LORD, and that thought upon His name.

“Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, 7 there came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. 8 But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what PURPOSE is this waste? 9. For this OINTMENT might have been sold for much, and GIVEN to the POOR. 10 When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me. 11 For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. 12 For in that she hath poured this OINTMENT on my body, she did it for my burial. 13 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a MEMORIAL of her” Matthew 26:6-13.

“In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.’ 2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, 3 and said, “REMEMBER now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what is good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. 4 And the word of the Lord came to Isaiah, saying, 5 “Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years. 6 I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city.” ’ 7 And this is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing which He has spoken: 8 Behold, I will bring the shadow on the sundial, which has gone down with the sun on the sundial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward.” So the sun returned ten degrees on the dial by which it had gone down. 9 This is the writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick and had recovered from his sickness: 10 I said, “In the prime of my life I shall go to the gates of Sheol; I am deprived of the remainder of my years.” 11 I said, “I shall not see Yah, The Lord in the land of the living; I shall observe man no more among the inhabitants of the world. 12 My life span is gone, Taken from me like a shepherd’s tent; I have cut off my life like a weaver. He cuts me off from the loom; From day until night You make an end of me. 13 I have considered until morning— Like a lion, So He breaks all my bones; From day until night You make an end of me. 14 Like a crane or a swallow, so I chattered; I mourned like a dove; My eyes fail from looking upward. O Lord, I am oppressed; Undertake for me! 15 “What shall I say? He has both spoken to me, And He Himself has done it. I shall walk carefully all my years In the bitterness of my soul. 16 O Lord, by these things men live; And in all these things is the life of my spirit; So You will restore me and make me live. 17 Indeed it was for my own peace  That I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back. 18 For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth. 19 The living, the living man, he shall praise You, As I do this day; The father shall make known Your truth to the children. 20 “The Lord was ready to save me; Therefore we will sing my songs with stringed instruments All the days of our life, in the house of the Lord.” 21 Now Isaiah had said, “Let them take a LUMP OF FIGS, and APPLY it as a POULTICE on the boil, and he shall RECOVER.” 22 And Hezekiah had said, “What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of the Lord?”  Isaiah 38:1-22 [2 Kings 20:1-11].

SUMMARY:

The message is a welcome note for the month of May 2026, themed “The God of Remembrance”. It emphasises the importance of doing exploits worthy of remembrance in the grace of God. The message encourages believers to stay focused on their faith and not be derailed by disappointments or failures.

Key points:

  • God is the God of remembrance, and He remembers the exploits of those who fear and serve Him (Malachi 3:16-18, Hebrews 6:9-12).
  • Believers are called to do exploits worthy of remembrance in the grace, demonstrating their faith, love, and patience (1 Thessalonians 1:3-5, Daniel 11:32).
  • God is not unfaithful to forget the work and labour of love shown by believers (Hebrews 6:9-12).
  • The message encourages believers to maximise their opportunities, doing things that will be remembered by God and others (Ecclesiastes 9:10, Matthew 26:6-13).
  • Hezekiah’s story is an example of God’s remembrance and restoration (Isaiah 38:1-22).

The message urges believers to stay diligent, imitating those who inherit promises through faith and patience. It encourages readers to seek inspiration, revelation, and empowerment to do exploit worthy of remembrance in the grace.

Overall, the message is a call to action, reminding believers of God’s faithfulness and encouraging them to live a life that honors Him.

REDEMPTION DEED – The Greatest Unifying Union

April 18, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

REDEMPTION DEED – The Greatest Unifying Union – The Holy COMMUNION: The Bread and The Wine – ENACTING THE PASSOVER!

“. . . 14 And this day shall be unto you for a MEMORIAL; and ye shall KEEP IT A FEAST to the Lord throughout your generations; ye shall KEEP IT A FEAST by an ORDINANCE for ever . . .” Exodus 12:1-51.

“. . . 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the NEW TESTAMENT in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in REMEMBRANCE of me. 26 For AS OFTEN AS ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, YE DO SHEW THE LORD’S DEATH TILL HE COME . . .” 1 Corinthians 11:17-34.

The act of the REDEMPTION DEED of God in Christ Jesus has brought about the greatest unifying union of any kind thereby ENACTING THE PASSOVER. This act is the Holy Communion which embodied – The Bread as the Body of Christ, and The Cup – The Wine, the Blood of Christ being sacrificed for our PASSOVER from death unto life.

And graciously and gracefully, this REDEMPTION DEED act of grace, bares no Adamic nature in order to authentic the legality and vitality of our REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus. And as it’s powerful and gracious in the physical, so much the more it is in the spiritual. Hence Jesus at the cross said – IT IS FINISHED – meaning an end to Adamic NATURE and EFFECT by the REDEMPTION DEED. Hence the NEW CREATION in Christ Jesus has NO PAST. All things have become NEW – 2 Corinthians 5:17.

We can now have our lost RELATIONSHIP and FELLOWSHIP with God in Adam reclaimed and restored in the fulness of REDEMPTION. For the Two reasons – RELATIONSHIP and FELLOWSHIP – we can celebrate and commemorate in the Holy Communion that enacts and authenticates the CRUCIFIXION and DEATH, BURIAL and RESURRECTION, ASCENSION and ENTHRONEMENT of Christ Jesus, who is our Saviour-King & Lord. Amen.

And we celebrate and commemorate Him simply for these:

  • OUR SIN FORGIVEN, ACQUITTED AND RECEIVED – means Our RELATIONSHIP with God reclaimed and restored. No more sacrifices of the flesh. For we’ve been JUSTIFIED – Romans 5:1-2.
  • OUR ACCESS ASSURED & GUARANTEED – means Our acts of FELLOWSHIP (COMMUNION) with God reclaimed and restored. No more middle person failing man any more on our behalf – 1 Timothy 2:5-6; Acts 4:12. We’ve been DELIVERED & TRANSLATED – Colossians 1:1-21; Ephesians 1:1-14.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“. . . For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took BREAD: 24 and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my BODY, which is broken for you: this do in REMEMBRANCE of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the CUP, when he had supped, saying, This CUP is the NEW TESTAMENT in my BLOOD: this do ye, as OFT as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye EAT this BREAD, and DRINK this CUP, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come . . .” 1 Corinthians 11: 17-34.

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and BLESSED it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27 And he took the cup, and gave THANKS, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 for this is my blood of the NEW TESTAMENT, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom” Matthew 26:26-29.

Further Scriptural Reading: Hebrews 9:11-16; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 6:41-58; Luke 22:1-20; 2 Corinthians 13:14. Exodus 12.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises the significance of the Holy Communion, a unifying union that enacts the Passover, symbolising the redemption deed of God in Christ Jesus. The Bread and Wine represent the Body and Blood of Christ, sacrificed for humanity’s redemption.

Key points:

  • The Holy Communion is a memorial feast, instituted by Jesus, to remember His death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and enthronement (Exodus 12:1-51, 1 Corinthians 11:17-34).
  • The redemption deed has brought about a new creation in Christ Jesus, with no past, and all things becoming new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
  • The Communion reclaims and restores the lost relationship and fellowship with God, allowing believers to celebrate and commemorate Christ’s sacrifice (Romans 5:1-2, 1 Timothy 2:5-6, Acts 4:12).
  • Through the Communion, believers remember Christ’s body broken and blood shed for sin forgiveness, and celebrate their justification, access to God, and deliverance (1 Corinthians 11:17-34, Matthew 26:26-29).
  • The message encourages believers to participate in the Holy Communion, embracing its significance and power in their lives.

The message highlights the importance of understanding the Holy Communion as a symbol of God’s redemption deed and encourages believers to celebrate and commemorate it with gratitude and reverence.

THE EFFICACIOUS BLOOD OF THE LAMB: THE DNA OF TRIUMPH!

April 17, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE EFFICACIOUS BLOOD OF THE LAMB: THE DNA OF TRIUMPH!

“AND THEY OVERCAME HIM BY THE BLOOD of THE LAMB, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death” Revelation 12:11.

Thanks to God for the Blood of the Lamb! The scriptures tell us that the Lamb of God is Jesus Christ. He is the one who was slain and who shed His Blood for our triumph and victory in life. The Blood of Jesus is the grand finale to answer and deal with all the issues of life. It is by the Blood of the Lamb in a figure of the Christ that is to come, that the first Church – the Israelites’ – obtained their deliverance from the bondage and rigour of the land of Egypt. And by the Blood of the Lamb effect, they also obtained their prosperity as they obtained their deliverance by the blood of the lamb – Psalm 105:37-38; Exodus 12:29-36. The Blood of the lamb is the verdict, antidote and onslaught that can end the perpetrated works and activities of satan and cohort’s pursuit in the life of all mankind, especially in those where demonic sacrifice and dedications have taken root.

The Blood of the Lamb is the flag bearer, banner and signpost that can thwart, divert and end all the fiery darts and works of the enemy of our joy in our FAITH. The Blood of the Lamb is the Highway Code and traffic control board to all that wants to get into your life. It indicates red light and diverts all the satanic and cohorts’ advances and gives green light to all about God concerning you in life and godliness. There is no amber light for standstill; it’s either red to divert or green to welcome in and allow all goodness to go through into your life.

The Blood of the Lamb – Christ Jesus – is the DNA of your life of TRIUMPH. Where there is No Blood of Christ – There is No TRIUMPH! For whatever is not of the Blood is not of God says the Holy Scriptures. There is power in the Blood. The efficacy of the Blood is what satan and cohorts cannot fathom. It is the final cure for his grip on me and you. The Blood has delivered me and you, set my family and yours free from the grips of satanic bondage. When you daily activate the Blood as your default browser, your daily triumph becomes certain. You need to ensure, insure, secure, and authenticate the vitality and legality of your life, faith and works of your hand by the Blood if you do not want the enemy and his cohorts to encroach into all your life plans, purpose, and pursuit. The Blood is your DNA of TRIUMPH.

The efficacious Blood of the Lamb – Jesus Christ, is the DNA of TRIUMPH over all – and you should never forget about it now and ever.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: YET NOT THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD, NOR OF THE PRINCES OF THIS WORLD, THAT COME TO NOUGHT: 7 but we speak THE WISDOM of God in a mystery, even the HIDDEN WISDOM, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 WHICH NONE OF THE PRINCES OF THIS WORLD KNEW: FOR HAD THEY KNOWN IT, THEY WOULD NOT HAVE CRUCIFIED THE LORD OF GLORY” 1 Corinthians 2:6-8.

“For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. AND THE BLOOD SHALL BE TO YOU FOR A TOKEN UPON THE HOUSES WHERE YE ARE: AND WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I WILL PASS OVER YOU, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt” Exodus 12:12-13.

“He brought them forth also with silver and gold: AND THERE WAS NOT ONE FEEBLE PERSON AMONG THEIR TRIBES. Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them” Psalm 105:37-38.

“AND THEY OVERCAME HIM BY THE BLOOD of THE LAMB, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death” Revelation 12:11.

“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD, WHICH TAKETH AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me” John 1:29-30.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises the power and significance of the Blood of Jesus Christ, referred to as “THE EFFICACIOUS BLOOD OF THE LAMB”. It highlights the Blood’s role in bringing triumph, victory, and deliverance to believers.

Key points:

  • The Blood of Jesus is the grand finale that answers and deals with all life’s issues, providing deliverance from bondage and satanic grip (Revelation 12:11, Exodus 12:29-36).
  • The Blood is the verdict, antidote, and onslaught that ends satanic works and activities, thwarting enemy advances and giving green light to God’s goodness (Psalm 105:37-38).
  • The Blood is the DNA of triumph, and without it, there is no triumph (1 Corinthians 2:6-8).
  • Believers are encouraged to daily activate the Blood as their default browser, securing their life, faith, and works, and ensuring daily triumph.
  • The Blood efficacy is beyond satanic understanding, and it’s the final cure for satanic grip (Exodus 12:12-13).
  • The message urges believers to remember the power of the Blood and its significance in their lives, citing scriptural references (Revelation 12:11, John 1:29-30).

The message concludes by emphasising the Blood role in bringing triumph and victory, encouraging believers to rely on its power and efficacy.

LIVING BY THE HIGHER LAW

April 17, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

LIVING BY THE HIGHER LAW: THE LAW THAT SETS ONE UP IN GRACE AND MAKES ONE LIVE INDEED IN FREEDOM!

“There is therefore NOW NO CONDEMNATION to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not WALK according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the LAW of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has MADE me FREE from the LAW of SIN and DEATH” Romans 8:1-2

In Christ Jesus, No CONDEMNATION means – No CONDEMNATION. GOD is bound by His WORD. NO CONDEMNATION means freedom from self-condemnation, the condemnation of demonic power and cohorts, the condemnation resulting from religion and religiosity, traditional dogmas, self-righteousness, denominational indoctrination, religious finger pointing and more of such like.

“. . . 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw NONE but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, WHERE ARE THOSE THINE ACCUSERS? hath no man CONDEMNED thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, NEITHER DO I CONDEMN THEE: GO, and SIN NO MORE” John 8:1-11

It’s true that by the LAW OF GRAVITY, there’s the downward pulling forces, such that when an object is thrown up, it falls by the gravitational pull. And it’s also true that by the LAW OF UPTHRUST – aircrafts overcome gravitational pull and the ship floats and experiences the buoyancy in water bodies to gain upthrust to move about safely. In same scenario, it’s high time to live FREE, enjoy true FREEDOM indeed that’s in Christ Jesus stead by the HIGHER LAW that overrides the natural laws of limitations and setbacks and failures; and these onward and upward trajectory leverage it, irrespective of your past history of limitations, setbacks, and failures. Once you are in Christ Jesus, your NEW DAY and NEW DAWN path to doing life and living godly has come, in essence, to God’s glory and praise. Amen.

“It was for this FREEDOM that Christ SET US FREE [COMPLETELY LIBERATING us]; therefore KEEP STANDING FIRM and do not be SUBJECT again to a YOKE OF SLAVERY [which you once removed]” Galatians 5:1/AMP.

“But the PATH of the just (righteous) is like the LIGHT OF DAWN, that SHINES BRIGHTER and BRIGHTER until [it reaches its FULL STRENGTH and GLORY in] the PERFECT [COMPLETE, WHOLE, FULNESS, MATURE] day” Proverbs 4:18/AMP.

When you know you are in Christ Jesus, it thus indicates a much more HIGHER LAWS is in operations in you. The HIGHER LAW – is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus that dwells in you – and it gives one freedom for an onward and upward trajectory to gain leverage from the law of sin and death, which includes all forms of bondages, fears, condemnations, such like and more. [Romans 8:1-2].

It’s my earnest PRAYER that you take advantage of the NEW CREATION of God in Christ Jesus, and live to enjoy daily the freedom that God has offered you in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. [2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Galatians 6:14-16].

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“There is therefore NOW NO CONDEMNATION to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the LAW of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has MADE me free from the LAW of sin and death” Romans 8:1-2.

“And they that are Christ’s have CRUCIFIED the FLESH with the AFFECTIONS and LUSTS. 25 If we LIVE in the Spirit, let us also WALK in the Spirit” Galatians 5:24-25.

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to TRIUMPH in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place” 2 Corinthians 2:14.

“As he spake these words, many BELIEVED on him. 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which BELIEVED on him, If ye CONTINUE IN MY WORD, then are ye MY DISCIPLES INDEED; 32 and ye shall KNOW THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH shall MAKE you FREE” John 8:30-32.

“But ye are NOT in the FLESH, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is NONE of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead DWELL in you, he that RAISED up Christ from the dead shall also QUICKEN your MORTAL BODIES by his Spirit that DWELLETH in you” Romans 8:9-11.

“Forasmuch then as the children are PARTAKERS of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise TOOK PART OF THE SAME; that through DEATH he might DESTROY him that had the POWER of death, that is, the devil; 15 and DELIVER them who through FEAR of DEATH were all their LIFETIME SUBJECT to BONDAGE” Hebrews 2:14-15.

“GRACE be to you and PEACE from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who GAVE himself for our SINS, that he might DELIVER us from this PRESENT evil world, according to the WILL of God and our Father: 5 to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” Galatians 1:3-5.

“Therefore, if ANYONE IS IN CHRIST, he is a NEW CREATION; old things have passed away; behold, ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not [a]imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are AMBASSADORS for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might BECOME the righteousness of God in Him” 2 Corinthians 5:17-21/NKJV.

“But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by [a]whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a NEW CREATION. 16 And as many as WALK ACCORDING TO THIS RULE, PEACE and MERCY be upon them, and upon the Israel of God” Galatians 6:14-16/NKJV.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises the concept of living by the “Higher Law” of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which sets believers free from condemnation, sin, and death (Romans 8:1-2). This Higher Law overrides the natural laws of limitations, setbacks, and failures, enabling believers to live in freedom, triumph, and victory.

Key points:

  • In Christ Jesus, there is no condemnation, meaning freedom from self-condemnation, demonic condemnation, and religious condemnation (John 8:1-11, Romans 8:1-2).
  • The Higher Law of the Spirit of life gives believers freedom from the law of sin and death, including bondages, fears, and limitations (Romans 8:1-2).
  • Believers are new creations in Christ Jesus, and their new day and new dawn path to living godly has come (2 Corinthians 5:17-21, Galatians 6:14-16).
  • To live in this freedom, believers must walk according to the Spirit, crucify the flesh, and continue in God’s Word (Galatians 5:24-25, John 8:30-32).
  • The Higher Law enables believers to overcome gravitational pulls of sin and limitations, just like aircraft overcome gravity and ships experience buoyancy in water (Romans 8:1-2).
  • Believers are ambassadors of Christ, reconciled to God, and empowered to live in triumph and victory (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).

The message encourages believers to take advantage of their new creation in Christ Jesus and live in the freedom, peace, and mercy that God has offered them.

ENSURING AN ENDURING POSSESSIONS IN REDEMPTION

April 17, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

ENSURING AN ENDURING POSSESSIONS IN REDEMPTION: THE NEEDFUL ACTS TO MAINTAIN AND SUSTAIN THE BLESSEDNESS!

“And WINE that maketh GLAD the heart of man, and OIL to make his face to SHINE, and BREAD which STRENGTHENETH man’s heart” Psalms 104:15.

“The BLESSING of the Lord, it MAKETH RICH, and he ADDETH NO SORROW with it” Proverbs 10:22.

In REDEMPTION, we are BLESSED of God in Christ Jesus. The essence of God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus is to ensure that in our assured redemption, that we can be able to: live a meaningful, purposeful and Fulfilling life and more; and to also live WITHOUT Sorrow, Regret and Mishaps.

And it’s one thing to be BLESSED of God in Christ Jesus, it’s another thing to KNOW that you’ve been BLESSED in order to enact and authenticate it into a daily reality in life and godliness in Christ Jesus; and it’s another thing also to know the how to MAINTAIN and SUSTAIN the BLESSEDNESS of being BLESSED in REDEMPTION without sorrow and regrets and such like accordingly.

“BLESSED be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath BLESSED us with all spiritual BLESSINGS in heavenly places in Christ” Ephesians 1:3.

“The BLESSING of the Lord, it MAKETH RICH, and he ADDETH NO SORROW with it” Proverbs 10:22.

And to be BLESSED, means to be EMPOWERED with the ENABLING of God’s good and goodness, graciousness and gracefulness in order to – SUCCEED, EXCEL, ACHIEVE, BECOME, CREATE, INITIATE, EXPLORE and INNOVATE, in Christ Jesus stead. It thus means that the BLESSING of God in ESSENCE – is not PHYSICAL in terms of – [Car, property, Finance and such like; but it’s SPIRITUAL] – and it’s the endowed enabling of God received in our REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus – and that’s what helps one in grace to acquire or bring into reality and tangibility, the physical things we do need to enhance life in grace, such as – Car, Property, Finance and such like.

The knowing of the above difference, in terms of what the blessing of God is, and is not, helps to ensure and assure how the BLESSEDNESS of redemption becomes real and tangible, and makes our perspective and perception in prayers more connected to the HOW things of God do work for us from the SPIRITUAL to the PHYSICAL in MANIFESTATIONS and TANGIBILITY, and how we can unreservedly and uncompromisingly do LIFE and GODLINESS with God in Christ Jesus. Amen.

And to ensure an assured know-how, maintenance and sustenance of the BLESSEDNESS, one need to possess, meaning, not to lack any of the three ingredients that ensures the acts of doing LIFE and living GODLY; these acts in essence helps to make all things in grace to come into fruition – reality and tangibility – as in the Holy writs:

“And WINE that maketh GLAD the heart of man, and OIL to make his face to SHINE, and BREAD which STRENGTHENETH man’s heart” Psalms 104:15.

“Yea, the Lord will ANSWER and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you CORN, and WINE, and OIL, and ye shall be SATISFIED therewith: and I will no more make you a REPROACH among the heathen” Joel 2:19.

The three INGREDIENTS from the Holy writs to help ensure the assured durability through knowing to maintaining and sustaining the blessedness of God in the grace are:

  • The WINE – Speaks of The HOLY SPIRIT: The WINE will gladden one’s hearts – the human spirit being
  • The OIL – Speaks of The ANOINTING: The OIL will cause one’s face to shine and radiate the glorious presence of God’s ENDOWMENT and ENDUEMENT in one’s being.
  • The BREAD – Speaks of The WORD: The BREAD will STRENGTHEN one’s heart – the human spirit being, to meet the demands of doing life and living godly of God in Christ Jesus.

And when the above mentioned three endowments and enduement abide and abound in our day–to- day living, then doing LIFE and GODLINESS are done [enacted and authenticated] in grace with ease and in leisure, satisfaction, and purpose, which will result in the meaningful fulfilment we so much desire – way over, above and beyond the limiting elements of – stress, depression, pain , hurt, pressure, fear, complex and such like that hunt us.

IT’S TIME TO ENSURE YOUR ASSURED REDEMPTION DEED IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD BY THE THREE NEEDFULS AS MENTIONED

Know today that it’s one thing to be BLESSED – and it’s another thing to KNOW you’ve been BLESSED – and it’s another thing to MAINTAIN and SUSTAIN being BLESSED in REDEMPTION by God, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

I pray you make time today and even now, to crave for these enabling to be a part of your day-to-day living in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Be BLESSED!

SELAH – PAUSE And Think!

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“And WINE that maketh GLAD the heart of man, and OIL to make his face to SHINE, and BREAD which STRENGTHENETH man’s heart” Psalms 104:15.

“Yea, the Lord will ANSWER and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you CORN, and WINE, and OIL, and ye shall be SATISFIED therewith: and I will no more make you a REPROACH among the heathen” Joel 2:19.

“Let thy GARMENTS be ALWAYS WHITE; and let thy HEAD lack no OINTMENT” Ecclesiastes 9:8.

Further Scriptural Reading: 2 Peters 1:2-4; Ecclesiastes 9:8; Acts 2:1-21.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises the importance of understanding and possessing the blessedness of God in redemption, which is not just about physical blessings but spiritual empowerment. The blessedness of God enables believers to live a meaningful, purposeful, and fulfilling life without sorrow, regret, and mishaps.

Key points:

  • The blessedness of God is not just physical but spiritual, enabling believers to succeed, excel, achieve, and innovate in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3, Proverbs 10:22).
  • To maintain and sustain the blessedness, believers need to possess three key ingredients: the Wine (Holy Spirit), Oil (Anointing), and Bread (Word) (Psalms 104:15, Joel 2:19).

These ingredients help believers to:

  • Gladden their hearts (Holy Spirit)
  • Shine with God’s presence (Anointing)
  • Strengthen their hearts (Word)

When these ingredients abide and abound, believers can live a life of ease, satisfaction, and purpose, overcoming stress, depression, and other limiting elements.

Believers are encouraged to crave and possess these enabling elements in their day-to-day living, knowing they are blessed and empowered in Christ Jesus.

The message emphasises the importance of knowing, maintaining, and sustaining the blessedness of God, and encourages believers to pause and reflect on their redemption deed in Christ Jesus.

THE EFFICACIOUS BLOOD OF THE LAMB

April 17, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE EFFICACIOUS BLOOD OF THE LAMB: HAS POSITIONED US FOR TRIUMPH!

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to TRIUMPH in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place” 2 Corinthians 2:14.

“. . . 15 and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, TRIUMPHING over them in it” Colossians 2:6-15.

The blood of Christ is the ANTIDOTE and ONSLAUGHT to all the problems which affect your wellbeing – be it spiritual, physical, marital, emotional, financial, moral, mental health etc. Our God wants us to live a triumphant life from the PLACE – POSITION – He has made us to be in Him. That is, for us to reign and to rule in power and dominion on the ground of what Christ has DONE in and FOR us; and not from our SITUATIONS and CIRCUMSTANCES as we most times do and want God’s BLESSEDNESS in it. Our God will make all things beautiful for your situation when you stay in the POSITION wherein Christ has made you free in Him. Psalm 48:1-2; Romans 5:1-2; 5-8; 17-21.

The heroes of FAITH referred to in Hebrews chapter eleven, all overcame and triumphed by their faith testimony on the precious blood of the lamb which was slain for their redemption as well as ours from the foundation of the world as it’s written of them:

“And all that dwell upon the earth shall WORSHIP him . . . the LAMB slain from the FOUNDATION of the world” Revelation 13:8b.

They triumphed by their steadfast – unwavering – faith in and from the PLACE or POSITION in which their victory came – The blood of the Lamb.

“And they OVERCAME him by THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death” Revelation 12:11.

Therefore, see yourself from the position God has placed you in victory and triumph, and not from your place of defeat and failures. You ARE MORE THAN what you think you ARE in humanity when you have faith in what God, through His word in the redemption deed of Christ, speaks concerning you in Him.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED BY FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also we have ACCESS BY FAITH into THIS GRACE WHEREIN WE STAND, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God” Romans 5:1-2.

“That the communication (DECLARATION, SHARING, PROCLAMATION FELLOWSHIP) of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6.

“And hath RAISED US up together, and MADE US SIT together in HEAVENLY PLACES in Christ Jesus” Ephesians 2:6.

“And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 which he wrought in Christ, when he RAISED HIM from the dead, and SET HIM AT HIS OWN RIGHT HAND in the HEAVENLY PLACES, 21 far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come” Ephesians 1:19-21.

“BLESSED be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath BLESSED US with all spiritual blessings in HEAVENLY PLACES in Christ” Ephesians 1:3.

“As ye have therefore RECEIVED Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7 rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are COMPLETE in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 in whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, TRIUMPHING over them in it” Colossians 2:6-15.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises the power of the efficacious blood of the Lamb, which has positioned us for triumph in Christ Jesus. According to 2 Corinthians 2:14 and Colossians 2:6-15, we are caused to triumph in Christ, and the blood of Christ is the antidote to all problems affecting our wellbeing.

Key points:

  • The blood of Christ has positioned us for triumph and victory (2 Corinthians 2:14, Colossians 2:6-15).
  • We should see ourselves from God’s perspective, in victory and triumph, not from our place of defeat and failures.
  • We are more than what we think we are in humanity when we have faith in God’s word (Romans 5:1-2, Ephesians 1:3, 19-21).
  • The heroes of faith in Hebrews chapter eleven overcame and triumphed by their faith in the precious blood of the Lamb (Revelation 13:8b, Revelation 12:11).
  • We are justified by faith and have access to God’s grace, where we stand and rejoice in hope of God’s glory (Romans 5:1-2).
  • We are complete in Christ, seated with Him in heavenly places, and have all spiritual blessings (Ephesians 1:3, 19-21, Colossians 2:6-15).

The message encourages believers to:

  • See themselves from God’s perspective, in victory and triumph.
  • Have faith in God’s word and the redemption deed of Christ.
  • Stand in the position God has placed them, in Christ Jesus.
  • Rejoice in hope of God’s glory and declare God’s goodness.

Ultimately, the message is one of empowerment and encouragement, reminding believers of their position in Christ and the triumph they have through His blood

THE ESSENCE – THE NEED TO BELIEVE/BELIEVING IN THE FAITH

April 16, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE ESSENCE – THE NEED TO BELIEVE/BELIEVING IN THE FAITH: IN ORDER TO BECOME WHOM AND WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN THE FAITH IN THE STEAD OF CHRIST JESUS.

“But as many as RECEIVED Him, to them gave he power to BECOME the sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE ON His name: 13 which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” John 1:12-13.

The scripture gives an open check to all to come and RECEIVE Christ Jesus in their life in order to BECOME the sons of God. And this is accredited on the basis of the essence to see the need to BELIEVE in Him. For in Christ Jesus stead lies only the basis of the Faith to usher in any to BECOME the sons of God; and sons of God here indicates a non-gender, a basis of having the power [enabling, ability, capacity] to enact and authenticate authoritatively the rights and privileges in the redemption of God in Christ Jesus stead – STAND IN THE FAITH. Hence, there’s the need to BECOME WHOM and to BECOME WHAT you BELIEVE IN THE FAITH in the stead of Christ Jesus. [Romans 5:1-2]. And to have one BECOME WHOM and WHAT one BELIEVES of God in Christ Jesus stead is paramount IN THE FAITH as exemplified in the Matthew 9:27-30 scriptural context:

“And when Jesus departed thence, TWO BLIND MEN followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. 28 And when he was come into the house, THE BLIND MEN came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, BELIEVE YE THAT I AM ABLE TO DO THIS? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH BE IT UNTO YOU [BECOME “WHAT” YOU BELIEVE FOR AND “WHOM” YOU BELIEVE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN]. 30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it” Matthew 9:27-30/Emphasis Mine.

Jesus saying to the blind men – “ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH BE IT UNTO YOU”, thus means in essence to BECOME “WHAT” YOU BELIEVE FOR AND “WHOM” YOU BELIEVE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN to you, regardless and irrespective, and without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation by God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

Therefore, know and understand these contexts in scripture terms and use:

  1. BECOME WHOM YOU BELIEVE – [John 1:12-14, 17].
  2. BECOME WHAT YOU BELIEVE – [Matthew 9:28-29 (27-31)].

TWO DISTINCTION – TO BELIEVE ON HIM AND TO BELIEVE IN HIM:

There is two-mark Distinctions in respect to BELIEVE/BELIEVING in order to RECEIVE of God to BECOME what you believe and whom you believe. There’s the BELIEVING ON Him and the BELIEVING IN Him. You need to know that, to BELIEVE ON HIM and to BELIEVE IN Him, for the BLESSEDNESS of Him in this context, speaks of God’s graciousness that’s expressed and being expressed in Christ Jesus. In other words, BELIEVING ON Christ Jesus [ON HIS NAME] and BELIEVING IN Christ Jesus [IN HIS NAME] toward the Father God, is not the same but are both important in our REDEMPTION REALITIES of God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

TO BELIEVE/BELIEVING ON Christ Jesus [ON HIS NAME]:

For one to BELIEVE ON Christ Jesus [ON HIS NAME] toward God, is for one to BELIEVE on His WILL to SAVE one as SINNER from the clutches and bondages of sin and sinful living, in order to access and obtain the good and goodness of God, for one’s own SALVATION in HIM. [1 John 3:23; John 1:12-13; John 3:18; Acts 16:30-34; John 12:46; 1 John 3:23].

[b] TO BELIEVE/BELIEVING IN CHRIST JESUS [IN HIS NAME]:

For one to BELIEVE IN Christ Jesus [IN HIS NAME], thus means to believe in His ability – the ENABLING POWER in the SERVICE of the Kingdom to advance and to keep the enemy at bay; this is about and toward a BELIEVER receiving the POWER of God for God’s Kingdom services – a sphere, wherein the Believing one, is depending and looking up [enacting and authenticating] for the help of God, in order to receive what it takes to fulfil God’s plan, purpose and pursuit, in life and godliness. [John 2:23; Matthew 18:6 (Mark 9:42); Mark 11:24-26; John 14:1, 9-11; Titus 3:8].

THE ESSENCES [ESSENTIALS] TO BELIEVE AND BELIEVING:

  1. It HELPS to differentiate from Satan the devils and the cohort’s kind of trembling believe – [James 2:19].
  2. It HELPS to access the kingdom of God – have eternal life and to avoid condemnation/damnation – [John 3:16-18; Mark 16:15-16 (1 John 5:11-12; John 17:3; Acts 20:29-21)].
  3. It HELPS to ensure and assure to the basis of faith to operate by the WORD – [Romans 10:8-10, 17].
  4. It HELPS the Believer’s to access their complete salvation and to be accompanied by signs and wonders that happen by the WORD – [Mark 16:15-20].
  5. It HELPS to give the Believer’s in Christ Jesus, the access to the baptism of the Holy Spirit – [John 7:37-39; Acts 19:1-7 [Luke 24:49; Acts 1:5-8; Acts 10:44-48].
  6. It HELPS to come to God in Christ Jesus and to ensure the faith that pleases God is set in motion for God’s reward – [Hebrews 11:6].
  7. It HELPS to give one the enabling opportunity to hold unto the promise of God and to help ensuring that the promises of God come to one’s reality also – [Romans 4:16-25; Galatians 3:6-9].
  8. It HELPS to ensure and assure the basis for the preaching of the Gospel without – [Romans 10:14-17].
  9. It HELPS to ensure and assure the result-oriented PRAYERS in the Believer’s stand in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. Matthew 21:22; Mark 11:20-24.
  10. It thus HELPS in so many and such like way – that pertains to life and godliness on this note but not limited: Wherever and whenever the MATTERS of FAITH is mentioned in the Bible, always have in mind, that BELIEVE and BELIEVING is at work even if it’s not mentioned directly and literally and in silence. For God does nothing without a believe and believing hearts to ensure and assure His word operates unhindered for results.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“But as many as RECEIVED Him, to them gave he power to BECOME the sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE ON His name: 13 which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” John 1:12-13.

“He that BELIEVETH ON Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not BELIEVED IN the name of the only begotten Son of God” John 3:18.

“. . . 25 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED? 31 And they said, BELIEVE ON the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be SAVED, and thy house. 32 And they spake unto him THE WORD of the Lord, and to all that were in his house . . .” Acts 16:30-34.

“I am come a light into the world, that whosoever BELIEVETH ON me should not abide in darkness” John 12:46.

“And this is his commandment, That we should BELIEVE ON the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment” 1 John 3:23.

“Now when He was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many BELIEVED IN His name, when they saw the miracles which He did” John 2:23.

“But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which BELIEVE IN me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea” Matthew 18:6 [Mark 9:42].

“Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that BELIEVETH IN me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 and whosoever liveth and BELIEVETH IN me shall never die. BELIEVEST thou this? 27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I BELIEVE that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.” Mark 11:24-26.

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye BELIEVE IN God, BELIEVE ALSO IN me. . .. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10 BELIEVEST thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 BELIEVE me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else BELIEVE me for the very works’ sake” John 14:1, 9-11.

“This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have BELIEVED IN God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men” Titus 3:8.

Further Scriptural Reading Text: Romans 4:1-25

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises the importance of believing in Jesus Christ to become who and what you believe in the faith. According to John 1:12-13, receiving Jesus gives us power to become sons of God, born of God, not of flesh or human will.

Key points:

  • Believing in Jesus Christ is crucial to becoming a son of God and accessing God’s promises (John 1:12-13, Romans 5:1-2).
  • There’s a distinction between believing “on” Jesus (for salvation) and believing “in” Jesus (for empowerment and service) (John 3:18, John 2:23).
  • Believing in Jesus enables us to access complete salvation, signs and wonders, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Mark 16:15-20, John 7:37-39).
  • Faith is essential for receiving God’s promises, operating in God’s Word, and experiencing result-oriented prayers (Romans 4:16-25, Matthew 21:22).
  • We become who and what we believe in the faith; believing is key to God’s power and grace in our lives (Matthew 9:27-30).

The message encourages believers to:

  • Believe in Jesus Christ for salvation and empowerment
  • Understand the distinction between believing “on” and “in” Jesus
  • Access God’s promises and power through faith
  • Become who and what they believe in the faith

Ultimately, the message is about the importance of faith and believing in Jesus Christ to experience God’s power, grace, and promises

GOD GIVES [SHINES] LIGHT OUT OF THE MIDST OF DARKNESS

April 16, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

GOD GIVES [SHINES] LIGHT OUT OF THE MIDST OF DARKNESS: GOD DOES NOT GIVE [SHINES] LIGHT UPON DARKNESS!

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I AM THE LIGHT of the world: he that FOLLOWETH me shall NOT WALK IN DARKNESS, but shall have the LIGHT OF LIFE” John 8:12.

The beauty of our REDEMPTION is that light has TRIUMPH over darkness. And Jesus is our light and lighthouse indeed. And in Him, we can walk in the light of God, in Christ Jesus, in our redemption in Him. God is not saying He will shine LIGHT upon our darkness or in our darkness but will bring FORTH light OUT OF OUR DARKNESS as He did in our redemption through Christ Jesus; much more as He did in creation wherein DARKNESS beseech the EARTH. The Consequence of that darkness made the earth to be without form and void. But God abhors darkness, hence He ordered light to shine fourth OUT OF THAT DARKNESS. And light came FORTH. And light is superior to any level of darkness, for darkness can NEVER comprehend, overtake, overpower or breakdown any form or levels of light.

“For God, who commanded the LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS, hath SHINED in our hearts, to give THE LIGHT OF THE KNOWLEDGE of the glory of God in the FACE OF JESUS CHRIST” 2 Corinthians 4:6.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the EARTH was WITHOUT FORM, AND VOID; and DARKNESS was UPON the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be LIGHT: and there was light. 4 And God saw the LIGHT, that it was good: and God divided the light from the DARKNESS. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day” Genesis 1:1-5.

And by God’s eternal WORD, you can emancipate yourself with God’s light to brighten up your life from any form and void of darkness. For God’s word is a lamp (insight) unto our feet and a light (foresight) unto our path of doing life. And the entrance of God’s WORD into our being brightens up our life daily with understanding.

“Thy WORD is a LAMP unto my FEET, and a LIGHT unto my PATH . . . 130 The ENTRANCE of thy WORDS giveth LIGHT; it giveth UNDERSTANDING unto the simple” Psalms 119:105, 130.

“In the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the LIGHT SHINETH IN DARKNESS; and the DARKNESS COMPREHENDED IT NOT” John 1:1-5.

And by Jesus in you, who is the LIGHT in you, the path of you, the JUSTIFIED and RIGHTEOUS person in Christ Jesus, can now shine brighter and brighter until your day is dawn with God in LIFE and GODLINESS in the grace. For He is the fountain of life, and in His light, we shine out His light to illuminate the world out of darkness in the grace of redemption.

“But the PATH OF THE JUST is as the SHINING LIGHT, that SHINETH MORE AND MORE unto the perfect day” Proverbs 4:18.

“For with You is the FOUNTAIN of life [the fountain of life-giving water]; In Your LIGHT we SEE light” Psalms 36:9/Amplified.

“You ARE the LIGHT of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill CANNOT be hidden; 15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives LIGHT to all who ARE in the house. 16 Let your light SHINE before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] GLORIFY your Father who is in heaven” Matthew 5:14-16/Amplified.

I pray that you SHINE FORTH IN THE LIGHT of God’s GRACE in you, which is Christ and of Christ out of EVERY NOTABLE DARKNESS you are locked down with at this very moment, in Jesus precious name. Amen.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK!

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Ye ARE the LIGHT of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your LIGHT so SHINE before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” Matthew 5:14–16.

“For God, who commanded the LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS, hath SHINED in our hearts, to give THE LIGHT OF THE KNOWLEDGE of the glory of God in the FACE OF JESUS CHRIST” 2 Corinthians 4:6.

“Thy WORD is a LAMP unto my FEET, and a LIGHT unto my PATH . . . 130 The ENTRANCE of thy WORDS giveth LIGHT; it giveth UNDERSTANDING unto the simple” Psalms 119:105, 130.

“But the PATH OF THE JUST is as the SHINING LIGHT, that SHINETH MORE AND MORE unto the perfect day” Proverbs 4:18.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises that God shines light out of darkness, not upon it. Jesus Christ is the Light of the world, and through Him, we can shine His light to illuminate the world. The beauty of redemption is that light has triumphed over darkness.

Key points:

  • God brings light out of darkness, as seen in creation (Genesis 1:1-5) and redemption (2 Corinthians 4:6).
  • Jesus Christ is the Light of the world, and we are called to follow Him and shine His light (John 8:12, Matthew 5:14-16).
  • God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, giving us understanding and insight (Psalms 119:105, 130).
  • As believers, we are the light of the world, and our light should shine before men to glorify God (Matthew 5:14-16).
  • Darkness cannot comprehend or overpower light, and we can overcome darkness through Jesus Christ (John 1:1-5).

The message encourages believers to:

  • Emancipate themselves with God’s light to brighten up their lives from darkness.
  • Shine forth in the light of God’s grace, which is Christ and of Christ.
  • Trust in God’s Word to give them light and understanding.

Ultimately, the message is one of hope and empowerment, encouraging believers to shine the light of Christ in a dark world
