THE PATH OF TRUE LIFE: FOUND IN GOD’S PRESENCE AND AT HIS RIGHT HAND OF RIGHTEOUSNESS!

“Thou wilt SHEW me the PATH OF LIFE: in thy PRESENCE is FULNESS of joy; at thy RIGHT HAND there are PLEASURES for evermore” Psalms 16:11.

Do you want to do life with God?
Do you want to live godly with God?
Do you want to access God and abide in Him?
Do you really want all things that pertain to doing life and godliness that have been made available to us by God’s divine power in Christ Jesus?
Do you want to ensure that God’s precious promised BLESSEDNESS are readily accessible, reachable and effortless by His divine nature?
If your answer is YES – as mine is – then we need to follow His set PATH OF LIFE for us in His divine plan, purpose and pursuit. You need to follow His set life path and way, for He will only COMMEND what He COMMAND.

“The STEPS of a [GOOD and RIGHTEOUS] man are DIRECTED and ESTABLISHED by the Lord, And He DELIGHTS in his WAY [and BLESSES his PATH]” Psalms 37:23/Amplified

And God’s intent to direct and order our path to His set plan, purpose and pursuit for our lives, is to enable us to have His FULNESS OF JOY and PLEASURE FOREVER MORE – and these are found and ensured in the following context:

Living within HIS PRESENCE as a lifestyle, by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Living within HIS RIGHT HAND OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, which is in Christ Jesus.

For the path of the righteous in God’s set plan in Christ Jesus will bring forth the dawn of day and the dawn of life that we earnestly desire and crave to attain in Him in Christ Jesus.

“But the PATH of the JUST is as the SHINING light, that SHINETH more and more unto the PERFECT (DAWN) day . . .” Proverbs 4:18-23/Emphasis Mine.

Therefore I say to you today, that for the unspeakable, indescribable, overwhelming and incomprehensible, COMPLETE JOY and UNENDING PLEASURES of God in Christ Jesus’ stead, you and I need to practise the lifestyle of LIVING WITHIN GOD’S PRESENCE. And God’s PRESENCE involves two things:

Being LED by the Holy Spirit 24/7;
Ensuring we STAY WITHIN the bounds of God’s RIGHT HAND, which is His RIGHTEOUSNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead.

Meaning: not in our own man-made religious dogma, denominational creeds and bye-laws, and traditions that make the WORD of God of no effect in us.

It is my earnest PRAYER today that you are awakened to enjoy God’s set part of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“. . .For as many as are LED by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God . . “ Romans 8:9-17, 26-27.

“. . . 23 But the hour cometh, and NOW is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him MUST worship him in spirit and in truth” John 4:19-24.

“God is faithful, by whom ye were CALLED unto the FELLOWSHIP of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:9.

“And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to PRAY. 29 And AS HE PRAYED, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering . . .” Luke 9:28-36.

“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and RIGHTEOUSNESS, and sanctification, and redemption” 1 Corinthians 1:30.

“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being IGNORANT of God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS, and going about to ESTABLISH THEIR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, have not SUBMITTED themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the END OF THE LAW FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS to every one that believeth” Romans 10:4.

SUMMARY:

This message is a prophetic call and theological exhortation to embrace a Spirit-led, Christ-centred life of abiding in God’s Presence and walking in His righteousness, in order to access the fulness of joy and unending pleasures that God has prepared for believers.

CENTRAL THEME

The entire message is anchored on Psalm 16:11: “in thy PRESENCE is FULNESS of joy; at thy RIGHT HAND there are PLEASURES for evermore.”
It presents “THE PATH OF TRUE LIFE” as being found exclusively in two realities: Living within God’s PRESENCE and Living within His RIGHT HAND OF RIGHTEOUSNESS in Christ Jesus.

The message warns against“man-made religious dogma, denominational creeds and bye-laws”. True life is not found in establishing our own righteousness, but in submitting to God’s righteousness in Christ Romans 10:4.

DILIGENCE AND PLANNING: PRINCIPLES THAT ENSURES AND ASSURE KINGDOM PROSPERITY!

“The PLANS of the DILIGENT lead surely to ABUNDANCE [PROSPERITY] and ADVANTAGE [OPPORTUNITY], But everyone who ACTS IN HASTE [SHORT CUTS] comes surely to POVERTY” Proverbs 21:5/Amplified.

If you’ve not planned to succeed and excel in anything worth engaging, know also that you’ve equally planned to fail accordingly. Hence there’s no need to commit to anything that’s not planned, and where preparedness is not ensured and assured. Otherwise, you will undermine prudence – the act of managing the resources – and you will also undermine diligence to accomplish the set task. Planning creates structure. Preparation creates systems, principles and order. Diligence creates the operating factor – the person or persons – to make the process a reality, which in essence makes it tangible as set.

Diligence is being smartly and consistently consistent with a given task, within a given time. So, it’s not about hard working to nothing, but about smart working to something that is resolved within a given time. Hence, planning is an inescapable task to be built in to achieve maximum results – results that are done effortlessly, and without sweat, stress, unnecessary excuses or explanation.

“Do you see a man DILIGENT and SKILLFUL in his BUSINESS? He will stand before KINGS [HONOUR, NOBLE]; he will not stand before obscure [MEAN, UNPRODUCTIVE, LAZY, SLOTHFUL, WISHFUL THINKER’S] men” Proverbs 22:29/Amplified Classic Edition/Emphasis Mine.

“The horse is PREPARED for the DAY OF BATTLE, But deliverance and victory belong to the Lord” Proverbs 21:5, 29/Amplified.

“But, beloved, we are CONFIDENT of better things concerning you, yes, things that ACCOMPANY SALVATION, though we speak in this manner. 10 For God is not UNJUST [UNRIGHTEOUS, UNFAITHFUL, UNGRATEFUL] to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same DILIGENCE to the FULL ASSURANCE of hope UNTIL THE END, 12 that you do NOT become SLUGGISH [SLOTHFUL], but IMITATE those who through faith and patience inherit the promises” Hebrews 6:9-12.

Prosperity is not by a shortcut, neither is it given to the lazy, slothful and sluggard. And it is also not for the haphazard person, but for a person of diligence – working through planning and working through preparation. You cannot plant a crop without cultivating [tilling] the ground to ensure the desired intent. There is a process in all matters of life concerning things that are real, tangible and meant to be durable and sustainable. Anything contrary to process, does not have a foundation for being genuine, trustworthy and excellent at the final outcome.

“He who TILLS [CULTIVATES] his land will have plenty of bread, But he who FOLLOWS WORTHLESS things LACKS common sense and GOOD judgment” Proverbs 12:11/Amplified.

“He who CULTIVATES his land will have plenty of bread, but he who FOLLOWS WORTHLESS people and PURSUITS will have poverty enough. 20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings, but he who MAKES HASTE to be rich [AT ANY COST] shall not go unpunished. 21 To have respect of persons and to show partiality is not good, neither is it good that man should transgress for a piece of bread. 22 He who has AN EVIL and COVETOUS eye HASTENS to be rich and knows not that want will come upon him” Proverbs 28:19-22/Amplified Classic Edition.

A lasting, durable and impactful Kingdom prosperity of God does not become a reality by quoting scriptural texts and references [3 John 1:2; Psalms 25:37; Psalms 37:25; John 10:10; Psalms 23]. It comes by the PRINCIPLE of diligence through planning, resulting from preparation – that is how vision is turned to mission, mission is turned to commission, and commission is turned to impact, reality and tangibility.

“THE PLANS of the mind and ORDERLY THINKING belong to man, but from the Lord comes the [wise] answer of the tongue . . . 3 Roll your WORKS upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will CAUSE your THOUGHTS to BECOME AGREEABLE to His will, and] so shall your PLANS be ESTABLISHED and SUCCEED . . . 9 A man’s mind PLANS his way, but the Lord DIRECTS his STEPS and MAKES them SURE” Proverbs 16:1, 3, 9/Amplified Classic Edition.

Give yourself to smart planning of the work [task], and by preparing the work, it enables the process of diligence to measure up to the smartly set timeframe for accomplishments. When measured with prudence, you will see thoughtful management of the available or given resources for the task – without waste and losses which occur when it is otherwise.

As a Pastor, I have chosen to PREPARE always, then PLAN out the process, and then commit to DILIGENCE with PRUDENCE for the task before me. For effective prudence, the management of God’s given resources in terms of – time, finance (cash/kind), people, materials [equipment] and effort (talent/skills) – must not be undermined by any means. To accomplish the set plan, purpose and pursuit, the principle of responsibility and accountability cannot be undermined. There is no room for any form of shortcut in any Kingdom process with God. The task of stewardship, responsibility and accountability cannot be taken for granted under God, in the grace of Christ Jesus’ stead. Do not create an unrighteous path and call it righteous. God does not permit such acts of perversion in the Kingdom. They ignite the wrath of God.

“Let a man so ACCOUNT of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and STEWARDS [CUSTODIANS] of the mysteries of God” 1 Corinthians 4:1-2.

“For the WRATH of God is REVEALED from heaven AGAINST all UNGODLINESS and UNRIGHTEOUSNESS of men, who SUPPRESS the TRUTH [PROCESS] in UNRIGHTEOUSNESS” Romans 1:18/NKJV/Emphasis Mine.

It is my earnest PRAYER that you awaken from a slumbering state to prosper in all dimensions in the grace of Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. Ensure DILIGENCE and PLANNING, and PRINCIPLES that ensure AND assure KINGDOM PROSPERITY – without sentiment, prejudice and dissimulation. [3 John 1:2; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Luke 2:52]

PLANNING — Creates STRUCTURE
Planning is presented as inescapable.To not plan to succeed is to plan to fail. Plans of the mind belong to man, but their establishment and success come when rolled upon the Lord Proverbs 16:1-3,9. Planning sets the course and prevents waste.
PREPARATION — Creates SYSTEMS, PRINCIPLES and ORDER
Illustrated by“The horse is PREPARED for the DAY OF BATTLE” Proverbs 21:31 and “He who TILLS his land will have plenty of bread” Proverbs 12:11.
Preparation ensures that when opportunity comes, the system is ready. No crop without cultivation.
DILIGENCE — Creates the OPERATING FACTOR
Diligence is defined as being “smartly and consistently consistent with a given task, within a given time.” It is smart work, not just hard work.
Scriptural backing: “Do you see a man DILIGENT and SKILLFUL in his BUSINESS? He will stand before KINGS” Proverbs 22:29.
“Show the same DILIGENCE to the FULL ASSURANCE of hope UNTIL THE END” Hebrews 6:11.

Together: Vision → Mission → Commission → Impact, Reality and Tangibility.

KEY CONTRASTS AND WARNINGS
What Kingdom Prosperity is NOT:
Not for the lazy, slothful, sluggard, haphazard person, or those who take shortcuts Proverbs 28:20. Not produced by confession or quoting texts without corresponding action.
What Undermines It:
Lack of prudence — the act of managing resources. Waste, losses, and following worthless pursuits Proverbs 28:19.
Moral Boundary:
No room for shortcuts or creating an “unrighteous path and calling it righteous.” This suppresses truth and ignites the wrath of God Romans 1:18. Stewardship, responsibility and accountability cannot be taken for granted 1 Corinthians 4:1-2.

STEWARDSHIP & PRUDENCEINPRACTICE

Effective prudence demands managing all of God’s given resources: time, finance (cash/kind), people, materials, and effort (talent/skills).

This is a call to abandon religious passivity, shortcuts and sloth. It positions diligence, planning, and preparation as the spiritual and practical infrastructure for Kingdom prosperity. When these principles are applied in accountability and stewardship, under God’s direction, they produce sustainable, honourable, and tangible results that glorify God and stand before kings.

THE “LOVE” OF MONEY

THE “LOVE” OF MONEY: THREE MAJOR CAUSES AND THEIR SIDE-EFFECTS!

“For THE LOVE OF MONEY is the ROOT OF ALL EVIL: which while some COVETED after, they have ERRED from the FAITH, and PIERCED themselves through with many SORROWS” 1 Timothy 6:10/Emphasis Mine.

MONEY – Finance – is a DE FACTO medium of exchange. And “MONEY” on its merit is not EVIL, nor an EVIL, nor the ROOT of EVIL, nor the ROOT of all EVIL as some claim. But it is THE “LOVE OF MONEY”, that is the ROOT of ALL EVIL, as the scriptures indicate. Money is GOOD. It is a great means of defence in life, when wisely and prudently expended.

“WISDOM along with an INHERITANCE is good. And an [excellent] advantage for those who see the sun. 12 For WISDOM is a protection even as MONEY is a protection, But the [excellent] advantage of KNOWLEDGE is that WISDOM shields and preserves the lives of its possessors” Ecclesiastes 7:11-12/Amplified.

Money is good when it is made to serve- when it is a servant – and not made to be as lord over every vital and legal means of living and doing life. And as my Father of blessed memories would say: “money is a good servant that runs errands without charge. And it must not be misappropriated nor ordered to do any erroneous errands, otherwise it will expose you.” And as the saying goes – follow the money – that is, trace and track the movement of money. If you want to catch the culprit or thief in his dealing or deed. So, you must make money a servant or an errand tool only, and not your life controller. For only then will you experience the PEACE of mind that is indescribable and incomprehensible. And with peace of mind, one is able to do life wisely, to be in CONTENTMENT and to LIVE GODLY, and to keep THE “LOVE OF MONEY” temptation at bay. You must know and understand, as God’s own, that GAIN is not GODLINESS, nor equal to GODLINESS. But rather, GODLINESS with CONTENTMENT is great GAIN, as the Scripture enjoins.

“. . . 6 But GODLINESS actually is a SOURCE of GREAT GAIN when accompanied by CONTENTMENT [that contentment which comes from a sense of inner confidence based on the SUFFICIENCY of God]” 1 Timothy 6:3-6/Amplified.

And in as much as Money is good for the causes already explained, there is a problem when one falls into the phase and sphere of – “THE LOVE OF MONEY”. For “THE LOVE OF MONEY” has CAUSES and SIDES EFFECTS. And herein are THREE WARNING SIGNS to observe, in order not to be in a position of being captivated and enslaved by “THE LOVE OF MONEY” syndromes:

“THE LOVE OF MONEY” CAUSES WORRY: This brings a lack of Sleep – sleepless nights – if and when the balance sheet is not meeting expectations or when profits are overwhelmingly below set point.

“The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eats little or much; but the abundance of the rich [who hungers for even more] WILL NOT LET HIM SLEEP” Ecclesiastes 5:12/Amplified.

“THE LOVE OF MONEY” CAUSES DISSATISFACTIONS: It allows and breeds greediness and covetousness.

“He who LOVES MONEY WILL NOT BE SATISFIED with MONEY, nor he who LOVES abundance with increase. This also is vanity [emptiness]” Ecclesiastes 5:10.

“THE LOVE OF MONEY” CAUSES TEMPTATION: It allows and leads to the BREAKING OF RULES, even THE LAW, in order to get and acquire more at any cost, irrespective of the underlying consequences.

“He that TILLETH HIS LAND shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after VAIN persons shall have poverty enough. 20 A FAITHFUL man shall abound with blessings: but he that MAKETH HASTE TO BE RICH SHALL NOT BE INNOCENT. 21 To have respect of persons is not good: FOR A PIECE OF BREAD THAT MAN WILL TRANSGRESS. 22 He that HASTETH TO BE RICH HATH AN EVIL EYE, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him” Proverbs 28:19-22.

I pray you will not be entangled in bondage as a MONEY LOVER, for mere selfish gratifications at the EXPENSE of others, of the decency and order of the RULE of law, and of the worth of living right to yourself, to your family, to your community and to the nation you serve.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“For THE LOVE of MONEY is the ROOT of ALL EVIL: which while some COVETED after, they have ERRED from the FAITH, and PIERCED themselves through with many SORROWS” 1 Timothy 6:10 (Emphasis Mine).

“A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: BUT MONEY ANSWERETH ALL THINGS” Ecclesiastes 10:19.

“Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun. 12 For WISDOM is a DEFENCE, and MONEY is a DEFENCE: but the excellency of knowledge is, that WISDOM giveth life to them that have it” Ecclesiastes 7:11-12.

“. . . 3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, AND TO THE DOCTRINE WHICH IS ACCORDING TO GODLINESS; 4 he is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that GAIN IS GODLINESS: from such withdraw thyself. 6 But GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT IS GREAT GAIN” 1 Timothy 6:1-6.

“But if any PROVIDE NOT for his own, and specially for those of his OWN house, he hath DENIED THE FAITH, and is WORSE than an INFIDEL (UNBELIEVER)” 1 Timothy 5:8.

“Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye WITHDRAW yourselves from every brother that WALKETH DISORDERLY, and not after the tradition which he received of us. 7 For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we BEHAVED NOT OURSELVES DISORDERLY among you; 8 neither did we eat any man’s BREAD FOR NOUGHT; but wrought with LABOUR and travail night and day, that we might not be CHARGEABLE to any of you: 9 not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. 10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, THAT IF ANY WOULD NOT WORK, NEITHER SHOULD HE EAT. 11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you DISORDERLY, working not at all, but are BUSYBODIES. 12 Now them that are such we COMMAND and EXHORT by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they WORK, and EAT their OWN bread” 2 Thessalonians 3:6-12.

SUMMARY:

This is a biblical charge and warning on money, contentment, and godliness. The message separates MONEY from THE LOVE OF MONEY, and calls believers to keep money as a servant, not a master.

THE FOUNDATION: MONEY IS GOOD, THE LOVE OF MONEY IS EVIL
MONEY IS A TOOL: Money — Finance — is a DE FACTO medium of exchange. On its merit, money is NOT EVIL. It is GOOD and “a great means of defence in life, when wisely and prudently expended” — [Ecclesiastes 7:11-12].
“BUT MONEY ANSWERETH ALL THINGS” — [Ecclesiastes 10:19].
It provides for family and fulfils responsibility — “if any provide not for his own… he hath denied the faith” — [1 Timothy 5:8].
THE PROBLEM IS THE LOVE OF MONEY: “FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL” — [1 Timothy 6:10].
While some COVETED after it, they ERRED FROM THE FAITH and PIERCED THEMSELVES THROUGH WITH MANY SORROWS.

THE RIGHT POSTURE: GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT

Money must be made to SERVE, not to RULE.
As stated: “money is a good servant that runs errands without charge”. Misuse it and it will expose you.
GAIN ≠ GODLINESS. The Scripture corrects this error: “GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT IS GREAT GAIN” — [1 Timothy 6:6].
This contentment comes from inner confidence based on the SUFFICIENCY OF GOD.
When money is servant and not controller, you experience INDESCRIBABLE PEACE OF MIND to live wisely, godly, and free from the temptation of the love of money.

WORK, INTEGRITY AND ORDER

The message rejects laziness and disorder:
“IF ANY WOULD NOT WORK, NEITHER SHOULD HE EAT” — [2 Thessalonians 3:10-12].
Believers are to work with labour, not be busybodies or chargeable to others. This preserves decency and the rule of law.

THE THREE WARNING SIGNS OF “THE LOVE OF MONEY”

Here are the CAUSES AND SIDE-EFFECTS to watch for:

WARNING SIGN 1: IT CAUSES WORRY
The love of money brings sleepless nights when balance sheets fail, or profits drop below set points.
“The sleep of a labouring man is sweet… but the abundance of the rich [who hungers for even more] WILL NOT LET HIM SLEEP” — [Ecclesiastes 5:12].

WARNING SIGN 2: IT CAUSES DISSATISFACTION
It breeds greediness and covetousness. There is never enough.
“He who LOVES MONEY WILL NOT BE SATISFIED WITH MONEY… THIS ALSO IS VANITY [EMPTINESS]” — [Ecclesiastes 5:10].

WARNING SIGN 3: IT CAUSES TEMPTATION
It leads to breaking rules and even the law to acquire more at any cost, regardless of consequences.
“HE THAT MAKETH HASTE TO BE RICH SHALL NOT BE INNOCENT… FOR A PIECE OF BREAD THAT MAN WILL TRANSGRESS” — [Proverbs 28:19-22].

THE FINAL PRAYER AND CHARGE

“I PRAY YOU WILL NOT BE ENTANGLED IN BONDAGE AS A MONEY LOVER, FOR MERE SELFISH GRATIFICATIONS AT THE EXPENSE OF OTHERS, OF THE DECENCY AND ORDER OF THE RULE OF LAW, AND OF THE WORTH OF LIVING RIGHT TO YOURSELF, TO YOUR FAMILY, TO YOUR COMMUNITY AND TO THE NATION YOU SERVE.”

THE BOTTOM LINE IN ONE LINE:

Let GODLINESS rule you. Let MONEY serve you. Reject the love of money, embrace contentment, work with integrity, and you will walk in peace, provision, and great gain.

FORE-Telling And FORTH-Telling

FORE-Telling And FORTH-Telling: The Difference As To The OLD And NEW TESTAMENT – PROPHETS And PROPHECY!

Do not be deceived and mistaken anymore by anyone – because you ARE your own PROPHET. Meaning therefore, that you can EXAMINE, that is, JUDGE the spirit before you AFFIRM PROPHECY blindly – for the Holy Spirit of God LIVES in you to ASCERTAIN the TRUTH that assures, ensures and sets one FREE. FEAR NOT THEREFORE ANYMORE!

“Let the PROPHETS speak two or three, and let the other JUDGE (EXAMINE)” 1 Corinthians 14:29 (Emphasis Mine).

For a while now, the majority of innocent Christians have ended up in more bondage in their curiosity to obtain miracles or blessings from SO-CALLED PROPHETS, who unknowingly are more like FORTUNE TELLER on SPELLS.

I have used the word “SO-CALLED PROPHETS” because such are not genuine in respect to the genuine PROPHETS of God, by the obvious unscriptural acts and vices they have exposed people to in their vulnerability. For God’s GENUINE PROPHET are CALLED and SENT FORTH as MESSENGERS with His message, which does not take advantage of people’s vulnerability.

Firstly, the Scriptures accredit the essence of PROPHET and PROPHETIC Ministry in both the OLD and NEW Testament (Ephesians 4:11-16). Unfortunately, their acts of OPERATION, ADMINISTRATION and MANIFESTATION are not the same, meaning they are contrary in each TESTAMENT (1 Corinthians 12:4-7); and unfortunately, many are exerting and exercising the patterns of the OLD TESTAMENT in the NEW TESTAMENT.

In the OLD TESTAMENT there were three classes of LEADERSHIP :
The KING (To oversee, protect and defend in the civic governance of the people),

The PRIEST (To minister To God on behalf of the People)

The PROPHET (To HEAR and RECEIVE The WORD from Father God for the people).

And more importantly, none of them, nor the people of that TESTAMENT assigned to LEAD, were BORN AGAIN, BAPTISED AND FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT living within, in order to authenticate The WORD of God as it is today – (John 3:3-8, 16-18). For The Holy Spirit came upon these three sects as and when needed to accomplish the purposes in their jurisdiction of obligations under God. It came UPON them ONLY. It Never LIVED in them.

And the PROPHET, as per this context, in the OLD TESTAMENT was to HEAR The WORD from God by The Holy Spirit that came UPON them ONLY to minster to God’s people. Hence the purposeful function was to FORE TELL – that is, FORE-TELLING – in Ministerial UTTERANCES.

And to FORETELL, which is a verb, means to predict as instructed; to tell the future as instructed before it occurs and to prophesy about God’s intended plan in solving the immediate or future purpose of God to His people. And in each case God did not leave His people in limbo but gave direction for their journey to fulfill His intended RIGHTEOUS plan and purpose. And God did all these in the OLD TESTAMENT as a process of carrying out His PLAN, PURPOSE and PURSUIT towards human REDEMPTION, which was to be fulfilled in Christ Jesus – (Luke 24:44-45; John 1:45; Galatians 3:23-25).

NOW WE HAVE CHRIST JESUS –THE RESULT AND THE CONSEQUENCE OF THE NEW TESTAMENT.

The NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET, unlike the OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET, differs in many respects. Firstly, REDEMPTION has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus for humanity. And the people of God today are born of God, in grace within, baptised and filled with the indwelling Holy Spirit to guide and guard the respective individual and collective body. We are also given the right to access God unhindered, individually and collectively, with no need to bypass any person. And by the indwelling Holy Spirit through God’s WORD, one CAN make JUDGEMENT on any form of PROPHECY or PROPHETIC UTTERANCE of any SORT – to discern if it be of God or not.

It thus means that the NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET is ONLY in a position to SPEAK FORTH, that is, to FORTH TELL – FORTH TELLING – in Ministerial UTTERANCES. And to FORTH-TELL is a verb and it means to tell forth; that is, to publish abroad, make known, spread, shout out and broadcast the GOSPEL – the Good News – of that which has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus on our behalf in REDEMPTION, the result of which is EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION and COMFORT – (1 Corinthians 14:3-4). Wherein there is no fear, threat, complex or unnecessary sentiments to appeal to any at all.

And since we live in the sphere and realm of the Holy Spirit to REVEAL and AUTHENTICATE God’s PLAN, PURPOSE and WILL in Christ Jesus in us by The WORD, we need none of such ACTS of the OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET (1 Corinthians 2:9-10). Genuine PROPHETIC PROPHECY of God will point one to JESUS and not self, ego and personality (Revelation 19:10). And anyone who claims to have a PROPHETIC PROPHECY and does not seem to be open to EXAMININATION indicates error, ignorance, pride, rudeness, self-egoism and such like. (Acts 17:10-13; 1 Corinthians 14:29). Every PROPHESY must be EXAMINED in the LIGHT of God’s WORD (Isaiah 8:16, 19-20; 2 Peter 1:19-21).

It is unfortunate that some sects of Ministers have assumed to become PROPHETS or to have a PROPHETIC message which I call ‘SO-CALLED PROPHETS’. They go about taking advantage of God’s precious people in their ignorance of not being diligent searchers of the SCRIPTURES as BEREA N Christians (Acts 17:10-13) and are exerting and exercising the OLD TESTAMENT Prophetic Ministerial acts on the NEW TESTAMENT Believers in Christ Jesus, which is absurd.

These dubious acts being practiced are unbiblical and unscriptural and they result in FORTUNE-TELLING – FORTUNE-TELLING/TELLER. This is the act of a person who is supposedly able to predict a person’s future by palmistry, using a crystal ball, or similar methods such as sorcery, spells, witchcraft and such likes (Acts 8:1-25; Acts 19:8-20). This is FRAUD and FALSEHOOD and many unfortunately, who do not care to READ, KNOW and UNDERSTAND God’s WORD by the Holy spirit, have become victims. They are lured into such bondages with all forms of fear and phobias in order to get them to consent to these sentiments.

Dear Believers in Christ, you have the right in Christ Jesus to make JUDGEMENT – that is, to EXAMINE – without being judgemental, on any prophecy no matter who SPEAKS or is SPEAKING (Acts 17:10-13), before you affirm your life to it, otherwise, the consequential error is yours and not God’s, for God is not the AUTHOR of CONFUSION – (1 Corinthians 14:26-33; Matthew 22:29).

THERE IS NO ROOM FOR THE SPIRIT OF FEAR, THREAT, INTIMIDATION AND TORMENT ON GOD’S PEOPLE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT PROPHETIC MINISTRY.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, BUT RATHER THAT YE MAY PROPHESY. 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 3 But he that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT . . . 26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. 27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. 29 LET THE PROPHETS SPEAK TWO OR THREE, AND LET THE OTHER JUDGE (EXAMINE). 30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. 31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the AUTHOR OF CONFUSION, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints . . .” 1 Corinthians 14:1-40 (Emphasis Mine).

“Wherefore I put thee in REMEMBRANCE that thou STIR UP THE GIFT OF GOD, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. 7 For God hath not given us THE SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” 2 Timothy 1:6-7

“Herein is our LOVE MADE PERFECT (COMPLETE, MATURE, WHOLE), that we may have boldness in the DAY OF JUDGMENT (PREDICAMENT, CHALLENGES, QUESTIONING): because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no FEAR IN LOVE; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:17-18 (Emphasis Mine)..

“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY, WHETHER THOSE THINGS WERE SO. 12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few. 13 But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people” Acts 17:10-13.

“To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they SPEAK NOT ACCORDING TO THIS WORD, it is because there is NO LIGHT IN THEM” Isaiah 8:20.

“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY” Revelation 19:10.

“We have also A MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; whereunto ye do well that ye TAKE HEED, AS UNTO A LIGHT THAT SHINETH IN A DARK PLACE, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 knowing this first, that NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION. 21 For the PROPHECY came not in OLD TIME by the will of man: but HOLY MEN OF GOD SPAKE as they were MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST” 2 Peter 1:19-21.

SUMMARY:

This is a doctrinal charge and warning to the Church on how to discern true prophecy and why the New Testament believer is not meant to be deceived by counterfeit prophetic acts.

THE CORE WARNING: YOU ARE YOUR OWN PROPHET

The opening charge is that you are not to be deceived. Because the Holy Spirit LIVES IN YOU, you have the responsibility and right to EXAMINE, THAT IS, JUDGE THE SPIRIT before you blindly affirm any prophecy.
Scripture: “Let the PROPHETS speak two or three, and let the other JUDGE” — [1 Corinthians 14:29].
Fear has no place. The Spirit in you assures, ensures and sets free.

THE PROBLEM: SO-CALLED PROPHETS AND FORTUNE-TELLING

Many innocent Christians have ended up in bondage chasing miracles from SO-CALLED PROPHETS. These are not genuine prophets of God. Their unscriptural acts and vices expose people in their vulnerability.
Their operation is closer to FORTUNE-TELLING — palmistry, crystal balls, sorcery, spells, witchcraft [Acts 8:1-25; Acts 19:8-20]. This is FRAUD AND FALSEHOOD.
People are lured with fear, phobias, threats and intimidation because they do not READ, KNOW AND UNDERSTAND GOD’S WORD.
God’s genuine prophet is called and sent as a messenger with God’s message and does not take advantage of people’s vulnerability.

OLD TESTAMENT PROPHET: FORE-TELLING

Scriptural Basis: The essence of prophet and prophetic ministry is accredited in both Testaments [Ephesians 4:11-16], but their OPERATION, ADMINISTRATION AND MANIFESTATION are not the same [1 Corinthians 12:4-7].

OLD TESTAMENT STRUCTURE:
There were three leadership offices:

THE KING — to oversee, protect and defend in civic governance.

THE PRIEST — to minister to God on behalf of the people.

THE PROPHET — to HEAR and RECEIVE THE WORD from God for the people.

KEY DIFFERENCE: None in the Old Testament were BORN AGAIN, BAPTISED AND FILLED WITH THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT [John 3:3-8, 16-18].
The Holy Spirit CAME UPON them only when needed to accomplish God’s purpose in their jurisdiction. It never LIVED in them.

FUNCTION: The Old Testament prophet was to FORE-TELL — to predict as instructed, to tell the future before it occurs, and to declare God’s plan for immediate or future purposes. God did not leave His people in limbo; He gave direction for their journey.
All of this was part of God’s PLAN, PURPOSE AND PURSUIT TOWARDS HUMAN REDEMPTION, which was fulfilled in CHRIST JESUS [Luke 24:44-45; John 1:45; Galatians 3:23-25].

NEW TESTAMENT PROPHET:FORTH TELLING

NOW WE HAVE CHRIST JESUS — THE RESULT OF THE NEW TESTAMENT. Redemption is fulfilled.

KEY DIFFERENCES:

Indwelling Spirit: Believers today are born of God, baptised and filled with the indwelling Holy Spirit to guide and guard us individually and corporately.
Direct Access: We have the right to access God unhindered, with no need to bypass any person.
Discernment: By the indwelling Spirit and the Word, every believer CAN MAKE JUDGEMENT on any prophecy to discern if it is of God.

FUNCTION: The New Testament prophet is ONLY IN A POSITION TO SPEAK FORTH — FORTH-TELL.
To FORTH-TELL means to publish abroad, make known, spread, and broadcast the GOSPEL — the Good News of what Christ has fulfilled in Redemption.
The result of genuine New Testament prophecy is EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION AND COMFORT [1 Corinthians 14:3-4].
There is no fear, threat, complex or manipulation.

Because we live in the realm of the Holy Spirit to REVEAL AND AUTHENTICATE GOD’S PLAN, PURPOSE AND WILL IN CHRIST [1 Corinthians 2:9-10], we do not need Old Testament prophetic acts.
Genuine prophetic prophecy will always point to JESUS, not to self, ego or personality [Revelation 19:10].

THE TEST: EXAMINE EVERY PROPHECY

Any prophecy that is not open to EXAMINATION shows signs of error, ignorance, pride and self-egoism [Acts 17:10-13; 1 Corinthians 14:29].
Every prophecy MUST BE EXAMINED IN THE LIGHT OF GOD’S WORD [Isaiah 8:16, 19-20; 2 Peter 1:19-21].
Be like the BEREAN CHRISTIANS who searched the Scriptures daily to verify if things were so [Acts 17:10-13].

THE FINAL CHARGE

It is absurd that some ministers are practicing Old Testament prophetic patterns on New Testament believers. These dubious acts lead people into bondage and fear.
Dear Believer: You have the right in Christ to JUDGE WITHOUT BEING JUDGEMENTAL. If you affirm error, the consequence is yours — God is not the AUTHOR OF CONFUSION [1 Corinthians 14:26-33; Matthew 22:29].
THERE IS NO ROOM FOR THE SPIRIT OF FEAR, THREAT, INTIMIDATION AND TORMENT IN NEW TESTAMENT PROPHETIC MINISTRY.
“For God hath not given us THE SPIRIT OF FEAR; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” — [2 Timothy 1:6-7].
“There is no FEAR IN LOVE; but perfect love casteth out fear” — [1 John 4:17-18].

THE BOTTOM LINE IN ONE LINE:

Old Testament prophecy was FORE-TELLING by the Spirit UPON men. New Testament prophecy is FORTH TELLING the finished work of Christ by the Spirit IN men. Test everything by the Word, point everything to Jesus, and reject fear.

THE PROPHET AND THE PROPHECY: ANY PROPHECY MUST CONVEY THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS!

“And I fell at his feet to WORSHIP him. And he said unto me, See thou DO IT NOT: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the TESTIMONY OF JESUS: WORSHIP God: FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY” Revelation 19:10.

It is time to wake up from your SLUMBERING and WANDERING desire to be seeking a PROPHECY, instead of seeking the Lord God of PROPHECY in Christ Jesus’ stead.

And ENOUGH of that FOOLISHNESS, IGNORANCE and STUPIDITY.

You must come to know that no matter who DARES to speak into your life — whether a MAN or an ANGEL and the like — concerning the so-called and acclaimed PROPHECY or PROPHETIC MESSAGE, such a message MUST CONVEY THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS in your life.

And such a message must of necessity align with these principles of grace:
What Christ HAS DONE, What He IS DOING in you, and What He WILL DO through you in His WORD and His LOVE, by the blessed HOLY SPIRIT who is given and lives within you in the grace.

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the LOVE of God has been POURED out in our HEARTS by the Holy Spirit who was GIVEN to us” Romans 5:5/NKJV.

The Testimony of God in Christ Jesus is the only authentic, vital and legally binding deed of God, wherein you have BETTER and DONE ACCESS, PROMISES, COVENANT, RELATIONSHIP, FELLOWSHIP and the like, in the grace.

And that is HOW TO MEASURE and DISCERN the TRUE and GENUINE spirit of PROPHECY.

For the message of prophecy and the prophetic message is to EDIFY, EXHORT and COMFORT.

“But he that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT. 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue EDIFIETH himself; but he that PROPHESIETH EDIFIETH the church” 1 Corinthians 14:3-4.

Anything that contradicts the Holy Writ of 1 Corinthians 14:3-5, especially that which attracts FEAR and THREATENING in all its ramifications, is false and falsehood, no matter who is speaking.

For God is not the author of confusion.

God wants you to be a VICTOR and not a VICTIM, and let no one take you for granted, especially in your moments of vulnerability.

It is not about the NOISE but the WORD of God in graciousness and gracefulness in His BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto ANOTHER gospel: 7 which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would PERVERT the gospel of Christ. 8 But though WE, OR AN ANGEL from heaven, PREACH (PROPHESY) any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be ACCURSED. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man PREACH [PROPHESY] any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be ACCURSED” Galatians 1:6-9/Emphasis Mine.

The Holy Scripture is graciously clear about the spirit of PROPHECY for the New Creation in Christ Jesus.

It is about the TESTIMONY of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ in us.

It must AFFIRM you gracefully by THE HOLY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU and by THE WORD, in God’s love — and not intimidate or undermine your place in Christ Jesus’ stead.

“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world CANNOT receive, because it seeth him not, neither KNOWETH him: but ye KNOW him; for he dwelleth WITH you, and shall be IN you” John 14:17.

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is SHED abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us” Romans 5:5.

Godly inspired PROPHECY is about TESTIFYING, AFFIRMING, DECLARING and PROCLAIMING the TESTIMONY of our FAITH on what Jesus HAS DONE, IS DOING and WILL DO in your life by THE WORD and THE HOLY SPIRIT, which conveys EDIFICATION, EXHORTATION and COMFORT.

It thus means that a GENUINE PROPHET with PROPHECY and PROPHESYING is the one who graciously and gracefully ministers and speaks to people unto EDIFICATION, in order to promote their spiritual growth in wisdom, devotion, holiness and the joy of the Lord.
It also speaks WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT to uphold and advise concerning the matters of God.
And it speaks WORDS OF CONSOLATION to compassionately comfort in all matters of LIFE and GODLINESS [Godly Living].

“Bind up the TESTIMONY, seal the LAW among my disciples . .19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? 20 To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they speak not according to this WORD, it is because there is no LIGHT in them” Isaiah 8:16, 19-20.

And in all these, it MUST be without any acts of FEAR and THREAT and GAIN.
For God has not given us the spirit of FEAR, THREAT and INTIMIDATION 2 Timothy 1:7.
And God’s perfect love in Christ, expressed through PROPHECY, casts out every element of FEAR and TORMENT and CONFUSION and SCHISM 1 John 4:17-18; 1 Corinthians 14:31-33; Ephesians 3:17-19.

There must be a profound SCRIPTURAL indication of genuine prophecy as in 1 Corinthians 14:3-4, that anyone can believe upon and that must be acclaimed to be given, delivered and received of God.
And that is the most gracious and graceful way to avoid and KEEP AT BAY false PROPHETS with FALSEHOODS, CUNNING and CRAFTY PROPHECY who come with THREAT, FRIGHTENING, MADE-UP FEARS and BONDAGES.

May I say emphatically that genuine PROPHETS and PROPHECY should give others the opportunity to EXAMINE — that is, to JUDGE without being judgemental — to ascertain that the prophecy acclaimed by them is of God and Scriptural, as expected in the light of the Scriptures. Otherwise, such is proud, arrogant and false 1 Corinthians 14:29-33; 1 Corinthians 2:11-16; Isaiah 8:20; Revelation 19:10.

Know today that ANYTHING contrary is FRAUD, SORCERY and WITCHCRAFT Acts 8:9-26.

Are you building your life on just a so-called prophet’s prophecy?
Or relying on a recorded, creed-like prophetic book referenced to you?
Please PAUSE and THINK scripturally about it before you act on it.

God’s WORD by the Holy Spirit is still actively at work today, as in the Bible days, and for your tomorrow.
God’s WORD is the only authentic, authoritative, undiluted and unadulterated prophecy that EXAMINES any so-called prophecy from any so-called prophet or prophetess, for your today and tomorrow VICTORY and TRIUMPH, irrespective of anything. Hebrews 13:8; Hebrews 4:12-13; Acts 17:10-12; 2 Timothy 3:14-17; 2 Timothy 2:15.

DON’T BE DELUDED BY ANYONE OR ANY MATERIAL — READ THE WORD AND LISTEN TO THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOUR SPIRIT BEING. FOR YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN DISCERNMENT, NOT SOMEONE ELSE.

“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the TESTIMONY OF JESUS: WORSHIP God: FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY” Revelation 19:10.

“And they OVERCAME and CONQUERED him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death” Revelation 12:11/Amplified.

SUMMARY:
This message is about testing every prophecy, prophet and prophetic word by one unchanging standard: THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST. It calls believers to wake up from chasing prophecies and instead seek the Lord God of Prophecy, whilst learning to discern the genuine from the false in the light of Scripture.

THE CENTRAL STANDARD: REVELATION 19:10

“FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY.”
Any prophecy, no matter who delivers it — MAN or ANGEL — must CONVEY THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS in your life. Galatians 1:8-9 warns that even if “WE, OR AN ANGEL from heaven” preach another gospel, let him be accursed.
The Testimony of God in Christ Jesus is the only authentic, vital and legally binding deed of God. It is where you have ACCESS, PROMISES, COVENANT, RELATIONSHIP and FELLOWSHIP in the grace.

THE 3-FOLD PURPOSE OF GENUINE PROPHECY: 1 CORINTHIANS 14:3-4

“He that PROPHESIETH speaketh unto men to EDIFICATION, and EXHORTATION, and COMFORT.”
A genuine prophet therefore:

EDIFIES — promotes spiritual growth in wisdom, devotion, holiness and the joy of the Lord.

EXHORTS — gives words of encouragement to uphold and advise on the matters of God.

COMFORTS — gives words of consolation in all matters of LIFE and GODLINESS.

If it does not build up, encourage, and comfort, it is not God.

THE 3-FOLD FRAMEWORK OF CHRIST’S WORK

Godly prophecy must align with what Christ has done in grace:
What Christ HAS DONE
What He IS DOING in you
What He WILL DO through you
This is made real by THE WORD and THE HOLY SPIRIT who is given and lives within you. Romans 5:5; John 14:17 — The Holy Spirit within you affirms the Word and sheds God’s love in your heart.

RED FLAGS: WHAT FALSE PROPHECY LOOKS LIKE

Anything that contradicts 1 Corinthians 14:3-5 is false, especially if it brings:
FEAR, THREAT, INTIMIDATION, CONFUSION, TORMENT, SCHISM
2 Timothy 1:7 — God has not given us the spirit of fear.
1 Corinthians 14:33 — God is NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION, but of peace.
False prophets use FALSEHOODS, CUNNING, CRAFTY PROPHECY, MADE-UP FEARS and BONDAGES to control people in their moments of vulnerability. Acts 8:9-26 — Anything contrary to the Word is FRAUD, SORCERY and WITCHCRAFT.

HOW TO TEST AND DISCERN: ISAIAH 8:20; 1 JOHN 4:1-3

“To the LAW and to the TESTIMONY: if they speak not according to this WORD, it is because there is no LIGHT in them.” Isaiah 8:20

There’s HEALING And An ANSWER: It’s TIME To PRAY And Not To PLAY And FAINT!

“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that MEN OUGHT ALWAYS TO PRAY, and not to FAINT (WEARY, GIVE UP, LOSE HEART) Luke 18:1(Emphasis Mine).

When you are up against the WALLS of personal, family and national ECONOMIC CRISIS, PANDEMIC DISEASES and the EFFECTS OF WAR, and other NATURAL or MAN-MADE disasters — you need no special vision or prophet to inform you that you need to CONNECT to the HEAVENLY in order to resolve your EARTHLY affairs.

There is ALWAYS AN ANSWER to human problems — and PRAYER MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE.

It is time to GIVE IT A GO, as in the Bible days of 2 Chronicles 7:13-15, when there are:

NO RAIN
Meaning: NO job, productivity, employment, opportunities, creativity, innovation; and the side effects of this — NO love, joy, peace, or happiness as there should be.

DEVOURING LOCUST
Meaning: NO productivity, economic meltdown, business/company closure, financial indebtedness, and personal or national economic decline. The powerful eating up the poor; and more — injustice, war, hunger, corruption and the like.

PESTILENCE / EPIDEMICS / PANDEMIC
Meaning: Sickness and diseases of ALL sorts that can kill and ruin lives, leaving one stagnant and maimed with pain and suffering, just as with any epidemic or pandemic.

IT IS TIME TO GENUINELY PRAY AND NOT PLAY, AND NOT TO FAINT [OR GROW WEARY, OR GIVE UP]

THERE IS ALREADY AN ECONOMIC EFFECT GRADUALLY SEEING IN AS A RESULT OF PANDEMIC AND WAR EFFECTS ON NATIONS.

WATCH and PRAY before you BECOME a VICTIM instead of a VICTOR.

“If I SHUT UP HEAVEN that there be NO RAIN, or if I command THE LOCUSTS to DEVOUR the land, or if I send PESTILENCE among my people; 14 if MY PEOPLE, which are CALLED by my name, shall HUMBLE themselves, and PRAY, and SEEK my face, and TURN FROM their WICKED ways; then will I HEAR from heaven, and will FORGIVE their sin, and will HEAL their land. 15 Now mine EYES shall be open, and mine EARS attent unto the PRAYER that is made in this place” 2 Chronicles 7:13-15.

SUMMARY:
This message is about responding to personal, family and national crises with persistent, sincere prayer instead of despair. It teaches that when we face economic hardship, disease, and war, the solution is to CONNECT to the HEAVENLY in order to resolve EARTHLY affairs.

THE URGENT CALL: PRAY AND DO NOT FAINT

Luke 18:1 — “MEN OUGHT ALWAYS TO PRAY, and not to FAINT [WEARY, GIVE UP, LOSE HEART].”
The central theme is urgency. There is HEALING and AN ANSWER.
The instruction is clear: IT IS TIME TO GENUINELY PRAY AND NOT PLAY, AND NOT TO FAINT.
Matthew 26:41, Ephesians 6:18, 1 Peter 4:7, Colossians 4:2 all reinforce: WATCH and PRAY with perseverance and thanksgiving, especially because “the end of all things is at hand.”

THE “WALLS” WE ARE FACING TODAY

The message identifies three modern manifestations of God’s warning in 2 Chronicles 7:13-15:
NO RAIN

Spiritual meaning: A lack of divine provision and refreshing.
Earthly effect: NO job, productivity, employment, opportunities, creativity, innovation.
Side effects: NO love, joy, peace, or happiness as there should be. Life becomes dry.
DEVOURING LOCUST
Spiritual meaning: That which consumes and wastes.

Earthly effect: Economic meltdown, business/company closure, financial indebtedness, and personal or national economic decline.
Social effect: The powerful eating up the poor; and with it — injustice, war, hunger, corruption and the like.
PESTILENCE / EPIDEMICS / PANDEMIC

Spiritual meaning: Judgement and affliction.
Earthly effect: Sickness and diseases of ALL sorts that can kill and ruin lives, leaving people stagnant and maimed with pain and suffering.

The message warns: THERE IS ALREADY AN ECONOMIC EFFECT GRADUALLY SEEING IN AS A RESULT OF PANDEMIC AND WAR EFFECTS ON NATIONS. You do not need a special vision or prophet to know — we must connect to heaven now.

GOD’S PROMISE AND CONDITION: 2 CHRONICLES 7:13-15

When God shuts up heaven, sends locusts, or sends pestilence, the remedy is not politics or panic. It is:

HUMBLE themselves

PRAY

SEEK His face

TURN FROM their WICKED ways

Then: “I will HEAR from heaven, and will FORGIVE their sin, and will HEAL their land.”
God’s eyes and ears are attentive to prayer made in sincerity.

THE BIBLICAL EXAMPLE: DAVID AT ZIKLAG — 1 SAMUEL 30:1-31

When David and his men returned to find Ziklag burned and their families taken captive, they wept until they had no strength left. David was greatly distressed.
What did he do?
He encouraged himself in the Lord his God, enquired of the Lord, and obeyed: “PURSUE: for thou shalt surely OVERTAKE them, AND WITHOUT FAIL RECOVER ALL.”
Result: “David RECOVERED ALL.” Nothing was lacking — sons, daughters, spoil, nothing.

This is the pattern: In crisis, weep, but then turn to God, enquire, obey, and recover all.

KEY PRINCIPLES TO APPLY
There is ALWAYS AN ANSWER to human problems — and PRAYER MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE.
WATCH and PRAY before you BECOME a VICTIM instead of a VICTOR.
Our battle is spiritual. Prayer in the Spirit with perseverance is our weapon. Ephesians 6:18
We must not grow weary. The time to pray is now, before the crisis consumes us.

FINAL WORD

When economic crisis, pandemic, and war effects rise like walls against us, the answer is not fear. It is faith expressed through prayer.
God is still saying: “If My people… shall pray… I will heal their land.”
PRAY. SEEK. TURN. RECOVER ALL.

THE BELIEVER’S MARRIAGE IN THE GRACE: IT’S A BLESSED MARRIAGE!

“Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise BLESSING; knowing that ye are thereunto CALLED, that ye should INHERIT a BLESSING” 1 Peter 3:9.

The Scripture declares that he that finds a wife finds a BLESSED [good, precious, gracious, lovely, admirable etc] thing and is qualified to obtain FAVOUR [BLESSEDNESS] from the Lord. Proverbs 18:22
What an incredible scriptural endowment and enduement upon the believing marriage couple in the grace.

And it is simply because they are purposefully CALLED into marriage to INHERIT a BLESSING, as 1 Peter 3:9 enjoins.

That is why every believing couple in the grace should raise their heads up, shoulders high, and stand on the highest heels of faith, because THE BELIEVERS’ MARRIAGE is BLESSED in the grace. They are purposefully called into it as being joined in one flesh, just as being joined unto the Lord as in one spirit.
[1 Corinthians 6:17, Ephesians 5:31, 1 Corinthians 1:9, Romans 8:28, Ephesians 1:11-12]

This knowing and understanding is to cause you to speak forth daily and continuously healthy and gracious words to your relationship, just as Jesus spoke forth concerning His purpose, His people, and the things about Him while in humanity. Luke 4:22

You cannot be speaking cursed words, swear words, and words of regret to your spouse in the grace and expect the blessedness of God to materialise, actualise and be fruitful at the same time in the grace.

You must be intentional and pragmatic to speak forth healthy and gracious words of faith, hope and love to your spouse to keep the blessedness. Then, over time and time and time, you will see the relationship blossom, refresh, rejuvenate, rekindle, synergise, and become flavoured, and such like.

Your words concerning what God has favoured you with in His BLESSEDNESS are gracious and they enhance your placement in THE BELIEVERS’ MARRIAGE in the grace.

“A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. 22 Whoso findeth a WIFE findeth a Good Thing, and OBTAINETH FAVOUR of the Lord” Proverbs 18:20-22.

“And all bare Him [Jesus Christ] witness, and wondered at the GRACIOUS WORDS which PROCEEDED out of his MOUTH. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?” Luke 4:22.

“A GOOD MAN out of the GOOD TREASURE of his HEART bringeth forth that which is GOOD; and an EVIL MAN out of the EVIL TREASURE of his HEART bringeth forth that which is EVIL: for of the ABUNDANCE of the HEART his MOUTH speaketh” Luke 66:45 [Matthew 12:33-35].

THE BELIEVERS’ MARRIAGE in Christ Jesus is BLESSED in the grace, irrespective.
That is the divine default set from the beginning of marriage creation by Father God.

And it is irrespective of how you feel about it, think about it, believe in it, or live in it, and any other context you may hold toward it.

And it is not cursed, or a cursed thing, or anything as such as unnecessary evil, as some may think or perhaps have attributed in their world and context.

I just want you to know, without a shadow of doubt, that the Creator God who made marriage is able to keep it and sustain it through all phases in the grace, if we let Him be in charge according to His purpose and design in the Holy Writ.

For in marriage creation, God BLESSED them [Adam and Eve] when He set the marriage purpose in place.

It is only what and how people do with the blessedness of God in the grace in Christ Jesus that can make it be a desired blessing, as in the scriptural default.
Otherwise, it can become to them by an alternative context, as may seem to them as if it is a cursed thing or attributed unnecessary evil, because of ignorance of the Scriptures.

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do ERR [MISTAKENLY, ERRONEOUSLY], not KNOWING the scriptures, nor the POWER of God” Matthew 22:29/Emphasis mine

Indeed, in scriptural context as of God, the Believers’ marriage in the grace is BLESSED. God have Blessed marriage by every measure and there’s no controversy for the believing one in the grace that lets God’s purpose and essence to be their DE FACTO in the marital journey.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; MALE and FEMALE created He THEM. 28 And God BLESSED them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and Subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” Genesis 1:26-28.

In God’s BLESSEDNESS, to be [being] BLESSED is to be EMPOWERED to succeed, to achieve, to become and to prosper in the grace.

For THE BLESSING of God enriches [makes rich] and He adds no sorrow, regret or setbacks to it. Proverbs 10:22

And the blessing of God is not physical per se, so that anyone can tamper with its nature, or adulterate it, or pervert it, or fake it, or camouflage it, or distort it, even though the devil and his cohorts have tried severally.

That does not mean the devil and his cohorts have not tried severally to undermine the integrity of the Believers’ marriage in the grace, thereby ensuring that the BLESSEDNESS of God is shunted and disbelieved.

Unfortunately for them, because THE BLESSING of God is authentic, it has stood the test of time, enriching all who hold it dearly, as promised.

“The BLESSING of the Lord, it MAKETH RICH, and he ADDETH NO SORROW with it” Proverbs 10:22.

The blessedness of the believing one is located and stored in heaven to avoid thieves and robbers.
It is there, where Christ Jesus is seated at the right hand of Father God, and by grace we are seated therein at His right hand, in the right hand of Father God.

And as such, no thief and robbers can break in to devour the blessed treasure that the believing one in Christ Jesus is endowed and endued with in the grace, as a possession in redemption.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath BLESSED us with all SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS in HEAVENLY PLACES in Christ . . . 20 which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the HEAVENLY PLACES” Ephesians 1:3, 20.

“And hath RAISED us up together, and MADE us SIT together in HEAVENLY PLACES in Christ Jesus” Ephesians 2:6.

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 but lay up for yourselves TREASURES in HEAVEN, where neither MOTH nor RUST doth corrupt, and where THIEVES do not break through nor steal: 21 for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” Matthew 6:19-21.

The believing ones, the seed of Abraham by faith, are blessed in the grace. Galatians 3:7-9, 14

And THE BLESSING of God is empowered by the Holy Spirit given to us in the grace, to empower and actualise in redemption everything that pertains to doing life and living godly * in Christ Jesus’ stead.

“Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they which ARE of FAITH, the same are the children of Abraham. 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would JUSTIFY the heathen through faith, preached before the GOSPEL unto Abraham, saying, IN THEE SHALL ALL NATIONS BE BLESSED. 9 So then they which be of FAITH are BLESSED with faithful Abraham . . . 13 Christ hath REDEEMED us from the curse of the law, being MADE a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 that THE BLESSING of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith Galatians” 3:6-9, 13-14.

“Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was GIVEN to us” Romans 5:5/Amplified. And THE BLESSING of God for the believing seed of Abraham by faith in Christ Jesus is beyond walls.
For it is firstly in the realm of the spirit of grace for our earthly utilisation.

And as such there is no colour, no gender, no tribe, no tongue, and no such like limitations to any, on the BLESSEDNESS of God as to the Believers’ marriage and in every aspect of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus’ stead.

For redemption is for all and it cuts across — kindred, tongue and nations — as it enriches all that believe of God’s salvation and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Revelation 5:9, Galatians 3:28-29
Amen.

So, do not think that your marriage is not blessed at all because of any geography, tongue, gender, colour, location, or such like.

“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is NEITHER Jew nor Greek, there is NEITHER bond nor free, there is NEITHER male nor female: for ye are ALL one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then ARE ye Abraham’s seed, and HEIRS according to the PROMISE. Galatians 3:26-29.

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED us to God by thy blood out of EVERY KINDRED, and TONGUE, and PEOPLE, and NATION; 10 and hast MADE us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall REIGN on the earth” Revelation 5:9-10.

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that LOVED us, and WASHED us from our sins in his own blood, 6 and hath MADE us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” Revelation 1:5-6.

The assurance of God’s BLESSEDNESS in the grace is found by:
— marrying the believing person you love . . .
— and loving the believing person you married .

For that is what gives the believing one the synergy that keeps the relationship thriving and flourishing, refreshing and blossoming, rekindling and rejuvenating in the grace.

For it is as the love light keeps glowing in life and grace, in Christ Jesus’ stead.

The Believers’ marriage is BLESSED in the grace. You need to believe the God’s Scriptural context rather than your feelings, or what you see, or what you are experiencing, and such like.

It is because accessing the blessedness of the Believers’ marriage in the grace is by firstly acknowledging the measure of grace, and the measure of grace that is attributed to your relationship in the grace, to be of blessing and not a curse.

“For I say, through the GRACE given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man THE MEASURE of faith” Romans 12:3.

“But unto EVERY ONE of us is GIVEN GRACE according to THE MEASURE of the GIFT of Christ” Ephesians 4:7.

The blessedness of the Believers’ marriage in the grace is not only in believing, but in communicating [speaking it forth in the grace, for out of the abundance of the heart one believes, the mouth speaks forth in the grace in faith]. Matthew 12:34, Romans 10:10

Because our warfare and battle is of faith.
The devil and his cohorts are working 24/7 trying to engage with us on our faith journey.

For the enemy knows that if one can deny the faith, then he can achieve and accomplish his purpose.

“That the communication of thy FAITH may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6.

Like everything under the sun and in the world that God has made, there will be challenging times and difficulties in marriages at various phases of progression in marriage.

There will be times of serious indifference, doubt and disputing in the relationship — but it is the couple’s responsibility to see all as ISSUES and not PERSONS.
So that they can together deal with the issues as they see them, instead of attacking each other’s person, thereby distorting the default marital blessing in the grace.

The enemy and his cohorts we know, the world system and its challenges we see, the flesh [pride of life, lust of the eyes, desires of the flesh] within us, and religion [religiosity we display, denominational doctrines we hold to, sectarianism and dogmas] that we do, all rise up against our faith in the marital grace.

It is important that we must be intentional to choose our battle, for we are only allowed to fight the good fight of faith and good warfare at all times. 1 Timothy 1:18, 6:12

And when we have this understanding, we can then ensure our blessedness in the grace.

So, do not get discouraged by any means or by any form of limitation at the moment, because relationship, like revelation, is progressive as we stay on track within the context of faith in the grace.

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses” 1 Timothy 6:12.

“This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest WAR A GOOD WARFARE; 19 holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: 20 of whom is Hymenæus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme” 1 Timothy 1:18-20.

Therefore, I COMMEND you to God and to the word of His Grace that will build you up and give you an INHERITANCE in the grace, to take a stand in the grace, and start a new you in an onward and upward trajectory, assured as you ensure that you as a believer, that your believer marriage is favoured and blessed and irrespective of the sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation about you now or tomorrow.

I pray you into God’s enabling grace to enjoy your marital BLESSEDNESS in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“A man’s stomach will be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; he will be satisfied with the consequence of his words. 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words. 22 He who finds a [true and faithful] wife FINDS a good thing and obtains FAVOR and APPROVAL from the Lord” Proverbs 18:20-22/Amplified.

“. . . 7 In the same way, you husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way [with great gentleness and tact, and with an intelligent regard for the MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIP], as with someone physically weaker, since she is a woman. Show her honor and respect as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your PRAYERS WILL NOT BE HINDERED or INEFFECTIVE. 8 Finally, all of you be like-minded [united in spirit], sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted [courteous and compassionate toward each other as members of one household], and humble in spirit; 9 and never return evil for evil or insult for insult [avoid scolding, berating, and any kind of abuse], but on the contrary, give a blessing [pray for one another’s well-being, contentment, and protection]; for you have been CALLED for this very purpose, that you might INHERIT a BLESSING [from God that brings well-being, happiness, and protection]. 10 For, “The one who wants to enjoy life and see good days [good—whether apparent or not], must keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from speaking guile (treachery, deceit). 11 “He must turn away from wickedness and do what is right. SUMMARY:
This message teaches us that THE BELIEVERS’ MARRIAGE IS BLESSED IN THE GRACE — by divine default, by divine design, and by divine empowerment.

Ephesians 1:3, 20 — “who hath BLESSED us with all SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS in HEAVENLY PLACES in Christ…”
Ephesians 2:6 — “And hath RAISED us up together, and MADE us SIT together in HEAVENLY PLACES in Christ Jesus.”
Matthew 6:19-21 — Our treasure is laid up in heaven where moth, rust and thieves cannot corrupt.
Because we are seated with Christ at the right hand of the Father, no thief or robber can devour the blessed treasure we are endowed with in redemption.

IT IS UNIVERSAL AND FOR THE SEED OF ABRAHAM BY FAITH
Galatians 3:7-9, 14— “they which be of FAITH are BLESSED with faithful Abraham… that THE BLESSING of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ.”
Galatians 3:28-29 — “There is NEITHER male nor female: for ye are ALL one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then ARE ye Abraham’s seed, and HEIRS according to the PROMISE.”
Revelation 5:9-10 — Redeemed “out of EVERY KINDRED, and TONGUE, and PEOPLE, and NATION.”

HOW WE ACCESS AND KEEP THEBLESSEDNESS
A. BELIEVE SCRIPTURE OVER FEELINGS
Accessing the blessedness begins by acknowledging the measure of grace attributed to your relationship — it is blessing, not a curse. Romans 12:3, Ephesians 4:7
SPEAK IT FORTHINFAITH
The blessedness is not only in believing, but in communicating.
Proverbs 18:20-22/Amplified — “Death and life are in the power of the tongue… He who finds a wife FINDS a good thing and obtains FAVOR and APPROVAL from the Lord.”
Matthew 12:34, Romans 10:10, Luke 4:22, Luke 6:45 — Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Like Jesus, we must speak gracious words concerning our marriage. You cannot speak curses, swear words, and words of regret and expect blessedness to materialise.
SEE ISSUES, NOT PERSONS
1 Peter 3:8-9— “never return evil for evil or insult for insult… but on the contrary, give a blessing; for you have been CALLED for this very purpose, that you might INHERIT a BLESSING.”
There will be challenging times, indifference, doubt and disputing. But it is the couple’s responsibility to deal with ISSUES together, not attack each other’s person, thereby distorting the default marital blessing.
FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH

Ephesians 5:21-33/Amplified — Husbands love sacrificially as Christ loved the church. Wives respect and honour. “each man… is to love his wife as his very own self… and the wife respect and delight in her husband.”
1 Peter 3:7 — Show honour so that “your PRAYERS WILL NOT BE HINDERED.”

DO NOTBEDISCOURAGED
Relationship, like revelation, is progressive as we stay on track in faith and grace. God who made marriage is able to keep and sustain it through all phases if we let Him be in charge according to His Word.
Matthew 22:29 — Error comes from “not KNOWING the scriptures, nor the POWER of God.”
It is only ignorance that makes marriage seem cursed. By Scriptural context, THE BELIEVERS’ MARRIAGE IN THE GRACE IS BLESSED.

FINAL COMMENDATION
Acts 20:32 — “I COMMEND you to God and to the word of His Grace that will build you up and give you an INHERITANCE in the grace.”
Take a stand. Start anew in an onward and upward trajectory. Your believer marriage is favoured and blessed irrespective of sentiments or prejudice.

TO OPERATE IN THE REALM OF SONSHIP: BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT – AND NOT BY RELIGION OR DENOMINATIONAL CREED!

“For as many as are LED by the Spirit of God, they ARE the SONS of God” Romans 8:14.

The realm of SONSHIP in Christ is not for those who merely or just have the Spirit within, but it is a realm for those who are LED by His presence.
Are you being LED by Him day to day, or do you just have Him for safekeeping or for whenever?

Sonship in this context is non-gender.
Being a CHILD of God is good and great. It only offers you entrance as a baby under tutors and guidance.
But in the realm of being a SON — SONSHIP, is where you exercise dominion, exercise authority based on PRINCIPLES, and you define your life by wisdom which is of plan, purpose and pursuit, statuesque in Christ Jesus.

The realm of a SON — SONSHIP is a position that is endowed with trust and integrity, diligence and prudence, reverential fear and love, responsibility and accountability, grace and speed, truth and righteousness, willingness and obedience, wisdom and virtue, charisma and character, and such like.

The intent is to become God’s ambassador and representative on earth, thereby advancing God’s Kingdom causes on earth and keeping the ENEMY and his COHORTS at bay. And that is in every way of doing LIFE and living GODLY, in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus’ stead. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

By being LED by Him — the Holy Spirit of TRUTH — you unveil yourself to the realm of REVELATION on the written and unwritten WORD of God, which I call the working ACTS of the HOLY SPIRIT within.

For SONSHIP POSITION is about being LED by the Holy Spirit through our human spirit on the WORD of God.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a NEW CREATURE: OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY; BEHOLD, ALL THINGS ARE BECOME NEW. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 to wit, that God was in Christ, RECONCILING the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us THE WORD OF RECONCILIATION. 20 Now then we are AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye RECONCILED to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.

“Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a CHILD, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; 2 but is under TUTORS and GOVERNORS until the time appointed of the father. 3 Even so we, when we were CHILDREN, were in bondage under the ELEMENTS of the world: 4 but when the FULNESS of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of SONS. 6 And because YE ARE SONS, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 Wherefore thou art no more a SERVANT, but a SON; and if a SON, then an HEIR of God through Christ” Galatians 4:1-7.

“But there is a spirit in man: and the INSPIRATION of the Almighty GIVETH them understanding” Job 32:8.

“The Spirit of God hath MADE me, and the BREATH of the Almighty hath GIVEN me life” Job 33:4.

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and BREATHED into his nostrils the BREATH of life; and man BECAME a LIVING soul” Genesis 2:7.

“For THE WORD of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the DIVIDING (CUTTING) ASUNDER (SEPARATION) of SOUL and SPIRIT, and of THE JOINTS and MARROW, and is a DISCERNER of the thoughts and intents of the HEART. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” Hebrews 4:12-13.

The message draws a clear line between being a CHILD of God and walking in SONSHIP.

1. MAIN DISTINCTION: CHILD vs SON

Being a CHILD is good and gives you entrance into the Kingdom. It places you as a baby under tutors and guidance.
But SONSHIP is a higher realm. It is not about gender, it is about maturity, leadership, and responsibility in Christ.

THE KEY REQUIREMENT FOR SONSHIP: BEING LED

The realm of SONSHIP is not for those who merely have the Spirit within and keep Him “for a keep or whenever”.
It is for those who are LED by His presence day to day.
Sonship position is about being LED by the Holy Spirit through our human spirit on the WORD of God.
By being led by Him — the Holy Spirit of TRUTH — you are ushered into the realm of REVELATION of both the written and unwritten WORD of God. This is what the author calls the working ACTS of the HOLY SPIRIT within.

THE CHARACTER AND AUTHORITY OF A SON

In the realm of SONSHIP you:

Exercise dominion and authority based on PRINCIPLES

Define your life by wisdom which is rooted in plan, purpose and pursuit that is statuesque in Christ Jesus
It is a position endowed with:
trust and integrity, diligence and prudence, reverential fear and love, responsibility and accountability, grace and speed, truth and righteousness, willingness and obedience, wisdom and virtue, charisma and character, and such like.

THE PURPOSE OF SONSHIP

The intent of Sonship is that you become God’s ambassador and representative on earth.
Your assignment is to:

Advance God’s Kingdom causes on earth
Keep the ENEMY and his COHORTS at bay
This applies to every way of doing LIFE and living GODLY, in God’s grace and BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus’ stead.

IN ONE SENTENCE:

Sonship in Christ is a mature, Spirit-led realm beyond mere salvation, where you are daily led by the Holy Spirit through the Word to exercise Kingdom authority, reflect Christ-like character, and represent God on earth to advance His Kingdom and resist the enemy.

THE SPIRIT-BEING TRAINING INVESTMENT VERSUS THE PHYSICAL-BEING TRAINING INVESTMENT: THE INVESTMENT COST IN WORTH AND EFFECT – IN LIFE AND GRACE!

“Then the Lord God FORMED [that is, created THE BODY of] man from the dust of the ground, and BREATHED into his nostrils the BREATH of life; and THE MAN became a LIVING BEING [an individual complete in body and spirit]” Genesis 2:7 Amplified.

May I begin by saying to you, in respect of the context and subject of this writ, that you need to understand – knowingly and unknowingly, acceptably or unacceptably – that you are God- created and God-made, irrespective of what your perception is now, today, or tomorrow [Genesis 2:7]. And that you are living by the breath of God, and there is no hiding place for you beyond the reach of God, for He indeed crafted you and has all about your being and makeup documented in His Book of Life [Psalms 139:1-18]. And it is high time to take stock and consider your investment – daily, weekly, monthly and yearly – on your priceless SPIRIT BEING in comparison to your PHYSICAL BEING, for the good of your wellbeing in life and grace. As a wise business investor on a TREASURED FIELD and PRECIOUS PEARL.

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto TREASURE hid in a FIELD; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that FIELD. 45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a MERCHANT man, seeking GOODLY PEARLS: 46 who, when he had found ONE PEARL OF GREAT PRICE, went and sold all that he had, and bought it” Matthew 13:44-46.

MAN is a LIVING spirit-being. And there is the need to know and understand for sure, in essence and context, that the MAN – non-gender specific – in the HU-MAN that makes the being is a subconscious entity. He also has an entity of consciousness which is the soul being. And together, they live in an entity which is the HU (HUMUS) – else called clay, sand or dust – otherwise the body, the physical being, which we all see and decorate like nothing else. And these separate entities together make the complete living HUMAN being, as written in 1 Thessalonians 5:23. (total, whole). The man spirit-being is eternal and answers to eternity – the realm of God for the man, made in His image and the likeness of eternity – that never dies, irrespective of whether he is a Believer in God in Christ Jesus or otherwise.

“Now may the God of peace Himself SANCTIFY you COMPLETELY; and may your WHOLE spirit, soul, and body be PRESERVED blameless at the COMING of our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Thessalonians 5:23/NKJV.

“He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted ETERNITY [a sense of divine purpose] in the HUMAN HEART [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end” Ecclesiastes 3:11/Amplified.

The real you – the MAN-BEING – is the being that is giving you life daily. And it is eternal and lives by God’s BREATH and cannot die. While the BODY is your physical being, housing your spirit being, and it depends on OXYGEN to keep your body-being actively alive, hence, it is subject to death – that means it can decay, no matter what, when its time of being is ended. And when the human dies, the eternal spirit being – the MAN in the HU-MAN – returns back to the Creator God. While the decayed BODY, the HU of the HU-MAN, returns back to its nature – clay, sand, dust – while we bury or cremate. (humus) So what makes the real being is the MAN being of the HU-MAN being, which is the spirit being in you. Genesis 2:7; Proverbs 20:27; Job 32:8; Job 33:4.

“But there is a spirit in MAN, And the BREATH of the Almighty GIVES him understanding” Job 32:8 NKJV.

“The Spirit of God has MADE me, And the BREATH of the Almighty GIVES me life” Job 33:4 NKJV.

“The spirit of a MAN is the LAMP of the Lord, SEARCHING all the INNER DEPTHS of his HEART” Proverbs 20:27 NKJV.

Have you, for once, intentionally and pragmatically considered what it COSTS in — TIME, EFFORT, MATERIAL, FINANCE and such like?

And more so, what is the corresponding and expected WORTH and EFFECT of PHYSICAL TRAINING/EXERCISE for your PHYSICAL well-being?

You can only understand my concept and perception when you take note of the tens, hundreds, thousands, millions and billions — and such like — in financial cost that is spent respectively by individuals and/or corporations, governments and charities — just to keep the human physical body fit and to ensure a healthy physical well-being of the individual and society.

And yes, in all these continuous investments of cost, the Scriptures do indicate that it ONLY PROFITS A LITTLE IN PHYSICAL TERMS — which is relative to the whole outcome in terms of the CHARACTER and BEHAVIORAL state of individuals and society at large.

“. . . TRAIN YOURSELF TOWARD GODLINESS (piety), [keeping yourself SPIRITUALLY FIT]. 8 For PHYSICAL TRAINING is of some value (useful for a little), but godliness (SPIRITUAL TRAINING) is USEFUL and of value in EVERYTHING and in EVERY WAY, for it HOLDS promise for the PRESENT life and also for the life which is to COME.” 1 Timothy 4:7-8/Amplified..

And as a challenge, could you imagine if such cost in TIME, EFFORT and FINANCE as is spent on PHYSICAL BEING training were invested instead, in terms, on the SPIRIT BEING training by individuals, and/or corporations, governments and charities?

I mean the expected worth in returns in CHARACTER and BEHAVIORAL state to the individual and society at large.

Let us say if and when 30 percent were invested in the TRAINING of the SPIRIT BEING MAN…
I can assure you how it would lead to the good and goodness of a COMPLETE and total WHOLENESS of the — spirit, soul and body.

I can guarantee you that the consequential result would be enormous, incomprehensible and unimaginable; and its WORTH would have PRESENT, FUTURE AND ETERNAL EFFECT on an individual and society at large for the good of all.

The spirit-being man’s living and sustainability is by the Word.
And investing in the matters of life to keep the spirit-being man alive cannot be compromised for any reason.

Healing and blessings flow through your spirit being connected to God to affect earthly affairs.
Otherwise, people grow weary, tired and unsatisfied, and without the actual desired peace, despite all they are envied to have and possess — because the real being, the spirit-man, is depraved and impoverished.

“For THE WORD of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the SOUL and SPIRIT [the completeness of a person], and of both JOINTS and MARROW [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very THOUGHTS and INTENTIONS of the heart. 13 And not a creature exists that is CONCEALED from His sight, but all things are open and EXPOSED, and REVEALED to the eyes of Him with whom we have to give account” Hebrews 4:12-13/Amplified.

Today, take a look within you, in all your POSSESSIONS, how much of it defines your SPIRIT MAN well-being in comparison to your PHYSICAL well-being. That’s the essence of this post.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you COMPLETELY; and may your WHOLE spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Thessalonians 5:23/NKJV.

“. . . 13 For thou hast POSSESSED MY REINS:

thou hast COVERED ME IN MY MOTHER’S WOMB. 14 I will praise thee; FOR I AM FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 THINE EYES DID SEE MY SUBSTANCE, YET BEING UNPERFECT; AND IN THY BOOK ALL MY MEMBERS WERE WRITTEN, WHICH IN CONTINUANCE WERE FASHIONED, WHEN AS YET THERE WAS NONE OF THEM. 17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee” Psalms 139:1-18.

SUMMARY:
The message declares that you are a SPIRIT-BEING first. The world invests massively in the PHYSICAL, but Scripture and wisdom demand that we invest even more in the SPIRIT — because the spirit is eternal, and spiritual training profits for time and eternity. Your wholeness depends on it.

KEY POINTS OF THE MESSAGE

YOUR IDENTITY:YOU ARE A SPIRIT-BEING

God-made and God-created: You are crafted by God and your entire makeup is documented in His Book of Life [Genesis 2:7; Psalms 139:1-18].

Tripartite Man: MAN = SPIRIT + SOUL + BODY [1 Thessalonians 5:23].

SPIRIT: The real YOU — the MAN in the HU-MAN. Subconscious, eternal, lives by God’s BREATH, and cannot die [Job 32:8; Job 33:4].

SOUL: The entity of consciousness.

BODY: The physical housing — clay, dust, humus. Depends on OXYGEN and is subject to decay and death.

Eternity in you: God planted eternity in the human heart [Ecclesiastes 3:11]. The spirit-man is made in God’s image and likeness and never dies, whether believer or not.

THE AUDIT: COST OF PHYSICAL VS SPIRITUAL INVESTMENT

Physical Investment: Individuals, corporations, governments and charities spend tens, hundreds, thousands, millions and billions to keep the physical body fit.

Scriptural Verdict: PHYSICAL TRAINING is of some value — useful for a little [1 Timothy 4:8]. It only profits a little and is relative to CHARACTER and BEHAVIOR.

The Problem: Despite all physical investment, people are still weary, tired, unsatisfied, and without peace because the SPIRIT-MAN is depraved and impoverished.

THE CHALLENGE: INVESTINTHE SPIRIT-BEING

The Proposal: Imagine if 30% of what is spent on physical training were invested in SPIRIT-BEING training.

The Guaranteed Result: It would lead to COMPLETE and total WHOLENESS — spirit, soul and body. The result would be enormous, incomprehensible and unimaginable.

The ROI: Spiritual training has WORTH with PRESENT, FUTURE AND ETERNAL EFFECT for the individual and society [1 Timothy 4:8].

How the Spirit lives: The spirit-being man’s living and sustainability is by the Word. Healing and blessings flow through a spirit connected to God and affect earthly affairs.

THE STANDARD: GODLINESS = SPIRITUAL FITNESS

1 Timothy 4:7-8 Amplified: TRAIN YOURSELF TOWARD GODLINESS [keeping yourself SPIRITUALLY FIT]. For godliness is USEFUL and of value in EVERYTHING and in EVERY WAY.

The Word: The Word of God is living, active, and judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart — it trains and exposes the spirit and soul [Hebrews 4:12-13].

THE CALL TO ACTION

Take Stock: Audit your daily, weekly, monthly and yearly investment. How much defines your SPIRIT-MAN well-being vs your PHYSICAL well-being?

Be a Wise Investor: Like the man who found treasure in a field and the pearl of great price — sell all and invest [Matthew 13:44-46].

SELAH — PAUSE AND THINK: Don’t let the physical be the only thing you feed. The eternal must be prioritized.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING

Genesis 2:7 Amplified — God formed the body and breathed the spirit. Man became a living being.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 NKJV — God sanctifies you COMPLETELY: spirit, soul, and body.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 Amplified — God planted ETERNITY in the human heart.
Proverbs 20:27 NKJV — The spirit of man is the LAMP of the Lord.
1 Timothy 4:7-8 Amplified — Spiritual training is profitable for this life AND the life to come.
Hebrews 4:12-13 Amplified — The Word trains, exposes, and judges the spirit and soul.
Psalms 139:1-18 — You are fearfully and wonderfully made. God saw you before you existed.

FINAL DECLARATION

You are not just a body. You are a SPIRIT-BEING living in a body.
Invest in what lasts. Feed what is eternal.
Train your spirit like you train your body — and even more.
Because only spiritual investment produces WHOLENESS, PEACE, and ETERNAL WORTH.

TO AVOID WALKING IN ERROR: KNOW THE SCRIPTURES FOR YOURSELF!

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do ERR (MISTAKEN), NOT KNOWING the SCRIPTURES, nor the power of God” Matthew 22:29.

There is nothing as dangerous as living in error, being mistaken, and being taken up as PREY — and becoming the VICTIM of the ENEMY and his COHORTS — because of one’s knowing or unknowing shade of ignorance, stupidity, foolishness, and vulnerability.

“Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a CONTROVERSY with the inhabitants of the land, because there is NO TRUTH, nor MERCY, nor KNOWLEDGE of God in the land . . . 6 My PEOPLE are DESTROYED for LACK of KNOWLEDGE: because thou hast REJECTED KNOWLEDGE, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children” Hosea 4:1, 6.

“Therefore my PEOPLE are gone into CAPTIVITY, because they have NO KNOWLEDGE: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst . . . “ Isaiah 5:11-16.

There is danger in not being properly informed in the KNOW-HOW and UNDERSTANDING of the context of a thing. It will otherwise expose you to danger and make you vulnerable to all manner of deceptions, adulteration, delusions, counterfeits, falsehoods and such like that are out there —

Those who are knowingly and unknowingly appearing as wolves in sheep’s clothing, like a roaring lion, and manifesting as angels of light when in reality they are angels of darkness. Others come as Ministers of God while they are under the enclave of satan and his cohorts in camouflage to deceive the ignorant. [Matthew 7:15; 1 Peter 5:8; 2 Corinthians 11:13-15; Philippians 1:15-18; 1 Timothy 1:3-11; Jude 1:3-4]

It is imperative for you to come to terms with the reality of the world about you in light of God’s Word, to avoid walking in error.

You need to INTENTIONALLY and PRAGMATICALLY resolve to KNOW THE SCRIPTURES FOR YOURSELF — to enable you to do life and live godly in Christ Jesus’ stead.

That is the place of honour, dignity and nobility that was found in the believers of Berea in Acts 17:11.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD of his grace, which is ABLE to BUILD you up, and to GIVE you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED” Acts 20:32.

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do ERR (MISTAKEN), NOT KNOWING the SCRIPTURES, nor the power of God” Matthew 22:29.

“Therefore my PEOPLE are gone into CAPTIVITY, because they have NO KNOWLEDGE: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst . . . “ Isaiah 5:11-16.

“STUDY to shew thyself APPROVED unto God, a workman that needeth NOT to be ASHAMED, rightly dividing the word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15.

“But CONTINUE thou in the things which thou hast LEARNED and hast been ASSURED of, knowing of whom thou hast LEARNED them; 15 and that from a child thou hast KNOWN the holy scriptures, which are ABLE TO MAKE thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be PERFECT, throughly furnished unto all good works” 2 Timothy 3:14-17.

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which BELIEVED on him, If ye CONTINUE IN MY WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 and ye shall KNOW the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall MAKE you FREE” John 8:31-32.

“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more NOBLE than those in Thessalonica, in that they RECEIVED the word with all READINESS of mind, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY, whether those things were so. 12 Therefore many of them believed; also of HONOURABLE women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few” Acts 17:10-12.

SUMMARY:
The message teaches us that Ignorance of Scripture is dangerous. Error, deception, and captivity are the direct result of lacking the Word. The only safeguard is to INTENTIONALLY and PRAGMATICALLY know, study, and live by the Scriptures for yourself.

KEY POINTS OF THE MESSAGE

THE ROOT OF ERROR: NOT KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES

Jesus’ Warning: “Ye do ERR, NOT KNOWING the SCRIPTURES, nor the power of God” [Matthew 22:29].
Mistakes, false doctrine, and missteps come from biblical ignorance.

God’s Controversy: God has a controversy with people because there is NO TRUTH, nor MERCY, nor KNOWLEDGE of God in the land [Hosea 4:1].

The Consequence: “My PEOPLE are DESTROYED for LACK of KNOWLEDGE” [Hosea 4:6] and “gone into CAPTIVITY, because they have NO KNOWLEDGE” [Isaiah 5:13].

THE DANGER OF IGNORANCE:YOUBECOME PREY

Living in error makes you:

PREY — taken advantage of

VICTIM — of the ENEMY and his COHORTS
This happens through shades of ignorance, stupidity, foolishness, and vulnerability.

The Deceivers: They come as wolves in sheep’s clothing [Matthew 7:15], like a roaring lion [1 Peter 5:8], as angels of light when they are angels of darkness, and as false Ministers of God under Satan’s enclave [2 Corinthians 11:13-15].
Without scriptural KNOW-HOW and UNDERSTANDING, you are exposed to deception, adulteration, delusions, counterfeits, and falsehoods.

THE SOLUTION: KNOW THE SCRIPTURES FORYOURSELF

It’s Imperative: You must come to terms with reality in light of God’s Word to avoid walking in error.

It’s Intentional: You must INTENTIONALLY and PRAGMATICALLY resolve to KNOW THE SCRIPTURES FOR YOURSELF.
No one can live godly in Christ Jesus’ stead for you.

The Berean Model: They were called more NOBLE because they RECEIVED the word with READINESS of mind, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY [Acts 17:11]. Honor, dignity, and nobility are found there.

THE POWER AND PROFIT OF THE WORD

The Word of God:

BUILDS you up and gives you an INHERITANCE among the sanctified [Acts 20:32]

APPROVES you — “STUDY to shew thyself APPROVED unto God, a workman that needeth NOT to be ASHAMED” [2 Timothy 2:15]

MAKES you WISE unto SALVATION and makes the man of God PERFECT, THOROUGHLY FURNISHED [2 Timothy 3:15-17]

MAKES you FREE — “If ye CONTINUE IN MY WORD… ye shall KNOW the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall MAKE you FREE” [John 8:31-32]

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING

Matthew 22:29 — Error comes from not knowing Scripture or God’s power.
Hosea 4:1, 6 — No knowledge = destruction and rejection.
Isaiah 5:13 — No knowledge = captivity and dryness.
2 Timothy 2:15 — Study to be approved.
2 Timothy 3:14-17 — Scripture is for doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction.
John 8:31-32 — Continue in the Word = know truth = be free.
Acts 17:10-12 — Daily searching of Scripture = nobility and belief.

FINAL CHARGE

Do not depend on second-hand knowledge.
Do not live vulnerable.
KNOW THE SCRIPTURES FOR YOURSELF.
That is how you avoid error, resist deception, and walk in honour, dignity, freedom, and the power of God.
