A HAPPY AND BLESSED FATHER’S DAY SUNDAY: THE FATHERHOOD AND FATHERING NATURING IN LOVE! 

Thank you, Father God, for FATHER’S DAY. 

FATHERING and FATHERHOOD are not just titled positions; they are special callings and commissions, with responsibility and accountability under God. To misunderstand this principle is to make parenting a joke – but not before God, who accepts no excuses. 

The fathering and fatherhood of God are expressed through L-O-V-E: above all things, gracious, graceful, liveable, reachable, teachable, approachable, and enjoyable in the grace of Christ Jesus. As God’s children, every father should ensure love, 24/7, in their hearts, thoughts, and prayers, in relation to the child or children under their care in Christ Jesus’ stead. Fatherhood may be expressed towards biological children, adopted children, or as a guardian – or a combination of all. 

“And we have known and believed the LOVE that God hath to us. GOD IS LOVE; and he that dwelleth in LOVE dwelleth in God, and God in him” 1 John 4:16. 

“One God and FATHER of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” Ephesians 4:6. 

Fatherhood and fathering are gracious and graceful responsibilities, with accountability to God. Any man can be a dad, but to be a father is far more than the fun of being a dad or daddy. It is a calling and commission, mapped out under God’s principles. 

I pray that God’s grace, wisdom, and blessedness abound more and more to all fathers. 

Enjoy, in Christ Jesus’ stead, a happy and blessed Father’s Day! 

May you thrive, find meaningful purpose and fulfilment in this calling, and always remember: love is made beautiful – even in fathers’ hearts. 

“For I have KNOWN him, in order that he may COMMAND his CHILDREN and his HOUSEHOLD after him, that they KEEP THE WAY of the Lord, to do RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, that the Lord may BRING to Abraham what He has SPOKEN to him” Genesis 18:19. 

“He has MADE EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end” Ecclesiastes 3:11. 

SUMMARY: 

This message celebrates Father’s Day by defining fatherhood and fathering from God’s perspective. The message teaches that fatherhood is a gracious and graceful calling and commission under God, and that true fathering is expressed and sustained by LOVE. 

It distinguishes between being a “dad” by biology and being a “father” by God’s standard of responsibility, accountability, love, and spiritual leadership. The foundation is that God Himself is the Father of all, and He is LOVE 1 John 4:16, Ephesians 4:6.

    Every father should ensure love in his heart, thoughts, and prayers toward children under his care — biological, adopted, or as a guardian.
    Fatherhood is expressed through love, which makes it beautiful Ecclesiastes 3:11. 
  4. SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP AND LEGACY
    Genesis 18:19:A father must know God in order to command his children and household to keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice. 
    Ephesians 4:6: There is “One God and FATHER of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all”. 
    God makes everything beautiful in its time and puts eternity in our hearts. 

CALL TO ACTION: 

TO ALL FATHERS AND MEN: 

  1. See Fatherhood as a Commission — It’s not just fun or biology. It’s a God-given responsibility with accountability. 
  2. Father in LOVE — Let your fathering be gracious, graceful, teachable, approachable, and enjoyable. Dwell in love because God is love. 
  3. Lead Spiritually — Command your household after you to keep the way of the Lord, righteousness, and justice. 
  4. Pray for Grace — Ask God for more grace, wisdom, and blessedness to fulfil this calling with purpose and fulfilment. 

May every father thrive and find meaningful purpose in this calling. Enjoy a happy and blessed Father’s Day in Christ Jesus’ stead. Love is made beautiful — even in fathers’ hearts.

FATHER’S DAY SUNDAY HAS COME: THE CELEBRATION OF FATHERLY LOVE AND FATHERHOOD! 

“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the WHOLE FAMILY in heaven and earth is named” Ephesians 3:14-15. 

Fatherhood is family, and family entails relationship and fellowship. Fellowship sustains relationship, and relationship is about naturing. Are you a father? Intending to become one? Yes, you can! But know this: any man can be a dad, yet to be a father requires a heartfelt labour of love, a work of faith, and patience of hope. It is lived out through diligence, service, sacrifice, commitment, dedication, tolerance, patience, goodness, compassion, and many such virtues. 

Fatherhood is about fellowship that deepens our relationship with God. Adam lost that fellowship of fatherhood with God, and in losing it, he lost the relationship. For us, the redeemed children of God, to actualise scriptural fatherhood, we must think of God in fellowship to enhance relationship – meaning we must think family, where fellowship nurtures relationships. Naturing entails the work of faith, the labour of love, and the patience of hope, bringing a seed to fullness until it becomes a forest, as it is written: 

“We give thanks to God ALWAYS for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; 3 remembering without ceasing your WORK OF FAITH, and LABOUR OF LOVE, and PATIENCE OF HOPE in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; 4 knowing, brethren beloved, your ELECTION of God” 1 Thessalonians 1:2-4. 

More importantly, being a father is about being the voice of God in the life of a child, as the patriarch Abraham was to his household, affirmed by God in His eternal plan, purpose, and pursuit (Genesis 18:19). To be responsible and accountable to God as a father is far more than material, physical, social, or emotional provision and support. It also involves gracious and graceful spiritual support in these ways: 

  1. As God’s priest – to stand in the gap in prayer before God, and to minister to Him for the family in all things. 
  2. As God’s prophet – to hear from Him on all matters of life and godly living for the family. 
  3. As God’s king – to protect and defend the family from the enemy and his cohorts, safeguarding their good and their goods on earth, in Christ’s stead. 

Let me remind you, dear father – and those intending to become one – that any man can be a dad or daddy. But to be a father, in the true tasks of fatherly love and fatherhood, requires heartfelt diligence, service, sacrifice, commitment, and much more. It is about being the voice of God in the life of a child, as the Patriarch Abraham was in his household, whom our Father God commended and affirmed in his fatherly path (Genesis 18:19). 

May our God, the Father of all flesh and spirit, father you with enabling grace and wisdom, so that you may faithfully father all that concerns you in fatherhood. 

Do have a wonderful and blessed Father’s Day, and a joyful celebration of fatherhood as it comes this Sunday in the UK. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“Fathers, do not PROVOKE your children to ANGER [do not exasperate them to the point of resentment with DEMANDS that are trivial or unreasonable or humiliating or abusive; nor by showing favoritism or indifference to any of them], but bring them up [tenderly, with lovingkindness] in the DISCIPLINE and INSTRUCTION of the Lord” Ephesians 6:4/Amplified. 

“Buy the truth and do not sell it— wisdom, instruction and insight as well. 24 THE FATHER OF A RIGHTEOUS CHILD HAS GREAT JOY; A MAN WHO FATHERS A WISE SON REJOICES IN HIM. 25 May your father and mother rejoice; may she who gave you birth be joyful” Proverbs 23:23-25. 

“As a FATHER has COMPASSION on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him” Psalms 103:13. 

“For I know him, that he will TEACH and COMMAND his children and household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do what is JUST and RIGHTEOUS that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he has SPOKEN and PROMISED him” Genesis 18:19.

This message is on FATHER’S DAY: THE MEANING OF FATHERLY LOVE AND FATHERHOOD — that true fatherhood is a divine calling of relationship, fellowship, and responsibility patterned after God the Father. 

KEY POINTS: 

  1. THE FOUNDATION OF FATHERHOOD IS GOD
    Ephesians 3:14-15 — “Of whom the WHOLE FAMILY in heaven and earth is named.”
    Fatherhood begins with God. He is the Father of all flesh and spirit. Family is built on relationship, and relationship is sustained by fellowship. Adam lost fatherhood when he lost fellowship with God. For us to actualise scriptural fatherhood, we must return to thinking “family” — where fellowship nurtures relationship. 
  2. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DAD AND A FATHER
    Any man canbe a dad. But to be a FATHER requires: 
    A work of faith, a labour of love, and patience of hope 1 Thessalonians 1:2-4. 
    It is expressed through diligence, service, sacrifice, commitment, compassion, tolerance, and godly virtues. 
    Fatherhood is not just provision. It is presence, instruction, and spiritual covering. 
  3. THE THREEFOLD ROLE OF A FATHER
    Tobe accountable to God, a father must function: 
  • As God’s PRIEST — to stand in the gap in prayer and minister to God for the family. 
  • As God’s PROPHET — to hear from God and direct the family in life and godly living. 
  • As God’s KING — to protect, defend, and safeguard the family and their goods from the enemy. Genesis 18:19 
    Like Abraham, a father must be the voice of God in the life of his child and household. 
  1. THE BIBLICAL MANDATE FOR FATHERS
    Ephesians 6:4; Colossians 3:21 — Fathers are not to provoke, exasperate, or discourage their children, but to bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, with lovingkindness and nofavouritism. 
    Proverbs 23:23-25 — The father of a righteous child has great joy. Wisdom, instruction, and truth must be bought and not sold. 
    Psalms 103:13 — As a father has compassion, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him. 
  2. NATURING TO FULNESS
    Naturing is the process of bringing a seed to a forest. It requires consistency, faith, love, and hope until what God has placed in a child comes to fulness. Election, calling, and purpose are nurtured in the atmosphere of fatherhood.

CALL TO ACTION: 

TO ALL FATHERS AND THOSE INTENDING TO BECOME ONE: 

  • Choose Fellowship First — Deepen your relationship with God the Father. Out of that fellowship flows true fatherhood. 
  • Embrace Responsibility — Be the priest, prophet, and king over your home. Pray, hear God, and protect. 
  • Nurture with Love — Father with compassion, instruction, and patience. Do not provoke but build up. 
  • Live the Example — Let your life be a work of faith, labour of love, and patience of hope that your children can imitate. 

May God the Father of all, father you with enabling grace and wisdom, so that you may faithfully father all that concerns you.

THE SYNERGY IS WITHIN: WORKING INSIDE OUT IN THE GRACE!

THE SYNERGY IS WITHIN: WORKING INSIDE OUT IN THE GRACE! 

“For we [who ARE born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually TRANSFORMED, RENEWED, SET APART for His PURPOSE and] ARE the TRUE CIRCUMCISION, who WORSHIP IN the Spirit of God and glory and take pride and exult IN Christ Jesus and place no confidence [in what we HAVE or who we ARE] IN the flesh” Philippians 3:3/AMP. 

It is the SYNERGY within that ENERGISES and makes all the DIFFERENCE. It is all about these: 

  • The grace within 
  • The faith within 
  • The word within 
  • The love within 
  • The power within 
  • And the Holy Spirit Working It out from within. 

FOR WE: 

  • Are Saved and grow by GRACE 
  • Are to live and triumph by FAITH 
  • Are Sustained and upheld by the WORD  
  • Are Influenced and propelled by LOVE  
  • Are Empowered by the HOLY SPIRIT – enabling us to thrive, and fulfil purpose meaningfully, in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. 

For we ARE the New creation JEW of the heart [the spirit] and INWARDLY we ARE – Spirited, Hearted, Reborn, Recreated, Circumcised, Called, Justified, Predestined, Foreknown, Chosen, Accepted, Blessed, Made, Qualified, Glorified, Purposed, Sanctified, Renewed, Transformed, Delivered, Translated, Forgiven and more . . . in Christ Jesus.  

“For he is not a Jew, which is one OUTWARDLY; neither is that circumcision, which is OUTWARD in the flesh: 29 but he is a Jew, which is one INWARDLY; and circumcision is that of the HEART, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God” Romans 2:28-29. 

“And we KNOW that ALL THINGS work together for good to those who LOVE God, to those who are the CALLED according to His PURPOSE. 29 For whom He FOREKNEW, He also PREDESTINED to be CONFORMED to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He PREDESTINED, these He also CALLED; whom He called, these He also JUSTIFIED; and whom He justified, these He also GLORIFIED” Romans 8:28-30/NKJV. 

Therefore, be ENERGISED and let it be that THE SYNERGY IS WITHIN – WORKING from The INSIDE OUT. For the working within is about what God in Christ Jesus, has ACCOMPLISHED IN you by His grace, through faith in His Word, by the Holy Spirit.  

“That the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the ACKNOWLEDGING of EVERY GOOD THING which is IN you IN Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6. 

It is in knowing and living through what is within you that what God has done for you in Christ Jesus becomes meaningful and purposeful. What is wrought in you is what you can actualise, so that it becomes your reality. In this way, you ensure that what has been done for you – in grace, through faith, by the word, in love, energised by the power of the Holy Spirit of love given to us – is fulfilled. 

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the LOVE of God is shed abroad IN our HEARTS [INNERMOST BEING, SPIRIT-BEING] by the Holy Ghost which is GIVEN unto us . . . 8 But God commendeth His LOVE toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died FOR us” Romans 5:5, 8. 

It is my earnest prayer that what has been done in you, and is within you, will become your reality in doing life and living godly, by God’s blessedness in Christ Jesus. Amen.

SUMMARY 

This message is on THE SYNERGY IS WITHIN: WORKING INSIDE OUT IN THE GRACE — that the New Creation life in Christ Jesus is powered, sustained, and expressed from the inside out by what God has already wrought in you. 

KEY POINTS: 

  1. THE IDENTITY OF THE NEW CREATION
    Philippians 3:3; Romans 2:28-29
    We ARE the true circumcision — not outward in the flesh, but INWARDLY in the heart and spirit. 
    In Christ, you are Spirited, Reborn, Recreated, Justified, Predestined, Called, Sanctified, Glorified, Qualified, and more. Your identity is not defined by the flesh, but by what God has done IN you. 
  2. THE SYNERGY WITHIN: WHAT POWERS THE INSIDE-OUT LIFE
    The difference in the believer’s life is the synergy working from within:
  • The GRACE within — we are saved and grow by grace 
  • The FAITH within — we live and triumph by faith Habakkuk 2:4; 1 John 5:4-5 
  • The WORD within — we are sustained and upheld by the Word 
  • The LOVE within — we are influenced and propelled by the love of God shed in our hearts Romans 5:5 
  • The POWER within — we are empowered by the HOLY SPIRIT to thrive and fulfil purpose
    It is the Holy Spirit working it out from within that makes all the difference. 
  1. THE WORKING OF GOD IN US
    Romans 8:28-30 — Those who love God and are called according to His purpose are Foreknown, Predestined, Called, Justified, and Glorified.
    Colossians 1:12-14 — The Father has Qualified us, Delivered us, and Conveyed us into the Kingdom of His Son. 
    2 Corinthians 4:6-7 — God has shined in our hearts and placed His treasure — His power and glory — in earthen vessels. 
    Therefore, ALL THINGS work together for your good because of the working within. 
  2. FROM KNOWING TO ACTUALISING
    Philemon 1:6 — “That the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the ACKNOWLEDGING of EVERY GOOD THING which is IN you IN Christ Jesus.”
    What God has accomplished in you only becomes your reality when you know it, acknowledge it, and live from it. What is wrought in you is what you can actualise. 
  3. TRUE WORSHIP AND TRUE LIVING
    John 4:23-24— True worshippers worship the Father IN spirit and IN truth. 
    This life is not about outward performance but about an inward reality expressed outwardly — grace, faith, love, and the Spirit working together. 

CALL TO ACTION: 

BE ENERGISED! 
Stop striving from the outside in. Begin living from the inside out. 

  • Acknowledge every good thing that is IN you in Christ Jesus. 
  • Live by the grace, faith, Word, love, and Spirit within you. 
  • Let the synergy within energise your purpose, worship, and daily life in God’s BLESSEDNESS.  

For the victory that overcomes the world is already IN you — it is your FAITH 1 John 5:4-5.

ENSURE YOU ARE A FATHER THAT’S NURTURING

ENSURE YOU ARE A FATHER THAT’S NURTURING AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A FATHER NURTURING YOU! 

“I do not write these things to SHAME you, but to WARN and ADVISE you as my beloved children. 15 For even if you were to have ten thousand TEACHERS [to guide you] in Christ, yet you would not have many FATHERS [who led you to Christ and assumed RESPONSIBILITY for you], for I became your FATHER in Christ Jesus through the good news [of salvation]. 16 So I urge you, be IMITATORS of me [just as a CHILD IMITATES his FATHER]” 1 Corinthians 4:14-16/AMP. 

It takes the presence of a NATURING Father and a NURTURING Mother to make a child become in the fulness of life and grace in Christ Jesus stead; and this is irrespective of any known and unknown circumstances. 

Where there is no physical Father to NATURE and Mother to NURTURE, there are LOADS of questions to be answered in an individual’s life. 

A father or mother may be biological, a guardian, by adoption, and the like — so long as you can experience NATURING and NURTURING, and not just either. 

It is very important as a Father that you ENSURE you are a FATHER indeed for the NATURING; and as a child, that you passionately ENSURE you have a FATHER figure in your life for the NATURING in your life and grace — irrespective of any circumstances, under God in Christ Jesus. Amen. 

The Father you are to any, or have become to any, to NATURE — by biological, guardian, or adoption — must not MATTER at all, so long as there is no room given to stereotypes, prejudice, sentiments, and dissimulation in the parenting style of being fatherly, with a fatherhood heart of love and fellowship. [hypocrisy] 

Let all such indifference — stereotypes, prejudice, sentiments, dissimulation, and the like — be kept at bay and alien to the fatherhood and fathering relationship. 

BEING A FATHER and BECOMING A FATHER is worth all of living. 

And I sincerely wish you all the enabling grace, wisdom, and speed, in every way, in God’s BLESSEDNESS, in Christ Jesus, as you continue steadfastly in your parenting grace. Amen.

“And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18 seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be BLESSED in him? 19 For I KNOW him, that he will COMMAND his children and his household after him, and they shall KEEP the WAY of the Lord, to DO justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath SPOKEN of him” Genesis 18:17-19.

“And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto CHILDREN, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 for whom the Lord LOVETH he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the FATHER chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had FATHERS of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the FATHER of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby” Hebrews 12:5-11. 

SUMMARY:  

Fatherhood and Motherhood are both essential for a child to grow into the fullness of life and grace in Christ Jesus. NATURING + NURTURING = WHOLENESS. 

  1. THE BIBLICAL PATTERN OF FATHERHOOD

1 Corinthians 4:14-16 — Paul says he became their FATHER in Christ, not just a teacher. A father takes RESPONSIBILITY, warns, advises, and becomes an example to be IMITATED. 
Genesis 18:17-19 — God trusted Abraham because he would COMMAND his household to KEEP the WAY of the Lord. 
Hebrews 12:5-11 — A true father chastens, corrects, and trains for righteousness. Without fathering, we lack identity and covering. 

  1. NATURING AND NURTURING ARE BOTH NEEDED

It takes a NATURING Father and a NURTURING Mother for a child to become in fullness. 
Where there is no physical father or mother, there will be LOADS of unanswered questions in a person’s life. 
Father/Mother can be biological, guardian, or by adoption — what matters is that you EXPERIENCE both NATURING and NURTURING, not just one. 

  1. THE HEART OF TRUE FATHERHOOD

Being a father must be free from stereotypes, prejudice, sentiments, and dissimulation. 
Fatherhood is about a heart of love and fellowship. 
Ephesians 3:14-15 — All family in heaven and earth is named of the FATHER. 
Matthew 6:9; John 20:17 — Jesus revealed God as OUR FATHER. 
Isaiah 51:1-2 — Look to Abraham your FATHER — he was blessed and increased.  

FINAL CHARGE: 

ENSURE YOU ARE A FATHER THAT’S NATURING. 
ENSURE YOU HAVE A FATHER THAT’S NATURING YOU. 
BEING A FATHER and BECOMING A FATHER is worth all of living.

ENDEAVOUR TO BE A READER: IT EMANCIPATES, GIVES FREEDOM AND TRIUMPH IN THE GRACE! 

“Let no man DESPISE thy youth; but be thou an EXAMPLE of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 13 Till I come, give ATTENDANCE to READING, to exhortation, to doctrine” 1 Timothy 4:12-13. 

Stop playing dice with your life — endeavour to be a READER. It emancipates, gives FREEDOM and TRIUMPH, and SAVES you from ERRORS and from being MISTAKEN in the grace in Christ Jesus. 

Amen. The TRIUMPHANT Church [which is you that God is building in Christ Jesus] is an INFORMED Church — Make it COUNT and let it ACCOUNT for your good in every way in Christ Jesus. 

For ignorance of the Scriptures and scriptural truth in context breeds falsehoods, counterfeits, distortions, dogmas, perversions, religious sectarianism, adulteration, and the like.  

Jesus will ANSWER most times His enquirers in this wise: ‘HAVE YOU READ’ or ‘HAVE YOU NOT READ’ and ‘WHAT HAVE YOU READ’ [Matthew 12:3, 5; Matthew 19:4; Matthew 22:31]. 
In other words, the QUEST or ENQUIRY they sought an ANSWER to is already available and made plain — if only they have taken time to READ. 

Stupid quests are birthed and bred from ignorance, perversion, distortion, and adulteration. 
And it is difficult and cumbersome to READ and get an ANSWER to DIRE NEEDS when you are in crisis, in a mess, or in bad circumstances. 

That is the reason you need to READ and start READING again ahead of life’s challenges. Otherwise, you might end up with PERVERSIONS or PERVERTED ANSWERS. 

There is already an ANSWER and direction to take for a wholesome solution to those dire needs you are worrying or depressed about, or may likely encounter in time to come. 

READ — I genuinely RECOMMEND — as Jesus told His enquirers. 
Therefore, to stop complaining, blame-gaming, walking in ERRORS, and being MISTAKEN, why not start Reading the Holy Scriptures afresh today, and other books that answer the dire needs and quests in your life? 

For freedom can only apply with ease where knowledge and understanding rule. And true TRIUMPH and FREEDOM are birthed from KNOWLEDGE — otherwise, it is PERVERSION.  

Be BLESSED – Be Empowered to Succeed, Thrive, Achieve, Triumph and Become – as you make a refreshing starts ups to READ; for the TRIUMPHANT Church [you] in Christ Jesus is an INFORMED Church – Make it COUNT and ACCOUNT for your good in every way in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

  1. THE DANGER OF IGNORANCE

Ignorance of Scripture breeds falsehoods, counterfeits, distortions, dogmas, and perversions. 
Matthew 22:29 — “Ye do ERR, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.” 
Most wrong quests and “stupid questions” come from not reading. Waiting until you’re in crisis to look for answers is difficult and often leads to PERVERTED ANSWERS. 

  1. JESUS POINTS US BACK TO THE WORD

Jesus answered enquirers with: ‘HAVE YOU READ’, ‘HAVE YOU NOT READ’, ‘WHAT HAVE YOU READ’ [Matthew 12:3,5; 19:4; 22:31]. 
The ANSWER and DIRECTION for your present and future DIRE NEEDS is already in the Word — if you would READ ahead of time. 

  1. THE REWARD OF READING

Knowledge and understanding rule where freedom applies with ease. 
READING saves you from complaining, blame-gaming, errors, and mistakes. 
It empowers you to Succeed, Thrive, Achieve, Triumph and Become.

THE LOVING OF GOD

THE LOVING OF GOD: WILL CAUSE ALL THINGS TO WORK TOGETHER FOR YOUR GOOD AND PERSONAL REVELATION! 

“And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to them that LOVE God, to them who are the CALLED according to his PURPOSE” Romans 8:28. 

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the HEART of man, the things which God hath PREPARED for them that LOVE him. 10 But God hath REVEALED them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit SEARCHETH all things, yea, the DEEP things of God” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 

Love is the working essence of all things for your good with God. If you want all things – good [good times] or bad [challenging and difficult times] – to work together for your good, then start loving God in spirit [in hearts hearts] and in truth [in His Word]. That’s the earnest way to offer to God worship that’s worthily and services that’s acceptably in the grace. 

“The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit [hearts] and in truth [the word]” John 4:19-24/Emphasis Mine. 

Loving God should be a deliberate and intentional, conscious act from your heart [human spirit] and not from your head; and you need to know full well, with understanding, that God’s love is only poured out and shared abundantly in the human spirit by the Holy Spirit for a genuine expression of God’s love — Romans 5:5, 8. 

And the acknowledgement of this knowing and understanding will cause all things to work together for your good, because you can only offer meaningful worship to God from a heart of love toward Him. 

That is how God can cause you to live with purpose and reveal the real you to you, for meaningful and purposeful living and loving in His grace. 

For the Spirit of God gives man the breath of life and the understanding of life — Zoe, the eternal being of man toward God in humanity. 

“But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding” Job 32:8. 

“The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life” Job 33:4. 

Material instruments like a Stethoscope, Scan devices, X-ray and the like may be useful in human endeavors, yet you cannot detect the human spirit with them, because the human spirit is eternal and not earthly, though it dwells in your body.[bodily] 

Simply put, the spirit of man is the candle or lamp of the Lord, searching and searching out all the inner depths of his heart. Hence, it is only by the spirit that man can truly worship God. 

For the man within the human is a spirit being, he has a soul [the seat of will, intuition, and intellect], and he lives in a body.[eternal][flesh] 

And only by God’s Word can the tripartite being — spirit, soul, and body — be detected, separated, and discerned together at the same time.[triune]  

“The spirit of man is the candle [lamp] of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly [being]” Proverbs 20:27/Emphasis mine. 

“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Thessalonians 5:23. 

“For the WORD of God is quick [alive], and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” Hebrews 4:12-13/Emphasis mine. 

For Faith pleases God and Faith only functions by Love, and when Faith towards God is essence by Love, you’ve gotten hold of God for the release of His blessings upon you. It’s by the faith that pleases God working through love, is the hallmark way to live beyond walls by God in spirit and truth. And the faith that overcomes and brings about victory and triumph in the grace becomes one’s realities in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. 

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by [through] love” Galatians 5:6/Emphasis mine. 

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” Hebrews 11:6 

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5. 

If you are desiring God’s BLESSEDNESS – just LOVE God; for ALL THINGS will work together for your GOODNESS, GRACIOUSNESS and GRACEFULNESS in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

    1 Corinthians 2:9-10 — God has prepared things for those who love Him, and by His Spirit He REVEALS the deep things of God to us.  
  1. Loving God the Right Way

  1. Understanding the Human Spirit 
    Man is a spirit, has a soul, and lives in a body 1 Thessalonians 5:23.  
    The spirit is eternal and cannot be detected by stethoscopes, scans, or X-rays. Proverbs 20:27 calls it “the candle of the Lord.”  
    Only the Word of God can divide and discern spirit, soul, and body Hebrews 4:12-13.  
    It is the Spirit of God that gives breath and understanding — Zoe, eternal life Job 32:8; 33:4. 
  1. Faith That Works by Love 
    Galatians 5:6 — Faith works by love.  
    Hebrews 11:6 — Without faith it is impossible to please God.  
    1 John 5:4-5 — This is the faith that overcomes the world and brings victory.  
    When faith is activated by love, you have hold of God and His blessings are released.

If you are desiring God’s BLESSEDNESS — just LOVE GOD.

HAVING FAITH IN GOD: IS HAVING FAITH IN HIS WORD!

To have FAITH in God, is to have FAITH in His WORD. 
To have FAITH in His WORD is to first BELIEVE in His WORD. 
To BELIEVE in His WORD is to HEAR His WORD and ACT — CONCEIVE accordingly to His WORD. 
Therefore, FAITH IS ACTING ACCORDINGLY ON WHAT YOU BELIEVE [CONCEIVE] FROM THE HEARING OF GOD’S WORD. 

Mountains can be levelled and made plain, Valleys can be exalted and filled, Crooked Roads can be made straight, and Rough Places in life can be made smooth — when we BELIEVE what God has said by His WORD concerning that matter, then ACT accordingly on it. 

YOU DON’T NEED TO FAKE IT TO MAKE IT, OR UNTIL YOU MAKE IT. There’s no room to fake, dilute, or adulterate God’s WORD to make it work. Just BELIEVE and act on it accordingly, and your miraculous needs will be answered effortlessly. 

UNBELIEF is a killer disease to RECEIVING from God. I mean UNBELIEF in the WORD of God. 
BELIEF is of the heart [human spirit] and not of the head [Five Senses]. It’s heart knowledge and not head knowledge. 

THREE REASONS TO CRAVE FOR THE WORD: 

  1. FAITH can only COME by the HEARING of the WORD of God, that is needed to plight in life; and to thrive meaningfully, purposefully and fulfilling – Romans 10:17; Amos 8:11-14; Galatians 3:2-6.
  2. The WORD is of the TRINITY in the Heaven or Heavenly places where your expected blessing are located and comes to you by FAITH – 1 John 5:7; John 1:1-7, 14; Ephesians 1:3.
  3. The Holy Angels, supposedly the ministering agents of God that are there to convey your blessings to you from the heavens, ONLY RESPONDS, that is, ATTENDS or HARKENS to the VOICE of God’s WORD and not to a mere tears or sentiments and emotions – Psalms 103:20, Hebrews 1:7, 14. 

Know for sure and sure that FAITH is ACTING accordingly on what you BELIEVE (CONCEIVE) as a CONSEQUENCE of the HEARING of God’s WORD. 

Therefore, THINK. PONDER. MEDITATE. 

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT: 

“Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? 20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your UNBELIEF: for verily I say unto you, If ye have FAITH as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall SAY unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and NOTHING shall be IMPOSSIBLE unto you” Matthew 17:19-20. 

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, HAVE FAITH IN GOD. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not DOUBT IN HIS HEART, but shall BELIEVE that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, BELIEVE that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” Hebrews 11:22-24. 

“But what saith it? THE WORD is nigh thee, even in THY MOUTH, and in THY HEART: that is, the WORD OF FAITH, which we preach; 9 that if thou shalt CONFESS with THY MOUTH the Lord Jesus, and shalt BELIEVE IN THINE HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with THE HEART MAN BELIEVETH unto righteousness; AND WITH THE MOUTH confession is made unto salvation . . . 17 So then FAITH cometh by HEARING, AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD” Romans 10:8-10, 17. 

SUMMARY: 

Faith in God and faith in His Word are inseparable. Real faith is not pretending or “faking it.” It is hearing God’s Word, believing it in your heart, conceiving it, and acting on it. 

  1. THE DEFINITION OF FAITH
  • FAITH = HEARING + BELIEVING + CONCEIVING + ACTING on God’s Word. 
  • It is heart knowledge, not head/sense knowledge. Romans 10:17 
  • UNBELIEF blocks receiving from God. It is called a “killer disease” to faith. 
  1. WHAT FAITH DOES

When we believe what God says and act on it: 

  • Mountains are levelled, Valleys exalted, Crooked roads made straight, rough places made smooth. Isaiah 40:4 
  • Nothing is impossible Matthew 17:20. 
  • You don’t need to fake, dilute, or adulterate the Word. Just BELIEVE and ACT, and God answers effortlessly. 
  1. THREE REASONS TO CRAVE THE WORD
  • Faith comes by hearing the Word — We need it to survive and thrive in life Romans 10:17; Amos 8:11-14. 
  • The Word is of the TRINITY — Your blessings are located in heavenly places and come to you by faith in the Word 1 John 5:7; Ephesians 1:3. 
  • Angels respond to the Word — Ministering spirits only hearken to and attend the voice of God’s Word, not to tears or emotions Psalms 103:20; Hebrews 1:14. 
  1. SCRIPTURAL ANCHORS
  • Matthew 17:19-20: Unbelief stops miracles. Faith as a mustard seed moves mountains. 
  • Mark 11:22-24: Have faith in God. Believe in your heart, say it with your mouth, doubt not, and you will have it. 
  • Romans 10:8-10, 17: The Word of Faith is in your mouth and heart. We believe with the heart and confess with the mouth unto salvation. Faith comes by hearing the Word. 

FINAL CHARGE: THINK. PONDER. MEDITATE. 

Faith is acting accordingly on what you believe because you heard God’s Word. 
Stop living by senses and sentiments. Live by the Word. That’s how you receive from God. 

One Line Summary: 
God’s Word produces faith in the heart. When we believe it and act on it, we see God move mountains, and Heaven responds to us.

BEING DISCIPLINED THROUGH GOD’S MIRROR OF LOVE: IT IS GOD’S LOVE PACT FOR HIS REDEEMED CHILDREN! 

“And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: My son, do not DESPISE the CHASTENING of the Lord, Nor be DISCOURAGED when you are REBUKED by Him; 6 For whom the Lord LOVES He CHASTENS, And SCOURGES every son whom He RECEIVES. 7 If you endure CHASTENING, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not CHASTEN?” Hebrews 12:5-7. 

God LOVES You – you must ENDURE His DISCIPLINES when they SHOW up. It is for your OWN good and good living in Christ Jesus stead. For God discipline only those He loves, to bring out the best in them for fruitful character and behaviour by His grace. Discipline is God’s way of pruning us to be fruitful in His will and purpose. 

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that BEARETH NOT FRUIT HE TAKETH AWAY: and every branch that BEARETH FRUIT, he PURGETH it, that it may BRING FORTH MORE FRUIT. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing . . . 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye BEAR MUCH FRUIT; so shall ye be my disciples . . 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your FRUIT SHOULD REMAIN: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you” John 15:1-16. 

Living and walking in God’s love also connotes, endorses, embraces, and embodies the act of being DISCIPLINED. Meaning God will discipline any of His REDEEMED children whom He loves, in order to bring out His very best in them and to give them the life of worth they crave. This is part of the LOVE PACT (covenant) of God. 

The reason is that the redemptive LIBERTY – that is, the FREEDOM we have in Christ Jesus – is not an OCCASION for one to live and walk in the flesh or in sin, instead, it is to LIVE and WALK in GOD’S LOVE. Simply put, there is no such thing as ‘it doesn’t matter what I do, as long as God loves me’. NO, it does matter, because those whom God LOVES, He DISCIPLINES. But if you are without discipline, then you are bastards or illegitimate children and not sons – which you are not. 

“If you endure CHASTENING, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not CHASTEN? 8 But if you are without CHASTENING, of which all have BECOME PARTAKERS, then you are ILLEGITIMATE and not sons” Hebrews 12:7-8. 

It is my earnest PRAYER that you live within the LOVE of God in Christ Jesus stead; and for any reason you may stray, may you be able to embrace the discipline of God without resistance, so that you can experience the fulness of God that is at work for your good in every way. 1 John 1:5-10. 

May the grace of God and the BLESSEDNESS of His love through discipline rest upon you, in the grace and faith of our Saviour, Lord and King, Jesus Christ. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING: THE NEED TO DEAL WITH THE WARNING SIGNS ON LUSTS AND AFFECTIONS – THE CRAVINGS OF THE FLESH! 

God LOVES and CARES for your total wellbeing – spirit, soul, and body. You also need to take a stand to ENSURE it is whole for your good and goodness, and to be ASSURED now and always, as you do life and live godly in Christ Jesus’ stead. 

In the current atmosphere of the internet and the multiverse multimedia world, the depraved state of human perception is undeniable by every measure. As such, there is an urgent need to ADDRESS THE WARNING SIGNS ON LUSTS AND AFFECTIONS, ANDTHE EARNEST CRAVINGS OF THE FLESH, which are affecting the total wellbeing of man: SPIRIT, SOUL, AND BODY. 

Hence, the SCRIPTURES mentioned and given below are worthy of all earnest reading and pondering for your emancipation by the grace of Christ Jesus stead. 

BE BLESSED 

“Do not love the world [of sin that opposes God and His precepts], nor the things that are in the world. WELCOME TO MONTH SEVEN [7] – JULY 2026: THE MONTH OF “ASSURED HOPE” – TO GLORY IN CHRIST JESUS’ STEAD IN BLESSEDNESS! 

SHALOM and KINGDOM GREETINGS, Beloved of God, in the gracious and graceful NAME of our dear Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, in Father God. In Christ Jesus, I am SPIRITED to HEARTILY welcome you to the Month of JULY – the seventh month of the Gregorian and Julian Calendar, in the year of the Lord, in GRACE. And the Month of JULY 2026 is entitled: “ASSURED HOPE” IN CHRIST JESUS! This is about ensuring “The graciousness and blessedness of HOPE in Christ Jesus’ stead” to the Believers of God in doing life and living godly in the GRACE. 

The Month of JULY is the SEVENTH of the TWELVE months of the year in the JULIAN and GREGORIAN calendars, and the FOURTH of the seven months to have a length of 31 days. And SEVEN, in count, thus indicates and signifies the following: Completeness, Wholeness, Maturity, Fullness, Fulfilment, Fruitfulness, Meaningfulness, Purposefulness, Perfectness, and such like – in God’s GRACE and BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen. 

So, I sincerely WELCOME you to the Month of JULY 2026: The Month of “ASSURED HOPE!” – To enable us to GLORY In Christ Jesus’ stead in GRACIOUSNESS and BLESSEDNESS, as it is written:

 It is my earnest, heartfelt prayer that at the point of receiving this July 2026 AFD Monthly TEACHING Publication writ, all things might have come under your feet and control, and that you are in charge of every circumstance that pertains to you – in doing life and living godly in the GRACE in Christ Jesus’ stead.  And I pray that in this Month of JULY, in the year of the Lord, you can lift up your head, shoulders high, and put on the HIGH HEELS OF FAITH that are substantiated by HOPE, as you go about enjoying serving and worshipping our God in Christ Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit of Hope. And this will also enable you, through the WORD, to serve God in Christ Jesus acceptably, and to worship Him worthily in the same manner, in the GRACE – without distortion, adulteration, or counterfeits; and without sentiments, prejudice, or dissimulation. Moreover, the possibility in the GRACE of Christ Jesus’ stead is by abounding in the threshold of our service and worship in the GRACE, which are: The Patience of HOPE, the work of FAITH, and the labour of LOVE. And these bring ASSURED ASSURANCE in the GRACE that is beyond words and terms, and beyond human comprehension, it is as written: 

 “We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, 3 Remembering without ceasing your work of FAITH, labour of LOVE, and patience of HOPE in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, 4 knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God. 5 For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake” 1 Thessalonians 1:3-5. 

 And may the GRACIOUSNESS and BLESSEDNESS of our Father and GOD OF HOPE cause you to abound in HOPE and be hopeful in all your expectations, with the needed speed and ASSURANCE in Christ Jesus’ stead, in the GRACE. Amen. 

 I pray that as we explore the enabling of our God in the ASSURED HOPE in Christ Jesus, you will live to testify of the GLORY in the GRACE in Christ Jesus’ stead, in GRACIOUSNESS and BLESSEDNESS, as you do life and live godly.
