THE EFFECTIVE FAITH THAT WORKS: IT’S THE FAITH THAT SUBSTANTIATES IN HOPE!

May 27, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE EFFECTIVE FAITH THAT WORKS: IT’S THE FAITH THAT SUBSTANTIATES IN HOPE!

“Now FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things HOPED for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1.

The FAITH that works and that’s EFFECTUAL – EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT – is the FAITH that SUBSTANTIATES in HOPE. Hence COMMUNICATE your FAITH in HOPE.

“Let us HOLD FAST the CONFESSION OF OUR HOPE without WAVERING, for He who promised is faithful” Hebrews 10:23/NKJV.

“But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. 10 For God is not UNJUST [UNRIGHTEOUS, UNFAITHFUL, UNGRATEFUL] to forget your WORK and LABOR of LOVE which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that each one of you show the SAME DILIGENCE to the FULL ASSURANCE OF HOPE until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through FAITH and PATIENCE inherit the promises” Hebrews 6:9-12/NKJV.

And by the PATIENCE of HOPE, you can keep FAITH thriving in the midst of all odds, as you LABOUR in LOVE to SERVE in GRACE.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; 3 remembering without ceasing your WORK OF FAITH, AND LABOUR OF LOVE, AND PATIENCE OF HOPE in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; 4 knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God. 5 FOR OUR GOSPEL CAME NOT UNTO YOU IN WORD ONLY, BUT ALSO IN POWER, AND IN THE HOLY GHOST, AND IN MUCH ASSURANCE; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake” 1 Thessalonians 1:2-5.

“Therefore being JUSTIFIED BY FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 by whom also we have ACCESS BY FAITH into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God . . . 5 and HOPE maketh not ASHAMED; because the LOVE of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” Romans 5:1-5.

“I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, 5 hearing of thy LOVE and FAITH, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; 6 that the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus” Philemon 4-6.

“Therefore it is of FAITH, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, 17 (as it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. 18 WHO AGAINST HOPE BELIEVED IN HOPE, THAT HE MIGHT BECOME THE FATHER OF MANY NATIONS; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19 AND BEING NOT WEAK IN FAITH, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: 20 he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was STRONG IN FAITH, giving glory to God; 21 and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform . . .” Romans 4:16-25.

THE EFFECTIVE FAITH THAT WORKS: IT’S THE FAITH THAT WORKS THROUGH LOVE AND SERVES BY LOVE!

“For IN Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but FAITH which WORKS by LOVE… 13 For, brethren, ye have been CALLED unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by LOVE SERVE one another” Galatians 5:6, 13.

THE EFFECTUAL FAITH

May 27, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE EFFECTUAL FAITH: THE FAITH THAT WORKS – IS BY ACTING CORRESPONDINGLY ON YOUR BELIEVE OF GOD’S WORD!

“My son, give ATTENTION to MY WORDS; INCLINE YOUR EAR TO MY SAYINGS. 21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; 22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. 23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life” Proverbs 4:20-23/NKJV

Faith in the WORD or the SAYINGS of God makes all the difference. FAITH is ACTING correspondingly on your BELIEVE on and in the WORD – the SAYINGS of God. FAITH is not BELIEVE and there’s no FAITH at work until you ACT on that which you BELIEVE of God. Meaning NO ACTING ON THE WORD, NO FAITH, hence NO RESULTS!

Faith is the only legal and vital tender to obtain from the Father God. Any other process or means is illegal, counterfeit and criminal. FAITH IS NOT A DOCTRINE or CREED or DOGMAS or PHILOSOPHY or TRADITION or CULTURE. It’s not an assumption or presumption. It’s ACTING on trust in God’s Word or sayings without an iota of doubt or disbelief.

If you BELIEVE and don’t ACT on it, you’ve not endorsed FAITH. If you confess or declare as religion enjoins us and you don’t act accordingly, there’s no faith and you receive not from God. You may receive from men, but not from God.

The FAITH that WORKS and that’s effectual – EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT – is the faith communicated in hope. Hence communicate your faith in hope, as it’s written:

“Now FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1.

Also, the FAITH that WORKS and that’s effectual – EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT – is the faith communicated in hope through love as it’s written:

“. . . But FAITH which WORKS by LOVE” Galatians 5:6.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, 5 hearing of thy LOVE and FAITH, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; 6 that the COMMUNICATION OF THY FAITH may become EFFECTUAL by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:4-6.

“But without FAITH (acting on what you believe of God’s WORD) it is impossible to PLEASE (receive answers from) Him (God), for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” Hebrews 11:6/Emphasis mine.

Further Scriptural Read – Hebrews 11:1-3; Habakkuk 2:4; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Romans 14:23; Proverbs 4:20-23; 1 Corinthians 13.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises that true faith is not just a mental assent or passive belief, but an active trust in God’s Word that leads to action. It’s about acting on what you believe about God’s Word, without doubt or disbelief.

Key Points

  • Faith is acting correspondingly on your believe of God’s Word (Proverbs 4:20-23).
  • Faith is not just believing, it’s acting on what you believe (Hebrews 11:6).
  • Faith is the only legal and vital tender to obtain from God (Hebrews 11:6).
  • Faith is not a doctrine, creed, or dogma, but acting on trust in God’s Word.
  • The faith that works is communicated in hope (Hebrews 11:1) and through love (Galatians 5:6).

Scriptural Emphasis

  • References Proverbs 4:20-23, Hebrews 11:1, 6, Galatians 5:6, and Philemon 1:4-6, highlighting the importance of acting on faith, and communicating faith in hope and love.

Main Takeaways

  • Faith without action is no faith at all.
  • Acting on God’s Word is the key to receiving from God.
  • Faith is effective when communicated in hope and love.
  • True faith is a vital, active, and effectual force that produces results.

JUNE 2026 THEME – “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”

June 1, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

JUNE 2026 THEME – “HAVE FAITH IN GOD”: THE NEED TO “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD!

“God is FAITHFUL [He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise—He can be depended on], and through Him you were called into FELLOWSHIP with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:9/Amplified.

To “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” is to trust in God’s faithfulness to Himself, reflecting His nature faithfulness through the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Our God is FAITHFUL – that is His NATURE. He’s a God of FAITHFULNESS – He lives within Himself – His NATURE – being FAITHFUL in FAITHFULNESS in the grace. And as such, in achieving life’s goals with God in Christ Jesus stead, it would be great for you to look at the nature of God regarding FAITHFULNESS as found of Him. And having Faith in God as a Faithful God gives the leverage in doing life and living godly in the grace. And it also encompasses God’s faithfulness to keep to His promises and covenant TO you in Christ Jesus stead, in the grace.

“FAITHFUL and ABSOLUTELY TRUSTWORTHY is He who is CALLING you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will FULFILL His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own]” 1 Thessalonians 5:24/Amplified.

“Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY and FAITHFUL [to His word]” Hebrews 10:23/Amplified.

“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy FAITHFULNESS to all generations. 2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy FAITHFULNESS shalt thou establish in the very heavens. 3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, 4 thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. 5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy FAITHFULNESS also in the congregation of the saints . . .” Psalms 89:1-52.

There’s the need to note this importantly, that God DOES not have direct promises or covenant as some would like to proclaim WITH us; but He DOES have direct promises or covenant TO us and FOR us IN Christ Jesus stead. Meaning, that God DOES have promises and covenant WITH Jesus Christ, on our behalf in the grace. This highlights the IMPORTANCE of having FAITH IN Christ Jesus toward the Father God, from whom ALL BLESSEDNESS comes, as Christ Jesus is the embodiment of our redemption rights and privileges in the grace. So, when we talk about God’s covenants and promises, they ARE NOT DIRECTLY with us, but with Jesus, on our behalf, to us, in the grace. This understanding is key, as seen in the book of Philemon and other New Testament Scriptures, emphasising faith toward God in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“That the COMMUNICATION of thy FAITH may become effectual by the ACKNOWLEDGING of EVERY GOOD THING which is IN you IN Christ Jesus” Philemon 1:6.

“How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, 21 testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, REPENTANCE toward God and FAITH toward our Lord Jesus Christ” Acts 20:20-21/NKJV.

“But as God is FAITHFUL, our word to you was not Yes and No. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was PREACHED among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was YES. 20 For all the PROMISES of God in Him are YES, and in Him AMEN, to the glory of God through us. 21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee” 2 Corinthians 1:18-22/NKJV.

Here are some attributes of God in His faithful nature and faithfulness; this is to enable us see the reason and gracious essence to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” as in this writ context but not limited to:

  1. God is FAITHFUL to Himself. 2 Timothy 2:13.
  2. God is FAITHFUL to His Word and promises. Hebrews 10:23.
  3. God is FAITHFUL to His relationship. 1 Corinthians 1:9; Hebrews 8:28-30.
  4. God is FAITHFUL to forgive. 1 John 1:9 (5-10).
  5. God is FAITHFUL in agreement. Deuteronomy 7:9.
  6. God is FAITHFUL to establish and deliver. 1 Corinthians 10:13, 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
  7. God is FAITHFUL to accomplish His part in the assignment that He gives to us. 1 Thessalonians 5:24.
  8. God is the/a FAITHFUL creator. 1 Peter 4:19.

God is FAITHFUL, and His FAITHFULNESS is ever sure and true as in the Holy Writ. You need to take time to search the scriptures and find God everywhere therein. So, I encourage you to kindly read the HOLY BIBLE to know more of Him, in being faithful and how to walk in faith as shown in scriptures like:

“You SEARCH the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which TESTIFY of Me” John 5:39/NKJV.

“Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God” Matthew 22:29/NKJV.

“Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and SEARCHED the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. 12 Therefore many of them believed, and also not a few of the Greeks, prominent women as well as men” Acts 17:10-13.

One thing is certain in life and that is – LIKE BEGAT LIKE. A tree doesn’t give birth to an animal or mammal. A Lion doesn’t give birth to a Leopard, nor a Goat give birth to a Sheep even in their proximity of likeness or characteristics. And our God of godliness, wants His redeemed children of godliness to do life and live godly in the grace in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

“Grace and peace be MULTIPLIED unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 according as his DIVINE POWER hath GIVEN unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto LIFE and GODLINESS, through the knowledge of him that hath CALLED us to glory and virtue: 4 whereby are GIVEN unto us EXCEEDING GREAT and PRECIOUS PROMISES: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” 2 Peter 1:2-4.

One need to know full well that we are the offspring of God, the sheep of His pasture according to the Scriptures – [[Acts 17:24-29; Psalms 100:3; 1 John 4:17-18); (John 10:34-35; Psalms 82:6; Genesis 3:5)]. It then means that we can live a FAITHFUL life and achieve good successes with God when we dare. The other reason that we can achieve success is because we are the seed of Abraham – who was FAITHFUL and prospered when he dares. The same grace is available to us today despite our challenges to be FAITHFUL and to prosper in Christ Jesus stead. 2 Peter 1:2-4; Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29. (See Genesis 13:2; 24:1).

Considering the above-mentioned nature of God in being FAITHFUL, you can bank on His FAITHFULNESS in His grace and BLESSEDNESS; this will give you the enabling leverage to abound the more, in sharing and partaking of His promises in the REDEMPTION DEED, in Christ Jesus stead. Amen. And you can now have a reason to see the need to “HAVE FAITH IN GOD” in Christ Jesus stead, in the grace.

Be Blessed accordingly. Amen.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH READING AND PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. 13 And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 14 In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His disciples heard it . . . 20 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21 And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.” 22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “HAVE FAITH IN GOD. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart [Human Spirit], but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, BELIEVE that you receive them, and you will have them” Mark 11:12-14, 20-24/NKJV.

“When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” 28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you BELIEVE that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH LET IT BE [BECOME] TO YOU.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.” 31 But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country” Matthew 9:27-31/NKJV.

“Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY HIS FAITH” Habakkuk 2:4 [Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38]/NKJV.

“But what does it say? “The WORD is near you, in your mouth and in your heart [spirit-being]” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and BELIEVE in your heart [spirit-being] that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart [spirit-being] one BELIEVES unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever BELIEVES on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no DISTINCTION between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is RICH TO ALL who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” Romans 10:8-13/NKJV.

“Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. 3 By FAITH we understand that the worlds were framed by THE WORD of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible . . . 6 But without FAITH it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” Hebrews 11:1-3, 6/NKJV.

“O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? 2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or BY THE HEARING OF FAITH? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? 4 Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? 5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or BY THE HEARING OF FAITH?— 6 just as Abraham “BELIEVED God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would JUSTIFY the Gentiles by FAITH, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “IN YOU ALL THE NATIONS SHALL BE BLESSED.” 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham” Galatians 3:1-9/NKJV

BEING RAISED TO BECOME IN GROWTH

May 26, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

BEING RAISED TO BECOME IN GROWTH: THAT’S THE PATH OF MATURED, SPIRITED HEARTED LIFE!

“If You Are Not RAISED, You Will Soon Be ERASED Out Of The RACE” – Rev Dr Favour Adeshina

“But GROW [spiritually MATURE] in the GRACE and KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory (honor, majesty, splendor), both now and to the day of eternity. Amen” 2 Peter 3:18 Amplified.

You are either RAISED to BECOME in GROWTH or you just GREW and GROWN to BECOME without being RAISED to MATURITY – and it’s this difference that makes the impact in life. A MATURED spirited HEARTED person is the result of being RAISED in GROWTH. It’s a cause for HUMILITY that brings about EXALTATION.  Otherwise, pride, arrogance, immaturity, and limitations traces show up because there was no cultivation – of being RAISED to MATURITY in GROWTH.

Hence, you can see a grown adult by age and size, still lacking the ADULTHOOD principles of ACCOUNTABILITY and RESPONSIBILITY in places of expectations, because POSITIONS test will reveal and bring forth the TRUE NATURE in CHARACTER and MATURITY.

You see these effect manifesting in places of opportunities like: Governance, Marital Relationships, Career Opportunities, Workplace Positions and Inter-Job Relationships, Leadership Positions, Ministerial etiquette and Conduct tests, Family Relationships and more. Maturity is not just about growing, but about being raised to become more.

Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord, was BORN as a CHILD, but as a SON, He was MADE to BECOME what He’s to us. He did not just GROW, He submitted Himself to be RAISED through learning and obedience to the necessary guidance for His EXALTATION. Luke 2:44-52.

Being RAISED, He was MADE to BECOME to fulfil PURPOSE. Being MADE as a son, He was GIVEN for our REDEMPTION, fulfilling the cause and purpose for which He came into the world. That’s what stands Him out from all.

Trace His path on earth with God, His natural parents and dealings with others in Ministry. For thirty years, He submitted Himself to be RAISED to GROW and MATURE for the CALLED PURPOSE. Being MADE and ready, He was GIVEN for the undeniable gracious and graceful three and a half years Ministry, fulfilling His given cause and eternal purpose on the earth. Philippians 2:5-11; Luke 1:41-52.

There’s no great person that have outlasted the history of his time who just GREW without being RAISED to BECOME in GROWTH. The great and envied sustainable people with courtesy in character were raised by many factors of life that came their way, making them become the envy of others, epitome of trust, confidence, and history. Hence, you see in them humility, diligence, faithfulness, service, sacrifice, responsibility, accountability and dedication to their causes and purposes. Unlike some who lack the matured hearted growth of being raised and are full of arrogance, pride, selfishness, wickedness, immaturity, controversy and such like immature childish behaviour – no matter their attainments in life.

Are you RAISED in GROWTH to BECOME? Are you being RAISED to BECOME in GROWTH? Or did you just GROW to BECOME without being RAISED in GROWTH?

You need to take a purse and think through which and where you belong momentarily. You need to watch your track and path of life – that will tell you WHAT YOU ARE, WHERE YOU ARE, and WHAT YOU MAY LIKELY BE or HAD BECOME.

It’s WORTH being RAISED to BECOME in life and godliness. It’s wise to SUBMIT for GUIDANCE, TUTORING, MENTORING, and more, to be RAISED as you GROW in life and grace, in God’s BLESSEDNESS in Christ Jesus stead.

It will pay up greater dividend if you are HUMBLE enough in it. Being raised saves you from PRIDE that GOES before a FALL and STUPIDITY – 1 Peter 5:5-6; James 4:7-10.

IS WORTH BEING RAISED IN GROWTH TO BECOME IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD. AMEN.

BE BLESSED.

SELAH – PAUSE AND THINK!

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“But the PATH of the JUST (RIGHTEOUS) is as the shining light, that SHINES MORE AND MORE unto the PERFECT (DAWN) day.” Proverbs 4:18 (Emphasis Mine).

“Likewise you YOUNGER people, submit yourselves to your ELDERS. Yes, all of you be SUBMISSIVE to one another, and be clothed with HUMILITY, for “God RESISTS THE PROUD, But GIVES GRACE to the HUMBLE. 6 HUMBLE yourselves therefore UNDER the mighty hand of God, that he may EXALT you in due time” 1 Peter 5:5-6.

“SUBMIT yourselves therefore to God. RESIST the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 DRAW NIGH to God, and he will DRAW NIGH to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10 HUMBLE yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall LIFT you up” James 4:7-10.

“Let this MIND be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 but MADE himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a SERVANT, and was MADE in the likeness of men: 8 and being found in fashion as a man, he HUMBLED himself, and became OBEDIENT unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath HIGHLY EXALTED him, and GIVEN him a name which is ABOVE every name: 10 that at the NAME of Jesus every KNEE should BOW, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 and that every TONGUE should CONFESS that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” Philippians 2:5-11.

“. . . 21 For even HEREUNTO were ye CALLED: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an EXAMPLE, that ye should FOLLOW his steps: 22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but COMMITTED himself to him that JUDGETH righteously . . .” 1Peter 2:1-25.

“Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are DULL of hearing. 12 For when for the time ye OUGHT to be teachers, ye have need that one TEACH you again which be the FIRST PRINCIPLES of the oracles of God; and are BECOME such as have NEED of milk, and not of STRONG meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is UNSKILFUL in the WORD of righteousness: for he is a BABE. 14 But STRONG MEAT belongeth to them that are of FULL age (MATURE, GROWN), even those who by reason of use have their SENSES exercised to DISCERN both good and evil” Hebrews 5:11-14 (Emphasis Mine).

“By HUMILITY and the FEAR (REVERENTIAL FEAR) of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life” Proverbs 22:4 Emphasis Mine.

“The FEAR of the Lord is the INSTRUCTION of wisdom; and before HONOUR is HUMILITY” Proverbs 15:33.

“Before DESTRUCTION the HEART of man is HAUGHTY, and before HONOUR is HUMILITY” Proverbs 18:12.

“Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. 42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. 43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. 44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day’s journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. 45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. 46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, SITTING IN THE MIDST OF THE DOCTORS, BOTH HEARING THEM, AND ASKING THEM QUESTIONS. 47 And all that heard him were astonished at his UNDERSTANDING and ANSWERS. 48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? WIST YE NOT THAT I MUST BE ABOUT MY FATHER’S BUSINESS? 50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. 51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. 52 And Jesus INCREASED in WISDOM and STATURE, and in FAVOUR with God and man” Luke 2:41-52.

IT’S BIBLE STUDY TIME ON FRUITFULNESS

May 21, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

IT’S BIBLE STUDY TIME ON FRUITFULNESS: A SCRIPTURAL INSIGHT ON – SPIRITUAL FRUIT BEARING!

God desires FRUITFULNESS for all His children. Unfruitfulness is not of God. God is a thriving and blossoming God and delights to see His own walk and live in this covenant right of bearing fruit.

Spiritual growth and fruitfulness prove our connection with God’s Spirit – with dedication and devotion. Being Born Again and Spirit-filled isn’t just biblical; it’s essential for spiritual growth and development. God hates stagnancy. It’s either we are HOT or COLD, not LUKEWARM with God – Revelations 3:15-16. For this reason, Jesus cursed the blossoming fig tree for having no fruit; and there’s scriptural woe on any, who stays at ease in Zion, the Church of God – Mark 11:12-14, 20-21; Amos 6:1, Hebrews 12:22-24.

God promised to give every single grass in the field the needed rain for fruitfulness – Zechariah 10:1. God pours out His Spirit upon His Children so they would be fruitful. I encourage you to take advantage of this great God given opportunity, in fulfilling prophecy as written – Joel 2:28-30; Acts 1:8; Luke 24:49.

It is a great blemish to remain unfruitful in Zion, the Church of God – Isaiah 4:1; Genesis 29:32; 1 Samuel 1:6; Obadiah 1:17; Hebrews 12:22-24.

This study reminds us of the necessity to bear fruit as God’s heritage, not just any fruit, but fruit reflecting God’s image and likeness.

The full PDF printable study is by clicking the link for your perusal:

https://www.redemptionlifeinternational.org/spiritual…/

Be Blessed as you make time to get through the study for your own fruitfulness in Christ Jesus stead. Amen.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHT WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. 9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. 11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. 12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another” John 15:1-17/NKJV.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises God’s desire for FRUITFULNESS in His children. Unfruitfulness is not of God; He’s a thriving and blossoming God. Spiritual growth and fruitfulness prove our connection with God’s Spirit, requiring dedication and devotion. Being Born Again and Spirit-filled is essential for growth.

Key points include:

  • God hates stagnancy; it’s either we’re HOT or COLD, not LUKEWARM (Revelations 3:15-16).
  • Jesus cursed the fig tree for lacking fruit (Mark 11:12-14, 20-21); woe to those at ease in Zion (Amos 6:1, Hebrews 12:22-24).
  • God promises rain for fruitfulness (Zechariah 10:1) and pours out His Spirit for fruitfulness.
  • Remaining unfruitful in Zion is a great blemish.
  • We must bear fruit reflecting God’s image and likeness.

The message encourages tapping into God’s Spirit for fruitfulness, fulfilling prophecy (Joel 2:28-30, Acts 1:8, Luke 24:49). John 15:1-17 is referenced, highlighting abiding in Christ for fruitfulness.

SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES

May 21, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES: IT ANSWERS THE HUMAN QUESTS IN CHRIST JESUS STEAD!

“And now, brethren, I COMMEND you to God, and to THE WORD of His GRACE, which is able to BUILD you up, and to GIVE you an INHERITANCE among all them which are SANCTIFIED” Acts 20:32.

“SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES; for in them ye think ye have ETERNAL LIFE: and they are they which testify of me” John 5:39.

“It is the GLORY of God to CONCEAL a thing: but the HONOUR of kings is to SEARCH out a matter” Proverbs 25:2 (Revelation 1:5-6; Revelation 5:9-10).

“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were MORE NOBLE than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES DAILY, whether those things were so. 12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few” Acts 17:10-12.

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do ERR (MISTAKEN), not KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES, nor the POWER of God” Matthew 22:29 (Emphasis Mine).

“Study to shew thyself APPROVED unto God, a workman that NEEDETH NOT TO BE ASHAMED, rightly dividing the word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15.

“But CONTINUE thou in the things which thou hast LEARNED and hast been ASSURED of, knowing of whom thou hast LEARNED them; 15 and that from a child thou hast KNOWN the HOLY SCRIPTURES, which are ABLE to MAKE thee WISE unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All SCRIPTURE is given by INSPIRATION of God, and is PROFITABLE for doctrine, for REPROOF, for CORRECTION, for INSTRUCTION in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be PERFECT (MATURED, WHOLE, COMPLETE), throughly FURNISHED unto all good works“ 2 Timothy 4:14-17 (Emphasis Mine).

“For WHATSOEVER things were WRITTEN aforetime were WRITTEN for our LEARNING, that we through PATIENCE and COMFORT of the SCRIPTURES might have HOPE” Romans 15:4.

THE BLESSEDNESS OF GOD

May 21, 2026 By Pastor Chukie Leave a Comment

THE BLESSEDNESS OF GOD: IT’S THE GIVEN AND ENTRUSTED ENABLING OF GRACE – MADE AVAILABLE TO ENRICH YOU IN CHRIST JESUS’ STEAD!

“THE BLESSING of the Lord BRINGS [TRUE] RICHES, and He ADDS NO SORROW to it [for it comes as a BLESSING from God]” Proverbs 10:22/Amplified.

” . . . 3 BLESSED be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who HAS BLESSED US with every spiritual BLESSING in the heavenly PLACES in Christ . . .” Ephesians 1:1-12/NKJV.

It’s high time to HARNESS in grace by faith, your FAITH walk with God in Christ Jesus’ stead, to live unhindered in the ABOVE ONLY realms of doing life and living godly. The BLESSEDNESS of God is a GIVEN and is ENTRUSTED to all that are born of God in Christ Jesus’ stead; and it’s AVAILABLE to all to enact and authenticate with no personal or group limitations; it’s without sentiments, prejudice and dissimulation (hypocrisy) as it’s of our redemption deeds of rights and privileges in the Kingdom for the kingdom cause of our God.

“Opening his mouth, Peter said: “Most certainly I understand now that God is NOT one to SHOW partiality [to people as though Gentiles were excluded from God’s BLESSING], 35 but in EVERY NATION the person who fears God and does what is right [by seeking Him] is ACCEPTABLE and WELCOMED by Him” Acts 10:34-35/Amplified.

And our God of promise and provider is faithful, true, sure, trustworthy and committed to ensure your rights and privileges in Him are not denied by any factors, be it – human placement, geographical location, tongue, tribes and gender, etc. For His BLESSEDNESS is unto all who call upon His name and are always in the YES and AMEN, without a doubt and no to His WORD.

“And they sung a NEW song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast REDEEMED US to God by thy blood out of every KINDRED, and TONGUE, and PEOPLE, and NATION; 10 and hast MADE US unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth” Revelation 5:9-10.

“Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall RECEIVE the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the PROMISE is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, EVEN AS MANY AS the Lord our God shall CALL” Acts 2:38-39.

And the BLESSEDNESS of God is given and entrusted to all, and it’s available to you today for an onward and upward trajectory in Christ Jesus’ stead. And it’s for the following reasons but not limited for you to enact and authenticate in grace by faith. Here are some reasons for this given, entrusted and available BLESSEDNESS of God:

  •  That you have in all sufficiency and abundance for yourself – wanting nothing – thereby giving God thanks in Christ Jesus. [Philippians 4:17, 19; Ephesians 1:3; 2 Corinthians 8:9/(NIV/LB); John 10:10; 3 John 2].
  •  That the Gospel might advance in grace, and the enemy and cohorts kept at bay without limitations. [Luke 8:1-3; Zechariah 1:17; Haggai 2:6-9].
  •  That you have plenty, enough, and leftovers to give to others in great needs without murmuring, withholding, or complaining. [Galatians 6:1-9; Hebrews 6:9-12. Luke 6:38].
  •  To make you, the saints in Christ Jesus, to abide in the FAITH – for poverty takes and sway people away from the FAITH. Especially in their seeking answers to basic necessities of life and more, they thereby fall prey of ungodly, evil and dubious ways to prosper and achieve the desired needs and greatness. [Psalms 23:6; John 15:4-8; Psalms 112:1-3].
  •  To help cleanse the Church of evil and wickedness and such like; POVERTY itself and POVERTY mentality lead to stealing, robbery, bribery, etc. [Proverbs 30:7-9; Psalms 112:3; Psalms 89:20-29, 34].
  •  To keep and ESTABLISH the righteous in DOMINION – as overcomers, victorious, triumphant and more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus’ stead. [Ecclesiastes 9:13-18; Ecclesiastes 7:12].
  •  To establish, enact and authenticate His covenant as promised in Christ Jesus. [Deuteronomy 8:18; Psalms 89:34; Galatians 3:13-14, 26-29; Jeremiah 33:20-21, 25-26; James 1:17].

These and many, as may be revealed to you by the Holy Spirit within, indicate God’s graciousness and gracefulness in Christ Jesus  – to see you do life and live godly in righteousness, in the kingdom, on this side of the heavenly in our earthly temporary domain. The whole concept is the essence of you knowing and understanding your RIGHTS and PRIVILEGES In REDEMPTION in Christ Jesus’ stead. Amen.

Now that you know that the BLESSEDNESS of God is a GIVEN and ENTRUSTED, and also AVAILABLE for you in grace, what manner of person OUGHT you to become in your path of doing life and living godly in Christ Jesus’ stead? This is to help you to be fulfilled meaningfully the purposefully while you are ENDOWED and ENTRUSTED with God’s BLESSEDNESS.

SELAH – PAUSE and THINK.

SCRIPTURAL THOUGHTS WORTH PONDERING IN CONTEXT:

“Even as Abraham BELIEVED God, and it was ACCOUNTED to him for righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. 8 And the scripture, FORESEEING that God would JUSTIFY the heathen through faith, PREACHED before the GOSPEL unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall ALL NATIONS be BLESSED. 9 So then they which be of FAITH ARE BLESSED with FAITHFUL Abraham . . . 13 Christ hath REDEEMED US from the curse of the law, being MADE a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 that THE BLESSING of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might RECEIVE THE PROMISE of the Spirit through faith . . . 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is NEITHER Jew nor Greek, there is NEITHER bond nor free, there is NEITHER male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and HEIRS according to the PROMISE” Galatians 3:6-9, 13-14, 26-29.

“Let us HOLD FAST the profession of our faith without wavering; FOR HE IS FAITHFUL THAT PROMISED” Hebrews 10:23.

“God is FAITHFUL, by whom ye were CALLED unto the FELLOWSHIP of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” 1 Corinthians 1:9.

“. . . 3 BLESSED be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath BLESSED us with all spiritual BLESSINGS in heavenly places in Christ: 4 according as he hath CHOSEN US in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 having PREDESTINATED US unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath MADE US accepted in the beloved. 7 in whom we have REDEMPTION through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 wherein he hath ABOUNDED TOWARD US in all wisdom and prudence; 9 having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 that in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 in whom also we have OBTAINED AN INHERITANCE, being PREDESTINATED according to the PURPOSE of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his OWN will: 12 that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ” Ephesians 1:1-12.

“Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have OBTAINED LIKE PRECIOUS FAITH with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 according as his DIVINE POWER hath GIVEN UNTO US ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN UNTO LIFE AND GODLINESS, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 whereby are given unto us EXCEEDING GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” 2 Peter 1:1-4.

SUMMARY:

The message emphasises the BLESSEDNESS OF GOD, highlighting that it’s a GIVEN and ENTRUSTED enabling of GRACE, made available to enrich believers in Christ Jesus. This blessedness is for all born of God, available to enact and authenticate in grace by faith, without limitations or partiality.

Key points include:

  • God’s blessedness fuels an onward and upward trajectory in life (Proverbs 10:22, Ephesians 1:1-12).
  • It’s for sufficiency, abundance, and giving to others without murmuring (Philippians 4:17, 19; 2 Corinthians 8:9; John 10:10).
  • It helps cleanse the Church of evil and wickedness, countering poverty mentality (Proverbs 30:7-9, Psalms 112:3).
  • It establishes the righteous in DOMINION as overcomers in Christ (Ecclesiastes 9:13-18, Ecclesiastes 7:12).
  • It’s based on God’s faithfulness, promises, and redemption rights (2 Corinthians 1:18-22, 1 Thessalonians 5:24, Galatians 3:13-14, 26-29).

The message encourages believers to know and understand their RIGHTS and PRIVILEGES in REDEMPTION, and to live godly lives in response to God’s blessedness.
